Based on a request: Do you think you could write some hcs (for 141 guys and konig ofc hes my fav<3) where the reader has really long hair?.Just for some inspo: I'm thinking ghosts love language entails him helping brush, wash, care for his s/o hair. And Johnny and konig love playing with their s/o hair, braiding it, learning how to do hairstyles etc...thank you🩷💖

A/N: as soon as I read the request, I thought of Rapunzel when in tangled she gets her hair done by the little girls lol

Price:

This man grew up with only brothers, but he was more of the kinder one, so when it came to you and your long hair, he watched tutorials on how to braid and care for hair.

It was new to him, he hadn't done this, like ever.

But, when he came home after a long and stressful day, he would go to you. Who was already in the couch waiting for him.

He couldn't talk, it was as if his voice had just given out. So what does he do? starts running his fingers through your hair.

Which calms both of you, he someway, somehow fell asleep. And it was definitely the best he's had so far.

So, this become a thing, you dont ask questions and neither does he.

All you do is wait by the couch or in bed and he drops everything and combs through your hair, slowly drifting into sleep.

I like to think he asks Kate and her wife on how to do a pony tail, and although he tries, he gets so frustrated, he ends up giving up.

Gaz:

I whole heartedly believe he grew up with sisters, with that said, he knows how to braid your hair.

I am talking a master at braids, when he isn't in the mood for too much, he brushes your hair, and when he just needs to relax in a warm bath, he drags you in and washes your hair.

There was one time where you were sick, and he knows that if you stay in bed for longer, you won't feel better, so...he washes your hair, putting all the right products in, massaging your scalp and overall being such husband material.

Lots of kisses for sure, he makes sure you get at least 10 kisses per day. And as he brushes your hair, he kisses your forehead.

He even asks his sisters what kind of oils he can use on your hair type to help it grow healthy and strong.

At times when he does come home super late and he is very tired, all he does is crawl into bed and cuddle you, but best believe he is brushing your hair slowly and delicately.

Like Price, it soothes him to brush your hair, makes him sleepy and all. Thats why when he cant sleep, he brushes your hair with his hands.

Soap:

This man also grew up in an all women household and I will not be told otherwise. So, when you and him start dating, and you let your hair down more often, he likes to sits down by the porch and to braids on you.

One time, mainly because his niece made him watch Tangled, he places flowers on your freshly done braid. He even took pictures of you, and best believe that picture is now carried everywhere he goes. I am talking wallet, vest pocket, phone wallpaper, and has drawn it on a lot of sketch books.

He also loves messing with you, and because you trust him so much with your hair, he gives you a literal unicorn horn, which makes you two cry so hard from laughing.

He also drew that in a sketch book. When his nieces are around, he brags on his skills. And to demonstrate he is good at doing hair, he makes you sit on a pillow on the floor as he does your hair.

Messy buns are a no at times, because he loves to see you in his hair dos.

There was one time where you were so drunk but it was the same day you had to wash your hair that he did it for you. There was a mess everywhere, but he did the job and there is definitely no complaining.

Ghost:

This man is awkward and sometimes weirded out by physical touch, so to make you feel better he started to follow influencers that taught him about the importance of hair care.

He tries so hard at times, but it's the intention that matters. One night, while you were sad, brushed your hair and hummed a tune.

And slowly he realizes this could be his way of showing his affection towards you, so he does it everyday now.

When you wake up, there he is , waiting to comb your hair. At night after a shower, he is waiting by the bed to comb your hair and listen to what you did all day.

After deployments when he comes tired, he lays on the couch and you lay on top of him, he, like price and gaz, falls asleep as he combs through your hair.

Your hair at times is untamable, which bothers him, but it teaches him patience, so he goes for the long run and slowly but surely does your hair justice.

At times when you two, have rough sex, he gets mad at himself for making your hair a mess. But not to worry, that one of his ways of aftercare is to comb your hair.

König:

We all know this man is a gentle giant, it's a fact at this point. Anyways, his love language is physical contact, so when there are days you don't feel like hugging or just being touched in the slightest by him (rarely happens im sure) he combs your hair.

I also like to believe he is the only child, so like the golden retriever energy kind of man he is, he adores when he can do other activities with you, like your hair.

Before him, it was a mess, you'd wake up, comb it and give yourself split ends and now, it's so smooth and nice and puffy, it's just so perfect.

I know for sure at night when he can't sleep he is watching YouTube tutorials for different kinds of hairstyles.

One time he ran out of hair gel because for a whole week all he did was try weird and definitely funny hair do's.

