For the ask game: What's your writing process like? I ask knowing you research a lot, and wanting to hear more abt everything bc you really can WRITE!!!

I'm actually going back to sleep in a bit so this is written on my phone. (Slept at near 6am and woke up near 10am today).. i'll prolly just rb w a detailed answer but this kinda got me in my thoughts. Diddndjfj

Tbh with a lot of my earlier stuff (wow earlier?), i really went with emotions, stuff i wanted the reader to feel? Probably why everything felt emotionally charged.

Also like what we said, research. Even the little things, i'd google just to get a better understanding of the world i'm writing. The fics are in the same universe as us but these fics are written in a manner where reader knows atz (duh) so there are things as the reader we dont know but in these fics (technically) we should know. Ngl even searching up "how long would a flight from point a to point b be?" Helps. You dont have to mention the flight duration in the fic but knowing it changes the vibe ig? It's like... you can tell already in how it was written type. It's like, if you irl know how long a trip will be you'd be calm for the entire duration, maybe bored, you can be on your phone to kill time etc If you don't, youre restless, curious and just confused cause why is it taking so long/short to get there? Should you sleep on the way? Ye

My Mingi wip is based on a youtube series of blind dates.. but bec i want it to be fluffy and cheesy 🤢 as heck i watched the videos that have the same vibe and ending. But its on the back burner bec,,,,

The seonghwa fic im writing rn (see: why i slept at 6am), made me open several tabs about: a park in spain, a monument in that said park, bible stuff (hey so i found out about the whole edom/eden thing and im atill ?!?!?! By it all. S/o @yeocult and @yeochikin for bearing w me), and my academic readings about the architecture in that said park. My mind just goes everywhere and notices things. Even the smallest things from a location i have in mind i would search it up. Also it's a bit of a funny power trip to write something not everyone knows what's going on until you give it to them either bit by bit or in one massive truth bomb.

Theres some reqs sitting in my inbox rn and i promise i'll get to them but from the top of my head i'd say i take into account stories from my friends who have worked in those fields, social issues that can arise, my own stupidity in life, stories from friends, etc. Idk where i'm going w this (4 hrs of sleep!).

Oh + bullet point guide on what i'm trying to get across for a fic. I dont follow it to a t but when my mind gets ideas w not much details yet i just put them in bulletpoints. I can fix them when i write anyways.

But if it's like timestamps and shorter stuff, impulse. pure impulse and me being just being an overthinker w music playing in the bg.
