Hey! This is really sweet, anon! THank you! I'm doing great, I have a ton of exams and projects with school that are kind of kicking my butt rn, but today's my birthday so I am excited to share that with my family!

This is a really tough one, mostly because I never expected this friendship to be so popular with everyone. Although I shouldn't be surprised because Farleigh Start was actually so superior in the movie.

I feel like this is a good opportunity to give off some headcanons to describe the vibes I get from Fareligh and Y/n! There are also just my personal headcanons of Farleigh and his story in my AU! I made up these with the help of my internet soulmate @ethereal-athalia!

Here are some headcanons of my personal take of Farleigh's backstory in my AU and in general:

Is it weird if I can see Fareligh coming from New Orleans, Louisiana? Because I can absolutely see him giving off those vibes. He would fit PERFECTLY as a New Yorker, but I can't help but feel he would thrive in the Crescent City.

Farleigh really misses the States, and a big part of the reason he parties so much is to forget how homesick he is. I find it very odd that we are given this extremely intelligent character who would no doubt thrive in an Ivy League like Yale, Harvard, or Brown, but he's stuck in England. James definitely could have just paid for his education there, so why send him to England? Furthermore, why does James cover him up so much? Is it really just because he's family?

Remember when Felix told Oliver that Farleigh got kicked out of every school in England bc he "sucked the teachers off"? First off, ew. Secondly, sure, Farleigh is a bit of a hedonist, but all of his behavior just kind of screams to me that he's really and genuinely unhappy in England and wants to go back. That might be a reason why he was so reluctant for Felix to get close to Y/N since Chapter 1 of 'Fuck Everything.'

Furthermore, it really bothers me how nonchalant Felix is about telling Oliver that piece of information. Even if he knows that Farleigh wouldn't really care, that is still very private information about a young boy who was taken advantage of by teachers who were in a position that allowed them to abuse their power.

Also, for a film that exposes so much about its characters, we really don't know a lot about Farleigh Start and his story, specifically his family in the States.

The part where Farleigh's mom is terrible with money and constantly needs handouts from her brother, James, is very realistic - that part, I believe. But I feel like there is a lot missing with his dad.

Was his dad actually as brutish and abusive as Felix said to Oliver? Personally, I don't really see it. Even at first glance, the way Farleigh carries himself is leagues different from the rest of the Cattons. He's observant and takes in details. He uses all this information as a weapon for any opponent he goes up against.

In my opinion, I could absolutely see Farleigh's dad being a completely normal and decent person with a job as a librarian or English professor. This idea is mostly stemmed from when Fareligh made the 'thus' argument against Oliver's essay at the beginning of the movie, and this seems like something Farleigh knows as if being explained about it from a very early age.

The reason I think his father is ill-portrayed is because I feel like Farleigh's mother met him while she was in America and was intrigued by his unassuming self and married him. But then she got bored because she wasn't living the high and expensive life she was living in England with her family.

Eventually, she got bored and decided to use Farleigh as an excuse to get money from James. Farleigh's dad might have wanted custody of his son but was threatened by his ex-wife that he would never see his son again.

Farleigh is aware of his mother's toxic tendencies, but she's his mother and he loves her anyway. He know she's leeching off of him to get to her brother. But what are his other options? Let her fend for herself?

This is probably so far-fetched and a huge reach, but the Cattons are portrayed as people who love to feed off their own sense of entitlement over others by showing of 'generous' and 'charitable' they are to take of other people. When anything bad happens to them, they wear it like a trophy. Maybe that's what happened with Farleigh?

NOW! Onto Farleigh and Reader (also ft. Michael Gavey bc he's bb):

Being around Y/N is like being at home for the first time in forever (cue Frozen song) for Farleigh. When they start talking, Y/N is extremely skeptical of his intentions because she thinks that he's just trying to help out Felix. But nope! He just wants a genuine friend.

Y/N makes it clear to Farleigh from the beginning that if he wants to be friends with her, he needs to be friends with Michael. Michael Gavey and Y/N L/N are a package deal. You want one? You get the other.

Farleigh keeps his friendship with Reader a secret from Felix and is helped by Annabel (our girl got a taste of true kindness, sees Felix Catton for the leech he is, and is now part of the Y/N protection club)

With Y/N, he doesn't feel the need to party or drink until he gets alcohol poisoning to have a good time. He learns to have quiet nights doing homework or playing stupid board games with made-up rules.

Michael and Y/N introduce him to DnD, and he's the classic Bard player who rolls for charisma and ends up f*cking his party out of danger every time. Michael is a paladin, and Y/N is a monk, in case you were wondering.

