Hey tumblr, my dad is going in for open heart surgery next Wednesday, and will be out of work for... Well, I honestly don't know how long. It could be one month, it could be three. It's Divination Tuesday!

The High Priestess, she who knows.

A simple, elegant design, set in holographic gold foil. The Priestess is represented by a floating skull dressed in a veil of some type and crowned with an upturned crescent moon. Her skull floats above a set of what appear to be robes. The black background is speckled with dots, perhaps indicating stars.

Ko-Fi supporters (even one-time supporters for as low as $1!) can read my grimoire notes on this card in the Alleyman's Tarot deck, plus notes on interesting card combinations!

I got very excited today. My half-size, 2-inch binder finally came in.

You see.... I wore our a book recently. A really important book to me, and it's honestly hilarious that I wore it out considering how short a time I've had it but it's great. It was spiral bound and I recently got a credit online and found some sheet protectors in the books size and used that credit.

I even rubber-cemented in a spot for a commemorative coin I got with it, and a spot for pens and divider tabs.

Yeah. I wore out my copy of the Alleyman's Tarot guidebook. It's the most accurate, call-you-out deck I've ever owned, and the book is just as interesting. I got myself the boosters I didn't have for the holidays as a treat so now I have the full set, and the spiral binding about disintegrated on me.

Got reusable, removable tabbed dividers that I super duper pocketed (I also stole the pens and the rubber cement. Fuck Walmart) and I was able to reorganize the book so that all of the cards are together, all of the instructions and notes are together, and then there's a spot for my notes and readings. I did have to make copies of two pages to make the rearrangement, and I managed to make a blank image of the "paper" background so I could theoretically print out my own notes to match, if I wanted.

But for now, I just have half-sized line paper to write stuff on, and more page protectors.

Finished it all out by making a lil ident card with my sigil on it.

So.... long post to brag about my favorite tarot deck guide book getting a makeover to suit my specific neuroatypicality. It's so organized.

I got my copy of @publishinggoblin 's Alleyman's Tarot in the mail this week and I've been having a lot of fun with it already

The cards are completely mismatched, which I love. It means I can add cards from decks I already have, including cards from @normal-horoscopes 's Normal Tarot, without them looking/feeling out of place

I also added a few of my own design, all from pictures taken by me (you can't really have too many Death cards, can you? who cares that this deck already has 10 or so) and The Performer is by Reinhard Kleist from his Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds Art Book

And to keep everything organized I added dividers to the box

I really recommend this deck, it's beautiful and unique, and I'm very happy I was able to get one
