alfred rocking some different flight jackets (nerd stuff under cut)
The flight jacket, an iconic piece of any aviator's outerwear. Before they ever became symbols of fashion and the 'exalted' place that came with the occupation of pilot, the flight jacket as we know it was first made for function. Aircraft of World War I and the earliest designs were open cockpit machines, and many would remain that way in the Interbellum. All that to say this paramount paraphernalia's original purpose was to keep an aviator warm in the sky.
Keep in mind that the images above may not reflect every specimen of their type. Jackets differed in design by manufacturer, production block, and even by the military branch (Navy jackets also often have a different name) & unit ordering them. A great example is the wide range of looks for the quintessential B-3. My apologies in advance for them being all American designs. I would love to show off some of the British flight jackets, but I would rather do a little more research (and practice drawing Arthur more)!
A-1 (1927-1931) A thin leather jacket designed for lower altitudes and made with a flattering fit high on the waist, the A-1 was the kickstart to the wide variety the Army Air Corps would come to know. The A-1 had differing designs between the Navy and the infant Air Corps, and early A-1s are distinguished by having seven buttons and a knit collar, which later models did not keep. However, later models did retain the knit waistband and cuffs.
A-2 (1931-1943) The direct successor to the A-1, the A-2 quickly replaced its older brother. This is one of the more recognizable jackets from the States after becoming the standard for the Air Corps in the early 1930s. The quality of the jackets would fall due to wartime rationing, with early designs of horsehide and silk becoming goatskin and cotton, however, the general look remained. The A-2 was still primarily for open cockpit designs, lower altitudes, and warmer climes. Identifiable from the A-1 by its snap-down leather collar, zipper, and varying shapes and sizes of a hook-and-eye clasp at the collar to close it.
G-1 (1938-present) This looker would replace the A-2 in form and function during the 1940s, first becoming popular with the Army and Navy before being adopted by USAAF. Originally named the ANJ-3/AN-J-3 the jacket gained its new designation by the time the Air Corps caught on. The G-1 came with a mouton collar and a bi-swing back to allow for greater arm movement, meanwhile, it lacked the over-zipper 'wind flap' of its predecessors. A keen eye for pop culture might realize that this is the jacket from the 1986 hit Top Gun.
B-3 (1934-1943) Ah, the B-3! Commonly known simply as the "bomber jacket," the B-3 was made with a high-altitude bomber in mind, unlike previous designs. Incredibly bulky and lined with sheepskin the B-3 was made to keep crews at 25,000 feet above from freezing in their unpressurized cabins, with many such as the early B-17 Flying Fortresses possessing open waist gunner ports. The wide collar could be closed with two leather straps and the jacket did not come with the famous knit waistband or cuffs that others did. "The General" was a B-3 design made specifically for General George S. Patton, who popularized the B-3 outside of the Air Corps. (The B-3 had a slimmer cousin - the B-6 - designed as the 'quality of life' inside bombers improved, such as pressurized cabins.)
B-7 (1941-1942) Short-lived, the B-7 Parka was manufactured for pilots operating in the brutal cold of Alaska. However, not much is known of it due to its limited production. In fact, the B-7 was discontinued swiftly due to its high manufacturing cost. Either way, the B-7 is a funky one-off that is easily distinguishable from the lineup by its three-quarter length and coyote-lined hood.
B-15 (1944-1954) The infamous green flight jacket that many today typically know as the "bomber jacket". The B-15 quickly replaced its older brother, the B-10 (1943-1944). Like other designs it had many variations. Similar to the G-1, the B-15 shared the same pocket design and lack of a wind flap, yet the B-15 was cloth with a mouton collar and a knit waistband and cuffs. The shell was produced in a range of materials including nylon and cotton-rayon. It was lighter weight and far less warm than its sheepskin predecessors and spoke to the advancements in aviation technology. A quirk of its design that soon became standard was the designated pen pocket on the upper left arm.
Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

Kadoya ‘Orb Knuckle’ Leather Moto-Gloves Kadoya stands tall as the oldest leather jacket manufacturer in Japan. Founded by Shojiro Fukano in 1935, the company’s establishment precedes World War II by 6 years, specializing in repair, dye, and tailoring. The brand has been rooted in Asakusa since debut, and often serviced American soldiers that were stationed in the East. From Tabi’s to obscure dying processes and special requests, customization remains a cornerstone of the brand’s ethos, encouraged by staff and tailors alike. Kadoya’s commitment to quality blends effortlessly with an acute eye for design, making for some of Japan’s best outerwear to date. This particular pair of ‘Orb Knuckle’ gloves are designed specifically for the safety and protection of the wearer, with its reinforced wrist guards and allowing for the rider to be more secure, with hardened padding on the knuckles to slide as opposed to scrape. Kadoya incredibly blurs the lines between functionality and fashion. With slight peeling on the interior leather lining, these gloves are a size large and are otherwise in great condition. Here is the opportunity to purchase a futuristic pair of gloves from heritage Japanese leather goods manufacturer Kadoya Leathers.

FEBUWHUMP DAY 2 | FLINCHING | wc: 629 | or, why gran torino can’t refer to himself as anything but a teacher
//
It’s been years since Sorahiko’s packed Toshinori off to the United States, and tonight marks the kid’s return to the homeland. He’s loitering in the Arrivals lobby with a dozen other strangers, but unlike them, Sorahiko has his hands shoved in his leather jacket’s pockets instead of lugging around some sentimental ‘Welcome Home!’ posterboard. Unlike them, Sorahiko isn’t anxiously scouring the emerging passengers and shouting his own name.
Toshinori should be able to recognize him still.
Or, well, Sorahiko should still be able to recognize Toshinori. All Might didn’t necessarily stay low as instructed, and the last phone-call (the fifth in as many years) didn’t give the impression that Toshinori had ruined his voice via shouting ridiculous catchphrases or smoking cigarettes.
Where is that kid? Business workers slink past, overshadowed by the tourists still foolhardy enough to test their luck at Japan. Travelers, family members, strangers…
Something in his spine eases when he spots yellow hair, somewhat covered by a cap embroidered with a car manufacturer’s logo. Sorahiko snorts to himself when he places the logo as American, and he tips his head to acknowledge Toshinori’s own curious tilt. Around them, cheerful reunions ring out in peals of laughter and greetings.
He matches Toshinori’s pace to the exit. A limo driver gets mercilessly elbowed out of the way, because Sorahiko has a kid to pick up and some scoldings to deliver in-person--
To Sorahiko’s immense consternation, the kid’s grown taller. He already had a growth spurt prior to boarding the plane to the States, but now he has more than a full head over Sorahiko. But it seems like height didn’t gift an equal quantity of confidence.
This close, Sorahiko spots a faint sheen of sweat on Toshinori’s forehead, the slight quivering of hands white-knuckling the luggage. Weird. It’s ice-cold in the airport, but One for All always kept Shimura toasty warm in the wind, rain, or snow.
And then Toshinori says, “Sensei. I’m ready.”
Sorahiko fumbles for words. He definitely had something of a script, beginning with a jab about David Shield’s talent for being a damsel in distress and concluding with a brusque welcome home. Cutting the niceties is Sorahiko’s bad habit, and it feels odd to be on the receiving end. So instead he says, “To set up an agency? Have fun.”
The kid deflates, just a little. “Torino-sensei, you know what I mean.”
“Open with cryptic shit, and I’ll misinterpret it however I want,” Sorahiko shoots back. He bites his tongue before he can say anything else, and then powers through. “Just get a night’s rest first before you tell me the five-year plan, alright? Bed’s made up for you.”
It’s the right thing to say, but Sorahiko proceeds to do the wrong thing next, which is stepping forward into Toshinori’s space. He means to hug the kid. Just a quick embrace, unlike the bear-hugs Toshinori and Shimura used to deal each other inside and out of the agency.
Toshinori flinches back before Sorahiko can lift his arms. Plastered over his face is a wide, nervous smile that shows all his teeth.
Call Sorahiko an idiot with the emotional depth of a teaspoon, but at least he can switch gears quick; he knocks his knuckles against Toshinori’s shoulder and grasps for the rolling suitcase’s handle.
“You carry the duffel,” he says.
