What's you biggest inspiration for your comic series? what was the "aha!" moment where you were like "yeah let's do this??" Your art style is super distinct and professional looking too! have you ever considered trying to sell your comic in a physical form even if in small quantities?? or like working in the comic industry professionally? :3

OK SO. Honestly I first made the whole idea of my comic when I was 9 so it was a huge mix of my interests from then, including Sailor Moon, Pokemon, and AtLA! Over the years it’s changed a LOT story wise! Now I get inspired by just fantasy stuff in general! I make my own creatures and stuff so it’s pretty much just me jumbling things I enjoy onto the canvas xD

Sabrinia was originally a human from this village, she was a gardener and got picked on by Geffory and others. She snuck into the forest at night to prove herself and got transported into this fantasy world, where Psychic Kitty finds her and takes care of her. There’s more to it but it’s a lot so I’ll leave it at that! (It was very similar to TOH now that I think about it lol)

I’ve always worked on my comic and it’s ideas/concepts since then, I have folders, sketchbooks and binders FULL of art from way back then! I decided to make it be a comic because I had always loved drawing comics since I was little. I made Sonic comics on lined paper and stuff LOL… But at first I wanted to make it a video game! Like a 3DS game! I decided not to since I was a child and I didn’t understand gaming stuff, so I went with the next best thing that I enjoyed and that I loved to do! Comics!

Thank you so much I am. So happy with how far my art has come since then 😭 I used to not draw noses (Sabrinia was totally NOSELESS!!) so I say I’ve definitely improved XDD

I also do want to sell my comic physically at some point! That is one of my dreams lol! I’d probably do it myself, I’d want to self publish it and copyright it beforehand! Same I’d I want to sell any merch! Torches & Beyond means so much to me so I kinda worry about selling stuff and all that lol. It’s more of a personal thing/story I’ve built up BUT it would be extremely cool to have it printed ! I may make a few copies to gift to close friends if anything for now :)

I’ve had some thoughts about working for comics professionally, but from what I’ve seen it’s all freelance! Which is super cool but I’m not sure if I could juggle doing freelance stuff with my already freelance comics and art I like to do. It would be very cool though!

But yeah thank you so so so much for this ask you made my day 😭😭😭 Anything you put your mind to you can do! That’s how I’ve gotten where I am with… everything I do! Cosplay especially lol! Cosplay is really difficult when you’re first figuring it out but honestly do it for yourself, no one else. Do it because you enjoy it! That’s my main mentality with all my creative things I do! It makes it fun and rewarding when you finish a big project !!

Now that is some fine ass hell make-up work if I do so say myself, and a fantastic resting bitch face to boot! I’ve been trying to practice with my own palettes, you ever use the Etude House ones? They have a super nice rouge palette called Cake Shop and it’s mad pretty hOLD ON

Hands down, it’s my favorite lip & rouge palette!

One day I’ll show off some of my cosplay pics on here, I used to do a lot of it before this quarantine set in--But I’ll likely showcase my Fallen Rosemary Secretary Edition cosplay once the outfit arrives here, it should finally be sending out in May I think?

My studies are actually going very well, thank you! The topic is health psychology, which is actually a subject I’m fairly well-versed in so I’m having a ball even if I have to roast myself when addressing those good old unhealthy behaviors like not sleeping enough or eating well, aha. Otherwise though, this class has been very cathartic even if some of my classmates’ papers that I have to grade make me strongly contemplate strangling someone. Sleep’s been hard, but I’ve been definitely making the effort to drink water even if in the form of freshly cold brewed tea since I’ll shrivel up otherwise in this erratic Jersey weather.

So I just saw the announcement about the EN server shutting down or at least dicontinued (hopefully just for now) and I might just burst into tears 🥲 I want to put my thoughts or rather feelings of the journy up until now on here to come down but maybe also as some form of comfort for anyone who needs it? It's very long and might have some broken english as it's not my first language so do keep it in mind please 😅

Anyways, I started A3! last year on march 7th because I saw a youtube video of people cosplaying Sakuya and Sakyo. At taht point, I already knew of A3! somewhere in my distant memories back when it was JP only. I decided to try out the game since I was getting bored of my current mobile games and the few reviews I could find of it were relatively positive. I had no idea just what a big part of my life this game was about the become 🤧

Btw I'm listening to some A3! songs right now, specifically Sakuya's 2nd character song, and it's not helping me 😢 So at the time, lockdown just started 2 days ago, which left me with a lot of time playing it and, I kid you not, I gulfed the main story down like it was the last slice of cake at home. I have 2 siblings. I think I finished it in a week or so despite it being only unlockable through leveling up, and if my memory serves me right, you need to be around lvl 75 to unlock all 4 episodes. As one can see, I was VERY invested in the story. It was just so....nice? I don't know how to exactly describe it but I was surprised by how likable everyone was. Of course I didn't hold such strong feelings for everyone back then as I do now but I was intrigued enough back then of nearly everyone, which is kind of rather rare in such types of games, no? At least for me it is, although I haven't played terribly a lot (Love Live, MLQC, Mystic Messenger).

I really like how the story actually continues through the events and how it alternated between stories exploring certain characters more (show events) and stories focusing on just them having fun. Getting to know everyone bit by bit and seeing how everyone grows closer to each other, not only within their respective troupes but the whole theater, makes me really all warm and fuzzy and it's found family, what more could you want?

Also, I really like Izumi, our dear MC 🥰 Even though she's supposed to be our self-insert, I found myself really enjoying reading her thoughts, observing her reactions to other characters' shenanigans (like her 'I do not see' to the members plan of faking their identity to bail Citron out lol) and just....her personality. Trying not to digress here but she has a lot more personality than other MCs in these joseimuke games and it makes her interactions with others not only bearable but even enjoyable. I'm not saying that this is what a perfect MC looks like or that she's superior to bland self-inserts. After all, it depends on the story, gameplay and other things. It's just a nice bonus I'm very grateful for. I mean, I got really emotional when Izumi performed with the other staff members all of the plays the actors have put out so far for the first anniversary. Her realizing she gained a new dream for her lost one just really took my heart, broke it in thousand pieces and then mended it again.

