Thinking very hard about an AU idea of mine. Reluctant king Sabo AU!

In which Sabo isn’t saved by Dragon, but survives long enough to drift ashore and be saved by the doctors of Goa Kingdom, who do so only to ransom his medical bills from Sabo’s parents. Sabo’s parents take him back, thinking that his amnesia makes him a clean slate, but Sabo, young and stubborn and unsure of his entire identity, knows that everything is wrong and runs again, and again, and again.

Until at some point, he meets the Revolutionaries, and realizes that he can be useful to them, provide them information, make something good of an inescapable situation. From then on, he starts acting the noble that he was born as, in order to be a more useful informant to the Revolutionaries, until sunk cost fallacy hits and he believes that being a noble is the only way that he can be useful to the Revolutionaries. So at that point, why not take it all the way?

At 17, Sabo becomes one of Princess Sarie’s suitors, and at 17, he has doubts about using the princess for his own goals. Sarie is a romantic, and she wants a dramatic fairy tale of a romance, and she was already charmed, but the moment Sabo opens up to her about not wanting to use her to get to the throne, having lofty ambitions of helping the people (just not the people she thinks he’s talking about), Sabo becomes the one she simply must marry, because surely if she tries hard enough, she can make him love her back.

Soon after, the king and his son die. Sarie’s father and brother die. And while Sabo conveniently ascends to the throne, he also swiftly implicates his father, Outlook, in the assassination of all heirs to the throne, resulting in Outlook’s arrest and subsequent execution. And thus, at 18, Sabo becomes king, and begins to gradually institute great changes to Goa Kingdom.

Design-wise, Sabo wears an eyepatch because his damaged eye is considered a grotesque sight by nobles’ standards. Under the eyepatch, he wears heavy makeup to hide the burn scar. These are both at the behest of his birth parents, who spin a story about Sabo having been born half blind to hide the fact that Sabo had been shot by a Celestial Dragon and save face. To those who have seen his scar, they fabricate a second secret story that he was unfortunately kidnapped as a child. Sabo never does find out, until he regains his memories, where the burn scar is actually from.

I think he hates everything about the situation he is in #but I also think that in the wake of forgetting himself he needs some connection to cling onto #even if that connection is the extremely inspiring stranger that barely knows him but is proud of him for helping #namely dragon.#I’m still unsure where to put stelly in all of this #I think stelly gets extremely bitter when sabo starts surpassing him in everything #because he was supposed to be the successful replacement of a son #im also debating whether or not I want sabo to remember his memories before or after marineford #because the moment he regains his memories is very clear to me. I want garp to see him at the reverie and punch him.#but I don’t know if I want that to happen earlier or later

Tim finds a lead about a strange city in Illinois that the government has hidden for years. Due to personal reasons (Tim's long lost brother could be there, and he's unsure if getting Bruce involved would be a good idea), he goes AWOL to investigate the city of Amity Park himself.

Upon arrival, Tim faces a new dilemma. While the civilians are unaware of Gotham and it's batclan, the GIW agents are keen on ridding all signs of outside vigilantes from public eye. If even one agent spotted him as Robin or Red Robin, he'd have a whole government branch hunting him down all the way back to Gotham.

Conclusion? Tim needs a brand new hero alias.

Carmilla deals weapons right? Well, I think that's Vaggie would more so offer training- like defensive measures

And i can imagine her not even knowing she's an overlord until she's summoned to a meeting and Alastor drags her ass over there(which he later regrets)

I imagine that it starts off with her offering to teach a random sinner how to fight. Maybe after saving them from doemone else and she's like "I don't want payment so stop being an ass." "...." "ugh I, could teach you some moves so this doesn't happen again or something."

Then it slowly spreads, and maybe people give her their souls just cause she's deemed 'safe'or smth, and she doesn't even know. She just thinks the handshake at the end of certain lessons are friendly (no one could take her soul even if she let them)

Not them giving her soul for a favor, or smth along those lines

In Stars and Time headcanon that during the new journey they learn that Siffrin can still rewind time, but it just knocks him tf out.

