Gilbert sister reader x Jeremy Gilbert
summary: When Jeremy has a nightmare, he comes to you, his oldest sister
Warnings: mentions of death,
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jeremy gasped, sweat dripping down his face as he tried to control his breathing. He was having a nightmare of watching Anna die in his arms over and over.
Now that may have not been what really happened, but it wasn’t any different to him. She died not even an hour after the Gilbert device knocked her out in the bathroom at the Mystic Grill, into his arms. He had to watch as the members of the founders council dragged her away, he was helpless and couldn’t do anything about it.
His mind hasn’t let go of how horrible her death was. Every night he’s been playged with a nightmare with her dying, some nights were worse than others, like this one.
This one wasn't just Anna, it was also his mom and dad, and aunt Jenna (who he secretly stilled called 'Auntie Jenna' when it was just the two of them), and Vicki. Everyone he's lost all just squished into one torture of a nightmare.
He brought up a shaky hand to his face, moving his hair out of his face, before kicking all the covers off. He tried wiping the tears off his face, but they just kept coming so he gave up on that.
Thinking back to the past, he remembered how every time he'd have a bad dream he'd always go to his big sister. She held him and comforted him until he fell back asleep. But the only difference now is that he's no longer eleven, he's fifteen.
The memories just won't leave his head so from the spurt of the moment, he slowly got out of his bed and walked towards his closed door. As quiet as he could, he turned the knob and opened the door, cursing the door when it let out a tiny squeak in his head.
He quietly walked across the hall to your room where there's a dim light coming from under the door, telling Jeremy you're still awake.
Before calling his decision off, he turned the doorknob and walked a couple steps into your room.
You looked up from where you were sitting on your bed reading, hearing someone coming into your room.
"Hey Jer, - what happened?" You set the book aside and stood up when you saw the tear streaks on his face.
"N-nothing" he stuttered out, not knowing how to tell you he had a nightmare like a little kid.
You raised an eyebrow, not believing your little brother. Reaching over, you grasped his arm and gently pulled him down so both of you were sitting across from each other on the bed.
“You can tell me anything, you know that right?” you ask in a soft tone.
“Mhm”, he nods his head.
“Why don’t you explain to me what happened, and I can help you, there’s got to be a reason why you chose to come to me instead of staying where you were” You told him.
After a moment of silence from the fifteen year old, he sighed and started to explain his nightmare to you.
By the end of his long explanation, telling you how horrible he felt on the inside and the pain won’t go away, he started to cry again. He misses Anna and Vicky, and most importantly, his aunt and parents.
“Oh, sweetie I’m so sorry you feel this way, you should’ve come to me sooner, that way you wouldn’t have to suffer alone” you said as you pulled him into your arms.
He immediately nuzzled his face into the crook of your neck, basking in the touch and comfort you’re giving him. You wrapped your arms around his shaking frame and brought a hand up to the back of his head while leaning back on the headboard.
“That’s it, let it out, it’s going to be okay, I promise” you whispered and gave him a kiss on the top of his head.
You hold your little brother close as his crying starts to stiffle. Soon following, you feel Jeremy slacken his grip as he drifted off to sleep.
Softly smiling, you remember how when Jeremy was younger he'd also come to you when he had a nightmare and after you made him feel better, he'd always fall asleep, cuddling into you. And it seems it hasn't changed, as Jeremy is still nuzzled into your neck.
You reached over and pulled your comforter and blanket over you both before turning off your lamp on the bedside table.
As you lay there, you started to rub circles on Jeremy's back, gently not wanting him to wake.
TVD S5 EP11&12 (mostly a rant about Tyler and Caroline)
Tumblr media
I'm not even gonna talk about the first 10 episodes, Silas was annoying AF I'm glad he's dead. Also, Katherine as a human was hilarious.
Tyler deserved better. I said it. I never really understood the Tyler hate. Like, yeah he was a douche in S1 but if we're judging him by his S1 personality shouldn't we all hate Caroline by that logic? Cause she was kind of a bitch in S1.
Caroline sleeping with Klaus...yeah no I don't even know what to say. I knew it was coming, just didn't know when. It was dumb and just didn't really make any sense to me. I was never really on board with them, to begin with.
Why did Klaus come back to MF in the first place? To see Katherine dying? Anyways... It always felt to me like Klaus was being really pushy and trying to flirt with Care when she was obviously not into it (she seemed pretty content and happy with Tyler)
Like sir, you have a whole ass baby on the way (idk what happened with that storyline cause the Mikaelsons went to New Orleans and I'm not watching TO rn) and you're here in MF trying to hook up with a girl who repeatedly told you she wasn't interested. Dare i say, you look kind of pathetic.
Tyler my boy, you deserve better, you really do. And then, when he hears Care talking to a Katherine-possessed Elena about Klaus he is obviously heartbroken.
Look, Care, I like you, I really do, but I can't defend you on this one. It's preposterous to me that she's the one acting all shocked when Tyler gets upset. Like, you slept with the man who ruined his life, who killed your best friend's aunt (RIP Jenna you will always be missed), and oh, killed his mother! (RIP Carol you were innocent)
Also, this might just be me, but did everyone forget that Klaus was gonna kill Care in the sacrifice ritual thing back in S2? Maybe I'm just really bad at letting things go but I would never get over that? Like I would never want to be friends let alone anything more with a person who brought so much suffering to me and my friends.
You almost died because of him, twice! Damn it Caroline, where are your morals!?
Call it a moment of weakness I guess, but still, it was hella stupid. And then Stefan defends Caroline? Like no don't defend her she did a stupid thing!
Tyler is my guy and I like him. I understand not liking his character but you cannot seriously say that he was in the wrong in this situation. He had every right to be upset. And Caroline was stupid for what she did. Maybe it's because Klaus said "You'll never see me again" so she thought "fuck it, I might as well since he'll be gone for good" but still dumb af
The show has been off the rails since S4 it can only be worse from here lol
Hi can I request something with Jenna Ortega for the Saturday sleepover. Thanks!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Make it work; Jenna/Reader
Summary: Reader's brother brings his girlfriend home on their weekend visit from college. The two don't really get along, but somehow find a way to find common ground.
Content: Infidelity, enemies to lovers sorta kinda, oral sex, fingering, and a little tit play.
WC: 5.7k
Tumblr media
visits homes were made on two conditions:
1) Her parents let her fly under the radar, not telling anyone that she's coming home for the weekend.
2) There will be no family events (with Thanksgiving and Christmas as the only exceptions) that she is obligated to go to.
Technically her parents hadn't broken that promise, but they didn't tell her that along with her visiting, her little brother and his new girlfriend will also be in town as well.
"She's a really sweet girl, Y/n, and your brother is very excited for all of us to meet her. You can just pretend to be happy for the weekend, right?"
Despite there only being a two year difference between the two, Y/n still saw Isaac as goofy 15-year-old instead of the college sophomore he is. She would always clown him for being awkward with girls and having crushes on her friends. Something seemed to switch overnight the moment he stepped onto a college campus. After 4 years of failing to find a girl to date him in high school, it only took him a month into his first year to start messing around with girls. Y/n has been spared all the gory details, but she knows her brother was participating in the usual college fuckboy activities. Now as a sophomore he decides it’s time to get into a serious relationship and “change his ways”. They were driving over 5 hours just to come for three and a half days. She hasn't heard much about his "girlfriend" except for what she learned from her parents in the past few hours. She was a bit bitter that her brother hadn't told her first and didn't tell her anything at all.
Her escape home from college is supposed to be just that, an escape. But, with Isaac bringing home his first ever girlfriend, there is bound to be a spectacle. One of her nosy aunts will somehow find out and find their way over and make it a big event. Isaac and his girlfriend are set to arrive within an hour and by then Y/n suspects that her entire extended family will know.
"Who even is this girl anyway? It feels like we're rolling out the red carpet for her...for them."
"Don't act like it wasn't the same for when you brought home your first boyfriend. Even though we knew you really didn't like him, it was still a milestone for you! That wasn't very important for you, but this is very important for your brother. He loves this girl-"
"He's 19 and a sophomore in college — there will be plenty of girls he 'loves'."
"That may be true, but he really likes this girl. So for one weekend, just be happy for your little brother."
Y/n's mother isn't making a suggestion, she's demanding it. The look in her mother's eyes is recognizable, one that easily made her shut up. Her complaints will continue to fall on deaf ears because this weekend is not about her. If she wants to be holed up in her room the entire time while the rest of them enjoy the weekend, then neither of her parents will stop her. However, her mother will not let her sabotage this weekend with her attitude.
"I think they're here," her father chimes in from the kitchen.
There is the unmistakable sound of a car motor coming from outside. Y/n's mom jumps up from the couch with excitement before rushing towards the door. Y/n hasn't seen her mother act like this in years, not since she came back home for her first break from college. She was seriously this excited to meet some random girl that her brother will probably not be with by the end of this summer. Her parents were doting too hard on her little brother just because he was awkward with girls for the entirety of his time in high school, but who isn't?
Y/n was completely turned off by the cheesiness of the reunion and meeting of this girl. Her mother threw her arms around his girlfriend as if she had known her for years. She takes a step back to look at her before fawning at her, "you're so adorable!" The four of them were too chummy for her liking — even her father was gushing.
When they got to Y/n she's sure they expected her to have the same reaction as the three of them, but she couldn't muster up the energy to put on a performance for some random girl she's not going to think twice about once this trip is over.
"Hi! I'm Jenna!"
There was something about this girl that Y/n didn't like, but she couldn't quite put her finger on what. Something about her bubbly little personality seemed fake. Certainly she should've known that wearing a low cut top to meet your boyfriend's parents for the first time wasn't appropriate.
"Hi."
If looks could kill then Y/n's mother would be doing life. For one weekend she wanted her daughter to quell the 'ice princess' act and even just pretend to be happy.
"Do you need help getting settled in?" Y/n's mother intervened before the situation could become tense. "I can show you to the guest room!"
"Sure, I'd love that!"
Y/n felt like the odd one out. The entire night was about the lovely couple that is her little brother and his perky little girlfriend. Her mother cooked his favorite meal as if she wasn't home from college too. Her master's program was killing her and she would've appreciated her mom throwing in a little something for her too. But no, it was all about Isaac and Jenna. If she had known that she was in for a long, annoying weekend, she would've stayed miles away from this place.
——————————————————
Her resent was obvious to everyone. Everyone except Jenna. Y/n felt like the girl was a little too dumb for her own good. A part of her felt like an absolute bitch for thinking that way, but her annoyance over her parents constant fawning over those two really irked her. They really wanted Y/n to be a part of their joy when it didn't matter to her. Her getting along with Jenna doesn't matter seeing that the girl and her brother are not going to last. It's college, and they're only sophomores. This isn't some great love that's going to stand the test of time. All it takes is one party, one glance at another person, or one stressful semester before it all ends up crashing down. Y/n won't revel in the eventual demise, but she's certainly going to rub it in her parents face to never take her brother's little flings seriously ever again.
"We'll be back by six. You know how your father gets at the Tommy Bahama semi-annual sale. You promise to play nice and maybe hangout with your brother and his girlfriend?"
"Yeah, okay, just bring me back a pretzel."
Y/n hadn't seen her brother or his girlfriend since last night's dinner, and she plans to keep it that way. In fact she wasn't planning on seeing anyone for the rest of the night. With her parents, who surely won't be home by six, out of the house, and the other two most likely having plans, she was prepared for a day alone. She wondered if she still had the vibrator she bought when she was 19 under her bed...
