#akuma forms and hero forms don't count
Note
ML Plot Points: The dog is the miraculous that gives the power of predation. The main power is still Fetch, but other powers include invisibility and tracking (both anything within a certain distance and things that she can picture clearly in her mind.
Sidenote, why do so many people give Juleka the invisibility powers? Her entire thing is wanting to be seen and noticed. Her akumatizations had this as their whole deal and her hero form was all about big flashy attacks.
If you want a character for whom powers of subtlety and keeping track of things from the background work thematically, Sabrina is right there. It would also make her another person who gets similar powers as an akuma and as a hero (there's only 6 in canon, 7 if you count Ryukomori, but that's still a decent amount).
So as someone who does go with the invisibility rather than the super-punch:
It's in a similar vein to her wanting to be noticed, but more about reclaiming her invisibility.
Because as much as she hates invisibility and wants to be noticed, she's still also very nervous when getting all of that attention and wants to hide.
Giving her the power of invisibility lets her do both and gives her control over the situation. Juleka is the one choosing if she is noticed or not. She's not ignored in the background, nor is she forced into the spotlight. She is choosing when and how people see her.
Sabrina can be in a similar boat, after all her first Akumatization did involve her being invisible. But where I think Juleka could get something positive out of reclaiming the thing that hurt her, with Sabrina I don't think letting her stay in the background is a good choice. She needs to find her own voice and she needs to learn to work for herself and be the one in charge rather than just following the lead of someone else.

Some Non-Rocket Stuff I've Been Working On
Tumblr media
Some miscellaneous villains that can bother the heroes whenever Egg Head's gone rotten.
Princess Abby is, probably most obviously, our equivalent of Princess Sally from the Archie Sonic comics. Unlike Sally, though, Abby is less of a love interest and more of an embittered ex of Zip's that undertakes the occasional passive-aggressive, teetering between evil and not-evil scheme in order to get revenge on or otherwise just mess with the Pooch. Posie considers Abby her biggest rival.... and 2nd biggest crush.
Fake Zip is this world's Metal Sonic. Egg Head being more of a bio-engineer than a roboticist, she's not exactly building robot clones every day. Normal clones work fine. Fake Zip is the main antagonist of Zip the Pooch 2: Cease Deceit, and comes back again and again in increasingly esoteric forms and roles. Egg Head's longest and most loyal minion, he's one of the most dangerous Pooches around if you don't count the other 5.
Exotor is the living planet(?) (meteor? Asteroid?) that Dr. Egg Head creates in Zip the Pooch 1, but after his defeat at the hands of Zip, she kind of abandoned it as space junk. But he comes back for revenge, at first trying to crash into Planet Zip, and then spawning a more mobile copy of its consciousness into this alien body that can keep up with Zip and fight toe-to-weird-toe-like-tentacle. The secret final boss of Zip the Fighters, like what Akuma is to Street Fighter 2. Exotor is a combination of the Death Egg and Sonic.Exe, with a bit of Ego and Deoxys thrown in for good measure. Probably one of my favorite remakes of a character from the main series!
But that's not all!
Tumblr media
My first set of characters in the Zip-verse that are NOT alternate universe clones of characters from Sonic! The Sonic series has been sorely missing out on some spooky-themed characters for far too long, and I'm not making the same mistake, so meet team Horror Show!
Ludlow is a zombie dog and the leader of the team. Some kind of a magic undertaker, he goes against both Zip and his friends AND the Egg Head Empire, much more of a loose canon in the world. It's unknown what his real final goals are, since I made him in the middle of a road trip and didn't consider that he needed goals until typing this sentence, but the gang won't let him send the land into spooky scary chaos any time soon.
Joining him are other scary characters, BooBoo the Witch, Vendetta the Spider, and Goops the Candy Snake, representing the occult, the horror, and the fun parts of the Halloween season respectively. They might be sowing chaos on Planet Zip, but they're intensely loyal to each other, so don't cross them!
Once I have reliable internet at my new place, I hope to be making a lot more content on here, so stay tuned! My current goals are to get the other teams in my head out as designs (mainly ones based on the classic-era baddies and the IDW Diamond Cutters) and to try my hand at making some landscapes of the various zones I came up with for this setting. All 8 zones of Zip the Pooch 1 are safe in my noggin, and I might try to draw a few silly comics based on the plot of it.
I'm not exactly a professional-grade artist or anything, but this project is fun, so I don't plan on stopping anytime soon, so I'll see you soon! I know I have a few people looking around here because of the sonic OC polls, and I hope some of you stick around for more! ^-^

