Albedo A-Z Fluff Alphabet

!!! : gn reader. might be present grammar mistakes. i apologise, since english is not my first language.

I just love this man too much, I have to create my own headcanons because consuming his media online is not enough-

A = Attractive (What do they find attractive about their partner? Physically and Mentally)

I think that Albedo is not a person who pays much attention to physical appearance, for him it would be something that would be secondary and would only get added value if he was already taken with someone, as we've already seen in the game (in fact, he tells us more than once that he likes intelligent people). Albedo values mentality, so he'd be particularly attracted to someone who's open-minded, smart, even better if they can play along with his mindset, and whom he can have complex and profound conversations with, someone who can offer him new points of view, inspire and stimulate him, not only in his work, but also in his daily life. Intelligence is what really attracts him, physical appearance comes after. For him beauty is all a matter of attitude.

B = Baby (Do they want a family? Why/Why not?)

I don't think Albedo ever thought about starting his own family before he had a romantic partner, he's just too busy with his job that he wouldn't have the time to dedicate to it properly. and Albedo already has Klee, who's like a little sister to him, therefore a family to dedicate his attention and care to since she's a young child. however, after finding a partner, i don't deny that the thought of starting something of his own with them would cross his mind at least once, but it would just be a sterile thought, imagining a concept that is impossible. Because of his non-human nature, Albedo is unable to procreate. He is aware that it's not his fault, because he knows that it wasn't him who decided how to give birth, but sometimes he can't help but feel a little guilty, especially in the case his s/o particularly wanted to have a child. if his partner doesn't want children, so much the better (after all, he'd be the first to know that there's no traditional way to have a family... if we look closely at his family tree, lol). He just wishes to have the person he loves by his side to be happy, and Klee, of course. After all, being a family means being good together and being able to rely on each other without anyone being left behind, regardless of blood ties, right?

C = Cuddle (How do they like to cuddle?)

for him, cuddling with his s/o would be a way to regenerate and relax after a long, stressful day. it'd be a sweet moment, a little blurred by sleep and tiredness, but very deep and intimate. some evenings he might seem more sensual than others (and so getting carried even further than that). albedo likes to rest his head on his partner's shoulder or chest, as if seeking comfort or protection from them. he would give gentle kisses wherever his lips could land, play with his partner's hair, lose himself in the scent of their skin and clothes, often collapsing in their arms (he looks so adorable istg).

D = Dreams (How do they picture their future with their S/O?)

whatever his partner desires, so does him. First and foremost, Albedo wants to make the other person happy, to be able to live carefree and at peace by their side, to discover new things together, to explore the world together, to experience new adventures by each other's side.

E = Everything (You are my ____ (e.g. my life, my world…))

For Albedo, his partner would be his muse, his source of inspiration, his safe haven, his home, his certainty, what makes reality more beautiful to face.

F = Feelings (When did they know they're in love?)

Albedo noticed almost immediately that he felt different in the presence of this particular person. how shall i put it? he didn't feel the same as usual. he wouldn't even know how to properly explain the strange sensations running through his body, from butterflies in his stomach to his pounding heart. there is something - some kind of force majeure - that draws him to them. he feels the need to be in their company even when they are not present, as they take up most of his time and often distract him from his work. this seemed strange to him already, but other people from the outside also started pointing out that lately, the chief alchemist seemed head over heels in love. when kaeya started teasing him about whether he had fallen in love or not... it was like an epiphany for albedo, like he had discovered something he might have known all along. not only that, but Klee herself asked him if he had feelings for (name), leaving him completely stunned and unable to deny it any longer. at this point, albedo could no longer lie to himself, having searched within himself for as many answers as possible. what seemed impossible to him was actually the irrefutable truth. Love. it had always been there, maybe he really had always known it, but he didn't know if it was right to admit it to himself first, despite his incessant curiosity to explore this new and nameless feeling that did so much good to his heart.

G = Gratitude (How grateful are they in general? Are they aware of what their S/O does for them?)

of course Albedo is a very grateful person. both to life for putting this person trough his path, and for all the things they do for him; from taking care of him, to listening to him when he ramble on for hours about incomprehensible subjects, to understanding and accepting him for who he is. albedo didn't even believe it was possible that such a person could exist in this world and still love him. of course, he tries his best to show that gratitude because he knows it wouldn't be fair otherwise.

H = Honesty (Do they have secrets they hide from their S/O?)

Albedo is a person full of secrets and we know that very well. however, when he starts to trust someone, he tends to open up more. of course, it is not easy to gain his trust. Albedo is a very selective and in order to open up completely to someone, he has to feel that this person is different from the others. obviously in a relationship he'd feel that it would be only right to let the other person know basic things about himself, because a relationship must be built on mutual trust and honesty, it wouldn't be fair to hide anything from his partner. then slowly (probably already in the friendship stages) albedo would start to open up and reveal more aspects of himself, probably even the darker ones, but only when he's sure that he won't be rejected and that he can trust his other half completely.

I = Injury (How would they react if you got hurt?)

outwardly, albedo would appear calm, placid and logical as usual, but actually, he would be trying to maintain a rational composure in order to react in the best possible way and help his beloved. in reality, inside albedo would be panicking, frozen with the total terror of losing the love of his life. thoughts of all kinds would be running through his mind. luckily, Albedo is good at regulating his emotions and would try to channel them into action in order to defend his beloved from danger and then to help them with love and whatever else they may need. although he would seem to be handling the situation in the best possible way, you would still notice the anxiety through his worried look and the trembling in his voice and hands, at least until he would be completely sure that the danger is gone.

J = Jealousy (Do they get jealous? How do they deal with it)

albedo is not a person who is prone to jealousy, but if he was, he wouldn't let it show. for example, if his partner were particularly affectionate with someone, i couldn't deny that he'd sometimes feel a gnawing feeling in his stomach. he wouldn't be able to explain it at first, but the thought of being abandoned, or of his favourite person choosing someone else over him, would embitter him. of course, Albedo would still try to maintain his typical rationality, but sometimes you can tell from some of his cold looks and answers that he is actually jealous. however, he would do his best to keep it to himself, and only if the situation became unbearable he'd talk about it. this is because he'd not want to worry his beloved, he has great faith in them and their love.

K = Kiss (How do they kiss you? How do they like to be kissed?)

Albedo's kisses can have different shades: sometimes they are sweet, full of love, the kind that seems pure and can only be found in fairy tales, the ones that express affection and last only a few moments, but still leave you with a sweet warm sensation in your heart. other times (very often, especially when you are alone) they are the slightly sensual kisses that make you feel wanted, that express hunger, love, a slight possessiveness. albedo loves to be kissed on the lips, especially when these kisses make him feel wanted, even if it's just a simple greeting. other kisses he loves to give and receive are those on the neck. if you kiss that diamond mark on his neck? he will be yours forever.

