[Chapter Two]

“[name]!”

You turned your head, before seeing Emily racing towards you to tackle you to the ground in a hug. You laughed, although it came out as more of a wheeze under her crushing grip, and hugged back. She raised her head, eyes watery. 

“Adam said you disappeared,” she said, and the barely restrained fury at him was evident in her voice, which dropped to an incredulous whisper. “Where were you? What happened? Sera’s mad as hell-“

“He didn’t leave me,” you managed to crack a reassuring smile, and Emily’s shoulders drooped at your next words, “I flew off.”

“That doesn’t change the fact that he neglected his responsibility. And, frankly, ignored my direct orders to keep you safe.”

You raised your head to see Sera, her forehead creased in a stressed frown. “Come with me to my office.” She began to turn, then paused, eyebrows pulling right down, deepening her frown. “Is that blood on your clothes?”

You glanced down. The dark patches seemed to be covered with a thin gilded sheen. “I-it’s nothing, really,” you babbled, scrambling to wipe it off, only to see most of it had dried.

Sera didn’t seem convinced.

Emily pulled you up before you followed them hesitantly, the confusion on her face at the situation evident, even though she was smiling at you nervously.  You gulped. 

Charming.

“So, to be clear, you let [name] fly off and put herself in harm's way even though she has no experience as an exterminator?” Sera turned from Adam to you. “[name], this is only a one time thing. You are most certainly not accompanying the exterminators down to Hell next year. After Adam has proven how neglectful he is-“

“No,” you gasped, the words flying out your mouth without you even thinking about them.

 The entire room seemed to freeze.

Awkwardly, you cleared your throat and continued, more gently. “No, it wasn’t his fault. See, what happened was-“ you glanced over at where Adam was seated next to you. He raised an eyebrow, face flat, and you swallowed. Your throat felt like a desert. 

“I flew off,” you continued. “He went after me, I mean, he really tried I swear. But I shook him off and ended up tearing my wing on a branch, hence the blood- he found me a while later and healed me up. The wound wasn’t too serious. It only broke some skin, and- and, I could still fly. We just lost each other in the crowd going back up to the Pentagram is all.”

What am I doing? What the hell am I doing? You could almost feel the beads of sweat forming on your brow as you smiled at her stiffly. 

Sera turned and looked at Adam, waiting for his confirmation. He looked over at you, grinning wide. You pointedly stared back, which wasn’t necessary- he didn’t miss a beat. “Yup. That’s what happened. I was tryna tell ya the whole time and you guys just weren’t listening.”

“Please let me go next year, Sera,” you pleaded, eyes widening. She chewed her lip, contemplating, as you continued. “I was perfectly fine. And I may not be an experienced exterminator, but you know more than well enough I can hold my own against a couple of mere sinners.” You shot a look at Adam.

”Yeah, [name]’s powerful as fuck-“

“I wouldn’t say powerful-“ you began, but was cut off by Sera.

“You’re far too modest, [name],” Sera smiled at you tiredly. “And what you said seems to add up. I know you’d never lie to me-“ she side-eyed Adam, who didn’t notice, continuing to pick at his nails. “-Or to anyone, for that matter. Yes, you may go again next year if you wish.”

You looked at the ground. “Thank you, Sera,” you said, your own voice ringing small in your ears.

“Jeez, sugartits, I didn’t think I’ve ever heard you lie before,” Adam smirked, wiggling his eyebrows at you. You glared at him in fury, before jabbing a finger at his chest. You were both in a hallway, Sera’s office door at the end of the corridor where you had come from. 

“Watch it, Adam,” you hissed, then took a deep breath, calming yourself down. “I did it for you, so be grateful.”

“…thanks.”

You smiled at him. “No problem.” 

You both stared at each other for a few moments, before Adam spoke.

“Are we gonna fuck right now?”

“No!” You hissed, exasperated, feeling your face burn. “No, we are not. Here’s what is gonna happen, Adam. Next extermination, you’re gonna let me fly off by myself, mind your own business, and not tell Sera, and if you don’t do that, I’ll blab and tell them everything. And then they’ll hate you forever.”

He stared at you for a second, blankly. You gulped, your blood pounding in your ears. Crap. Dumb idea-

Adam finally raised an eyebrow. “Why do you want to go off sneaking around Hell during the extermination, sugartits? Got a secret?”

“Most certainly not,” you snapped. “I simply want to explore Hell alone.”

Adam stared at you for a moment. “You never say what’s on your fuckin’ mind, do ya, sugartits? You always gotta water it down to be nice. If I annoy the shit outta you, just say that.” 

Your gaze softened, then you shook your head and stared at your feet. “I’m not a mean person.”

“Not mean if it’s the truth.” He shrugged. You looked back up at him. He was wearing that familiar, shit-eating grin again. You huffed and rolled your eyes, kicking at the pristine floor. 

“Sure. Well, some people have a filter.” 

“Meh. Whatever.”

“So, will you do what I asked you to do?”

Yeah, I’ll do what you want.”

“Wait really?” You stared at him. 

“Yeah, I don’t give a fuck. Do what you want, you saved my ass from a three hour lecture back in there anyways.”

You watched him walk away until he rounded a corner and disappeared, shocked at his nonchalance, and then pressed your back to the wall and sank down, head in your hands. 

Did you seriously lie to the Seraphim just to be able to go back to Hell next year? Why? Why?

Was it because of- no way. Don’t be ridiculous. You knew Lucifer had the quality of being ‘tempting’, from what the Bible said, at least, but there was no way you were being led to temptation from a small interaction with absolutely no ‘tempting’ aspects to it. Whatsoever. 

Hell is a nice break from Heaven. And it’s interesting to see what it’s like. I’m just curious is all… 

You stared at your hands, mind flashing back to something Sera had said a while ago.

Curiosity killed the cat. 

“[name]?”

You looked up. Sera was staring down at you. “Are you alright?”

You cursed internally, your heart almost leaping out of your throat. “Yes, Sera, I’m just… thinking.”

“Perhaps I could help?”

You studied her face. It was wearing the specific, reserved look she wore for when she was suspicious but didn’t want to show it. You smiled and shook your head. 

“I’m just trying to figure out what I ate this morning that could make my stomach hurt this much.”

Sera’s face relaxed, nodding. You knew that she wouldn’t believe that you’d lie to her. You knew it would be easy to squash her suspicions. 

“Well,” Sera said, “Let me know if you need anything.”

You nodded smiled weakly again, watching her steady, deliberate steps as she disappeared around the corner, then hung your head again, sighing.

You prayed you weren’t digging yourself into a hole.

Hurt/comfort anyone? 😌

We all know Adam's "big and tough" act, how he gloats before anyone that he's the absolute best since he's the og dick and he's the reason the rest of the mankind was created, but what about Adam just being Adam like anytime else, especially the scene in court and Sera just talking his ear off about him acting irresponsibly and just revealing the exterminations to everyone in the worst way possible, just giving him a good ol' talk, but not in a nice way, nope. She crushes his ego in a way before leaving him alone in the room, saying she has stuff to attend and he's just standing there, all deflated and his mask glitching from how many conflicted feelings fly over his face, he's resignated, he's even sad a bit, but also angry. At Sera, at Heaven, God even, but mostly at himself since he knows he fucked up another thing in his life that he was trusted with.