Best believe like Ghost, after a night of fun, his form of aftercare includes him coming your hair.

He reads on how braiding your hair can help it grow, so, everynight since he braids your hair and makes sure it's not pulling your hair, just so you can get a nights rest.

If you use a bonnet, this man will literally learn why that is and also ask around with his female comrades.

I have like crazy brain rot rn and need to get these thoughts out of my mind…

General

Probably around 6’2, I like to think I’m reasonable about average heights but all the characters I like to write I imagine as Giant

Other than that for appearance I see him as pretty much what he looks like in marble hornets (I think most do..) Cutie Patootie

Most certainly has some substance abuse problems. He’s working on it.. ish.

He’s not exactly quick to anger, but definitely quick to feel betrayed

Jumps to conclusions like a madman…

He has a bunch of unresolved traumas and like… definitely not all there because how can you be when you do what he does

I don’t think he’s mean but definitely guarded and will take time to get friendly. Even longer to be vulnerable

That ties into how he’s like Silent. Very rarely talks out loud to the other proxies/creeps

where do you get the money to make your cosplays?? i'm in the middle of crafting a bunch of stuff for a plant convention and gyatt damn everythings so pricey

along with the storage ive been getting this one a bunch too haha

to tell true, this is no fault on your part so no frets here at all !!! BUT i'm not comfortable discussing my personal finances online. because on a wide scale, anything in regards to money gets incredibly niche to a person's circumstances and will make people get upset/can leave you vulnerable to a lot of bad things. My pay scale and spending habits are not something i'm hip to sharing online since its really private and opens a lot of dangerous doors. (also my spending habits are not exactly healthy or generalizable either.) I'm not saying this to like...dodge being a secret billionaire or anything, but even if i say "i work a STEM job" I've had people get weird about even just that information.

That being said, there are ways i make cosplay more affordable.

usually in-store fabric shopping at say joanns, is just about as expensive as it gets. if you have to shop only at joanns, michaels, etc the bill racks up fast. There are some in-store fabric shops that are cheaper, especially if they are wholesalers or general fabric warehouses, but those are not easy to find outside of cities most often. Joanns does have good coupons, and i can only shop at joanns these days if i have a coupon or there's a sale on that fabric type i'm interested in!

online wholesale fabric shops are a good way to find fabrics that are at lower prices, but then it does incur extra shipping costs. because of that i try to limit the number of orders I make (more orders, more extra shipping). this looks like grouping orders between projects, or even compromising on fabric types based on the stock of one website so i dont have to split an order between two sites.

sometimes you really do have to sacrifice material type. theres been a number of projects this year that i wanted to make out of a nicer type of fabric, even Thistle for example i considered making out of a dupioni, but it was just too dang expensive. dupioni would be around $25 a yard...vs poly suede which is $6. or even a cheaper satin at $3 a yard is a common sub i use as well. I also very frequently have to throw out entire cosplay ideas just based on cost since its just not feasible no matter how many compromises i make.

reduce the burden by extending your timeline. unfortunately theres no way around it, most projects i make are $200-300, and thats....fairly low in the grand scheme of things for crafting-focused cosplayers on mid sized projects. but either way, dropping all of that at once in one place is a huge blow to the wallet. but if you break up that whole $200 cost into say...$20 chunks from one week to the next, its softer. if you cant or dont want to reduce your budget, expanding your timeline is a good solution. now granted, that does cause a problem with the whole "less orders means less shipping costs" but the weighing of those two scenarios has to be done person to person/project to project.

STOCKING UP....when there are sales or other things, building a horde can be a great move. like silverbell didnt actually show up much on my finances this month because all the fabric i used on his suit was storage fabric. so it was ""free"" to me this month, because i already bought it.....3 years ago...and that money isnt real anymore haha.

this is really regional and depends on where you are, but thrift stores can have material sections that have good fabrics as well as sheets/blankets/base garments etc. ive been weirdly lucky with finding great fabrics at thrift stores...like literal joanns fabric for half the cost there, but thats super SUPER hit or miss and not something i rely on, but i do check that section whenever i'm there

#i dont usually like to talk money bc not only can it get dicey safety wise but also theres no quick way to talk about it haha #BUT THIS IS WHAT I GOT....#i have to change my plans or cancel them outright due to money a lot

His entire social media page is pictures of you, random ass scenery and your art work. Every time you finish a piece hes practically running to go take a picture of it. Hes so proud and it shows.

