he's trying his very best to stay calm.
He can see that your uncomfortable so he tries to get to you as fast as possible
Honestly his reaction depends on his mood
if he's in a bad mood, or is maybe a little less confident with himself, he is quick to take his place beside you, his arm wrapping around your waist.
he chats with you, completely ignoring the person who was trying to flirt with you
if the person finds the courage to speak up, he sends them a death glare. seriously, if looks could kill this person would be 6 feet under
showers you in affection afterwards, and pouts if you don't return his affection :(
if he's in a good mood, and confident (most of the time), then he strides over to you, pressing a kiss to your cheek before politely telling the person bothering you that the two of you are together and you are NOT looking for a partner
kind of a gentlemen about it ngl
Even with that silver mask adoring your face, Akira could still tell that it was you. You stood out to him, even in a room full of masked faces.
The two of you had been invited to a masquerade ball, and you were both incredibly excited to go, to the point that the two of you decided to match outfits.
you looked so gorgeous, that even the person beside you seemed in awe.
the person beside you....
at first, he continues on with what he was doing, gathering drinks for the two of you. He trusts you...its not like you would prefer this girl over him, right?
the slight moment of hesitance has him glancing back over to you, only to see your awkward smile, and the women pressed up against you, with her arms wrapped around your arm.
that's all it takes for Akira swiftly walk over to your side, eyeing the girl who was chatting up a storm with you, before gently yanking the arms of the women off you. he turns to you, pressing a kiss to your cheek. You giggle, pressing one to his cheek in return.
the women beside you cleared her throat, obviously embarrassed. Akira raised an eyebrow, daring them to say anything. The women gulped, before turning away, face burning.
Akira turned back to you, flashing you his charming smile and enjoying your attention that was now only on him.
Goro Akechi~
his response also depends on his mood, and also which version of him your dealing with (before or after 3rd semester)
if your with Akechi before 3rd Semester, then he puts up his princely facade and deals with it in a responsible manner, cheerfully letting the person know that you have a partner.
appears seemingly out of no where
his charming smile puts them at ease
does tell them off in a condescending way about touching things that don't belong to them
not a big fan of PDA, but he will rest one of his hands on your lower back, and occasionally he will lean down to press a kiss to your cheek or whisper something in your ear
3rd semester Akechi is a whole other deal
even more condescending and patronizing
he makes them feel TERRIBLE, and then smiles about it
acts the same way PDA wise, but allows a smirk to rest on his face, and is kind of a tease, whispering about how adorable you are
either way, he stops this person before they can get close enough to touch you
Akechi finally had a break from work.
it had been weeks since the two of you were able to truly spend time together, so he figured a date between the two of you would be perfect. he let you choose.
thats how the two of you ended up at an outdoor ice rink, his brown jacket wrapped tightly around him as the cold nipped at him.
His scarf was wrapped around your neck, and he couldn't help but think how cute you looked, the scarf nestled up against your soft pink cheeks.
he looked away for a second, going over to put on his own skates, before standing back up and searching around to find you. it didn't take long.
You were skating slowly beside another girl, and Akechi tried to think nothing of it, until he saw a flirty smirk cross the girls face, and saw them slowly moving closer to you.
he got over as fast as he could without looking weird, coming up between you and the other girl just before she could come to close to you. he turned to the girl, asking if the two of you new each other. when you said no, he introduced himself, stating quite clearly that the two of you were together. she got the hint, and made up a quick excuse before leaving the two of you alone.
he reached for your hand, and the smiled. Finally the two of you could have some alone time.

Okay I'm genuinely in love with this one. I actually had it as my PC wallpaper for a while but it turned out to be too lively and bright for my AuDHD ass (+ my dad was staring weird at my PC and I felt like V-kun was silently judging my SMT IV playtrough hahaha) so I had to change it 😭😭 Anyways the quality of this one? Can we have some smakechi (Well asumi rn) in the mentor mob au?
is smakechi "small akechi" lmao to tell you i was confused!
he is there in the au, he was in the first meeting, or are you asking for hcs?
like said, after finding out that reigen was not an esper a few weeks after meeting, he was more condescending towards him, or at least he ranted non-stop about the history and lack of success of famous conmen and psychic frauds. from then on out, anytime any of s&s acquaintances claimed to be an esper, he would ask for proof, and his mood would instantly turn into childish glee when proven.
not as much as saiki, but akechi does have respect for mob, and talks his ear off especially, when together. he's good at reading his emotions (tho its easier now post-canon) and sometimes when mob is lost on how to express himself (to someone who isnt saiki, cuz he can read him easily-- with his mind) he will over-explain it for him, and probably make him feel mildly awkward/nervous. ("thats how i was feeling? oh i guess i was kind of frustrated... huh..")
akechi doesnt visit nearly as often as saiki, so its not like hes quite comfortable with the staff, but whenever he gets saiki to talk in class, saiki would usually talk about them, so he does learn and know about s&s without interacting with any of them.

