Oc introduction!
Hello, hello tumblr, it's been.. quite a while. My absence had it's reasons though. Now that I'm back, I'll be keeping my promise and introducing my ocs slowly!
Since my first blog was centered around Demon Slayer, I thought it would only be fitting for me to introduce my oc from that fandom- along with the differences in the DS AU that accompanies her.
So, my dear readers, I'd love for you all to meet Akasuki Fuji!
Tumblr media
(Yes, the art was made by yours truly)
⋯☀⋯☀⋯☀⋯☀⋯☀⋯☀⋯☀⋯☀⋯☀⋯☀⋯☀⋯☀⋯☀⋯☀⋯☀⋯☀⋯☀⋯☀
I will be answering any questions about her, so feel free to send in any curiosities you may have!
To start off though, here are some basic details about her:
Name: Akasuki Fuji (shocking, huh?).
Age: 22 years old.
Title/ rank: Frost Hashira, title held for 2 years.
Breathing style: Frost breathing - 9 forms.
⋯☀⋯☀⋯☀⋯☀⋯☀⋯☀⋯☀⋯☀⋯☀⋯☀⋯☀⋯☀⋯☀⋯☀⋯☀⋯☀⋯☀⋯☀
A few fun facts, perhaps to spark some curiosity..
Her mother is half demon, making her one fourth demon.
After running away at the age of 14, she lost all contact with her family.
Curiously enough, her blood seems to speed up recovery time for humans if ingested, while having an opposite effect on demons.

a little something for my newest project, falling. content warning for suicide ideation.
Akasuki has always loved spring. That's what she's told herself. In reality, it reminds her of the one thing in this world that she cannot do, that she isn't capable of doing. It's an open wound that the warmer months always rub salt into, but especially spring. After months of cold and snow, new growth breaks through the frozen soil and plants begin to grow once more, beginning to bring color back to the world, beginning their song of life to her.
Sighing, she looks into the shimmering river below her. Reflections of newly budding cherry blossoms stare back at her, a taunting voice in the song they sing, in a song seemingly only she can hear. Along with those wretched and beautiful blossoms, a pair of dark eyes are watching her, eyes that are nothing but shadows these days, eyes that she no longer recognizes as her own.
What happened to the hope, the light that used to shine in them? What happened to the girl she used to be, one with a smile for all that reflected in those very eyes?
What caused the time of war to turn to fond memories while this peaceful time wreaks havoc on her?
Leaning further against the wall of the bridge, she stretches to reach for the surface despite knowing it is too far for her to reach; the tips of her fingers are still far enough away that a young tree could fit between them and the water's surface.
What if she fell at this moment? The thought flies through her mind and she can't help but catch sight and ponder on it. The icy mountain water would embrace her with open arms; it would numb any pain she felt from the impact, it would numb any pain she felt at all. Would she even want to leave its arms and go toward the warmth and safety of land?
Without answering the question she already knows her answer.

“Honestly, I wasn’t expecting any women to be involved with the Akasuki... But it is a rather- pleasant surprise.” She answered. “I’ll be frank and get to the point. Certain circles are growing tense with your presence around, but I was sent here to investigate the matter.” She explained.

kahoot || irl!wilbur x reader
Tumblr media
note: based off this thread with the lovely @b3l0v3ds i wanted to write a quick drabble- this is kinda a highschool/college!au i just don’t know which :3
if you dont know what a kahoot is, its a competitive trivia game, where the whole class sees the names of the players
gender/pronouns: not mentioned
not edited
Tumblr media
you tapped your foot slowly, the voices of your classmates and snippets of conversation buzzed around you. everyone was antsy, waiting for the kahoot to be set up. the purple pin screen beamed brightly from your phone, awaiting for the pads of your fingers to make contact.
from besides you, wilbur observed you blankly stare at your phone. smirking lightly, he reaches over and taps on your desk, gathering your attention.
turning your head to meet his eyes, you notice a mischievous sparkle in them.
“y/n do you want to make a little bet on this kahoot?” “.. what type of bet?” “if i win, you give me your number” “oh screw off i’m not doing that- who knows what kind of cursed images you’d send me”
wilbur feigned hurt, letting out a dramatic audible gasp. he had been trying to get your number for weeks, relentlessly trying multiple methods.
you focused your eyes back onto the large screen where the kahoot pin had been released, forcing the repression of the nervous feelings in your stomach once more.
frankly, you had been avoiding giving wilbur your number so you didn’t impulsively confess to him over text over another late night rendezvous. late nights were hard to remember and often left you more confused and without answers.
as you pushed the pin and saw your name on the screen, you noticed someone enter their name in 10 numbers.
that looks suspiciously like a,,,
you could feel the burning gaze of wilbur, there was no doubt his face was adorning a sneaky smirk.
“wilbur do not tell me you just-” “look! i’m getting so many texts, which one is yours?” “idiot. you’ve been watching me, none of those are mine!”
wilbur’s lips formed into a out, whining out his next response. his screen flashed a flood of incoming messages, no doubt one of the many girls who had a crush on him.
“come onnn, just text my number!” “you don’t need mine- look how many you’ve gotten already.” “but they’re not yours.”
you felt your facade crack, his sweet tone and pout made your heart melt. with a dramatic huff you quickly type the number into messages, sending a short “hi it’s y/n.”
“there- happy now?” “finally!”
your fake anger dissipates, laughing lightly as wilbur punches his fist in the air in triumph. the only thing that clouded your thoughts was how smooth he was and his strong perseverance, you had to admire him for it.

Demon Slayer: The Nature Hashira (Part 5)
See this page for more parts.
Notes: Kana is pronounced (Kon - uh). This story is purely about my Demon Slayer OC(Own Character).
Warnings: Death, Demons eating humans, killing, cursing
—- —- —- —-
“Sahi…? I’m Kana.” I smile at the blue man who stood before me. This man saved my life from a demon, and he has told me that he is also a demon.
When I came to, I found myself laying on a futon in a home. From what Sahi has told me, I was asleep for three weeks, and he took care of me during that time.
“So…demons eat people…? Is that why my home was attacked?” I asked the man, who sat in the corner of the home. Light shown through the cracks of the rundown, abandoned building. The corner was dark as he sat there to avoid the sun.
He nodded. “Right.”
“Then…why didn’t you eat me?” He didn’t respond for a while, silence taking over. “Thank you, sir, for saving my life.” I smile at him. Being asleep for three weeks, I felt energy coursing through my veins. No pain or fatigue. Have my wounds healed? Either way, I stood up from the futon, walking over to the man.
He flinched slightly but let me touch his bright colored hair. “You aren’t scared of me?” He asked.
I giggle, shaking my head. “I like your hair…It’s pink! How did it become like this?”
He stared at me with wide eyes. “...It changed after I became a demon…”
“So, you were human once? Why become a demon?” Resting my arm from the reach, I stare into his golden eyes.
He didn’t answer that, either. “Go get some sun. You are all healed now, so you should be fine to walk around.” He half demands. It sounded like he was annoyed, but I didn’t notice.
“Okay!”
— — — —
“Hmm? I’m sorry. I wasn’t paying attention.” I say, snapping back to reality. My ears caught my crows voice by my side just before my daydream ended.
