A/n: I love this show sm, I swear if Netflix is queer baiting us which they probably are I'm emailing them a strongly worded complaint. Also some scenes in this fic obviously don't line up to the episode

Wednesday opened the door to reveal Tyler at her dorm. He held Flowers with a bright smile "I got the note you sent me" what note? "honestly it shocked me how endearing and sweet it was" "yes. It shocked me to. One moment please" she closed the door and glared at Thing "How could you make him think I could write something endearing and....sweet" she looked through her closet. Maybe I could try faking my death, it's not like it's something I haven't done before. Thing snapped his fingers to get Wednesdays attention. She turned to the black dress from the antique store "how'd you afford that?" Thing sighed to her in response. "Hm"

Her roommate Wednesday walking down the stairs, looking more beautiful then she'd ever realize. Enid thought Wednesday was quite attractive when they first meet but now seeing her here confirmed something Enid was contemplating since the two girls first meet:

Enid looked around for her date. He'd left just mere seconds ago! Where'd he gone? She heard whispers and awes of someone who had just entered the ball. She'd looked to see-

Enid took interest in Wednesday. She didn't know how she hadn't realized it before. Then again the way she felt with Wednesday was different from her other romantic interest. Ajax was attractive yes, but he didn't have that dark allure that Her roommate had. This attraction was stronger but hidden in the back of Enids mind. Like when the two were up on the balcony she had felt a certain way. Back then she thought the attraction was what all girls felt.

Sadly that awe came to an end when she noticed Tyler accompanying her. What the hell was he doing here? She thought Wednesday was stubborn on not having a relationship, she'd mention it to Enid one time how she loathed even the slight possibility of her having a partner so why was HE here with her? Enid realized she was getting frustrated and tried calming herself down. She walked over to them with a bright smile "Wednesday! I never thought you'd be here. What was the change of heart?"

"Believe me I didn't come here by will, if I did it would be a sign I've truly gone insane. Though I'm not surprised you're here" Wednesday eyed her in suspicion "I thought that gorgen dumped you. Who's your date? Or are you alone? Now that'd be the real surprise" Enid felt slightly hurt at Wednesday implying she'd gone to the dance alone. But brushed it off "oh he's around here somewhere"

Enid looked desperately In the crowd to find him, though a part of her hoped she didn't. Wednesday raised an eyebrow "is he invisible? How inconvenient, be harder to kill him if he breaks your heart" Enids felt attracted at the thought of Wednesday killing someone over her, even as morbid as it was. "Oh no no! He just went somewhere... probably taking a bathroom break" Wednesday replied with a "hm" and went to find Tyler. Enid walked to the punch bowl and drank 3 cups of punch. Hating the thought of Wednesday being with that normie. She watched as she saw Wednesday bumping into Xavier. After awhile she walked out to the sitting room.

"Xavier told me what you did" Tyler looked to Wednesday sitting next to him. He sighed "look Wednesday I wish I could lie my way out of this and tell you a reason why I did but to be honest, I can't. I don't know why I did it but after I realized how awful it was I felt terrible"

"Do you really think I'd stopped liking you for a lousy prank? The way Xavier told me about I would've done worse" Tyler smiled. "I knew I liked you for a reason" Oh. We're the feelings mutual? Wednesday didn't know. She thought over it. She somewhat tolerated his presence around her, and did he make a damn good cup of coffee, but Did she like Tyler? In that way? People confused her. How should she put it to him.

"I don't believe the feelings mutual" Wednesday deadpanned. Tyler turned towards her "huh?"

"Not in that way, I don't find interest in you in a romantic Sense but I do somewhat tolerate your presence" Tyler translated what she said to himself then repeated it back to her "so you're saying you don't want to date me but you more see me as a friend? Did I hit the mark?"

"Not exactly. I don't have friends but enemies and people I've decided not to poison in Thier sleep. Also I have a confession to make" Tyler snorted "And what's that?"

"I didn't write that note to you. Thing did, he was forcing me to socialize and thought you'd be the perfect date. He was sorely mistaken"

"Yeah I had a feeling someone else wrote it. Too sweet to be written from you. You'd rather be caught dead then doing that"

"Agreed" a pause. "So who is it?" Wednesday was confused though her face didn't show it "who's what?"

"The person you're interested in instead of me?"

"Do I really have to be romanticly interested in someone else if I'm not with you? Like I told myself in the beginning of my time here; I will not become my mother and find my "one true love" why is it a need for girls to find a romantic partner?" Tyler quickly defend himself "sorry that's not what I meant, you're right I shouldn't assume" The silence thickened between the two. "Though I'm might be contradicting myself, there might be ..... someone"

"Who?"