He goes back home to unsuspecting of anything reader and just passes by him, not saying a word, even tho reader tried to greet him and hug him, but was unable to since Adam just brushed past him quickly. There was a heavy air surrounding reader's husband and he grew concerned, so he went to check up on him, seeing Adam just curled up on the bed, wrapped up in his own wings, shielding himself away from the world, not a sound coming out of him, but reader knew something shitty happened and just gets behind him, hugging him tightly and gently petting his wings, not saying a word to let Adam calm down and speak when he's comfortable enough to do so. Adam just smashing himself into reader and asking quietly if he was actually so bad at everything that he didn't deserve anything good in his life, if that was why everyone he cared about before left him and even now no body cares in the slightest bit about his existence. Basically just Adam having an existential crisis and reader being his anchor, trying to tell and show him how it actually is and not what his mind is telling him.

This sad, wet cat bitch needs validation and love like no one before 😞🤘

“Adam,” the older seraphim raised her voice against the first man loudly, it echoed through her office with much more power than the first man had expected it to, he flinched a little at her tone, his wings dropping to their lowest. “Sera, I-” Adam wanted to explain, wanted to turn it into the stupid joke it had been, but the older seraphim had enough of it. She had enough of Adam, she had enough of his behavior and she was about to let him know. “You’re behavior is no longer accepted by us,” she started what would turn into a monologue, Adam made himself appear a little smaller at her words. “You walk on heaven's holy ground, eat the food our Father provides and whenever someone does not show you respect, your first argument is that you're the first human,” all of the things Sera had listed were true, well they had been the most obvious ones but that didn't make them less true. “And yet you behave like one of them sinners,” that however caught Adam's attention. He was what? How dare she insult him like that, he was very much not acting like a sinner. Or was he?

“You walk heaven's streets with curses on your lips, you dirtied your own purity by sleeping with so many women and men, you behave like a total child and don't know when to stop and where to draw the line and I personally am under the impression that we let your behavior slide for way too long,” she stared Adam in the eyes, giving the first man the most serious look he had ever gotten from the seraphim. The brunette lowered his head in defeat, Sera had often given him shit for being too loud, too much of this, too much of that, she had told him he wasn't behaving like the pure first human should - but it wasn't Adam's fault, not really, because how was he supposed to behave ‘normal’ when God had given him two wives just to take them from him again when he was alive? How was he supposed to fit in and act like everyone else when all that would bring him would be pain?

“Maybe divine judgment failed you. Maybe you should have ended up in hell amongst the other sinners. Father certainly wouldn't have liked it, not after Lucifer's fall, but it would have been the correct decision.” And that made Adam crumble into pieces - at least mentally. Because deep down inside he knew she was right, that no angel other than him dared to stain the name of the Father above, no other angel dared to behave as reckless and merciless as he and his exorcists did. And yes, no other angel than him had slept with so many women and men - a thing he used to be proud of. Before he had met you, before you had become his lover, before he had committed himself to you and only you. Before you, he had been different.

She smoothened out her hair, straightened her back and looked down at Adam, “I have to attend an important meeting. You shall leave and overthink your actions, Adam.” And with that she left him there, leaving him as she had shattered not only his ego but the last piece of confidence he had held inside of him. It took the brunette a while to realize that Sera was not coming back to comfort him, to tell him that she had been too harsh, why should she? She was right after all, Adam was a horrible person, he knew that, had known it ever since.

When the door to your shared apartment opened and Adam walked through it, you were quick to get up and greet him with a warm hug, expecting your boyfriend to be just as excited to see you as you were to see him. But he wasn't, in fact he didn't even look at you as he crossed the living room in order to get to the bedroom, no ‘sup babes’, no ‘Fuck I've missed ya stupid ass' no fucking nothing. The tips of his feathers were dragging on the floor as he walked, a sign that something wasn't right - Adam always made sure that not a single inch of his beloved wings was touching the dirty ground, even in your apartment. The brunette clearly wasn't in the mood to talk, yet you went after him to let him know that he wasn't alone, that you were there no matter what was wrong.

You opened the bedroom door quietly and what you saw shattered your heart. Adam was laying on the bed, his body looked like a ball made out of feathers, he had curled in on himself, his wings shielded him from all of reality, from whatever was hurting him right now. Yet you saw how his body shook, the first man was crying.

Wordlessly you closed the door behind you, trying to do so as quietly as possible. Then you walked over to the bed and cuddled up behind him, one of your hand gently found its way into his hair, petting it just the way you knew he liked it whenever he was feeling upset about something, the other hand of yours smoothened out the feathers covering his wings, gently rubbed the little gap between where the wings grew out of his back - you were very aware how sensitive that area of the angelic body was given that you yourself had experienced it before.

For you it was ridiculously hard to keep quiet, you wanted to talk to him, wanted to ask what was upsetting him so much, why he was crying, what there was for you to do to make it better, but you didn't. You remained quiet, Adam had made it clear that he preferred not talking about it at the moment - or maybe he simply found himself unable to do so, you weren't quite sure which was the case but either way you respected it.

A small smile appeared on your face as the brunette leaned into your touch, he tilted his head backwards, sad, puffy and reddened eyes watched you as you continued to pet his hair without a single comment, if Adam wanted to talk, you would listen. If Adam wanted to stay quiet and enjoy your presence in silence you were fine with that as well. For you it simply was important that the first man knew he wasn't alone. You were there to provide comfort and a safe space he desperately seemed to need.

“Am I as fucking terrible as people tell me I am?” there it was again, his unnecessary cursing, fuck Sera had been right. He rolled himself over, buried his face in your neck and pressed his body against your own. Your body warmth calmed his nerves, made his mind quiet down for even just the tiniest moment, but it did cause it to quiet down. “Is that why I only have Lute and you left? Because I'm fucking terrible? Because I don't deserve damn good things to happen to me?” his voice was really just a whisper yet you understood every word perfectly fine, even if it was mumbled against your skin. Your hands remained on the gap between his wings and in his hair, giving Adam the stability he craved. He needed someone to cling onto, he was too unstable to hold himself together so you did that for him. “No,” your voice was soft and warm, yet serious, it caused Adam to blink in confusion. “I don't deserve you,” was the next thing he said, and that was where you drew the line, you gently tilted his head upwards, then placed a soft, loving kiss onto his lips, “Bullshit Adam, you're wonderful and I love you.” “But I’m not. I curse a-fucking-lot, I can't keep shit together, for fucks sake I can't even do the simple things like telling you I fucking love you every day.” And yes, that was true, but that didn't cause you to love him any less, if anything it was things you loved about him especially. “I don't care about all of that, I still love you.” “Will you leave me too? Like Eve? Like Lilith? Once you finally fucking find someone better?” You shook your head lightly, placed another kiss onto his forehead, your lips kept resting against his skin as you spoke, “No, dummy. To me there's no one better than you are. You're the best for me and you'll always be.” Adam didn't answer you.