The black bird whines, starting to get annoyed at my absence in life. Akasuki flops her wings to stay in the air. “Kana, are you alright? You suddenly stopped in the middle of the road and blanked out.” She says, worriedly.
“Oh? I did?” I look around at my surroundings. Sure enough, I was standing in the middle of the road, crowds of people walking past me. A lot of them gave me an odd look as I just stood there. I look down at my shaking hands. Probably from the random memory of my past. “Well…this isn’t good…”
“Should you go see the Insect Hashira?”
I turn towards the crow in shock. “I never even thought of that… Maybe I should.” It was a good idea, too. I wonder why that idea never popped into my mind. It could be because I was so stubborn to take care of it on my own. Nobody knows about my past but me, after all. Either way, if I didn’t go to someone for help, this could very well ruin my reputation as a Demon Slayer. As many times as I blacked out by doing daily activities, I’m surprised it never occurred during my missions. I could easily die by a Demon if that were to happen.
“Should what?”
I jump at the loud and familiar voice from behind me. Turning, I find Kyojuro standing there with his usual wide smile. He had his uniform on, just like me. I smiled up at my friend, relieved to see a familiar face.
“Flame Hashira! It is good to see you standing in my presence, healthy.” Akasuki caws respectfully. Kyojuro nods at her in acknowledgement. “Kana, I must be going. Please be careful.” Bowing once more, this time towards me, she flies off into the sky.
I turned back to my friend. “Kyojuro. It’s good to see you.”
“We saw each other yesterday!” He lets out a boisterous laugh. Seconds later, he had a serious expression, his fire eyes looking into my green ones. “Why was your crow so worried? Did something happen?”
I almost lied to him out of instinct. Saying that I’m perfectly fine. But I remembered that he knows about my nightmares, just not so much of what they are about. “Just my nightmares. They’ve been appearing more frequently. Akasuki suggested I talk to Shinobu about it.”
The tall man nods. “Hmm. A smart bird. I think that is a great idea!”
I nod. “Anyways, why are you here? Were you heading home?” I recognize the way he came from, the way I came in. I was heading towards his home, to be exact. It seems he wasn’t home.
“Have you not heard? There is an urgent meeting at the Master’s mansion!”
— — — —
The air around the Hashira group was tense when I approached them. All that has arrived so far are Giyu Tomioka the Water Hashira, Mitsuri Kanroji the Love Hashira, Gyomei Himejima the Stone Hashira, Muichiro Tokito the Mist Hashira, Uzui Tengen the Sound Hashira, and Shinobu Kocho the Insect Hashira. Kyojuro Rengoku the Flame Hashira has been right behind, since we walked together. Only two Hashira's are missing.
“Kana!” Mitsuri grasps my hands, holding them tightly. “It’s good to see you! You look lovely, as usual!”
I was flattered at her words, my cheeks growing warm. “Th-thanks, Mitsuri…I’m not that good looking.” Mitsuri is a good friend of mine, as well. Meeting her as she was training under Kyojuro was like a breath of fresh air. She was very friendly, giving me so many compliments to where I almost fainted.
“Wow! You’re so pretty!” Mitsuri grasps my hands at our first meeting. She wore a Demon Slayer uniform. Kyojuro sent me a letter, telling me of a student he was training and asked me to come and meet her.
I really did not expect to find a girl with pink and green hair. From what Kyojuro told me, she’s a very sweet person, but as strong as a gorilla like in the children’s stories. He explained how he wasn’t sure at first if he should train her, since she seems like the type of person to have trouble hurting people, much less Demons. But to his surprise, she’s very strong and willing to kill demons if it means to protect people.
“So, Flame Breathing for her?” I ask Kyojuro as we watch her train.
He shook his head. “Actually, she wishes to branch off from Flame Breathing and make her own!”
I look at him. “Branch off of it? I never thought of that…'' Of course, it has been heard of before. Tengen has made his own, Sound Breathing, and branched it off of Thunder Breathing. And I created my own, branching it off of all five main breaths. “Has she told you what kind of breathing it is?”
He smiled. “Yes! She calls it Love Breathing!”
“Doesn’t she look lovely, Rengoku?” She turns to the man who stood beside me.
My face exploded. “Ah! Mitsuri!” I call in shock. I then turned to my friend with a red face. “Kyo…! You don’t need to answer that…” I giggle nervously.
He gave a firm nod towards the pink haired girl, completely ignoring my pleading. “I think Kana is quite beautiful, yes!” He confirms. Embarrassment went sky high. I didn’t think Kyojuro thought of me like that. My heart fluttered.
Moving forward a bit more into the crowd, I take in the situation. On the way, Kyojuro explains that there is a boy who has been traveling with a demon and needs a trial for breaking the rules of the corp.
Let the trial…begin.
— — — —
“Ah, Kana.” Shinobu greets me, her eyes widening just a bit from surprise. “Everyone has been looking for you.” Meeting Shinobu was a fifty-fifty chance upon arriving at the Butterfly Estate. I planned on sneaking in and having a word with the boy who was on trial just the other day.
I scratched my cheek in nervousness. “Yeah…” I straighten my posture, admitting defeat from being caught. It was true, though. I’ve been hiding from everyone who was at the meeting. Whenever I saw a fellow Hashira nearby, memories of the meeting came crashing in. “Please don’t tell them you saw me.” I plead.
Shinobu may be a Hashira, but I trust her with my life. I haven’t spoken to her about the events that occurred. Even so, I believe she has no horrible feelings towards me. From the time we have spent together, we were like sisters, in a way. When I first arrived here, I knew her elder sister, Kanae, before she died. Kanae was a very kind woman. With her gone, and me being a year older than Shinobu, I made it a goal to watch over Shinobu for Kanae.
Despite me being a year older, Shinobu instantly acts far older than I am. She has taught me many things beyond what Tengen ever could. Because of that, I am grateful.
“So, you’re the adopted daughter of Uzui?” Shinobu greets. It has only been a year since being adopted by Tengen, and I got sick. Tengen, being the overprotective father he is, took me into the Butterfly Estate for them to take care of me while he couldn’t. It was really an excuse so he wouldn’t have to say how much he doesn’t know about parenting. “How unfortunate. You’d think he’d known to take care of you when you're sick.”
At this time, Shinobu was pretty straightforward. No fear, whatsoever, in showing her emotions and feelings. She didn’t care if it hurt others feelings, either.
“Oh, Shinobu, stop it.” Kanae giggles. “She is just a child. Besides, Uzui is a Hashira. He’s very busy with his work.”
Kanae was a gentle person. Never once have I seen her angry at anyone, nor her sister. She carried a smile almost all the time, unless she was too focused to do so.
“Hiding, I presume? You know, nothing will come of this if you keep this up.” She says, smiling lightly. “Especially if you refrain from talking to Tengen. He’s your father. He won’t understand unless you speak to him.” As smart as usual. Just from a glance, she can understand any situation, or someone's feelings. A resemblance to Kanae, for sure.
“I know, I know. I just…need some time…” I sigh, bowing deeply to her. “Please.” I hardly need any effort to ask her for help. Knowing her, she’d do whatever she could to lend me assistance.
A lighthearted giggle is what she gives me in response. “Of course, I won’t tell them. Just promise me you’ll talk to him.”