Marinette, Adrien, Alya, and Nino woke up early in the morning to prepare for their day at Collège Françoise Dupont. They had breakfast together and talked about their plans for the day.
Marinette: "I have to finish my design project for class today. It's due tomorrow."
Adrien: "I have a photoshoot this afternoon, but I should be back in time for class."
Alya: "I'm working on an article for the school newspaper. It's about the upcoming school dance."
Nino: "I'm practicing with my band after school. We have a gig this weekend."
As they left their houses and walked to school, they chatted and laughed together. They were happy to have such good friends in their lives.
Alya: "Hey, have you guys heard about the new bakery that opened up near the school? I heard they have the best croissants in town."
Marinette: "Ooh, we should check it out after class."
Adrien: "Sounds good to me. I could use a good pastry after my photoshoot."
Nino: "Count me in. I'm always up for trying new food."
As the group walked towards the school, Alya couldn't help but pull out her phone and start taking pictures of the scenery around them. "This is perfect material for my blog," she said with a smile.
Nino nodded in agreement. "Yeah, and I've got a gig tonight. I can't wait to spin some sick beats."
Marinette and Adrien looked at each other and laughed. They had become used to their friends' passions for blogging and music, and were happy to support them.
Suddenly, a gust of wind blew past them, and they all felt a familiar presence. "Kwamis, do you sense anything?" Marinette asked.
"I sense danger, my lady," Tikki, Marinette's kwami, replied.
"Me too, my lady," Plagg, Adrien's kwami, chimed in.
The group looked around, trying to identify the source of the danger. "We should transform just in case," Alya suggested.
Marinette and Adrien nodded, and the group quickly found a secluded spot to transform. Within seconds, they were in their superhero forms - Ladybug, Chat Noir, Rena Rouge, and Carapace.
"Let's go find out what's going on," Ladybug said, leading the charge towards the danger.
.
As the akuma attack raged on, the new spider hero sprung into action. Using her spider abilities, she swung from building to building, dodging attacks from the akumatized villain.
With her spider webs and quick reflexes, the spider hero was able to subdue the villain and save the day. However, before the Miraculous team arrived on the scene, she quickly disappeared into the shadows, leaving the civilians in awe and confusion.
Ladybug, Chat Noir, Rena Rouge, and Carapace arrived just as the akumatized villain was being taken away by the authorities. They surveyed the area and noticed the absence of the new hero.
"I can't believe we missed the chance to meet this new hero," Chat Noir said, disappointed.
Ladybug nodded in agreement. "We should find out who she is and see if she wants to join our team. We could use all the help we can get."
Rena Rouge spoke up. "I can try to use my fox charm to track her down. We have to make sure she's trustworthy before we invite her to join us."
Carapace added, "And we should make sure she knows the importance of keeping her identity a secret. We don't want Hawk Moth to use her against us."
With a plan in mind, the Miraculous team set out to find the mysterious new spider hero and hopefully recruit her to their cause.
..
Akuma attack in progress, chaos in the streets. Suddenly, a new hero swings into action, wearing a red and black spider-themed costume.
Spider hero: "Looks like Paris needs a hero. Don't worry, I've got this."
The people watching from the sidelines cheer as Spider hero battles the akumatized villain, using their spider-like abilities to dodge attacks and deliver powerful blows.
Akumatized villain: "Who are you? Another one of Ladybug's friends?"
Spider hero: "I'm the Spider hero, and I'm here to stop you!"
As the battle intensifies, Spider hero finally manages to defeat the villain and purify the akuma. The people watching cheer loudly as the Spider hero swings away, disappearing from sight.
Ladybug arrives on the scene, looking around at the aftermath of the battle.
Ladybug: "Looks like we missed the action again."
Chat Noir: "But who was that new hero? They were incredible!"
Carapace: "I've never seen anyone move like that. Maybe they could join our team?"
Rena Rouge: "We should try to find out who they are and thank them for their help."
Ladybug nods in agreement.
Ladybug: "Yes, we should. For now, let's make sure everyone is safe and secure the area."
As the team goes about their duties, they can't help but wonder who the mysterious Spider hero is and what other amazing things they are capable

i mentioned a couple of days ago (yesterday??) that i don't want a predator miraculous to get a prey or vice versa, because in my au, it means something to have it. like, especially since they grew up in their formative years with it, marinette can't exactly just be ladybug anymore. she can't. it's not made for her anymore. she thinks like a black cat miraculous, now.
which means that marinette is much better at being any predator miraculous. it keeps things balanced. two predator miraculouses on scene don't work together all that well. they'll get the job done, but they'll end up leveling half of the city because they're so impulsive. so explosive.
and two prey miraculouses will get the job done, too, but they'll take longer. so much longer. they'll take hours. days. planning and perfecting everything before attempting it. that's not something that people can count on, even if they know that the super heros will make sure to keep the damage down to a single bench being flipped over.
so marinette can only use a predator. and adrien can only use a prey. especially since, with marinette having adhd, being someone like the ladybug would be torture for her now. she's not used to it anymore. she'll feel like time is moving way too slowly, get impatient, and get sick from it. everything is quieter, slower, and harder for her to do.
adrien would get overwhelmed. the noise, the smells, the sights, everything around him would be bigger and brighter and stronger. it would be impossible for them to solve an akuma like this.
but that doesn't mean they can't try.
in order to build immunity to the disorienting mess that is using a different type of miraculous, they can try combining. soooo. dragonbug is still a thing.
i'm going to try to make a diagram for my own personal use, but each miraculous can only combine with two others (that way you don't get someone trying to fuse like eight miraculouses at once), and each miraculous is different. for the ladybug, you can only combine it with the butterfly, or the dragon.
i'm still workshopping the cat...
but anyway. dragonbug is a thing. not a very often thing, because adrien gets really sick afterwards (falling over, Needs To Be On Floor syndrome, confusion) but it's a thing that can be used. is this worldbuilding all just because i want adrien's dragonbug form to be a knight with a sword and shield? leave me alone
(yes)
(i really just want kitty to gush over her big strong knight in black armor sporting a sword and shield and an embarrassed look on his face from how knightly he looks, but also, i want concrete rules to all of the miraculous use or else everything gets op real easily)