She mentally flipped through all the things she could do today with an empty house. So lost in thought that she didn't hear the rustling and voices upstairs. What pulled her out of her thoughts was the sound of feet bolting down the stairs.
"See you, sis!"
"Wait! Where the hell are you going?!"
When she caught the first glimpse of her brother, he looked like he had been caught. Yet he quickly straightened up and gave her that smile he loves to flash whenever he wants to evade trouble. What was missing was his little girlfriend which made Y/n furrow her brow. She swears that if he's pulling what she thinks he's pulling, her parents are going to come back home to him tied up.
"To see my friends!" He answers as if there wasn't an elephant in the room. Jenna was nowhere to be found yet he was trying to leave.
"What about your girlfriend?"
"Yeah, she's gonna stay here. Please play nice, okay?!"
"You sound like-" The door slams behind her brother, "mom."
Isaac didn't give a damn. End of story. He was going to leave his girlfriend alone in a house with someone who doesn't care to engage with her at all.
Y/n can't help but feel a little bit bad for the brat. That was a shitty thing for her brother to do and it shows that he probably shouldn't be in a committed relationship. If something like this happened to her, she would take the car back to campus and leave them stranded.
"Asshole," she mumbles under her breath before getting up from the kitchen island. There is nothing she can do about her brother's dickhead move, so she just climbs the stairs to head back to her bedroom.
Now, just because she felt bad didn't mean she was going to overcompensate. Today is her day, plus she still finds Jenna to be annoying. But, it's like the younger girl didn't get the hint over dinner last night because when she spots Y/n her eyes light up.
"Hi! It looks like it's just us today!"
"It looks like it's just you today. I have plans."
"Oh are you leaving the house too?"
"No."
"Then it is just us today I suppose."
Y/n was a little flustered at her comment. That wasn't her intention, but Y/n felt like Jenna was trying to poke at her on purpose.
"You can do whatever you want, just don't bother me."
And just like that, Y/n had closed the door in Jenna's face just like Isaac did to her earlier. She really couldn't claim her brother to be the asshole when she was just as rude to Jenna. But, that's not her problem, is it?
——————————————————
If there was one way for Jenna to describe this family it would be odd.
Isaac's parents were nice, but everyone didn't seem to want to be around each other like. From the picture he painted her about his family, Jenna expected things like family game nights or family outings. Instead she was stuck in the childhood bedroom of her boyfriend's while everyone except for his moody sister was out and about. She had asked, even begged, Isaac to take her with her but he insisted it was "boys' night." She came all this way just to sit in his outdated room, alone on a Saturday night. She can't help but feel lied to about everything; his family, their plans for the weekend, and how he feels about her. Meeting the parents was supposed to be a big step in their relationship, but she just feels so discarded. Sure, they showed interest in getting to know her at dinner, but she doesn't know if they approve of her or not. Jenna feels like she loves Isaac, but she feels uncertain about everything right now.
The only thing she could do was make the best out of time alone. She didn't have any idea what to do, but she remembered Isaac telling her about a secret Jacuzzi their parents had on a private balcony. He told her how to get to it without getting caught because he promised that they would use it while everyone was asleep. She had packed her bathing suit for that exact reason, and she wasn't going to let it go to waste. She changed out of her regular clothes and into the pink bathing suit before wrapping herself in one of Isaac's towels. It was covered in dinosaurs and looked two be more than 10 years old. 'Really?' she thought to herself. Thank god no one is going to see her like this.
She left Isaac's room and tip-toed through the halls so as to not disturb Y/n. Y/n was on her ass for some reason and it was secretly bothering her. She felt it was very important for everybody in her boyfriend's family likes her, but Y/n seemed adamant about keeping her distance. Maybe Y/n was just being a protective big sister, but Jenna couldn't help but feel a little ostracized. The best thing she felt to do was just stay out of Y/n's way.
What didn't cross her mind as she made her trek to that coveted jacuzzi was that Y/n probably knew about it too. Jenna felt like was doing her a favor by fucking off to a part of the house that seemed unknown. But, she was in for a shock when she saw Y/n already lounging in the jacuzzi. She had a big pair of headphones and had her head back. She almost looked like she was sleeping. It was the most peaceful Y/n has looked this entire time.
Jenna's instinct was to turn around; to make her escape without Y/n noticing her. She was still feeling weird about being left here alone, and more and more she was feeling like an intruder. Y/n hates her and the last thing Jenna should do is bother her and make it worse. However, a second voice was telling her to not leave.
'No. No...don't turn around. She's not going to do anything besides bitch and complain. You're used to that by now, you can handle it.'
Where the sudden confidence came from, Jenna doesn't know, but now she feels like it's too late to back out. She stealthily walks over to the jacuzzi, doing her best not to disturb Y/n.
"Don't you fucking dare."
Jenna felt her heart almost come to a stop. How did Y/n notice her? Surely she was quiet enough. She hadn't even gotten in yet.
Y/n sits up and lifts her sunglasses to stare at her brother's girlfriend. Isaac must've told her about the jacuzzi because there is no way she would be able to discover it on her own. Y/n was pissed, more so at her brother than Jenna. If she had been left alone in a stranger's home she probably would've gotten bored and done the same. However she's not keen on extending any grave to Jenna who is now disturbing her peace.
"How did you find this?"
"I-I..."
Of course Jenna had no answer. Y/n was only asking to taunt her.
"You know you're not supposed to be up here, right?"
"A-Are you?"
"Hm. Touché."
When she wasn't trying so hard to impress the parents, she actually had a little bite to her albeit she was still nervous in Y/n's presence. Since she was already here now, Y/n figures she'll let her in.
"Well, I guess we can both fit in here."
Jenna felt a weird sense of pride. Yes, Y/n still couldn't be bothered with her presence, but she had given in.
-
It was awkward, Y/n couldn't lie. She tried to ignore Jenna's presence, but it was hard to. Their legs would bump together every now and then to which Jenna would profusely apologize about. Y/n shrugged it off, but she found Jenna's constant apologizing to be insufferable. Why was she trying so hard to get Y/n to like her?
Curiosity began to nag at her for the first time since she met the girl.
"Jenna."
Jenna is taking back by Y/n actually calling her name. She thought that maybe it was either a mistake or she was imagining things. Until she calls her name again.
"Doesn't it kind of annoy you that my brother just left you stranded here?"
Yes.
"No, not really! He's been talking about seeing his friends for a while now so I'm happy for him!"
"He brought you here just so he could spend time with his boys...got it."
"I-I don't think it's like that Y/n."
"I think it is, Jenny."
Jenna flared her nostrils at Y/n purposefully calling her the wrong name. It was much better when there was awkward silence between them. Y/n had been poking at her since she arrived with her boyfriend. One of Jenna's friends had warned her about the possibility of dealing with a bitchy older sister or helicopter parent, but she had brushed it off. Yet the moment she entered the house Y/n had been dismissive of her. The one thing Jenna wanted out of this trip was to be liked by her boyfriend's family. She still feels like she can make Y/n like her.
"Isaac and I are really happy together, Y/n. Things aren't perfect, but he's trying! You should have more faith in him seeing that he's your brother and all."
"I'm on your side. If my boyfriend left me all alone I'd be pissed. You should be pissed."
The more Y/n brings it up, the less Jenna is able to push down her real feelings. She's not pissed like Y/n keeps suggesting, but she's disappointed that Isaac isn't really doing his best to make her feel included. Some of his friends have girlfriends, why couldn't they have done a group hang. She could've gotten a break from Y/n's coldness and met some other girls and possibly gotten closer to them. Instead she's forced to make this relationship between her and her boyfriend's older sister work.
"I guess it's a little annoying."
"I told you."
"But, it's not as annoying as you constantly being mean to me."
For the second time today Y/n was taken back by this newfound bravery from Jenna. It made her both grow respect for her and the urge to put her back in her place.
"It's just funny watching you be so desperate for approval. I can understand why you want my parents to like you, but they have low standards. But me? I'm just the older sister. I love Isaac to death but we aren't exactly the best of siblings. You'd be better kissing up to his friends and their girlfriends, not me."
Jenna sighs. She didn't expect Y/n to really understand (not because she can't, but because she doesn't want to). It was starting to annoy her more than upset her at this point.
"I just don't get why you don't like me? I'm not asking to be best friends, but is the bitchy act so important that you can't even be decent to me?"
The more time she spent around the twerp, the more Y/n became amused by her. Jenna reminds her of a teacher's pet, someone who needs to be liked by an important authority figure. Maybe Isaac talked her up as some big sister, but Y/n found their relationship to be typical, so the fawning from little Jenna was strange. However, the little devil on her shoulder is telling her to use it to her advantage. Jenna is a cute girl, and obviously unsatisfied in life. Y/n can see it in her eyes that she's not happy nor having a good time.
"Life isn't that simple, Jen. People aren't going to magically fall in love with you. Some things need to be earned." Y/n can see it written on Jenna's face that she's trying to think of ways to earn Y/n's respect. "But, you seem like the type that tries, I'll give you that."
"Well you could at least try to play nice," Jenna whispers under her breath, but she's too close for Y/n not to hear.
"I can play nice, but you might not like how I play."
The way she says the word 'play' is chilling. She's completely fucking around and Jenna is just letting her do so. She's a smart girl, and she knows what's up, but she's not bold enough to speak it out loud.
"I can show you though," Y/n continues. "If you're not scared. I would never make you do anything you don't want to do." Y/n's voice was still colored in her teasing tone, but she was being honest.
Jenna was alone, left behind by her boyfriend to go fuck around with his friends. Maybe it was the anger she felt towards him and the way he doesn't seem to care that much, but for the first time in her life she's willing to do something wrong. But it was for the approval of his boyfriend's big sister, so it's not completely fucked she rationalizes.
"What is it you had in mind?"
"Come over here, Jenna."
There wasn't time for waiting when Y/n was looking at her like that, her body was moving on its own. The bubbles fizz against her skin as she moves through the water. She doesn't think she's been so close to someone else like she is to Y/n right now. There is a certain intimacy that exists in this moment that Jenna isn't even sure she's felt in her relationship. Maybe she's not that into Isaac if she's willing to cheat on him just because he left her alone. Y/n's approval is now less about their relationship and more about Jenna herself.
"Have you ever eaten a girl out?" Y/n was bold in asking. She sort of regrets it when she sees the look on Jenna's face. "You don't have to answer that."
"No, no, it's okay. I've never been with another girl at all."
"Really? No drunken kisses? No weird sorority shit?"
Jenna shakes her head no, and Y/n believes her. She hates to be one of the girl's first, but so be it.
"Don't worry, I'll show you what to do."
The water cascades off Y/n's body as she lifts herself out of the jacuzzi. She rests her back against the house. Her legs spread as an invite for Jenna to come in. She was still covered by her bikini but it was little and it didn't leave much to the imagination. Jenna never had wandering eyes, but she can't deny that Y/n is hot.
Y/n hooks her fingers in her bikini to pull them to the side. Jenna can't pull her eyes away from Y/n's center as she exposes herself. Little droplets slide down her inner thigh and her pussy looks like a treat.
"Don't be shy." Y/n grabs the back of her head and guides her in closer.
Jenna places a hand on each of Y/n's thighs, unintentionally spreading them wider.
"Ooh, I knew you'd be an eager one."
Jenna looks up at her for more reassurance. Y/n's clit was dying to be touched, of course she was going to nod her head in encouragement.
"Touch me like you would touch yourself."
Now that's something Jenna knows all about. The only difference is that she's never been face to face with herself, but still she's trying -- she's come too far not to work hard.
"Oh fuck!"
