if you think i am going to care abt mens opinions on lesbianism please consider:
killing yourself is faster and has a more positive effect on society
i have three (3) weed smoking girlfriends to fuck rather than waste time on your essays about how men are oppressed or whatever
yes im a mean nasty bitchy exclusie im sorry that trans men arent magically also lesbians the afab connection is meaningless to me :( sorry for not buying into bioessentialism i guess
if you arent a lesbian you should be embarrassed #skilldiff #gws
in order to comment defending your points in including men in a community of women* who are exclusively attracted to other women* you must first go to my pinned post and open that kofi link and send a minimum of 3 dollars. if u send more than 10 ill even deign to read your essay to make fun of you before blocking and moving on w my day. 😁👍

not to be That Person but y’all have got to learn to be more normal about bisexual and pansexual characters. this isn’t 2012. women romancing astarion is not the problem, nor is karlach “lesbian coded”. the real problem is y’all’s bi/panphobia stemming largely from homophobic stereotypes

😮‍💨 Went out to socialize with some coworkers yesterday. I mention that I'm bi, and then just a minute later that I have a husband.
Coworker (who is a lesbian, for the record, so what follows isnt straight ignorance) that I really do not know: oh, wait, you're married?
Me: ha, yes.
Them: And you're bi?
Me: ...yes?
Them: wow, so like, an open relationship?
Me: ....?????? No?
Them: really?.....so, you're married. In a monogamous relationship? And...you're still bi?
Me: ...................yes? I...still think women are attractive? Like my husband still thinks women are attractive? Getting married didn't change that.
Them: oh, wow, how interesting.

dear lesboy (and tbh any other nuanced identity) exclusionists who think your vein of thought is the majority in queer spaces id like to inform you that today at lunch with my (entirely queer) friend group the topic drifted to me being a butch lesbian and one friend goes "wait i thought you were a guy?" and i said "i am" and another friend interjected "dudes can be lesbians too" and that was that. no further probing about my identity, nohing about how im "invalidating transmen and lesbians", or whatever. everyone just accepted that thats how i identify and i dont owe an explanation for it and moved on. i promise u its not that deep 👍

I think instead of treating somebody's queerness as a right for you to know, people should instead think of somebody's queerness as a privilege to know.
It is a privilege for you to know if somebody is queer - it is by no means a right. It should be treated as such.

It’s the way you can tell most of the lesbian community are full of bi-hets just by how enraged they are by a lesbian saying she’s proud to have never kissed, dated or had sex with a man. Why are you offended by homosexuality? Shouldn’t you be happy for her? Hm..
Also I hate when the fauxbians who have never had sex with a man are like “I just never happened to have sex with a men because no man wanted me lolll I’m a gold star but ashamed to call myself one :((.” Like as very femme young woman who never has done anything even slightly romantic with a men but has had boys ask me to be their girlfriend and even male friends try to ask me for intimacy since a very young age, and has had to put her foot down and firmly say no ever single time, its so weird that they are deliberately erasing gold star’s life experiences to just being “ugly”. If you would have then you are a bisexual. Full stop.

I don't know who needs to read this, but people who are pro Buck and Tommy having a healthy relationship with good representation on screen, whether it goes the distance or not, are not automatically against Eddie having a coming out arc.
Like guys chill the fuck out.
I would argue that 7x05 had too many storylines and felt rushed. I'd honestly rather have fewer stories an Episode and each is given proper time (so they don't skip over shit like Buck and Eddie talking post basket ball, or Chim and Buck talking post punch, or Bobby and Athena talking post ship disaster etc). They actually showed the Karen and Hen talks after the Eva storylines and that's so important and good.
Tommy isn't getting screen time without a main with him so stop pretending he is. He's a background character who is currently there to prop up other people's storylines. It's unlikely he will ever be a main as they already have 7 of them. Can you think if you've ever seen a Karen or a Ravi or a Lucy or a Taylor storyline that wasn't there to really be about one of the mains? No.
I am literally seeing BuckTommy enjoyers having to fucking preface their posts with the fact they obviously ship buddie too just so they don't get abused. It's genuinely disgusting that people are more fixated on their specific (and I would defo class it as fetishistic at this point with the obsession some people have with buddie) ship that they would actively damage other people's enjoyment of the show.
This accusation that people don't care bout buddie anymore because Tommy has kissed Buck and Tommy is white is fucking insane. This fandom regularly accuses anyone who says good things about Buck or Bobby of being racist. Maybe, and hear me out, people are happy that they are getting some bi representation? People who have been pro buddie since 2x01 are getting sent hate because they are happy that a character has come out, despite never turning against buddie.
It's literally normal to be watching a show and be like "yes, I want characters X & Y to end up together but currently they aren't and that's not an issue for me". It's a fictional show.
I want Eddie to get a coming out story line and I would not be upset if it didn't revolve around Buck because 1. Eddie is his own person, and 2. I KNOW that if it did revolve around Buck, you guys would immidiately say it's worthless because it's not an Eddie story but actually a story about the "white boy". Like you literally cannot have it both ways.
You can't beg for coming out story lines and then say "wait that's the wrong person they're kissing." It's a coming out story line. It's literally a gateway to a whole new world of stories in the show.
Chill out, go outside, maybe try to enjoy the show you claim to love instead of shitting on it, the actors and the other fans

I do not think that people understand the genuine problem that has started to crop up in the lgbt+ community when it comes to lesbians. Even in a space that is supposed to be safe and exclusive FOR A REASON, we cannot escape men in any capacity due to the unchecked lesbophobia.
Like, if someone makes a post about any wlw/nblw experience it is constantly derailed in favor of including men and man aligned identities. If we try to take joy in our attraction and how it excludes men, someone will always butt in and try to include men in some way.
No matter what we always have to reassert that no this isn’t inclusive of men, no lesbians are not attracted to men, no lesbians cannot be men, and it is genuinely exhausting. It's so fucked up that in cementing what lesbianism truly is, we have to constantly mention men and our lack of attraction to them!!
Sorry, not sorry, but if you think that m-spec lesbians or bi lesbians are not lesbophobic, you are wrong and you are complicit in infringing on lesbian spaces. You are responsible for the alienation of lesbians from the community.

Annabeth Chase being a lesbian is way more realistic than Percabeth because no person who's attracted to men,be they a woman or nonbinary or a man themself,is upset by being attracted to Percy Jackson.Literally no Percy simp i've met can shut up about how down bad they are for him(and he deserves it)and i actively seek them out because i'm also one.Who the hell who's not a lesbian would be embarrased and angry about being in love with the perfect man. It's fake as hell and also shows that Rick is also not attracted to men.He just dosen't get us so he made all his girls lesbians by accident😔

if i see one more person in this tag mention that hunter and willow is a "straight-passing relationship" when talking about their bi and pansexuality, i will come to your house and remove all the doors from your cabinets
edit: y'all i like the fucking ship, i am complaining about people saying "straight-passing" like that's an appropriate term to use when discussing representation
