Life with Satoru was often unpredictable. The both of you being high level sorcerers meant that your schedule was always changing. While you were typically on reserve for special grade curses or teaching, there were times where it felt like you hadn’t seen your partner in weeks. Any time the two of you had any sort of alone time together, you simply just picked up where you left off. There wasn’t a whole lot of time for private intimacy, especially as you were both teachers and spent a lot of your time at the technical college.

You both felt it was better to keep your relationship private. Satoru was the strongest, there was no doubt about that, but because of that he often had a target on his back. His biggest fear was that someone would try to use you to get to him. To hurt him. You had agreed, however you couldn’t hide the fact that it hurt how much you longed to touch him when working together. To hold his hand. A gentle kiss. Anything really. Instead he was quite adept at being evasive to your longing looks. 

This day seemed different though. Satoru had actually been injured while exorcising a special grade curse on the field. He had made a stupid mistake of shielding you from an attack while your back was turned. You weren’t even supposed to be there. It was your day off. The curse just happened to be inside the grocery store you had been shopping at. You had helped get people out to safety, your back turned as you attempted to find the parents of a scared little boy. He was the only other one that could see the monster attacking. 

It had tried to kill you when your guard was down, but your faithful boyfriend got in the way. 

Now you were sitting with him in the back of a car headed towards the college.However, you were not alone. Ijichi was driving which meant you still had to pretend like you were just a colleague and not a concerned lover. Frustration was just building within you as you turned to give him a haughty look, “You’re an idiot.” You didn’t elaborate, he knew what you were talking about. His actions could have very well blown your relationship’s cover. 

“But I am your idiot.” He replied with a gentle smile. Truth be told, he was rather tired of hiding his feelings for you. He wanted his claim on you to be known by all. Besides, there was never any chance he’d allow anything to ever happen to you. 

Your eyes widened, mirroring Ijichi who was completely caught off guard. Before you could protest any further, his soft lips were pressed against yours in a silent apology for being so weak when it came to his love for you.

Dazai’s hand caught your wrist and pulled you to help you keep up with his pace.The building you had been cornered in by the Port Mafia was quickly filling with smoke, the flames hot on your heels.

Once outside he quickly threw you to the ground before jumping on top of you, an explosion ringing out the moment he covered you with his thin frame.

The windows of the building blew out, glass raining all around you as distant sounds of sirens could be heard.

“Why is arson always your first answer?” He asked, exasperated as he rolled off of you so that he could lay next to you as he caught his breath.

“I didn’t know where else to go.” You admitted sheepishly, having been cornered by Akutagawa, you made a hasty decision to set the place on fire...unfortunately for you it happened to be on the same floor as the boiler room.

Dazai sat up and brushed himself off, “You can explain this to Kunikida then.”

You let out a groan, knowing that the agency’s mommy would have a conniption at the mess you had just made, “Fine.”

Chuuya Nakahara

You and Chuuya had been assigned to work together for the past few weeks, doing different high level jobs that needed taken care of. Currently you had just finished one of the more dangerous missions.

“Why is arson always your first answer?” Chuuya asked, using his hat to fan himself as the building in front of them was being eaten alive by flame. Certainly there had been a better what to hide the bodies of the people you had been assigned to kill.

You shrugged, not really caring to hear his criticism. If he didn’t like how you did things, then he could partner up with someone else. “I didn’t know where else to go. How else do you dispose of a dozen corpses and a crime scene all on short notice?”

He let out a sigh, putting his hat back on and turning around as he began to walk back to his motorcycle. “Come on then, let’s go before someone comes to put out the fire.”

He straddled the bike, waiting for you to get on behind him and wrap your arms around his waist before he sped off, back towards headquarters to report to Mori what had happened.

It had been a long time since you were this upset. Painful memories flashed by as you felt as if your heart was about to beat right out of your chest. Despite the quick gasps of air you kept intaking, it felt as if your lungs weren’t getting any oxygen at all. Everything felt blurry, the world out of focus as tears began to stream down your face. Your mind was racing far too fast to have any sort of coherent thought besides whatever it was that triggered such a violently emotional reaction.