Ever thought redesigning mlb characters?
Or hear me out…
Mlb characters if they are characters in lmk
Or lmk characters if they are characters in mlb
Yeah, I have thought of redesigning MLB characters. I actually have an old sketch for a Ladybug redesign, though I have a different idea now of how I would design it than back then.
And ooh, both ideas sound pretty cool! MLB would probably be easy design wise— at least talking civilian forms since we have a lot of canon designs with similar outfits to go off, I'd say. So, to have the designs count as canon accurate to the art style would be easy. I think the hero outfits would definitely be a lot different, considering that LMK has bulkier designs and uses a lot more armor than MLB. It makes sense due to the fact that MLB is a magical girl adjacent show. Those don't ever use much armor and have slimmer designs besides from ruffles and bows mainly, MLB hero forms are latex aside from some additional accessories and padding on the boy's designs.
For LB, her main weapon would still be her yo-yo and would fall into the same mythical weapons like the Monkey staff, the wind fan, and the lantern Mac used in LMK. Lore wise, maybe the yo-yo could be something Nüwa made—since she's sorta a creator god— I think—and was stolen accidentally by Tikki or at least given to her from Nüwa. CN, however, since his main ability cataclysm doesn't connect to his main weapon, I would replace his baton with big bulky gauntlets. To sorta not make another really strong staff like weapon. They would have the same effect as his in show cataclysm does.
In the case of LMK, if they were in MLB, it's both easy and difficult. The roles are the easy bit. MK would very obviously take the monkey kwami, Mei the dragon, and Red Son the bull. MK would stumble across his kwami in a similar way he does with the staff and LB and CN do in their shop. Him only found out later that SWK, the past holder, had been the one to place it to be found. Mei and Red Son would have had it past down generational. I picture Tang as the guardian that takes care of the kwamis, which would make a link to Tripitaka since he was the guardian in swk's time but wasn't able to pass it down. Tripitaka would've given Swk his miraculous. The rest becomes a bit more complicated. Considering none of the main have the Ladybug or Cat miraculous, it makes it hard to accomplish evil in a similar set up to MLB considering they wouldn't be able to get rid of akumas. At least the more known way. LBD makes the most sense to have as hawkmoth, meaning the mayor could be the peacock holder. Maybe originally, Mac has the fox miraculous, but to mirror when LBD gives him a power up in s3; he could take hold of the peacock miraculous. Who knows!
This was very nice to brainstorm, but I fear if I think about this anymore.. I'll have another au to add to the list :')

Marinette and Luka didn't break up because Marinette was still in love with Adrien or because Marinette couldn't be honest with him.
The reason they broke up is because Luka only had 1 outfit outside of his regular clothes and it drove Marinette nuts.