“Oh, you don’t have to--”
“Let’s go,” says Sorahiko. He turns away and starts stalking for the exit out of Arrivals. Toshinori splutters a few syllables, but judging by the hurried squeaking of heavy-soled sneakers, obediently trails Sorahiko to the parking garage. He leaves breaking the silence up to Toshinori, and refuses, point-blank, to let the sour edge of remorse bleed into the way he treats his car when Toshinori opts to stay quiet.

how would u define indie sleaze style??
Daniel Rodgers of Dazed magazine described it as "grubby, maximalist, and performatively vintage" and NME's El Hunt defined it as being defined by a sense of "chaotic spontaneity". It draws inspiration from 1980s fashion and grunge fashion, as well as mixing elements from twee, scene, and electropop.
Per Wikipedia, “[indie sleaze] clothes including metallic bodysuits, studded "Lita" boots manufactured by shoe company Jeffrey Campbell, lamé leggings, chokers, shutter shades, ballet flats, chunky gold jewelry, striped shirts, lensless glasses, sheer tops, big belts, plaid pants, cardigans, A-line skirts, tennis skirts, high-top Converse sneakers, long or layered necklaces, cropped leather jackets, fedoras, the Balenciaga Motorcycle Bag, stockings with shorts, wired headphones, band T-shirts, and skinny jeans, as well as other elements such as galaxy prints, "Aztec" prints, side-swept bangs, “waif-thin" bodies, “recession roots", smudged eyeliner and mascara, amateur flash photography, torn clothing, Polaroid cameras, cigarettes, and drug use have all been listed as hallmarks of indie sleaze. American Apparel was influential on the development of indie sleaze.”

The Art of Customizable Varsity Jackets
In the ever-evolving world of fashion, customization has become a hallmark of self-expression. One such iconic garment that has stood the test of time and embraced personalization with open arms is the varsity jacket.
Tumblr media
Originally associated with sports teams, the varsity jacket has transformed into a versatile and stylish piece that allows individuals to showcase their unique identity. In this article, we explore the art of customizable varsity jackets and how they have become a canvas for self-expression.
The Timeless Appeal of Varsity Jackets
Heralding a Legacy
The varsity jacket, often referred to as the "letterman jacket," traces its roots back to American collegiate sports in the 19th century. Originally awarded to top-performing athletes, the jacket quickly became a symbol of prestige and achievement.
With its distinctive design featuring a contrasting color scheme, ribbed cuffs and collar, and the prominent display of the wearer's achievements in the form of patches and letters, the varsity jacket became an enduring icon.
The Evolution of Varsity Jackets
Beyond the Field: A Style Evolution
Over the years, the varsity jacket has transcended its athletic origins to become a mainstream fashion staple. No longer confined to the realm of sports, it has found its way into streetwear, casual fashion, and even high-end designer collections. The evolution of the varsity jacket has been marked by creative reinterpretations of its classic design, introducing new fabrics, colors, and embellishments.
Personalization Takes Center Stage
As fashion enthusiasts seek unique ways to express their individuality, customization has emerged as a key trend. Custom varsity jackets offer a perfect platform for self-expression, allowing wearers to infuse their personality into a classic silhouette. From selecting colors and materials to adding personalized patches, embroidery, or even unique linings, the possibilities are limitless.
Crafting Your Identity
Choosing the Right Elements
The process of creating a custom varsity jacket involves careful consideration of various elements. Choosing the right colors, fabrics, and trims is essential to achieving a harmonious and visually appealing design. From classic wool and leather combinations to modern takes with sustainable materials, the choices are as diverse as the individuals creating them.
Personalized Embellishments
The true magic of a custom varsity jacket lies in the personalized embellishments. From embroidered initials to patches representing hobbies, interests, or achievements, each detail adds layers to the wearer's story. This level of personalization not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also creates a sentimental connection between the wearer and their garment.
The Future of Custom Varsity Jackets
Embracing Sustainability
As the fashion industry places an increasing emphasis on sustainability, custom varsity jackets are following suit. Designers and manufacturers are exploring eco-friendly materials and production processes to create personalized jackets with a smaller environmental footprint. The future of custom varsity jackets may well be defined by a commitment to both style and sustainability.