I also love A3! songs ❤ I did wonder how they would work in this franchise since it's not about idols but actors, though I guess there was nothing to worry about. I really like the duets because it's always a different duo and hearing them singing together, harmonizing with each other, complimenting each other, just fills me with undescribable joy. Of course the songs also slap pretty much every time. Even by limiting my options to 1 troupe, I still wouldn't be able to pick only one favourite (I like the majority of Winter's song tho, like Shoutai is just 🤌 and my sibling blasted Unmasked non-stop so I can't get it outta my head anymore). Gosh, I was so excited for 'Double Solitaire' since it would complete trilogy of the Hyodosakas singing together. I was really looking forward to getting all the songs and I was even saving up for Summer Troupe's 6th play.

If I had to describe the game A3! in one word, it'd be "charming". Coming to game itself, there are so many little quirks, that on their own aren't anything groundbreaking or big but together give the game its own flair. Live 2D is pretty common to see nowdays in games because it brings the characters to life through movements like 3D models. But I think A3! is able to illustrate it just as well, if not even better with their 2D sprites. Citron moonwalked by flipping the image over and sliding across the screen, Hisoka appeared out of nowhere by coming from above the screen, they do a little jump when they're happy, they go down a bit when they're sad. And that's just things with their whole sprite. The little drops when Tsuzuru finds himself in an awkward situation or is worried, the little note when Sakuya is happy, the hearts when Kazunari is lowkey flirting with Izumi, it's so cute! Or Omi's O.O face, Taichi's crying face (the usual one, not his face when he cried out of guilt of betraying Mankai), Yuki's done expression, H O M A R E AHA! They each have at least one personalized expression and also quote. Can you hear Kazunari's Yoropiko~☆, Citron's humming, Taichi's loud ass whining and scream of terror, Tsumugi's awkawrd laugh? It's brimming with life.

But also the UI (?how it looks) is joyful. The main screen's background cascading shapes changes depending from which Troupe your current character is from, the loading screen has sakura petals and a bird, the colors are very bright and saturated fitting to the overall color palette of the whole game, the little notebook during practice showing all the necessary infomation and a little sketch by the characters. It's just really charming.

As frustrating as it was, not getting halloween Tsuzuru after 110 pulls or Valentine Omi after 120, it was my first time ever understanding why gachas are called hellholes. Through my strong connections to the characters, their cards automatically appealed to me more. But the art is also so good???? Azuma is always looking flawless obviously but Omi's unbloomed Wolf card, where he is standing in the sunset looking at his camera or Kazunari's Shinobi card, unbloomed all concentrated on his panting and bloomed all shiny smiling like the fireworks in the background? Breathtaking everytime. I also appreciate it not needing multiple copies to unlock the whole backstage story.

I think I'm slowly running out of things to say, which might be good for whoever managed to come this far. I have to say though, A3! helped me through the pandemic. Being a perfect distraction to the world's chaos and more importantly my crushing schoolwork and worries for personal future. I'm a very pessimistic person but seeing the characters overcoming their hardships through the help of their to-be "family" and just being happy doing trouble, gave me a little hope and light for a bit every day. I came to cherish everyone, even those I like the least. I haven't felt like this since Mystic Messenger, which was also a game, that helped me through a difficult time. I can only wish to a shooting star, that it's not the end for the EN Server yet. While yes, the JP server is thriving and I could just switch to reading fantranslation, through my experience, my enjoyment considerably sinks playing like that and I wish to fully enjoy A3!.

Hello anon! Thank you for popping in! Any excuse to talk about attractive ladies and I’ll take it ahaha. 💕

Firstly I just wanted to add a little preface. Obviously you can end up attracted to people you don’t always expect to. I mainly gravitate more towards neutral or tomboy / masculine women. But I have been attracted to a lot of feminine women as well aha.

I honestly really like women who are taller then me. I’m only 160cm though so most people in general are taller then me lolol. Dental hygiene is a big thing for me. Not perfect teeth. Just someone who looks after them. For the longest time I’ve really been into women with short hair. But since TikTok I’m also REALLY about that high ponytail with a bandana sort of style. Ladies in sweaters and jumpers are super cute too! And you can never go wrong with a dapper lady ahaha. But most of all I just love seeing women wear and look the way that makes them happy.

In terms of personality I sadly think I’m a bit picky sometimes. But above all else I value people who are emotionally intelligent/empathetic. Being able to to show kindness and patience for other people is important to me. I’m a pretty indecisive person so I like people who can sort of just say “hey okay we are doing this” but not in a bossy way. I like knowing people care about my opinion and will ask me for my input, but also being okay with making a decision if need be. I would like for someone to have a similar interest as me. But in saying that I don’t like people that are mean about their hobbies lol. I’ve noticed a lot of anime and manga fans that I’ve seen at conventions can sometimes just be really mean and intense about their hobbies. Which makes me uncomfortable. I’m more comfortable with people who are kind about the way they like things. I’d love to have someone who I can talk to books about and just chill at home with. I’m a creative person so I think it would be fun if I had a GF and she liked creative things too. I don’t care about someone’s academic background, but that said , I like to have really deep and intelligent conversations. Not all the time but I do need that ahah. So I’d like someone who could have those. Regardless of what type of education they may or may not have had.

I honestly just like soft and kind ladies who are a bit more assertive then I am but still sort of on my wave length to being more introverted if that makes sense.

But this is all just a general thing too! Based on my past crushes and what I tend to find attractive. But you can never control this sort of stuff. I don’t think attraction is really something you can explain. It just happens. I mean in high school I had a huge crush on a sort of friend’s mother for a long time and she was a super loud and VERY feminine woman. I’ve also liked a lady who wore lots of makeup and had really long fake nails. Which was a first for me. I’ve also been attracted to a lot of more (I don’t know how else to explain this lol) anime/cosplay looking tomboy women on tinder and then after finding out they do drugs and smoke suddenly that attraction is gone. Or I’ve seen very just comfortable, doesn’t really stand out of the crowd, type of women and genuinely been starstruck on how beautiful and attractive I thought they were or blown away by how much I loved their personality. So I think atttacrion is a hard thing to really define lol.

