#fionna and cake spoilers #what hits me a little is how similar fionna and simon's stories are in the case of finding nuance in their lives #when both have gone through their separate but still valid pain no matter the extent it had been #and its that they met each other they get to see how it compares and they're no less worth of the peace and fun they dreamed of #even in the form of simplicity and just being normal #“i wouldn't have met THE fionna and cake” “we wouldn't have met THE simon petrikov”#it hits me harder that after the dandelion scene would've been their last time seeing each other physically #and how assuring simon sounded when fionna didn't know what to do with the literal world in her hands #tho im sure prismo isnt that much of a rule jerk lol i still drew out the revelation anyway with this tiniest addition #also the fact fionna's world is influenced by simon's thought processes and conditions so now things are a little better for both of them #fionna the human #fionna campbell #simon petrikov #qiiarts #the lil flashback of #betty grof #fionna and cake #adventure time

God, i wish i was a bird. Like, i look at those fuckers and think 'why i can't fly'. I never thought i would be so jealous of an animal. Like i don't even care if i get turned into a seagull, i want to have wings.

Leaf should up their genetics game bcs I'm going to choke them if they can't turn humans into birds in the near future.

You just know those effs who describe beautiful bright lights have never had a migraine before.

#Also fun story #I'm past my 20s and only recently learned that you do not have to have #The Aural migraine symptoms for it to be a migraine #In fact it turns out that those are kind of rare among migraines #So indeed it turns out that you can have a really bad migraine without losing the ability to see clearly.#My whole family (that had migraines) gets the Aurual ones... so that was like the defining feature of what a migraine was to me.#(I get them but I also theoretically get the other ones probably... just thought they were headaches.)#Migraines #Bright Lights #Sighted People Problems #(FYI there's plenty of Blind people who do have some vision or because of how they lost vision are randomly woken up by bright lights...)#So even if you're blind... potentially there's still no escape from Aural visions (which sucks. That was like a big pro to blindness.#When I used to imagine it.)#Sometimes I'd hope for my eyeballs to get scooped out during migraines.#tw body horror eyes.#But now I know that unless they also burned down the Ocular nerve and potentially part of the brain... still wouldn't escape them.#That absolutely sucks. Blind people should at least get the benefit of no Aural Migraines.

now i've watched a fair amount of d&d i've started to pick up on the differences between dm style i think

like brennan IS all the bad guys. every game he dms is brennan vs the players. he makes npcs and battles that make his friends throw things at him and he smirks the whole time. he makes them tell him their worst fears and then he makes them do it. and it's awful and amazing and really funny

matt IS exandria. his characters and battles never feel written or constructed, they just feel like things that already existed in the world. it's all about verisimilitude with him, and he's amazing at it. he tends to fade into the background and let the players react to the story and it makes everything he does incredibly cinematic

aabria dms like she's just another player at the table reacting to the story, right up until someone gets lulled into a false sense of security and tries to fool around and THEN she throws a curveball by making them deal with the consequences of their choices. she's like oh you think that's funny?? then i'm about to be hilarious, bitch. and she keeps getting away with it bc she's just that good!

basically, brennan's an evil bastard, matt's the world, and aabria's the queen of consequences

Jason Todd is stealing the tires off of the Batmobile, when a man walks up on him doing it.

The man stares at him, nods, and just says "I'll keep a look out, man, go go go!"

So Jason does, and he gets all four tires with the man's help.

The man introduces himself as Danny Foley, and asks Jason if he wants to go get some burgers.

Danny, meanwhile, has decided that yes. This is the child he will adopt. He just has to convince the kid of that.

Batman has to call in Alfred to bring around his backup vehicle with spare tires, and little Timmy gets some wonderful shots of Batman having to replace his own tires.

CONCEPT DOODLES for an AU I dabbled in with a few friends after the winter king episode but kinda forgot about after the Fionna and Cake finale... I decided to revisit it and explore a little more after coming to terms with everything LOL... So, it's another "Winter King doesn't die immediately after his crown gets nuked" AU, but THIS TIME he's just dying really slowly (like Simon in the Betty episode) and ALSO joins Fionna, Cake, and Simon on their search for magic crowns. There's no logic behind this tbh, we just wanted to put him through The Horrors. And make them all friends. But mostly The Horrors. :) (he only gets to live as a treat, because I think he's funny).