I look up at her, nodding. “I promise.” With that, she smiles and walks away, leaving me to my goal. Taking a deep breath, I slide the door open. I am met with a room with many beds lined up against the walls for injured people. My eyes sweeping over the room, they meet multiple young, injured Demon Slayers. In the group, I found the one person I was looking for.
A boy with red hair and magenta-colored eyes. There were two other boys in the room with him. One with yellow to orange hair, and another with some kind of boar head as a mask.
Smiling gently, I close the door behind me and walk up to the boy who I have just recently met at the meeting the other day. “Hello, Kamado.” I greet him. Taking the opportunity, I plant myself onto a chair next to his bed. I have to talk to him now, before any Hashira find me.
Tanjiro tenses up at my approach. “H-hello!” He responds kindly. “You are…the one who helped me!”
I chuckle, nodding. “Yes. My name is Kana Aya. It is nice to finally speak to you.”
This was the boy in the meeting who was on trial. He broke the corps rules by having a demon accompanied with him on his travels. The demon is his younger sister. He has claimed that she hasn’t eaten anyone in two years, and never will. All Hashira didn’t believe him, but I did. For good reasons, of course.
Tanjiro opens his mouth to speak, but the one with an animal mask jumps in. “Who are you?!”
His rudeness didn’t faze me, and I ignored the slight push to my shoulder from him shoving himself into the conversation. “Hello. I’m Kana, the Nature Hashira.”
“Nature Hashira?!” The yellow to orange haired boy yells. He’s a loud one, I see. “Wh-what?! What does that even mean?!” I almost covered my ears by his screeching.
“Zenitsu! Inosuke! Please stop! You’re being rude to Miss Aya!” Tanjiro tries to calm his friends, but to no avail. It took them a bit of time to finish their arguments. It was funny to watch them talk about me while I was sitting right next to them. The yellow haired boy, I’m assuming Zenitsu is his name, was yelling at Tanjiro for being the first to meet a beautiful woman like me. I blushed at his words, flattered, but also creeped out. The boar head, Inosuke, yelled at Tanjiro for not telling him about me. Or wondered if I was strong and would like to fight me. I tried really hard not to accept his challenge.
Long story short, Tanjiro told them how I met him. He was the key suspect for traveling with a demon, that being his sister, and the Hashira wished to kill them both for breaking the rules.
“As for me, Master…” I spoke aloud. It was my turn to tell them my answer. Whether I approved of the siblings, or disapproved, it was a difficult one to choose. A part of me wanted to disapprove, to be on Tengen’s side. The other part wanted to approve, despite Tengen’s anger and losing my friends. “I…approve of them being together.”
My heart broke, knowing I’d lose the family I gained in eight years. But deep down, I knew I made the right choice. Deep down, I knew Sahi was proud of me. And, for some reason, I had the feeling that I needed to protect this boy and his sister.
This boy, Tanjiro, reminded me so much of Sahi. His personality towards me, his kindness. His goal is to protect his younger sister. Although Sahi was a bit rough on the edges, he had those exact traits. Sahi protected me from other horrible demons. It’s my turn to protect others.
“I was surprised.” Tanjiro brought me back from my deep thoughts. I hum in question, looking up at him. “I…never expected you to be on my side…or any of the Hashira.” He mumbles.
Zenitsu turns to me. “Why did you approve of them? I thought all Demon Slayers hated Demons.”
A giggle bubbles up in my system, making the boys stare at me in confusion. My eyes drift downward, the floor suddenly being so interesting. As scared as I was to tell anybody, much less Tengen, it was easy for me to tell these three young boys. Tanjiro reminding me of Sahi could be the reason, but I’d like to think it’d help the boys understand why I’m on their side and to trust me. Even though I’ll be telling the other Hashira, the Master as well, eventually, it’ll take time for me to reveal my past. I just hope everyone will understand.
“I was friends with a demon long ago. Before I was a Demon Slayer.” I shuffle awkwardly in my seat. The boys were quiet to listen, so I continued. “That demon saved my life from another. And three years later…he died trying to protect me. That’s when I met Tengen-” I cleared my throat from the mistake, “Uzui. He came to my village and saved me.”
I left it at that, looking up to see their reactions. Zenitsu looked either terrified or confused, Tanjiro had tears in his eyes, and Inosuke looked rather bored.
“Is that big guy, with huge muscles, Uzui?” Tanjiro finally speaks, breaking the silence.
I nod with a short laugh. “Yes. That’s Uzui Tengen. He adopted me after saving my life.”
“That’s so scary! Why didn’t the demon eat you?!” Zenitsu grabs Tanjiro’s shoulders, shaking him violently as he stares at me. That gesture must’ve been for me, but turned it to his friend. I think he was being thoughtful to not hurt me in any way.
“Uh…” The three suddenly turned to me, interested in my answer to the boy's question. “I honestly don’t know. I think I remember asking him that, but he never answered.” They all sigh in disappointment, hoping for a more interesting answer.
Shaking my head, I remember to get back to business. “Anyways, I really came here to tell you something, Tanjiro. And meet you, of course.”
“Oh.” The red haired boy pushes Zenitsu away slightly, paying attention to me. “What is it?”
“I wanted to let you know that you can trust me. I’ve made it a goal to protect you and your sister, no matter what. And I’ll also be stopping by frequently to help you recover your strength.” I wink at him in a friendly gesture.
The boy almost went to tears again. From the way he was sitting on the bed, he bows down as deeply as he could. His forehead against his legs on top of the blanket. “Th-thank you so much! This really means a lot!”
I smile at them. “Hmm. Please keep my visit a secret. Shinobu already knows that I’m here, but everyone else doesn’t. Oh, and recover safely. Make sure to listen to Shinobu.” Waving goodbye, I sneak out the door and head off.
Sighing, I close the door behind me. I smile as I stare at the floor. I was so proud of myself to make this choice. Although there are many flaws to it, I will get over them and conquer those flaws. I count on every bit of strength and power I have to protect that boy and his sister.
For Sahi.
“Kana…”
Jumping at the familiar voice, I look up in shock. A man with scars all over his body stood there. His eyes were wider than usual, as if to be surprised.
“Sanemi.” I mumble.

Just Friends / Part 06 / Atsumu Miya
Tumblr media
Atsumu Miya’s POV
I sat next to Akasuki while stroking her hair.
It was calming her down for her mental break down.
“Y-You don’t have to stay, you know.” Akasuki said sobbing.
“I wouldn’t leave you in this state.” I said.
I continued stroking her hair, slowly calming her down.
She was starting to feel a little better.
Osamu Miya’s POV
“She isn’t answering her phone?” Kita asked desperately.
“No, she isn’t. Neither as Atsumu.” I answered.
Kita was a nervous wreck.
What was going on?
“We’re a little far away. Keep walking!” Kita yelled.
I stopped.
“Keep walking!” Kita yelled.
“Not until you tell me what is going on!” I yelled.
Kita sighed nervously.
Atsumu Miya’s POV
“I thought you liked me.” Akasuki said.
I looked at her and wondered what she was thinking.
“I’m sorry.” I said.
She stopped crying and looked at me.
“I’m sorry I’m not worth it.” Akasuki said sadly.
It felt horrible to make her feel like that.
“You’re worth it, Akasuki. We are just not meant to each other.” I said.
She sighed.
“I guess you’re right.” Akasuki said.
I took my arm and hugged again.