L = Love (Who says ‘I love you’ first?)

i think that would depend very much on what kind of person Albedo would find as a partner. before saying something like that, Albedo would want to have some confidence. not that this phrase has no value to him, on the contrary, but he would want to be sure that this phrase is clear and unequivocal. in any case, i think Albedo could very likely be the first to confess.

M = Memory (What’s their favorite memory together?)

for albedo, there would be many beautiful moments to remember, many firsts, many new beginnings; their first meeting, the first time his partner bonded with klee, their first fight during an adventure, their first kiss. for albedo, they would all be things to treasure in his heart, all moments of shared happiness that he would never forget.

N = Nickel (Do they spoil? Do they buy the person they love everything?)

albedo is not a stingy person, but at the same time he is not materialistic. ergo, for him, gifts would not be just material things, like expensive, worthless things bought in some fancy shop just because they are "trendy". of course, he would have no problem giving his s/o gifts, buying them something he saw them looking at so longingly. but for him, the gifts of real value are the moments they spend together, the things he can make with his own hands, because he is an alchemist and an artist. so what he is able to create can not be compared to anything that can be bought with money. if his loved one wants a new dress, Albedo would be able to design and craft it for them. he would draw them a lot and dedicate many of his inventions to them. in this respect, he would certainly shower them with gifts. gifts whose value can not even be determined, so deep is the love that goes into them.

O = On Cloud Nine (What are they like when they're in love? Is it obvious for others? How do they express their feelings?)

i think it is quite obvious when Albedo is in love. first of all, he seems more distracted than usual (this particular person takes up a lot more space in his mind) and for Sucrose and Timeous it would be obvious that something with their master is off, especially because in the presence of this person he'd become much more attentive, he'd talk and smile a lot more. it would be a fact that would not go unnoticed by others. a person who is normally as composed and deeply devoted to his work as albedo suddenly seems to be shaken by something new. then it is really true that love makes people blind! Lisa would like to discuss this matter with Jean and point out to her that, contrary to the grand master's expectations, the boy is not actually ill, but just in love. for Albedo, on the other hand, everything would seem normal, but in reality the people closest to him would be very aware of the novelty - hell, even Klee managed to notice that there was something unusual about her brother! especially because when that person is in the albedo zone, he will look for any excuse to be in their presence, to talk to them, to discuss alchemy with them, to show them his latest drawings or his newest experiments. these are subtle things, but to a loner like albedo, they mean a lot. it means that he feels comfortable in the presence of that person.

P = Pet names (What pet names do they use?)

i imagine albedo would use things like "love", "darling" and "honey" a lot. The more corny ones like "sweetheart", "my Cecilia", "my queen/princess or prince/king" would be saved for rarer, special, particularly emotional occasions.

Q = Questions (What are the questions they’re always asking?)

albedo is a person who asks a lot of questions. sometimes he just wants to know his s/o's opinion about something, sometimes he asks deep questions, but most of all he asks a lot of strange things. things that frighten you and make you wonder how the hell they got into his head. after all, what do you expect to find in the head of a genius?

R = Rainy Day (What do they like to do on a rainy day?)

usually, when albedo has to work, not even the rain can stop him. however, if he could, he would much rather to stay at home to avoid colds (at least for his partner, considering that he rarely gets sick). it would be an excuse to be together, cuddle under the blankets and watch the rain, and only when the storm has passed they can go out and explore the fruits of the earth's rebirth.

S = Sad (How do they cheer themselves/S/O up?

albedo, contrary to what many people expect, is good at understanding human emotions, even if he is still learning how to manage them. he doesn't usually feel sad very often, unless he is reminded of his master. but he is good at chasing away his sadness by distracting himself with other things, like work and the people who love him. then again, having managed a child for so long, he knows the secrets of cheering people up all the more....although maybe it works differently for adults. in any case, he would have his own strange little ways of offering support to his beloved, offering them ways to talk and let off steam, and then doing all their favourite activities together. albedo would be close to them, affectionate, and he'd even cook them something good to cheer them up. albedo is actually a very caring and supportive boyfriend.

T = Talking (What do they like to talk about?)

Albedo loves to talk about his experiments, he'd go on for hours about them, and the fact that his partner would be willing to listen to him would only make him fall even more in love. he loves talking a lot about klee too. albedo is the kind of person who is open to everything, with him you could talk about deep, somewhat philosophical things, exploring the meaning of life, of the universe, gradually moving into strange, indefinable, absurd and sometimes even abstract things. he'd be willing to talk about scientific things, sometimes diving into detailed and nerdy explanations about the mechanics of the world. then I like to think there would also be that good dose of gossip because it never hurts. what did kaeya do today to upset albedo, for example? but let's face it, he'd love to talk to his s/o about anything.

U = Understanding (How well do they know their partner? Are they empathetic?)

i repeat, albedo is actually a very empathetic and emotionally intelligent person, otherwise he wouldn't be able to deal with children so well. i have no idea why the genshin fandom sees him as an emotionless robot. of course he would get to know his partner inside out and take note of their every trait and mannerism, he'd try to understand them deeply in order to understand and help them. he's the kind of guy who doesn't make you feel lonely, who will stand by you and help you, but who will also give you practical advice on how to deal with a problem and offer his help where it's needed.

V = Value (How important is the relationship to them? What is it worth in comparison to other things in their life?)

albedo tends to give the right amount of space to everything in his life: work, family, but also his relationship. especially after finding the love of his life he would try to learn to be more balanced with work as well, to give the right amount of space to the people he loves. each of these things has an important place in his life, but he could not deny that his family and his relationship are probably the two most important values to him.

W = Wedding (When, where, and how do they propose?)

to be honest, albedo would think about it for a while, he would not find marriage absolutely necessary at first, he would be happy just to live together without giving in to social pressure. but once he is convinced, he would certainly make a very deep and emotional proposal. It would happen during a moment of vulnerability, of loneliness between him and his beloved, while they are out walking or having a good time together. he'd have to feel that it is the right moment, that it's the time. i won't even hide the fact that he would feel a little nervous before getting down on one knee. wait, does everything have to be done in the traditional way? at the fateful moment, he would whisper those words, almost as if they were powerful magic. the moment would be intimate and magical in its simplicity. he probably wouldn't propose right away, he would rather wait a few years after starting the relationship, but when he will be sure, he wouldn't back down. the ceremony probably wouldn't even be that big and ostentatious. if anything, something nice and simple where only the closest people could attend, but still romantic and beautiful. a memorable day for everyone. even the chief alchemist got married, crazy, right?

X = XOXO (How affectionate are they? In public/in private)

albedo would find it difficult to let go at first, as everything in a relationship is new to him. How exactly is he supposed to behave? but once he is comfortable, he would certainly become very affectionate. certainly very touch starved, as he has never received enough affection and care in his life. this is especially true in private. outdoor, he'd be more reserved and his displays of affection would be more subtle unless his partner isn't bold enough to be affectionate in public. This would probably make albedo a little uncomfortable at a first (it would also depend on how and how much his s/o is affectionate), but over time he would begin to appreciate and reciprocate, albeit very slowly. you will need to be patient with him.