At first you couldn’t hear your boyfriend talking to you. His words sort of floated in through the buzz of your thoughts, but you couldn’t comprehend them. You felt his long arms wrap around you, pulling you into his chest. He had no idea what had happened, but this isn’t the first time he’s seen you like this. Early in your relationship you had told him of your struggles with PTSD and anxiety, and how sometimes you had panic attacks that were very hard to come down from. Tsukki understood, however he didn’t say much else in regards to it. 

What you didn’t know was that once he was alone, he had started to do some research on the best way for a partner to handle such a situation. He found a good point about tips and advice on how to handle a panic attack when it presented itself. The first time he consoled you through one, it had been a huge surprise. Not many others had even bothered to do something so thoughtful for you before…

Slowly his words began to come clearer as just the physical contact with him alone began to ground you. “You’re safe now, I’m here,” He murmured into your hair as he rubbed your back in an attempt to soothe you even more. “Just breathe with me, that’s it.” He said as you tried to deepen your staggered breaths to match his slow and deep ones. Eventually you were able to sync, forcing your heart rate to slow down and your stiff muscles to relax. 

The tears didn’t stop, of course, not right away. You continued to dampen his shirt with them as he held you. He didn’t really care, he would just change it whenever you were calmed down. All that mattered now was to get you back here in the present with him. The usual sarcastic and abrasive Tsukki sharing a rare moment of soft tenderness was the best anxiety medicine you could have ever asked for...

Iwa took a drink from his water bottle, his eyes lingering a little too long on your bent over form as you stretched. He didn’t mean to stare but you just looked way too good in your work out attire. Unfortunately for him, he had been caught early on in your routine and at this point in time you were just giving him a show.

You stood up straight again, lifting your arms above your head, fingers linked together and you stretched your shoulders. You glanced backwards at him, winking playfully as he choked on his mouthful of water. He figured you had been looking at Oikawa who was on the weight bench beside him. He was vacationing in Japan during the off season and the two had decided to work out together like old times. 

But Oikawa wasn’t paying you any attention, he was concentrating totally on his reps with music blasting in his headphones. Iwa blinked before going back to his workout, only stopping with chest curls when you suddenly appeared in front of him with a smile. He watched you curiously as he relaxed his arms. 

:”You’re a trainer here, right?” You asked, cocking your head to the side cutely. “Can you spot me?” 

Iwa wasn’t on the clock, but he honestly didn’t mind. You were very attractive after all. He set his weights down. “Sure.” He didn’t notice the smirk on his friend’s face as he sat up on the bench, grabbing a towel and silently excusing himself to use another machine. 

You laid down on a clean weight bench, having already put on the weights on each side of the bar. You got into a comfortable position as Iwa stood over you, losing himself in your eyes as he tried to focus on making sure you kept a good form as you grabbed the bar. “Have you listed this much before?” He asked.

“I can do it, handsome, don’t worry about that.” You teased before starting. Truly you didn’t need anyone to spot you but the opportunity seemed right. Normally when you were at the gym together he was helping a client and you couldn’t approach him. But now you were definitely going to go for the kill…

He tutted at the compliment, not really taking it at face value as you began to do your reps. “You know, you look really good from this angle.” You said between breaths as you looked up at him, eyes never leaving his face as he cleared his throat. 

“Are you flirting with me?” He asked awkwardly, having always had a hard time picking up when people were interested in him, thanks to being best friends with an attention magnet growing up. 

You couldn’t help but laugh at how adorable he was, “I’ll answer that, but only if you promise to take me to dinner after…”

At long last they had finally come together in the most intimate of ways. Lips met lips, hips met hips, and lust finally overcame the disdain they often expressed towards one another. 

It was, without a doubt, the best sex either had ever had. And while they laid panting side by side on the small full sized bed, Chuuya still on his stomach and Dazai on his back, the air was thick with tension instead of the nice balmy afterglow of shared orgasms. 

