A Lil Update

Sorry I've been so dead around here! I am promise I am alive, just busy :)

I'm chugging along getting Chapter 29 ready while also working. I've also recently been doing drabbles and taking on comfort character letter c0mms.

I'm actively working on a few drabble responses to asks I've got here. Food will be coming soon. Just give me a bit to cook it up. Nom nom.

This has probably become somewhat apparent, but I’m on a hiatus. My fics aren’t abandoned—I intend to finish them one day (I don’t know when)—but I need to take a break.

I had a kid two years ago and being a working parent is rewarding and wonderful and also really fucking hard. There has been a lot going on in my life and fanfic has had to take a backseat.

I debated whether I should say this next part, but I’m going to because I think it’s important. I got a fair number of asks about when my next update would be. Many of these asks were lovely; others left me feeling like people saw me as a content machine instead of a person.

I write fanfic because I enjoy it. It’s a hobby. But these interactions in particular made it start to feel like an obligation and a chore and that was when I started to feel like I needed to take a longer break.

So: I’m on a break. I’ll be back some day and I intend to finish my fics, but I don’t know when. I keep an eye on my fanfic email and Discord, so if you need to get in touch, I’m available there. (I do check Tumblr, but much less regularly). 

As long as this post is pinned, this is what my current status is.

A Minor update

My guests aren't leaving until Friday around noonish.

And the only time I have to write is early in the morning before they wake up. Which, really, gives me time to answer some asks and that's about it 😭

I'm so burnt out on people in general, lol

But when I can write again, I'm going to write something cute and fluffy with Tup, because it's what I deserve

Hey folks, I've been getting a lot of requests asking for bots to react to personalities. And I'm getting a little burnt out of them.

For example a request will say "Can I get these bots reacting to a person with the personality of someone from this show."

Now I have no problem with doing them, but I'm going to take a little break from them. I'm not deleting the ones I currently have, I will be keeping them in my inbox and I will complete them when I feel up to them again.

My ask box is still open! I am still taking requests. I actually have a few Mirage ones I'm quite looking forward to writing.

And if you do send me an ask about reactions to personalities or likeness to characters that's fine, I just won't be getting to them immediately and you may have to wait a little.

well i made it to dublin, and then made it to zurich and have been here for four nights with ~A and his family. it is tiring! nice moments. many challenging moments. two more nights here, then our holiday, then i start the new job

greetings to all my companions! I know I haven’t been posting any art or writing lately and it is because my fandom phases have been waxing and waning fast enough to make my head spin 🤪 I am a writer with universes and stories of my own, one of which is called The Hope of Arnória. I write fantasy professionally, so it’s a massive book thus far; hopefully the first of four or five that I have plotted out. I would love to post snippets from it, and art for my beloved characters but hesitate because no one really knows about them, lol 😂

I would love to share more about this world with you guys. And if enough of you are interested I’ll be posting art and (hopefully more refined) writing and incorrect quotes and such far more regularly. Love ya’ll so so much who support my humble blog, and I hope to interact with y’all soon! 🤍✌🏻

Alone No Longer: Chapter 6- Spiderwebs (pt. 1)

In which the Captain gets what he deserves interrogated and Sabine has to face a few hard truths.

Blood splattered the rolled sleeve of Walter's white shirt as the rings across his knuckles split werewolf flesh.

"Who sent you? What were your orders?"

Before the cut had finished healing, his fist connected again. Bones crunched under the blow. Walter followed up with a vicious uppercut that bounced the Captain's head back against the chair he was restrained to.

"Who was the information leak? Answer the question, damn you!"

Walter was breathing hard by the time he raised his fist for another strike. It took everything he had just to injure the iron-skinned werewolf.

The Captain slowly lowered his head and glared at him through the curtain of his white hair. Something moved within his mouth. The guards lifted their rifles, but Walter stopped them with a motion of his hand.

"Hold your fire."

The werewolf turned his head and spat. A long, bloody fang bounced across the table towards the guards. Neither flinched. Arthur had made sure that only battle hardened veterans would watch over the prisoner.

Silver shackles bound the Captain's hands behind the chair and secured his feet to the floor. A tight, silver collar prevented him from changing form, while the rifles carried high caliber silver ammunition. He was a tough bastard, even by Midian standards, but enough silver to his vital points would eventually kill him.

Still, Walter knew that the Captain was only there by his choice.