“I just wished I find someone like you.” Akasuki said.
I looked at her and giggled.
“Someone like me? You deserve someone better than me.” I said.
She smiled.
“I don’t see you the way you see yourself.” Akasuki murmured.
Osamu Miya’s POV
“W-Why didn’t you tell me?” I asked nervously.
Kita was against the wall, not knowing what to say.
“I didn’t know what to do.” Kita said nervously.
“It doesn’t matter.” I said.
He looked at me confused.
“We need to find her.” I said.
We both nodded and started to walk.
Atsumu Miya’s POV
“I see you as someone strong.” Akasuki said.
Someone strong?
“You have another concept of me.” I said.
Akasuki giggled.
“I see you as art.” Akasuki said.
We both looked at each other.
“I just like you, Atsumu Miya.” Akasuki said.
She grabbed her hand and crushed her lips with mine.
Everything went to fast that we didn’t hear the door open.
Y/N’s POV
“Atsumu?” I asked.
Both of them separate from each other.
“Y-Y/N.” Atsumu stutter.
They were kissing.
“Y/n.” Akasuki said.
They were kissing.
“I- I can explain.” Atsumu said.
After all this time.
“P-Please just listen.” Akasuki pleaded.
“Why?” I asked painfully.
Atsumu closed his eyes as he sighed.
“I- Is not what it looks like.” Akasuki said.
“I- Is not? You weren’t kissing Atsumu?” I asked.
Akasuki sighed painfully.
“Why?” I asked again.
Atsumu tried to get closer to me.
“Stay away from me!” I yelled.
He took a step back nervously.
“P-Please just listen.” Akasuki pleaded again.
I looked at her with tears in my eyes.
“What? What are you doing to say?” I asked painfully.
“We didn’t meant what happened, it just happened.” Akasuki said painfully.
How does that make it better?
How does that explains it all?
“T- That’s all you have to say?” I asked.
She stayed quiet.
“That’s all you have to say?!” I screamed.
“Y/n.” Atsumu said.
“No.” I said.
Atsumu tried to get closer again.
“Stay away from me!” I screamed.
This wasn’t happening...
This couldn’t be happening.
Not my best friend...
Not him...
Not them...
“I’m sorry.” Akasuki pleaded.
She was a crying mess.
She didn’t know what to do.
Neither as Atsumu.
Coming here was a mistake.
“I- I’m leaving.” I said.
“Y/n...” Atsumu tried calling me.
Osamu Miya’s POV
“We are here!” Kita said but stopped as he saw Y/n.
“Y/n....” I said.
She looked at us perplexed.
She was crying.
She was in pain.
“Y-You knew?” Y/n murmured.
I looked at her.
“I- I didn’t.” I answered.
“Y/n.” Atsumu called.
As soon as he saw her, he saw us.
“Atsumu. Get away from her.” I said.
Atsumu looked at me.
“I- I have to explain.” Atsumu said.
“No.” I said.
I walked towards her and grabbed her arm.
“You don’t have to say anything.” I said.
“Y/N.” Akasuki cried as she walked to the scene.
“Go away.” I said.
I was angry.
How could they do that?
Both of them?
The people that Y/n trusted the most?
They betrayed her.
Atsumu Miya’s POV
“Y/N.” I tried calling her.
Osamu was dragging her with him.
“P-Please.” I pleaded.
“Atsumu, please stay away.” Kita said.
I looked at him.
What was he doing?
“Don’t make this more difficult.” Kita said.
I looked behind me.
Akasuki sighed painfully.
“Truth is inevitable.” Akasuki murmured.
“Stay away.” Kita said as he left.
Both of them took Y/N away.
I could have explain her.
I could have said the truth.
I could have tell her that...
That I love her.
Osamu Miya’s POV
“Y/N.” I said.
She continued to ignore me on our walk.
“Give her a moment.” Kita said.
She wasn’t talking.
She wasn’t doing anything.
She was just... walking.
“I will be going home.” Y/N said.
She tried to take another direction.
“Let me walk you home.” I offered.
She closed her eyes and tried pushing me away.
“Please, leave me alone.” Y/N said.
She was suffering.
“Y/N, I want to make sure you’re safe.” I murmured.
“Please.” Y/n pleaded.
She looked at me with tears in her eyes.
“You just look like him.” Y/n said.
She was heart breaking.
“Y-Y/n.” I stutter.
She started to walk away.
Without giving me the opportunity to talk.
“Y-Y/n.” I tried calling but Kita hold me.
“She needs time.” Kita murmured.
My brother broke her.
He broke her.
Atsumu Miya’s POV
“Osamu.” I said.
He was sitting on the living room.
Was he waiting for me?
“Osamu.” I called again.
He looked at me and didn’t answer.
“I- I’m sorry.” I said.
He kept looking at me.
Why wasn’t he saying anything?
“Osamu. I said that I’m sorry.” I said.
“She said I looked like you.” Osamu said painfully.
What?
“What?” I asked.
“I couldn’t take her home.” Osamu said painfully.
Was he going to cry?
“Because she said I looked like you.” Osamu said painfully.
“I- I’m sorry.” I said.
“No.” Osamu said.
I looked at him.
“That’s the problem. You’re not sorry.” Osamu said.
Osamu stood up and walked towards me.
“Fuck you.” Osamu whispered.
Walking away from me.
I deserved it.
I really did.

Their Hero Academia -- Chapter 23: Takiyo Aoyama Tries to Shine
The raw, unedited next chapter of my on-going, next gen, My Hero Academia fan fic.
All prior chapters can be found here
Takiyo is four years old and supposedly will have a Quirk. His parents have had him tested and he lacks the extra two gene and otherwise tests positive for having one. But so far, they’ve been unable to find out what it is or make it manifest.  His father can project a thin, harmless beam of light from his index fingers, like a laser pointer.  And his mother glows, ever so slightly.  But no one can yet figure out what it is his does.
And then, there’s a day when he’s playing with his father. Nothing fancy, just playing ball in the yard while his mother hangs laundry.  He misses a catch and loses the ball in the grass, but his father sees it, lighting it up with the light beam from his fingers to show him where it is. Takiyo grabs for the ball, inadvertently putting his hand in the beam.  And that is when his Quirk decides to come in. Like a man dying of thirst encountering water for the first time, his Quirk starts greedily sucking up his father’s light beam.   Takiyo starts glowing, brighter and brighter, and he can’t break away; his father is unable to turn off his beam, both of them locked together as he absorbs the light.
Their worried cries attract his mother, who throws her arms around him and tries to pull him away.  But his Quirk is a greedy one, and it starts sucking up her light too.  Only now he’s beginning to hurt, feeling like he’s burning up inside.  He desperately cries for help, for his parents to make it better, but they can’t. They can’t break contact, they’re just as scared, if not more so, than he is.
And even the sunshine is beginning to make him feel funny now, tingling on his exposed skin more than it ever has.  He can feel his little body just drinking it up.
It’s too much for him.  All of that light he’s absorbed has to go somewhere.  And in his case, it goes everywhere.   It erupts from his body like a beacon, blasting up high into the sky.  He’d never know it, but official reports would say that the flare could be seen for miles.