Y/n nearly melts when Jenna presses her thumb against her clit. She's slow to start but very nimble as she massages the bundle of nerves. Y/n's fortitude slips a little as pleasure takes precedence over her game.
"Just like that," she whines in the most needy way.
The praise made the younger girl move her thumb faster and harder against Y/n's clit. Hearing her moan and watching her writhe made Jenna feel so much bolder. The older, meaner Y/n was mewling like a kitty cat for her. Jenna can feel Y/n's clit pulsing against her thumb and if it was up to her, Jenna would make her cum. Y/n, however, has other plans. She pulls Jenna's hand away from her sex. One look into each other's eyes and Jenna knows what Y/n wants. She pulls Jenna's hand away from her sex. One look into each other's eyes and Jenna knows what Y/n wants. She presses her face into her sex, her tongue not hesitating to dive into Y/n's warm cunt. She feels her head engulfed in Y/n's plush thighs before they're pulled away. Y/n has to tame herself because she wants to see Jenna's pretty face between her legs.
'First time my ass.'
Y/n can't help but be impressed by how good Jenna is doing. She licks her a little sloppily but the enthusiasm is welcomed. In fact she was eating her like she had been starved. She figured Jenna was repressed, but not this much.
Her tongue slides through her folds to collect her arousal. Every few seconds her tongue swipes past Y/n's opening and then back up to her clit. Y/n's legs tremble in excitement every time her clit is teased. She sort of edged herself by making Jenna stop earlier but she's feeling the insatiable need to release bubbles in her belly again. The purpose of this was to make Jenna kneel, but now her wet tongue is dragging Y/n down to her level. Both are hungry for pleasure.
Y/n pushes the stray hairs out of Jenna's face so it's not obscured. Jenna just looks so much prettier in between her legs.
"You're not so bad at this, Jenny."
It's hard to sound condescending towards someone when they're making you shiver with pleasure. Y/n can feel her clit pulsing against Jenna's tongue. She feels the fire in her belly as Jenna keeps going. There's something so sexy about how determined she is. Y/n can see how desperate she still is for approval deep in her eyes. Y/n begins to fantasize about what it would be like to take Jenna in different ways. She'd love to watch her tits bounce as she rides her strap. She can already imagine what her moans would sound like. The thoughts help drive Y/n over the edge and she cums against Jenna's tongue.
She feels a little bad that she can't control how her hips buck in pleasure. Like the newbie she is, Jenna doesn't hold onto Y/n's hips to control her. Instead she lets her mouth detach from Y/n's pussy. It's too bad because she already misses the taste of Y/n on her tongue. Jenna does her best not to seem so desperate, but her words betray her.
"W-Was that good?"
Y/n doesn't say anything, she just laughs.
"Come here."
Jenna listens, standing to face her boyfriend's sister. Y/n takes in her appearance; she looks a bit of a mess. Her bikini top somehow got fucked up in the process and exposes one of her nipples. Her chin is wet, and Y/n doesn't know if it's her own cum or if it's water from the Jacuzzi. Curiosity makes her desperate to know. She leans forward and kisses Jenna on her soft, pink lips. She feels Jenna stiffen from the unexpected kiss. When she pulls back Jenna looks like she's stuck on stupid.
"It was alright," Y/n lies. "I guess, good enough for you to deserve this."
Jenna furrows her brow in confusion until Y/n presses her body against hers and slips her hand down her bikini bottoms. A groan instantly escapes her mouth when she feels Y/n's hand press against her clit. Similar to earlier, Jenna's thighs wrap around Y/n's hand but unlike Y/n she doesn't draw back. She becomes this feral little thing who grinds herself against Y/n's hand. Y/n can't help but laugh at her again. She wasn't laughing to be mean or make her feel bad, no, she was loving this.
"When was the last time you came?"
"A m-month ago."
"Figures."
It was surprising that Jenna could still speak. There was a difference in how Y/n handled her and how Jenna handled Y/n. Y/n is used to this and it shows. She truly doesn't know much about Jenna, but she knows how to pick her apart. Y/n kisses her shoulder while she rubs her clit a little more faster now. Her hand was sticky with Jenna's arousal. She places one more kiss to her shoulder before she bends over to take the one exposed nipple in her mouth. Jenna throws her head back in ecstasy, and if it wasn't for Y/n pinning her to the wall of the jacuzzi she wouldn't be able to stand up.
"It feels like you're going to cum already."
Y/n slips two fingers inside of Jenna just to feel her walls pulsating against her. Jenna lets out a moan louder than she's ever heard from herself before. Y/n keeps sucking on her nipples while rubbing her sweet spot. Jenna feels like her senses are going to overload from all the pleasure. No one has given her body this much attention at once and it's a sad reminder for why she didn't really care about cheating on her boyfriend in the first place, with his sister no less.
Jenna is still too shy to vocalize how good Y/n is making her feel, but her moans tell the story for her. Y/n loves hearing every little whimper and groan that comes from her mouth. She can tell how close Jenna is just by the sounds. She pushes her fingers in deeper and curls them to massage her sweet spot. That has Jenna seeing stars and cumming on her fingers in seconds.
"Fuck!"
It's probably the first time Y/n has heard the girl cuss, and it sounds so delicious. She was so loud, neither of them caring about possibly getting caught. However, once both of their dazes of pleasure seemed to subside, they realized if they were to get caught like this it would be very ugly.
Y/n pulls her fingers out of Jenna's pussy and dips her hands in the water to wash them off.
"This never happened. Okay?"
Surprisingly it was Jenna who was trying to cover her bases. Y/n can see the worry in her eyes about this little moment between them ever being found out. She nods her head in agreement, and before she can say anything, Jenna is getting out of the jacuzzi. She's probably embarrassed because she didn't even say goodbye to Y/n. Y/n just watches her scurry away, bikini top still messed up and tracking water throughout her parents room. Y/n sighs, wondering why she always gets caught up with the odd ones. That's just life, she guesses.
——————————————————
This weekend really seemed to drag itself out and Y/n can't think of one moment where she was really able to totally relax.
Her parents came home shortly after she got out of the Jacuzzi, and Isaac was home an hour later. Of course her parents wanted to have some sort of family game night and Y/n was subject to 5 whole rounds of charades.
Not a single word was spoken between Y/n and Jenna for the rest of the trip. Isaac had his suspicions that they must've gotten into some sort of fight while everyone was gone because Jenna wouldn't even look at Y/n. He tried to ask Jenna about it but she was dismissive of him and just said she stayed in his room the entire night. Only did she partially tell the truth when he found her wet bikini in her room.
"I was in the jacuzzi and then she kicked me out. That's it. You're sister doesn't like me and I'm fine with that. I just want to get this weekend over without any problems."
It was funny seeing her little brother be so clueless to everything. Y/n loves him to death, but he's so shitty dealing with girls that she can't be surprised that one decided to cheat on him. She may be going to hell for allowing the situation to happen, but at least she had fun.
Just a few hours before she heads back to her apartment, she goes to the kitchen to find everyone else. Instead she just sees her mother there alone.
"Where's Isaac?"
"They left an hour ago."
"Oh, I was going to say goodbye."
"Really? It doesn't see like you really enjoyed your weekend with him or his girlfriend."
"That's not true, mom! I thought Jenna was alright."
"Isaac said you two got into a fight while we were gone."
Y/n pauses for a few seconds. Did Jenna say something? She left no love marks on her so he couldn't be insinuating that they got into a physical fight. Y/n was cautious as she spoke next.
"No we didn't! We even shared the jacuzzi for a little while. She's a little annoying, but after that I found her to be okay to be around."
Y/n's mother eyes her for a bit. She used to know her daughter so well, but after a few years away from home, her poker face is too hard to read.
"Well, I guess I'll overlook the fact that you two were using my jacuzzi which is only supposed to be for your father and I."
"C'mon mom, you know that is the worst kept secret in this house."
Y/n's mom sighs in defeat. There is something else to the story, but there's no use in pushing Y/n to say more. In a few more months they'll all be reunited again for Isaac's summer break, and Y/n's month-long visit. If they're still dating by that point then Jenna will tag along with Isaac too. It's something Y/n's mom is now apprehensive about, but Y/n is secretly looking forward to it. Hopefully her brother doesn't screw anything up so she'll be able to see Jenna again. Maybe next time they'll be able to enjoy each other in other ways.
"And you never know, mom, Jenna and I could end up being really good friends someday."
You called Caroline a white Bonnie, how so? Bonnie in my opinion had more of a consistent personality in the show. She was consistently written as a moral superhero for everyone. Caroline was whatever Plec needed her to be in the episode imo. A victim in one, a villain in another, one day she’s sleeping around with every man in the show (that’s an exaggeration, but yeah), the next day she’s slutshaming another girl for doing the exact same thing (Elena also slut shamed her for sleeping with/ being raped by Damon, even though Elena also sleeps around, so I guess it’s a running theme). One day she hates Klaus with all her heart, the next day she sleeps with him even though he killed her boyfriend’s mother. One day she’s a girls girl, the next day she’s a misogynistic mean girl. It really depended on what Plec thought was right for the plot of the episode. And am I the only one who thought that the Alaric/Caroline thing was off putting? Wasn’t he her teacher? Didn’t he date Elena’s surrogate mother AND her aunt? And so much more. And he admitted to having feelings for her, even though she was an adult at the time, it was… strange. And I didn’t like the plot line of her being pregnant with the twins without her consent. The forced pregnancy was just not my thing. Did she even give any sort of hint that she wanted to be a parent throughout the show? I don’t remember.
Okay, I’m free from work so let me break this down lol. This is long.
Not that I disagree with your thoughts on Caroline. I just wasn’t talking about her then. Tyler ends up dating Liv Parker in season 6, that’s his final relationship after Caroline. I agree, Caroline is just a self-insert for Julie turning her into whatever the show needs for that moment.
Penelope Mitchell/Liv was being set up to be Bonnie/Kat’s replacement since Julie admitted to wanting Bonnie permanent death to be in season 5. That tweet is still posted btw.
If Bonnie is no longer the resident witch and there are no more Bennett’s then of course the remaining witches are going to get the spotlight.
Tbh, the way tvdu fans ignore/ed Bonnie/Kat they wouldn’t have cared if she was fired to make room for another white and woman they found more desirable.
Candice has admitted that she found out she was pregnant called Julie and Julie from there rewrote season 7 to accommodate Candice’s pregnancy. Which tells you exactly how she feels on Kat getting full attention because Candice was not the last woman standing lol. Candice didn’t have to stop working I cannot stress this enough but she certainly was not the first woman to be pregnant onscreen and have the baby bump hidden.
Caroline never mentioned anything about children until that forced pregnancy. Alaric was married to Elena’s birth mother, then dated Jenna. Either way Calaric was a waste of time. Lmao.
White!Bonnie to clear up further confusions for you lol: are white witches who are abused for their magic or serve others but have agency. Ex: Freya her siblings, Davina with the NOLA witches or vampires, Hope’s a martyr for the Salvatore school, Liv is Bonnie and Rebekah mixed but even she didn’t want anything to do with magic because of what happened to her family lol.
Bonnie’s beautiful, compassionate, powerful, intelligent but she’s black. Not okay to be anything but white in tvdu. Instead of pushing Bonnie, the writers took these qualities and gave them to white and desirable women.
Hope that clears my comment up completely.