He clung onto you even tighter, wrapped his wings around you and held you close. He didn't believe you, simply couldn't, not after what Sera had said. But at the same time the first man trusted you with his existence, so why would you lie to him? His inner conflict was silenced as you pulled him into another gentle kiss. You couldn't help but hum a soothing melody, “You’ve already changed so much, so many things you've done,” you felt as Adam's eyes fell shut and as his body relaxed underneath your touch. “So many songs you've sung, and in the end, they will still hold their grudge,” you felt him nuzzle against your skin, felt how his breath evened out. “There’s something I've been dying to say, more than anything,” you smiled as you sang the last part, feeling Adam's fingers digging in your skin as he tried to pull you even closer - not that it was nearly enough though. “More than anything, need you to know I love you more than anything.” The first man pressed a sloppy, lazy kiss against your jaw before he fell asleep, from his lips fell a quiet, “More than anything.”

New au alert! (Recalled angels au) I like dark aus I've realised.

Due to all issues heaven has been having with hell the elder angels finally decides to do something. I can imagine after another large fight with hell a few of the elders come down to hell to stop it.

What heaven have realised is that most of the issues that have arrived have come from angels that have been sent to hell.

Lucifer: is actively now fighting more against heaven now than when he was in heaven. Him fighting sparks more sinners to want to fight.

Vaggie: an exorcist who's been left in hell, sharing her abilitys and knowledge about heaven with the people in hell.

The exorcists : Adam and so many exorcist angels died because they entered hell to fight.

The elders make a decision to recall every single angel back to heaven, were they will be punished. This doesn't go over well with Charlie or anyone one else in the hotel but they don't have a choice because the elders are far stronger than anyone in hell.

Lucifer looses his title as king of hell when he's forced back to heaven, he is then striped of many of his major powers to make retaliation less likely. He has to say with his brother's at all time to ensure he doesn't try anything though he and Emily are trying to find a way to help those in hell and get in contact with Charlie.

After Adam spills the news of the exterminations at the trial the rest of heaven becomes outraged, but since Adam has died the only ones left to be punished for it are the exorcists, when vaggie is forced back to heaven she is sent back to the exorcists much to lutes dismay. Not every exorcist hated her so she still had at least a few comrades who welcomed her.

But wanting to punish the exorcists also come with an issue. The exorcists were literally created to hunt and kill sinners, it's there only purpose and many winners wanted to punish the angels who created them but no action was taken. The exorcists were also to violent to be brought into the normal city of heaven. The exorcists were seen to have to much blood on there hands and so every single exorcist (yes this includes vaggie) looses their hands.(There's some brutal punishments in the bible so i don't put them past this, it even says if your arm causes you to sin they cut it off, and the killing the exorcists did definitely counts as a sin), there then later replaced with ones if angelic steal.

The exorcists now live extremely far away from the main parts of heaven only entering if a higher ranked angel wants new body guards or the need lute for a meeting (the new leader of the exorcists)

They would all be gone from hell for around 5 to 10 years and in this time Charlie would be the new queen of hell still trying her best to help everyone, though she is heavily depressed due to vaggie and her dad being gone, the only good thing to come from this is the confirmation that her hotel works, as she was told by the elders before they left , she hopes if she does enough good she would be able to she them again.

Emily tried extremely hard to keep happiness in heaven but it's difficult when a lot of winners lose trust in the higher ups. She hangs round with sir pentious and Molly a lot and they help her with her duties. Emily tries to visit the exorcists as much as she can, Sera hates this but Emily wants to help them because their struggling greatly and also wants to talk with vaggie, with a lack of purpose and an inability to fly unless there on duty for a higher up or a high class winner has caused them to become more aggressive, depressed and overall a bit stir crazy with is very bad for a large flock of birds because it means a lot of pulled out feathers.

Seraphiel thinks that heaven has the high advantage against carmilla but they are proven wrong. Lucifer is not entertaining the idea of his family being executed simply for trying to protect themselves against the extermnations. And as for sera and Emily, they willingly fell so there are no crimes held against them.

So he decides himself to go have a little "chat" with seraphiel and the arch angels.

Lucifer stands in the middle of the angelic courtroom. He hasn't been here in, what? Eight thousand? Ten thousand years? Normally, he's never allowed in Heaven, under any circumstances. That's the way it's been ever since he fell. However, it was unusually easy to request an audience with the High Seraphim this time around. Normally, he meets with Heaven ambassadors at his Hell embassy. On equal ground, in his own turf; but cocky and overly sure of himself, Seraphiel had demanded they meet here, of all places.

Seraphiel hadn't even given him the benefit of a podium. Lucifer stands there, in the same damn square tile on the floor where he'd stood when they passed judgement on him, all those millenia ago. It's an attempt to make him feel vulnerable and weak, Lucifer realizes. But the little king has already been through literal Hell and back in is long existence; it will take much more than this, he thinks, to make him feel uncomfortable.

Seraphiel looks down at him from his pedestal. He's taller now, just like Sera, but without the sincerity and kindness that's always been present behind her eyes. His jaw and nose are sharp, angled, bird-like, and strong. His hair is the same white, cloud-like curls his sister possesses. The main difference in their features is that maniacal, twisted grin on his face. Sera had never wanted to see Lucifer fall; Seraphiel, on the other hand, had been giddy for it. One less Seraphim in the way to his direct line of power, Lucifer suspects. And now with Sera gone, the cocksure angel has finally gotten his way.

"Greetings, Morningstar," Seraphiel booms across the courtroom, forcing his voice to carry so he can be heard by all in their presence. Hellfire, this bastard is so full of himself, Lucifer thinks. "I see you are here on behalf of one Carmilla Carmine. I told her we would not be entertaining any changes to our agreement."

Lucifer chuckles. "Agreement? The way I read it, she didn't have the chance to agree to anything. Your terms were quite clear."

"Indeed," Seraphiel says, less amused with him now that Lucifer's had the gall to talk back. "I also seem to recall that I said any attempts to change the terms would be considered an outright refusal. I should kill all of them right now. That would be my right."

Lucifer smiles. That same wicked, signature smile that makes him so intimidating to his subjects, even now. This maniac in front of him really is just a petty, childish, ignorant little know-it-all, Lucifer thinks. Seraphiel is no Sera; he can't even keep the details of his deals straight.

Lucifer laughs. "I seem to recall the deal I made with your predecessors shields me and my family from your people's judgement. That includes the Exterminations and any other random act of retribution you may have against Sinners. Is that something you forgot?"

"Yes, your family has absolute immunity, for now," Seraphiel confirms. "That doesn't include the Carmine woman, her offspring, or anyone she invites into her home."

Lucifer laughs even harder. He leans on his cane, showing for all the world he knows he has nothing to fear from anyone here.

"Well, see, that's where you're wrong," Lucifer mocks, looking up at the frowning High Seraphim from underneath the brim of his large, white hat. "You may not be aware, but my daughter recently entered into a relationship with Emily. You know, your other sister? The one you said would never amount to anything? Ah, yes, I know you remember her. She stole the subcommittee seat right out from under your nose, didn't she?"

"You fucking piece of--!" Seraphiel stands, starting to shout. But when every eye immediately averts in response to his sudden outburst, he sits down again, trying desperately to maintain his composure. Lucifer sees his struggle, relishing in it, and uses that moment to drive the final point home.