***
Takiyo awoke to darkness, as he always did.  The accommodations of his dorm rooms were built to a very exacting standard.  The glass doors of the sliders could be turned completely opaque and heavy blackout curtains slid over them to keep even the smallest vestige of light from the cracks from slipping in.  The door sealed similarly, blocking out everything from the hallway.  His alarm clock displayed no illuminated numbers; those could only be turned on through a manual switch.
Everything that could be done to prevent him from absorbing any light had.  It would prevent him from absorbing too much overnight and hurting himself… or others.
He groped for his bedside table as he slid out of bed, finding the small remote there and pressed the single button on it once, turning on the lights.  His pajamas covered much, but still left his face, hands, and feet exposed.   It was really just enough light to see by.  Even then, he felt the tingle across his skin as soon as the light came on. Just from that little bit of light alone, he could see the blue-white glow starting to emerge from within him.
It had been this way since his Quirk had come in.  The belt and bracelets he wore helped to control it somewhat, gave him better means of directing the light he absorbed, but the fact remained that his Quirk was, by and large, very much out of his control.
It took him the better part of an hour to get ready for the day.  Even with no classes, it would not do to look anything less than perfect. There were standards to uphold, after all.  And it would be a crime to deprive the world of his face.   One of many reasons why he didn’t wear a mask to hide his features and block out the light.
As Papa said, “When you shine, mon fils, the world must always be allowed to see.”
Dark pants, a long-sleeved white shirt buttoned all the way up, matte-black boots (fashion nominally dictated they be polished and shine, but some sacrifices had to be made for his well-being) made up his outfit for the day, to which he added his bracelets and belt.  As soon as he clipped them on, he could feel the intensity of the light within him subside slightly.
His room was tastefully decorated, the latest in interior decorating from France.  Light colors, mirrors, the dark wood of his furniture looking quite sharp.   He took a moment and drew in a breath, before pointing at the far wall.  He let out a beam of light from his fingers, like a powerful halogen lamp.  And he kept it up for several long seconds, feeling the light leaving his body.
It gave him an empty, hungry feeling.  It always did when he was low on light.  His body craved it as much as it craved food or water.  The eight hours of beauty sleep he got a night were about just as long as he could safely do.  But the empty feeling was immediately replaced by the feeling of sucking light in. What little illumination his ceiling light provided was better than nothing at all to his Quirk.  It wasn’t picky.
Steeling himself for the world outside, he opened his door.
***
Takiyo wakes up in a hospital bed.  Quirk Exhaustion, they’d later say.  His first manifestation of his Quirk being too much for his small body to handle.  It wouldn’t be the last time it would happen to him.
The lights around him are dimmed, leaving him mostly in darkness. But even then, he’s starting to glow. It doesn’t hurt this time.  It feels good, it makes him feel… full.
Even at his young age, he knows something is very, very wrong. More so than just being in the hospital.
There’s a curtain drawn around the bed, but he can hear someone talking to his father just outside it.
“I know you’ve had a traumatic experience, Mister Akasuki,” a voice says, “but I don’t think you you’re thinking clearly.  Your son is going to need you.  His Quirk is potentially very dangerous…”
A voice, his father’s, cuts the other off.  “Don’t you think I know that?” his father asks.  “But I just…  I can’t.   I’m not strong enough.  He’s my son, but all I can think about when I look at him is there’s the boy who took off my hand and killed my wife…”
There’s more arguing outside, but Takiyo can’t hear it.  He’s crying.  Is that right?  Is his mom dead?  Is it his fault?  Did he make his dad leave him?
Long, terribly long, minutes pass.  And then the curtain parts and a doctor enters.  He has dark hair that’s long enough to make Takiyo think he’s skipped a haircut and eyes that are solid black.  It’s a little creepy, but his smile is kindly, if sad.
“You’re awake,” he says.  “How’re you feeling?”
“Who… who are you?” Takiyo asks.  “Where’s my dad?”
“My name’s Haru Shima,” the doctor says.  He doesn’t answer the question about his dad.  “I’m your doctor.”  He comes and sits in the chair near the bed, and Takiyo flinches.
Doctor Shima sees him flinch, but he doesn’t move.  “It’s okay,” he said.  “You can’t hurt me.”  He takes a pen from the pocket of his white coat and hands it to Takiyo. “Here, throw this at me.”
Takiyo gives the pen a little toss.  He doesn’t know why he does it, but it gives him something else to think about.  The pen stops in mid-air before it hits the doctor and just falls as though it had hit a wall.  The doctor catches it easily.  “See?” he says.  “Anything gets too close to me, it stops before it can hurt me.  That’s my Quirk.”
That’s something, at least.  But it just makes him think about his parents.  “What about my dad?  Where’s my mom?”
Doctor Shima frowns.  “I’m sorry,” he says after a long moment.  “We should probably have the social worker here for this, but…”
***
Takiyo entered the Common Room to find it in chaos.  This wasn’t actually uncommon, but it was always a toss-up as to who would be responsible.   Had Mika Mineta angered Katsumi Kirishima-Bakugo?  Was Asuka Tokoyami’s Frog-Shadow acting up again?   Was Shota Shinso going on about something he saw on the internet and had dragged Toshinori Midoriya and Isamu Haimawari into it?
No, today’s nonsense came in the form of the far more usual suspects: Kimiko Ojiro, Kenta Sato, and Takuma Sero.   Ojiro was not quite as terrible as her partners in crime and he did find her an enjoyable source of gossip, but collectively, the three were nothing but trouble.  He blamed the Sero boy for corrupting them both.  Sero was sitting across from the other two, who were sitting at one of the dining tables.
“Okay,” Sero said, keeping his phone pointed at Sato and Ojiro, “tell me what about you’re doing?”
Sato gave the camera a grin. “So this is a very special addition of Will Sato Eat it?  Kimiko here is going to give me something to eat, but she’s going to use her Quirk to make it invisible.   Without being able to see it or touch it, I’m going to have to guess what it is.”
Ojiro elbowed him in the side.  “Oh yeah,” Sato added hastily.  “Hastag invisi-lunch!”
Idiots, all of them. He understood the desire for fame. His papa had taught about controlling your image and putting your best face forward from the moment he had decided he was going to be a Hero. Takiyo knew all about how to stand out and shine.  But he also knew you didn’t do it through idiotic stunts and trying to go “viral.” To say nothing of the fact that neither Sero nor Sato had enough of a sense of style or stage presence to pull it off no matter what.  Ojiro, at least, did have some of that.
He just wanted to make himself some breakfast and now he had to deal with this. Very pointedly ignoring them, he made his way to the kitchen to start preparing an omelet.  They seemed to be ignoring his ignoring them (how very rude!) but he still took some satisfaction from not giving them the attention that they so obviously craved.
Unfortunately, even as he worked on his food, the noise from the others was distracting.  Every so often something would crunch or snap or make some other unnatural noise as Sato bit through whatever it was.   Already, Takiyo could see he had bitten the head off a garden gnome, taken a bite out of a Frisbee, eaten all he glass from a light bulb, and was about to take a bite out of a traffic cone.  It also looked like Ojiro had several more items on the table for Sato to taste, only some of which he could readily identify.   He let out a weary sigh.
“Is this going to be going on all morning?”
Sero stopped filming for a moment, putting his phone down and shooting him an angry look.  “Dude,” he said.  “You ruined my shot!  Don’t you know we’re supposed to have quiet on the set?”
