kinda scowls at you when you put your hands under his shirt but secretly really loves it so when you slither your hands away he instantly places your hands back and make sure your hands STAY there. bonus points if you have warm body temperature. he likes the feeling of your warm hands on his slightly colder body.

his wardrobe has drastically evolved from muted tones to slightly lighter and vibrant clothing ever since you insisted on getting matching stuff!!

WILL say he is not a jewellery person but collects, keeps and takes care of all the little trinkets you give him DAILY. he has a little sticker on the edge of one of his books and a little moon sticker on the end piece of his sports glasses

he also defineitely has really thick curly blond lashes. you say they are one of his charming points but he gets all flustered. when you insist to put clear mascara on them, he doesn't really look like he has a problem with it 🥹

what could his ahh possibly be listening to with those headphones on so often (real)

sends you playlists at an insane hour that go for insane amounts of time. but i KNOW his taste is immaculate. every song always gives you goosebumps or makes your heart tighten

honestly, out of all these men HINATA SHOYO is the BEST candidate for taking care of a person except himself. has no limits in his stamina, and will only listen to you when you ask him maybe its time for a break. does he overwork? not necessarily. does he work too hard? yes, in a positive way. please remind him to eat because he will forget sometimes

he will NEVER admit he likes being the little spoon LMAO he finds being vunerable in your arms a tad bit silly, and it bugs him. after a long week of practice games and insisting kageyama and yachi to practice with him the instant he falls on the bed, he finds himself melting into your touch. your voice gets a little more buttery and he loves it, falling asleep instantly

hes probably a hard sleeper too 😭 he wont wake up till he feels your cold hands on his face or the sunbeams from the curtain literally bleed into the sheets and steal its colour

PLEASE STROKE HIS HAIR. he loves it. he absolutely loves it. again, melts into your touch like ice-cream. his heart will feel tight and he has a lil' blush 🥹 whats even more priceless is his lips slightly agape after hes fallen asleep... how can you NOT love this man

one of the only boys on this list who will LET you put little pink bows or style his hair in braids and clips. (if you're imagining timeskip hinata, you have attempted to put a little bow around his bicep but you underestimated its size and it BROKE. gosh what an experience)

DANCES WITH YOU EVERYWHERE!!! omg i love him so much. doesn't care if you have two left feet, he just loves the feeling in his heart when he sees your smile as he spins you around. in the rain, in big empty rooms, in the kitchen, anywhere.

loves the idea of promise rings or little trinkets that ensure he gets to have you forever!!

kiyoomi sakusa ; washing machine - VANISHING GIRL, rosemary fairweather

PLEASE braid this man's hair. 😞 he pretends to despise it and thinks you don't notice when he literally melts under your touch. he feels safe 'nd comfy and hopes it lasts forever, when your hand retracts he has a lil' pout

notices when you've been wearing your favourite hood for a couple days straight, has a little scowl under his mask and throws one of his jackets at you. he only gives you the wind-breakers that are 100% cotton or the ones he just knows you like.

he uses this as an excuse to share his clothes with you. its safe to assume its his love language under-cover!

HE IS SO ASS WITH PDA all you get is him giving you hand sanitizer before eating meals or snacks. its only you though, don't tell him that.

BUT sometimes when he feels like it, he will take your hand and put it HIS pocket so "your hands are always sheltered from germs" now what type of bs is THAT. (you love this bs)

can be snarky. sometimes he gets the slightest eenie meenie miniest bit cocky, and its very noticable. has the ability to be a little bit of a tease but not in a pestering way more like a little smartass way LMAO.

tetsuro kuroo ; never lose me - flo milli

always has his hand in the back pocket of your pants. that was it. thank you for coming to my ted talk. (to feel your butt? no idea.)