"Yes, that Emily! Aaaaaanyway, she's dating my daughter now! Isn't that amusing! Which makes her family, for all intents and purposes. Which makes Sera family by proxy. Meaning that you can't do shit to either of them. And honestly, if I were the type of guy who thought revenge was worth it, I could have the elders court-martial you right now, for injuring one of Sera's stepdaughters. "

"Wait, that's not--!" Seraphiel starts, but Lucifer interrupts him again.

"Your contract is with me, not Carmilla, Philly, my boy," Lucifer continues. "My contract precedes anything you could draft up with her. I'm sorry, but my hands are tied." Lucifer jokingly shape-shifts his arms until they're tied together tight, like an exaggeratedly large bow tie, to drive the point home. "My family is safe. My entire family, even the ones who enter through romantic relationships. And since now the one who drafted up that contract is also in my family, well, I'd say you're shit out of luck. And if you ever come after one of them again, I will take it up with your superiors. Capiche?"

Lucifer waits for an answer, but when he doesn't get one, he smiles. "Wonderful! I'm glad we understand each other. Good to see you again, Philly! The pleasure's been all mine!"

With that, Lucifer turns on his heels, spinning his cane in a wide arc and whistling as he exits the courtroom. He can hear Seraphiel trying to protest behind him, while a couple of the angels on his subcommittee attempt to keep their leader under control. Seraphiel shouts out after him, something about how slimy he is, and about getting even. But Lucifer is already out the door, opening a portal to his palace, ready to tell Carmilla the good news.

It's always good to read the fine print of every contract, Lucifer recalls. He, the silver tongue and father of lies, is particularly good at finding such loopholes. Lute obviously doesn’t like the idea of sinners being redeemed. (Source: all her dialogue referring to sinners, ever). But what if, in trying to turn heaven towards her ideals to gain more power, she uses the fact that redemption is possible to blame Sera for Adam’s death, then slowly changes the ideals she speaks of to fit her original violent nature with the ‘winners’ of heaven not even realising they’ve been conned into thinking something completely opposite to the original.

Lute and Adam are clearly meant to depict the more violent and prejudiced side of Christianity ( with Sera being more ignorant and stuck in her ways than actually ‘evil’, like your grandma that still says slurs because she thinks its okay) so why not go the whole way and have Lute as a cult leader type character. Using Adam as her martyr and Sera as her focal point for blame she could get a large following.

For a more in depth look, it could go something like this:

Lute finds out about Pentious, realises that she’s got barely any exterminators left to lead and that if this gets out the winners and probably some of the heaven born would want to help more people get up (i think its cannon that they don’t remember anyone from earth that went to hell, but imagine if someone were to remember Pentious and convince others that there were people in hell that they knew and loved, just didn’t remember).

She knows she can’t just straight up target Pentious, as people admire him for rising. Lute goes for the next best thing, Sera, blaming her for Adams death. With the right words the angels in the courtroom may back her up despite what she says. If Lute pretends to repent for all the killing because it wasn’t necessary she could drag people in VERY quickly with pity points from being ‘used’ by Sera. Since she lied to Emily it’s entirely possible that at this point Emily would be super on Lute’s side.

From here, Lute can start to introduce the idea that while sinners can be redeemed, the hellborn are still dangerous. After all, it’s the influence of the hellborn that keeps sinners from the path of good, right? Exterminations start again, this time ONLY for the hellborn, flipping over the deal with Lucifer entirely so the exterminators have to take on a more stealthy approach. Revenge for Adam they all stick by, and they still think that by killing overlords that they’re going to help redeem the sinners.

Emily saw how Angel was treated by Valentino so it’s entirely possible that she’d, while not a fan of the violence still agree with the main message and fall down the same path as Sera (Killing THEM protects US).

Lute can then slowly go down the line as time goes on of, not just hellborn, but also very powerful sinners, but also all sinners close to overlords ect.

If she does it right, Lute can end up with the say in who dies and who doesn’t, who has the potential for redemption and who needs to die. (This is where i see Emily falling out and suspecting that Lute doesn’t actually want the sinners to be redeemed)

Anything Sera says is the opposite of what they need to do, if she preaches non-violence to make up for her errors the irony of Lute continuing to be violent after condemning Sera for it will be completely lost and they’ll blindly follow.

Lucifer gets to intercept at times but would he find it in him to kill angels who think that they’re HELPING the redemption effort?

Lute comes off as a character who is as clever as she is tough and after losing to Vaggie in a fight she’d be inclined to take a different option.

Eventually, Lute being shunned by others in heaven would be POETIC after what she did to Vaggie, so ending this plot point with the angels finding their way through her manipulation rather than a blunt murder is how i envision it. Of course it could be a range of factors that dissolve her following.

I don’t have any hope that this would actually happen in the show due to the complexity and I’ve not even mentioned how Lilith/Eve could fit into this, I haven’t even been specific about how Lute would treat the Hotel (a multitude of different, branching points there). I think this is good purely because many people have pointed out how Lucifer seemed unbothered during the finale and fighting misinformation is significantly harder than fighting in the physical sense so the hotel would lose some of its OP standing. Similar to how Alastor got beat up in the finale so the audience don’t view him as a catch all shield for the hotel.

Integra

Integra is a very proud and headstrong woman, it is only natural that she wants someone who can withstand her strength.

She has a motherly side, and would treat her SO with grace and care. She would make sure they’re protected.

She knows the dangers of the world, and is intent on keep her SO safe and sound, sometimes restricting their movements if she senses the situation is too dangerous. She would keep them in her study, talking all night and reading together, complimenting them just enough to keep them on their toes. She knows her charisma and isn’t afraid to use it.

She would also not hesitate to make them work. She is the Hellsing family’s heir, and is not going to settle on someone wimpy. They’d have to prove themselves to her, in more than one way.

Alucard

Likewise, Alucard won’t settle for less than someone interesting and entertaining.

I imagine he would be very romantic in a strange way, always singing praises and teasing his SO in any way possible. He’s also very kinky, so that doesn’t help his creepy allegations.

Despite that, he would hesitate to bring his SO on missions alongside him. Only if they know how to protect themselves. He would gladly take holy bayonets to the ribs for his partner if it comes to it.

He would be unsettling at times, testing their limits (without crossing boundaries of course, vampires can’t come in unless invited) and seeing how they react to his different forms and powers. Maybe he’d let them hold his guns to see if they can lift them, or let them put on his coat just to see his partner wobble around in a coat that’s five sizes too big for them.

Seras

Seras is as sweet as they come. She knows what hardship is like, and loves to take care of her SO.

She is a cuddle monster. Don’t let her catch you off guard, because her vampire strength is no joke. She has yet to control it.

She would also object wholeheartedly to her partner going on missions with her, not wanting a single scratch on them. If she has to, she WILL tape them to a chair to prevent them from going anywhere while she’s at work.

She would get very defensive if anyone ever tries to mess with her SO, and knowing her, that can range from getting told "Go away, you mean freak !" to actually getting shot to smithereens.

Walter

Walter is very attentive and doesn’t mess around. One wrong move and someone is getting dismembered. So their SO can know they’re safe with him.

He would cater to their every need, and see as they are the most comfortable possible.

Emotionally, he would be devoted and suave. As a butler, it is only natural that he makes sure his SO is living their best life. He might be a bit smothering at times. However, when it comes to HIS emotions, he can be flustered and might slip up if his SO makes a move first.