Honestly didnt care for the art at first until one day you doddled him or his favorite bug or something on a random piece of paper you found and now he adores your art. He doesent show it but he goes over the moon when you ask him what to draw

Hes really edgy about it. Everytime he sees you painting hes just like. "The jet black on the tip of your brush is represents my darkness tainting you, who is the pure white canvas..." or smthn and your just like "actually the background is just black on this one..." please let him be poetic.

Kendo -

Loves seeing the finished product but she loves it more if you show her the ugly stage first so she can see how much changed! She just loves watching your process and how each piece changes over time

Kodai -

She has a few pictures youve drawn hanging in her room but other than that shes not very interested in the actual process. She does like going shopping for supplies with you tho.

Komori -

The two of you make 3d art pieces together. You paint a painting and she grows mushrooms on the sides of it or on the canvas itself to make it look like pop up art <3

Shiozaki -

"$100 to paint jesus" she loves your art! If you ask her for suggestions theyre all gonna be either religion related or scenery because thats just what she likes the most. Shes also one of your biggest supporters!

Shishida -

He loves your art and he makes sure your at your best when painting! Thirsty? He'll make some tea or get you a glass of water. Hungry? Hes already making a sandwich. If youre about to accidentally drink your paint water he will point it out to you before you can.

Shoda -

Hes not one for art but he likes to help any way he can! If you ran out of a specific color he will go right to the store for you. Hes also getting your favorite drink while hes there just so you dont get thirsty!

Pony -

Theres two wolfs inside of her. One is saying to keep all of your amazing art forever. And the other says to watch people bid for it on e bay (with your permission) and sell it to the highest bid. No matter what she is always supportive of your art!

Tsubaraba -

Hes known to be a bit of a perv so if you do nsfw commissions, his wallet will always be empty.. even if you dont though he adores your art! There is no more room in his room for your works.

Tetsutetsu -

Has probably accidentally messed up some setting paint on a canvas and then grabbed a brush to try and fix it.... only making it worse. Poor dude almost cried when you caught him ngl. His life savings is going towards art supplies as an apology!

Tokage -

You two tag team every painting. Youre coming up with ideas while shes looking for good references. You say youll need some pink in a minute and shes already mixing it. Need paintwater cleaned or a pencil sharpened? Shes already doing it.

Manga -

You know that art challenge where you and a friend switch paintings every 10 minutes until your done painting, he LOVES doing those. He also just enjoys both of you silently drawing in the same room as eachother. The class fridge is full of you twos drawings.

Honenuki -

Anything that has your drawings on it he loves! Once you gave him a sticky note with a quick 15 minute drawing on it and he carries it with him EVERYWHERE! One of the pockets of his hero costume is that sticky notes dedicated pocket! After each drawing he will message your hand to stop any injurys from forming <3

Bondo -

Like Shishida, he just makes sure youre taking care of yourself while drawing or painting. What good is an amazing artist if your sick and cant draw.

Monoma -

"I could totally do that.." then you hand him the brush and suddenly he shuts up. Will talk shit about how easy art would be for him if he tried but he would fight anyone else that said it.

Reiko -

She coaxed you into drawing a creepy ghost once and she used her quirk to make it float and chase people around the dorms in the middle of the night. She now keeps that same painting on her wall <3

Rin -

I really like the idea of using his scales for textures idk why. Like imagine you just drag him away from whatever hes doing, you ask him to cover his arm in scales and you just start painting him yellow. He loves helping tho and if you ran out of room to store things in your room his dorm is always open!

When I was writing this I got a random flash back to me selling nsfw drawings to highschool students when I was in 5th grade. I dont remember what I charged but I ended up with about 2k by the end of the school year. :>

as draining as it was, you always found each day filled with classes to be somewhat rewarding at the end of the day, even if said reward was knowing it was your last class before the weekend. as you unlocked the door to your apartment, all you could think of was spending the next two days ignoring the pile of homework and assignments you have to work on. you made a beeline straight for your sofa as you toss your bag onto your kitchen table. you relax for 30 seconds, eyes closed, soaking in the artificial light from the lamp plugged in next to you. that is, until the trill of your phone ringing snaps you out of your trance. you pick it up, not bothering to open your eyes.

“hey,” you said, sounding more tired than expected. the voice on the other side sounded slightly more awake than you did. “are you done with your last class? if so what are you doing right now?” all the questions were enough to wake you up from your daze.