tutor sessions always unbearable. either you're too busy staring at his biceps, or you're sighing that he's made a little pop quiz for you!! tell him it sucks please

if he notices it gets a bit too much or overwhelming for you over the week or before study dates, insists to take you out instead (what a gentleman!! kuroo tetsuro come into my life)

extremely consistent with routine. good morning and good night text DAILY no matter how busy he is, he WILL find a way (i like to think its his way or the high way #kingofprovocation /hj). very good at getting the things he wants in a non-manipulative way but with simply logic and brains

yeah as captain hes no. #1 but he is also no. #1 waist CLUTCHER. his hands are always on you somehow even in the slightest way, but never pervy. he just likes having his hands on you! bonus points if you have hip dips, he loves it so much. he finds it as a perfect spot to place his hands on (btw ppl w hipdips yall are BEAUTIFUL!! 🥹)

i feel as he has a possessive side as well. small, but more noticable compared to someone else. will not hesitate to stare someone (or recite chemistry nerd stuff 🙁) down for looking at you a little too long :3

when he sees you post or sees himself in your instagram or tiktok dumps, his heart tightens a bit in the best way possible. when you mention him in the post he only reacts with a heart but he's actually going insane

movie nights. any movie. you'll pull up to his house and he will have a whole snack layout on the coffee table you can't even see the table anymore. he has a little pillow fort set up and everything, plushies, fairy lights, you name it this man bought it and set it up for you both "baby how long did this take you?" you smiled at the setup he created "sh, that doesn't matter.... all day hehe" OIKAWA, BOKUTO pls he would spend sm time perfectly setting everything up, daichi, HINATA, nishinoya, ASAHI HES SO ADORABLE

study dates... even though after like 20 minutes both of you would be watching tik toks and sending them to each other when you're literally like right beside each other on the bed. and he would sneak pics of you laughing at them ;) bcs he believes his tiktok humor is superior but his entire fyp is questionable SUNA he has so many pics of you laughing its not ok lmao, nishinoya, KUROO, bokutoooo, TANAKA (his fyp is so f'd up oml)

volleyball dates, ok hear me out here.... even if you like totally suck he would coach you. but if you play vball too oh boy will he get competitive. like you guys will be peppering/passing and he will hit the most impossible, unrecievable spike ever and you'll be sitting there like wtf bro and he's just like "babe that was nothing where were you ;)" with the biggest smug face... like eventually both of you invite your friends and it's not even a date anymore it's volleyball war OIKAWA HE WOULD BE SO COMPETITIVE, kageyama like he would invite hinata and you would complain abt how unfair their quick attacks are, ATSUMU, tsukishimaaaa, suna

HMBAU Chapter 3: Uncharted Territory and New Friends?!

I had just kind of sat there dumbfounded

Because now there was an entire plate of assorted food on my plate

Like holy shit this is a whole ass buffet

“Eat up so you have enough energy for the rest of the day!” Bokuto said kinda loudly and smiling

I still sat there just shocked eyes wider than a tuba bell

“Alright Y/N-chan I guess we’re gonna do this the hard way” Oikawa said to me standing up from his place in the circle

“I-what?!?!”

He didn’t say anything but he just walks over to me sits back down criss-cross and pulled me into his lap and wrapped his arms around me, his fingers settling on my waist and hips

“O-Oikawa what are you doing?!”

“Juuuust loosening you up a bit” He said with his chin on my shoulder

“Hey Oikawa, is this really a good idea?” Yaku pipes in

“It’ll be fine Yaku-chan~she’ll be fine”

With no warning as to what he could be talking about, I felt his hands move and he did the unthinkable

He started tickling me with no mercy

“Wahaiaiaiaiait nohhohohohohohoho”

“Oh yes~I’m sure you know what you need to do for me to stop~just tell me you’ll eat and follow through with that”

“Ohohohohohokahahahahay I wihihhhihhill juhuhst pleahehehehehese sthohohohp”

“Okay good!” he stopped when suddenly an apple slice with peanut butter on it appeared super close to my face

How on earth?!

And then I saw the person who was holding it was Osamu

Figures, only he would be able to accomplish perfect apple slices that fast

“Ah! I-I c-can e-eat myself b-but thank you”

“Ok” and he put it down on the plate

I knew he was good with food but holy shit the layout looked spectacular

Damn him for knowing me too well

I slowly started eating while the others started up a conversation

“Hey Bokuto, did you finally get a pedal note?”

“NO AND HOW DARE YOU BRING THAT UP”

I felt Oikawa laugh and pick me up off his lap and chime in with “Wait Bokuto-chan can’t pedal hahaha”

“HEY MAN LIKE YOU COULD HOLD A TUBA”

“Actually Bokuto he can. I know he seems weaker than a twig but his strength will surprise you” now that got me and I choked a bit

“IWA-CHAN DON’T SAY THOSE THINGS! YOU ALREADY KNOW I CAN WALK WITH THAT THING FOR A MILE ” only for Akaashi to finally notice choking and he alleviated it using the heimlich

“Are you ok?!”Akaashi said while also coaxing me to drink some water whilst the others continued to bicker in the background

“Y-yeah I’m ok but thank you”

He just smiled nodded and went back to where he had been sitting

I just kind of sat there slowly eating everything and getting full like never before

But I guess at some point I got lost just watching them because I got snapped out by Osamu

“Hey Y/N our break is over it’s time to go to the band room”

“Ah ok”

“Hey uh-Y/N?”