UR TAGS YEAH. Without marcia, sarah would not have 2 of her children. And it IS without marcia specifically. Because if it had been anyone else who was eow during that time they might not have chosen the heaps for jenna. And they probably wouldn't have stopped to talk with the child soldier put there specifically to make them look stupid. Like it was not the ExtraOrdinary Wizard who saved her children it was Marcia Overstrand. Honestly I am constantly thinking abt marcia+sarah being friends bc it would be fun but ignoring that. Sarah WOULD be so mad abt it. And it would be so funny
Sarah is so funny to me; Silas doesn't get along with Marcia because they have an EOW Apprentice Rivalry and they must bicker about it or they'll die. Sarah, seemingly, just doesn't like Marcia because she is taking up Septimus' time (and Marcia is arguably as much as or more his mother than Sarah!) and she's jealous. I like to think that, ironically, the more positive influence Marcia has in her kids' life the more she can't stand her.
Sarah learns from Jenna years later that the reason Boy 412 (Septimus!) had come with them to Aunt Zelda's in the first place was because Marcia dug him out of the snow and saved his life and carried him all the way upstairs in her arms. Then she remembers that Marcia had also saved Jenna from the assassin, twice, and something wars inside of her between immense gratitude and so much annoyance that it was Marcia of all people and she just sits in silence for minutes while her face grows red.
M3gan and a lonely child
“She’ll take care of the little things, so you can spend more time doing the things that matter.”
Tumblr media
From left to right, M3gan (Amie Donald), Gemma (Allison Williams), and Cady (Violet McGraw). Image via IMDb.
M3GAN, directed by Gerald Johnstone and written by Akela Cooper, is a great little horror film — it’s funny, it’s freaky, it’s well-paced, and obviously M3gan herself is a really great character who’s already had a lot of impact in memes and pop culture.
Cady (Violet McGraw), a quiet and self-effacing little girl, is orphaned when her parents are killed in a car accident, after which she’s sent to live with her Aunt Gemma (Allison Williams). Her aunt, a workaholic engineer at a famous toy company, pairs Cady up with the newest toy in development — M3GAN, standing for Model 3 Generative Android, a life-sized human doll that uses AI learning models to engage with, teach, care for, and otherwise be a companion to the children she’s paired with. M3GAN (played by Amie Donald, voiced by Jenna Davis) spends time with Cady while Gemma focuses for the majority of the film on her work, not realising that she’s neglecting Cady’s emotional needs or that M3gan’s learning model is more dangerous than she anticipated.
One thing I didn’t expect going into it was how much the central politics of the film would hit me and how hard — M3GAN throughout shows you a deeply unhappy, lonely little girl, and step-by-step goes through what has made her that way.
It would have been very easy for the film to basically treat M3GAN as a metaphor for the terrors of “screentime”, and how too much screentime harms a child — it stunts their growth! They become too used to screens! They become lonely and sad!
I don’t disagree that too much time using screens can be detrimental to anyone’s life and development, but it can’t be denied that screentime is frequently used as a boogeyman to distract from the real issue: that many caregivers give their children TV, computers, or their phones, because they don’t want to waste their time interacting with them. Children are stranded with screens and technology because their parents are busy, or tired, or just want them to be quiet. The technology itself is not the problem, but the desire to put this technology in your child’s hands and then walk away or mentally disengage so that you can do something else.
While there are a few moments in the film where Gemma (Allison Williams) treats M3gan with the casual disregard she might do an iPad, the core of most of the film is in that M3gan is making Cady feel cared for, which nobody else does.
Before I dig in, according to the NSPCC, these are the four main forms of child neglect:
Physical neglect. A child’s basic needs, such as food, clothing or shelter, are not met or they aren’t properly supervised or kept safe.
Educational neglect. A parent doesn’t ensure their child is given an education.
Emotional neglect. A child doesn’t get the nurture and stimulation they need. This could be through ignoring, humiliating, intimidating or isolating them.
Medical neglect. A child isn’t given proper health care. This includes dental care and refusing or ignoring medical recommendations.
Apart from medical neglect, in the course of M3gan, Cady experiences all of these forms of neglect from Gemma, and potentially from her parents as well. As well as Cady, a boy called Brandon (Cady’s bully who is killed by M3gan) also appears to be neglected by his mother, and Dewey the dog is also heavily neglected and not given appropriate care as a pet by Celia, Gemma’s neighbour.
The whole film is about desires to replace the basic responsibilities of caregiving with various alternatives, and also about avoiding the basic responsibilities of other relationships with each other and our communities.
M3gan’s not the cause of any of these, but a symptom, and a catalyst for their being shown more obviously.
Vampire Diaries: Plot + Problems
Is the Vampire Diaries fandom dead? If not, I'd like to say a few things. Before we start, I would like to say that I am a Twilight fan who loves making fun of Twilight, so my opinion is unfairly biased, but I digress. Here is my rant disguised as an analysis.
I was fairly young when the Vampire Diaries was aired, and growing up I would often confuse it for Twilight, since they were both vampire centred pieces of media that came out during the 2000s. I was a Twilight kid growing up, even if I didn't understand the plot, I liked cool scenes and stuff.
As a teen (say age 12-13) it was recommended to me a few times by my sister since I liked vampires, but I wasn't really into watching seasons long shows (especially since I was watching anime at the time, which tends to be long as hell), so I ended up doing some investigation before watching a few episodes. I didn't like the sound of the plot, it sounded like the beginning of a porno with a vampire kink added, not something I wanted to subject myself to. Girl has to decide between two brothers who are oh so hot, and the reason they can't be a threesome is literally because they are brothers. I skipped the first season, and then the second season and went straight into Klaus and his hybrids because that was the only worthwhile season for me. I skipped a bunch of scenes and episodes, but you get the idea.
Stefan is into Elena because she looks exactly like his ex-girlfriend who strung along his older brother. Elena finds this out but is still into him. These clowns. I also can't take Stefan seriously because of his eyebrows.
Damon and his dynamic with Klaus and Elijah was the only thing that kept my attention. Not just because I was thirsting over Ian Somerhalder and Joseph Morgan, but also because I loved watching their chemistry through the screen, only to be reminded that it was about Elena and her constant stringing of the Salvatore brothers. The whole show literally could've just been about Damon going against the Mikaelson family and I would watch the hell out of it. Any interaction Damon had with Mikaelsons was such a cinema moment.
I didn't find anything else going on to be as interesting, but I used to ship Jeremy with Tyler. Like, why was he so pressed about Jeremy Gilbert? Always antagonising Jeremy as soon as he saw him, that's some fruity behaviour.
Tumblr media
A lot of people love to point out the pedophila of Twilight - as they should - but Tvd had blatant pedophilia. You're telling me that Damon, who was turned at age 25, is trying to (and has) pipe a bunch of high schoolers who are 17-18, and no one batted an eye? I can understand if his emotions were turned off, as learned from the first season, but with his emotions on? Still going after high schoolers??? Ian Somerhalder was also 30/31 when the show started airing, and Nina Dobrev, Candice KIng, and Kat Graham were all 20-21. That's quite the age gap. Not saying he's a pedo, I'm just saying it's a little icky. Let's also address the way Rebekah had a relationship with Marcel despite being his adoptive aunt.
Elena and Marcel are victims.
The worst part is that Damon doesn't act like a teenager, he's so obviously an adult, and hangs with adults (Liz Forbes, Alaric, Jenna, Carol Lockwood, Mason Lockwood?). He even refers to the others (except Alaric) as nicknames you would use when referring to children. Sometimes he comes off as parental, which would've been funny. Unfortunately the story is about a girl having a brother fetish.
I'm aware that a lot of the fans love Katherine Pierce, and I must say, she's a great villain. But she pissed me off so much, getting so angered by people who don't even pay taxes. I get that she was turned at age 17, but home girl you could do better. It was also how Elena and the others handled Katherine. Ya'll are American enough to support Confederacy, nothing should scare you. Why don't ya'll just beat her ass? That would've been entertaining to see.
Tumblr media
You're also telling me he saw Bianca Lawson and still chose Katherine. Nothing against Nina Dobrev, but I would move on quickly if I saw Emily Bennett.
Kind of mad that they killed off Mason, and there was potential when they brought him back. You're gonna have boring ass Alaric, but not hot werewolf Mason Lockwood. Sure, let's have a bunch of vampires walking around, but 2 werewolves is asking for too much. Could've focused less on Matt Donovan and just have the show be more interesting with Damon and Mason learning to be mutual with each other if it means protecting their loved ones.
Also, the show was just... so boring. The camera quality, and the background music that sounded like something only a person who's never listened to mainstream music would listen to. I was being tortured. It was so mid.
I am going to lay out a scenario written by me, using dialogue that had potential.
Such as Damon going out of his way to get the tomb opened only to discover that Katherine isn't there, therefore becoming disillusioned with her and Elena by extension. Since a lot of viewers said Bonnie and Damon have chemistry (they do, I just don't ship them) I'm just gonna say that he should've sworn to protect her from then on, thus sealing the deal he made with Emily Bennett to protect the Bennett line and becoming her guardian. Damon still continuously butts heads with Stefan, causing Elena to think he's still romantically interested in her, when in reality Damon is just looking out for them in his own way (the typical, hardcore Damon way).
Since Bonnie goes into conflict with her friends anyways, she starts to withdraw from them. As they keep asking her to do spells for them, Damon steps in their way. It also would be cool if they kept his powers in the show, that way he can use his crow to report to her. Damon killing Jeremy to hurt Elena can actually just be misinterpreted by her self centred mindset, because he really did it to get back at him for hurting Bonnie. I might be messing up the timeline because I don't remember things very well, but that would've been great.
Bonnie doesn't go to the Mikaelson ball because she doesn't trust the family, so Damon attends as a sort of spy. Damon turning Abby into a vampire also has to do with the fact that he's supposed to protect the Bennetts. Damon is fine with dying but isn't going to let Stefan die, nor is he going to break his deal, so it was a tough decision on his end. While he does kill Abby she also lives, kinda. It takes a while for Bonnie to come to terms with this even though she's rightfully angry.
Back to Season 4 and 5 and stuff, I think it's around this time that the Originals started airing. Damon becoming more involved with Jeremy is his parentified side of him trying to guide him but is misread as him using Jeremy to get close to Elena.
Bonnie is waiting for college to start, and Damon suggests going to New Orleans because there are tons of witches there so she can get guidance on her powers, which is how Lucy can be reintroduced. (They had Lucy show up for like one episode just for her to never show up again.)
Marcel had a great entrance, and Klaus' went all colonist on him. Marcel got me curious about the Originals but then they pulled a Twilight on us and brought in Hope, that turned me off from the series so I don't know what goes on. I am aware that Klaus terrorised a few witches. So let's say Damon and Bonnie go to New Orleans for a little vacation + training for Bonnie before college starts, and they both find out what's going on in New Orleans. Damon meets Marcel, and while their personalities do kinda clash, they bond over their mutual distaste for Klaus, with Marcel even opening up about his past once he sees how protective and dutiful Damon is towards Bonnie.
Together they must find a way to bring an end to the Originals without killing every other vampire in existence. It could also be a thing where Damon reflects on his past as a confederate soldier and questions himself (this needs to be addressed).
Lucy trains Bonnie and Davina. The reason Damon is uncomfortable around Mikael drinking vampire blood is because of his time in Augustine. And Kol has met Damon, but doesn't remember him until one fateful bar fight. (I heard that someone had an idea where Damon and Kol met in a bar fight, but the idea was scrapped). Also an opportunity to get Kol have an infatuation with Bonnie, I remember that glance in the hallway.
I, ladies and gentlemen, have come up with a fanfiction that I will never write. I bet it's a better storyline than whatever happened in canon.
Can you make a story about Damon knowing reader likes him so he walks around shirtless to get a rise out of her.