That said, he would not hold them back on missions, letting them grow stronger and intervening if he has to.

Pip

Pip is a womanizer. And a romantic one at that. But, with a SO he settled with, they don’t have to worry about cheating. He might get smacked on the head for flirting innocently with someone else, but that’s about it.

Dates with him are simple, but they’re the most fun someone could have. Maybe he’d even bring them with the Wild Geese to teach them how to use weaponry.

He would give them the most sweet and teasing french nicknames, ranging from Mon Cher, to Mon Cœur, to Mon Amour to ones you have to see in a dictionary. All said with a cigarette in his mouth and a wink.

He would show off his SO to everyone, say loud and proud that they’re his, especially to the Wild Geese. He just has to let everyone know that they’re together and he loves them.

Laura

Laura is a bit of a mixed bag. For an old creature, she hasn’t lived among humans that much. However, when she does find someone that loves her, she clings to them like a leech.

As a maid, she would make sure everything is perfect for them and that their every need is met. Do not complain around her, because she WILL kill someone if they looked at you wrong or break a door that caught your sleeve. In means of security, her SO probably has one of the best bodyguards one could wish for. They might even see her in full wolf form if the situation calls for it.

She has a hard time being emotional, so she lets them make moves. Other than her serving them with her deeds or her body, she has no idea how she could be desirable. So her SO would need to know how to treat her with kindness, even if she can be a bit too honest from time to time. (She apologizes immediately if she says something wrong.)

They would see her at her most vulnerable maybe. She takes care of them as much as they take care of her. It’s a symbiotic relationship.

There are multible deals going on in the background. Not only do angel and husk have deals but .

Alastor and someone.Lilith and Adam. Adam and sera. Have a deal with each other.

I was a little confused what a deal with alastor and lilith could be about since lilith doesnt need anything from alastor and he would not be stupid enough to sell his soul just for power. So what if all of their deals are conected.

First Adam and Sera

Hell is growing too strong and the negativ influence of the sinners make roo stronger ( root of all evil who wants to bring hell to heaven and earth ) who will be able to take over heaven if this continues. So they have to decrease the sinners. He is willing to kill them if she allows it.

Adam and lilith

Lilith is the one who fights back the first exterminations so Adam tells her why he was allowed to do this ( why hell has to decrease ) and promises her he will spare her family if she does nothing. Since lucifer isnt doing anything eather she decides it is an okay Arrangement.

Than Lilith gets the idea to trap / lock roo away. This would decrease the sinners who come to hell making the exterminations pointles. She tells adam and he agrees to the plan ( not because he wants the extermination to be over but to lock roo away ) in the wiki it is roo who took over eva and is responsible for adam and humanity suffering.

Lilith actually succided 7 years ago in trapping roo and as a reward since she tecnically erased her sin ( helping roo influence all humanity ) she was allowed into heaven.

Adam prentends to only keep the exterminations going until the New generations of none evil / roo influced people will die ( if roo is only gone for 7 years the people born without her influence will only be 7 / there have to be a lot more years of still influnced people dying before anyone would reconise a decrease in evil souls ). Eather he was lying and giving lilith access to heaven was to keep her out of the way. Not letting her know about it. Or he was planning to keep his end and stop once the new generation arrives and her stay was just the extra for her acomplishment. Sera probably knows lilith is there so i guess the letter.

This would make lilith a Person who takes action and decides her own fate and fixed the mess she helped to make. Lucifer hates his own people so what if lilith got sick of them as well and helping curing humanity of evil and making sure that evil doesnt get enough sinners to take over heaven is her new goal. That her people have to die is a consequence she can live with.

Roo

The wiki says roo is trapped. So what if lilith trapped her ( roo is part of eve so it would be fitting / in the show we say eve go evil maybe becoming roo )

Roo is a Person who hates free will. She has minions but doesnt allow much freedom and wants them instead to become a part of her. A few humans woreship her on earth. She has the ability to get stronger the more chaos is caused in hell and is able to nullify other powers. She is obsessed with Charlie and liked alastor because he was causing so much chaos.

What if in the moment roo got trapped she contacted alastor. ( eather he know her as a human or later once he made his big entrance in hell ) she forced him into a deal, which is her thing more than lilith since she hates free will. He is supposed to free her and he doesnt want to because the people who serve her become part of her. Having a worse fate than death before him and complete loss of free will he looks for a way to escape this deal. During this she is able to nullify his powers and trys to get into his minde to take over.

During this he sees her Obsession over Charlie ( the daughter of the Person to trap her ) and plans to take this as an advantance to make her let him go.

The 7 years are conected, however it is alastor and roo who made a deal because of lilith. Not a deal with lilith herself.

Varric winced.  "Not exactly.  Can you go find Sparkler and drag him on a treasure hunt or something?  Keep him out of sight?"

"Blondie, are you insane?"

Anders shrugged and tugged the hood closer as his eyes flashed blue.  "Hawke needs us." 

Erimond made a pained gurgling noise and dropped to the ground as Fenris released his spine or his heart or whatever he'd been threatening to rip out.  "He knows nothing."

"Kill him anyway."  Isabela's voice was rough, and her arm tightened around Merrill's shoulders. 

"It is not our place."  Anders' voice had two tones in it, a sure sign that Big Blue and Angry was considering coming out to play.  "We need to go."

"Go where?"  Varric asked.  "Don't get me wrong, staying here is a terrible idea, but -"

Merrill looked at him, and the force of that glare made him step back a pace.  Back in Kirkwall, with all her fumbling and bumbling, it had been hard to remember just how powerful she was.  "We're getting Emjee back."

"They."  There was Big Blue and Angry.

Solas nodded apologetically, then continued.  "They were physically in the Fade, no normal mortal can just -"

"And I trust you to save it while we save Hawke."  With that, Merrill walked out, Isabela in tow.  Anders followed after them.  Fenris spat on Erimond's crumpled form before phasing back through the bars of his cell.

"What is - what did you just do?"  Solas asked, surprised and intrigued.

Fenris arched eyebrow then glanced at Varric.  "Not a fan of yours?"

at a certain point some of the companions must have caught on to the fact quiz may not be working with the inquisition of their own volition. like some of them had to be hoping for the disbanding of the inquisition when the exalted council was called so that their friend/lover could get a break.

also, I wonder if that would change any of the relationships between the companions and Cullen/Lelianna/Cassandra. it’d certainly give varric more reasons to be antagonistic towards her, is he’s at high approval

Varric is an odd one, given he and Solas are there from the start and so are present for Cassandra locking Quiz up and then forcing them to help her; if anyone's going to know that Quiz isn't there willingly, it's the two of them! I guess Varric was also a prisoner when he arrived at Haven and Solas is an apostate, so they might be trying to somewhat keep their heads down to avoid drawing Cassandra and the advisors' attention to them being very open about the much-vaunted Herald of Andraste being a glorified prisoner, but like... Varric knows exactly how you got into this situation to begin with, and then apparently decides that he's going to keep his mouth shut about this of all things? Even though he doesn't particularly like any of the people responsible for getting you into this and has zero reason to help them? Really?