"Not telling you, but I do have some business to take care of with this person" Wednesday stood up ready to walk back into the ball. "Is it-" Tyler was going to ask if it was a certain boy but she interrupted him "it's not Xavier if that's what you're thinking" she walked out of the sitting room into the flashing light filled dance.

Enid accepted that her date completely dipped on her and wasn't coming back. She sighed, frustrated at the predicament. She watched as the rest of the school danced with each other as she sat at one of the tables. Enid took a sip of her drink.

"Enid" she nearly choked as the girl in black appeared out of nowhere. Putting her drink down Enid stood with Wednesday "Jesus Wednesday! You have a nact for appearing from nowhere"

"It's a hobby" Wednesday deadpanned. "I have something to tell you" "what? You killed your date already?" Enid joked.

"Don't change the subject" something told Enid this was serious and not Wednesdays usual morbid sarcasm. Enid leaned closer "so what is it?"

"I don't know what you did but you've done something. Maybe it's some form of dark arts you've casted on me"

"Huh?" Wednesday furrowed her eyebrows in irritation. "I'm trying to tell you I tolerate you a lot more than everyone else. It's probably because I've spent so much time in that dorm with you I've formed Stockholm syndrome" Enid realized what Wednesday was trying to say and smiled. "Wednesday are you trying to say you like me?"

The girl in black avoided her question and said instead "will you have this dance with me" Enid squealed and threw her self on Wednesday "oh yes! Yes I will!" Wednesday tensed up at the physical touch. "Sorry forgot you're not a hugger" Enid tried pulling away but Wednesday slowly (and awkwardly) wrapped her arms around Enid. Holy shit. Wednesday was hugging Enid. It somewhat surprised dark haired girl herself. Wednesday promised she wouldn't end up like her mother and fall for someone. Damn her mother for being right.

just finished that book i bought for my flight, she drives me crazy by kelly quindlen. it was cute! i was a lil afraid it’d be Twitter Authors Use Tropes As Genres-esque since it was in the booktok section at barnes and noble, and i usually don’t care that much about fake dating plots, but it was done well i think. it has enough 2022 online stuff to fit into booktok genre but it’s all done in a genuine way that isn’t cringey. if that makes sense.

i just mean stuff like Fake Dating and mentioning the problematic parts of old movies while using the word “problematic”. which usually comes across as forced to me. but it doesn’t here! it also does a pretty good job of unpacking toxic relationships and learning to self love. it was relatable in that aspect. i dont think it’s earth-shatteringly revolutionary or anything, but it was nice to read after having gone thru that whole journey myself u know. i hope it’ll give some young lesbian out there comfort after getting out of a bad situation w another girl.

speaking of lesbians. it also wasn’t just Jock X Cheerleader But Gay. there was a lot of nuance with how being gay and/or closeted impacted the characters’ relationships with their exes. that unique hurt u feel when your heart is broken by another girl but she either won’t or can’t treat it with the same weight you do. that shit HUUURTS

anyway it was a cute little book i liked it enough to not sell it on ebay. that was my plan for if it was cringe.

Hi guys! As promised to that Anon, I wrote the timelines. I decided to write only the key points though because these are things we already know, and then, I’m sure there are more than a thousand proofs around and people who have already spoken about it. Enjoy.

Drum roll, please 🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁

Let’s start with the first competitor: Tyrone William Griffin, aka Typical Dish Snacked Ty Dolla $ign 04/13/1982, the man who liked to tweet things like “I’m the curator of lesbians”.

PRen Tyren: As I already mentioned in the post “There is a light at the end of the tunnel”, it all started on the evening of November 15, 2016, when 5H went to the Epic party. Due to Laucy’s picture of the wedding and the ‘official’ coming out then occurred a few days later, on November 18, 2016, Lauren needed a boyfriend. That same night at the party, Typecast accepted the management’s proposal.

Typo tweeted “LMJ” on January 4, 2017, and then immediately deleted it. First move to create speculation since, presumably, Lauren ‘was’ still with Ludicrous. Shortly thereafter, a blind item about L who was having an affair with a married man came out. On January 10, 2017, Nicole Cartolano posted that picture of Laucy in the snow with a piñata. After wishing her a happy birthday, as we already know, luBYE. On February 13, 2017, there were the first PRren pictures at the Grammy after-party, so that people would start believing the blind item, BUT, making it clear that he wasn’t a married man, but a taken one, and yes, MAN, since Tyred is 14 years older than her, and therefore inculcating the idea that L was really cheating on Luggage. On March 9, 2017, Tymbal posted a picture of them together, coincidentally, the day after he advertised his upcoming album ‘Beach House 3’.