I can't stare at you with everyone around | Damon Salvatore x Reader
my masterlist ↪M A S T E R L I S T
Tumblr media
Damon Salvatore, the hottest man in Mystic Falls.
I was his neighbour, also Elena's oldest sister so after Aunt Jenna's death her and Jer moved in with me in my townhouse which was nothing compared to the Salvatores.
To be fair, Elena and I practically lived with Stefan and Damon whilst Jeremy had the house to himself given the whole vampire hunter status and although Damon was a vampire that liked to get on everyones nerves, he did respect me and Elena enough not to kill our youngest sibling.
I've had a crush on Damon for as long as I can remember, I think thats a bad thing. Damon is a bad guy so no body should be able to care for him the way that I do.
"Alright, do you think Caroline would notice if there was 89 red balloons." Bonnie said over the speaker phone, Elena looks to me laughing and I chuckle "It's Caroline we are talking about, Of course she would notice." Elena responded.
Elena and I had been baking for the dance later on tonight, "So I suppose, Red Velvet cupcakes would go with the red balloons, pretty ballsy." I say "Yeah I guess so." Elena laughs.
"What are you guys doing?" Damon stumbles in with a bottle of bourbon "Y/n and I are baking, for the dance, you know the dance you were suppose to help with?" Elena questions Damon.
"Right, Well I didn't exactly feel like helping." Damon nods to us, he had been walking around shirtless for a couple of days while me, Elena and Bonnie were planning stuff at their house.
"Just like you didn't feel like putting on a shirt today?" I ask him "Or yesterday." I state "And the day before" Elena chimes in "Right and the day before that" I nod agreeing with her.
"So what? I don't feel like wearing a shirt around my house, whose gonna stop me. It's my house?" Damon throws his arms up.
Although I did just finish complaining about the half naked vampire in front of me and my little sister, I didn't mind the sight. The sight being his sculpted torso, each ab being placed perfectly not to mention the way he doesn't even have to mention it for somebody to look at his abs.
"y/n" a muffled voice said behind me, the voice continued to say my name, slowly pulling me back to reality "yes, yes what." I spin around slightly agitated. "try it" Elena says stuffing the cupcake into my mouth.
I bite it, swallowing it turning back to Damon "it's tasty" I say still staring at him whilst he stared at my sister "i don't uh like cakes though. you know that, give damon one." I smile to her and she nods giving one to Damon and he starts eating it.
"oh these are great, are you sure caroline needs them?" he asks and I nod "she needs them like you need that shirt I mentioned earlier." I mumbled taking the rubbish out of his hand and putting it in a bin.
"I don't get why I need to wear a shirt, is there something you haven't seen before?" he asks walking up next to me "Oh Matt just called I'll be right back." Elena says answering her phone and walking out of the kitchen.
"It's just children in the house, Damon, a shirt should be a rule when there is children." I say rinsing off the baking tray and bowl, placing them into the dishwasher.
"I think there is another reason." he says closing the dishwasher with his leg "well n- hey" I look at him annoyed punching his chest. My fist touching his bare skin sending shivers down my spine.
"tell me, before I compel it out of you." he says, his tone getting lower than usual "luckily vervain exists and you used to have a basement full of it." I sigh.
"So then what's the problem?" he asks, the heat basically radiating off of my head as he asks me once more 'what's the problem with no shirt.'
"god its because I find you hot, and I can't stare at you with everyone around including my sister who is dating your brother. It's just weird." I say smacking him out of the way of the dishwasher continuing to place the rinsed dishes in there.
"you find me hot?" he says "well thats not the only thing, but yes you're good looking." I say "and if that whole no shirt thing was to get a rise out of my, I will torture you till deaths end." glaring at him as he steps back kind of frightened by what I just said "jesus christ y/n, no it wasn't" he chuckles.
"I know it was, you little liar." narrowing my eyes at him, closing the dishwasher. "now can you start this thing, im young but dishwashers are confusing." I say rubbing the sweat off my forehead point to the dishwasher and he scoffs "you find me hot" he says under his breath, starting the dishwasher cycle.
"are you going to put that shirt on now?" I ask him and he nods "pft no. I like to know your eyes are on me and not any other man. Makes me special." he winks walking out of the room.
God I just can't shake him, shirt or not.
Klaroline Fic: The Wolf III [14/21]
Tumblr media
Summary: Months after their return to New Orleans, Klaus and Caroline try to settle into a semblance of normalcy, while Elijah struggles to forgive his brother's sins. But a mysterious prophecy that foretells the downfall of the Mikaelson family brings them all together in a war that will reopen ancient wounds and see each of the siblings doomed: one by friend, one by foe and one by family.
[It's The Originals Season 3, but Caroline had Klaus' baby, now she's a vampire and they are back in New Orleans after a stint in Mystic Falls. It's mostly about Klaroline, obviously.]
--
S03E14 An Old Friend Calls
"You collect trophies from all your victims?" Freya’s question comes tinged with reproach. Klaus finds he doesn’t much care for her tone.
"Letters to their loved ones, to be specific," Elijah adds.
Klaus slants a glare at his judgmental elder siblings as he inspects the pile of letters he just got out of the safe. "It was a phase," he grumbles. He wasn't asking for their opinions on his choice of collectibles when he decided to share these mementos with them.
Whenever it was possible, if one of his victims - not the word he would use to describe some of these scoundrels, mind you - was of any particular meaning to him, he'd try to find a souvenir among their personal belongings. Letters to loved ones were always his favorites. It was the closest thing to keeping their hearts preserved.
There's something very intimate about it. Very powerful. As though he still held their lives in his hands, in that precious second right before the light went out in their eyes. If his siblings had a dust more of artistic sensibility, they'd see the poetry of it.
Sadly, Klaus was forced to abandon his hobby. Not only because the technological advances made it harder to find any meaningful written memorabilia - and saving mobiles and laptops simply does not hold the same lyrical value - but also because he has the distinct impression that, few exceptions aside, people have become dreadfully shallow and more boring over time. He doubts the likes of sweet aunt Jenna or Mayor Lockwood ever produced anything worthy of making it into his safe.
Sighing, I placed my mug on the counter before looking up at Mingi and San.
"Alright, out with it. What's going on with the pair of you? Do I have something on my face? Because the two of you have been staring at me since we woke up."
The two looked at each other for a minute, silently debating who should ask the question.
"So," Mingi looked back at me, cautiously opening his mouth. "Did you have any weird dreams last night, like you were floating or something? Or feel something weird?"
"Huh? What?"
"You were just very, umm, active? You were moving around quite a bit."
Tilting my head to the side, "No dreams or anything, it was actually one of the most peaceful nights I've had in a long time."
"Right, we were just -"
'Ding Dong'
Furrowing my brows, I leaned forward and looked down the corridor.
"Was that – is that our doorbell?"
Looking back at the boys, they both looked just as confused as I did.
San nodded, "I believe so, yes."
"Since when have we had a door -"
'Ding Dong'
"Oop, never mind, let me just answer that real quick."
Hurrying down the corridor, I opened the large wooden door and was met with a familiar-looking woman.
"Hi, can I help you with anything?"
"Good morning, dear, I'm here for Yeosang."
Stepping aside, I held the door open, "He's in town right now, but he should be back soon. Why don't you come in and wait for him."
Closing the door, I led her into the living room.
"Would you like anything to drink? Water? Tea?"
"That’s quite alright dear." The woman looked at me for a minute before recognition lit up in her eyes. "Your Jenna's niece, aren't you? Y/N, was it?"
Smiling slightly, I was a bit confused, "Yes, that's right. Were you and my Aunt Jenna close?"
"We were best friends. I used to come up every weekend and she would always mention you at some point. Jenna was really fond of you."
Laughing, I nodded, "That does sound like her."
"Oh, where are my manners. I'm Janice Hunter. You can call me Mrs Hunter."
Ah, that's why she looked familiar. She was the one who wanted to talk to Yeosang yesterday when we were in town.
"Hey, who was it at the -" Mingi and San froze at the archway. "- door."
Mrs Hunter turned to look at the newcomers and the moment she saw them, a smile spread across her face.
"San! Mingi! Oh, it's so good to see you again! It's been so long!"
Arching a brow, I tilted my head to the side, my eyes travelling between the three of them.
"You, uh, you three know each other?"
San snapped out of whatever daze he was in and hastily nodded, "Yeah! Remember when Mingi and I would use to go to that little, like, café slash bookstore to study? Well, Mrs Hunter owned it."
Mrs Hunter looked back and forth at us before her gaze landed on San and Mingi, "Yes. I used to own a coffee shop with my husband."
Squinting my eyes at the two, I nodded, still sceptical at what they were saying, "Right."
Hearing an engine in the distance, I glanced out the window, "Ah, that would be the boys. Excuse me for a minute, I'm just gonna go help them."
Opening the door, I walked towards the car, where the boys were getting everything out of the boot.
"Hey, Yeo?"
"Yeah?"
Taking the bags from his grasp, I motioned my head to the house, "Mrs Hunter is in the living room waiting for you."
Yeosang blinked, "I'm sorry, she's what?"
"She's in the living room. Waiting."
Yeosang made a face before jogging into the house.
Looking away from his figure, I looked back at Jongho.
"Where are we bringing these to?"
"The old servant's quarter at the back of the house."
"The old ser – eh?"
Jongho chuckled as he started walking along a path at the side of the house.
"Come on. I'll show you where it is. We use it as extra storage space now."
Tumblr media
Yeosang led Mrs Hunter into the study on the third floor.
"What brings you here today, Janice?"
Yeosang sat down at a desk, Mrs Hunter in front of him.
"Remember what I said yesterday? I found out who has the head."
Yeosang leaned in closer.
"Garett Killins has it. You know him, right? He's the -"
Yeosang's face darkened at the mention of the name.
"Of course, I know him."
"Well, the pack are in the area right now. It's best to make a move soon. Though I must warn you, they are guarding the head. It won't be easy to get."
Yeosang nodded, "Thank you, Janice, we'll figure something out."
Mrs Hunter got up from the chair, "Well, I'll be off then. I still have to head over to the blood bank to get some more packs."
Hearing the door shut, Yeosang got up from the chair and made his way to the window.
"I take it that you heard?"
Yeosang's gaze never left Seonghwa's figure as a someone materialised beside him.
"Of course. We best make a plan quickly. I want my head as far away from those mutts as possible."
Tumblr media
After we finished dinner, I went into the living room to look for my phone before spotting it on the mantelpiece.
Slipping the phone into my pocket, my gaze landed on the little wooden box beside it. Gently unclasping it, I opened the lid and saw an old metal key inside. Picking it up, I saw something engraved in the handle. Basement.
Frowning, I started to walk around. I didn’t know we had a basement here.
Walking into the corridor, I looked at all the doors lined along it. Stairs, dining room, ballroom, parlour. I knew all these.
Moving into the kitchen, I sat down at the table, leaning into the chair as I crossed my arms across my chest. Where else could there be a door?
Turning my neck aside, I loosened some of the tension in my muscles.
Looking back ahead, my gaze landed on the tapestry next to the fridge. It was long enough to cover a door.
Getting up, I walked over to it and pushed it aside. There was nothing. It was just a wall.
Running my hand over the wood, I paused when felt a draft.
Okay. Maybe not just a wall.
Moving my hand up, I felt along the wooden panels until one of them wobbled under my fingertips. Gently pushing into the panel, it swung open. Behind the wooden panels was a worn oak door.
Holding up the key, I slid it into the lock and turned.
‘Click’
Turning the doorknob, I pushed the door open. In front of me was a dimly lit stone passage.