Technological Advancements
Advancements in technology have also played a role in the customization of varsity jackets. From virtual design tools that allow individuals to visualize their creations before production to innovative printing and embroidery techniques, technology is enabling a new level of precision and creativity in the customization process.
Conclusion
In the realm of fashion, the custom varsity jacket stands as a symbol of personal expression and individuality. From its humble beginnings on the sports field to its current status as a versatile fashion statement, the varsity jacket continues to evolve. With a canvas for creativity and a nod to tradition, custom varsity jackets offer a unique way for individuals to craft their own sartorial identity in a world that celebrates diversity and self-expression.

Q: no really hank, how do you know what these people are gonna do? Why are they so predictable? it's all in the clockwork orange
A: oh, i'd love to play grand poobah here and make em wonder i really would.
but no, it's not that complicated
it's just the status quo american toddler male juxtaposed up against what an actual toddler male at 3 would do
mostly when you know that, you know these people and how they'll act
i wish there were more to it than that -- i really do.
i mean you have to keep in mind when they're literally you're father -- not just some toddler who's like your father -- that you're actually a property doll to em as long as you're sort of on their property
otherwise you're a disposable doll, like a kid playing at somebody else's home -- a spoiled kid -- one who would throw the doll at the wall just for laughs when mommy is calling that kid home for lunch just because the kid knows they can get away with it and actually feels validated and good from this behaviour because they needed a government to tell them this is a competitive capitalistic system, and they'll never break away from their manufacturing code because they are fundamentally
weak
and
wanting to be cucked even further from on high and the established powers that be. squares for sure.
no amount of Gen X flouncing around in leather jackets and still babbling about Bauhaus albums will take away this square nature either. it's not so neat and tidy in which they just listen to Huey Lewis, kids. I mean, look at Johnny Rotten and what he's become -- have you kids noticed? Johnny Trump Rotten.

just some tidbits on jason, specific to my portrayal. * tw : drugs, overdose
Tumblr media
FULL NAME. Jason Peter Todd (renamed from Jason Thanavong) AGE. 19-24. DATE OF BIRTH.  August 16th. TITLE. The Redhood, formerly the second Robin. ISTP. The Virtuoso. MORAL ALIGNMENT. Chaotic Good.  GENDER + SEXUALITY. Transmasc nonbinary, Lesbian. (He/Him)  ETHNICITY. Lao-American (1st generation immigrant.)
JASON WAS BORN TO WILLIS AND CATHERINE THANAVONG.  He never knew his father who ended up in prison when he was an infant (and never returned after serving his sentence), and he lived alone with his drug addicted mother he took care of by boosting and selling car parts in Crime Alley. His mother eventually died of an overdose, and he continued his criminal s activities as a teenager to support himself until he got caught in the middle of trying to steal the Batmobile’s tires. Though impressed by the youth’s audacity, Batman enrolled Jason into an all boy’s school for troubled youth. The school ended up being corrupt within, manufacturing and grooming the next generation of petty criminals; when Jason ran away from the school, he and Batman worked together to expose and bring down the operation. From there, Bruce Wayne took Jason under his wing and trained him to be Dick Grayson’s successor as Robin.
JASON, WORKING AS ROBIN, eventually discovered the truth behind his father’s disappearance and pursued Two-Face for vengeance; at the last moment, he tempered his rage, and allowed the latter to be arrested. This wouldn’t be the last time he charged headfirst into jobs, however, and Bruce had concerns for Jason using excessive force and  lethal justice. Felipe Garzonasa, a serial rapist, was his first confirmed kill.
LEADING UP TO A DEATH IN THE FAMILY,  Jason’s past wore down on his psyche, and Bruce’s plans in having him use the Robin role as an outlet failed. Using Bruce’s resources, he found out that his birth mother was actually alive, and he, after his dismissal from his duties, left the country to find her in Ethiopia. Though overjoyed to meet her,  Sheila sold him out to the Joker who brutally beat him in a warehouse and trapped both mother and son within with a time bomb.  Batman rushed to save them, but arrive too late as the bomb detonated. He recovered Jason and Sheila’s bodies in the rubble and sent them back to Gotham for burial.