MC Who is Really Bad at Makeup

Jumin

You and Jumin had been married for a couple of months. He made sure to hire the best fashion designers and makeup artists to make you look unbelievable for your wedding. When you first started living at Jumin’s studio, he assumed that you couldn’t bring your makeup from Rika’s apartment, so you didn’t bother. Shortly after the RFA party, he realised that you never wore makeup, even when he offered to purchase you high quality products. He was confused- all girls wear makeup, don’t they? He began taking a closer look at his female colleagues, leading to some angry outbursts from Jaehee- apparently women didn’t like to be stared at. The fact that you didn’t wear makeup didn’t bother him, he just found it odd. Whenever you had outings, he would always just hire someone to do your hair and makeup and the media never really paid mind to your face. It wasn’t until you were meeting Jumin’s father at a fancy restaurant and your makeup artist had to cancel last minute that you had done your makeup by yourself. You never went through the acne stage of puberty, so you never bothered wearing it. The last time you did it yourself was as a little kid when playing with makeup at a sleepover party.  

Now, you were stuck, standing in front of the mirror, surrounded by beauty supplies. “What’s that?” You thought to yourself, picking up what looked like an eyeshadow pallet. “Highlighter? And this isn’t a brand name… I guess I’m not using this.” You skipped a lot of steps a woman of your age would typically go through to do her makeup as you simply didn’t understand the purpose. You gave up on the eyeliner because it was crooked no matter how many times you’ve done it and you almost poked your eye out on several occasions; you gave up on concealer because what the fuck is a concealer?

When you were finally done, you sighed. “Good enough.” You fixed your hair that the hairstylist had completed about an hour ago and smacked your lips together after one last coat of lipstick.

You walked out of the bathroom, into your bedroom to show your husband. Upon seeing your face, he turned pale as a ghost. “Um… it’s nice, kitten… what a unique choice of colours for your eyes. Are you sure this is practical?” You assumed that purple eyeshadow would be a good asset to your purple dress. Unfortunately, the purple from the eyeshadow kit Jumin gave you was very subtle when placed on the face so you needed to apply multiple layers. “I believe you have applied too much foundation, as well… you look like Elizabeth III.” Elizabeth meowed from between his dress shoes.

“Um…” you didn’t know what to say. You weren’t angry at him. Your husband was always incredibly blunt, which either made arguments extremely easy to be sorted out or even easier to begin.

“I will need to reschedule…” Jumin looked down at his phone and sent a text, probably to Jaehee to cancel. 

Jumin felt bad that you didn’t know how to apply makeup as he felt all girls should be able to. When he had handed you the makeup, he assumed you knew what you were doing and left it at that. He decided he would sign you up for basic makeup classes just in case one of his stylists cancelled again.  

Seven

Being married to Saeyoung meant a lot of commitments. While this required emotional support, for not only your husband but also his brother, there were tons of fun commitments. One of Saeyoung’s favourite things to do was cosplay…or should I say crossplay? Whether it was for the hell of it, or to mess with the RFA on the messenger, or for...um…intimate times, he was intent on dressing up. This never bothered you. You’d often go along with it and help him dress up, occasionally dressing up yourself. It was fine until the day Saeyoung broke his arm. You don’t know what he did and questioned if you even wanted to know. According to Saeran, he was paying too much attention to his phone and ended up jamming his arm hard with his car door… you figured there was more to the story. Since he was left without his dominant arm, Saeyoung relied on you and Saeran to complete a lot of his everyday tasks. You were fine doing all of these chores- you did most of the chores anyways, but trouble came when he asked you to do his makeup. Whenever you cosplayed, Saeyoung always offered to do the makeup. You didn’t bother telling him that you don’t know how to put it on properly, but never considered he would break his arm.

“Baaaaaabeeeeee” he whined, more to annoy you than anything else.

“Whaaaaat? You whined back.

“I’m gonna dress up as a magical girl! Can you do my makeup?”

“I guess...” you hesitated.

So there you were, standing in front of his never ending pile of makeup supplies- surprisingly even larger than his load of Honey Buddha Chips. You sifted through his supplies until you could find some items you recognized and went to work. Unlike his normal hyper self, Saeyoung was very calm when applying makeup, to be as precise as possible. You hoped he didn’t notice your shaking hand when you applied his eyeliner because he definitely would when you were finished. He noticed there was an issue when you spread way too much setting powder on his face, causing him to cough and sneeze. He quickly felt around beside him to find his glasses and picked up the mirror in a hurry. The smirk on his face was not satisfaction but of amusement. You couldn’t get him to stop laughing and you couldn’t reach his phone in time for him to post a bunch of selfies on the RFA chat, showing off your “makeup wonders”. 

Yoosung

You and Yoosung had been dating for a couple of years. He had finished his degree and was opening his veterinarian office very soon. The boy never noticed that you didn’t wear makeup. He didn’t notice a lot of things, but that’s because it’s difficult to get him to think. Due to the grand opening of his veterinarian office, you decided that you would dress up and put more effort into your appearance. You knew Yoosung would find you beautiful no matter how you looked, you just wanted to try a bit harder and maybe give him more of a reason to show you off to his friends. After all, he was the first of his friends to get a girlfriend.

You got up around the same time as Yoosung did that day, something Yoosung found a bit odd as it was your day off. Nonetheless, he made you a quick breakfast before heading out to the office. When you heard the door shut, you got all excited and had to find a way to control yourself before you started your makeup. It took a couple of hours, but you were ready to see your boyfriend.

Upon walking into the clinic, you received a few stares from the visitors to the party. You shrugged it off, assuming they were confused how Yoosung could land such a pretty girl. It was not until you reached him, that you realised something was off.

