Care to explain this?
Absolutely. They are what we call pictures. In this case, images taken from a longer set of moving pictures we call an animated film. This series of animated films is called Arthur.
In the original version, the frames are projected many times a second, and due to a phenomena known as the persistence of vision, appear to us to be moving.
Any questions?

hi!
I want to thank everyone who reached out with their love yesterday. I wanted to update you guys on what’s going on. I would like to share a TW because I am gonna talk about death and overdoses. if you cannot read, just know I love you and appreciate you and I hope you have a wonderful day. I will still be active on here when I can!
yesterday morning, my aunt was found dead in her house. the police say it may have been a fentanyl overdose. my family is shattered. we knew she had some problems with pain pills because she was in a very bad accident a couple years ago that almost left her dead. it doesn’t soften the blow at all, of course, but it does give more perspective of her situation.
she loved her family. she deserved better.
if y’all didn’t know this about me, i’m from north carolina (technically pennsylvania but I moved away when I was 15). my dads side is all from mississippi, which is where my aunt resided. I would love to just fly there to be with my family but my dad is a control freak and wants to just drive. what this means? I get to be in a car for 12/13 hours!! yay (not)!!
I will be lurking on here, of course. you all really put my mind at ease and make me so fucking happy. the community here is beyond supportive and loving. you guys always keep my mind off the bad shit in my life. so I will be around! and since I have a whole day in the car ahead of me, maybe i’ll write! who knows 😂
if you’ve read this far, thank you for listening. I can’t thank you guys enough for all the love I got yesterday. hold your loved ones close. if you know anyone struggling with addiction, please stick by them and offer as much support as you can, even if it’s at a distance.
if you guys ever need someone to talk to, i’m here. my inbox is always open!
xoxo

An apology.
I just wanted to make a small little announcement; I would like to apologize for my lack of activity here, I know I owe some responses and I apologize for making people wait... About a week ago I have endured a horrible tragedy, my cat of fifteen years had passed away, so I was struggling with the loss of my best friend, whom I have raised since the day she was born. I'm still reeling from the loss and grief, my heart aches for her and I miss her terribly. But with that being said, I will definitely try to get back into the swing of things here very soon. I just ask for your patience, that is all and thank you for taking the time to read this.

Hey...
Long time no post; again. I have to be honest I've been in a major block when it comes to writing. Despite not posting at all about it, I did watch season 6 as an avid watcher as I have been for 8 years now. And I loved it. I was so glad to see Rick's development in trying to better himself, only to fall back as many of us do. Watched the finale so excited for the next installment for the hunt for his number one nemesis, with Morty by his side.
That was all of course, until the horrible details came to light about Justin Roiland. I was horrified and disgusted to learn that this person that helped create this show that I've come to love, who created and voiced this character I've written fics of, dedicated this entire blog, and have gotten to know so many people from, would do these things. I have to be honest, I haven't watched an episode at all ever since. I just watched the trailer for season 7, and I want to be so excited but right now, I'm starting to think that I'll never be able to enjoy the show the same again. So... I'm sure it's a bummer to hear that, but I can't force myself to feel a certain way when it's not genuine. I'm gonna watch season 7 but as I'm typing this, my excitement is not where it has been before all this. I'm sorry.

Feel free to share which is your favorite NOW in the tags, but this particular poll is about which you preferred as a child! ⭐ These are being grouped by a vague theme, so in a few days we'll do another one with more options!
Also, same rule as the last poll: REALLY popular choices (ATLA, SpongeBob, Scooby Doo, Pokemon, etc.) are overwhelmingly popular and have been omitted for the sake of seeing the results for other shows.
Notes: These are shows involving live action characters, no cartoons this time! The timeframe for these polls is generally "I was a kid in the mid-to-late 90s or early 2000s." Mister Roger's Neighborhood and Sesame Street are both multi-generational so they were not included to be fair to the show's with shorter runs 💖

Smtimes your house is haunted because there's a ghost sometimes your house is haunted because you miss grandma and your mom misses her even more sometimes your house is haunted because the subtext of how the last owners decorated rubs you wrong way sometimes your house is haunted because you've sublimated the fact that you didn't want to move in the first place and Sometimes your house is haunted because there's a carbon monoxide leak. Lots of options.