Y/N sometimes uses Farleigh to model for some of her portraits. She learns to appreciate him because she and Michael do need to be reminded sometimes that it's okay to cut loose at times and that spreading their wings won't kill them.

Y/N and Farleigh definitely geek out over art history and literature (symbolism, plot holes, motifs, etc.) and are BIG soul and blues fans. When they all hang out in Y/N's dorm, they will be listening to James Brown, Ella Fitzgerald, and Ray Charles till dawn.

Y/N is someone whom Farleigh can have actual mind-stimulating conversations with in a manner that's respectful but also wildly entertaining. They will discuss everything from rousing debates about politics and current events to philosophical queries about the omegaverse and mpreg.

Michael pretended he wasn't a fan until they caught him singing along to 'Hit the Road Jack' and they never let him forget it.

Also, Farleigh is a MAJOR Michael Gavey x Y/N fan. He wants them to get together SO BADLY! But he won't do this in a productive/uncomplicated way. Nonononono, he plans to make the most convoluted, dramatic, and needlessly complicated schemes to get these two nerds together for his own amusement. *Nudge* *Nudge* *Wink* *Wink*

Real talk though, Fareligh genuinely loves Y/N and her presence as a friend. He has all these expectations placed on him and fake friends who only want to be around him for his cousins. To be around someone who not only misses home like him but also truly appreciates him as an individual and not as a commodity for networking means the world to him.

If Y/N ever does go to Saltburn for the summer (*foreshadowing*), Farleigh will do everything in his power to make sure she won't get sucked into his relatives' fake and shallow schemes.

Also, as a bonus, he loves ranting and trash-talking Oliver with Y/N and Michael. It's like free therapy with better snacks because Michael always brings candy.

for a long time i saved my opinion about the anime because the first few days it came out it was a war zone out there and people with a different opnion would've be jumped on hahaaaaaa.... but ANYWAYS To this day I'm still neutral about it. Not what I personally expected. After my first watch I felt so devasted tbh LOL I took me a while to even get closer to it again and watch some of it for a second time. BUT with time, i slowly started to appreciate what I did liked about the show: the amazing animation!!!!! it's one of the things i praise of, alongside side the music (which i still listen time to time) Now everthing else... is something... I don't like how Scott was handled in this show nor The whole plot for the last 3 episodes ifykyk 😭😭😭 like at ALL. And something that people always praise about the show is how the Exes now had more depth and and were fun too watch but imo the only one who stands out was roxie and matthew...everything else felt half cooked... todd just being part of a Gag and istg i feel ike the Twins talked/did more in the comic than the anime 😭?!?! they didnt gaf about them even here LMAOO

I feel like this show could've been so good if the people behind it weren't thinking about "doing everything we can do in 8 episodes and conclude it because we are sure we wont get a season two!" you know?? and these last episodes are the prove of it and that they were running out of time

About Wallace's characterization, back then I've mentioned to my friends once that i felt like he was OOC at first. Him pretending that didn't cared about Scott did hurted a little ahaha. But after Bryan mentioned that he wasn't OOC, wasn't being a dick like everyone else was saying-including me lol-and that we should've be looking at his actions rather than his words[?]I stepped back and think "well Alright if he say hes not I guess i'll go with it. I guess. thats just his way to cope with scott's disappearance. I think. .... Ah. ... I get it now........... I see.......!!!!!!!" and understood that perhaps he's not the kind of person to admmit his real feelings, But Being with Another Scott the day after hes gone, Being in a Movie about Scott's life, Tell the director that there should've be a scene of him and Scott making out just to later have sex with the actor that played Scott and was also only interested on him while he was on his Scott custome WELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's true that actions says more than words!!!!!!!! wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The english in the qsmp is dull.

I have been noticing this for a while and, talking to my non-english speaker friends (unlike myself), some have already distanced themselves from the server content because of this.

the idea of the qsmp is a global server, but this shouldn't be based soly in their nationality, but also the languages spoken in the server. And recently all we've seen is english being spoken 24/7, and of course this comes from the ease of comunicstion and speed, but we have a PERFECTLY good translator for that.

what frustated me more recently in purgatory was that, despite brigging AMAZING dynamics between the players, it reduced completely the spoken languages to english again. Because of the mini-events and distance that the creators are from each other, making the tool of amazing and automatic translation useless since it doesnt translate from a distance. And don't get me wrong, even quackity himself said he noticed he was doing more lives in english because of the "nature of the event".