Y = Yearning (How well do they cope when they're separated from their S/O?)

mainly by keeping busy with work, which helps him distract himself just enough. but in the moments when even that is not enough he dedicates himself to painting his beloved, at least to remember their face and recall the memories they shared by imprinting them on canvas.

Z = Zeal (Are they willing to go to great lengths for the relationship?)

albedo is a very busy man, so it would depend on the reason behind this distance. but of course he would be willing to do anything for reasons of force majeure. he'd do everything in his power to ensure that this relationship will last.

➷ You explained Albedo the rules as best as you could, ignoring the freezing wind nipping at your skin.

➷ Albedo didn't mind games, he played with Klee all the time. And when you said; 'The loser is delcared when they break the stick, or gets kissed by the opponent' Hah, giving you a small reward doesn't sound so bad~

➷ So, you placed the stick in between your teeth, pointing at the other hand excitedly for your boyfriend who wasted no time and joined you

➷ You were struggling, specifically because of the weather. No matter how close you were to the torch, you could be standing on it and still freeze to death. And since you were shivering a lot, that made the treat move around, the fragile stick nearly breaking.

➷ Still, you were determined to NOT lose. So you sucked it up and slowly chipped your way to his lips, not realizing you were close to kissing him.

➷ Noticing how cold you are (and how you're about to win), he pulled you into his arms while taking a large chunk of the stick, a sly smirk evident on his face when you began to panic over the close proximity between you and him.

➷ You lost when you absentmindedly took a much bigger bite than just chipping a tiny bit, your nose grazing against his. And at that touch, you instinctively broke the stick by biting down on it and turning away to hide your blushing face.

➷But Albedo's not gonna have that so he just pulled you in and simply kissed you on the lips, affectionately holding your warm cheek.

➷ "It seems we have a winner. But I am unable to taste the treat flavouring's... would you mind if I steal another taste from your lips?"

➷ Dawwww idk if you being excited was cuter or him accepting immediately is more cute.

➷He wouldn't really try to win, his bad luck can just automatically make him lose anyway. But since you'd probably get upset if he didn't try, it wouldn't hurt to look like he's trying to win.

➷ So there you guys sat under the large tree of Windrise, a stick in your mouths and chipping away at the treat, slowly inching your way to his mouth.

➷ But then you'd chicken out. About 6 rounds in.

➷ Bennett thinks it might be his bad luck doing this, because you kept breaking the stick instead of kissing him (which he at least wanted since he wouldn't win anyway), and this was the last pockey stick you had.

➷ Well, good things come to those who don't wait around. Too bad that doesn't work for him.

➷ So right before you could even break the stick, it was his turn. What he did was this; Take a huge bite foward and headbutt you instead of actually connecting lips with you.

➷ You fell backwards, into the water as you were both playing close to Windrise's river. Bennett obviously panics and attempts to rescue you despite the river's being shallow. You got slapped in the face by 5 fish tails but you were eventually 'rescued'.

➷ This was pretty normal honestly, but you weren't mad... The reason your face is red was because you failed to kiss him again because he headbutted you.

➷ "I-I'm sorry about my luck, [Name]. We shouldn't have played so closely to the river of all places, that's my fault for being so careless... Huh? Why did I hit you? It wasn't on purpose!... U-Uhm... Ahaha, I guess you could say my plan kind of backfired?"

Diluc

➷ Obviously, he'd think this game is pretty childish. I mean... it's just kissing with extra steps.

➷ He was writing a letter in his mansion when the maids suddenly arrived with you in tow, excitedly asking him to play a game with you. He'd turn you down first, stating he's busy (it's just a letter Diluc smh). You still managed to convince him, saying 1 round only takes less than 30 seconds if both players aren't a bunch of cowards.

➷ He also cursed himself for choosing such a cute S/O.

➷ So, he decides to play just 1 round. He stands up and leans over the table while you happily planted the stick between your mouths.

➷ He's quite fond of spending time with you, it's hard to make time for you when he's pretty busy, working nearly 24/7. So, just an excuse to be with you juuuust a little longer, he took smaller bites.

➷ Normally, he's not a coward, obviously. But when your lips inched towards him ever so slowly, that bravery and confidence of his diminished into nothing. His face flared up, eyes looking everywhere but you, his small bites turning into lil' nibbles.

➷ You noticed, of course. The corner of your lips tugging into a smirk at how shy he looked, you wanna milk this situation a little more hehe~ You decided to nibble instead of biting now, he was much aware of you, and very much embarrassed.

➷ This one game was torturously slow, to know that your lips were so close, yet, so far away. He just wanted to bang his head on the table, he's kissed you several times, why does this game meant to kiss you be so... embarrassing?

➷ Eventually though, curiosity got the better of you, you bite the stick and moved foward, head tilted a little. And now, your noses were touching, lips barely close enough to graze eachother.

➷ At that point, he realized he was just craving for your lips. But in the heat of the moment, he breaks the stick off, much to your disappointment.

➷ He stutters as he tells you the game is over, you wanted one more game but Diluc just says maybe later. So, you sighed and prepared to leave. Noticing how sad you were, he decides; "Fuck it" and stood up from his chair, the chair legs scraping against dhe floor loud enough to make you flinch.

➷ To fulfill his desire, he held your cheeks and planted a rushed but passionate kiss on your lips, you nearly withdrew from the suddenness— but then you melted into it.

➷ "...A-Ahem, there. You may leave now, I still have matters to attend to... What's with that expression? I only promised one game. If you want more, you can return here at night."

Kaeya ⚠️

➷ Lol as if he'd turn a game like that down, especially when he sees how excited you are

➷ Half competitive, half teasing. He'd try to fluster you and win, with an additional bonus of getting you shy and riled up.

➷ Damn he's good.

➷ And right when you're about to finish the whole box of Pocky, you had enough if his endless flirts and dirty jokes regarding your mouth on a stick. So what did you do?

➷ Instead of breaking away like usual, you decided to grow some balls and grab his shirt, pulling him foward to lock lips with yours. Victory was now yours, and your prize?

➷ A very long and steamy make out session between the two of you in his office. The puzzled guards outside could only hear shuffling, as he quickly pins you against the wall, a thin string of saliva connecting the tip of your tongue to his.

➷ All that riling up was worth it. Now, you're caged between his arms and the wall against your back, you've fallen to his unplanned trap. But you didn't mind spending a few extra... hours in here. Curtains closed and doors locked, of course.

➷ "What's wrong? Can't handle a simple little kiss? My, my, you've grown rather rusty in this, haven't you... Is it because I haven't been around lately? Aww, sorry love, i've just been doing a lot of unnecessary paperwork. Here, let me make it up to you; First, i'll remove that pesky clothing of yours, yeah?"

