Phrases that most people have a hard time understanding in my experience:
“I don’t date”
“I can’t drink”
“I’m not into careers”
“I don’t have a deadname”
“All colubrids need climbing space”

So I still haven't looked into my bowel/stomach issues, but I DID find out today that I might have a slight alcohol intolerance? My face gets redder than most of my friends' faces do, and it happens long before I feel any other effects -- the redness is immediate, whereas the tipsy feeling takes 10-30 minutes, usually. And it isn't just red -- it's VERY red, and it BURNS like I have my face against a stove. It DOES feel like a mild allergic reaction (it's almost always a burning sensation [EXACTLY the same feeling as my latex and men's soap allergy], and sometimes itches a little as well). And alcohol often makes me nauseous and always gives me BAD diarrhea, even if I only have a little bit. I always assumed most of these things were just another part of my digestive issues with acidic things (tomato juice and other acidic stuff also makes me nauseous in large quantities), but today my mom and her friend expressed concern at how red my face was after having a few small sips of a half-strength drink (knowing that my body processes alcohol pretty quickly, and I hadn't had nearly enough to be drunk). The redness is REALLY blotchy and looks rashy, especially when I drink tequila, gin, or whiskey, and it's worse when the alcohol is more concentrated and when I'm dehydrated. And maybe it IS rashiness. Maybe it isn't just a little more intense of a flush like I always assumed. It DOES look and feel a lot more intense than "normal." (Also, drinking often gives me a runny nose, but I never really thought about it, lmao)

We should give Steve sepsis more often. Saves Eddie. Hospital busy. Used to walking off injuries. Hasn’t stopped to peel off the bandages because it hurts and touching it will hurt more. Nothing malign. He’s not kept from a doctor. It’s just a crazy day or two, and he’s stuck in guardian mode. He’s a little hazy and his entire body hurts and he’s sweating and breathing too fast, but hey, panic attacks do that, and he’s earned a bit of a freak out after all of this.
So it’s not until relief nurses arrive from nearby, and one of them actually turns to look at the kid guarding the wanted murderer that they see it.

i learned in an autism video about masking that there are people who don’t get exhausted by social interactions or don’t care about knowing beforehand who’s gonna be there or where it’s gonna be or how long it’s gonna take. but honestly i’m more weirded out that there are people who can just. Socialize or go somewhere to socialize without needing to preplan it all. i feel the same way about people who go to concerts or the grocery store or parties without fear and pre planning. FASCINATING. turns out all my best friends growing up were autistic and we never knew