“Hey, MC!” Yoosung exclaimed, trying to hold a smile and bite back his laughter.

“Yoosung! I’m so proud of you!” You ran up and hugged your boyfriend.

“Thanks! A-and you look… um… different? Did you do something with your face?” he asked hesitantly.

“Um, yeah. Is there something wrong?”

“Oh, aha, no. You look lovely, but I think you have something on your cheek…you should check it out in the bathroom…” You realised all of the stares you had been receiving- it was the makeup! How did you mess up? Wasn’t it in a girl’s genes to make the perfect eyeliner wing? Your face turned bright red as you looked down in embarrassment. “Oh, um. Can everyone excuse me?”

Yoosung took you to the side and lifted up your face to look eye to eye. “Uh, you wore makeup!” he tried so hard to sound enthusiastic.

“Yeah… I guess it didn’t turn out how I wanted it to…” you giggled.

He giggled, too. “You know you don’t have to do that for me. You look beautiful just as your natural self!”

You nodded but looked down again. “I wanted to impress you and make you happy…”

“How can I not be happy? My girlfriend tried to put on makeup just for me! I bet all of my friends are jealous!”

The rest of the afternoon went by smoothly. Nobody brought up the makeup fiasco and Yoosung was extremely happy with how many potential clients turned up. You were given several compliments from Yoosung’s friends, including some hitting on you to Yoosung’s demise. You decided you would never attempt to wear makeup before making sure you didn’t look like a clown.

Dating Hyun had its ups and its downs. He was a semi-famous theatre actor and constantly had girls flocking to him, whether you were present or not. You knew Hyun was faithful and loved you dearly, but you couldn’t help but feel intimidated by some of his gorgeous fangirls. They were lovely, while you were plain. You often visited Hyun directly after your long day at work, so you never exactly looked your best. He seemed happy to see you regardless, but you felt that you should put in a little more effort in the case that he was having second thoughts about you. On a day when you were allowed to leave work earlier, you decided to stop by your shared apartment and “doll yourself up”. You were never one to put too much effort into your appearance. You would wear light makeup to make yourself look presentable in an office environment, but never felt the need to do anything extravagant. This time was going to be different. You pulled out the eyeshadow kit your sister had given you for Christmas years ago, unopened but ready to be used.

You breathed in, ready to open the doors to Hyun’s studio. You were a bit nervous about showing up earlier than expected, but figured the surprise would make him happy. However, this was not exactly the case…

Hyun screamed higher than you knew was possible, almost high enough to be a dog whistle, when you walked into the theatre. “O-oh! MC! That’s you! I thought you were- um…. Is it October already?”

That was the moment you realised you fucked up. “U-uh…I gotta go!” You quickly ran out to the streets, ready to walk home, ready to try and convince Hyun it was an allusion…but you were stopped.

“Jagiya! What’s the rush? Didn’t you want to see me?”

“Oh, um… I realised that something sudden came up-” You went to leave, but were stopped by Hyun’s tight arms.

“Jagiya, you don’t need to hide. I was just surprised. I feel so bad for reacting like that! Please forgive me! Turn around, please! I want to see you!”

You gave your panicking boyfriend a break and turned to face him, with a sigh. “Yeah, I look stupid, I know… I just figured I needed to look pretty to be-”

“You’re too perfect for me!” he interrupted you. “Don’t you ever think that you’re not pretty or smart or charismatic or anything! I don’t deserve such an angelic soul! You were the one who loved me from what was inside and not for my face! Jagiya-why are you crying?” He grabbed hold of your head and pressed it to his chest. Hyun ran his fingers through your hair until you calmed down.

“I’m sorry,” you mumbled. “I wanted to be like the girls you are surrounded by, Lovely Zen…but I’m not like them at all.”

“You not being like them at all is why I’m with you and not them! Do you think they’re able to make me smile as much as you do?”

In the end, Hyun decided that he would teach you how to do makeup properly in the case that you wanted to try it again. This fiasco was a thing in the past that you both learned to laugh about. You knew that Zen loved you no matter what and you loved him.

—who’s more dominant: I think they’re almost equally ranked on this, though since Kenny has much more patience than Bebe does, I believe he would be more passive about things than she would. Unless he’s sees something as unfair/unjust, he could be pretty assertive and confrontational so in a sense pretty dominant. But openly Bebe would be the more dominant of the two.

—who’s the cuddler: They’re both affectionate but I think Kenny would be more of the clinger here. He primarily uses affection to show his love. When it comes down to it though, he’s more physical than he is verbal. Bebe likes being showered with attention and affection from what I know, so i think this works out well for the both of them.

—who’s the big spoon/little spoon: Haha, honestly when these two come together their actions/choices are usually different from traditional standards. I'm pretty sure even though Kenny’s like SIX inches taller than Bebe, she would probably big spoon him. Often. He also lowkey prefers being held.

—what’s their favorite non-sexual activity: I think they would enjoy simple activities that would allow them to communicate without feeling claustrophobic. Something like, exploring areas they’ve never been before; slow walks in natural environments; the cliche car on hilltop- listening to music. They would probably take a lot of pictures together or of each other making stupid faces or just plainly goofing off. I’m sure they occasionally do movie marathons in their spare time. I also think they would enjoy a fair share of aggressive activities, as they’re each competitive in their own right. It could be anything from a Karaoke Duet to Laser Tagging, Ice Skating to out doing each other in Carnival games. Basically two extremes, really chill or no chill.

—who uses all the hot water: Kenny’s used to his water heater malfunctioning. He’s showered in cold water hundreds of times, I don’t think it would faze him much anymore. So. Bebe, no doubt about it.

—Most trivial thing they fight over: If it’s a domestic issue?? Taxes..?? I’m not sure tbh?? Maybe, messiness?? Kenny has a habit of never putting things back in their rightful places. That might start an argument?? IDK???