Sato gave him an incredulous look.  “Dude. It’s not a set.  It’s the Common Room.”  Perhaps he had an ounce of sense after all.
“Aoyammmmma,” Ojiro whined, crossing her arms.  “Whyyyyy?”
“Because I’m tired of having to put up with the three of you acting like you’re going to be the next big thing.”
Sero frowned. “Dude.  That’s harsh.”
“Sometimes,” Takiyo shot back.  “Harsh reality is needed.”
***
It’s days later and his father still hasn’t come back for him. The nice lady from social services had said something about “giving up parental rights” and that they were “trying to find a nice home for him.”
They did lots of tests and they kept his room really dark. Every time there’s even the least little bit of light, he can feel his body and Quirk sucking greedily at it, wanting every bit of it.  It doesn’t look like he can turn that off, they say.  The hospital’s Quirk specialist says they’re trying to see if they can have any support gear made that will help him,
He spends most of his days crying.  He hurt his dad and…
There’s no words around it.  He killed his mom.   He’s only four and he understands that much.  The nice Doctor Shima and everyone has tried to make him understand it wasn’t his fault, but he can’t stop thinking about it.
But Doctor Shima visits him every day, talks to him, makes him feel just a little less like a monster.  It doesn’t last, but it lasts for a moment.  It’s nice to have someone, at least, who isn’t afraid he might hurt them.
One time, Doctor Shima visits him with another man.  And he is the prettiest man Takiyo has ever seen. Skinny, with blonde hair.  He wears a thick belt that wraps around his middle and has a sparkle of his own.  Takiyo instantly tries to scoot farther back on the bed, away from the man’s light.
“It’s okay, Takiyo,” Doctor Shima says.  “Anything happens, I’m right here.  Nobody’s going to get hurt.”    He gestures to the other man.  “This is my husband, Yuga Aoyama.”
“Don’t… don’t get close,” Takiyo cries, desperately.  “I don’t want to hurt you!”
In spite of his warnings, Doctor Shima’s husband sits next to him.  He sees the slight glow coming from him, the little bit of light he’s absorbed from the machines in the room and the light from the hallway.  He looks over to Doctor Shima for a minute, who merely nods. His gaze quickly returns to Takiyo and Takiyo realizes he has some of the kindest eyes he’s ever seen.
“I too, know what it is like to have a Quirk that scares you, mon petit ami.  Mine has, most of my life.  But my husband tells me you have been very brave.  You must be very strong.”
“I don’t feel strong,” Takiyo says.  “I hurt my dad.  I hurt… I… my mom…”
Doctor Shima’s husband does something unexpected then, and he wraps his arms around Takiyo, completely unafraid.  “It was an accident,” Aoyama says.  “It was not your fault.  It was not your fault.”
Doctor Shima clears his throat.  “Takiyo…  my husband and I have been talking it over… and how would you like to come live with us?”
***
“Really?” Sero asked. “Now you’re just getting pissy. Do you have over a thousand followers on HeroTube?”
Takiyo put a hand to his chest.  “Over two thousand on InstaGlam.  Some of us are meant to shine.  Some of us are not.”
“So what you’re really saying is you’re not any different than us,” Sero said, pointing an accusing finger.  He moved from the table toward the kitchen.
“Guys…” Ojiro said, trying to come between them.
“This… is gonna be ugly,” Sato said, looking like he was trying to find an escape.
“Non,” Takiyo said.  “I, at least, am trading upon my natural grace and beauty.  You three are a sideshow attraction, trying to appeal to the lowest common denominator.  Which is fine for you.  But do not subject the rest of us to it.”
“You think you’re so much better than us,” Sero said.  “You try to hog the glory, you talk down to Mineta, you think you’re such hot stuff, always trying to show off.   Well, you’re not any different than any of us.  You… you’re…”
“You’re on fire,” Sato said.
“Of course I am,” Takiyo said.  “When you’re this good, you’re…”
“No!” Ojiro cried out. “You’re on fire!  Your arm!”
Takiyo looked down to see his sleeve had slipped near the burner of the stove.  He’d moved his omelet when he’d started ranting at the three idiots, but had neglected to turn the burner off.  And now his sleeve was very much on fire.
“Aaah!”  he let out a cry of alarm.
“Aaah!” Sero cried.
“Aaah!”  screamed Ojiro and Sato.
Takiyo hastily turned to the sink, turning on the cold water and sticking his arm under it.  It extinguished the blaze and he did not seem to have any burns, but his shirt was ruined.  “This.  Was. Silk!”
“Whoa, dude,” Sero said, holding up both hands. Ojiro and Sato had moved to stand beside him. “You okay?”
“This is all your fault,” Takiyo snapped.   Before he even knew what he was doing, he threw up a hand and a beam of light lanced out towards the three of them.
The three acted surprisingly quickly.  Ojiro and Sato both wrapped their arms around Sero, who shot a stream of his tape up towards the ceiling and yanked, pulling all three of them out of the path of his light beam.  It struck the couch on the other end of the Common Room, but did no damage.  He didn’t have enough light stored up for that.  Not yet anyway.
***
Takiyo is five and a half years old and he has been living with Doctor Shima and Yuga Aoyama for more than a year.  Six months ago, they adopted him.  They didn’t ask him to forget his mom or dad, but they wanted him as a part of their family now and forever.  And they are good, kind people who love him and who aren’t afraid of his Quirk.  He wants to be a part of their family.  They spent part of their time in Japan and part of their time in France, where some of his papa’s family is from.  His papa is a famous hero and his dad is a doctor.
He doesn’t see his old friends anymore.  Their parents are afraid of him, won’t let them play with him. But he’s made new friends, the kids of his papa’s friends. They aren’t afraid of him.  Maybe he doesn’t get as close to them as he’d like, but they are good people too.
He is six when he decides he wants to be a Hero like Papa. Papa’s friends, Mrs. Yaoyorozu and Mrs. Iida do some tests on him and design him a belt and bracelets to wear, like the belt Papa wears.  He works with Papa to learn how to use his Quirk. He will be a Hero.
“In this world,” Papa tells him once, “there will be many people who say you cannot do it.  Because you need support.  Because your Quirk is not quite right for who you are.  You must ignore it.  You shine and show the world your sparkle.  You will take them all by storm and prove the wrong.”
So he tries to always shine, to always sparkle.  He has to prove everyone wrong.  He has to be the best, so that no one can ever say there is anything wrong with him again.
***
Sero had somehow managed to swing his trio from one spot to another across the Common Room ceiling.  Takiyo had continued trying to tag them with light blasts—one good one would probably make him lose his grip and then he could get his hands on them—but to no avail.
Unfortunately, their fighting had attracted attention of others in the dorm and they now all found themselves under the disapproving glares of Asuka Tokoyami and Akaya Koda.
“Someone please explain to me why you’re turned the Common Room into a shooting gallery?” Tokoyami asked, one finger aside her beak.
Sero and Takiyo both pointed at the other.  “He started it!” they said as one.
Tokoyami let out a groan. “I don’t know why I expected anything else,” she said.
“Kenta,” Koda said, looking to her friend.  “Could you tell us what happened?”
The thick-lipped young man looked guiltily at Sero.  “We were filming and Aoyama started yelling at us… But Takuma started yelling back and then Aoyama got distracted and set himself on fire and it kind of spiraled from there.”