A Blinded Kiss
I haven’t posted anything recently so I dug around in my WIPs to see if anything was even worth posting and I found this that I made a while ago. It certainly isn’t the best but it isn’t the worst out of all my other WIPs.
Tumblr media
"Is this really necessary?" The bluenette asked, eyeing a blindfold given by her brotherly figure.
"Of course it is Pixie!" An older man with two-toned hair replied, way too over enthusiastic about the whole situation. "It's a great way to find your way around the manor”
"And it's a great family bonding experience too!" Another man in the room replied, even more enthusiastic than the first.
"Fine, I'll do it Jay" the blue-eyed girl huffed, twirling the blindfold between her fingers. "What are the rules again, Dick?"
Dick beamed at the girl before answering. "Well Mari, it's simple. Put the blindfold on, count to fifty, spin around and try to steal a hug from anyone in the manor"
"So I have to walk around the manor blindfolded and try to sneak up on you? You know that's impossible!" Marinette exclaimed, she would not go around the house looking like a touch-starved fool.
"That's exactly why we're doing it" Jason replied, shrugging his shoulders. "It'll last a long time."
After a few seconds, the blue-eyed girl sighed, giving in to both Jason and Dick. "Fine, if that's what makes you happy" Marinette wrapped the matte-black fabric tightly around her eyes, already struggling within the first few seconds. She began counting and she heard the two scuffling away, smiling while being able to tell which direction they went in. In the mean time, Marinette debated her options.
'Both Jason and Dick would be the ideal choices but they'll be able to hear me from a mile away. Tim would be the most logical one since he's half asleep, but where does he even go in this maze? God knows where Alfred is, Mr Wayne is scary. Damian-' She paused her train of thoughts, granted Marinette had only met him a few days ago but that didn't stop the crush she had heavily try to cease. 'He'd probably hear me from a mile away as well. This game is so unfair'
Soon enough, Marinette reached fifty and spun herself around, she used a bit too much force than needed so now not only was she blinded but she lost her sense of direction. Giving herself a minute to recover, the bluenette began to walk. Using her improved senses, thanks to the miraculous, Mari was slowly able to create a theoretical map in her mind, though it did take much more energy than she desired.
"Fighting an akuma is easier than this" The bluenette muttered as she hit her thigh along the corner of a wall.
Even though she was using her enhanced abilities, she'd pump into a corner or a wall every now and again, the amount of times increased when her energy was being used. After wondering a hall for what seemed like hours, the bluenette came to a staircase, one that she ever so carefully used to get to a higher floor. Once she did, she kept a hand on one of the walls, using it as a guide. Soon enough, her hand came to what felt like a doorframe. The door was closed she could tell but it was recent used due to the fact that the doorknob was warm. Making sure not to intrude, she knocked on said door, she almost missed the muffled 'come in' had she not been paying attention. Marinette opened the door, went in and quickly shut it behind her, taking a deep breath.
"Okay I hope you don't mind but which room is this and whose in the room? Dick and Jason thought it would be a good idea to walk around the manor blindfolded while trying to sneak up on them" The bluenette huffed, only to freeze when she heard a familiar chuckle.
"I've heard, you're in my room, It's Damian just to clarify" 'Sh-' "So, what task must be fulfilled to give you permission to take the blindfold off? I doubt you want to keep it on any longer" Marinette giggled.
"You're right, I would probably get lost of I continue. Um, I have to 'steal a hug' apparently"
"So you have to hug someone without them inspecting it" Damian came to that conclusion to which the bluenette nodded her head.
"Yeah that's basically it, hey do you have anywhere I could sit down? I'm getting tired..."
"Of course, my bed is five steps to your front and two steps to your right, make yourself comfortable" She wasn't sure how red she had gotten but she obliged anyway. Had she not been wearing the blindfold, she would've seen Damian smiling at her flustered state. Giving herself a moment to regain her energy, Marinette turned to where she presumed Damian was working at his desk. "Can I hug you? Jay never said I couldn't ask the person first. I-I won't if you don't want me to! I just wanted to ask so..."
She heard the boy thoughtfully hum before he made his way over to her. From what she could tell, Damian was now in front of Marinette, looming over her.
"Did Todd or Grayson say it had to be a hug?" Marinette tilted her head in confusion and thoughtfulness, that had never crossed her mind before.
"W-"
"What happens if I kiss you instead?"
The bluenette didn’t reply with words as she knew how terrible her words would be in her flustered state. But she wanted this, her heart longed for it in a way it never did for anyone else. Instead, she nodded, giving the green-eyed boy permission to do as he wished.
She felt his hand lightly tilt her chin up towards, where she presumed, his face was. Then he pressed his lips onto hers, his other had behind her head, tugging at the fabric around her eyes. Marinette felt bliss, she was glad that no one else would interrupt this moment. Shivers went down her spine as she felt Damian’s hands travel up from behind her neck and to wear the blindfold was knotted, gently tugging at the binding. She was glad that when her face was free from the fabric that comprised her vision, the first thing in her line of eyesight were Damian's deep emerald eyes, the shimmered the same way they had when she first laid eyes on him, she'd been enraptured ever since. The boy, however, was smirking as he noticed the pink that dusted her face. Without a moment passing, she threw herself the green-eyed boy, delivering a hug. As she pulled away, her hands cupped his face and she returned his embrace with one of her own. When she pulled away once more, she smiled in satisfaction at his flustered expression.
"When did you realise you had feelings for me?" Marinette asked softly, her forehead pressed against his trying to regain her breath.
"That's a very easy question" Damian stared lovingly into her eyes. "I fell the moment I saw you take down that Akuma three times your size" Her eyes widened.
"You know about me being Ladybug?"
"The same way you know I'm Robin"
They both smiled, creating a truce to not reveal anything.
"Well I better get going, see you later." She got up from the bed and opened the door, only to turn around and say "Je t'aime mon cœur" before exiting the room, leaving a blushing Damian.
Marinette walked back down the stairs, the piece of cloth in hand and small love-struck smile on her face. When she entered the main living room, she came face to face with the owner of the manor.
"Oh hello Mr Wayne"
"Hello Marinette, I see you managed to get the blindfold off" The older man gestured towards the piece of fabric in her hand. "And please, do call me Bruce. Who did you end up surprising with a hug then?"
She smiled brightly before replying. "Damian"
His usual formal demeanor broke for a moment but Bruce quickly picked the pieces back up. "He didn't attack you or injure you in any shape or form?"
Marinette decided to play the oblivious little girl. "No..? Why, does he do it often?" Her head titled in confusion.
"Nothing it doesn't matter" Bruce simply sighed and shook his head. "Also, there's something I'd like to discuss with you at dinner, if you don't mind"
"No not at all, I'll see you at dinner then?" Bruce nodded and left, leaving Marinette alone in the room, waiting for her honorary older brother and his brother to come in. Which they did but only after some time, it was hilarious to see them crouched down, talking to each other in hushed voices. They flinched as she cleared her throat, both slowly turning towards the sound to find a smug looking Marinette and a blindfold whipped around her finger.
"I win"
~~~
Most of the occupants at the table were either in an all out war or were about to be, except for Marinette and an exasperated Bruce Wayne.
"So Marinette" The eldest Wayne began, silencing the rest of the table. "I hope you don't mind me asking but when you were off searching for Jason, you mentioned attacks that have been occurring in Paris, is this true?"
No one failed to notice the girl flinch. "Yeah it's true"
"...how bad are the attacks? In your opinion"
"Well it depends on how strong the person's emotions are really. If their emotions are strong, then the Akuma is strong too"
"What's the strongest akuma that Paris has seen?" It was Tim who asked and memories of the event began swimming through her mind, she got rid of them with a shake of her head.
"The deadliest akuma Paris has experienced was an akuma called 'Syren'. She's a regular person but, as an akuma, she managed to kill around 2 million people. But don't worry! Ladybug's cure managed to bring them back to life"
"D-did... did you die, Pixie?" Jason asked, his anger mixed with worry was boiling over and luckily simmered after seeing her shake her head.
"Do you think the heroes of Paris would let heroes from the Justice League come over to help?"
Marinette contemplated for a moment, should she really risk the heroes getting akumatized? "I think they would but I wouldn't know"
Bruce nodded while Jason leaned over the table to talk closer to his honorary little-sister. "Why didn't you tell me sooner?"
"I didn't want to bother you"
"You're not a bother, Pixie" Jason smiled at the bluenette on the other side of the table. "You never are and you never will be"
~~~
Marinette returned to Paris a few days later, in the mean time, Bruce and the rest of the batfam were planning their visit to the City of Love. Soon enough, the vigilantes were boarded on the plane. Their flight to Paris was relatively silent. After a few hours, they landed and the vigilantes waited on the Eiffel Tower, only to find out there was a battle going on. Before they could engage in the fight, they were engulfed with magical ladybugs that seemed to fix anything destroyed. As they were mesmerized by the cure, a certain spotted-heroine wobbly landed on the platform. Batman was first to notice.
"Ladybug" His voice caused the others to turn around. "Thank you for allowing us into your city"
Ladybug nodded, not uttering a single word.
"We were hoping, with your permission of course, that we could help you be rid of Hawkmoth once and for good" Again, Ladybug didn't reply. "Ladybug?"
When the heroine didn't respond, Batman glanced at Nightwing and the rest of his sons, clearly something was wrong. Unexpectedly, Robin took his glove off, approached the Ladybug-themed hero and placed his hand onto her forehead.
"You have a fever" he stated, his hand trailing down her face to cup her cheek. His family all shot him weird looks. She tiredly blinked at the vigilante, recognising him as Robin and allowed herself to fall into his arms, detransforming while doing so, leaving a burning hot Marinette.
"Dami?" He hummed. "Take me home, please..." She drifted off to sleep, comforted in her lover's arms. He glanced at his family, holding the bluenette close.
"Pixie...is Ladybug?" Red Hood's voice was first.
"You didn't know?" Robin's voice mocking confusion, enraging Red Hood that his youngest brother knew something about his sister that he didn't. Even more so that his demon brother was holding said sister,
"We should take her back home" Dick went over to feel the girl's forehead. "She's burning"
"Tikki?" Robin asked and a red creature flew out from one of Mari's pockets, startling most of the people there.
"I'll try to heal her on the way, follow me"
The floating red creature flew down from the Eiffel Tower, Robin and Marinette close behind. After some hesitation, the others followed, they ended up on top of a bakery. One by one, they entered through the trapdoor on the balcony, finding both Damian with his mask off and a weak looking Marinette. Despite her enfeebled state, the bluenette greeted each vigilante, her gaze landed on Jason.
"It's just a fever, I'll be fine"
Jason removed his helmet and ran a hand through his hair before both settled on his hips. "You don't look fine"
"I promise I am" She wasn't convincing, not at all.
"Fine" Jason huffed, he could never truly say no to the girl he viewed as his little sister. "But since when were you two a thing" He pointed at the two, his gaze resting maliciously on Damian.
"It's all thanks to you, you know" Marinette smirked at Jason's confusion. Tim snickered as he seemed to catch on to what she was saying.
"Had you not organized that 'blindfolded game', I doubt we would be together at this moment" Damian supplied the information, clearly unfazed by the burning rage in the eyes of his older brother.
"Baby Bird's all grown up" The eldest Wayne son overdramatized wiping a fake tear, Batman sighed at his two eldest sons while pinching the bridge of his nose.
"Get your fucking hands off her, Demon Brat!" Jason tried to lunge at Damian, only to be stopped by both Dick and Tim. Though his fury only grew when Marinette snuggled closer to the green-eyed boy, both smirked in victory over Jason's horrified appearance.
Marinette was now part of the family in more ways than one. Though they wish they had found out in better circumstances, they would be able to take down Hawkmoth once and for all, side by side, all together. And to think this all happened because of a silly blindfold game.