“i just walked in the door like 2 minutes ago, and i am actually free!” it was rare that yours and vernon’s schedules matched up. between his promotions and practicing, and your university lectures and assignments, it was proven difficult to find time to spend with eachother. thats why whenever possible, you would both be open to doing the most mundane of things together. whether it be running errands or just watching some random netflix show and eating popcorn. you both found comfort in the relaxed nature of it all. it was very you.

“wanna go get coffee?” he said, already expecting a yes. and of course, he got the answer he expected. “of course i do, and im buying this time! you paid for mine last time, now its my turn.” your smile could be heard through your voice. “fine, but im ordering the cheapest thing on the menu!” you rolled your eyes. vernon was always adamant on people not spending money on him, but you always evaded that rule whenever you could.

you groaned sarcastically, making vernon chuckle. “alright, im on my way now, be ready or else im never taking you anywhere ever again.” you giggled as you stood up, throwing your jacket back over your shoulders. “you’d never last a week without me.” you said tauntingly. vernon couldnt help but smile. your friendship had always been like this, constant teasing and sarcasm. “shut up, get ready. he said, trying to suppress the smile growing on his face. “i will, see you soooon.” vernon mumbled a bye as he hung up the phone and you grabbed your phone and your wallet from your bag.

you slid into the passenger seat of vernons car and brushed the snow off of your jacket. “god, was anyone expecting this storm? its crazy out here.” vernon laughed at how shocked you were that it was snowing in the middle of january. “apparently its supposed to get worse, but i wont let that get in between us seeing each other for the first time in a week.” he smiled over at you as he put the car in drive and left the parking lot of your apartment complex. you looked over at him and the small smile he has on his face whenever you look at him. he always looks so content in your presence, as you feel the same in his. you watched him maneuver around the roads, mesmerized by his actions. he soon spoke, breaking you out of your daydream.

“oh, i have to stop by the practice room really quick, is that okay?” you nodded. “im just tagging along, i dont care where we end up.” you said with a smile. vernon pulled into the parking lot of the building and opened his door, stepping out into the snow. he watched as you got out of his car and screwed up your nose at the fluffy flakes falling all around you, slowly getting more and more heavy as the snow piled in the streets and lots around you.

you followed vernon into the elevator as he pressed the button leading up to the floor of seventeen’s practice rooms. you had been there a couple times, just for visits or bringing them snacks and drinks for motivation. the elevator ride was quiet. it was a comfortable silence, the low hum of the elevator music filling the air as you and vernon basked in each others company. the elevator beeped as the doors opened and you both walked down the hallway leading to their practice room. it was growing late, and the worsening weather outside caused the building to be somewhat of a ghost town. usually bustling with people working and hanging out, it was quiet and tranquil. you reached the end of the hallway as vernon used his keycard to unlock the door.

with a beep from the keycard scanner, vernon opened the door and you followed behind him as he walked into the large open room. he walked towards the cabinet where they put all of their personal items as they practice and pulled out a navy blue hoodie and a black beanie. he held them in his arms as he spun around to face you. “ready to go?” he said, walking towards the door. you hesitate before speaking up. “maybe we can stay here for a bit? wait for the storm to die down a little.” vernon quirked an eyebrow before shrugging. “sounds like a plan. come sit.” he walked to the corner of the room, where two black beanbags sat next to each other. as you both sat down, vernon gasped and jumped back up and half-ran to the other side of the room, where the entertainment system was. you laughed to yourself at his urgency. after a second, vernons playlist was playing quietly through the speakers around the room. he smiled as we walked back over to where you sat, fondly admiring his every move.

you and vernon had sat in the practice room talking for over an hour. you had both honestly lost track of time. he checked the time, 10:27pm. you both quickly realized that your usual cafe had closed half an hour ago. he sighed, apologizing to you for not being able to get coffee like he had planned. “vern, i dont care what we do, as long as we get to catch up.” he scrolled on his phone, eyebrows furrowed, not replying to what you had said. you could tell he was trying to figure something out. you leaned towards him, furrowing your own eyebrows as well. “whats wrong?” he looked up at you as he turned his phone to show you an article stating that all roads in your area had closed due to the force of the storm. your jaw dropped as you made eye contact with vernon, and you both started laughing at the irony of it all. you dont see each other for over a week, and suddenly you’ll be stuck together for the foreseeable future.