➷ Dammit, Qiqi, leave the love birds alone!

➷ You both let the child stay, the pharmacy was pretty empty at the moment since it was getting late. Perfect time to persuade him into a game of Pocky.

➷ He'd never let his beloved S/O down, so, as you'd expected; he agreed. But even for a little game he'd stall out time a bit more, asking you for a bit of help before finally playing a round with you. He likes making things... unforgettable. In a romantic way.

➷ So, picture this; You and Baizhu sitting on the steps of Bubu Pharmacy, the dark blue sky with a sea of shining stars, the gorgeous sight of Liyue Harbor nearby illuminated with golden lights.

➷ Qiqi sitting on your lap or beside you, drinking coconut milk and watching people stroll around Liyue Harbor while Changsheng rested peacefully around your lover's neck.

➷ You took a moment to just absorb the tranquil atmosphere, you forgot just how beautiful Liyue can be at night.

➷ As soon as you faced Baizhu, he already had the stick in between his lips, waiting for you with that charming smile of his. No tricks or jokes were played, just the two of you slowly inching towards eachother.

➷ Despite it being your turn, the two of you leaned foward together, sharing a loving kiss.

➷ "I thank you for stopping by... Seeing you truly makes my day, it makes any mortal's life worth living. I know our love will last just as long as immortality could."

Childe ⚠️ (I wrote this before deciding to put the Fatui, so just pretend like Childe is still in Liyue or smth lol)

➷ He thought those were chopsticks and when you took a bite he immediately tried to do the heimlich manoeuvre lol

➷ You explained to him that these were a new treat as well as the game's rules before you offered him one. He absolutely loved it and asked for another one— to which, you placed one in between your mouth and said "Come and get it" tauntingly.

➷ You challenged him, he's not gonna back down. His confused expression turned to a determined one, he was gonna win one way or another. You, on the other hand, got your competitive spirits turned up because of him.

➷ Unexpectedly, neither of you flinched at the touch of your lips, only declaring the other as the winner and quickly asking for one more round. None of you are gonna be the winner until the last bite. When it came to the last stick, both of you were just nibbling away an inch, until an imaginary light bulb went off above your head.

➷ Just to play and tease him a lil' bit, you lifted one pocky stick up and waved it in front of him. His eyes shined, ears twitching and tail swaying, asking you for it.

➷ You giggled and planted one end in his mouth before you took the other end. If the treat wasn't satisfying enough for Gorou, then receiving a lovely kiss from you just enhanced it drastically.

Now mostly since sayu is asleep you would carry her from left to right just so she can peacefully sleep

for her birthday you always buy her the most SOFTEST, FLUFFIEST, SILKYIEST , COMFYIEST pillow ever

Unlike diona's one with the giving affection and etc, you give sayu items she might need and wants instead‼️ but ofc you still give u siblingly affections from time to time!

you and diona mostly see eachother because you had to do your work to provide money for both of you and to give her gifts

and since because sayu is mostly busy at the shrine as well😭...

But if you have any free time or its your day off at your work and so is sayu

sayu would make to sure to get enough sleep and to stay up so you guys can hangout more without her sleeping again

but ofc that doesnt work well, abit of walks there and abit of goofing around she would start to feel sleepy again

After like a few day you were getting worried over your little bro

some days you would feel so guilty on letting him go alone and not coming with him

You immediately wrote him a letter back and asking him how he was and how he was doing and more questions

Sometimes he would even send you some inazuma items and you would send him some Mondstadt items! Whether it be clothes, figurines, foods, ingredients you can only find at Mondstadt or Inazuma<3

You both would send letter everyday and some would get delayed due to works or the delievery man/hj

once the inazuma problems got solved you quickly went to inazuma to visit you lil bro isnt that sweet

once you got there, the first thing you did was ask people if they ever know anyone named "thoma" and ofc someone lead you to thoma

Once you saw thoma with 2 other light blue haired people

you didnt even think you quickly went out and hug him

Thoma was like so shock with that suprise pikachu face when he saw you he was wondering who you were then he realized that it was you! His older sibling

hes the type of man who would probalby sob of happiness silently bc of a very long reunion

Ayato even gave thoma a 1 week vacation so you two would hangout because he would also feel how both siblings who clearly misses eachother for like forever would feel

You and thoma would goof around while he tours you around inazuma

Once you got to mondstadt you already gotten a letter from thoma if you gotten home safetly

REALLY?! U WANNA KNOW SUBJECT 2 HCS FROM LIL OLD ME?! HEHEHE I THOUGHT YOUD NEVER ASK!!!

I like to think his name is Dorian :3 leakers were digging in the files a while back and found out that the texture for his model is called “Dorian” so that’s where it came from. Dorian is Greek for “gift”, but also comes from the name Doerain, which means “wanderer” or “exile” which I think is sad but fitting LMAO. (Dorian is also in reference to Oscar Wilde’s novel, The Picture of Dorian Gray. If ur interested u should look into it, bc I’d butcher the summary lol)

I like to think that bros a more feral version of Albedo. Albedo is domesticated, Dorian is not HFHDH. He’s much easier to anger, but he wouldn’t put up a fight unless provoked or attacked first.

The reason…he was never trained in any kind of sword fighting style. He can swing a sword around but there’s a 1/99 chance that it would actually hurt someone.

I gave him a Cryo vision bc I mean. Just look at him. That pathetic little mess of a guy is the archetype for Cryo. I like to think he’s a catalyst user (and his best weapon is “Frostbearer” and he relies on it more than his sword hehe. Playstyle wise I’d make him scale off of ATK to contrast Albedo’s DEF scaling)

For his relationships, he prefers Klee’s more upbeat and bouncy nature. She doesn’t seem to mind that he’s not Albedo, and treats him like a brother regardless. He’d take her fishblasting any day <3

Albedo…he’s wary around. Even if they were to make up and all that, his vibe around would probably be very much the feeling you get when you go over to a friend’s house and you feel like you have to impress their parents in order to be allowed in. Does that make sense?? Basically he’s walking on eggshells even if Albedo tells him he’s fine LMAO

While he’s made his appearance a bit different from Albedo (red/maroon/black color scheme, hair either down on his shoulders or in a low and messy braid, and a little thinner than Albedo due to Albedo having built up muscle from sword-wielding), sometimes he switches back to Albedo’s form to mess with people. Specifically the Traveler. He’s a little prankster!!

Even tho he’s used to the cold, he loves warmth. U light up a fire and Dorian will sit so close his hair will singe at the edges. He also loves spicy food <3 (when he lived in Dragonspine he ate like. Unseasoned roasted meat and snow. So he craves any kind of flavor now)

I hc him as aro-ace, and also nonbinary for some fics I write :D I mostly do that just to differentiate between Albedo and him (I write him without a name sometimes so using the “he/him” pronouns twice over without stating who’s speaking is very complicated so I use “they/them” for ease of reading) but also bc I feel like. After 500 years of sleeping in poison dragon tummy soup, one would sort of dissociate from the whole gender thing.