I was just thinking about why I liked CatWalker so much and i realised..it's becuase he's like Viperion...almost a copy paste of him.
Let break down their main traits:
Professional yet friendly
Tactical/Tactician
Smooth
Resourceful
Takes initiative
(For ease of understanding and so that I don't have to mentions Adrien again and again let's assume CatWalker is a totally seperate character from him. Also I'll not claim to be completely unbiased. While I liked CatWalker I have a bigger preference for Viperion. Still i will try to be as neutral as possible. If you want to refute something do it nicely and not in the sense to attack me becuase your favourite character got critisized in a post about analysing his character similarities to a pre-existing character.)
So CatWalker...he's pretty neat yeah? A very dependable team mate.
Professional but friendly
It's pretty much shown to us in his introduction that he respects LB and wants to keep it professional. But that doesn't stop him from being friendly.
I can appreciate this.
But it's very much like Viperion. Who also is very into keeping things professional and smooth.
"Thank you for trusting me.", While returning the Snake miraculous to Ladybug. An example of how much he respects her and stays professional. He doesn't burden her with expectations of getting it back but doesn't show aloofness either.
Resourceful
CatWalker helps get back LB her yoyo in Kuro-Neko. This can be seen as a sign of resourcefulness since he claims it for his partner so as to make their fighting more efficient. More so, he believes Ladybug will need it for her Lucky Charm, a step he thinks of in advance. Which is pretty good when your job is to be a hero. (Heck, its good in any job or situation).
Similarly, Viperion finds out how to use the dino plush in Wishmaker and tells Ladybug how to use it effectively and wasting the least amount of time. One might argue that his power go through multiple loops of times doesn't count but it still resourceful. He makes defeating the akuma easier and that's what matters.
Tactician.
Both CatWalker and Viperion have a more tactician nature to them, like Ladybug.
CatWalker notices the piggy back slot on the cat's back and concludes it must be an akuma of sorts. Over here he observes and evaluates, talking a much more active role in decision making and team synergy.
Similarly Viperion notices how to defeat Desperada. He strums his lyre and finds out that Desperada cannot concentrate with his playing and uses it to help LB and Cat Noir defeat the akuma.
Smooth
CatWalker's overall aesthetic is pretty smooth. Not only is he fluid the entire fight but his line as claiming to take care of LB comes off smoothly and sweetly.
(I couldn't see it romantically but I admit it was a very nice moment.)
Similarly Viperion is like that in Desperada.
"Ladybug brings enough luck for all of us ", a smooth but reassuring line showcasing his trust in LB.
(it's also similar to how Luka is Mari's shoulder to cry on in the season 3 finale..but that's not really about Viperion since he's Luka's super hero form so I'm not sure if it counts. If you want it to count then it counts if you don't then...I can't really do anything about it)
Lastly comes their initiative/decision making.
While CN already had a bit of this it shows much clearly in CatWalker. When he leads away the Cat akuma and tries to calm it. Also the point of his resourcefulness can be counted here.
Similarly, Viperion also takes initiatives. While that is a given with his power..it makes even more sense when you see the fact that he choose that CN's identity reveal was not worth the victory and reset time in Wishmaker. He could have just as easily let it go and allowed the evryone to know CN's identity after he willingly have it up. But Viprion didn't do that and reset time instead.
There are only two major differences I can think of.
Firstly, Cat Walker has a more fighter role than a Tactician role, thus granting him more screentime. In comparison, Viperion is meant to work more from the shadows.
Secondly, CatWalker is LB's equal and therefore will actually have a different dynamic with her in comparison to temporary heroes. Viperion on the other is not going to interact with her as much as he will listen to her as she is the team leader.
These differences though become very Small with how little screen time CatWalker got. Failing to give him any 3D-ness that would diffrentiate him from Viperion.
Essentially it feels like Viperion's personality was copy pasted into CatWalker and as good as declared to be LB's ideal type by Plagg.