On March 22, 2017, we had ‘Bare With Me’ and Nicole Cartolano’s interview with MTV News. On the 23rd, we had, still very coincidentally and totally unplanned, “no I hate it because it’s invasive, scary, delusional, disrespectful to us both and was never real…Ever”, because, because, SHE DECIDES. NOT US. PERIOD. (sorry, I had to 😂. This is another of L’s tweets dating back to July 2, 2017: “I decide. Not you. Period.”) Joking apart, because she was single and she certainly couldn’t let the fans have hope for her and C, so she tried to kill the Camren ship for the umpteenth time. “Hey, hey, Lo, how’d it go? That bad, eh?” “Let me try again in 2020.” “Laur, babe, I’ll tell you what. I’m from the future, okay? It didn’t work, honey. And I don’t think it’s gonna work either in, I don’t know, in 2030.”

Back to the program.

The day before Nicole’s MTV article and eight days later, Twix posted a series of tweets (21: “Lo” - 30: “You look better on me 👀”, Cuban flag, and “I think she like me 😍”) [👈🏼 ‘Great grammar’ said in Lauren’s voice] which he then of course deleted to make everything more and more mysterious, and thus making people connect and figure out who was that ‘LMJ’ tweeted in January. On April 14, 2017, we had a picture of L with TyPod and his family dating back the night before when they celebrated Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’s birthday, followed by the blurred picture of the 15th of them together at Coachella. On April 18, 2017, Alycia Bella, Tinky Winky’s ex, tweeted “when you get cheated on w a 5th harmony member & all you can do is laugh.”, and then immediately deleted it, thus giving even more confirmation to people that both had cheated, despite Teletubbies denied and defended himself: “been moved on :) no cheating. Keep it Taylor’d. gang gang 🤘🏽🤘🏽”. The same Alycia who complained of being cheated on by Telly for ‘another girl’ during the reality show ‘The Platinum Life’ which aired on October 15, 2017 and that was recorded MONTHS BEFORE.

There were other tweets that Tyronic continued to tweet and then delete (April 1: “I think about you all the time” - April 3: “You my favorite” and “I don’t know what I did to deserve you” - April 7: “Really like what you’ve done to me”), Insta-stories and posts by both, and other public appearances together to increase the public’s curiosity. Such as: 1) Mani’s birthday. 2) August 16, 2017, when 5H did that famous and messy phone interview with The Sun for Dan Wooton’s podcast, one of Salmoned Cow’s well-known puppies friends, during which Dan asked Lauren about his relationship with Twinkly and she replied that they were just vibing. 3) Lauren’s birthday. 4) On September 11, 2017, Lauren posted pictures about the FentyxPuma party, and in one of those posts with pictures of her and Troglodyte, she put the caption with three hearts emojis, thus confirming to people that she and Tipsy were together.

February 2017 was the chosen month for Pukeren to ‘become’ official, confirmed by Typed in an interview at the Power 105.1 FM morning show The Breakfast Club on October 31, 2017, though, so a long time later and when the waters had already calmed down. By saying February, Tyring confirmed the cheatings exactly as it was planned. In another interview with BigBoyTV made on November 2, 2017, Typology showed the interviewees how even the background of his phone was a picture of Lauren. Picture that, by the way, Lauren herself posted 21 days before that by wearing Tijuana’s merchandise sweatshirt, so not even a personal picture that you’d normally expect to see from a real boyfriend.

Blah blah blah, Lauren never needed to defend a person so much in her life, blah blah blah, weed and booze and parties, blah blah blah, dogs (and fake allergies when convenient), blah blah blah, #Laurenthegroupie, blah blah blah, Tara and social media don’t get along very well, blah blah blah, #freepoorTweed ⛓️👮🏼 who was just having some fun with his friends, blah blah blah. We know the rest of the farce, and moving on to two years later, and therefore at the end of the PR, on April 15, 2019, Tic Tac tweeted a broken heart before zeroing his social media and Lauren a post on her social media, both implying the end of their oh so real ‘relationship’.