Hehehehehe there u go there’s some hcs 👉👈 I love my little guy he’s so sad and I LOOOOOVE the angst potential with him. Lmk what u think :D

unironically listens to k/da as well, knows all the choreography but will literally never admit to it.

i think shed be a nurse main, but one of those that are insanely good at playing nurse. she wins the game in no time because her teleports are perfect.

i can only imagine how many people have rage quit because of her.

along with dead by daylight, i see her just overall being a horror game player. lots of five nights at freddys, resident evil, etc.

shes never gotten scared on camera before, chat has tried but shes always one step ahead.

Every Letter from the Hidden Strife Event

Below the cut are all the letters from the Hidden Strife event, in chronological (or close to) order. The full written text for each letter is included. Will contain some spoilers for the Genshin Impact comic but they are there only for context

Note: Due to writing out to letters, this post is very long! Warning for when you open the rest of the post.

The first letters follow Crepus' death - for those who have not read the comic, on the day of Diluc's 18th birthday, (or the subsequent day) while traveling with his father, Diluc and Crepus were attacked by Ursa the Drake. Crepus used his delusion to kill Ursa in order to protect Diluc, but the delusion backfired and killed Crepus as well. Eroch, the then investigator for the Knights of Favonius, ordered that the incident be covered up. That was when Diluc left the Knights. (Eroch also claimed credit for killing the Drake around this time) That same night Kaeya revealed his origins to Diluc which involved Diluc reacting violently and Kaeya getting hurt, recieving his vision in the process. The first letter is shortly after that, and is from Kaeya, and Diluc, still displeased, does not reply.

A Letter With Beautiful Handwriting (I) To D: A Storm is brewing within the Knights of Favonius. Varka's inner circle is preparing to investigate Eroch and his henchmen, and it's looking increasingly likely that Eroch is about to get unseated from that high horse of his. You might not be too pleased to see this letter of mine, but I mean to get this news to you as soon as possible. You don't have to reply.

The next letter is likely from about the same time, and is sent from Alice, Klee's mother.

A Tidily Written Letter To the heir of the Ragnvindr Clan, I apologize for sending this letter without notice. You may not remember me, but we've met a few times. We've met near the square, when I sat at the table adjacent to yours at the Good Hunter, and seen you in your tavern… You were always busy with a great many things, especially back when you were much chattier than you are now. You spoke cheerfully and often with you brother and friends then. It's probably no surprise that you did not notice me then. But I've always had my eye on you, child. I recall with crystal clarity how my little Klee once made a complete mess of your vineyard while she was trying to catch Crystalflies there… But you didn't get angry. In fact, you personally escorted Klee back and even gave her a few bottles of fresh grape juice. Now I think that might jog your memory, yes? Klee recently told me that she "hasn't seen that strange man with the red hair in aaages," so I decided to look into it out of curiousity. My deepest condolences regarding your father. In many of the stories I've been told, you are the model knight: proud, driven, a knight of noble character and lineage. But I know that you're gentler than you appear. If you weren't, you wouldn't have treated Klee the way you did. And since you helped my child out, I hope you won't mind if I treat you as if you were my own. Therefore, I sincerely hope that you will leave the dark place that you are presently in, and that you will not wallow in grief and remorse. Partings are the most painful things, but they also encourage us to grow. A bird that has lost the roof over its head will fly further than otehrs of its kind. Go out and see the world. That's the best course of action I can envision. Only by feeling, observing, and listening can your heart be healed. Parents all wish that they can accompany their children forever, and the skies, seas, and stars bear witness to that oath. Everything that was your father now finds new life with you. That which you will experience in this world may have been things that you father experienced once upon a time. I hope that the wind will bring you all manner of wondrous things in your journeys to come. In any case, keep your chin up, young child.

Diluc in return sends a reply to Alice, which can be found in Albedo's camp in Dragonspine.

Letter Addressed to Ms. Alice Dear Ms. Alice, I must admit that when I read the opening lines of this letter, I was not expecting it to have been written by you. It seems that I may have indeed failed to notice you despite your presence nearby. My apologies for that. Regarding Klee, I have heard that you are an extremely powerful witch, so I suspect that Klee would have been just fine sans my presence. Even so, you sent me this letter, for which I am thankful. As you have said, traveling is my best option at present. I will go out and experience all that the world has to offer, just as you have suggested. My father's will shall find continuation through me. Klee is welcome to stay at Dawn Winery as a guest during my absence. Adelinde will prepare sufficient snacks and grape juice for such occasions. And if you don't mind, you are also welcome to drop by. I hope that you and Klee stay in good health.

At this point Kaeya finds out about Diluc's plan to leave Mondstadt, and is the first to send him a letter regarding it.

A Letter in Beautiful Handwriting (II) To D: Even I was a little surprised to hear that you'd decided to leave on a trip. Jean wanted to write and try and dissuade you, but I advised her against it. As for Varka, I don't think he knows that about this. Otherwise, he'd have probably sat you down for a talk. If you'd like to leave, do it now. The less the people know, the less the goodbyes you'll have to say. Leave at night, too, so things won't be too saddening. Take care.

Diluc has started his travels around Teyvat at this point, when Grand Master Varka finds out and sends him a letter.

A Letter With Rough Handwriting Diluc, Jean wrote to me lately with shocking news. If I don't miss my guess, she wrote to you too. Her sentiments are those of the Knights as a whole. Crepus was a good man, and I thought very well of him. It grieves me greatly to know that he met with such a fate. As for your defeat of the drake, the honors for that accomplisment should go to your father. I do not accept Eroch's theft of the credit for that deed, which was bought with your father's sacrifice. Stolen credit will not be accepted within the Knights of Favonius under any circumstances. I will not permit it. I have already given Jean the authority to punish Eroch with all necessary severity. The Knights will inform you of the results. I've heard that you've been taking some time off outdoors and may not be easy to reach, so there is no guarantee that my letter will reach you. As such, I'll stop here for now. If it does reach you, then I wish you good health and safety in your travels. Contact us if you need anything. I hope that falcon of yours will help put this letter in your hands. I mean, I don't write in person very often, you know? These may seem like pointless words to you right now, but remember: even the greatest of disasters must come to an end. Mondstadt waits for your return, and if you're willing, the Knights will always welcome you. (If you're not, forget I said anything, yeah?)

Kaeya also sends Diluc a letter, echoing Varka's message about Jean taking care of Eroch.

A Letter in Beautiful Handwriting (III) To D: Some slightly bad news. Eroch won't be quite so difficult to bring down after all. The Grand Master's order to investigate has certainly dealt him a major blow, but I wouldn't call the problem "pulled up by the roots" yet. The matter's been haned over to Jean's jurisdiction. She'll take care of this, I believe. Eroch is an obstacle in her path, in any case. Just sit tight and wait for the good news.