Woman in Orange, Men in Black Miraculous Prompt of the Day
The French government has taken no official stance on the superhuman battles raging across Paris... but elements within said government are deeply uncomfortable with magical weapons of mass destruction being held by several unknown civilians, villains and so-called "heroes" alike.
The weapons themselves, they're comfortable with... under their control, instead.
A pair of intelligence agents analyzes patterns of Akuma appearances, social media activity, news footage and confidential reports, in an attempt to deduce who holds the Miraculous and where. One person of interest stands out; she is part of the increasingly infamous Akuma Class, she was exposed as a former host, she runs the primary tabloid newsblog about Miraculous-related events, she's been both hero and villain, and recent events suggest that she may have access to the most powerful of them all.
Late one night, a team swoops in on the Césaire household, catching all asleep and unaware. Their intentions are not to cause physical harm, which is good, as the family lies at their mercy... but the house is ransacked, a terrified Alya is swept away to unknown custody, and the Fox Miraculous is taken.
The next morning in school, the seat next to Marinette feels unbearably empty.
~----~
Marinette is absolutely beside herself with anxiety and terror, once she touches base with Alya's family. If this new danger knows enough about the Miraculous to target Alya specifically, she worries, there's no telling how much more that they may know or suspect. Alya is brave, of course, but who knows what they might make her tell them, whoever they are? Is Nino next... or other classmates who've had a Miraculous and were exposed by Miracle Queen... or her?
And worse yet, whoever took Alya now has the Fox, and its power of illusion. Is there anyone or anything in Paris that she can now trust at face value?
Including Chat Noir?
~----~
That afternoon, Marinette uses the Horse Miraculous to open a portal and stash the Miracle Box in the most remote location that she can think of... including Ladybug's earrings.
"I really don't like being parted from you," Tikki worries. "Or being left alone!"
"And if they raid my house, whoever they are, like they raided Alya's?" counters Marinette. "We have to sleep sometime. I can't count on being awake and aware enough to transform in time. I can use this to portal back and get you all when the coast is clearer... once I think of how I'm ever going to get out of this mess... and I have to hope that they won't see plain eyeglasses in my room and think 'that's the Horse' if they do show up."
"Be CAREFUL. We don't know what we're up against," shudders Tikki.
"I will."
~----~
That evening, the news report mentions the appearance of another superpowered person in Paris; apparently a teleporter, this feminine form appeared next to several prominent landmarks around town, then disappeared soon after.
Come and find me, Chat Noir, Marinette worries, pleading with her partner from afar. Come and find me before they find me... or they find YOU.

Partners
Chat Noir deflected the akumatized villain's attack as Ryuko flanked them.

He grinned as his girlfriend bonked the guy on the back of his head. She must really not appreciate having their date interrupted.

The large akumatized villain fell, setting off car alarms as the ground shook.

Ryuko leapt back to his side, sword at the ready. "Any word from Ladybug?"

Chat Noir leaned closer. "None yet, Dragon-ette."

Ryuko raised an eyebrow.

"No? I'll keep working on it."

The akumatized villain rose with a roar. His breath attack sending cars flying.

Chat Noir grabbed Ryuko and used his staff to propel them to the rooftops, out of harm's way. "Yuck! Do you think he needs a breath mint?"

"Perhaps he should consider brushing his teeth every now and then," Ryuko supplied.

"I HEARD THAT!" The supervillain grabbed a nearby car and threw it at them.

Chat Noir extended his staff, using the roof as a brace to knock the car back down. He casually leaned on his staff. "But how is he going to get them clean without water?"

Ryuko grinned. "Water Dragon!" She flowed down the building, towards the indestructible supervillain.

"Hey!" Chat Noir yelled. "You know that 'blockhead' isn't meant to be literal, right?"

"YOU WON'T ESCAPE ME YOU MANGY STRAY!" The villain roared while launching another vehicle at Chat Noir.

Evading easily Chat Noir continued taunting the brute to keep his eyes off Ryuko. "Escape? Please, have you ever tried to catch a cat that didn't want to be caught? Fair warning: We have claws!"

"MY SKIN IS INDESTRUCTIBLE!" The brute bragged, lifting some more non-aerodynamic projectiles.

"Yeah," Chat Noir agreed, doing a handstand. "Bet it makes you really heavy, huh?"

"WHAT?"

The asphalt beneath the villain's feet cracked suddenly before a torrent of water burst out of the ground. The supervillain fell through the collapsing street and into Ryuko's Water Dragon.

The underground tunnel was completed flooded. And the akumatized villain was indeed too heavy to swim.

Ryuko reformed from part of the water, a deadpan look on her face. "I need a shower."

"But you just took a bath!" Chat Noir mock protested, gesturing at the thrashing liquid. "Incidentally, you don't think a diamond statue can drown, do you?"

"AAHHHHHH!" Water exploded upward as the supervillain's breath attack pushed it away from him. He grabbed the edge of the hole to pull himself up. "I'LL GET YOU LIZARD!"

"Is it because we forgot the bubbles?" Chat Noir asked as they were soaked by the water falling back down. "Ugh, now I need a bath!"

"HERE! LET ME DRY YOU OFF!"

This time Ryuko grabbed him and carried him to the relative safety of an alley. The breath attack didn't have any more cars to throw at them but it was still plenty dangerous by itself.

"Any ideas?" Chat Noir inquired.

"He is indestructible, correct?"

"That's what he keeps shouting."

"Then perhaps we should take him at his word," Ryuko suggested.

"I don't follow," Chat Noir admitted.

"Lightning Dragon!"

"Ohhh! I get it n- Wait, no, Kagami!"

Ryuko bolted out of the alley and straight for the akumatized supervillain. The wind from his breath imperceptible to her lightning form. She struck him square in the head, knocking him into a wall which collapsed on impact.