They were on opposite sides now. This was wrong. Dazai knew he could not stay here for much longer if he wanted to remain on the side of saving people. He ignored his heartache, stuffed it down deep inside him until he felt nothing. Told himself this was just another conquest and there wasn’t anything more to it. 

“I’m leaving,” He announced, sitting up and running a bandaged hand through his messy, damp hair. His partner would be wondering where he was. Though him disappearing for long periods of time wasn’t out of the ordinary, it somehow gave him a still sense of urgency. He needed to leave, not just to uphold his duty as an armed detective but also for the sake of his own heart. 

“Of course you are,” Came the terse reply from the redhead, his hair askew as it was coming out of the pony tail he had had it in. “That’s all you know how to do.” Chuuya felt his heart breaking all over again, ripping from the inside out. He should have known. He shouldn’t have let it get this far. Why did he have to give in…

Dazai stood motionless, watching the shuddering breaths his former partner took and he knew it was a feeble attempt to keep tears from coming. The longing to stay and comfort him pulsated in his chest for a brief moment, before that too was sent into the oblivion of his soul to hopefully never be felt again. 

He finished getting dressed, putting on his coat, and wordlessly leaving the room before he could do any more damage.

Though Kuroo rarely took any time off for himself, any time you asked him to go on vacation he did so without question. He’d make all the arrangements, take time off work, and surprise you within a few days of you asking. He’d make most of the plans in secret, and would only give you the dates so you could request off work. 

It wasn’t hard to see that he had been more stressed than usual lately. His shoulders always seemed so tense when he got him and he didn’t seem to have enough energy to go out on small dates in what little downtime he had. Sometimes he’d be at the office for over twelve hours. You’d have to bring him dinner and kiss him goodnight because you’d probably be asleep by the time he made it home. 

Regardless of working himself to death, he really did enjoy his job and even more than that he loved spoiling you with anything you could ever imagine. He was never one to disappoint you. Now finally you were on a beach on the other side of Japan, sunbathing with Kuroo at your side. 

“Tetsuro?” You probed, turning onto your side to face him. A small smile graced your lips as you saw that he was fast asleep. You kissed his cheek, careful not to wake him before adjusting the large umbrella you had brought to cover most of his body to prevent any sunburn.

You snapped a picture and sent it to Kenma, telling him that he had won your bet. He didn’t even make it five minutes into your first day before falling asleep from exhaustion finally catching up to him.

I made it a coffee shop AU because why not.

He had been coming in every day for the past two weeks.

Every. Single. Day.

He didn’t even like coffee that much. He had happened to come in one day because he was feeling particularly worn out from dealing with his headache of a team. He had hoped that the caffeine would get him through the rest of the day. The problem was the cute little black haired barista that had served him. Her bright green eyes captivated him at first glance.

It started with him ordering the special, which was just whatever the house blend they had decided to brew that day. He drank it black, Sayua’s first impression was that he was boring. He played it safe. He drank plain black coffee. There was nothing particularly special about it. There wasn’t even any foam for her to draw  cute heart in. Maybe he was just afraid to be adventurous. 

Despite picking up on the fact that he was not a coffee drinker, Sayua noticed that he came in around the same time every day. It was a bit strange, but a little endearing too. She wasn’t sure what kept bringing him back because he ordered the same thing, the same way, every day. A medium special. No sugar, no cream, just coffee. She couldn’t imagine it actually tasting good. 

One day, she wasn’t behind the counter. Instead there was a new girl that she was training how to make drinks. Sayua was cleaning up around the small dining area while Iwa clumsily ordered his coffee. It had gotten to a point that Sayua didn’t even ask his order anymore. She just knew what he wanted and made it. 

Luckily the newcomer didn’t need supervision to pour a cup of coffee. She handed over to the awkward trainer who then did something he typically didn’t do. He walked over and took a seat near where Sayua was cleaning. He cleared his dry throat, not thinking to take a sip to maybe wet his lips before he spoke. “You come here often?” 