On the other hand, if it’s a relationship issue, I believe it would be absence and or lack of trust from either party. There’s something about loving someone tremendously and then having them leave you with nothing but a letter; never seeing them for another fifteen years -COUGH- that could potentially fuck with someone’s psyche y’know?? ALTHOUGH, when someone you love is in constant danger, and frequently disappears for days to weeks, without any explanation that’s also pretty fucking shady LOL. The reasons are valid at least..!!

—who does most of the cleaning: Aha, I think we’ve discussed this HC before, huehue. They’re pretty equal here. They sometimes team up and purge the entire fucking house together. 

—what has a season pass on their dvr/Who controls the netflix queue: LMAO, “DVR.” MY MUSE IS TRIGGERED. Anyway, I think Bebe controls the Netflix queue ( or y’know.. Cordelia probably hogs up the whole fUckin account ) since Kenny doesn’t really care. He just wants to spend time with her when he can. Possibly cuddle, possibly bang, possibly O.D on leftovers. -Unless they promised to binge a specific show together. THEN “BRING THE POPCORN AND SCOOT OVER BITCH, LET’S FUCKIN’ DO THIS.”

—who calls up the super/landlord when the heat’s not working: Hmm.. I not sure. I have a feeling that Bebe couldn’t be fucking bothered to talk to the landlord. Honestly, she probably hates them haha. Either she’s best friends with the landlord or YEET. In short, it would  T R I G G E R  Kenny, but I think he would do it.

—who leaves their stuff around: Hahahahahaha. Kenny. Maybe even Bebe?? I still think Ken would win this round by a LOT. Back home, his room would stay messy for months, until sooner or later he had a SUDDEN urge to clean it all up. He was really good with laundry though!! At least.. after he ran out of it. Washing everyone’s laundry was actually one of his many  chores. Unless their washer broke down, which it would.. constantly. If this occurred the whole family would just collect their piles of laundry, and take it to the public Laundromat together. He’s just used to being messy- and then… tidy.

—who remembers to buy the milk: Probably Bebe. Kenny never… really.. got to buy groceries.. so.. In all seriousness, groceries weren’t a part of his chores, so he never made it a habit to apply this rule to his regimen. No matter who he lives with. He’s just used to missing a meal, so he doesn’t worry about it.

—who remembers anniversaries:  Both!! Even though Bebe sometimes acts like a t’sundere, she totally loves romance. And luckily, Kenny is the type to pay attention to things that matter to his S/O’s. I think they’re both romantic’s and know how to woo each other well. So all that’s left is WHO SAYS “happy anniversary!!” FIRST.

—who cooks normally: Well, Kenny passed Home Ec with flying colors, and he’s actually a decent cook so. I suppose Ken would?? I can remember if Bebe was bad at cooking or not, but i think she tries anyway. Which Kenny finds extremely adorable, whether she fails or not.

—how often do they fight: I honestly don’t think they fight unless the problem is UNAVOIDABLE. I think they both kind of don’t mention anything until it get’s really bad. Like “well shit. you almost died, i think this might be a sign…”

—what do they do when they’re away from each other: I think they’re either working or indulging in their favorite hobbies. There’s also that whole concept called a social life, friends and shit. Crazy, I know!! It’s so weird how their entire existence doesn’t revolve around each other and that they haven’t surgically SEWN THEMSELVES TOGETHER. They’re such a strange & quirky couple!!!!

—nicknames for each other: UM. -SWEATS- HA, HAHAHAHAHa. HAHAHAHAHA. ( inside jokes are gr8 )

—who is more likely to pay for dinner: Kenny would try to pull that chivalry shit, because my boi is a gentleman, but if Bebe wants to be an independent  woman who doesn’t need some hobo’s money, then Ken won’t fight it. He likes being pampered anyway.

—who steals the covers at night: Kenny is a pretty calm sleeper. He doesn’t move much, and he doesn’t really snore either. He does get hot easily, and he sometimes has recurring nightmares, he’s also a light sleeper but that’s about it. I think bebe wins this round. Ken wouldn’t mind this though, he would probably pull her in and big spoon her cocoon fortress.  

—what would they get each other for gifts: Ummmmmmmmm. I think Bebe would notice how he’s constantly tense and probably book a spa day for him. He’s never been to a spa, so I can imagine him being very uncomfortable at first but then ADORING it afterward. Kenny on the other hand would put on a costume from a her favorite movie character and make up their home to look like her favorite scene and play out her fantasies, no questions asked. “oh, you like drama bebe?? i’ll give fucking give you drama.” ( the movie could be about WW3 and HE STILL WOULDn’T GIVE A FUCk. “this is a little weird but sure babe i’ll cosplay hitler.” )

—what would they do if the other one was hurt: Drop EVERYTHING. It doesn’t matter what they’re doing. I think they would be at each other’s side as soon as possible. They would heal each other, mentally and physically. Whether they’re in a romantic relationship or not. I believe that they care about each other immensely  

—who is the dirty talker: As I’ve said before Kenny’s more physical than verbal. He is a sexual person, but he’s MUCH more LUSTFUL if he loves/cares for the person. I think Bebe would probably take the cake here. Whether or not she does indulge in dirty talk. He really only does it upon request. ALTHOUGH…. If you get him drunk, there are no limits, he’ll say things that would drop Bebe from 1st to 10th place.

Feel free to ignore my ramblings below, although I’m probably going to start posting frequently about a particular topic mentioned once another week or so has passed. If I can even have that much self-restraint in the first place, aha.

Gosh dangit, if I wasn’t so busy with commissions right now you can bet I’d be drawing fanart of a certain character from NDRV3 (New Danganronpa V3) that was like hands down my fricking favorite from that game.

THERE ARE NO SPOILERS FOR NDRV3 IN THIS POST. I WOULD OTHERWISE BE TAGGING IT. TRUST ME, I HATE SPOILERS AS MUCH AS ANYONE ELSE OKAY.

Also this character - who will go unmentioned for now - is definitely my second favorite character from the DR franchise as a whole?????? And possibly my fourth favorite fictional character right after Flowey??????? I can’t honestly tell, I’m still trying to sort out the overwhelming amount of feelings I have for this character. Please help me holy crap ajhsfdgdjfjdfdhjfhjdfjhdfjh LMAO. You can bet I WILL be posting a lot of stuff about this character though.