Under the dual gaze of the most responsible and level-headed members of the class, Takiyo did not especially feel like putting up an argument.  Koda was of one of the few members of the class who did not seek to make him less than he was.  And Tokoyami had mastered the art of “disappointed in you” to a level he was not fully certain he understood.
“Clean up the mess, please,” Tokoyami said.  “I don’t want any of you getting in trouble with Aizawa for destroying the dorm.”
“Aw, but we were going to…” Ojiro began.   Sato gave her a nudge in the ribs.  “Oh, okay.”
Takiyo grumbled, but reluctantly nodded.
He couldn’t afford to let anything jeopardize his future as a Hero.
Because he had to be a Hero. And a famous, important one at that.   Because if he saved people, if he saved everyone, if everyone loved him…
Then maybe he could save enough people to make up for what he’d done.  Maybe one day he could look in the mirror and see a Hero, instead of someone who’d killed his own mom.

Known Languages: Akasuki knows Japanese, English, French, Chinese, Latin, and Japanese Sign Language.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
General Physical Condition
She’s small and not very strong because she’s not very athletic.
Facial Features
Akasuki has freckles across her nose.
Special Abilities
Quirk name: Psychometry
Psychometry is the supposed ability to discover facts about an event or person by touching inanimate objects associated with them.
Apparel & Accessories
Akasuki likes wearing big sweaters and skirts of any length (but her favorites are knee-length skirts.) Everyday she wears special clear thing gloves that make it so she doesn’t have to worry about using her quirk randomly but it’s also not obvious whether she’s using it or not.
MENTAL CHARACTERISTICS
Personal History
Akasuki comes from a wealthy family so she’s always been in top private schools. She’s been professionally trained on her quirk since she was a child and she got into UA through recommendation. She wasn’t raised by parents who gave her everything she wanted just because they could afford to so she isn’t a spoiled person.
Education
Akasuki is a first-year student at UA in the management department.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Akasuki was valedictorian of her middle school. She used her quirk to help find and catch a person who stole equipment from her father’s company.
Failures & Embarrassments
Right before a test Akasuki accidentally tore one of her gloves, exposing her quirk. She didn’t realize this and once she touched the test paper she automatically knew all the answers. Another student noticed the tear (this was before she had the see-through gloves) and exposed her for cheating before she could explain herself. She ended up in the teachers’ office where she was nearly reprimanded, but she was able to explain herself and was let go and they made up a different test for her to take so she could still get a grade like the rest of the students.
Intellectual Characteristics
Akasuki is very smart and usually at the top, if not the very top student, of her class.
PERSONALITY CHARACTERISTICS
Motivation
Akasuki’s parents have told her her quirk would be great for the private investigator or police force business, and Akasuki believes they’re right, but she also believes she could do more if she worked with the heroes, not just the people and the government, so she wants to start her own hero agency.
Savvies & Ineptitudes
Good at: studying, reading, dancing, remembering fun facts, being patient
Bad at, flirting, sliding puzzles, lying
Likes & Dislikes:
Likes: history, logic puzzles, studying, first-person shooter games, watching nature/zoo/animal shows
Dislikes: pickles, her mother, dogs
Virtues & Personality Perks
Akasuki is good at keeping secrets. She’s a very focused person.
Vices & Personality Flaws
Akasuki bites her nails. She gets too focused on her studies sometimes and has an irregular sleep schedule.
SOCIAL
Family Ties
Akasuki is an only child. She grew up with her parents and the servants that worked in her house. Not long after her quirk manifested, she found out (with her quirk) that she was an illegitimate child of her mother and the butler who took care of her the most. Knowing he was her actual father, she became rather close with him and they’re best friends; it was very hard for both of them when she moved into the UA dorms. Akasuki hasn’t told anyone that she knows about the affair, but she dislikes her mother because of it, and she loves her “father”, but her feelings for him are somewhat complicated, knowing he’s giving her everything and she doesn’t really deserve it because she’s not the rightful heir to the company.
Social Aptitude
Akasuki isn’t a very confident person but she knows that if she wants to run her own business/hero agency that she has to be, so she wants to start making more friends at UA.
Hobbies & Pets
Akasuki has a rabbit named Nighteye after the Pro Hero Sir Nighteye
Wealth & Financial State
Akasuki’s father is the CEO of a tech company so her family is very wealthy.

“You sure about this?” Sam questioned wearily as he handed you the fire resistance potion. You nod opening the cap of the bottle and finishing it in one swig.
“Yes Sam. I am sure.” you brushed the wrinkles out of your dress as you watched Sam give you one last look before sighing and pulling the lever that opened up the space between you and Sam and your boyfriend in his cell.
Without looking at the guard next to you, you step the second the first piece of flooring appears and walk across.
Dream eyes you skeptically as he watches you step onto the other side of his cell before the lava behind you resumes its position. The tension is thick between you two , but hey that’s what happens when your boyfriend decides he’s gonna be a jerk.
“What are you doing here?” He questioned turning around so his back faced you as he went to sit on the bed. You ignored his question deciding to lean against the block in front of you, blocking you and him.
“Thought you missed me.” You stated bluntly. “Nah I’m fine.” He layed down closing his eyes throwing his arm over them to block out the light he could still see through his eyelids. “Can I ask you something?”
He mumbled something incoherent but it’s not like you really cared either way you were gonna ask him anyways and he had no choice but to listen. “Why’d you do it?” No answer.. You could tell it obviously wasn’t what he was expecting being as that he wasn’t as quick with his answer as usual.
“Power.”
His voice was low and raspy but you heard him perfectly fine. Your tongue stuck out dragging itself along your bottom lip as you allowed your mind to go through all the times when it was obvious all he wanted was to be in control.
“Can I ask you something else?” He nodded slightly taking the ball from off the top of his chest and began to throw it up and down with the same hand catching it. Something he had started doing when he was nervous or stressed.
And right now you couldn’t tell which it was. But I guess that’s what happens when you don’t see the love of your life for so long it feels as if they’re a stranger to you. “Did you ever actually love me? Or was I just there to be the person to comfort you when you knew you did something wrong and felt like the worse person over.” Your words faltered towards the end.
You were an over-reactor and you knew this. Sometimes you’d let your thoughts get the best of you and allow your brain to twist the words of someone else to make it seem like everyone was against you.
Dreams head lifted and his features had softened as he looked at you. There were no tears in your eyes or running down your cheeks, but it felt like you were balling your eyes out. “No.. I- why would you think that?”
He threw his legs over the side of the bed as he faced your eyebrows knitted together. “I don’t know, I just… it doesn’t matter.” You trailed off rubbing behind your ears to calm down your nerves. “um anyways I just came to say I’m selling the house.” Your boyfriend automatically shot off the bed walking towards you.
“Wha- no! You can’t sell the house! That’s not- no! You can’t sell it without my permission.” You knew this was going to be difficult. You ran your hand down your face and licked your lips once more.
“The ownership of the house automatically goes to me since you’re in no place to take care of a house..”
“This is fucking bullshit,” He sighed looking up at the ceiling with his eyes closed. “Well then what are you going to do with no house?”
“I’m gonna move in with a friend a few towns over.” He raised an eyebrow as your eyes met. “What about me?”
“I don’t know Dream.. Maybe we just weren’t meant to be.”