She tried not to laugh. She really did. But a small giggle ended up escaping. “Well considering I work here, yes.” She replied with a smirk, standing upright and putting a hand on her hip as she watched him with her cat-like eyes. His face turned a deep shade of red as he realized what he had just said was completely idiotic. 

“I-” He stuttered, trying to think of a way to save the conversation. 

“I get off at six.” She replied rather bluntly. “Why don’t you come back by and we’ll go get a drink. Deal?” 

He let out a sigh of relief, “Deal.”

During a week of training and practice games against the Club Athletico San Juan team, Sakusa noticed that his usually chatty girlfriend was giving him the silent treatment. While he was unaware of anything he may have done to deserve such behavior, he also noticed that her social media accounts had been oddly quiet. 

He checked her twitter feed once more, instagram, even facebook. No new posts in the last twelve or so hours. His eyes narrowed, realizing that it wasn’t that she was ignoring him but she was offline altogether. 

Akemi made it a habit to send him an array of nudes: both still images and videos alike whenever he was out of the country. It was mostly to aggravate him and stir him on. She enjoyed working his last nerve sometimes because the end result was always the rough sex that she so enjoyed. 

However, her lack of online presence had him both worried about her well-being and suspicious that she was up to no good. He finally gave in and called her, wondering if she would even pick up. 

“Omi!” She said cheerfully, though he noticed the exhaustion in her voice. “Is everything okay?” 

“Where are you?” He asked bluntly, and he could hear his shift uncomfortably through the receiver. 

She paused, trying to think of a believable lie and failing totally. “I’m definitely not about to board a plane to San Juan.” 

Sakusa squeezed his eyes shut, rubbing them to try and dispel his frustration. Obviously she was lying. He tried to take a deep breath before replying, “you better be ready to not be able to sit down the rest of the week when you get here.” 

“Yes, sir!” She cheered before hanging up. Mission accomplished.

Hizashi would be a very fun partner. He’s playful and loud, but he’s also very considerate and caring. His love for you runs deep and if anyone tries to hurt you, they have to go through him first! He has a good sense about people and could tell from the start how amazing you are.

He’s a DJ so he knows all the best music and would love to make new playlists for you to enjoy. He doesn’t mind branching out to other genres that he may not be totally familiar with, but honestly its hard to find any music that he doesn’t enjoy. Instead of asking you out forthright, he actually made you a mix tape that basically got his message across for him. Of course you accepted.

Not only does he know his music, he also loves dancing! This is perfect because he could dance all night with you! Similarly he also enjoys just watching you or helping you come up with choreography. He’s just a well rounded guy when it comes to the music industry.

He’d also find creative ways to help you study or motivate you to get your work done. If you have a creative block then he does anything in his power to help get your creativity back!

Perfect date would be going out on the town, dancing and enjoying each other’s company. Maybe even a bit of karaoke if you’re feeling brave enough! Well Hizashi definitely feels brave enough but he won’t force you up on stage if you don’t want to.

Akiteru Tsukishima!!

Plus that makes Kei kinda like your little brother too, right?? What a nightmare.

Akiteru would definitely make for a great boyfriend. He’s devoted and kind, and isn’t a total ass like his brother. He’s also really perceptive so he knows if you’re feeling down or need a little cheering up! He’s great at making you laugh and loves making you smile.

He loves that you’re multilingual and have a multitude of creative talents. Really he’s very proud to show you off and definitely feels like he has the best girlfriend out of all his friends. He enjoys letting you do tarot readings on him and makes it a habit of asking what his horoscope is every morning. He could just look it up himself but he prefers you to tell him.

Though he will poke fun at you, it’s never in a malicious way. It’s simply a way to get you to laugh. If his brother says something he thinks is out of line though, he is quick to put him in his place. His jokes are good natured while the same can’t always be said for Kei. Still, Akiteru won’t let his brother bully you.

You both are kind and caring and have a deep emotional connection as you’re both water signs. He’s also good at hyping you up and encouraging you to complete projects or hone your craft. He’s your very best personal cheerleader which is always nice to have. A bit unrelated but he could give you all the cute stationary you could ever ask from from his work.