Let’s move on to competitor number two: Maturely Hushed Matthew Hussey, 06/19/1987. The scammer par excellence (since 2012). The salesman who pretends to be a life coach/dating advice expert by deluding poor women who fall into his bullshit. The charlatan who has an infinity of fraud charges and even a restraining order for stalking and harassment by a woman named Samantha C. of San Diego. [this woman continually talked about the situation on her Instagram account, cheating_matthewhussey. Even Chelsea Briggs liked a picture.]

Ewmila Mattmila: The skit was supposed to start a lot sooner in reality. They ‘met’ for the first time on September 29, 2017, on the set of NBC’s Today show (performance that C dedicated to the Dreamers), but nobody has heard much about it, right? There was only a single Billboard article that did that. Following that meeting, it was supposed to start in October 2017, when they also started to follow each other on IG, but everything was postponed because C’s album was postponed. The album was released on the 12th, and by pure coincidence, on January 11th, 2018, during the interview with Elvis Duran, and COMPLETELY OUT OF THE BLUE, C mentioned Matilda for the first time by saying she was a fan of his. The same Mattress (10 years older than her) who coincidentally was there that day, so a setup for the public to make believe that they’d met that day.

The next day, at the release of the album ‘Camila’, C performed at Good Morning America, and Macaque, again by pure coincidence, had a small slot in the same program. On January 15, 2018, during the interview with Zane Lowe, when he asked if she had someone special in her life at that time, she replied with “maybe”, which was a big yes when she read “I can’t say your name without smiling” just before from her phone notes. On January 22, 2018, on Zach Sang Show, C said that she’s a private person and that she doesn’t like the ‘public thing’ since the Austin fiasco. Another bullshit said to make the public believe that it was the truth and take advantage of the events that would happen shortly thereafter, since, literally 18 days later, on February 9, E! News exclusively posted the first Burpmila pictures on vacation on a beach in Cabo, Mexico.

Andrew explained to her that the PR with Chauffeur wasn’t going to be done right away at all, also because as C would have her PR relationship with EatchEW, Shanty would have that kind of PR relationship/not relationship with Hailey Baldwin (now Bieber) that only served to make people speculate and maintain the idea that Shazam wasn’t gay. On August 4, still during the Reputation Tour, Shampoo went to the concert date in Toronto, and Taylor posted an Insta-story in which she put make-up and glitter on Shank’s eyelids. Sweaty regretted giving Taylor permission to post the video because people have always thought he was gay for years, and on November 26, 2018, the RollingStone interview was released in which he admitted that he felt the need to be photographed and seen with a girl to prove he isn’t gay. This was a great leverage they used with Camila since she could understand and help a friend in need. The work of persuasion lasted for about 9/10 months, from January 27, 2018, to the end of November/beginning of December 2018. The overt attachment to Kaji/leaving the date early struck me initially. Plus the opposites rivalry with Rei felt fairly indicative too.

I'm a cis guy (I think) but I agree with a lot of what you said about Asuka's sexuality. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't seeing things where there weren't any.

how Asuka interacts w men is probably the biggest flag for me personally--which might just be a projection thing but like w/e to a point thats what this all is lol. Obviously a lot of it is entrenched in her particular traumas, but I also can’t help but see how it parallels so many classic comp het behaviors. Like entertaining the idea of being interested in a man until he reciprocates (ie asks her on a date) and then abruptly rejecting him and all the while convincing yourself that you’re still attracted to men by curating an investment in one who is 100% unavailable (and thus ‘safe’) is one of the major hallmarks of baby lesbianism. I think easily 3/4s of the gay girls I know have done almost exactly that at some point in their life (and maybe are still doing it in some shade or variation).

also like if it wasn’t obvious my reading of asuka is hugely, transparently impacted by the fact that I watched nge for the first time as a fourteen year old who attached herself to asuka immediately. so it goes w/o saying that I was more likely to fixate on behaviors that rang similar to my own and, now, years later and with much more knowledge of myself, read those similarities as indicative of the same things they were for me (ie being really very gay). i do think it exists outside of my personal projection and feelings as an interesting and valid way of reading asuka’s character and how she interacts w others in the show (particularly shinji and rei obvi), but also like yknow there is certainly a ‘self recognition through the anime girl’ angle to it. which isn’t w/o value on its own merit!

i think the ways characters can exist as projection and what identities can be read onto them does say something real and true about those characters and stories. and i mean like what is theory if not somewhat just projecting ideas onto characters/art that are not necessarily obvious/easy extrapolations. sometimes youre a little bit just making stuff up b/c you want it to be there and then retroactively looking for the pieces to prove it and thats scholarship, baby!

all this to say i am a big believer in seeing things that might not be there, especially if those things are thinking a character is lgbt. like at the end of the day this is just a fucking anime. its fake and its art and to a point who fucking cares what kind of shit you think about it bc your perception of it belongs to you and you alone.