But yeah, given there are points where you can pretty openly tell your companions that you don't want to be here (the option to nominate yourself as a potential Inquisitor to Bull solely on the grounds that you're there whether you like it or not is especially blatant), the way no one seems to really acknowledge that you're not there willingly bothers me. Why even give the player the option of telling their companions that they don't want to be stuck working with the Inquisition if none of them are going to show any sign of caring?! If nothing else, I'd love there to be some additional/altered banters where if you tell a given companion about Cassandra threatening you into joining the Inquisition after reaching a reasonably high approval rating they are noticeably colder towards her in banter, because she threatened their friend/lover into a deeply unpleasant situation and by all accounts is still doing so. Possibly some messenger conversations implying that at least some of the companions have a bit of a bone to pick with the advisors about it.

Especially with the romances! Blackwall's got the lady and knight energy to his romance that would lead to him taking his lover being threatened Very Badly, Sera hates people being pushed around by people with more power than them, Bull's whole deal is doing everything in his power to make Quiz feel safe and supported, Dorian's main hesitation in his romance quest is that too many people ask too much of Quiz as it is, Solas is against people being forced to serve others on general principle even when he doesn't give a shit about the individual personally... I don't buy for a second that any of them would hear Quiz say they were forced into the Inquisition and don't want to be there and respond with anything less than fury. But instead none of them say shit about it. Let the LIs be protective towards their protagonist!

But I do love the image of the companions hearing about the Exalted Council and their first thought being "Oh thank the Maker, Quiz might finally get to rest". It would be so good if consistently picking the reluctant or unhappy options re being the Inquisitor and being part of the Inquisition led to if nothing else dialogue changes in Trespasser where the companions show some happiness on your behalf at the opportunity to just let the Inquisition end. I would also like it if consistently picking the "I don't want to be here" options led to changes in Quiz's dialogue where instead of getting pissy at people for daring to be mad about the Inquisition squatting on their land, Quiz got angry because they've wanted to disband the Inquisition basically from day one and they were blocked from doing so and now everyone's acting like it's their fault!

Who's the strongest, Bill Cipher, Zhan Tiri, The Collector, Pariah Dark or Sera?

And if you start with your stupid fucking headcanons instead of canon on screen material, you are no longer allowed to write or draw anything in those fandoms!

First of all, fuck you if you think you can actually stop me. I will write what I want when I want and you can scream at me until you explode but you can't stop me. I can just shut you up by turning off Anon.

But, I will indulge your rude demand. Hm….let's see…

Bill Cipher: His origins are currently unknown, however an "Ask Cipher" thing awhile back run by the show's creator heavily implied he came from a world like "Flatland" by Edwin Abbott Abbott. How he become to be so powerful is unknown. He has the appearance of a giant 2D triangle with golden-yellow bricks. He has one large eye with big lashes and black arms, legs, hat, bowtie and cane. He's powerful enough to destroy galaxies and eats planets for a snack. He's older than the Milky Way at least and can go into the dreams of anyone that doesn't take precautions against him. He rules over an entire realm called the "Nightmare Realm" and a powerful being named "Time Baby", who he later destroyed after getting out, sealed him and his followers inside of his realm, but he was still able to influence things going on outside of it. He shapeshifts into various types of triangle forms on-screen and possesses anyone foolish enough to make a Deal with him that lets him into their mind and is able to see into the past, present and future, though that last one is changing so constantly it's difficult to know if what he sees is what will happen. He manipulated various people over various generations and areas of the world until he finally had a portal built that he could escape through and then he took over the town he came out in, completely transforming it and its inhabitants to his liking, but was stopped by a powerful supernatural barrier on the other side that kept him in that town. He was finally defeated by a conman that took advantage of his eagerness to win to trick him into making a Deal with the wrong guy to get that barrier dropped, being destroyed along with the man's own mind, but still may be around due to a prior arrangement he made with a being more powerful than him called "The Axolotl". His body is an indestructible statue in Gravity Falls' woods, perhaps the fact it can't be destroyed is a sign of his eventual return? With "The Book of Bill" coming out soon, I suspect we'll get more information on this particular specimen.

Zhan Tiri: Her origins are unknown but she seems to have been human at some point and wanted power to be as strong as a god. Aside from a giant demonic form of a black squid standing on its tentacles with human arms and the head of a ram, she has the appearance of a gray-skinned woman dressed in purple Victorian-style clothes with purple hair. She has the ability to shapeshift into her demonic form, her human form and supposedly she can change into a blizzard, but that particular part seems to have been confused in writing because the legend says she sent the blizzard, not that she became it. In fact, there are a lot of statements made in earlier seasons that season 3 completely contradicts, so that's corrupted evidence. She has at least three followers seen on-screen with several more in the comics, though we only see two fully in the comics with several others being eyes in the darkness. She was sealed away into another realm that weakened her significantly so that she was trapped in the form of a human, which is why it was believed that she was originally a human being. She escaped by tricking various people into using the clashing of the powers of the Sun and Moon to free her and then was defeated by that same power when she made the mistake of putting the magic stones on her wrists that were later slammed together after her brief victory, destroying her. There is no indication that she will ever return. There is no indication that any further data is forthcoming.

The Collector: Part of a race of powerful beings from another world, he was the odd one out and instead of wanting to simply observe and collect, he wanted to indulge and closely interact. He was tricked into leading the others to his new friends, the powerful Titans, so they could wipe them out and then was sealed away by the only survivor that blamed him for the deaths of his people. He has the appearance of a white-haired little boy dressed in purple, blue and white space-themed pajamas. While sealed away he was able to interact with certain people by creating a shadow of himself but shows no sign of having that ability once unsealed and can transform a portion of the area he is currently in into his playground and turn people into dolls as well as fly around with ease. He has no "Followers", persay, but there is a group of people that completely misunderstand him and want to finish the work he did by wiping out the Titans completely. He was tricked into helping Emperor Belos with wiping out all the Witches, in return he would be set free. when Belos betrayed him, he talked the only living Titan, the child of the one that sealed him, into setting him free, where he proceeded to attack Belos and then took over the area. After his defeat, he turned over a new leaf and began a new life with new friends and no longer having to pretend to be mean to get people to like him. There is no indication that any further data is forthcoming.

Pariah Dark: Origin, unknown. Former King of the Ghost Zone. He has the appearance of a giant Viking in a suit of armor with green hair but black facial hair. He was sealed away for being a tyrant by powerful entities called "The Ancient Ones" and was later freed by "Vlad Plasmius" and defeated by "Danny Phantom". He commands an army of the dead, can shift his size at will and is a powerful fighter, made stronger by the Crown of Fire and Ring of Rage. He briefly took over the town of "Amity Park" while searching for his stolen Ring of Rage, pulling the town into the Ghost Zone to have complete power over it. He was resealed by "Danny Phantom" and, as far as I know, has never escaped since. I still need to read "A Glitch in Time". There is no indication that any further data is forthcoming.

Sera: Origin unknown. She has the appearance of a woman dressed in white and gray with dark-brown skin and long, curly gray hair and white, feathered wings and a glowing, white halo. Among others, she is said to have created the world and humans. Her own individual power is unknown. She can fly. She leads Heaven with "Emily", another Seraph, as well as others. Insufficient data to proceed. More data will hopefully be forthcoming in Season 2.

Who is the strongest, based on this data… As of this collection of data, Bill Cipher seems to be the strongest. Further studies will have to be done to determine who truly is the strongest.