I’ve like considered cosplaying on and off, and this is also the first character where I actually some day want to make a real attempt at cosplaying (I’m too busy right now though, and tight on funds too, so, thanks effing refrigerator incident).

I mean the problem with cosplaying my top three favorite fictional characters (which, in order, are still Nagito Komaeda, Vaati, and Flowey) is that Komaeda is too fricking tall and I wouldn’t be able to pull him off convincingly. (Despite being 25, I am literally 4′11″ by the way. I am very short.) Plus I love his DRAE outfit a LOT more than I like his SDR2 one, and well... as rad as his neck-chain is, I’m sure that would get some weird looks in public.

If I were to cosplay someone, I’d want to be able to actually just wear it normally without people necessarily realizing/thinking I’m too weird. I don’t go to conventions, so... just random public shenanigans would be the only time I’d be wearing it. This is one of the main reasons I haven’t really bothered to cosplay before, despite having an interest in it - there’s literally not been much of a practical use beforehand / too expensive for something I can’t actually wear as an outfit.

And then there’s Vaati. Who, coming from The Legend of Zelda franchise, literally looks straight out of a medieval fantasy setting (as he should......), which... again, doesn’t really work well in public lmao. Plus I actually wouldn’t really want to cosplay him; as much as I like him and his design as a character, I don’t think I’d actually want to wear his outfit.

AND THEN there’s Flowey. Who is an actual flower and that would just be literally not possible to cosplay in a way that’s not really weird in public, so again... not very practical.

But this character from NDRV3 has a sort-of normal enough outfit that I could maybe get away with it in public. and also part of the outfit is 100% my aesthetic like holy crap, it’s something I would wear without it even being a part of a cosplay actually. like wow uhm?????

I just wholeheartedly fricking enjoyed / took a liking to / actually legitimately relate to this character and just????? In fact I liked NDRV3 so much I think it’s pretty much second to SDR2 for me in the franchise. (With Danganronpa/Zero being third now, since that was what was previously “second” ranked in DR for me.) I know I’ve got a bunch of games to play but I’m fricking going to replay the entire DR franchise because NDRV3 was just exceptional.

And I know some people hate the ending to NDRV3 but I fricking LOVED it. I won’t say anything, but I actually really just. Loved it wholeheartedly. And I love the developers. Like holy crap I just???? LOVE THIS EFFING FRANCHISE SO MUCH?????? WHY IS DANGANRONPA LITERALLY THE BEST THING TO EVER HAPPEN IN MY LIFE AHHHHHHH. There’s a reason it’s my favorite franchise/storyline of all time. I have so much affection for this series as a whole.

I’m having such a hard time forcing myself not to start spamming spoilers for the game, but I do want to give it some time before I start posting anything about it. (With a few tagged/read more’d exceptions. Anything I post with spoilers WILL be tagged.) HhhHHHhh and there’s also another character in NDRV3 besides my favorite from that game who was a close second and I just????? The character roster was great. There was only one character I actually didn’t like, and I would’ve liked this character except for this one aspect of them that makes me just personally really uncomfortable. I just. NDRV3 WAS SO GREAT AND I’M JUST. SO HAPPY. WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE I LOVE THIS FRANCHISE AHHHHHHH.

So right now, my actual current order of top favorite characters from the DR franchise is as follows (and this is in order):

1. Nagito Komaeda (I still haven’t seen a character in which I’ve had AS dramatic a reaction to emotionally... he’s still just. 100% great I love him a lot okay and he’s still my favorite fictional character of all time)

2. THE CHARACTER THAT I HAVEN’T NAMED BUT IF YOU KNOW ABOUT NDRV3 AT ALL IT’S PROBABLY REALLY OBVIOUS SINCE I’VE ALREADY MENTIONED I LIKE FLOWEY A LOT FROM UNDERTALE + I LIKE KOMAEDA FROM DR SO IS IT REALLY THAT HARD TO FIGURE OUT LMAO I’M CRY.

I don’t know how obvious this character is but I’ll give a hint in case anyone wants to try figuring it out: my NDRV3 favorite apparently has a crush on this character....... how did this happen omfg. I don’t really quite ship them though since this one seems a lot more one-sided than something like Komahina??? but I think understanding/respecting that my V3 fave feels that way is worth acknowledging since it has to do with their psychology/thought process-related shenanigans and character development

4. Izuru Kamukura (SORRY BROSKI I didn’t mean to whack you down so far on this list when you used to be second. ;w; I still love you too Kamukura sdjsjhfkh and I feel slightly bad about this but I have been thinking about this really thoroughly and comparing things and when it comes down to it, if I’m being honest I DO like those two NDRV3 characters more)

leviiii ackermannnn. I won’t say all the reasons bc this will go on for too long but this man came from nothing (he literally would have died if it weren’t for kenny god bless him) to a well known hero. and like he never once got cocky about this or his title (in fact I think he hates the burden of it but is willing to sacrifice that part of him for humanity). despite all the shit he’s been through (which is a lot of shit) he still remains kind and untainted (to a point. like he’s willing to get his hands dirty for what he believes in. he’s definitely not pure). but yea all he wants is to protect and save humanity and his friends from the titans. he literally just wants to get rid of them all so they can rest and find peace (probably bc he knows he won’t be able to so he’s willing to die so others can 😭) I’m gonna stop here bc I’m gonna cry and bc this is gonna get too long but I just love everything about him!!