In regards of Riddle's mother and what you said in your reply. What if she does have a palace? It could take place shortly after Riddle's own OB (that you said could take place between book 5 and 6). Maybe the PT decided that they should try to see Riddle's mom in the metaverse. Thinking that she will simply have a shadow (though they have a feeling she has more than that).
And they're right. She couldn't be found in the metaverse, for she has her own palace. What is it like? Maybe a twisted version of the Queen of Hearts' palace? Which form has been a disturbing mix between the beautiful palace with a twisted hospital. Here Riddle have to fight himself to wholly accept the truth about his mother's thought and 'affection' to him all these years. While Ren and the other's PT members (would be great tho, if they already have Akechi here) have to see the sadness and prison that is Riddle's own life. For even with Ren's help and friendship all these years, it could only soothe so much of Riddle's pain, that he has to endure and live with from the moment he taste that sweet, sweet strawberry tart.

Well I did have some ideas for it, but I always find it interesting to explore new themes for it
But first... We would have to put in place the rooster. If we want to have Aketchi on the team, we have to take account of the fact that Riddle's supposed ob would be in between chap 5-6, therefore in early February. Most likely we can close in the dates in between Sae's palace and this ob if we say Riddle's ob was during VDC camp.
That means that Ren would basically start his 2nd year during Riddle's end of the 1st and finish it while Riddle had his 2nd year. (man... Japanese-European systems are hard to pin-point :v)
For Riddle's bonus for the team, one thing he had would be to force the targets into prolonging the deadline, hence the palaces periods get longer, the confessions/change of hearts are going later and later until Sae's palace falls in February, along the VDC, hence the ob happens during that infilrtation period.
I just imagine Trey being a main tipping point for the ob, so I just see after the PTs get the news about it, they would just bang at Trey's door with guns and everything. Like sure cake man.. You have exactly 15 seconds if Haru is in a good mood. :3
As for Mrs rosehearts palace, Aketchi might be the one to draw a conclusion that maybe they should look into Riddle's home life a bit. Cue, trying his mom's name.
Riddle's absolutely horrified to find out his mother, of all people, had a palace. And quite an extreme one.
I would take that theme of the queen of hearts palace, but make it more morbid. Like a group of towers that immiate the feel of a palace, all representing different things such as money, fame, knowledge, etc.
And the main gig of this palace would be that it was a maze. The more you get lost from the main towers, the more morbid it looks, with more vicious shadows. The treasure would be at the top of the tallest tower and manifests as a flag, symbolising just who runs the place.
And a few notable cognitions would be trey and Che'nya. Seen as some bulglars, while her cognition of Riddle would be a perfect little doll prince, the difference being that he had a crack on his face from. Where roses grew out. That crack was representing Riddle leaving for NRC and being out of his mother's full influence.
This of course would alter a bit Riddle's ability of prolonging the deadline, therefore this palace, just like Shido's, will have much shorter deadline.
Also Ren would have a lot of influence there, as he was Riddle's first official friend and even more than just best friend at how close they grew. So during this palace period, Riddle as a confidant will grow a lot, but even so, his original persona(as in the last post I mentioned that for the metaverse to act as a bridge, Ren and Riddle are both wildcards, which imprints tied together via metaverse) does evolve into it's 2nd form only when he faces his mother's shadow and steals the treasure.
Another thing would be that after the overBlot, Trey and the others at NRC will try to mend things, only to notice that Riddle hanged out and talked a lot with other people, whom he apparently befriended since some time. Welp... Another jab in the pride I guess.
Also a thing that I forgot to talk about would be Riddle's own confidants and how they influence each other. Ryuji would teach him to loosen up a bit, Ann will help with fashion skills, Yusuke probably with art influence end expressing oneself, Makoto with standing up for something, Futaba mostly tech and some geek things and Haru might teach him gardening. Not sure about Aketchi or Kasumi(as we follow the royal version) tho. Unlike Ren's, Riddle's confidants take different tarot cards. For example, if Ryuji is the Chariot confidant for Ren, then for Riddle he is the Tower. :v
Although Riddle as Ren's confidant is marked by the 'Reflection' card, which is vice-versa, marking the fact that both are wildcards and also both had history together previous to the main adventure.