SIX MONTHS AFTER HIS BURIAL,  Talia al Ghul retrieved Jason’s body from his coffin and resurrected him in the Lazarus Pit, though he went into violent shock immediately after waking up and escaped. Five years later, he returned to Gotham under the moniker of The Red Hood to take revenge on both the Black Mask and the Joker, though his plan failed. He escaped and remained in hiding for some time, though had several other vigilante ventures that somewhat mended his relationship with the Batfamily and Bruce.
NOTE:  Due to many contradictions of comic events / characterizations, I’ve decided to simplify his origins just a bit, drawing inspiration primarily from Jason’s Post-Crisis Robin run, the Outlaws issues, the Under the Red Hood comic and films, and the Wayne Family Adventures webtoon. Please don’t bite me, comic books are a a mess.
APPEARANCE. JASON IS TALL AND MUSCULAR with tan skin and brown eyes. He has black hair with a small streak of white hair that curls over his forehead that developed after his resurrection. Pre-resurrection, his hair was all black.
He often dresses in masculine red and black clothing; his Red Hood outfit commonly consists of a red helmet, black chest armor with a red bat over his chest (symbolizing his alignment with the Batfamily) that also has a built in taser function, black pants, boots, gloves, and a brown leather jacket.
He often opts for comfortable athleisure when off-duty with hoodies, sweatpants, and sneakers though other times, his fashion can be best described as ‘edgy’ or ‘punk’, with jeans, leather jackets, and boots; he lightly accessorizes with piercings and bracelets.

The Harley-Davidson Classic Cruiser Jacket is a perfect embodiment of this fusion of style and functionality. In this article, we will delve into the timeless elegance of the Classic Cruiser Jacket, exploring its history, design, and the enduring appeal it holds for riders and enthusiasts.
The Legend of Harley-Davidson Harley-Davidson, founded in 1903 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is more than just a motorcycle manufacturer. It represents the American spirit, innovation, and a way of life centered around the thrill of the ride. Harley-Davidson motorcycles are not mere vehicles; they are symbols of freedom and rebellion.
The essence of Harley-Davidson isn't confined to the mechanical marvels they create. It's about the lifestyle that surrounds these motorcycles, a lifestyle that often includes a distinctive sense of fashion. The clothing and gear worn by Harley-Davidson riders reflect their passion for the open road and their desire to look the part.
The Classic Cruiser Jacket The Harley-Davidson Classic Cruiser Jacket is a hallmark of motorcycle fashion. It is not merely an article of clothing; it is a symbol of a commitment to the road, a tribute to freedom, and a connection to the legacy of Harley-Davidson. What makes this jacket stand out?
Design and Craftsmanship The Classic Cruiser Jacket is a piece of artistry, handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail. It typically features high-quality leather, providing not only style but also essential protection. The leather serves as a barrier against the elements, protecting riders from wind, rain, and other environmental factors, while also enhancing safety.
One of the distinctive features of the Classic Cruiser Jacket is its design. It often adheres to the classic black leather look, adorned with the iconic Harley-Davidson logo. This black leather design, combined with orange accents, reflects the brand's identity and instantly identifies the wearer as a member of the Harley-Davidson community.
The jacket is thoughtfully engineered for riders. It typically incorporates a zippered front, adjustable cuffs, and a snap-tab collar. These features not only provide a rugged and timeless aesthetic but also help keep the wind at bay during those long rides.
Protection and Comfort Riding a motorcycle exposes individuals to the elements, and the Classic Cruiser Jacket is designed to offer both protection and comfort. The leather functions as a robust shield against wind, cold, and rain, ensuring that the rider remains comfortable and dry on the journey.
Safety is paramount, and the jacket often includes built-in body armor or pockets for additional protection. Riders can feel confident knowing that they are not only fashionable but also well-protected. The jacket's design offers both form and function, with its adjustable cuffs, waist belts, and vents allowing for a snug fit and improved comfort during the ride.

The classic design of the jacket, coupled with the iconic Harley-Davidson logo, announces the rider's allegiance to a community of like-minded individuals who share a passion for the road and the freedom it represents. The jacket signifies a commitment to a lifestyle that values adventure, camaraderie, and the thrill of the ride.