oh my gosh ok it’s levi but I’m gonna use this to write about the beautiful rare pair that is moburi haha

when moblit isn’t busy making sure hange is still alive and breathing, he and levi chill out together. they bond over their love but stress and concern over hange. levi drinks tea whilst moblit drinks coffee (which is more than often mixed with some alcohol) while they chat and unwind with the other. they’ll often light heartedly complain about the day they had or something

levi admires moblit’s artistic skill (he literally in canon calls them masterpieces) and likes to just quietly watch him sketch or doodle. as someone with little to no artistic skill he finds it fascinating to watch how effortlessly he can bring something to life. it’s also very soothing and relaxing for him. it takes both their minds off of things or on whatever it is moblit is drawing

moblit at first was flustered by this because of the amount of attention he was getting and the pressure of not messing up because someone is watching. soon enough it became routine for them and moblit could truly relax around levi as he drew

if levi finds moblit drinking on his own (which is quite common) he’ll often join him and work on paperwork as it has no effect on him while they silently enjoy each other’s company

So we watched from Kurapika V Uvo fight to the episode where Chrollo was kidnapped by Kurapika and Pakunoda started to leave alone for the place Kurapika asked while the troupe was arguing whenever to follow her or not (the episode ends with Hisoka asking Illumi a favor)

So we watched quite a lot and I didn’t take note this time so i’ll try to remember but it was so funny akjhfd

-First the fight: they weren’t convinced at first by Kurapika’s confidence and were a little scared.

-Eventually when the fight happened, they were just cheering for Pika and all he was doing, it was amazing.

-Kurapika: *explained how his chains was working* Her: “OH MY GOD!!!” Him: “.... can we pause, I didn’t understand can you explain to me”

-She had to explain him about the chains and he was very confused. By the end, when he understood, he said “I can console myself by thinking Gon would probably not have understood either.”

-She drew the Nen schema from it to try to understand it more and we had a long conversation about Nen and how it works. It was very interesting!

-Her: *after Kurapika kills Uvo* “Hey, you earned 2 billions!”

-The auction stuff: they really liked Zepile while he was being introduced. They immediatly wanted him to be Leorio’s buddy and are convinced they’re the kind of people who would make stupid bet together.

-We had a whole conversation about Leorio’s suit and how it’s probably a fashion presentation he insists in, probably regarding his previous social class. We agreed that, considering Leorio comes from a poor environement, he’s probably working even more on his appearance to separate himself from that, thus this social presentation with his suit - which, as we agreed, was also why it annoyed him so much Kurapika disrespected him when they first met. That’s also called “Watching hxh with people who study sociology”

-Also it’s always fun to see them insist that Leorio doesn’t have Nen and should protect himself and keep out of trouble, considering the amount of time i saw people give Leorio shit about it, it makes me so happy that they just actively want to protect Leorio.

-They laughed when they realized Leorio and Zepile had been drinking when Gon and Killua were kidnapped

-One of them really love Nobunaga’s design since he actually practice the same kind of sword activity (which i forgot the name to so i will not elaborate akjhfd). He kinda wants to make a Nobunaga’s cosplay now since he has about the same outfit. (She mentioned if I put hairgel i could be Gon djkhfd I argued that if i go natural i can cosplay illumi tho)

-But also therefore, in the scene Nobunaga was threatening the kids, he was explaining us everything about how to carry a sword like this and how his actions were actually really accurate, it was amazing.

-They were really worried when the two kids were being caught and she called Gon reckless for yelling at them 

-”Oh no Killua, it’s not the moment to have triggers” - as Killua was remembering Illumi’s words 

-They really like the troupe, actually. They find them cool, she especially likes Chrollo and He likes Nobunaga ofc.

-They found the Requiem horrifying. 

-They were really hyped for the Zoldyck V Chrollo fight, were seeing how it would all go to shit. When Illumi entered the picture, they gasped as “when you think it couldn’t be more of a mess!”

-They really had fun analysingthe fortunes, and were totally unsure of what the hell Hisoka was doing with his. She is sure that Hisoka didn’t even know Chrollo would pick it up and he just improvised.

-Chrollo: “If we leave Hisoka here alone, he will die” Her: “And they will all leave to have him die. At least I’m sure the pink hair lady is thinking about it.”

-They keep calling Korutopi a yugioh’s card. They found the plan regarding the auction rather incredible. 

-Kurapika having to take the Scarlet eyes to the auction seriously broke their heart. It was very painful to see for the both of them. Plus as i told them already about how there were 128 people in the clan to which Kurapika was really close to, they felt really in pain about it all the way through.

-They found the scene with Killua and Gon food fighting to be amazing. 

-Also when Kurapika didn’t answer his phone the first time before UVo’s fight, she turned to me like “is that why the “pick the phone kurapika” i see all the time, a h ah aha ha aha h

-I swear I don’t make any shippy comments while we watch the show. I make n o n e. The closest thing I did was to tell that I was sure Killua wasn’t straight, that’s it. But one of them really love the banters between Leorio and Kurapika and she really wants Leorio to shake some sense into Kurapika because she sees Kurapika isn’t going in the good way and Leorio is probably the more down-to-earth one to shake it off.

-Also when Kurapika told Gon his powers and that Leorio and Killua popped up behind him, she found Leorio’s soft look toward Kurapika completely adorable. She then went on on how this whole scene was really sweet.

-Also my friend really like when there is a couple that is already established before the begining of the story and who just try to move on with life, find a good job together, ect. So she really loved seeing Squalla and Eliza together. She glanced at me like “one of them is gonna die right? that’s unfair.” and she yelled when Squalla died. 

-She is also scared for Melody ever since she was dragged in all of it, but they love her and they want her safe. (The little sister of the other one came by at some point and was like “wtf is that guy he looks weird” and both him and her yelled in the same voice “sHE’S ADORABLE” ajkfhdf)

-they want the Zoldyck, the Hunter Commitee, and The Troupe to fight all together.

-They yelled at Kurapika when he started to act recklessly and put everyone in danger because of it. They were all kinda on the edge about it all.

-”If even Gon tells you your idea is reckless it is that it’s really bad stop this Kurapika!”

-When Gon asked Chrollo why he was killing and Chrollo gave his answer, She went “well at least they maybe won half a hour, now he will keep thinking about it)

-They cheered when Kurapika managed to capture Chrollo and laughed when he had Phinks on the phone!! 