🎶 Do you listen to music while you write? What song have you been playing on loop lately?
ykno i Used To. but idk, smth flipped in my brain so i cant write on my computer anymore & HAVE to write on my phone (focus is way better) & music on the computer is natural background noise but on my phone it feels like more of a focus. so i just cant. plus if i listen to music i HAVE to have smth that matches the mood of the thing im currently writing, which can be very difficult to find. so i can just get into the headstate for writing better if im in a quiet, low-distractions room with just my phone before me. idk it's weird. during EDITING though, i do that on my computer still (moving words around feels more natural on la computadora, i guess) & music on computer is a Must. i like to listen to nice background music, which frequently ends up being psytrance lol bc there's just smth about that music that wraps around my brain so wonderfully & helps with the Concentration. but depending on the thing im doing i might do smth else, like how i listened to the album HOME by SIAMES over and over again while editing the first chapter of Summer Nights bc it just had that childhood nostalgia feeling that was Perfect for Childhood Nostalgia, The Fic. as for what ive been listening to more lately lol ive been listening to a lot of muse. unrelated to writing tho. i just enjoy their music lol.

hmmmmmmmmm. well i figure quite a few readers of discacc would claim it's a wild ride, but it's honestly pretty linear. less of a 'whats going to happen' and more 'how is it going to happen'. still enjoyable! but i wouldnt say it's a wild ride. but my magic prince au??????? lmfao now THAT is gonna be a wild ride. whenever i finally get the chance to write it. massive angst and drama and tragedy and plot twists and More. plus not being restricted to the timeline of the game means the plot will be a lot more variable than discacc (which is ultimately just a canon divergence fic, when you get down to it). *sighs longingly* someday i will be able to write my magic prince au...

hmmmm. honestly anytime i get to make akechi feel vulnerable and/or loved. he is So traumatized & it's difficult for him to trust anyone. so seeing him get Tastes of friendship and belonging is so, so good. also of course the akeshu lol. gotta love Their dynamic & the ways akira always makes goro second guess himself. it's so good.
😈 Has there been a point in a story where you did something just to be playfully mean to your readers?
hahahaha WELL. ive definitely more than once had a cliff hanger i purposefully put to fuck with people. bc that's very fun to do at times. only a few! im not typically the cliff hanger type. but Sometimes. it's fun to be like "ooOOoO what's gonna Happen?(emotional pain is what's gonna happen)". ive also been just plain mean many, many times, but i dont think i could count that as playful lol. times where i am Kind Of brutal towards goro. with even more to come <3 he's just such a great target lol. tho of course akira will have his time too heheh

She was let into the castle of Azuchi, where she slowly but surely became friends with everyone, the focus being on Masamune and Mitsuhide. When she learned about Mitsuhide's inability to taste, she and Masamune decided to work together to help him find it again. And that's how their love story happened, along with what happened in Mitsuhide's route.

I’m liking royal. The vibe is definitely different in some aspects like I was warned but I do enjoy a lot of the things that were added. I don’t think p5 would’ve felt the same if this was the first version I played bc the aesthetic and atmosphere of og was so grim and on point and royal is more fun and fan service-y but that’s not a bad thing. It’s just different

May I suggest find Silvy Artfulness on Tumblr? She's the author of "heaven has a road" and her tumblr is a lot of analysis and humor and good info and I feel like the two of you would get along well. (I don't have a Tumblr but my hobby is Friendship-Matchmaking)
after i received this ask i did check them out.
i've not read 'heaven has a road but no one walks it' yet, because it's about the yi city group and i've not been in the mood to read about them. (also while i appreciate xy as a character and villain, he's exactly the type of character that i knew people would just "*pant pant* afiojefjweiof" all over for his dastardliness and tragic backstory and it's a meta-thing of wanting avoid that that makes me avoid xy)
(idk how to explain it - it's the same way i feel about akechi from persona 5. that type of character. super sad backstory makes them do very bad things. it takes a very special fic to make me want to engage with those types of characters)
but it looks interesting. it's in my 'to read' list. i like their blog well enough to follow, and i saw A Map! (and then i clicked follow right after)

there was some artwork from someone on tublr..where they pointed out that he doesnt really talk outside the metaverse so--hes hyperverbal as joker and just near nonverbal as akiren
he stims ALL THE TIME. that phone thing, the pencil thing, the little tappy tap of his foot, pulling at his bangs when hes embarrassed/smug. someone get him a fidget spinner. he’ll prob learn to do tricks with it
he probably sucks at focusing in class, like i know its just the game design but hes always surprised out of his daily “star out the window at the nearby office building” when his teachers ask him questions
mona mentions when the pt is at Wilton for the first time (after they run into shido) that joker eats like shit, and that could have multiple causes at the start of the story of course, but when i first played i thought that joker was a picky eater and that the variety (and amount of food) at the buffet would be an Ordeal...
tho mona makes that comment bc joker looked pale after having a little ptsd moment from shidos voice, but i didnt know that the first time i played
maybe when joker makes a face at ryuji putting so much ginger in his gyudon? joker probably does not like pickled ginger lol
his favortive foods are all spicy, which is why the curry he makes for his friends is always ‘overly spicy’, and why kasumi makes him a curry bento and joker kept going “...?” .... “....?!”
overly reflective glasses have been a great plus for him bc now he never has to make real eye contact every again!