Forging Ties - Chapter 32 - Part 1

Nim tried to look chill about it when Skye got back but Skye could tell he'd been anxiously waiting the whole time.

Nim had a point, Skye supposed.

Their time apart hadn't been the same for both of them.

It had impacted Skye's life in a major way this whole time but he hadn't really felt it.

He hadn't let himself. It was different.

They were also just very different people who had lived very different lives.

Nim had gone through that whole thing with having his mum taken from him and though they'd ultimately been reunited, Skye doubted that had fully healed the scars.

Skye had been abandoned by his own parents, unwanted and he was sure that had shaped who he was now as well.

It made sense that Nim didn't want the two of them to be apart right now but Skye didn't feel like he really processed relationships in the same way.

He almost felt like he needed a little space between interactions to really appreciate them.

Like if they were together all the time, he didn't get a chance to really experience the thoughts and feelings he had about Nim.

While the others talked, Skye practised steering with Harrison by pulling fist fulls of his fur on one side of the other.

Harrison could go pretty fast on four legs if he wanted to.

Skye was faster but he wasn't nearly as intimidating.

Bears were so cool.

Over time, some of the people who had been sitting around the firepit began to wander off.

Perry, Miriam, Sera and Everett went back to the ship and Duran went down to the beach with his friends.

Another man who had been there went his own way at the same time and then Slone wandered off, until finally the only people still there were Nim, Yore, Hamish, Skye and Harrison.

That was a far more reasonable number of people.

Skye didn't think there should ever be more people in one place than he could count and he couldn't count very high.

Especially not people.

People moved around and didn't often stand in convenient rows where they would be easy to count.

"I like you," Skye told Harrison, patting his furry shoulder.

"Bears are cool and I feel powerful when I ride on your shoulders."

"I like you, too," Harrison said.

"Nobody else wants to be my friend."

"Oh. Why?"

"I don't know. They think I'm stupid, I guess. And too big."

"Well, I couldn't ride you if you weren't big."

"Yeah. Nobody's ever asked to ride me before. I carried Duran and Fanner once when I first met them but that's not really the same I think. It was only because we had a long way to walk and their legs were tired. I don't think they really had fun."

"Some people think I'm stupid as well but I don't think I am. I don't think you're stupid, either. You can talk and that's pretty smart for a bear. Bears usually don't talk."

"That's true. I'm very smart for a bear."

"Do you want to be a courier?" Skye asked.

"We could be couriers together. I bet you can carry lots of stuff."

"What's a courier?"

"Like... a person who delivers things."

"Okay. That sounds fun."

"Yeah, it is. I'm really good at it."

Skye spotted Slone walking back towards them and he had a woman with long, dark hair with him.

Skye flattened himself against Harrison's shoulder to hide.

Was she related to Nim?

Her hair was kind of similar to Nim and Yore's.

"Hi, Dad," the woman said to Nim when she reached them, answering Skye's unvoiced question.

"It's been a while since I last saw you."

Nim looked up at the woman but he didn't bother standing from the log he was seated on next to Hamish.

"Well, you know where I live, Zunda."

"And you know where I live and you have a lot more free time than I do," Zunda shot back.

"Ah, yes, that's exactly how I like to spend my day," Nim said. "Basking in the collective disapproval of an entire pack of wolves. I know I'm not welcome."

"You've always been welcome and if anyone has ever said otherwise, I'll have words with them."

"You don't need to say the words. We haven't had a single conversation since you were five where you didn't try to change me in some way."

"Because I'm worried about you, Dad," Zunda said, her voice raising.

"My whole life you've been waiting to start living yours and you'd been doing it long before I came along. I just want you to be a part of the world we live in. That's all I've ever wanted."

"That's fine when you're five but at some point, I expect you to start listening. I can't just forget about and move on from someone who's connected to me by fate itself."

"At some point, you have to."

"I, uh, didn't tell her why I was bringing her to talk to you," Slone said, scratching the back of his neck. "So, uh. Y'know."

Zunda's eyebrows lifted.

"Is there something I should know?"

Nim stood and made eye contact with Skye before holding a hand out towards Zunda.

"This is my daughter, Zunda."

He turned back to Zunda, and gestured towards Skye.

"Zunda, this is Skye."

saw someone make a comment about how “there’s no proof sam winchester isn’t straight!!” and it made me realize how new this side of spn tumblr is to bi/pan/nonbinary/queer sam. the history of it, the evidence for it, and most importantly...how fun it can be!!

as someone who’s been in the trenches in both the samgirl/desticule side of tumblr over the years I thought it’d be fun to share some LGBT Sam Winchester History (Herstory? Theirstory?) for anyone new to queer sam headcanons (and canon) but still interested!

sam winchester: COULD he be any gayer??

disclaimer: it’s okay if you didn’t know these things before! a lot of destiel shippers got into supernatural for destiel. that’s not and shouldn’t be controversial? joining spn tumblr doesn’t come with a welcome pamphlet and it’s a show with 300+ episodes. people shouldn’t be expected to have analyzed every aspect of it and know every behind-the-scenes fact.  people are STILL discovering new details even in  2021. this is not a “why isn’t anyone talking about this??” post (I hate those posts) but hopefully a "queer sam for newbies.”

the facts

writer and s6-s7 showrunner sera gamble supported a MLM reading of sam as early as s2, revealed in the commentary for the episode “bloodlust”. in the episode, sam has a flirtatious exchange with the bartender eli (coincidentally played by ty olsson, later known for playing benny.) however it’s implied that gamble was shut down as robert singer referred to her queer sam headcanons as nothing more than “sick twisted fantasies”

while this is the only known and confirmed instance of fully intentional queer subtext (similar to dean’s moment with aaron in S8) there have been a few other questionable exchanges with sam and men on cases, i.e. patrick the gambler witch from 5x07 or paul the bartender from 5x17 (both featured in this great gifset). notably, both most instances including these two happen in episodes by gamble.

(sidenote: there’s theories that the main character on sera gamble’s The Magicians is VERY similar to sam and this was sorta her way of having a queer sam-esque character. it is a good show, just know it does NOT end happy for the character in question. the character of quentin doesn’t use any specific labels but is in relationships with men and women in the show all while being a floppy-haired, bookish but powerful nerd just like sam!)

while sam has interacted with both male and female crossroads demon, he has ONLY summoned male ones on his own (check my own breakdown of the history of crossroads demon gender on the show)

sam refers to past/potential love interests with gender neutral pronouns (examples). his actor has also done this in the past when referring to sam's relationships.

he understands terms used in the gay community, i.e. fifth base

some of the fun evidence we use for trans!dean (i.e. the photo ID that says “F” for birth sex) has also happened to sam!

his reaction to seeing a shirtless man in bed

brady is referred to as sam’s demon lover and crowley implies that the two have "history.” I’d compare the popularity of sambrady in the sam fandom to deanlee in the destiel fandom; it’s generally headcanoned that there was indeed a complicated, college relationship there that becomes even more complicated when a demon possesses him. it wouldn’t be the only past love interest of sam’s to be possessed by a demon either.

when dean makes jokes like “could you be anymore gay?” sam actually looks pensive like “huh? COULD I be?” this is very much how I would respond to this kind of joke if my roommates made it and we are LITERALLY all queer

he owned a purple dog shirt...is that straight behavior to you.

