Mayhaps... can I get descriptions of your cryptidcast au characters...... for reasons..... 👀✏️

👀 indeed!Well, I haven’t actually designed most of them so far, otherwise I’d have posted art of them, but I can give you the general ideas I have so far!

(WHOOPS I got really into this and now its kinda long lmao)

Nano - In this au, I have Mother pinned as a very powerful demonic entity that Nano was forced to make a deal with in order to escape the Nether. As a result of this deal, she’s being slowly transformed into a lesser demon as a replacement for the flux. She’s got weird twisty horns (one is bigger than the other), claws n (tiny!) wings cuz I Gotta, and the areas of her skin that are transformed are still purple, but a darker more gloomy purple, with said skin being rough and pebbly

Five - She’s no longer a clone of Nano, but instead the kind of lesser demon Nano is turning into. I haven’t decided why shes out of the Nether but it involves Lalnable and having some beef with Mother.  Weird and twisty horns, fully grown wings and claws, and all her skin is the weird purple skin

Lalna - Lalna is a changeling! So that means, most of the time, he just looks like regular ol human Lalna. But when his glamour is dispelled, hes got those adorable pink wings from FB2, and glowing pink freckles cuz ITS MY AU AND I WANT HIM TO HAVE FRECKLES. Besides that I haven’t actually decided how changelings/un-glamoured fae look in this au, so you’re sorta on your own there. I’m thinking something insect-inspired but idk yet

Lalnable - Yknow how Lalna is a changeling? Lalnable is the human he was swapped out for! Unfortunately, the fae didn’t manage to keep him forever, and now he’s fuckin pissed. He’s on a revenge campaign to kill his changeling and eventually destroy the shit out of the Court that kidnapped him. His outfit is different, but I haven’t designed it, so you’re on your own there. He’s still got the ponytail tho cuz its too good to not have

Xephos - Just so happens to be the fae that kidnapped Lalnable, and the ruler of his Court. Not much is known about this creature or his motivations, but it seems like he isn’t exactly on friendly terms with most of the magical world… I don’t have him designed like At All, but he’d have big ol fancy wings, and his outfit would be a mix between classic royal wear, his usual long coat, and some serious flower crown aesthetic. Bright but sorta faded in a glowy way colors, mostly blues and greens with white. Glowing blue freckles cuz I do what I want

Nilesy - The boy that started this au!!! He’s a siren, but he doesn’t actually know how to use his powers very well (he tends to only use them on accident). I posted a little doodle of him the other day, so he’s basically the only one with a design. He’s got some serious Feather Floof on most of his body, except his face and lower arms and legs. His face is just a normal human face cuz thats how sirens do, and his lower arms and legs are sorta like modified bird legs? Like the pebbly skin and claws, but more like human hands so they’re usable for normal human tasks like holding things good. Still absolute shit at swimming and voted most likely to drown

Rythian - He’s a goddamn baby enderdragon holy SHIT. Except the Queen enderdragon sent him off into the human world to spy on them with some frankly shitty shapeshifting magic. And then he was like “hm actually fuck you i live here now.” He’s got spooky endereye lookin eyes, a serious maw of sharp teeth, and a lot of scales showing thru his skin. Hence the mask and bandages on his limbs. Still just as grumpy as regular Rythian, but with his protectiveness boosted to 5000 cuz the dragon urge to hoard and protect treasure extends to living beings. It’s more adorable than creepy most of the time.

I haven’t decided what to do for some characters like Zoeya, Lomadia, and Honeydew, and theres a bunch of other characters that I just don’t know enough about to do anything (like hatfilms), but I’m open to suggestions!