Closing the wooden panel and door behind me, I moved along the passage. Stopping at the top of some metal stairs that spiralled downwards.
Pulling out my phone, I turned on the flashlight and looked down. These stairs went deeper than I thought.
Carefully making my way down, I noticed drawings and runes carved into the stone wall. They looked exactly like those engraved on the handrails in the stairway.
Reaching the bottom, I flipped the light switch and watched as rows of lights flickered on, one after another.
The basement was huge, and it had corridors that led to God knows where. Walking to the middle of the room, I looked down at the table there. It was a large, circular wooden table that had jars and books on it. On two sides of the room were walls covered in shelves, one had old leather-bound books and the other had jars of liquid and herbs.
Walking over to the books, I scanned over them. The Green Witch: Your Complete Guide to the Natural Magic of Herbs, Flowers, Essential Oils and More. Witchcraft: A Handbook of Magic Spells and Potions.
Why does Aunt Jenna have a basement full of witch stuff?
Raising a brow, I pulled out ‘The Witches Book of Self-Care’.
"Huh. Even witches had a self-care guide."
Curious, I flipped through the pages, stopping when I saw a letter.
Taking it out, I noticed that it was addressed to me.
I just knew you were going to pick this book.
Hello, Y/N.
If you're reading this, then it's because I'm dead. This means that Rora Manor and everything inside it will be yours.
I know that you probably have a lot of questions, and you'll find the answers to them, just not in this letter.
What I'm going to say is going to be a shock to you, but you must believe me on this.
Your parents and I have kept a secret from you. We didn't think you could handle it. But seeing as we're all gone. You have to know.
We're witches.
Our family have worked with hunters for centuries. More specifically, the Harpers.
Quickly reading through the letter, I shook my head in disbelief.
Was this some sort of joke?
Clutching the letter in my hand, I made my way upstairs and towards the living room.
As I made my way closer to the living room, I could hear people talking in hushed voices. Slowing down, I quietly walked over.
"...how long do we have left?" "she's almost ready to...." "I may not have enough..."
"What's going on?"
Everyone whipped their head around to look at me, but my gaze never left the blond man standing in the middle of the room.
"You – Your- Your"
The man grinned before walking, no, floating over to where I was.
"Hello, I'm Hongjoong."
Blinking, I looked through his slightly transparent form.
"You –You're supposed to be dead."
"Not quite. My body's just in pieces."
Walking past him, I stared at the others with wide eyes, "Please tell me I haven't gone crazy and that you can see him."
Wooyoung quickly got up and ushered me into a seat, afraid that I was going to faint.
"Listen, we know it's a-"
Wooyoung was cut off by someone opening the front door.
"We're back. The pack of wol-"
Yunho stopped in his tracks when he saw me, causing San to bump into him.
"What are you do- oh."
The second my eyes landed on their form my heart stopped. They were covered in blood.
"Is that – Is that blood?"
"Don't worry. It's not theirs."
Turning my head to look at Yeosang, he looked confused as to why everyone was staring at him.
"What? I'm just trying to ease her worry."
Shaking my head, "I – That doesn't – If anything, it makes me more worried."
Closing my eyes, I put my head in my hands.
"You know," Jongho moved from where he was leaning against the wall. "You're a lot more calm than I thought you would be."
"If I went into hysterics now, I might just not come out of it."
Tumblr media
The next few hours were filled with a lot of explaining and if I'm being honest, I'm still hoping that this is just a very long nightmare.
"Okay, I think I've got it. So, Yunho, Jongho and Yeosang are vampires. Wooyoung, Seonghwa and Hongjoong are witches. Hongjoong is only temporarily a ghost because his body is in bits. This is where I come in. I have some powerful magic that is currently awakening, and once it's at its full power, I can do some finger waving and piece the body back together."
Looking up, I saw them all nod.
"San is a hunter from the Harper family and Mingi is a human turned phoenix. The only reason San is still alive and Mingi got turned into a phoenix is because you eight are connected and when you tried to save San and Mingi's life, something happened and now everyone can't die."
Seeing everyone nod again I threw my head back.
"And here I thought Supernatural's plot was ridiculous."
Standing up, I made my way towards the stairs, "I think that's enough for one day. I'm gonna go to bed and hopefully, when I wake up in the morning, I'll just find out all of this was just some weird dream. Goodnight."
Walking up the stairs, I looked at the pictures that hung along the wall. When my gaze landed on one of a forest, a sudden dizziness took over me, and before I know it, everything went black.
The last thing I heard was the panicked shouts from the boys.
Familiar Faces- A New Start
The beginning of the actual story, this is getting away from me, I've lost count of my Nano word count and the plan has gone out the window.
---
Today will be different, Elena had told herself.
She kept the words going through her head like a mantra, even as she arrived to the kitchen to find Elijah already halfway through his tea, plate empty other than the crumbs and ignoring the fact Kit was climbing from his lap to the table to lick the plate, too consumed with his notebook.
His dreams have gotten worse since that night, while she was relieved that he hadn’t had another episode in months, his new random sleep patterns left him looking tired and worn every morning and the fact he had stopped telling her about them hurt.
“It’s time I learn to deal alone, Elena.” he had told her as if that would stop her worrying, like it wasn’t also that fact he had spent most the summer sleeping, when not dragged out by Caroline’s arranged boys days, that he had stopped going to Bonnie’s Grams for their twice monthly teas.
The last one may have been the cause of his increased nightmares.
“No cats on the table Elijah.” Jenna reminded him when she turned to see the tiny black cat.
Her brother blinked down in confusion at the cat as he pulled himself from his notes, he sighed before he pulled the cat to his chest.
“Toast. I can make Toast.” Jenna offers her.
“It's all about the Coffee, Aunt Jenna.” she tells her as she watches her aunt rushes around the table, she was trying.
“Is there coffee?” Jeremy asks as he arrives in the kitchen, she runs her eyes over him to check, the way she hasn’t been able to stop everytime she sees him now, she knows it annoys him now but she does the same to Elijah.
“Tea’s better for you.” Elijah speaks for the first time, getting up from the table with Kit to place her back in his room, and closing the door before the black and white hellion could escape.
“Your first day of school and I'm totally unprepared.” Jenna worried “Lunch money?” she offered.
“ I'm good.” Elena tells her as both her brothers take the money, most likely the money Elijah took would end up in her bag before lunch.
“Anything else? A number two pencil? What am I missing?”
“Don't you have a big presentation today?” she asks.
“ I'm meeting with my thesis advisor at...now.” Jenna pulled her hair free before swearing softly “Crap!”
“Then go. We'll be fine.” she reassured her before turning to Jeremy “You okay?”
Today will be different, she reminded herself even as Jeremy snapped back at her concern.
“Don't start.”
“Jeremy.” Elijah calls a hint of warning, before a plastic box is thrown towards his face.
Jeremy scrabbled to catch the sandwiches, Elijah smiled in a way she couldn’t help but envious of, if she wasn’t very aware that Elijah had spent years perfecting it “Manners.” he added as Jeremy glared before their little brother gave in, sighing and walking out.
Elijah offered her a softer smile as packed his notebook and pens back into his book bag as she returned to her coffee.
—--
As soon as Bonnie arrived to pick them up Elijah slipped his earphones in and gave up attempting to be sociable, Bonnie sighed but they had both gotten used to the fact Caroline was the only one that could force his attention.
Elena would be jealous if she didn’t know it was because last time Elijah had ignored Caroline she had signed him up for the cheer squad and over the summer she had taken to surprising Elijah with boys days out, convincing Tyler and Matt to arrive at their door in a way Elijah couldn’t escape or avoid without being rude.
As awkward as it was seeing Matt as he ignored her it got Elijah out of his room and away from the house, which was worth it.
“So Grams is telling me I'm psychic. Our ancestors were from Salem, witches and all that, I know, crazy, but she's going on and on about it, and I'm like, put this woman in a home already!”
Elena smiled as tried to pay attention to Bonnie as she spoke, one of them had to and Elijah had already decided it wasn’t him, however she found her attention waning.
“Elena! Back in the car.” Bonnie’s voice called her back.
“I did it again, didn't I? I--I'm sorry, Bonnie. You were telling me that…”
“That I'm psychic now.”
“Right. Okay, then predict something. About me.” she replied.
“ I see…” Bonnie’s prediction was cut off as something it the window and Bonnie slammed on the brakes.
There was a sound of a loud thump as Elijah’s head hit the window.
“Fuck.” he swore as they came to a stop and Elena tried to calm her heart.
“What was that?!” Bonnie demanded  “Oh, my god! Elena, are you okay?”
“It's okay. I'm fine.” she responded before checking behind them “Elijah?”
“Minor headache, it’s not like I haven't had worse. What happened?” he asked.
“It was like a bird or something. It came out of nowhere.” Bonnie explained as she watched Elena with concern
“Really, I can't be freaked out by cars for the rest of my life.” Elena tells her giving her another smile.
“I predict this year is going to be kick ass.” Bonnie replies as she smiles back “And I predict all the sad and dark times are over and you are going to be beyond happy.” She promises and Elena nods a true smile taking place.
“Why are we predicting things?” Elijah asks as they start driving again.
“I’m a psychic.” Bonnie told him proudly,
“What?” came the flat reply, but he made no attempt to replace his earbuds so they took it as a win as he looked between them.
“This is why you should listen to people giving you a ride.” Bonne lectured before adding “Also, stop skipping tea with Grams, I'm blaming you for how strange she’s gotten lately.”
—-
“Major lack of male real estate. No offence Elijah.” Bonnie tells them as they get into the school.
“None taken.” Elijah tells her, and Elena smiles when she notes he hadn’t returned to his music since the car.
“Look at the shower curtain on Kelly Beech. She looks like a hot — can I still say "tranny mess"? Bonnie continued.
“No, that's over.” she tells her
“ Ahh, find a man, coin a phrase. It's a busy year.” Bonnie says when they get to their lockers, Elena accepts the small box of lunch Elijah hands her, she glances at it to see some sort of salad before Elena waves at Matt, she’s not surprised when he ignores her.
“He hates me.” she sighs leaning against the lockers.
“He doesn’t.” Elijah tells her like he has all summer but Elijah doesn’t believe anyone could hate her so he’s alway been bais.
“That's not hate.” Bonnie adds to Elijah “That's "you dumped me, but I'm too cool to show it, but secretly I'm listening to Air Supply's greatest hits."
“Elena, Elijah.” Caroline calls when she sees them, “Oh, my god.”
They barely get anymore of a warning before Caroline pulls them both into a tight hug.
“How are you?” she asks looking between them, “Oh, it's so good to see you.” She turns away to ask Bonnie before either of them can reply “How are they? Are they good?
“Caroline, we're right here.” she reminds her “And I'm fine. Thank you.” she answers herself.
“Really?” Caroline stares at her.
“Yes, I could have done without you setting Tyler and Matt on me.” Elijah complains.
“You needed to get out.” she tells Elijah with an honest to god finger-wag. “Elena I can trust with Bonnie, you no.”
Elena doesn’t manage to contain the giggle at Elijah's offended expression.
“ Oh, you poor thing.” she hears before Caroline pulls her into a hug again.
“Okay, Caroline.” she says as Caroline squeezes her before letting her go.
” Oh! Okay, see you guys later?” Caroline tells them as she pulls Elijah away with her. “I’m borrowing the boy, we need to speak to the coach about the spot on the squad.”
“Wait- No -no squad!” Elijah exclaimed “Caroline no! Elena, Bonnie, help.” called back but didn’t make an actual attempt to escape.