A Dawn Winery staff member then sends a letter to Diluc. It was likely Elzer due to his authoritive status amongst the staff, but there is no confirmation there.

A Letter With Clear Handwriting Master, Master Kaeya took leave and stayed at Dawn Winery for a few days. In a rare turn of events, he decided to stay in his original bedroom. He would pace around the grounds when idle, and even asked Adelinde to make him his favorite dishes. Ah, it really does take me back. I shall be honest with you, butu I was quite surprised to hear Master Kaeya say that he wanted to stay for a few days. We did not refuse him, however. We believe that even if you were here, you would not refuse him outright. Dawn Winery has always been a more quiet location, perhaps because all who stay here are rather peacable people. The house is made by those who live in it, and Master Kaeya's uncommon arrival did end up livening the place up significantly. I hope that you are doing well in your travels abroad. Everyone here at the winery misses you. May you remain safe and in good health.

Diluc sends a reply to Varka next. (This can be found in Jean's office in the Knights of Favonius Headquarters)

A Letter Addressed to Grand Master Varka Dear Master Varka, You have my utmost thanks for your condolences and concern. My father would be pleased to have heard your compliments. I doubt that anything would have pleased himm more than to have the acknowledgement of the Knight of Boreas. I am presently traveling, andby a stroke of fortune, your letter has indeed reached me safely. If nothing goes awry, I believe that I will not be joining the Knights of Favonius. However, I will not forget my previous experiences. I will commit everything the Knights taught me to heart. May this find you in good health.

Around this time, Kaeya sends Diluc another letter.

A Letter Beautiful Handwriting (IV) To D: Recently, a group of businessmen returned to Mondstadt. Word is that the reason for their return is a downturn in business. According to my observations, their employees are regulars at Angel's Share. These people can also be found out in the more dangerous parts of the wilds around the city. Now, a few of them were a little careless and even dropped some pages of their notes on the ground. I took the liberty of returning these sheets to the Angel's Share. You know, out of the goodness of my heart. I think they might have something to do with you, seeing as how they were there. I also noticed that their notes were written in code. Information brokers, perhaps? Or some kind of secret organization? Whatever the case, it took quite a lot of effort to see those blurred words with only one eye, you know? Don't worry, I'll keep this a secret.

Diluc replies to Kaeya for the first time we see. (This letter is found in a secret storage compartment on the roof of the Knights of Favonius Headquarters. The images containing Diluc's letters to Kaeya are compiled in one with the compartment details and will be at the end of this post, but the letter will be typed out below here)

Letter Addressed to "K" (I) To K: Message recieved. Thank you. Also, I suggest that you stop mentioning eyes in your letters. Don't think that I don't know that your right eye wasn't blinded.

Kaeya sends another reply.

A Letter to Beautiful Handwriting (V) To D: I didn't try to hide it from you on purpose, you know. But I suppose you found out all the same, huh? I mean, not everyone who wears an eyepatch must be blind, right? Don't people also wear an eyepatch if they have a scar over their right eye? The long-awaited news is finally here. Now I'm going to bring a glass of wine when I go to watch Eroch pack his things and leave on his last day (good riddance, by the way). That should be fun, eh? I know you're not the type to do that sort of thing, but I am, so allow me.

Diluc then returns to Mondstadt and recieves a letter from Jean.

A Letter With Elegant Handwriting Dear Diluc, Welcome back to Mondstadt, Sir. It has been some time since the incdient. We discovered that Eroch had betrayed us, and he has been punished severely. I hope this news will put your mind at ease. In other news, out people have discovered that the Abyss Order has stepped up its activities between Wolvendom and Stone Gate lately. Also - a mysterious individual that people are calling the "Darknight Hero" has suddenly started showing uup out of nowhere all around Mondstadt city. He typically acts in the dead of night, and his intentions are currently unclear. Please stay safe, and notify the Knights as soon as possible should you see anything suspicious. We will send support immediately. Whether you are presently in our ranks or not, all faithful knights will remember your contributions to the Knights of Favonius. May you remain in good health.

Kaeya sends another letter to Diluc.

A Letter in Beautiful Handwriting (VI) To D: Oh my! No sooner did you get back than a mysterious character started popping up. I hear he's called the Darknight Hero. He has repeatedly fought off Treasure Hoarders and monsters in the Mondstadt area - and he's even attacked Abyss Order strongholds. So far, it seems like he is on Mondstadt's side, but the Knights of Favonius could never permit the existence of a vigilante. I get the deeling that the two of you would get along nicely. Why don't you find the oppurtunity to get to know him and give him some sage advice? You know, just so he doesn't get caught by the Knights?

Diluc replies to Jean's letter.

Letter Addressed to the Acting Grand Master Dear Jean, Thank you for your concern, Acting Grand Master. It is as you say. That incident should no longer weigh heavily on my mind. Punishing Eroch for his malfeasance was the righ way to correct the Knights of Favonius's past mistakes. This is an immportant step indeed for the Knights. As for my own personal safety, you need not concern yourseld too much. The Knights of Favonius should focus their efforts where it counts by looking after those who need it most. May you also remain in good health.

Kaeya sends Diluc a letter as the Knights further their investigation into the Darknight Hero.

A Letter in Beautiful Handwriting (VII) To D: Per standard procedure, the Knights of Favonius needs to take a statement from all relevant parties. Recently, the Knights of Favonius have recieved reports from a number of eye-witnesses claiming to have seen the Darknight Hero in the vicinity of the Dawn Winery. The Grand Master has assigned the Cavalry Company to this mission. As such, I will be paying you a visit in three days. He seems to think that our relationship can be improved if we are forced to talk in person. Don't worry, though. My lips are sealed. This will be nothing more than a formality. Anyways, three days' notice should be enough for you, I presume?

A Letter in Beautiful Handwriting (VIII) To D: The appearance of the Darknight Hero has indeed bought the Knights of Favonius some valuable time during the Abyss Order's last attack. This helped Jean convince the Knights of Favonius to stop focusing on trying to stop him. This will decrease the limits on the Darknight Hero's actions, but this doesn't mean that his situation will necessarily improve. Objects with too honed an edge tend to be damaged more easily. You, I'm sure, are aware of the great dangers that come with acting alone. That said, I would advise against such a course of action.

A Letter in Beautiful Handwriting (IX) To D: I heard that the Dawn Winery did not suffer any damage. Likewise, the Knights of Favonius only sustained minor injuries, and will recover quickly. However, an employee of a local merchant has gone missing, and their last known location just so happens to align with the Abyss Order's are of activity. The Knights have dispatched people to go to the rescue. Do be aware that the Abyss Order has become more dangerous as of late, even going so far as to organize multi-pronged offesives. Perhaps the Darknight Hero and the Knights of Favonius should team up. That might guarantee that things will go off without a hitch, hmm?