you woke up with one of vernons arms lazily draped across your hip, and your legs intertwined together as an attempt to create the illusion of the beanbag you slept on having more room than it does. judging by his slow breaths and steady heartbeat, he was still asleep. there were no windows in their performance room, so you had to crane your neck to locate the clock on the wall and find out how early or late you woke up. 9:03am. it was still early enough to let vernon sleep instead of disturbing his peace. you turned your head back to his sleeping figure. the light snores coming from him would annoy anyone else, but to you they were endearing. everything about vernon was this way to you. everything he did was perfect. you adored vernon, but had never seen him as anything other than a friend. as you lay here, limbs connected and the fading scent of his cologne lingering around you, you wonder if you had ever seen him as just a friend. what if you had been repressing the feelings you had? what if seeing him like this, so peaceful and vulnerable, had awakened something? what if-

your train of thought was brought to an end when an arm squeezed around your waist and a face was buried into your neck. you smiled a wide smile. “good morning sleepyhead.” you ran a hand through vernons messy hair as he groaned a “morning” into your skin. you sat like that for a minute, even closer to each other, until he leaned back and rubbed his eyes. “what time is it?” he said, his voice deep and laced with sleep. “its 9 oclock.” you couldnt help but smile at him. you rarely saw vernon early in the morning, only on times when you both made all day plans instead of impromptu ones. he yawned as he asked, “have you seen if the roads have opened yet?” you shook your head. “i couldnt reach my phone, its over on the shelf and you looked too comfy, i didnt want to disturb you.” the tips of his ears turned pink as he rolled over slightly and stretched to reach his phone. he rested his phone on your hip as he tried to find an update. you let your head fall to the pillow again, lightly closing your eyes as vernon scrolled through news sites.

“oh, it looks like theyre back open!” vernon said, slowly waking up, “you ready to go?” you didnt bother to open your eyes, just shook your head. “lets stay here a little longer. this beanbag is comfier than i thought.” you smiled as you heard his phone hit the table and his arm returned to its previous place around your hip. vernon pulled you closer, not saying another word.

Oh. I'll be vague cause my reasons are personal, and I don't want to share a lot about em.... My old coords just hold a lot of different feelings & I stopped for awhile after a relationship I was in ended. After my relationship ended, lolita fashion became a little less fun for me. & affordability for coords but also going to local (ish) meetups became harder. (My local meetups were a couple hours away, and I was landlocked, so trying to get to them, I'd be looking at a hotel stay or attempting to try to catch a 9pm ferry. Which wasn't ideal / wasn't going to happen. >.<;') You make sacrifices sometimes, and I found for me it was easier to pull away rather than be sad or anger I couldn't participate as much as I would've wanted too. :3 & I also became a bit uncomfortable, so I just ended up tucking those old dresses away. (eventually gifting them, which in the end felt the best. I was able to gift em to people who I believe would've enjoyed them.) & my mental health started to sink a lot, so my focuses shifted and I spent more energy on that and also trying to find hobbies I could enjoy locally that didn't require big travel accommodations. I do know I wore a bit of j-fashion after I met my current bf from time to time. I also like other sub-fashions and that's sorta one of the other things. = ^ - ^ = I enjoy way to much and well, my wallet can't accommodate that all. LOL (Like I like dolly kei/ natural kei / mori kei, I also really like girly kei and the subtypes. But I also really enjoy/love renfaire clothes, like corsets, the really puffy skirts, and I wanna get some more rennie clothes cause I went to my first renfaire last year and I had fun. LOL! So thats also on my list, actually rennie clothes are something I wanna work on making and diy'ing. XD its just more... I gotta figure out a time to go the the fabric store that isn't sunday, cause they aren't open on sundays. and I require patterns. LOL I'm also still really into vintage fashion, although I haven't found a good thrift shop yet for that locally. But I like vintage dresses. I also enjoy a lot of "normie" clothes too. & That all stacks up in cost. I'm also sorta at the point were I like more baggy clothes for comfort reasons, I also like my clothing to be multipurpose. Like baggy shirts I can wear all year around, or even when i'm gardening or going for a stroll, lolita I couldn't wear doing gardening or any dirty work. >.> I'd be fussing over it. "Oh no! What a day, week, month, year - and we are not even 2 weeks into January.

// mom is back on chemo, she gets an infusion every 3 weeks and a pill daily. As far as treatment plans, this one isn’t horrible, it does seem to be cumulative with chemo, and farther into the program it takes more and more out of her, becomes more draining.

We are at the point where we are just buying as much time as we can, the treatment options available, aren’t curative, just prolonging - trying to make peace with that is hard. It’s just hard letting go.

// my dad. Where to begin. We were told before Christmas he would be on surveillance therapy as he was doing so well. Then at his CT scan last week they saw extensive changes in his lungs and believe it to be lung cancer. We go in tomorrow for a PET scan and for a biopsy. It’s just the worst possible scenario, and completely floored us.