Chat Noir landed beside her as she reformed. "I thought we agreed no Zeus-ing the supervillains?"

"No, Ladybug stated she didn't want me to use Lightning Dragon directly on the villains and I replied that I understood her concerns. I never actually agreed."

Chat Noir opened his mouth and lifted a finger before letting his hand fall. "Drat. I totally should've thought of that!"

They were interrupted by the villain's roaring. The diamond skinned being lifted both fists and slammed them down. The street cracked with a quake, knocking both heroes off their feet.

Chat Noir sat up with a groan. "Ooh, yeah, definitely gonna feel that in the morning!"

Ryuko pushed some rubble off herself. She glared at the supervillain. "Perhaps if I dropped him from a really great height!"

"But I if you use your Wind Dragon you'll have to recharge and superhero-ing is a team sport!" Chat Noir protested as he dusted himself off.

Ryuko casually slashed a peice of wall sailing their way. "Do you have an alternative?"

Oh, Chat Noir really didn't want to suggest this! "Well, we could, you know, since he's 'indestructible' and all, maybe, use my, um." He pointed at his ring.

Ryuko blinked for a moment to make sure she was understanding him correctly. "Won't that mean you'll have to recharge if it doesn't work?"

Chat Noir tackled her out of the way of more building. "Hey, every time we team up I'm always the one getting captured or almost captured! If anyone's getting the short end of the stick it'll probably be me!"

"I was captured!" Ryuko reminded him.

"Getting caught on purpose as part of the plan doesn't count!" Chat Noir pointed out.

Ryuko narrowed her eyes at him but nodded her consent. Chat Noir propelled himself into the air as she kept the villain's attention.

"You know, for a diamond your really not that impressive!"

"I'LL SHOW YOU IMPRESSIVE!"

The breath attack provided the perfect cover for sneaking up behind the big brute. As he stood still and his hearing was full of that howling wind.

"Cataclysm!" That got his attention. "Do me a favor?" Chat Noir asked as the akumatized victim turned around. "Don't die." And pressed his hand to the man's stomach.

There was a painful breaking sound as cracks appeared along the person's diamond form. The largest bisecting the villain almost perfectly in half. His form shattered as though made of glass.

"NOOOO!"

Revealing a rather small man amid the shards.

Chat Noir breathed a sigh of relief. "A golem type akuma. Thought so."

"MY BEAUTIFUL, FLAWLESS BODY! YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS YOU-"

Before he could finish the man and his diamond shards were engulfed in dark smoke. In his place was a boy a few years older than Chat Noir.

"I guess Ladybug found the akuma," Chat Noir observed as ladybugs swirled around them.

"Was all that really necessary?" Ladybug asked.

"You were tardy. We had to contain an akuma that had already knocked down buildings," Ryuko reminded her.

"I had to look all over a lycee to find his akumatized object! Including the-" She shuddered. "Boys' locker room!"

Chat Noir couldn't help a chuckle from escaping his lips.

Ladybug sent an accusing glare at him.

"Hey, at least everything turned out alright!" Chat Noir pointed out.

"Yes, we did manage to prevent more widespread damage," Ryuko agreed.

Ladybug conceded the point with a nod. "Why was he upset enough to be akumatized anyway?"

At this Chat Noir coughed and rubbed the back of his neck.

"He was under the impression that in order to woo his crush he would have to be 'flawless'," Ryuko explained. "Chat Noir told him that if she was as incredible as he described then she wouldn't be impressed by such superficiality."

"That was really good of you Chat."

"Thanks, I try!" He smiled appreciatively as his ring began to beep frantically. "That's my cue! Later, ladies!"

"Does he seem odd to you?" Ladybug asked as they dropped into an alley.

"He is always odd," Kagami replied as she de-transformed. "It's what makes him an interesting companion."

"Hey, Kagami?"

"Yes, Adrien?"

"What made you notice me?" Adrien turned to look at his girlfriend as she paused in her stride.

"What brought this on?" Kagami wondered.

Adrien shrugged and looked down.

"... You were an honorable opponent," Kagami stated simply and resumed walking.

Adrien skipped to catch up. "It wasn't my fencing skills?"

"No, those are just a bonus," she replied. "... What made you notice me?"

Adrien gazed upward as he thought about it. "Your honesty. Or maybe your drive. I don't think it was one thing for me. Every day I learned something new about you and then, suddenly, I love you and I have no idea how." He smiled.

Kagami walked a bit ahead of him to hide her blush. A shy smile making itself known on her lips. "I love you, too"