When the owner of the server says this you see the problem.

anyway, second point, empanada

bagi is the pov I watch the most after my main (cellbit and morning crew) and, my god, how i LOVE this pov for being a brazillian that, for hanging out by herself, usually can speak portuguese. It's a relief. A breath of fresh air in the middle of english in weight [idk if this is a expression in english, but it means 'a lot'] from every direction

don't get me wrong, em is lovely and i'm VERY happy that niki will be able to speak german with her daughter. But at the same time, the language she does lives in is english. Just like all the other mothers.

Would it really be that hard to find an adm from a country that speaks portuguese? it doesn't even have to be brazillian. Portugal, Angola, Guiné-Bissau, Cabo Verde, Moçambique, even Macau.

I GUARANTEE you that there is a lot of people that speak portuguese that would join the QSMP team with a huge smile.

It's just dull to have a participant that came to represent the brazillian language and culture and speak portuguese 100% of the time in live because her daughter doesn't understand her language [I feel like this also goes for Ironmouse].

And I'm not saying necessarily for the creators, but for the people watching.

I started watching qsmp because of the brazillian streamers that I like, obviously, but also because I LOVE the server's idea, the cultural exchange and the linguistic trade.

The language is the main aspect of any culture and the linguistic erasure >CURRENTLY< in the qsmp makes me sad.

I was watching the old vods and it's weird to notice that — at least the brazillians— used to speak more portuguese when the translator was worse than now that it works perfectly.

It's just a bit disappointing to see a project that was made to break linguistic barriers end up keeping them through the sovereignty of the english language.

(after that, I have NO issues with the cultural aspect. The cultural exchange is made with mastery.)"

"And done!" Riddle's eyes go wide for a moment at the feeling of a weight on his head, posture stiffening up before whipping his head around to see you. Your wings flutter behind you as you practically twirl around him, taking your seat on the stump across the mushroom table from him.

His hands instinctively went to touch the weight on his head, lifting it off to examine it. White, red, floribunda, and cherry parfait were all weaved together in a gradient pattern to make a ring. Sticks and other plants were intertwined within the ring to make it truly look like a crown. You reached over to the crown and took it into your hands, placing it back onto Riddle's head.

An antique hand mirror rested in your hands, twirling about before you faced the reflective side to him. Upon seeing his reflection of the crown he wore in the mirror mixed with your serene expression he couldn't help but blush slightly. "My apologies, I wasn't aware I should have brought a proper crown." "It's a pixie custom of ours to dress our guests, you don't have to bring anything." 

"I insist-" "No Riddle, I insist. You have nothing to prove to me, you know?" "Is that so…" Riddles sounded dazed, unused to such statements. He was always expected to perform at his best at all times his whole life, no cracks, no breaks, just pure perfection. 

Yet here you were, patient as always, never tearing him down for any mistake he makes, but rather encouraging them. He was thankful to have found such a lovely partner as you. Somewhere in his mind, he wonders how his mother would react to him bringing home a man. You snap him out of his thoughts.

"Now, allow me to officially show you how we pixies do tea parties around here!" You say, floating over a pixie dust-covered teapot made of leaves. Riddle relaxed a little and smiled, giving a firm, yet gentle nod.

"And this is?" "If I tell you won't try it." "Well, I don't think I was going to try it to begin with …" 

You made a mock gasp in response. "Oh how you wound me Azul, here I was inviting you over to teach you some proper pixie cuisine and this is how you respond?" You playfully nudge the greedy octopus who wears a small teasing smile on his lips. You were showing the mer some delicacies and desserts that pixies enjoy for the lounge. "Alright, I guess I'll try it…"

You grab Azul's face, hand under his chin and fingers squishing his cheekss. He blushed at the movment, now forced to look at your handsome face. "Open wide~" You snicker, bringing the fork closer to his mouth to feed him. Azul pulled away from the fork after, out of your hands. His eyes were closed in focus as he chewed on the mysterious substance you fed him.

"Meaty, crispy, yet chewy… surprisingly sweet… a bit floral too. A hint of honey… This is… very good. Did you add some flowers to the herbs you used?" You were always amazed by Azul's taste buds, refined after years of running restaurants and testing dishes. "Right as always, Azzy." You snicker at the small look he gives you.