The perfect date would probably be going to one of Kei’s volleyball games after a nice dinner at your favorite restaurant. You can both cheer on the brat from the sideline, much to his chagrin.

Edgar Allen Poe!!

Not only a good boyfriend but also a great editor!

Poe is a bit shy, but he definitely asked you out via poetry. It was a bit convoluted and really long, but you definitely appreciated the sweet sentiment. Hopefully it didn’t get too dark for you, sometimes he doesn’t realize that not everyone is into the macabre.

As a writer himself, he definitely loves that one of your hobbies is also writing. You would definitely take turns editing each others works and giving constructive critiques. Of course, he’ll ask if you think his latest mystery is unsolvable enough to send to Ranpo but you’ll be honest with him which he appreciates. You also both help each other when you hit a block, usually by going out on dates or providing some sort of distraction until the creative juices can flow again.

Your creativity definitely is one of the things that first attracted him to you. He believes that your ideas are limitless and it is always fun for him to bounce off new plot ideas with you. You also help him to write realistic woman characters which a lot of male writers tend to falter on. Overall this makes him a better, well-rounded writer and he enjoys the positive reviews he gets on his characterization.

Also he has a pet raccoon! Karl and Cutiepie would make for such cute companions together. Poe loves and cares for Cutiepie just as you do for Karl. It’s really cute how your pets can get along just as well as you do. Perhaps Karl could teach Cutiepie how to ride on your shoulders....

The perfect date would be mystery theater! The interactive kind where you have to figure out who the killer is. The food will be great and the entertainment is even better. Poe would definitely figure it out first, but only with your help. It would be very memorable and fun!

Akitaru Obi!!

His a big beefy captain, what more is there to love?

Obi is such a dedicated and loving partner that anyone would be lucky to have him! He’s a natural born leader just like you and has a keen sense of justice. He also has a good sense of humor and doesn’t mind joking around to lighten the mood. Though he is definitely the type to be serious when the situation calls for it.

He love working out and sees dancing as a great cardio routine. He’d definitely ask you to teach him so that you both could enjoy it together. While it’s not a traditional workout, it can definitely get the heart rate up and sweat flowing. Plus it never hurts to be limber, no matter how big you are! Especially when doing active and dangerous work like battling infernals.

While he’s definitely more of a rock music fan, he doesn’t mind listening to pop. Plus It can just be fun to listen to somethings. His kind heart makes him an excellent partner and he’ll fight anyone that tries to lay a hand on you.

He has a clear sense of good and bad, but you do help him see that the world isn’t necessary black and white like he tends to view it. This does help him grow as a sorcerer and challenge his initial perception of people. Megumi isn’t very creative himself so he really enjoys the fact that he has a partner who is. He also quite enjoys reading, though he prefers nonfiction he would definitely read anything that you write and tell you how he feels about it.

Kyouka stood against the wall of the home, the party raging in front of her. This would be their last party as high school seniors. They’d be graduating officially tomorrow. There was a sort of solemness about the whole thing, because tomorrow would be the end of the pretend relationship between her and Oikawa. 

Speaking of the devil, he sauntered up to her with a drunken smirk on his face. His hand came out to rest against the wall beside her head, caging her in with his frame as he leaned in wreaking of cheap vodka and fruit juice.

She looked back at him, curious as to what he was doing. Certainly he wasn’t about to tempt anything with her cousin so close by. Hajime snapped at the sight of him even kissing her cheek. She couldn’t imagine what a mouth to mouth kiss would make him do. 

“I love you.” He said breathlessly, looking as if he might pass out at any moment. His eyes weren’t focused, pupils wide enough to block out the color of his irises. 

And despite the way the confession made her heart flutter and fill her with a foreign feeling of warmth. Despite the dusting of red on her cheeks, she turned her head to the side and pushed up her glasses with her middle finger. “Tell me that when you’re sober,” She replied effortlessly before moving away from his entrapment and going to find another drink. She was way too sober for this.