How they found out-

Someone gets injured and is lying on the ground dying or something, and Sif just panics annnnnnnnnnnnnnd-

They rewind like 5 minutes before it happened, and because of this they just drop, and everyone is like "wtf happened!?" and Sif is like "OH STARS I CAN STILL REWIND TIME-" and they are like "WHAT HAPPENED!?" and Sif's like "SO AND SO WAS DYING AND I PANICED-" and they are like "HOW!?!?!?!?!?!"

I think they should only be able to rewind like 5 minutes like, once a week- MAX. Nerf Sif's abilities 100%.

set post-rumbling - not NSFW

- Reiner is soooo shy (someone else said this one, credit where it's due)

-Given that Reiner's a very attractive man, i think it would be funny to see the alliance's reaction to him getting flirted with

- Jean would be jealous as fuck

- speaking of Jean, he either takes on a leader role post rumbling or he sits back and lets Armin do it. I think he steps down from being a leader tbh, because a large part of why he's a leader is because Marco believed in him, and he didn't want to let Marco down... after the finale, though, i think he lets the memory, and himself, rest. He's not going to live his new life ruled by the expectations of ghosts

- Onyonkapon and Levi become pretty good friends, bonding over Hange's memory. Also, levi deserves friends his age.

- Levi and Annie slowly, slowly get over their ghosts. I like to think he forgives her eventually, but for the most part they only acknowledge each other's existence when they're alone.

- i think Annie LOVES tea, so she makes Levi a cup whenever she makes it for herself. It's sort of an apology. She never was taught how to express emotions with words, so she lets her actions speak.

- Armin and Annie are the Cutest. Couple. Connie and Pieck start a betting pool for when they'll officially get together.

- (someone else said this) Levi Gets a Teashop. they all save up money to buy it, and take turns working and cleaning.

- injury was very very common in the military so they're all quite okay with levi being disabled (i feel like this one should go unsaid but I've seen a lot of casual ableism in fics)

- Pieck's dad adopts everyone. He makes them home cooked meals. I think Jean can cook best out of everyone, but they're all military brats and aren't used to Good Food, especially with the paradis food shortage and lack of world trade. Post Rumbling there's very little in terms of available ingredients, but poor people know how to COOK on limited supplies.

- on the subject of food, how would they all react to SPICE??? armin would cry.

- Levi spends so much time with Gabi and Falco, because all the able bodied adults are helping with rebuilding. He teaches them to say fuck.

- Reiner has Zero survival instincts, because he had titan healing. He's the mf that runs with scissors.

- PIECK HAS POTS!! (yes i'm projecting). her body literally can't handle pumping blood when she's standing vertically, because she was horizontal for so long

- Levi is still the grumpiest bitch on the planet but he loves his kids (he eventually comes to see reiner and peick as children-in-law, because he hasn't cared about them for as long)

- Gabi grows up to look like Sasha. Jean and Connie have forgiven her, but they do have a good cry over it one night.

so i had Some Thoughts like... a month or go at this point, i think, it's just taken time to work on Other Things and also sit down to do this

but i think it'd be fun if there was like. a pirate special costume event. specifically with day one characters that haven't gotten any additional sync partners yet because they deserve it.

obviously roark was going to be here because i am Predictable, so... pirate roark and his partner archeops! everyone thinks he's partnered with chatot since that's the perfect companion for a pirate, but Tot is more of a pet than a battle buddy (i can and will elaborate if asked). Puppy on the other hand is very much a dino who likes to battle when given the chance.

i have no idea what his EX colors would be considering he's already running with a shiny and chatot's colors also really aren't all that different. maybe moving closer to the actual shiny coloration??? i just didn't want them to blend together too much in the dino hug :/