"Still, I'm completely unsure of what I just ate" "Coconut worms!" Azul's eyes widened. "Coconut worms? Wait, did I just eat-" "Bugs? Yup. We pixies eat a lot of bugs amongst the foliage we can find. Sprites too occasionally. But our main source of protein are bugs! Honey and sugar are also used a lot in our recipes too, beekeeping is a common practice among us." ඞ

"I… ate…" "But it was good though, right?" Azul regained his composure and nodded. "I- yes it was, very good. I've just never eaten insects before, I always assumed they were disgusting, to say the least."

I normally don't talk about Harry Potter because of reasons (mostly JK sucks and I find the books itsselfs to be mediocre at best and deeply problematic at worst) ... But I'll do a concession to mention how legimally funny the AVPM trilogy is. Between Lauren being the best Draco Malfoy to ever Draco Malfoy, Darren Chris amazing voice, everything involving Dumbledore and Voldemorr is soo good and AJ Holmes Gilderoy is a genuine treassure.

It has soo many iconic moments and things like the subplot love story between Scarfy and the Sorting Hat, Voldermot and Quirrell romance, Ron always snacking during the scenes, Pigfarts, Hermione Can't Draw, Gilderoy's Rat Prince monologue!!

The song's are also iconic. My favorite is I'm Just a Sidekick both because is a great characther analysis and because I love Joey Ricther voice and that song is - in my opnion - the moment were he really starts to understand musical tecniques and therefore the first of a series of amazing solo songs.

It's not Starkid's best. Far from it. But it's such an iconic and solid start and I tend to dismiss it for their other works but from times to times I'm recomended clips of it on YT and remember how genuinally great it is.

Different anon: I personally never had an image of "perfection" of the members. They have always said that they only want to share their good sides but I think that's normal. Your writing is capturing, realistic. Your transfer of the characters to reader never leaves question marks in readers head. We gets who they are, how they feel, what they think.

Your sentences like "and 300 glasses raised in air" (it is not the exact sentence, i just remember it like that) from TDS, describe atmospheres of scene with a magical touch. I remember for the first time I read I thought "Wow,amazing."

It is my opinion and I am not expert but I think most of the time your characters and their dynamics fall into trap of being stereotypes.

I don't have any fan kids Oc's but I do have some ideas about kids (written with next gen au's in mind, so for the purposes of this response, they all want kids)

🐉Bloom: I think Bloom was very happy as an only child, Mike and Vanessa supremacy, and would probably want to just remake her childhood for her children. She has thought a lot about two kids however, bc she loves Daphne and likes the idea of her kid having a sibling bc Daphne. She's not completely set on anything

🤴Sky: he'd definitely want two kids. Sky was a very lonely and unhappy child who's parents were distant and cold, especially with Sky being Royal and needing to keep up appreances? Yeah he was isolated as a kid. He really doesn't want his kids to grow up having no one around they can talk freely too, so two kids. Anymore sounds nerve wracking tho

👑Skloom: they end up having two out of worry that being the crown heir to the Domino throne, with connections to Eraylon, would be very isolating in a "everyone wants to use me" kind of way. One of their kids has to be the witch/fairy of the dragon fire, and the other one is probably non-magical/a specialist

🛡️Brandon: Brandon comes off as a family man to me. Just observe how he manages all of his idiots, this man is an amazing babysitter. I think he'd want multiple kids just bc he likes kids, it's not very deep lol

✨Brella: Stella will at least have four kids (her family is slightly larger than Flora's). Many powers ideas; the witch/fairy of the second Sun of Solaria/shining Sun, the witch/fairy of celestial lights, the witch fairy of colors, the witch/fairy of eclipses, and the witch/fairy of the night. Of course they'd have non-magical kids as well

🖋️Helia: has no preference, has no opnion. He'd be perfectly happy childless, as he'd be perfectly happy with a big family. He likes kids, but also likes his space and freedom. He has no stance

🧙‍♀️Mirta: I think she'd want to err on the smaller side, simply because she's anxious as fuck and worried she'd be unable to handle that many kids. But if the kids are spaced out enough her worries would be completely assuaged

🏞️Florelia/Mirora: Flora will always end up with least three kids. Helia is a transman and Mirta is a woman, so I don't think bio kids are in the cards here. Like theoretically with shape shifting and other types of magic it could be possible but I'm imagining that's still a new frontier and Flora wouldn't want to take the risk, especially when she can just adopt. Especially because she (and the rest of her siblings) are adopted. The magical core of a planet affects the way a child's magical core will develop (see me and @/mu5a making headcanons based on eachothers headcanons based on—) so any fairy they happen to adopt will have nature powers if they're from Lymphea. Most of the kids would likely be nonmagical (as magical children are rare) but Flora/Mirta might be able to sense magical children and adopt them so they can be raised in a family that can help them deal with their growing in powers. Ideas include; the fairy/witch of flowers, the fairy/witch of mushrooms, the fairy/witch of growth/life. Ya know. Nature stuff. Lympha