The Legacy of the Classic Cruiser Jacket The allure of the Harley-Davidson Classic Cruiser Jacket extends far beyond its design and functionality. Its appeal lies in the legacy it carries. This jacket is a continuation of a tradition that has been passed down through generations of riders.
A Legacy of Freedom From the earliest days of Harley-Davidson, riders have cherished the sense of freedom that comes with the motorcycle experience. The Classic Cruiser Jacket is a tangible symbol of this freedom. It's a reminder that the open road is a place where riders can be themselves, escape the constraints of daily life, and embrace the thrill of the unknown.
A Legacy of Brotherhood Harley-Davidson riders often refer to themselves as a brotherhood, a close-knit community of individuals who share a common passion. The Classic Cruiser Jacket is a unifying element within this community. It's not just a piece of clothing; it's a badge of honor that signifies one's belonging to this exclusive club.

American Clothing Manufacturing in the Post-Pandemic World
Tumblr media
Introduction
Manufacturing in the U.S. has always been a high-skill, high-wage industry. Beginning with the Industrial Revolution, American factory workers were able to build some of the most advanced machinery in the world and create products that were far superior to those made anywhere else on Earth. This led to our nation’s rise as an economic superpower and helped drive our economy for decades. However, after years of outsourcing manufacturing jobs overseas and relying on imports for almost everything we use every day.
Many Americans started asking where these goods were being produced — and if they could be made right here in America instead. That question was answered when China experienced a deadly pandemic that killed millions of people just a few short years ago during an outbreak that spread into neighbouring countries like Indonesia and Malaysia before making its way back across oceans into North America — terrifying everyone who lived there along with their neighbours across oceans who wondered what might happen next?
Manufacturing In the U.S. Has Always Been a High-Skill, High-Wage Industry
Manufacturing in the United States has always been a high-skill, high-wage industry. A career in manufacturing offers stable opportunities and benefits that can help you support your family. Manufacturing jobs are also a great choice for people who want to get into a trade or technical field but don’t have the time or money to go back to school right away.
Manufacturing workers have some of the highest average wages of any occupation in America. And with an aging population, there’s no shortage of demand for skilled workers willing to fill these positions — the Bureau of Labor Statistics projects 5 million new job openings from 2016 through 2026 alone! Manufacturing in the U.S. has always been a high-skill, high-wage industry, and American clothing manufacturers are no exception. These manufacturers employ skilled workers who are well-trained in the art of clothing production, ensuring that the clothes they produce are of the highest quality.
Furthermore, American clothing manufacturers typically pay higher wages and offer better benefits to their workers than manufacturers in other countries. This is because they are subject to U.S. labor laws and regulations that protect workers’ rights, safety, and health.
By choosing to support American clothing manufacturers, consumers can feel good about contributing to an industry that provides good jobs for skilled workers and supports the U.S. economy. Moreover, buying American-made clothes ensures that workers are paid fairly and have safe working conditions, which is essential for maintaining a healthy and sustainable workforce. Overall, supporting American clothing manufacturers not only helps to boost the economy but also upholds high standards of labor and quality in the industry.
Today’s Clothing Manufacturers Offer Far More Than Just T-Shirts and Jeans
In today’s world, clothing manufacturers in USA are much more than just T-shirts and jeans. They offer far more than that. They make more than just clothing; they also produce apparel and sportswear (which includes athletic uniforms). And if you think they only make denim garments like jeans or jackets, think again! There are many other fabrics available for manufacturing purposes including leathers and even silk.
The rise of e-commerce has allowed these companies to expand their reach throughout the world while reducing costs at every step along the way (and this is where I come in). As an entrepreneur myself who has worked with several different types of businesses over my career, I can tell you first-hand how important it is for companies like ours — those who specialize in American manufacturing — to work together so we can continue producing high-quality products at competitively prices while still delivering value for our customers around the globe.
Today’s American denim and sportswear manufacturers are constantly pushing the boundaries of fashion, design, and innovation. While they still produce timeless classics like T-shirts and jeans, they offer much more than that. They are developing new materials, experimenting with cutting-edge designs, and creating clothing that is both functional and fashionable.