-
You walked out the prison Quackity waiting outside for you. “How’d it go?” He questioned. You sighed and just shrugged. “I think I should go back in there and apologize, and tell him I’m not moving and I’ll wait until he gets you.”
You stopped walking looking behind you at the very large prison.
“No no no, 2 steps forward and 1 step back? No.” He took your hand and began to pull you forward. “But you don’t understand he’s.. He’s not well!”
Quackity sighed rolling his neck. “n/n if you think what he did is okay then you’re not okay, maybe we should go see someone for you.”
You immediately shook your head taking your hand away from the boy across from you. “I’m perfectly fine, don’t tell me I need to go see someone you have no idea what I’m going through.”
“Not everything is about you Y/n!” His voice raised slightly as he moved his hands a tad to get his point across. “God.. You’re such an idiot!”
Those words were like a slap across the boy in front of yous’ face as he took in the hurtful words. You were angry, but you knew you were wrong for calling him an idiot.”
“I may be an idiot, but unlike you I didn’t fall in love with a manipulator that clearly didn’t have good intentions in the first place.” And with that he stormed off leaving you alone with those equally hurtful words.

quackity rubbed his eyes as they blurred with tiredness for the fifth time that night. deciding to stop working for the night, he shut his pc off, hearing the eventual die down of the fan and lights flickering off. tiredness had set into his bones a while ago, and he wanted nothing more than to relinquish in the comfort and embrace of his s/o.
he had been working all day on a new lore stream, hardly leaving his streaming room or seeing you besides the times you brought him food. he missed you, there was no denying it.
arising from his seat, he quickly stretched while letting out a yawn, trying to blink away his watering eyes. grabbing his phone, he walked out into the hallway towards the living room.
you had soon entered his field of vision, sitting comfortably on the couch with the tv on. hearing his footsteps, you turn your head to give him a small greeting.
quackity promptly fell lightly on you, resting his head on your chest and wrapping his arms around your torso. you smile softly as he closes his eyes, taking your fingers and running them through his hair.
“are you tired love?”
quackity hummed softly in response, truly too tired to answer.
you continued to mindlessly run your fingers through his hair as you continued your show, lulling him to sleep. after resting in silence for about five minutes, your phone began to ring.
“oh- let me take this, i’ll be back”
quackity tried to protest, making a small hum as you pried yourself from his grasp. walking away to the bedroom, you begin to talk to your friend.
without you next to him, quackity got restless, his sleep interrupted. he missed your warmth and presence, he felt clingy. mentally debating his options, he begrudgingly got up. with half-lidded eyes, he shuffles around the house to find you.
hearing your voice through the bedroom door, he silently turned the knob and opened the door, spotting you sat on the edge of the bed chatting away.
you saw him walk in, raising an eyebrow at his presence. he tiredly padded over, taking a seat next to you and draping his arms around your figure. he faintly whined, resting his head on your shoulder as he began to fall asleep again.
you could only smile at how cute he was, clingy and attention starved. you had missed him throughout the day, only seeing him for a couple minutes every few hours.
no longer able to pay attention to what your friend was saying, you quickly stop them mid-sentence.
“i’m so sorry, i have to hang up the phone, my boyfriend needs attention again. i’ll call you back tomorrow.”
pressing the bright red ‘end call’ button, you turn to your sleepy boyfriend. you took this opportunity to tease him, knowing he was too tired to be bothered.
“look at you, you big baby, missed me much?”
you press a kiss to his head, causing him to subconsciously smile.
“let’s head to bed-”
voice raspy, quackity speaks up for once.
“hey y/n?” “hm?” “i love you- i missed you” “i love you too, i missed seeing you today, but you need some rest now”
that night the two of you slept soundly, tangled in each other’s embrace, content in each other’s warmth.

Yen Press Announces New KONOSUBA Spinoff Light Novels and More
Yen Press came through with a big pile of announcements this week, including a new KONOSUBA light novel. Next up in English from author Natsume Akasuki and illustrator Kasumi Morino is KONOSUBA: An Explosion on this Wonderful World! Bonus Story: We are the Megumin Bandits, due out in print and digitally this August.
Before we get into the full list of seven new titles—two light novels and five manga, all due out in August unless otherwise noted—here's the official description for this KONOSUBA bonus series:
The right magic words can stir a person’s soul. For Megumin, those words are “vigilante justice.” Join everyone’s favorite one-trick wizard, as well as Iris the Headstrong, Cecily the Problematic, and Yunyun…as they get a taste of the righteous bandit lifestyle! Evil aristocrats beware!
“For the sake of justice, there’s no line I won’t cross! No criminal act I won’t commit!”
The other novel announcement is the adaptation of Makoto Shinkai's 2013 anime film The Garden of Words.
    Synopsis:
From director Makoto Shinkai comes the novel adaptation of his award-winning 2013 film Garden of Words, a moody drama about two lonely souls who meet in the garden of Shinjuku during rainy season and help each other “learn to walk again” in life.
Kicking off the manga announcements is author Taro Hitsuji and illustrator Yuzuriha's Last Round Arthurs, the first volume of which is now available.
    Synopsis:
In all honesty, Rintarou's life is boring as hell. If you ask him, he was born into this world with too much talent. Everything goes too according to plan. His way of having fun? Joining forces with the weakest candidate, Luna Artur, in the upcoming battle to become King Arthur's successor—and save the world from impending doom.
The only problem? She's the scummiest of scum, pawning off her sacred sword and forcing her knight, Sir Kay, into some seriously skeevy cosplays! Or so he thinks—until a close encounter with death, when her true power astonishes all. Make way for an unexpected take on the age-old legends of King Arthur!
Then we have Sakurai Ato's Majo Raba Majo Reba.
    Synopsis:
Haruka Kuse sees Maruna Rinjou as his savior—he owes his life to her blood transfusion, after all. But what he never knew is that she’s actually a witch! Haruka wants to repay the favor somehow, and the answer is…crossdressing to help Maruna pass her magic exams?!
Yoshino Satsuki's Yoshi no Zuikara: The Frog in the Well Does Not Know the Ocean.
    Synopsis:
A new story about one man’s creative struggles arrives courtesy of Satsuki Yoshino, author of Barakamon! Can a ten-year manga artist with experience only in the fantasy genre pivot to drawing a down-to-Earth story about regular folks? It’s sink-or-swim for Naruhiko Toono and his career!
  Natsume Ono's ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Department P.S..
    Synopsis:
Dive back into Natsume Ono’s world of clandestine intrigue and delectable eats! This spin-off puts the spotlight on the supporting characters seen throughout the original series—including the five chief officers of ACCA, Nino, and Mauve! Discover closely guarded secrets, hidden thoughts, and true feelings in the Dowa Kingdom.
And, last but not least, an omnibus edition of Magica Quartet and illustrator Hanokage's Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
    Synopsis:
When a new girl joins her class, Madoka Kaname feels she recognizes the mysterious, dark-haired transfer student from one of her dreams...a dream where she is approached by a cat-like creature who offers Madoka an opportunity to change destiny. Madoka had always thought magic was the stuff of fantasy...until she sees the transfer student fighting with the very cat-being from her dream! And just like in Madoka's dream, the cat gives her a choice: Will Madoka become a Puella Magi in exchange for her dearest desire? What will be the cost of having her wish come true?
