i feel like in middle and high school checking out like. all the books that had the main character go through serious trauma like suicide abuse kidnapping forced indoctrination and like. other shit should have put me on a list or some shit 

#PERSONAL #i just vaugely remembered a book about this girl getting KIDNAPPED KIDNAPPED by this grown ass man #and it was NOT cute #girl tried to kill herself a few times #and the end was like and she was like 12 :) #and i remember reading that soo much #also one about a kid escaping his alcoholic parents who ABUSED the shit out of him and his siblings #nearly killed his mom when she kidnapped his sister and got her drunk to keep her quiet #also again just lots of books about abuse and suicide and dealing with thag #also educational books on abuse i should have been on a fuckinf LIST