The theme for this writing challenge is Fall/Winter I was going to do Halloween, but I decided to have it be more, there will be Halloween prompts thrown into this though!! my (probably controversial) opinions on ships

Canon:

percabeth: their relationship set the bar so damn high i want what they have 😔 10/10

jasiper: i say jasiper bc everyone argues whether or not it's jasper or jiper and it's a solid combination of the two. tbh their relationship wasn't good. like good while it lasted but if they never broke up i would've been surprised. it was also hella fake, and piper is probably gay let my girl live hera 4/10

frazel: ✨no✨ first of all (here's a side controversial opinion) i don't like frank. don't worry, i absolutely love hazel. second, that age gap? um, chile anyways 👀 sorry if you think that an eighth grader dating a junior in high school is okay, but it's a definite no for me ❤️✨ 0/10

caleo: it's cute, i like how they were a whole "destined to be together" thing and how they both believed they could never find love, but it was rushed. i have a whole long ass headcanon about how i would've done leo and calypso and their love lives better, but that's a post for another day. tbh leo's probably gay tho. the gods were nice to cal 5/10

GAAAAAAHHHHH THIS EPISODE WAS SO GOOD! I love that there was a common theme of feeling like you aren’t being heard. Daisy felt like she was too unimportant to be listened to, Louie doesn’t listen to Dewey because he feels like Dewey isn’t serious enough, and NO ONE listens to Donald because his voice is hard to understand. In the end they all get heard, with Donald and Daisy getting the bonus of finding someone who understands them. The two of them really are relationship goals. I cannot WAIT for more wholesome Donisy content. This one bumped Quack Pack down from my favorite so far.

Allura x Reader - ”Truth”

Happy 2020! (at least I hope it gets done that soon!) I haven't been inspired lately, but when I do, I get busy from school; so here’s to my first post of 2020

Okay so this has Girl x Girl, (Y/N) in this story identifies as a female. Thank you!! Don't hate on me if you don't read this message.

Afternote: I don't really like the end/middle, I was going to write something different; also it's a little rushed :/

It was a late night, or I hope it was night, but there is not really a time of day in space is there? Anyway, I was walking down the halls, late after everyone was presumably asleep. I couldn't sleep after the day we had, it was relaxing, to say the least, but I worry for tomorrow; usually, a peaceful day leads to a painful one.

I was currently walking to the kitchen, maybe food could calm my nerves. As I walked down the hall I dragged my hand against the wall, the feel of the cool altean metal grazing my fingertips.

It felt nice.

Once I had arrived I opened the door, entering the barren room. I grabbed a mysterious protein bar and closed the cabinet before heading back out. The only heard in the hallway was the sound of my footsteps.

I shivered, it was pretty cold. I hugged my sweater closer to my body, the warm cloth warming me up just a bit. It brought a small smile upon my face.

Soon, I had made my way outside the lounge to eat and relax but was interrupted by the sound of laughter and footsteps.

I stood still at the entrance, staying out of sight. It could have been intruders or one of the others having late night fun out and just came back, I didn't want to disturb them if they're having fun...

I just would stay quiet till they left, yeah not eavesdropping in the slightest.

Not creepy, just want to eat.

I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard the beautiful, sweet voice of my crush; Princess Allura. She giggles, ” I had a lot of fun today, haven't been this relaxed in a while!”

”I’m glad you enjoyed it. I loved seeing the stars out by the ocean, I used to do it often when I lived on Earth, ” a slowly sad voice replied, ” but I'm glad we got to s-spend time together like this Princess~” It was the voice of Lance. He always flirted with Allura, whether I was there or not. It always hurt me when he got closer to the princess, pushing me aside.

”I want you to close your e-eyes for a second, I have a gift for you.” Silence ensued. ”Okay open your eyes, gorgeous~!”

She was silent for a second, before saying quietly ”Its a box...?” The clicking of a jewelry box was heard in the silent room. The altean royalty gasped, ” So sparkly! I love it, Lance. But, why are you giving this to me?”

”I-I just wanted to tell y-you that I, ” he paused, taking a breath before continuing his confession, ”I love you Allura...”

I listened to too much. I left, walking with her uneaten protein bar back to her room. It was possible I just listened and overheard their date, it was also possibly nothing. Sitting on my cold bed, I placed the bar away onto a box I had sitting around. I put my head in my hands, trying to calm myself from crying.