I keep thinking, nothing else can go wrong you know? Surely nothing else can be added to our plates, and then the universe says, ‘wanna bet?!’

My mom has been an absolute basket case. With all of her chemo and treatments, she just isn’t the same person as she was going into all of this. Chemo changes your brain chemistry and she’s not able to cope - though I will say we have had more on our plate than most and that’s not surprising at this point.

// my boss told me to not stress, that this past year has been a nightmare for my family and that I don’t need to add worrying about my job on top of that. Yet again, I was looking to change positions, and I gotta say, I don’t think above stated universe wants me too. I’m over aspects of my work, I’m good at it though and moving along isn’t going to work right now. I need something stable as everything else just isn’t right now.

// c and I are good. We have a few projects we are working on - house and yard. It’s been a mad dash to get quotes to fix our back retaining wall patio over the river. The foundation cracked with this last freeze and the costs coming in are steep. Home owners insurance has been completely unhelpful, not that I’m surprised really, just would like to catch a flipping break here y’all.

//kids are back at school/daycare. Doing well. C is wanting to change schools, and that’s stressful. He doesn’t feel where we have Jamis is where he needs to be, and frankly adding more upheaval to my plate is beyond me at this point. His teacher is a bit flakey this year - J loves her, she just doesn’t communicate very well. Sometimes she sends an email, sometimes she sends notes in their bag, sometimes it’s on a school app. One week it’ll be Sunday night, the next week Tuesday, and it’s the weekly learning plan/homework, which makes it a struggle without any consistency. Ls teacher, and reminder she’s in pre pre k, sends more ‘homework’ than what my second grader is doing.

Then I get a message from her daycare that they once more don’t have her immunization records. This happens every 6 months. Literally. As I was dropping L this morning, they gave me a handout saying she doesn’t have records since 2020. I’ve updated them so many times and at each pediatrician appointment, I update and provide them a copy. I told the director this morning that I think they have put her records in someone else’s folder or have thrown out the wrong shot sheet because I just did this in October, and last January and the January before that. Each time it’s an ‘urgent matter’ because we are delinquent, and it’s so ridiculous.

Then I felt bad, because I know they have a ton of kids and they are doing their best and I should have just said ‘no problem’ and given her an updated copy (that I keep in my wallet for this purpose), it just was the last straw.

// I’m back in yoga. Found a quaint studio near me that is Uber hippie and I love that shit. Give me all the mood lighting and sage burning and chanting please and thank you. Distract my mind. Chill me out. Do all the things.

Thats a brief recap. Also, noticed tumblr updated something and the posts I see aren’t chronological anymore? Trying to weed through has been a pain. Hope I haven’t missed anything big.

Me and the Pita Man are on a first name basis now

My review of today is I'm sooooo sleepy. Before work I played all of the new FF16 songs in Theatrhythm and without context I was thoroughly whelmed. They are good, I do not feel strongly. But I was glad to be playing Theatrhythm again its been a minute

Then I went to the Pita Man's Pita Hut. That isnt what its called but I'm so sleepy. He got a new card reader which rules for him but I missed the tip screen cuz I'm used to him handing me a receipt to sign so I had to try to find paper money in my wallet to give him even though he said it was fine. I've been going there for a long time and he's never let me down, I love that guy. Then as I was leaving he asked my name and then I asked his and our names are like two letters off. It was a good start to the day

But then it got BA- no it was fine. I had to go into the cleanroom again and ran into some trouble which was rough cuz I'm still very tired and dizzy but it wasnt a big deal. I thought about how much time I spend in there doing the job that a machine could do in like a 100th of the time it takes me all because my boss is too cheap to pay for fast delivery, but I get to just listen to music the whole time so its not that bad. I'm gonna be in Pinegrove's top 3% of listeners on spotify this year

Then we had a situation in the Barony community discord where some guy joined and started spamming racist memes and zoophilia and gore and stuff, which I always forget people still do, and I hurt my own brain trying to understand the motivation. Theres a type of person who spends real effort and significant time in their day just making the world worse, and theyre proud of it and I just dont understand how a person becomes like that. Or even to a lesser extent theres another person in there who just jumps between chats acting disinterested in what people are saying and calling them stupid, and when I asked them what their deal was today they were like its funny to annoy people. I was like brother it isn't annoying its just confusing lol. Like you could be cranking your hog or learning to tie knots right now but you're in a server for a game I assume you dont play replying "ok" to everything we say. What is the motivation, what do they gain