American denim manufacturers are known for their high-quality denim, which is durable, comfortable, and versatile. They are constantly innovating, and experimenting with new washes, treatments, and finishes to create unique and stylish denim products. American sportswear manufacturers, on the other hand, are developing clothing that is not only fashionable but also functional. They are incorporating advanced technologies and materials into their designs, creating clothing that is breathable, moisture-wicking, and temperature-regulating.
Moreover, American denim and sportswear manufacturers are also committed to sustainability and ethical practices. They are using eco-friendly materials, reducing waste in their production processes, and ensuring that their workers are treated fairly and paid a living wage. By choosing to support American denim and sportswear manufacturers, consumers can feel good about contributing to an industry that prioritizes quality, innovation, and sustainability.

By choosing to support American denim and sportswear manufacturers, consumers can feel good about the products they purchase and the impact they have on the industry and the world.
Modern garment manufacturers can do much more than make clothes
Modern garment manufacturers can do much more than make clothes. They can also make furniture, home décor, and other products that are made of fabric, wood, or metal. There is very little they cannot do because they have access to the same machinery and equipment as other industries that require similar skill sets. If you’re looking for a manufacturer who can make anything out of fabric — from clothing to furniture — look no further than Modern Garment Manufacturing.
Modern garment manufacturers have evolved beyond the traditional role of just making clothes. Today, they can offer a wide range of additional services that enhance the value of their products and make them more attractive to customers. For example, modern garment manufacturers can provide custom design services to clients, allowing them to create unique and personalized clothing items. They can also offer product development services, helping clients to turn their ideas into reality by offering expertise in materials, construction, and manufacturing techniques.
In addition, the modern best clothing manufacturers in usa can offer supply chain management services, helping clients to source materials and manage their inventory. They can also provide quality control services, ensuring that the finished products meet the highest standards of quality and workmanship.
Moreover, many modern garment manufacturers have also embraced technology to improve their operations and offer new and innovative products. They are using advanced materials, 3D printing, and other cutting-edge technologies to create clothing that is both functional and fashionable.
Overall, modern apparel manufacturers are no longer just makers of clothes. They offer a wide range of additional services that enhance the value of their products and make them more attractive to customers. They are embracing technology, offering custom design and product development services, and providing supply chain management and quality control services. As a result, the modern garment manufacturing industry is more dynamic and versatile than ever before.
The Post-Apocalyptic World Will Need Plenty of Clothes Made by American Hands and Machines
You may have heard the news: The pandemic has claimed millions of lives, and millions more are at risk of contracting it. In times like this, people look to their government for guidance and support. But you don’t need me to tell you that our government has been slow to act — and even slower still in providing aid for those most deeply affected by this crisis.
As American citizens and consumers, it’s up to us as individuals not only to take care of ourselves but also those around us who need help today more than ever before. One way we can do this is by supporting American clothing manufacturers — and helping them continue making clothes after the pandemic ends by buying from them now!
The Future of American Manufacturing Is Bright and Open to All
The future of American manufacturing is bright, and American sustainable clothing manufacturers are leading the way. These manufacturers prioritize ethical and eco-friendly practices in their production processes, ensuring that their clothing is made sustainably and responsibly. They use sustainable materials such as organic cotton, recycled polyester, and natural dyes, reducing the negative impact of clothing production on the environment.
Furthermore, American sustainable apparel manufacturers are committed to reducing waste in their production processes, by minimizing water and energy usage and implementing recycling programs for textile scraps and clothing waste. They also prioritize fair labor practices, ensuring that workers are paid fairly and have safe working conditions.
The rise of sustainable clothing manufacturers in USA is not just good for the environment and workers, but it also provides consumers with high-quality, stylish, and sustainable clothing options. Consumers are becoming increasingly aware of the impact their purchases have on the environment and are seeking out sustainable options. American sustainable clothing manufacturers are meeting this demand, creating clothing that is not only eco-friendly but also fashionable and functional.

The History of Leather Jackets: Where did leather jackets originate?