 They both shared a laugh as the pair vanished down the hall.
Chapter 1
Tumblr media
Ever since their last encounter, Max began to pay close attention to his hot neighbor and her annoying offspring. He learned that she was a single mother and had some kind of night job since a woman in her mid thirties - who he later found out to be her older sister - came over to stay with the child overnight three times a week.
He tried to approach her, to get some intimacy, but since he apparently somehow offended her little beastie that day in the garage, she made sure to ignore him every time he tried to greet her.
But this though…this was his chance to make up for his “rudeness” and somehow finally convince the sexy next door neighbor to come over for dinner. The kid was running barefoot around the street, pulling an old plastic toy dog by a string behind her.
Max waited, and when she ran in front of his garage, he called:
“Psssst. Hey, little rascal! Over here”
The little girl stopped in her tracks and stared at Max, who was holding a cherry popsicle in his hand.
“Hi” Max smiled with fake innocence “Does your mom know you’re out here by yourself?”
“Yes. And she told me that if you talked to me I should tell her so she can come over here and kick your ass”
Max narrowed his eyes at the little girl’s audacity “Shouldn’t that three letter word earn you fifty cents in the cussing jar?”
“I don’t know what a three letter word is. I just know how to write ‘mommy’, ‘sun’ and my name”.
He took a deep sigh before rolling his eyes in annoyance “Why am I not surprised?” He offered her the popsicle and the little girl gladly accepted.
In less than two minutes she had already successfully painted her whole face a dark cherry red color. Max quickly glanced at her dirt and dust covered feet and winced “How does your mom let you walk around barefoot? That’s gross”
“Antibodies” She hiccuped.
“Great, so you don’t know how to write ‘ass’ but know what antibodies are?”
“Mommy said they help you to not get sick, and she also says that walking around barefoot helps you to get them because if we have them then we don’t need to go to the hospital.”
Max was about to say something but the little girl continued “I don’t like the hospital. There’s too many people, it’s noisy, scary and it smells funny”
“Ok?” He frowned and quickly shook his head before plastering a fake smile on his face “So what’s your name and how old are you?”
The girl hiccuped again before answering “I’m five years old” She showed him five fingers “and my name is Violet. V-I-O-L-“
“Yeah yeah yeah. I know how to spell it, ok? I’m Max” He offered his hand and the little girl just stared at him in confusion.
“Yeah, you’re Mr. Fancy Shoes…that’s nice. I don’t have fancy shoes. I do have Barbie sandals that my aunt Jenna got for me-”
“Cool” Max squatted down to the ground and asked “Would you like to be my friend, rascal- I mean, Violet?”
Violet’s blue eyes narrowed, copying Max’s early actions “Are you gonna be mean to me again? Because mommy said you were mean to me”
“I wasn’t being mean, you see, your mom got it all wrong. I was actually trying to be your friend” Max smiled and it took Violet a few seconds to consider his proposal.
“Okay, Mr. Fancy Shoes, I want to be your friend” She smiled “But if you are mean to me I’ll make sure to tell mommy so she can come over and kick your ass! She’s very good at that”.
“Weirdly enough, I don’t doubt that” Max sighed before he went back into his house to get another cherry popsicle for Violet.
Little cub was an easy one to win, now momma bear…well, Max had a feeling it would take him more than a couple cherry popsicles to win her over.
Chapter 5
-Mystic Falls, Virginia-
Jessica gazed at her aunt and her siblings before she went wide eyed as she was suddenly hugged by Elena out of all people. It took her a full minute to register that not only was her sister hugging her, but Elena was also crying into her shoulder. Jessica furrowed her brow confused. Why would Elena be crying for her out of all people? Could Elena know about what Stefan and Damon did to her? The 15 year old immortal swallowed thickly as Elena pulled away from her. “What was that for?” she asked softly slightly confused.
Elena gazed at her sister and murmured, “I know.” She swallowed thickly and sniffed and wiped at her eyes. “I know what they did to you, and I couldn’t bear to stay near them. Rose has been helping me take measures to make they can’t come into the house anymore as well as protect Jeremy, Jenna, and Matt.” She wrapped an arm around Jessica and looked at Elijah swallowing thickly. “Thank you…for saving her and helping her.” The Doppelganger smiled as Elijah nodded to her and turned to face her Aunt who happily invited Jessica into the house.
Jenna looked at Elijah and hummed softly before glancing at Elena. “Should I also invite him in?” the redhead asked raising an eyebrow seeing how Jessica seemed to see him as some sort of parental figure. She looked at Jeremy who gave a shrug as he didn’t really know Elijah and then at Elena who was quiet for a moment. “Let’s talk it over inside,” she said to her nieces and nephew before looking at the Original. “Give us like ten minutes okay,” she told him and gently shut the door after her nieces came inside.
Jessica bit her lip and looked at her family as she stood to the side inhaling sharply as Elena gave her a mug that had blood from a blood bag that had been warmed up in the microwave by Rose. She gave a shy smile to her sister and to Rose in thanks as she was hungry and her anxiety was making her hunger worse. She sat at the table and looked at Jenna as their guardian asked if Elijah was trustworthy. Jessica nodded shyly. “I think he is….then again maybe I am a little biased because he has been helping me the past almost week. He spent a lot of money on me, and his witches have been really nice to me. He even got me a Daylight Anklet to wear as well as the ring…” Jessica began rambling about everything Elijah has done for her the past week and blushed as she realized her siblings and Jenna and even Rose were staring at her very amused. “Shush your faces,” she grumbled at them hiding her face in her mug of blood. “This shouldn’t really be about me especially since my emotions are all over the place at the moment,” she whispered lightly and tensed for a moment as Jeremy hugged her. She held her breath as she slowly hugged him back. She didn’t want to hurt anyone of her family members, and knew that being around them would help her gain more control. However, she had a feeling that her cravings were going to be hard to manage for the rest of eternity. She knew that Elijah had control, but he had told her it took him centuries to truly gain control. She was scared that she wouldn’t be able to get a handle on being a vampire very quickly. She wanted to be able to have some kind of normalcy back in her life since she was now dead and immortal for all time. Jessica blinked as Rose placed a hand on her shoulder.
“Elijah keeps his word. I have a feeling he has promised to show Jessica what she needs to be a vampire. He will do anything and everything to make sure she is stronger than when she was human,” she stated smiling softly as she looked down at Jessica. The 500 year old vampire gave Jessica’s shoulder a gentle squeeze. She knew Elijah could easily get retribution for anyone who betrayed his family, but she – like Elijah – wanted to help Jessica become the best version of herself now that she was a vampire. “Plus, normally wherever Elijah is, Klaus is close behind. Something tells me they had a falling out over the last hundred years meaning that Klaus is more than likely not with Elijah. Now, that does not mean that Klaus isn’t having people watch Elijah to keep track of his movements, but we can’t really know until Klaus makes himself known.”
Jenna bit her lip lightly and hummed for a moment before she nodded and went to the door to see Elijah waiting on the porch gazing out at the trees in front of the Gilbert home. “Can you promise me both Jessica and Elena will be safe?” she asked him her voice sounding as though his life depended on his answer.
Elijah gazed at her and nodded. “You have my word,” he responded back to her. He slowly stepped over the threshold as he was invited into the Gilbert home by Jenna. He gave a nod to Rose as well as the Doppelganger in greeting. “You are correct in your deduction Rose-Marie. Niklaus and I are not on the best terms. In fact, it was why I was looking for the Petrova Doppelganger. I plan to kill Niklaus for what he did to the rest of our family.” He could feel Jessica’s concerned expression gazing at him and sat between Jenna and Elena seeing they were all confused. “I am not the only Original Vampire….my siblings are also Orignals.” He cracked a smirk at the shocked expression of the Doppelganger. “I believe the term you’re looking for is…OMG,” he said with a hint of sass and sarcasm. Elijah – while watching over Jessica – was slowly coming to terms with what he hid behind the red door of his mind. The door wasn’t fully open, but watching over and training a newborn vampire brought out something in him that was forcing him to see himself in a different light than the painting he had tried to create to cover the door and lock it away. The past thousand years he had spent trying to hide away behind a painting…a façade that he was better than his siblings…who killed and took what they wanted. He had killed plenty over the last millennium, and he was not innocent. However, he was going to try his best to be good. He was going to do everything in his power to overcome the demons he had spent 1000 years running from. The brown haired Original glanced at Rose who seemed to notice the change in Elijah. He gave a subtle nod to the younger vampire and looked back out at the Gilbert family as Elena spoke up.
“Wait…what exactly did Klaus do to your family?” Elena asked tentatively. She was nervous now because if Klaus killed Elijah’s family then what lengths would Klaus go to get her and kill her.
“Niklaus…he placed our siblings in caskets and threw them into the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean,” he spoke lowly looking away from them as his emotions rose to the surface. He gave a heavy sigh. “Our siblings our gone due to his treacherous ways of paranoia and betrayal.”
Jessica frowned slightly as she watched Elijah. From the stories that he had told her, the idea of Klaus dropping his siblings into the ocean seemed wrong. The concept of him acting like that sat wrong with her. She didn’t fully understand why, but Jessica knew that Klaus couldn’t have killed his siblings…his family that easily. “Didn’t you say that Mikael was after all of you especially Klaus? What if he used those daggers you told me about to protect your family from your psychotic father?” she asked before her brain caught up with what she said. She went wide eyed and looked down at her now empty mug and swallowed thickly.
Elijah stared at Jessica for a long moment. What Jessica said had merit. The idea of Niklaus daggering their siblings to protect them from Mikael was very plausible. It could also be why Niklaus was so hell bent on breaking his curse and becoming a hybrid. The Original closed his eyes for a moment as he tried to gather his thoughts. He knew Kol always caused a ruckus wherever he was. Rebekah was too easily swayed by her emotions. Finn was always more of a supporter of their mother and hated what they had been turned into. He opened his eyes as he sat back in his seat as if he had been hit in the face by reality itself. He looked at Jessica and gave a small smile. “To be honest I never truly thought of it that way. I….I always believed that Niklaus had lost his humanity over the years…not that he was protecting us. You might be onto something Jessica,” he said lightly and looked at Rose-Marie. “How confident are you that you can protect the Gilbert Family Rose-Marie?” he asked raising an eyebrow at her. The 500 year old vampire seemed very protective of the Gilberts probably due to what Elena had discovered about the Salvatore brothers.
“From Damon and Stefan Salvatore and vampire that is not as old as I am….rather confident. However, there is the problem of my situation of not being able to walk in the sun and the Salvatores are,” she said leaning against the island counter as she looked at Elijah swallowing thickly. She hoped that maybe Elijah would be able to get her a piece of Daylight jewelry by helping and protecting the Gilberts.
“I will be able to take care of that for you…if you can prove yourself and help Jessica as well. There are many things that I have to do especially if Niklaus will be arriving soon as word has probably gotten out that the Petrova Doppelganger exists once again. Be warned he will try to take what he wants by force, but I do have a way for you to stay alive after the ritual. I will try to find Niklaus before he comes to Mystic Falls, but I do not know where he is at the moment,” Elijah explained as he stood and fixed his suit jacket nodding to them before smiling at Jessica. “Rose-Marie has much to teach you while I am gone. I will keep in contact with you; however, if you ever need anything do not hesitate to call me. The same goes for all of you as well.”
Jessica bit her lip and stood suddenly hugging Elijah tightly. “Thank you,” she murmured softly into his chest. She pulled away slightly and smiled softly at him. “Thank you for everything.”