he’s a canonical theater kid who took an art history course (for “picking up girls” which sounds a lot like an excuse he’d give to not reveal he did it for gay reasons) AND was attached to his high school English teacher, like pick a struggle

he had an imaginary friend as a kid (sully my beloved) with some light queercoding of his own i.e. rainbow suspenders. sully encouraged him to love himself and to not listen to/be like his family

dean has literally microaggressed sam 10x more than sam has microaggressed dean. I would literally go sleep with a guy just to spite him after the 60th comment.

in general, sam’s story is just...queercoded af. “son is treated as wrong and a freak by his father until he leave home at the age of eighteen?” that’s queer baby!! and I get it, I too moved to college in a state I knew my family would never visit as soon as I could!! alexa play The Village by Wrabel.

and lastly but most important (and I say this as a bi!dean truther because helloooo look at my blog)...at no point has sam ever said he is straight. dean has said they are (“we don’t swing that way” in response to victor henrickson) but sam never said anything regarding his sexuality.

are you into the idea of queer sam but don’t know where to start? here are some of my favorite arguments for the different readings along with some personal interpretations and headcanons!

why I think bi/pan/queer/labelless sam is sexy:

saileen, samruby and samjess all feel like bi4bi couples let’s be real here

demon lover brady could’ve actually been his demon lover! the trauma of your college boyfriend / probably first gay experience being a monster used against you??? lifelong disorders! it also wouldn’t be the first time a demon possessed a former sam love interest.

sam’s not hung-up on any of the things dean is hung-up on. labels or orientations, he’s always been open to all of it. just like how sam can listen to a celine dion album or drink “vegetable water” without thinking twice about it. to me, it’s all about how sam has always been comfortable with his sexuality and it not being a big deal for him, and dean just...hasn’t lol.

sexualty is a spectrum! sam can still prefer women and in fact has excellent taste in them (have you seen his girlfriends? have you? this may be the samcoding talking...)

while the majority of queer sam fans ship with him with castiel (and who can blame them, it’s CAS) there’s other cute boyfriends out there for him too:

- max banes, the cool and canonically queer witch from s12. in their first scene together, he defends sam from a stranger asking about his trauma! a man that respects sam’s boundaries? sexy af. also witch!sam and max banes?? sexy af. in general there was so much more the show could’ve and should’ve done with the banes twins, and exploring that through sam’s pov would’ve been fascinating because you know he would try to help max & alicia and understand why he did what he did!

- mick davies, aka sam’s “nerd soulmate” as dean refers to him. sam and mick get each other and bond over their love of learning and making the world of hunting a better place! mick even turns against the BMOL to side with them (but unfortunately dies before that can be realized.) oh, society if mick was resurrected instead of ketch and got to be nerdy bfs with sam...

- one episode-icons patrick the witch (what’s it with sam and witches amiright), paul (my personal beloved) and brady the demon and/or human (a given)

- crowley! while its peak popularity was probably pre-samwena and the drowley summer of love, the samcrowley fandom (formerly known as "moosely" now usually referred to as "cram") is STILL alive and kickin’. they even have cram mondays now!

- and can’t forget ol’ gabriel the archangel. sabriel is a classic “opposites attract” pairing that’s existed ever since sam puppy-dog eyed his way out of a timeloop and you know what? for good reason. two words: height differences.

sam being an ally isn’t nearly as fun to me as sam being out for years and just waiting for his idiot brother to catch up so he can get the stick out of his ass so he can then list of a list of microaggressions dean has made over the years. I think he deserves it.

why I think gay sam is sexy

this post is basically the gay sam manifesto so I’m stealing from there but

basically there are multiple instances where a girl comes onto sam and he very harshly rejects them (i.e. the iconic “I’m lactose intolerant”) and I think it’s funny okay. I love you gay sammy.

why I think nonbinary/he & they sam is sexy:

again, the whole “not hung up on labels” thing. sam using gender neutral pronouns for his past relationships means it makes total sense for them to also refer to themselves with gender neutral pronouns.

a lot of sam’s journey on the show is about their body autonomy and lack thereof (and whatever mother mother was singing about in “body” and ajj in “body terror song”) to me, trans/nonbinary sam is just him reclaiming their body and making it their own again. a chance to heal and be confident in their identity and sense of self.

sam/sammy is literally the perfect nonbinary name!! they struck the gender neutral name LOTTERY I’m so goddamn jealous

long hair, don’t care! nonbinary people have the freedom to mix & match whatever gender expressions they want because they owe no one androgyny.  I love the idea that sam’s always been into having more traditionally feminine hair that’s it’s become part of their identity, and one of the most iconic aspects of their character, while dressing and presenting traditionally masculine otherwise.

sam’s actor has vocally supported it he/they sam headcanons! am I a fan of his? of course not! does it still matter just as much as jensen saying dean’s side of the confession is open to all interpretation? yes! actors do not make and cannot make anything canon, but being supportive of it IS still nice and encouraging! can you imagine if misha hadn’t been so open to queer readings of cas? can you imagine if his support was taken away from you? it’d suck!

yo I hate that guy and you should too. luckily these characters are fictional and you don’t need to like the actor to enjoy a character. in fact, actors shouldn’t exist at all anymore I think. I like headcanoning his character as queer/trans just to spite him even. while his actor may have kept him from being the queer icon he deserved to be, the writing (and most importantly the writer’s support) was there.

well, yeah? while there is canon evidence for some of these especially the bi!sam truthing, sometimes headcanons are just fanon...and that’s okay! the canon version of the show ended with dean a dead “heterosexual” alcoholic and sam married to some random woman we know nothing about it. what’s wrong with imagining a better more satisfying ending and story for these characters? also, if you think the differences between fanon sam and canon sam are bad you should see the differences between fanon dean and canon dean.

final argument: what queer!sam adds to destiel because they can (and should!) coexist!

at the end of the day, the show never even let dean be openly bisexual so what better form of rebellion is there than headcanoning no spn character as cishet? you can’t give us one good gay movie kiss and now ALL your characters are gay & trans, bob singer <3

most importantly: sam, dean, and adam all being lgbt??? john winchester’s worst nightmare baby!

at the end of the day, they are literally all fictional and this is a sandbox in which we can do whatever we want! no one wins by keeping someone from headcanoning a character as any form of LGBTQIA, but we do have fun to gain!

i wanna agree with u, but this ask is incredibly biased with the sole purpose of attacking the mc. i already talked abt some of the other things she did in my previous posts (and did not excuse her actions), but don’t make it sound like she was aware that gojo was suicidal. and she has all the right to separate herself from him and find her own independence away from the toxicity that he and the rest of his family brings. she just didn’t execute it in the best way.

and also the public criticism that gojo and sera dealt with wasn’t yn’s fault. that’s their comeuppance for having an extramarital relationship. feel like u forgot that yn even hid the fact that gojo cheated on her so many times for his sake.

look, i’m not siding with yn nor anyone else. i try to reason with my characters equally (like i did w gojo) bc they’re all victims in their own ways. but sometimes it irks me when other characters’ traumas get invalidated like it’s some sort of competition to say who suffered more and who deserves more sympathy.
