Allow me, if you will, a moment to go absolutely rabid over your blog and everything that goes on here. I’ve always loved history but the USA hardly likes teaching anything that isn’t American History. I’ve forgotten how much I love WORLD history, specifically the rise and fall of empires.

I’ve been smothering myself in your posts and I love it ALL. JC, Pompey, Crassus, Sulla, Octavian, Antony, Cassius, and Brutus. Wow what a mood. You don’t miss on your references or your modern AU’s and I’m over here like- I’m trying to buy whatever web comic you put out, book you write, etc.

Also, if you’d be so kind to list some material with like themes to start breaking into these topics. Preferably materials in English or translated materials.

if you really want to start on the ground floor for breaking into something, I'd recommend my personal favorite approach which is picking the figure that's most interesting to you, reading through plutarch's biography on them (free! online! in english!) and then putting their name through a jstor search and reading whatever sounds fun.

I am starting to feel a little bit better than I was, thankfully. Factoid about me: I have a chronic cardiovascular and ANS disease so I'm not the healthiest on even the best of days, but when it really flares up, I get really knocked down and debilitated. I'm trying out a new treatment that has been helping a lot though, and my sisters have been keeping me company. 😊

In more positive (though unrelated news), my one sister and I been playing a video game/visual novel called "Your Turn To Die" together, and it has been really interesting and very riveting! The storytelling and character arcs are top tier! ✨ I just finished one play through, and I have so many new "Little Trees" 🌲and have collected some new problematic fictional siblings to add to my collection too 😁😂 (I swear I'm a magnet for them 🧲 They always find me!) I'm really just itching to write about them as soon as I feel up to it!! 🥰 (Also, can't wait to tell you all about my sweet, sweet murder prince!! 💖 Devoted big brother, talented musician, and so, so dreamy...)

Anyway... Yes, I am on the mend a bit, but I think it'll still be a little while before I'm back to normal blog activity like writing headcanons, answering asks and playing games and such. Ram teaching Bheem to read and write. Bheem teaching him how to live in the forest. Thats it. Thats the concept.

THAT'S A GOOD ASS CONCEPT

I believe Bheem is a very quick learner and he remembers small details and is very observant, so learning languages wasn't very difficult for him. And when he had a teacher like Ram 👀 it would be a pretty easy task right? Well it's only partially true! Because Bheem mastered indian languages pretty quickly, it was like a whole new world opened to him. He fell in love with books almost instantaneously (Ram was so proud of his baby)

But his favourite part of learning Indian languages wasn't reading books, it was reading what Ram wrote for him. I headcanon that before Ram started teaching Bheem, he wrote short sweet letters to him and promised to give them to him once he could read well enough (that was the biggest motivation for Bheem to learn everything fast). So every Monday Bheem received a new letter from Ram and he would try his hardest to complete reading it till Sunday!

He also fell in love with writing stuff! It gave him an outlet to let out all his emotions (his very gay emotions imo) He would write small love letters for Ram in return but was insecure about his writing skills so he never sent them to Ram (until one fateful day Ram came across all those letters, both of them weren't found for the next 5 hours cause ahem they were "busy") OH and also Bheem's writing is super pretty because I said so

The biggest hurdle in his education was English tho! Because he knew it was important to understand this language and master it to work for the freedom effectively, but he really hated learning it. It didn't feel familiar or homely to him like the desi languages were. It wasn't fun at all but our dear Ram found a way to help him with that! Every small English goal Bheem completed, he got a reward for that - reward includes - Ram cooking food for Bheem, him getting all the kisses in the world, cuddling and hugging, friendly competitions that always ends up with them in bed making out, you can fill the rest with everything gay imaginable. So even though learning English was difficult, Bheem managed just fine after all those rewards :p

When Ram showed interest in learning to live in a forest, Bheem was super excited. By super excited I mean he really went ahead and picked Ram up and twirled them around lmao. Bheem is a very patient teacher, he's always encouraging and smiling at Ram even when he's doing the task totally wrong (he's just in love tbh). He teaches Ram about how to understand the forest cause that's very important for survival, one needs to be very observant and aware of his surroundings. Mother earth has given us everything we need to keep us alive, it's about respecting the balance and taking nothing for granted!

Identifying different plants and herbs was probably the most difficult part for Ram. He could easily do all the work which required physical force or precision but he never really had time to actually sit and study the nature. Bheem really had to teach him how to calm his mind down and understand the way of nature. He took Ram on long walks, showing him all the plants and their significance. Ram has a "nature notebook" where he writes down all the stuff so next time if anyone is harmed, he knows how to help them.