I think its one of those things where the scariest answer is "nothing" but thats likely what we're looking at. I just wish there were a way to like appear beside them irl and be like what are you doing man, to remind them that other humans are physically real and that my big bag of rocks I brought with me is also real

I know you the reader understands this but like just try to make the world a better place because you were in it. Leave things better than you found them. Nihilism be damned, I'll tellin you that things do matter, and its important to care about stuff. Irony poisoning is a real disease affecting our youth

With my last stay at the hospital, coupled with family experiences I suggest:

1: Pack a clothing/essentials bag and a fun bag. Leave them with the person who will be meeting you when you wake up. This way your belongings aren't left unsupervised. Make sure you bring:

Baby wipes- Not all hospitals provide wipes to clean up. These are a godsend for quick easy hygiene.

Snacks- Hospital snacks are $$$ Bring high impact snacks in case they can't cater to your diet/appetite. If you can eat any foods, I suggest granola bars, dried fruit, Nutribar style foods. It doesn't have to be healthy it just needs to have you eating and feeling full. Comfort snacks are good too. Anything you might enjoy munching on. Apples if you like Fresher food options

Drinks- Juice squirts, they encourage you to drink more than just plain water

Hairbrush/dry shampoo- your hair will feel gross and I've never heard of a hospital that provides real baths

Toothbrush, toothpaste, mouth wash, floss picks, and mint gum (Last two in case you can't move around much. Hospital food likes to get stuck in teeth)

Any medications you take regularly. Inform the nurses of the medication but try not to hand it over. Not all hospitals are good at giving you your meds. Not just at the right time but at all

Instant coffee/tea (If you drink coffee, they'll usually provide hot water)

Wallet

Notebook and pen for taking notes while groggy

List of medications

List of allergens

List of health issues

(Last three you'll be presenting to A LOT of medical personnel. Saves a lot of time)

Clothes:

clothing- Two pairs of underwear for each day, covers for emergencies as well as helping hygiene if you can't bathe regularly

Sweater- Sometimes hospitals are too hot, usually too cold.

Baggy shirt/nightie- A comfy shirt, usually one per 2 days

Shorts- Doesn't matter the season, shorts are often allowed if you're supposed to wear the hospital robe. Usually a pair of shorts is good for 3 days if you're doing nothing

Pyjamas- If you get cold, bring warm pyjama pants for sleeping.

Socks- Even if you're not a socks person, your feet will be cold. Socks with grippies are safer on the hospital floors. Slippers are good if your shoes aren't slip ons. I personally slept with fuzzy socks. I hate socks.

2: Fun bag

The fun bag is the stuff you'll be keeping on your bed for amusement while recovering. You can put items from the essential bag in the fun bag as preferred. I just separated them as I like to. I like to keep the fun bag as small as possible so I can keep it with me for safety. After waking up, the wallet goes in the fun bag. My fun bag is actually a travel pillow thats also a backpack, so I can disguise it and keep it close as a bonus pillow. Things to include

Computer and charger

Tablet, pen, back up pen, charger (Optional)

Phone and charger

Rechargeable battery and charger to plug phone into (In case you can't easily access a plug in)

Art book, mechanical pencil, eraser, pen (Optional on person)

Reading books (Optional on person)

Bag of candies (Offer to nurses with a smile. Bribing will get you better service when it's possible, and can cheer up burnt out staff. Especially offer to unpleasant staff with the line "You seem to be stressed, here, hope this helps")

3: General tips

If you have the option to bring a blanket, do it. Hospital blankets suck

If you have specific pillow needs, bring it. Hospital pillows suck

If the staff are obviously stressed and busy and overworked, try to be polite and understanding as possible, especially if someone is straight up being a dick. When the dick staff is gone, ask another staff member if that person is okay. Try to sound genuine. Lines like "They did x (Basically what they did to be unpleasant) and I found it upsetting, are they doing alright?" If they're stressed or struggling I understand, but If they're just an unpleasant person I'm " This will bring up the topic of how they're treating patients, while providing the disclaimer of being concerned for them. It'll likely get them a concerned talk that will remind them of their presence instead of getting a complaint. Then, if they're still a dick, you wont feel guilty if you need to make a real complaint.

Be understanding that medical staff are often burnt out, but also don't take crap. If you aren't certain, run the situation past someone you trust. You're going to be stuck with these people for awhile, showing respect and kindness will always get you better treatment, but some people are genuinely dicks.