Gale's Top Ten: Worst ML Characters
Here are the rules:
1. This is based SOLELY on my view of the CANON Interpretation of the character. I am not doing anything based on Fanon Headcanons or Character fandoms. (If that were the case, Certain Characters would be MUCH higher.)
1.5: (I am not counting the comics I am going based SOLELY on what has been shown on the show)
2. Worst in the definition is the following criteria. A character I considers 1. Objectively bad, 2. Personally Bad, 3. Conceptually Bad. or a combination of the 3.
2.5. Something that is personally bad will not off worse for me then something Conceptually or Objectively bad. But the more a character hits these points. The Higher they will be.
3. They need to have to appear AT LEAST Once AND have dialogue in that appearance.
4. This list is MY OPINION, and nothing else. So if you don't like it or Agree, that is fine _______________________________________________________________________
10. Otis Cesaire/ Animan
Tumblr media
Honestly he isnt bad as a character in most regards. I just CANT stand Animan. The akuma is such a LAZY idea. Like they didnt really give him a unique form and the reason he was akumatized was just so stupid. The reason he is so low is because he is fine in his other appearances. But I cant overlook how cartoonishly dumb his motivation for being akumatized was.
9. Vincent Aza/ Pixelator
Tumblr media
I am going to level with ya, His civilian self REALLY skeeves me out. His akuma is kind of cool. but the dude is a creepy stalker and his appearance was just so cringe. Aside from that his akuma and his design are fine. I have no complaints about the episode outside of his character.
8.André Glacier
Tumblr media
Honestly, the idea of him is good on paper, but any man that puts Orange and Mint ice cream together and calls that a good flavor combination is actually a sociopath that is ready to murder. Also, his akumatization reason was dumb. I also just find him kind of... bleh in most cases. Nothing really awful but just kind of irritating.
7. Zoé Lee/Vesperia
Tumblr media
I should Clarify. i dont hate her specifically. I just Hate what she represents. She is a cheap cop out. She was designed to be the new bee hero and its clear that she was created by Thomas purely out of spite. Im not a Chloé stan, nor am I someone that cares if Chloé gets a redemption or not. But Sole Crusher and Queen Banana (the two episodes Zoé starred in) had this air of manipulation to it that just seemed so... distasteful. Chloé (who was always mean) was made out to be infinitely meaner coming off as cartoonishly evil. And then there is Zoé who we are TOLD is sweet, and kind and everything Chloé isnt. And thats the real problem. Zoé is a Character that we are TOLD to like. And that rubs me the wrong way. I want better for her, and I hope later seasons help expand on her more.
6. Luka Couffaine/ Viperion
Tumblr media
As time goes on, I find my opinion on Luka shifting. But now I think I found a definitive Opinion on the character. He is basically the Zoé of season 2. Luka is the other love rival. In comparison to Kagami, who was developed and put as a strong character, Luka was sort of... put in and we are told is nice and good. Truthfully we dont really get much development for him until the first episode of SEASON 4. Up until that point we only had. 1. Is nice. 2. Is in Band. 3. Likes Marinette. 4. Is Juleka's brother. The problem is also with the framing we see him in. We dont get a perspective of him from Adrien's side. We only really see him from Marinette's Lens. And really most of Luka is just told by others. We are TOLD that Marinette likes him from like 5 different people before she says so. We are told that they are good together. Really its just a series of Tell and not show (Until season 4, and even then Gang of Secrets still does it). I will say he is at least more developed then Zoé, but for the most part their placement on the list is pretty much interchangeable. Though the deciding factor is just... the look. Zoé is nicer to look at aesthetically. So thats why she is lower on the list. Though if i included the fandom shenanigans involving him (he would number one because of just how awful the toxic stans were/ are)
5.Tikki
Tumblr media
Tikki is my least favorite Kwami.
She is not really a great partner, she always seems to be the one that points out what Marinette is doing is wrong, the problem is, that most of the time, Marinette isn't doing something actually wrong. Tikki is the Lesson dealer in most episodes and the lessons usually don't make sense or are Obvious. Tikki can be caring, but she is just not that great at being an emotional support for Marinette. Which is ironic because you would think Plagg would be the worse partner Kwami, but he isn't. I hoped Season 4 would help fix tikki. But really it only showed how much BETTER the other Kwami are and she seems even LESS competent then before. Plus Tikki is so inconsistent that at times i am not even sure what she wants.
4. Nathalie Sancoeur/ Mayura
Tumblr media
Now we are at the point when I personally dont like the characters. I never really like Nathalie at the beginning. She just seemed like a boring assistant Character, at least in the first half of season 1. Origins made me see her in a slightly more positive light, and when I heard rumors that she was going to become a villain, I was stoked. But then... her character dropped. Her love for Gabriel seems almost out of nowhere and her care for Adrien is sadly dismissed whenever Gabriel/Hawkmoth needs her. Her character could be so easily improved, but she was quickly made the sickly sacrificial lamb. There is so much potential with Nathalie and it makes me Angry how poorly done her character is. I don't hate her concept, I just hate the execution. Though to her credit, she is clearly the smarter of the two. And if she was the main villain she likely would have been a MUCH bigger threat.
3. Thomas Astruc:
Tumblr media
I hate shameless Self inserts. There is an art to it. And really this was not a good one. I know it will be a bad episode the moment he shows up and has a prominent role. It just screams ego to me and it is greatly irritating.
2. Gabriel Agreste/Hawkmoth/Shadowmoth
Tumblr media
I am a guy that LOVES villain character. Give me malicious villains, give me corny villains, give me theatrical villains, sympathetic villains, tragic villains, diabolical villains, genius villains, psychotic villains, silly villains, any sort of villain that is over the top. With Hawkmoth he just doesn't hit the notes right, they try to make him sympathetic, but then they make him so theatrical that he enjoys evil, they try to make him strategic in a few episodes but then have him akumatize pigeon man 72 times! His akuma can escape his notice and go rogue. His characterization is not consistent or defined, the main problem is, he isn't crazy enough to pull off the uncertainty. He is too sane to be insane, to incompetent to be threatening, too manipulative to be sympathetic. Hawkmoth suffers from being too much or not enough of a villain trait that makes him so middling. The only thing consistent is that he is a really s*** parent. I will say he is somewhat improving in this season but honestly not enough for me to say I enjoy his presence. We needed a new main villain 2 seasons ago.
1. Su Han
Tumblr media
I hate everything he represents. He is the Grand master of the order of Guardians. He is shown to be an arrogant D-bag. He is unnecessarily disrespectful when talking to Fu. He is a coward, and he demands respect that is unearned. I use to really hate fu in the past, He use to be my least favorite character, Especially with the episode Feast. But after meeting Su Han, I got it. NO WONDER FU MADE THOSE MISTAKES, THIS A**HOLE SUCKED! Child abuse, potential Kwami abuse. The guy was a dill weed that him and his advanced order lost to a 4 FOOT BLUE DOG. His appearance RUINED the mystic of the order of guardians. Sure he has a cool fighting style and techniques, but that doesnt change the fact that the order of the guardians were incompetent idiots that couldnt handle 1 dog. Ladybug and Chat noir shoud have not cast miraculous healing, and left the order in the past where it BELONGED.
