There would be some very questionable humor, screaming (and i kinda really miss Hunter's screeches from the second season. He was GREAT while raising his voice, no matter what anybody can say about it being annoying), grotesque episode scenarios, cool uniforms and much else!

something i find interesting is how dirk alludes to alpha rose having some access to her powers as a seer of light and it makes me wonder if the other guardians had some control over their god tier powers especially the beta ones

the only real argument i could make for that would be mom lalondes ability to sneak around the house being kind of void adjacent and bro essentially being possessed by a puppet in kind of a reverse prince of heart power situation with the whole soul destroying thing.

grandpa harley is like… full of allusions to hope powers especially with the taxidermy ghost thing and the luck of escaping the batterwitch and inheriting the company but as far as actually using those powers as a page idk?

nanna egbert being the only one of the guardians that gets reborn as a sprite is kind of life adjacent but feels like a reach. although i do find it interesting that she’s told by the baroness that her destiny is to produce a pair of children who will save the world, and specifically the words “produce” (produce life!) are used instead of “raise” (guardianship?). i know this is much more likely just an allusion to how her paradox slime being used to “produce” but i also kind of like this as a reading that her becoming a kernalsprite is part of the process to producing children who can save the world by ensuring the beta session.

this could also conceivably just be a rose exclusive thing because she was communing with the occult lmao
