met an angel today guys it was an old lady with an oxygen machine like my grandpa used to use and she had an open bag of cranberry orange biscotti she was snacking on and she offered me some and i said i would love some but my hands aren’t washed. and so she pulled out some clean napkins and smiled all sneaky and said how about now? and she wrapped it up nice for me and was so pleased when i took some.

and of course i told her i would help her and not let her lift a finger so she wouldn’t strain herself cuz i know how hard it is to function with one of those big heavy oxygen machines and she was so appreciative and kept thanking me for helping her and i mentioned how my grandpa used to have one of those and so i knew to help her right away and she asked about him and how old he is and i told her he was 75 but he passed away two weeks before his 76th bday.

and she asked if i miss him and i said every day and that everything’s been worse since he died. and she said well i’ve been reading a lot of books about heaven and they mention grandkids a lot so i think he’ll be just fine. he’s in heaven right now yknow. watching over you. and i said i think you’re right and she said wow.. i’m 77! and i said well you beat him then! and she laughed <3 angels are real love is real life is about loving i love you women

An emotional review of Circle Thinking by I Hate Sex

I found out about this band, now one of my favorites, through Laura Les wearing a shirt from them in the music video for Money Machine, and I am eternally thankful because there are few bands that have helped me through tough times like I Hate Sex has. Musically, the instrumentation is traditional emo, beautiful guitar and downtempo drums that make you wanna cry, but what really makes it special is the vocals. Nicole Boychuk is screaming her lungs out, burning her throat and yelling some of the most bitter, and at times desperate, lyrics i’ve ever heard. Often I find myself locking myself in the storage room of my house, sobbing and screaming along with her, and it makes me happy to feel like a passing version of a person, recorded in 2015, understands how i feel. This album is only 17 minutes and change long, and this is one of the few times I don’t want an album to be longer. If it were, my throat would be spurting blood by the end.

i'm begging you guys to start pirating shit from streaming platforms. there are so many websites where you can stream that shit for free, here's a quick HOW TO:

1) Search for: watch TITLE OF WORK free online

2) Scroll to the bottom of results. Click any of the "Complaint" links

3) You will be taken to a long list of links that were removed for copyright infringement. Use the 'find' function to search for the name of the show/movie you were originally searching for. You will get something like this (specifics removed because if you love an illegal streaming site you don't post its url on social media)

4) each of these links is to a website where you can stream shit for free. go to the individual websites and search for your show/movie. you might have to copy-paste a few before you find exactly what you're looking, but the whole process only takes a minute. the speed/quality is usually the same as on netflix/whatever, and they even have subtitles! (make sure to use an adblocker though, these sites are funded by annoying popups)

In conclusion, if you do this often enough you will start recognizing the most dependable websites, and you can just bookmark those instead. (note: this is completely separate from torrenting, which is also a beautiful thing but requires different software and a vpn)

you can also download the media in question (look for a "download" button built into the video window, or use a browser extension such as Video DownloadHelper.)