“Yeah?”

“Wanna walk there together especially since we keep our instruments near each other?”

“Uh-sure why not”

“Cool. So how come you pack such small lunches?”

“Oh well, I’m kind of a picky eater and I’m also watching what I eat so I can be healthier and raise my endurance on things. I also don’t think about it really”

“Ah”

“Is it just me or is everyone acting kinda strange today?”

“What do you mean?”

“Like I usually don’t talk to anyone and suddenly people are swarming me, especially the brass leaders! Has that been happening to you too?”

“Nah I think it’s just a you thing as far as getting lots of new attention.”

“But like why me?! I’m not interesting at all and coulda sworn no one around me really paid attention to my existence!”

“Probably because your talent piqued a lot of people’s interests, especially the leaders because they saw it, I know I was”

“But like Oikawa is acting the weirdest towards me, and none of the other flutes are! Am I a threat?!”

“No I wouldn’t say you are a threat, more like a successor”

“But i have no leadership skills! How would I be a good successor?”

“Your potential and that you aren’t Kageyama”

“But like who else has an eye on me?”

“The tubas”

AKAASHI Keiji really needs some hand warmers.

winter in tokyo has always been harsh, but this year at 5:33 PM, it was particularly unrelenting as akaashi pulled his scarf closer to his face, an attempt to warm up his nose as his hands stay frozen, despite hidden in his pockets. The bright “LAWSON” sign came to life right around the corner and he urged his feet to walk faster.

he finally relaxes when greeted by the gust of warm wind inside the cozy convenient store. akaashi looks down at his hand and winces at the faintest trace of purple. he knew he should’ve listened to his mother when she said to bring gloves.

he speeds walk down the aisle. The layout of Lawsons were similar and the hand warmers should be here in the second to last aisle. gray-blue eyes wandering up and down until the unmistakable plastic wrappings of hand warmers came into view inside a little bamboo basket.

with only one left, he reaches for it, long fingers accidentally colliding against yours. he couldn’t help but pull his hand back quickly after contact with yours. he spots the gloves in your left hand and wondered why your right hand was so cold.

you laugh at his expression and offers an explanation, “I have cold hands, the gloves don’t help me at all. But please, take the last one, at least I have gloves.”

akaashi felt bad that he made you feel like you had to explain yourself. but before he could respond, you round the corner, disappearing near the rows of hot chocolates.

so he took his time browsing, being careful not to look like a creep as he watches you debate between hot matcha or hot oolong. he should’ve approached you by the snack aisle, but akaashi has always been a little indecisive. you were a stranger (thought you were really quite cute), but a cute stranger doesn’t seem like a good enough excuse to strike up a conversation.

yet, he follows suit and checks out his items when you went to the cashier. the automated “goodbye! come again!” was replayed twice as he chases after you. winters in tokyo are harsh and Akaashi shouldn’t feel this warm, but he does as adrenaline course through his body at the thought of stopping a stranger. he could hardly believe he was being so bold, but something about you made him not want you to disappear in the crowds. and before he could second guess himself, the words slipped out.

“here! have the hand warmer!” he calls out, running behind you. you look back in surprise, stopping in your tracks.

he gives you a light smile, trying to hide his uneven breathing, “I’ll trade you for your gloves. I like gloves better.”

“you’d trade your hand warmers for these pink gloves?” your giggles were carried away by the winter breeze and its cheesy, but akaashi wanted to chase it back.

“yeah, pink is my favorite color”.

you laugh and he joins you. it was a lie that both of you knew yet didn’t want to expose. so you pull off your gloves, handing it to him.

“these are my favorite pair so I can’t give ‘em to you but I can let you borrow it.”

“deal. how about you help me find another hand warmer and I'll return your gloves then?

you nod as the two of you exchanged items, his fingers lingering on yours.

“I’m y/n.”

“I’m akaashi, but you can call me keiji”.