After the investigation is somewhat concluded, Diluc sends another reply to Kaeya.

Letter Addressed to "K" (II) To K: Thanks for the letter. Cooperating with the Knights has objective pros and cons, like two sides of a coin. I'm sure you understand that better than I do. No need to worry about my safety. Self-preservation is easy. Striving towards my goal is hard. Take better care of yourself instead.

Going to the Coast where the ley line is located, you can find some notes at the tent. These are from Diluc's informant who suggests he reach out to Albedo. (The informant is possibly Vile [or associated with her], who gets defensive if you talk to her behing the Angel's Share during the Hidden Strife event)

The First Note It's been years since the ley lines last released such highly aggressive monsters during an anomaly. The Darknight Hero's timing was perfect. The way he lured the monsters a few time into the open to defeat them one by one… quite the strategy. And then he pretended to be seriously injured, luring out the Abyss Order's main forces and then meeting them head on. A truly magnificent counterattack. Still, this plan involved too many uncertainties. The Darknight Hero himseld even said that he can't afford to take risks like this every time. Getting to the root of the problem and preventing these types of ley line disorders from happening is the safest approach.

The Second Note Ley lines hold many secrets. We ordinary people do not need to concern ourselves with the way they work. But since the Darknight Hero will be fighting Against the Abyss Order for the long term, it is in our best interests to gain a deeper understanding of them. I heard that the caption of the Knights of Favonius Investigation Team is a highly accomplished academic, but unlike Lisa, he is not especially close with the Acting Grand Master. We should be able to learn a few things from him without the Knights of Favonius finding out. Perhaps the Darknight Hero could ask him for input on the technical issues regarding the ley lines. I will deliver the letter to his camp on the mountain.

Albedo reaches out and sends a letter to Diluc.

A Neatly Written Letter Dear Mr. Diluc, It is my pleasure to investigate the ley lines alongside you. As you know, my focus is on alchemy, so my knowledge of the ley lines remains quite shalloe, and I fear that I will only be able to share what little understand I have. According to many pre-existing documents, the ley lines can be seen as a medium for storing informamtion. Under certain circumstances, they can record activities that occur in the area around the. All this information goes through a recording and storage prcoess. After a certain period of time, they may be released once again by the ley lines. If I may be so bold as to make a guess, there should be a method to activate the ley lines. Those who grasp such methods can control the times at which ley line information is recorded and released. Judging from the runic symbols and some other clues, I surmise that there are particular members of the Abyss Order who may have a very small chance of being able to achieve this. If you believe that this requires further investigation, these entities may serve as your point of entry. I wrote a paper a few years ago in which I covered my brief foray into questioins concerning the flow of ley lines and other such topics. You will find a copy of this paper enclosed. I hope that it can help to clear up some of your doubts.

Diluc replies to Albedo next. (This letter is found at Albedo's camp in Dragonspine, near the letter to Alice)

Letter Addressed to Mr. Albedo Dear Albedo, Thank you for the detailed explanation. I have read your paper and found it both enriching and easy to understand. It is rare a and well-written document indeed. I have written the relevant information down in hopes that it will be put to good use in the future. Guarding against danger is a very important skill. I will continue to keep watching over the Abyss Order, and use force against them where necessary.

We are now brought to the last day of the event, when we get a letter from one of Diluc's informants that led to us reading the other letters.

A New Letter Dear Darknight Hero, the Knights of Favonius have stepped up the guard details throughout Mondstadt without making any major movements. The Abyss Order will not have noticed. I am scouting around Dragonspine. The monsters here are scattered and seperated. Clearly, they haven't been assembled by the Abyss Order. There are no signs of enemy activity in the south of Mondstadt either. If you can confirm that the other locations are also free of monsters, we will be able to conclude that the Abyss Order has nothing to do with the recent ley line disorders.

While caught up with the letters, there is a little bit I couldn't appropriately fit into the timeline. It is in a secret compartment belonging to Kaeya, which was where Diluc's letters to him were located. Here is the descriptions and other contents of the compartment.

Mysterious Box in a Secret Comparment The objects in the box are all pretty old. One particular sheet of paper stands out. A piece of it has been burned away, and the remaining parts show signs of hacing been rescued from that same flame. Every line on this sheet of paper has a matching one right under it. From the handwriting, it looks liike a child wrote on this first before an adult stepped in, held their hand, and taught them how to do it a second time. The writing are as follows: "Remember always that it was the Alberich Clan, who did not have royal blood, who stepped in as regents when the strength of the one-eyed king Irmin failed" "Though we could not restore Khaenri'ah to life, we of the Alberich Clan should leave lives as those who blaze like fire, rather than those who wallow in the embers." If you flip the paper over, there are other words there. You reckon these must be annotations of some sort. "I saved this one memento from the fire 'Father' made while he wasn't paying attention. This was in violation of our principles. Our clan's affairs should never be recorded. For me, this sheet of paper cannot serve as any form of identification, and will not give me pasage anywhere. Now that I look at it, his handwriting was as grieving as a smoking ash pile. There is no way that I can write something like that, living in Mondstadt as I am." Moving the paper aside, you can see a cloth bag underneath it that conatins an eyepatch of significant age. A sticker is attached to the side, and the text on it reads: "Hah! to think that all that play-acting as a one-eyed pirate would eventually end with one actual wounded eye. I have never blamed Diluc for that. I suppose I must have been asking for it, telling him the truth the day my adoptive father died without expecting conflict to emerge somehow. He seems to believe that I really was blinded, though that's not the case. Well, I've fooled him for a while, haven't I? Might as well keep going." Two letters lie beneath the bag, all of which have "D" as their sender. The letters are in great condition, and there is a time written on the back. This is most likely the time these letters were received. You can tell that the words have been written in a strong but elegant hand. [See "Letter Addressed to 'K' (I)" and "Letter Addressed ti 'K' (II)] A small paper bag lies next to these two letters. It contains nothing but a few seashells. They have lost most of their luster. It is unclear how much time has passed since they were picked up.

Note: The seashells are mentioned in the Echoing Tales event from the 1.6 version of the game. In the event, Kaeya asks if Diluc wants to collect seashells like they used to when they were kids, to which Diluc is surprised Kaeya remembers that.