If someone is extremely nice, ask them for their name and WRITE IT DOWN. Ask if there are customer review cards/quizzes. Angry patients will give a review more often than a patient with a good experience. Good reviews are not only helpful to other patients, but can net a worker recognition and even prizes or consideration for promotions they qualify for but need the extra support to win over other qualified candidates. Seriously, good reviews and telling higher ups about how good a staff member has done can be HUGE for someone.

Have an advocate. If you're like me and turn into a doormat when you're tired and hurting and groggy, ask someone you know will fight for you to help you talk to staff and be there as a witness so you don't get rolled over. Oftentimes medical care can become a "Get through as many patients as quickly as possible" deal. Not all hospitals and staff are equal. You need to gauge the quality of care you are getting. If they are trying to move quickly and efficiently, they may be glossing over potential issues to get things done.

Is there a piece of clothing that you have always dreamt of having? Designer, unique thing you saw online or dreamt clothing piece just something you would kill to have.

there are WAY too many honestly considering this is all just pics of clothes i save (to draw but also bc i really love them) but i'll pick just a few for now

(also sry its like 2 am and these have been downloaded over the years but a good bit of them are probably in my fashion tag so i may go back through and link them)

1. this top n choker are SUPER cute to me i just dont like to be in dresses too often but like. i think id look super cute n comfy in this. i have access to a sewing machine now and i want to find a pattern similar enough to this shirt or learn how to draw my own out to make it. (maybe make some little bloomer shorts as well bc i dont like feeling like my ass is out in dresses)

2. i wouldnt know where to find this hoodie or if its even commercially available so im like determined to make it myself. really showing my love for oversized clothes also but how could you say no to the laced up angel wings on the backkkk like cmon

3. i wear a lot od reds n love the blood drip look of the coat n honestly the whole ensemble im just not rocking w/ the flame wallet bc i feel like it messes it up but thats w/e. i want to look like i just climbed out of a pool of blood on the size of the street

4. IVE WANTED TO PUT THIS FIT TOGETHER FOREVERERRRRRR!! lil nas x did this and its such a good look! i think id want it in lavender or a different color tho just bc i like lavender more than hot pink.

idk shes pretty strictly butchy so no dresses or anything like that. also like. tshirt of whatever band/musician she is most a hater of. its THAT serious.

I think she Also has some but i Also dont know what they are. Probably something generically emo like a star or angel wings or swallows or something. Or god forbid song lyrics.

Depends on the situation but I think wallet and like. glasses are the bare minimum. Doesn't really carry anything interesting around. OH and her flip phone and mp3 player :3

Not particularly willing bcz its hot and sunny as fuck out 90% of the time but i think she'd be fine with it if it came down to it and if it was somewhere she felt safeish. Not unfamiliar with sleeping in strange places as someone known to Couch Surf, but is more likely to do it indoors somewhere like the library or the lounge at the college she's technically enrolled in.

Concerts ofc. Could argue that this doesnt count as a social event but it is for Her. The shittier the venue and the longer the sets the better.

Aforementioned shitty venues primarily. But she also likes hanging out with her friends (that i prommy she has) at their places <3

Not very much she's kinda loudmouthed and hater-ly. I think it's mostly just Talk tho. More likely to be the one holding a friend back from a fight if it was anything beyond a punch or slap (kinda funny bcz she is tiny)

Pretty well. I think in a social situation she's likely to want to take the lead. even if she's not the calmest person around she is usually the most Assertive. In more individual situations such as Poker or Arguing she can go quite some time without being bothered.

for the most part Yes. See above + i think she's also just kinda a do-er. if she wants to do something she will find out a way to do it and get it done and smile happily about it. isnt as fun when it comes to shit she doesnt feel like doing tho, such as finishing her degree or finding a longterm place to stay or a steady job. because why should she HAVE to when what shes DOING already works

🎲1.) What kind of games does your character most enjoy playing?

Ones where she can win money mostly. texas hold em poker is the go-to but she also likes other card games and also billiards. Also kinda strikes me as a call of duty mt dew gamer but is probably pretty casual about it, i dont think she owns her own xbox.

🎲9.) What is a topic your character would be excited to talk about?

Her band, music in general, poker, gambling in general, the latest vegas gossip, ancestry dot com, etc etc. She's an extrovert and a talker and a gossiper you could get her going about anything i think. and i RESPECT that.

HATES IT AND UR GOING TO HELL if it happens to her. But would do it as revenge <3 Really depends on the game/how high stakes it is, but shes horribly competitive in general so does not take kindly to it in most cases.