bouncey legs, swingin arms, twirlly skirt, little somersaults! when will she stop? never!

he is still nice to people because he doesnt see a reason not to be, but also he has very limited energy so only his senpai and old people get his most polite-kindnesses
cannot describe feelings for the life of him. the team wont know hes injured or sick until hes passed out
everything is too loud, time to drown it out with my loud ass music
rocking and chewing stims, ryoji is the first person to point him out for these subtle stims (not accusingly of course, just general pure curiosity and love for the uniqueness of humanity)

Hinata Hyuga (Naruto): First character I ever stanned (before i even knew what stanning was) and she still holds a precious place in my heart after all these years despite canon doing her so fucking dirty 😭 I really sympathized with her struggle with anxiety and failing to live up to family expectations
Goro Akechi (Persona 5): I have a hard time putting into words my feelings about Akechi but I really empathize with his desire to both be recognized by his father and want revenge on him and the frustration of bottling up all your negative feelings behind a mask. Akechi is a really cathartic character for me (especially in Royal) because by the end he can bare his true self (or at least a part of it) and still be accepted by the person who matters to him (Joker).
Arthur Boyle (Fire Force): Dumb of ass nerd who copes with his abandonment issues with extreme escapist fantasies = #relatable
Crona (Soul Eater): Their character hit me so much harder during my rewatch of Soul Eater ;w;
Yuri Lowell (Tales of Vesperia): I replayed TOV 3 times last year and it really made me realize how similar Yuri and I are. We both sought to join law enforcement hoping to change things only to get disillusioned, then we suffered from a lack of purpose and then we turned to a more "radical" sense of justice. For "legal purposes" I will point out that I wouldn't kill people like Yuri does BUT he makes an excellent point about the failures of the legal system.
Tyki Mikk (D.Gray-Man): Murder himbo who has no idea what's going on and just wants to have fun? #mood

GOD okay. ok ok ok ok ive had a few concepts of a futuristic violence and fancy suits inspired futago au where shido as a hyper rich capitalist dies and futaba inherits everything so goro goes to get her with no ulterior motives whatsoever :) and naturally everything goes to shit bc he was shidos hitman etc etc and like. the reveal where it comes out that he was taking her to try and get the inheritance is one i thought abt a LOT........... but im never going to write this au so uh. u kno.
slightly unhinged goro + freaked out but trying futaba is a fun dynamic. i really like these two together can u tell (looks at pef)

“Of course not,” Shuu said, tilting his head up with a sniff. Nazuna’s mask was resting on the side of his head, red eyes watching Shuu from beneath delicate blond eyelashes. “The only thing of worth in this place is you.”
Nazuna laughed at that. The trees left the light falling on him like stardust, gold dappling the lines of his jaw. “You’re so ridiculous.”

A splash of water; Shuu yelped and tilted back on instinct, flailing as he tipped over. HM i think atmosphere is where im strongest. in terms of like? conveying the mood and tone of the scene and the characters emotions thru small things.......... almo has definitely made comments to this effect before so i think so WWWWWW

realtalk pef is big and popular enough that i Know there are ppl missing my intentions which is.......... odd. i dont necessarily mind but its still weird. actually ive had this happen on non pef things but it’s still weird u kno. pef is just the most visible one wwwwww
i think the biggest surprise is that................. i don’t like futago half-sibs theory GHLKSDHGLKDHG i kno its p popular in futaba+goro fan circles but like. its so boring to me. adds nothing to their dynamic. so much of ftb’s journey is learning to love her New family (ren n sojiro) and having her suddenly Forgive Akechi for Being Her Half Sib is so weird to me. i think there’s potential to explore the concept in an interesting manner tbh (poitns at a certain doc i got) but like. 99% of the time i dont like it
19. Is there something you always find yourself repeating in your writing? (favourite verb, something you describe ‘too often’, trope you can’t get enough of?)
god sometimes almond makes me ctrl+f words that they think pop up in pef and theyre always right. it kills me a little bit. goro sighs a lot. goro bites back sighs a lot. i try to pass some of the things off as stylistic choices but sometimes im just tired
in terms of tropes tho i have a memory loss au for like. every ship ive ever liked. sometimes multiple. im just too embarrassed to ever post but u kno