Albedo - his drawing utensils It was another cold day at Dragonspine for Albedo in his lab, the only difference being that you and Klee had come to pay him a visit this morning. "Big brother Albedo, what are you doing?" asked Klee, who could barely see what was going on on the table. "I'm doing an experiment. So you better be careful not to get hurt by the reaction," he explained calmly. You laugh at them both "Maybe if you ask nicely, Albedo will give you some new bombs for your birthday, Klee." "You'd really do that, Albedo?" "No way, don't give her false hope Y/N!" "Sorry," you chuckled to yourself "Come on Klee, we'll give Albedo some rest so he can finish his studies. He'll have lunch with us later. And maybe he'll join us on the way back to Mondstadt?" the last part was not so much addressed to KLee as to Albedo, while you gave him a questioning look. With a smile, Albedo glanced at you, "Yes, of course. I have to take someone on a promised date." You blushed a little, but Klee interrupted, "Big brother! You are only allowed to go on a date with Y/N! Otherwise, I'll tell Jean about it and she'll put you in time out!" "I'm sure she will." Albedo laughed and you went to the other end of the lab to entertain Klee for a bit. "Klee, do you want to tell me about King Dodoco and his island again? You promised to show it to me one day," you asked the energetic girl and immediately her eyes lit up. "Klee can draw you a map of the island! Then we'd know all the fun places we have to visit!" she began, looking for something in her bag, probably her crayons, but then she suddenly gave you a sad look that almost broke your heart. "Klee left her crayons in her room. Now I can't draw you the map." Her eyes almost started to water, but you quickly reacted and gave her a hug. "Don't worry Klee. I'm sure Albedo won't mind if we use his pencils this one time. I'll get them for you." You stood up and tiptoed, to not disturbe the alchemist, over to where Albedo kept all his drawing utensils. A few moments later you returned to Klee and handed her the pencils and your own notebook, and the little girl began happily drawing the Dodoco Island while telling you all about it. Some time later, Albedo finally got up and wanted to join you two in whatever you were doing. But he was surprised to find Klee asleep on your lap while you drew something in your notebook. "Are those my pencils you're using?" he asked, half-amused, and you looked up at him. "Oh yeah, sorry I borrowed them, but Klee was so excited to draw a map of King Dodocos Island for me that I couldn't resist," you apologize to him. "That's okay, I see you even sacrificed your notebook for your research for her." "Oh that's okay, now I'll always have something to remind me of this bundle of joy whenever I go through it." You smile at the sleeping Klee. "Then maybe I should draw something in the book too, so you won't forget her brother when you're on your research trips." You couldn't help but smile at this comment "I'd love to have a personal artwork of the famous artist as chief alchemist in my notes."

Amber - her glider Amber stormed into Favounius' headquarters, and the guards were sure they had never seen the usually enthusiastic outrider so angry. "I'm going to kill Kaeya! I will push him off starsnash cliff. Or I will ask Master Diluc to ban him from ever visiting Angles Share again. That's what he gets for messing with me." She stormed into Kaeya's office without knocking, even though she knew that was rude. But at the moment, she didn't care. "WHERE DID YOU PUT MY GLIDER?" Kaeya looked up from his paperwork and just smiled at her, "Good morning to you too. Unfortunately, I don't know what you're talking about, Amber." "You know exactly what I'm talking about. I left my glider with the rest of my equipment at headquarters yesterday and now it's gone! And no, I didn't take it home with me! I already checked!" Kaeya couldn't help but be amused by Amber's reaction. He knew that her glider was one of the most precious things she owned, so even he wouldn't dare to even touch it. But he knew who would be brave enough to do it. "I don't know why you always think I'm responsible for everything bad that happens to the knights, but I might be able to give you a hint about who got to headquarters before you did. An adventurer who might have been a little upset that they only won second place in the Mondstadt Gliding Championship again, to be specific." That was the only thing Kaeya said before turning back to his paperwork and Amber froze. "Do you know where they went?" she asked. "If I were you, I'd look near Stormterror's lair." Amber stormed out of his office and made her way to the mentioned location as fast as she could. After some searching, he finally saw a familiar figure and walked towards it. "Y/N!" the outrider called out and at the sound of her voice you turned around. "Hey Amber, what are you doing here?" "The better question is, what are you doing here with my glider?" she crossed her arms and looked at you disapprovingly. "You know, I trained for a whole year to finally beat you as a glider champion, and again, for the third year in a row, I only came in second. So I borrowed yours to prove you modified it." Even though you seemed serious, Amber knew you were joking. She knew you way too well to think you were just jealous, so she started laughing. "You may have trained for a whole year, but you still can't get your landing right," she laughed, and you just looked at her in shock. "It's called a 'special effect landing'! I'm sorry the Jugdes don't appreciate how hard I've worked to perfect this art." "I'm not sure Barbara would call it a 'special effects landing' after having to treat your sprained ankle." You both had to laugh as you remembered Barbara's disappointed expression. It was your third sprained ankle in a month, and you were pretty sure you were about to be banned from the cathedral. You handed Amber back her glider. "I have to admit, you didn't modify your glider, so you can have it back. But I'll beat you next time!" "Sure you will, but for now you should accompany me to headquarters to apologize to Kaeya," Amber said, turning around. "Why is that?" you asked, surprised. "Because I accused him of stealing my glider, and I'm not going to apologize myself. So come on now."

Diluc - his coat

It was another evening in Angelshare and Diluc was fully devoted to his bartending duties while giving Venti and Kaeya a disapproving look now and then. He had the feeling that the two of them alone made up half of his profits. After the last of the adventurers had finally left the tavern and he was able to convince Venti and Kaeya to go home (he had threatened them that otherwise they would have to pay their full bill), Diluc was about to head home when the front door opened again. "We're already closed," he said in a monotone voice without looking up. "Can't I have a glass of apple juice after walking all the way here?" He finally looked up at the sound of the familiar voice. You stood on the doorstep and gave him a smile. The two had been close friends since childhood. You even had been to the Dawn Winery so often as a child that the people of Mondstadt already thought you must be living in the manor as well. "I think I can make an exception for you. But only because you don't order wine, unlike the other guests," grumbled Diluc. "I think you're in the wrong business, Diluc," you chuckled. When he had poured her an apple juice, he finally had time to devote himself fully to you and to ask you about the cause of your visit. But before that was the case, something else caught his eye. "Y/N what are you wearing?" he asked with raised eyebrows. You looked down at yourself before you began to smile brightly, "I borrowed one of your old coats from Adeline and modified it a bit. She said you wouldn't wear it anymore anyway," your voice, euphoric at the beginning, became quieter and quieter towards the end, because you were suddenly afraid that Diluc wouldn't like it that you had remade his coat. He went around the bar counter and sat down on the chair next to you. "Y/N look at me. I think it's wonderful what you've done with the coat. It looks perfect on you. But if you want a new coat I can buy you a new one. Even his from Fontaine like you always wanted or the extra warm ones from Sneznaya or..." "No, I want this one!" you said quickly and took his hands. "I don't need the expensive stuff. You know that. Besides, this coat is much more comfortable than the fancy ones from Fontaine." "And you look a lot better in it," Diluc added, and your cheeks flushed a little. "Stop flirting, that's Kaeya's thing" you said and stood up "I don't want to hold you up too long either. Actually, I'm just here to walk home with you. I couldn't sleep." Diluc gave you a smile and nodded "Let me just lock the door and I'll be with you in a minute."