Tumblr media
Since its inception, the women's leather bomber jacket has been a favourite Wardrop item for both men and women. You can choose from a variety of hides to make these classic outfits, including cowhide and sheepskin as well as goat leather, sheepskin or lambskin, horsehide and kangaroo. This amazing men's leather jacket is made by most of the major manufacturing companies in cowhide or sheepskin. Cowhide is a durable, tough and rouged leather that's unlike any other types. Many styles and designs were created by the new producers of this iconic outerwear that maherleathers have at their online store. There are many styles to choose from, including asymmetric collars and zipped or hooded options. The biker jacket for women has a shorter body with a more stylish cut.
These hides are made from natural animals such as horses, goats, sheep, pigs and cows. The leather is strong and resistant to abrasions. It is also used by large corporations to make motorcycle racing suits, bags, and shoes. It provides a lot of protection and safety for those who wear it on challenging race tracks.
Leather Jacket History
The crucial period of World War I, July 28th 1914 to November 11th 1918 is well-known around the world. The US military's air corps flew fighter planes at over 25000 feet. There was no appropriate clothing that could protect the pilots from the extreme cold at high altitudes. At that time, their planes didn't have an enclosed window system. The air temperature was too low and the freezing cold constantly attacked the US flight crew. The outfit needed to be warm and durable so it could withstand the cold winds at high altitudes.
In 1917, the American air force clothing division made a leather jacket with horsehide for their pilots. These pilots were the first to wear leather jackets. These outfits were also known by the names flight, aviator and bomber jackets. Because of its durability and warmth, it was very popular. The front had buttons to close the door. To keep the wearer warm, a cotton inner lining was also added.
These outfits were subject to many modifications by the US aviation clothing board. They named them according to the series or users of the outfits. These names included A-1, B-2 and B-3 as well as M-1 and other. These outerwear items were also manufactured by local American organizations. They used horse hide, while others used cow or sheep leather. They all had a durable look and lasted a long time.
Introduction to the Fashion World
In 1928, Irvin Schott was an American citizen with extraordinary talent who created the first fashion-oriented leather coat. His classic motorcycle leather jacket is the most loved design in the modern world. This outfit was sold in New York by the Harley Davidson Dealer for $5.50. This was the lowest price ever paid for this iconic design. To enhance the look of the outfit, he added a zipper to the front. His design gained too much popularity, not only in the United States of America, but all over the world.
Hollywood Interaction (the 1950s-60s)
Many companies began making fashion-inspired jackets in other styles and designs after the initial fashionable jacket became popular. Leather-made clothes became a common choice for everyday wear. These outfits were in great demand. These garments were soon in demand by Hollywood stars of the 1900s. These outfits were first used in Hollywood's top movies starting in 1950. Marlon Brando wore a leather jacket in "The Wild One", a Hollywood movie. This was the first time a leather jacket had been worn in the film industry, in 1953. He played a dangerous member of a gang. He wore a leather jacket and a huge dressing sense, creating a tough look for a biker.
1955 was another big year for the outfit when "Rebel without a cause", the movie, was released. James Dean was the lead role in this movie. He was an American actor. His romantic movie character, the movie hero, wore a red leather jacket.
You will find Tom Cruise, the beloved actor of the 1980s. In his remarkable Top Gun movie , Cruise wore a flight bomber jacket and was a total bomber pilot presence. After the success of Hollywood's Top Gun movie, this bomber jacket was in high demand around the globe.
Women Enrolment
Women also updated their clothing during the period of changes in men's outerwear. The women are seen updating their fashion wears with some of the most iconic leather jackets of the 1970s and 1980s. Leather-made clothes were popular among women in the United States and European Unions. Women prefer to wear garments that were once worn by men. Joan Jett and Blondie, a well-known rock & roll band, wore the women's cowhide classic leather jacket. Their acts were a major boost for the demand of leather jackets for women. For the concert, they added some modifications to the outfit, such as buttons, studs and pins.
Today's leather jackets
The demand for leather jackets has not diminished and their sales graph has remained constant throughout the world. These timeless wears have not been out of fashion since their introduction in the fashion world. These wears are subject to modifications and other changes, but they still have the great favouritism both of men and women. At the moment, there are many styles, designs, colors, and options. These outfits are trendy, fashionable, fashion-oriented and warm.