⚔️Riven: I also think he'd want just one kid. Most of his childhood problems stemmed from having parents that didn't give a shit about him, so having one kid to focus on seems like the obvious choice to him. Tho he is a bit worried about having kids, and he and Musa take a lot of parenting classes before he feels comfortable having them. He's always wanted a family, he's also eternally worried he will fuck it up. (He secretly wants more than one, Riven I think would of been family oriented if he had a family he could orient himself around, but hes definitely worried about not being able to handle it. One child would be easier to deal with, so one child is the more senseical choice)

🎙️Rivusa: I think they'd have one fairy child and one witch child in non identical twins. (Yes, I am implying they planned for one kid and ended up with twins) Ideas include; the fairy/witch of waves, the fairy/witch of emotions, or the fairy witch of performance. I like performance and emotions the best, based on that one line form the movie about music hearing the songs in people's hearts and how music often comes with preforming...these kids would be a nightmare to deal with, not for Rivusa who raised them, but like everyone else

⚕️Nabu: much like Aisha he doesn't have a strong opinion. He tends to think a small number like 2ish, because he grew up quite lonely but he isn't settled till they start taking about it and they both settle on one

I have a theory thay any "good" Batman fan has it's on original version of thr characthers on their mind.

That is an introduction to one of my fanom Batman headcannons:

- Since Riddler was a kid he loved gameshows, what lead to him being a frequent whatcher of Arthur Brown's quiz show. He whatched every single episode. And he HATED IT.

- The show sold itself as the hardest quiz around but Ed found it boring, extremely easy and that the biggest dificulty was the bad clues and the lack of inteligence of the contestants. So he decided to send letters to the show adressing his criticism and sugestions.

- The problem is when a child keeps sending letters weakly to a TV show talking about every episode the obvious conclusion is that they are a fan. So even though after Arthur Brown started reading the letters and sending actual responses (more or less after the seventh), all of them were parting of the principle that lil Eddie Nasthon was his biggest fan. He even started keeping some of the letters (young Ed was also really bad at insulting so most of it really could be mistaken for compliments).

- At first Ed was very pleased that they were listening to him and trying to improve. He never had a positive interaction with an adult before so being able to say "you are wrong" and be listening to instead of punished for it was amazing. So he kept sending letters. The fact the they were "too dumb to trully follow his sugestions" keept annoying him tho. The gameshow was only slightly less trash on his opnion.

- But them Arthur started stealing his riddles (because of couse he wrote riddles on the letters) and sometimes even given the wrong answer to them. And it was back to complete fury. Some letters where just backhanded compliments and straight up insults at this point. But Arthur still belived the kid was his No. 1 fan.

- Of course Arthur was fired basically the same day he discovered his wife was pregnant and slowly became a criminal. He still kept some of Edward's letter to remind of the gold old days.

- One day already as Cluemaster he finally made the conection between lil Eddie Nasthon and Edward Nygma and started to talk to everyone - specially everyone who called him a D-lister - that Riddler was a big fan of his gameshow back in the day.

- When Ed discovered that he was pissed. He already hated Cluemaster for being a pretender. So he saw this untrue allegations as slander and more reason to want to kill Arthur.

- Arthur did NOT got the memo as he keeps trying to ask Riddler for a team up.

- The only reason Ed didn't kill him was because he considered it woudn't be revenge enough so everytime Arthur is in Blackgate, Riddler makes an anonimous donation for some corrupt guards to beat him up.

- As Arthur growed to be more annoying and started just appearing in places (was the man stalking him? How?) and acting as if not only they were old friends but as if CLUEMASTER was somehow his MENTOR Ed started helping Stephanie arest him.

- He sometimes pays Cluemaster goons so they will betray him. He pays Oswald so Arthur has to pay extra to drink in the Iceberg or any affiliated club. Arthur somehow remains oblivous.

-Stephanie on the other hand knows it and finds it funny. She also sometimes pretends that the case she is on is related to Cluemaster so Riddler can help her. Most times she doesn't need the help, she just does it for fun. Some rare times the cases are urgent and Babs is busy and Riddler is actually really good at solving crimes so it's a good alternative. At some point he is basically her crazy uncle (tho she is sure that if she ever tells him that he will start to become paranoid that she too belives he hangs out with her dad).