Why did I think she would like me back? I'm a lesbian swooning for her, but she's happy with him.

I couldn't sleep for the rest of the night. The thoughts that plagued my mind kept me up, making me struggle to feel alive throughout the day. Groaning softly, I plopped down harshly onto the couch by a hard-working Pidge with Hunk helping her, sitting beside her. I hung my head back, resting my eyes just for a minute. Or maybe a few...

”(Y/N)!”

I jumped up, hitting my head on the person who was above me’s head. ”Gah! I'msosorry!” I opened my eyes to see Shiro, Keith, who was rubbing his forehead, and the burning lights of the castle beaming directly into my eyes. I flinched and squinted up at them to adjust to it.

”Are you alright? You seem tired, ” Shiro asked concerned.

”Yeah, I'm okay. I didn't sleep much last night, but I'll be fine, I promise.”

”Are you sure?” Keith asked, head tilted in concern. I just nodded, my eyelids falling over my eyes once again, and falling back asleep.

Unknown to me, Allura had stood in the doorway, looking over at my exhausted state. A troubled look spread across her face.

”(Y/N)!”

I stopped walking and turned around to see who had called me; it was Allura, her dress flowing behind her as she caught up to me, only slightly out of breath. ”Yes, Princess Allura?”

She stopped right in front of me, looking into my eyes. ”Please, (Y/N), I told you to call me Allura, we're friends after all.”

I blushed a light pink, but still felt the stab in my heart.

”Anyways, I wanted to ask you if you wanted to have a girl's night, just you and me!” she smiled brightly, having the same amount of excitement of a child sliding down the stairs on Christmas day seeing a pile of presents under the tree.

”Isn’t Pidge also a girl?”

”Yes! But we haven't hung out with just each other in soo long!”

I thought about it for a second. Could I get my heart even more broken? Yeah, but did I want to disappoint her? No. ”Let’s do it!” I exclaimed with fake excitement.

“So... How’s your day been?” I asked Allura. We were currently sitting in Allura’s Princess chamber, sitting around her bed in bed wear, and hair tied up.

“Oh, I’ve been great!” She smiled but then put on a thoughtful face, “ though it does worry me that we haven’t found any traces of Galra nor have we been attacked this week...” I nodded, agreeing with her comment.

Sighing, “Yeah, that worries me too. Usually, they attack us three times a week!” I ended with a short giggle.

When our laughter died down Allura had an idea, ”Ooh, let's play a game!” She smiled and rushed over to her closet, reaching up to the top shelf and grabbing a light blue box. It was covered in ten thousand years worth of dust. The princess’ tan, delicate hands ran over the top, uncovering some of the dust. On the front of the box, was words written in the Altean language.

I tilted my head, ”what’s that?”

”It is a game I used to play with my friends when I younger, I believe Pidge told me it's kinda like the game you humans play on Earth; Truth or Dare.” I froze a bit, I never really liked the game, but it couldn't be that bad, right?

Yeah... That plan really didn't really work out once the card chosen asked you ’Who do you have a crush on?’

I was quiet, a little flustered, part of me didn't want to answer but how the game was played, if you refuse to answer or forfeit the question or dare, you would have to choose a punishment ranging from stripping down to your underwear to the higher range of drinking mysterious liquids. But, I couldn't lie either, there was a centerpiece of the game which picked up if you were lying, and it would give the person who lied a small shock until they gave the truth...

”Umm...” I thought about it, instant rejection, or horrible punishment?

”Common (Y/N), ” she dragged out my name. ”Who do you like?!”

”I... I have a crush on you Allura, but I know you don't like me back solet'sjustmoveonokay?” I sputtered out speedily, not wanting to face the truth. Facing away from her, I hid my crimson colored face.

”(Y/N)..., ” Allura was quiet. Suddenly, I felt her soft hands on my face, bringing it back over to face her concerned face. ”Why would you think that? That I don't like you in that way?”

”I-I...” I looked up into the innocent eyes staring back at me.

”I heard you and Lance last night. I-I didn't want to interrupt your n-nice evening w-with him, y-your h-h-happy with him, who am I t-to stop th-that?” I dragged on, eyes looking away from her.

”Ohh, (N/N)...” she held a short chuckle, ”I didn't like him in that way; I only see you in that type of way. I love you (Y/N).”

Tears glaze my eyes, ”really?”

They start hanging out and find they get along pretty well, specifically through a shared love of a certain fictional detective