-They find Chrollo’s mentality toward the Spider - and how the troupe talks about the Spider in general - to be extremely interesting!

-As I said they really like the Troupe so far but they kinda have the same view as me on it, as in, we love them, but eehh they still deserve to die tho. We wish them to die with some honor tho.

Aaand I think that’s about all i remember, next time maybe i should take notes @.@ but it was quite a ride and it was amazing!!

I’m so glad they were really into this arc and were caught by how intense it was! It was really a lot of fun!!

I’ll just get straight to it

This all started getting to a pretty bad point around probably April or May

(but let’s be honest this has been maybe a year or more of feeling sorry for myself and not saying or doing anything about it) Okay so all this might sound out-of-the-blue but it’s been eating away at me pretty slowly. SO  I’ve been getting pretty bummed out because this year, it’s dawned on me, that i have absolutely no hobbies. You may ask “Oh wait weren’t you photoshopping or whatever?” Yes. I did take a stab at something I thought I would like. I did like it but motivation fizzled out for me when money started coming in. “wait isnt money good???” yeah i guess but when I took a step back and realized that making this a “job” or “career” was too real and I got some weird feeling about the whole thing, like stage fright or something dumb like that. I didn’t feel good or qualified to make money off something I started doing on a whim. Charles (my bf if you don’t know. idk in case you’re reading this and don’t know his name will pop in and out of this whole thing) anyway, Charles really tried to motivate me and push me to keep at it and not worry too much about my skills since they’ll get better and we should keep getting better together ( since he physically took the photos i worked on). I tried to see it his way but like I said it just…fizzled Now I’ve successfully spiraled back to “I have no hobbies again poor me” great. It’s pretty shitty realizing you have nothing to distract you from your “temporary” shit day job that you hate. I think back and I use to have my dream job at the time, crafted, sewed, danced for fun, chatted/hung out with friends, attended events and even prettied myself up for it all from time to time, all this only like 4 years ago. What happened? Honestly I don’t know why but I started to hate my job and I began “grow out” of cosplay, dance, friends? At first I took it as a sign to move on to other things but the problem was I had no fucking clue to what. I took time to think about it and get a job serving to make some easy cash and just relax while it all comes to me. It never did and I hate serving btw. Three years have now passed and I have nothing to show for it. What am I even good at now? Where do I start? Why am I not happy? I really had no answer to any of these questions. Only recently I’ve been able to lift my head up after finally owning up to the fact that I’m being unreasonably hard on myself. Charles has been so supportive btw and is patiently waiting for my aha moment and he’s ready to support whatever it is I want to do. I have some ideas and motivation is starting to slowly rise. Now my problem is that unfortunately in my mid-20s crisis or whatever I’ve isolated myself from everyone. So many good friendships I feel aren’t what they could be or even close to what they use to be. I’ve been preoccupied with myself in a purely negative way and I lost track of my support group with the exception of a few amazing people that have kept up with me in the background. Now I’m just...Who can I talk to? Are we still really friends? Where we?  How do I start to share again? Ok so now that I’ve painted a picture of kinda where I’m at mentally. What’s going on IRL? Well I’m making a BARELY passing living off of my serving jobs (which I still hate)  and that’s about it. Summers are brutal as it is and money is tight overall. Let’s throw family in the picture! why the heck not? Don’t get me wrong, my immediate family is the best. But I’m definitely not as close as I want to be with them. I have no money to make the trips out to see them, buy them birthday or Christmas gifts. I’m so in my own head that I can’t even remember their birthdays anyway unless Facebook reminds me and it’s usually too late. I suck as member of this family I often think. Is that true? no and I know it. I love them and I know they love me and would understand if i took to the time to explain my situation to them. Most importantly my mother has been so great in all this. In June unfortunately she had an emergency trip to the hospital. Long story short I almost lost her. She’s okay now, and her new life on dialysis is hard but she’s been so positive about the whole thing and I’m really proud of her and look up to her a lot. Needless to say it was a eye opening experience because here I am moping around about my now seemingly trivial problems when my mom battles her own body going against her but now is currently living her best life and vacationing in Vegas this weekend only because she and my stepdad felt like it. She’s an inspiration tbh.  Alright so hopes are now high again and my ideas are starting to look tangible. My mother’s health is slowly but surely improving and there is even new additions to my family to look forward to. Things were looking up and until they weren’t. This past month has been maybe the worst time I’ve ever had in a very long time. Sometimes people really suck.  July 2017 redefined the word “Hate”. July 2017 solidified the definition of “Love” in my life. July 2017 put a lot of things in perspective for me. Am I being overdramatic? Sure, maybe but deep down, I don’t think so. Have you ever been through a crazy break up? Just something so ground shaking that you didn’t see both of you coming out of it alive? Before you fret, Charles and I are perfectly fine. You see, I’m talking about a “friend break up”. Have you ever put so much trust in someone but then it just doesn’t work out with that friend after all? I think most people let that friendship die on it’s own. But what if you couldn’t leave it to that, what if you had to end it there and now? What if you feel so hurt it’s almost beyond repair? What if it was so bad that everything had to be put on hold. Your job, your family, everything. What if the line between the good and the bad thing to do becomes too blurred to see straight. Have you ever had a crazy break up that bad? This past month we had to remove a roommate from our house. How silly, huh? All these emotions because of some guy we chose to live in our home. You hear it all the time, when people have such a positive impact by a friend or someone that it’s life changing. You hear that a person was changed for the better by that friend or something sappy like that. Charles and I had our lives altered by someone in a very opposite manner... Wow, what a mess. 

There you have it. A nice and condensed recap of my life this summer. I really don’t wish to go any further into detail than what I have here at the moment. Where is my head at though? Am I okay? Yeah I’m doing fine. A lot of what I need is just to open up a bit and move on. I still have a some ideas of what to do from here and I just wanted to not let this be some deep, dark secret and pop up out of nowhere as if nothing happened. Anyway, whoever read this far, thank you. I’m also really sorry for keeping to myself for so long...