“Of course Jessica,” he murmured back. He knows that he didn’t sire her, but he felt that same way that Niklaus felt about Marcellus...he felt as though she was his daughter and ward even though her family was alive and well. He place a gentle kiss on the crown of her hair and left the Gilbert home quickly to try to track down his younger brother.
Jessica smiled softly to herself ad turned to Rose. “So…it looks like I am your Padawan now,” she quipped and giggled as her family and Rose snorted at her comment. “What lessons shall I learn from you master?” she teased biting her lip trying not to smile as she heard Rose groan in slight annoyance.
I don’t get why people call Elena selfish and always slander her, it’s incredibly confusing to me tbh. Of course, Elena certainly is more flawed than a surface-level interpretation would suggest but how many times has she sacrificed herself for her friends safety and lives at the cost of her own ?? And been concerned with their happiness above her own ? She didn’t complain once about being put into a sleeping beauty spell, she volunteered herself as a lamb in Klaus’s ritual, she even put herself in the situation where she and Klaus had mutually beneficial partnerships and negotiated on her loved ones’ behalf, asking the man who killed her aunt for his help, abandoning pride, safety, and righteous hatred of Klaus on Jenna’s, as well as her other victimized loved ones’, behalf because those loved ones, would benefit (which is really intelligent ? and also admirable ? so miss me with the bullshit about Elena sitting on her ass and letting her friends do the work because if that’s what her haters think happened, we were not watching the same show).
Elena goes out of her way to protect her friends and sacrifices everything for her loved ones. I think she has a very deep sadness that makes her very heavy to some people. People prefer characters who are lighter, that's why Caroline is a favourite over Bonnie and Elena.
But yes, they interpreted her character wrong. She is not a pick me nor a cry baby. Elena is incredibly strong and brave.
FO4 Fanfic intro pt 2
Ok, so part two is edited. Some things; ~ On one hand I do like it, might not be my best writing, but it was fun to write. (that's what fan fic is all about right? having fun?) ~ On the other hand, well this is just the intro (PART TWO of the intro), setting things up, establishing things that are important to the story later on. ~ Overthinking me is worried it's too lengthy ~ There is going to be a part 3, because... well long. ~ I might have settled on a title; Union but still on the fence about it.
Length: 1800 words
Warnings: discussions of chem addiction and the aftermath of violence and murder. child kidnapping.
2275 late summer
The baby shrieked in fury over her toy, a handmade little dolly, being denied her. Leo laughed and handed it back to her before glancing at his parents. They were speaking in hushed tones, hard to hear over the baby's noises. "Heard they hit the Christianson farm," His father was saying. "How bad was it?" "Both Jill and Mayberry were killed. The children," His father said something Leo couldn't hear. His mother's expression was horrified. "How long ago?" "Few weeks. You know them, they didn't have much to do with anyone." His father was fixing one of his tools. He shook his head. "They'd been," he glanced towards Leo and dropped his voice lower. Leo shuddered, he could guess what was said. The Christianson's were a reclusive family. It would have been weeks before anyone realized something was wrong. He tapped his baby sister's nose, frowning. "Mom, can we go visit Cal?" He asked glancing towards his parents. He hadn't seen his cousin in months. The last time he'd gone to visit, Aunt Mary and Uncle Bob had refused to let him into the house. Cal, they said, was grounded. He'd had one quick glimpse of his cousin at the window, her face pale and her eyes sad. His mother looked at him, something on her face frightened him. She looked at his father who shook his head. "They wouldn't be that stupid." His father said quickly. But there was the same look on his face too. Leo swallowed. "Lets go see Cal." Jenna said, her smile looking forced. She lifted the baby into her arms and glanced at her husband. "Shall we?"
Uncle Bob and Aunt Mary's house was outside the protective walls of the town. It was little more than a shack in the woods. The path leading to it was unkempt and wound through the trees, lined with discarded junk. The clearing was wide, and also filled with scavenged junk and trash. Leo's father stopped at the edge of the clearing, motioning Leo and Jenna to stay while he moved forward. The shack's door hung open, broken, and laying across the doorway was one of the large attack dogs that always frightened Leo. As he watched his father stride closer to the porch, Leo realized that there were several mounds around the filth filled yard. Mounds of bloody fur. Uncle Bob had several large guard dogs. They were all dead. Then a smell hit him and he wrinkled his nose, inching closer to his mother. Death, the clearing smelled of death. "Bob?" His father called, stepping carefully over the dead dog and into the shack. "Mary?" Leo gripped his mother's hand. If there was anything dangerous he'd need to make sure his mother and baby sister were safe. When his father stepped back out onto the porch his expression somber. "David?" His mother started to step towards the shack but his father shook his head. "Don't. Go back to town, tell Kent that raiders his the place." His father's voice was strange. "Dad, where's Cal?" Leo asked quickly, fear filling him. His father looked at him. "Escort your mother to town. I'll look for Cal. She's smart, she may be hiding out in the woods." Leo nodded. Of course, he had to protect his mother. Jenna was no match for the creatures that sometimes swarmed the trees. He saluted his father, the way Great-Grandpa had taught him, and urged his mother back along the path, missing the tragic look his parents shared. ~*~
Jenna glared at the assembled townsfolk. "Rugar warned you it wouldn't end well. And it hasn't. Both Mary and Bob are dead, their home was ransacked." "There was still a lot of chem usage too." Kent, the head of the local militia for their town added. "There's jet and psycho all over the place." "What about Calisto?" Someone asked. Jenna's throat closed off, unable to answer. "No sign of her." David, Jenna's husband, snarled. He stepped closer to the Mayor, his face a mask of rage. The Mayor took a discrete step back. "You put a babe into the home of chem-heads despite warnings not to. She should have come to us, or hell anyone else in the family. Now she's in the hands of raiders or slavers, and god only know what's going to happen to her!" "I'm glad Rugur wasn't alive to see this." Jenna murmured. David nodded. "You've failed her. And our family." Chani said stepping over. Her usual serene demeanor gone. "You've failed every person in this town." "Now, wait…" The Mayor began but he was shouted down by several of the other residents. David crossed his arms, raising his voice. "I think it's time for a new mayor. If he'll thoughtlessly pass a child to a known pair of chem heads, what else will he do to place our precious children in danger?" Silence echoed as Kent stepped over, holding his hand out. "All in favor of Mayor Mavis to step down, hands raised." A sea of hands shot into the air. "Opposed?" No one raised their hands. Jenna nodded grimly as Mavis glared at them. Hanging round his neck on a thick cord was a large medal, the symbol of his status, he removed it slowly, then dropped it to the ground instead of handing it to Kent. He said nothing as he turned and walked away to a rising tide of hissing and boos. ~*~
Leo watched the adults from where he sat with his cousins. His cousins, ranging from late teens to toddler age were as upset as he was. The older ones were trying to figure out how to stage a rescue when Jenna came over, quietly taking the baby from Leo. She sat down beside him and looked over the cousins, her expression grave. "I need you all to make me a promise." She said after they all settled down. Large eyes peered at her, they nodded. "You will not, under any circumstances, try to follow the raiders." "But," Tyrell, Cal's second oldest brother began. Jenna shook her head and held up her hand, forestalling any argument. "I know, Ty, it tears me up to think about what must be happening to her." She looked down and took a deep breath. "We think we know where they're headed, and David, Toric and Kent, and most of the hunting party are going to try to follow. We can't have you all scattering like rad roaches." She looked at each of them, her eyes filled with unshed tears. "We can't loose any more of you. Now promise me, you especially Ty, that you won't try to take matters into your own hands." The silence stretched. Ty shook his head, standing. "I can't promise that. That's my baby sister." His hands were tight fists. "I failed her. It's my duty to find her. I'll go with Uncle David and Toric and the others, whether they want me to or not." Ty glanced around and took a deep breath. "Aden is missing. I think," He swallowed. "I think Aden had something to do with it." Aden was the eldest of Ty and Calisto's siblings, and like his parents had struggled with chem addiction. His absence had struck Leo as odd. Jenna studied him her shoulders sagging. "Okay. Tell David that." She looked back at the others as Ty strode towards the gathering hunting party. "The rest of you, I need that promise." One by one, reluctantly, they promised. Leo hesitated, looking towards where Ty stood speaking with Toric and his father. The newly elected mayor, his grandmother, Chani, was talking with them. "You're too young to join them." Jenna said softly. Leo jerked his gaze back at his mother and shook his head. "No, I'm not." He pushed himself up and forced himself to walk over to them, knees weak and hands trembling. They all fell silent as soon as he got there. "I'm going too." "You're too little." Toric started. "Leo and Cal are good friends." Ty, said quickly, resting his hand on Leo's shoulder. "He should come too." "It's too dangerous." David said, clasping his son's other shoulder. "I need someone here to keep an eye on your mother." "The rest of the town is here." Leo crossed his arms, forcing himself to look up at his father. He'd never outright defied him. "I can shoot, I can hunt. I've helped hunt ferals and I can help hunt these raiders." Someone snickered. "He's a damn good shot too." Kent added. David sighed, his shoulders sagging a bit. "You must listen to the other hunters." Chani said firmly. Leo glanced at his grandmother in surprise. He hadn't expected her to side with him. "Of course." He said. David sighed again. "There are things out there that I'd rather you not see." "He'll see them soon enough." Toric shrugged. "The longer we discuss it, the further away they get." Leo pressed. "Either I go with you now, or I follow behind, but I'm going. I have to help Cal." Leo gritted his teeth as the other hunters reluctantly agreed.
~*~ *Fourteen days later.
Jenna stood on the porch of her house, watching as the hunting party returned. Fourteen days. It had been fourteen long days, wondering, worrying. Jenna bit her lip, watching David and Leo walk slowly up to the house. Shoulders slumped, faces somber. David met her eyes and shook his head as he stepped onto the porch. Leo didn't even look at her, hurrying past her, going into the house. Jenna swallowed, shifted the baby to her other hip and pulled David into a tight hug. He was shaking as they parted, eyes full of unshed tears. "We followed them all the way into the Commonwealth. Lost them outside of Boston, couldn't pick up their trial." David slowly sat on the top step, rubbing his hand over his face. "We failed her." His voice broke. Jenna sat beside him, the baby lunging for her father. David took her, brushing a kiss across her forehead, giving her a weak smile. "You tried." Jenna said gently, swallowing back tears. He nodded, glancing at her and frowned, reaching over to grip her bandaged hand. She flinched but met his eyes. "What happened?" "Mother and I had a conversation with Mavis after you left." She said slowly, looking down at the bandages. David stared at her, a slight smile on his lips. "It didn't go well?" Jenna shrugged. "Not for him." She sighed and met his eyes. "He now has a permanently dilated left eye, at least that's what the doctor called it. And I don't think his nose will ever be straight again." He stared at her, shock on his face before a smile spread slowly across his face. He leaned over, kissing her deeply. "God, I wish I could have seen that." His smile faded and he sighed, staring towards the town's wall. Jenna leaned against him, torn between relief that he and Leo were home, and despair that they hadn't been able to rescue Cal. "If Calisto is still alive, she's out of the family's reach." He said after a moment, voice low. He looked back at her. "I don't know what else we can do." "Hope." Jenna said, absently touching his cheek with her uninjured hand. "That's all we can do now, is hope." ~*~ Thanks for reading, I hope y'all enjoyed reading it, I know I enjoyed writing it. I need to do some touch up on the final part of the intro, I'll get it up as soon as I have it ready. As always comments and thoughts are welcome. And I do have a bottle of brain and eye bleach on standby if you need it :P * I know it says Fourteen days, but I'm starting to think it takes longer to get from their town to Boston and back. I will have to adjust that later.
