I loveeeee Jure in blue! He just looks so good! Especially in that blue lacey flower shirt. It falls into the category of blouses that suit him so fucking well it's unreal!

It's also funny how Jure looks best either in a shirt with one of those bows around his neck or basically shirtless (I'm looking at you stožice outfit) Option 1) makes him look kinda regal and all soft and option 2) really brings out his arms and his figure (yes I may have died when I saw that lace chain thingy for the first time)

And the bows! Oh my lord the bows! They suit him so fucking well and I really really need him to wear them again because HOLY FUCK does he look good in them!

That furry jacket makes him look like a woman whose husband has just died under mysterious circumstances and I absolutely love that!

Also another category of clothes he looks absolutely fantastic in: dresses. I mean did you see the fucking wedding pictures?! He looked so so good in that dress it should be illegal. Like good sir please leave some slay for the rest of us!

So I was looking through Rei's appellations and:

SHU CALLED HIM HIS FRIEND. HE'S STILL ONE OF NATSUME'S BELOVED NII-SAN'S. THEY LOVED HIM SO MUCH, THEY STILL LOVE HIM UNCONDITIONALLY.

Even when Kanata would've drowned himself if not for Chiaki grabbing him, even when Shu was being barely kept alive by a desperate Mika, even when Wataru smiled and tried to reassure them as he calmly walked to his execution, even when Natsume could only cry from the shadows - none of them ever resented him for it.

But Rei resents himself, because he couldn't save them, or Ritsu, or Koga, or anyone he cared about.

And that is why he can't let them be that close - it'll only hurt them more when he lets them down again.

96. “Don’t mind me, I’ll just be in the corner, having another existential crisis.” I DO love putting Aira into situations, thank you. Not sure if this is the best Situation I could have put him in but it’s the one I thought of first. Don't ask what this is idek send me prompts!

The guy isn’t dead, or even unconscious. Hiiro thought it would have been too kind to let the man simply pass out after trying to threaten Aira and Kohaku seemed to agree, so they didn’t go that far. He’s just immobile on the floor. For now. They have yet to decide what to do with him. Hiiro has listened to Aira talk about this sort of thing enough to know that they have to hide the evidence.

The thought of Aira gives him pause in the middle of his discussion with Kohaku. He turns around and frowns in concern as he picks up on Aira’s lack of breathing. “Aira? Are you okay?”

He’s pretty sure the man didn’t get anywhere close enough to touching him, but he could have been wrong. The only reason the man got so close in the first place was because he and Kohaku had left for a minute, a minute which was clearly too long, so maybe—

Aira makes a high-pitched noise and shakes his head emphatically. “No, I’m fine. Don’t mind me, I’ll just be in the corner, having another existential crisis.”

Hiiro blinks. Glances at Kohaku, whose expression goes from confused to horrified.

“Uh, Love-han—” he starts, only to be cut off.

“It’s fine,” Aira says quickly. Hiiro notes, with some uncomfortable dread, that he’s avoiding looking directly at them—their feet, specifically. “I mean, this is better than getting like, mugged or anything, right? Haha…”

Hiiro is aware that city life isn’t like how he’s raised. Some people can keep up with him—Kohaku, for starters, and he’s thankful for that in times like this; someday, he’d like to spar with him—but it’s not a necessity for most. Aira especially doesn’t care for it, which is why Hiiro tries to protect him. But he knows it can be off-putting.

“I’m sorry!” he apologizes, feeling a bit panicked. “Did—did we scare you? We just wanted to protect you, but—”

“It’s not you!” Aira snaps. “I was almost attacked and then you guys got angry and I’ve never seen you two angry before.” Of course not. Hiiro has never been angry at Aira, and he would never want to be angry in front of him. Kohaku is the same. “I’m just… in shock. A-and confused, I guess. I don’t know what’s—what you’re doing, or what I’m supposed to be doing.”

Kohaku shifts a little. In his new position, he’s shielded Aira’s sight from the man behind them. “You’re not supposed to do anything,” he says gently.

“Can we just go home?” Aira asks, still not looking directly at them. He wraps his arms around himself. “To the dorms, I mean. I-I’m cold. And I wanna lay down.”

Hiiro exchanges a glance with Kohaku. He doesn’t want to just leave this guy here, but Aira is more important.

“Okay,” Hiiro agrees. He moves forward to stand at his side. Aira doesn’t flinch away, so he smiles. “Let’s go home.”

Kohaku joins them after a second and Aira, thankfully, relaxes, accepting both of their hands in his.

Well, Hiiro thinks, if he asks, his brother will probably be able to take care of this, so it should be fine. He prefers focusing his energy on Aira anyway.

ok ive meditated it and i think the Funniest thing that could possibly come out of the shu-torisis relationship would be. for shu to hear abt her possible arranged marriage to eichi so he gets involved in the pretty 5 stop the wedding antics. put naru, shu, mika and hiyori in the same room with "stopping eichi" as a common goal while aira and tori are Distressed about any possible attempted murder

OH MH GOD I FORGOT ABOUT THAT POINT DEAR LORD JEOFIRKXKEKFODK

And considering Tori's sister distaste for Eichi she would also greenlight literally any scheme (specially if it might end in Eichi getting hurt). Never let Mika, Shu and Hiyori in a room when the plan "is stop Eichi at all costs (you're allowed to hurt him ♡)"

congrats on finishing capman reki (i assume)! uhhh... i don't really have a prompt but i was curious about your pushing daisies au idea for enstars so if you'd like, maybe you could write something about it? i dunno.

(on another note, i think tumblr really likes eating notifs on my rbs of your responses to my asks? i think there's a couple questions a while back in other rb chains that might've gone poof. maybe i'll just send asks more often if you're alright with it)

Tumblr does eat a lot of notifs so yeah probably, could also be that I didn't have anything to say. But always feel free to send another ask as long as my askbox is open! Anyway, I actually HAD a thing written for pushing daisies au that I totally forgot I started so here it is kfjhsdfsd. My first thought for this was “rinne brings hiiro back to life and now he can never touch his brother again” but I thought that’d be too basic so instead I did this

“Duck!”

“Where?”

“No you idiot—Duck! Your brother is gonna walk in in five—”

Rinne dives behind the counter right before the bell chimes, signalling his brother’s entrance into the café. At the same time, Kohaku and Niki spin around to greet him.

“Good evening, Kohaku-san, Shiina-san!” comes Hiiro’s cheerful voice.

Niki’s smile only twitches a little, and he starts to say his usual “Welcome” when he’s cut off by Kohaku exclaiming, “Love-han?!”

“Kohakucchi,” says an unfamiliar, startled voice. “I didn’t know you worked in a café.”

“Oh, you two know each other?” says Hiiro.

“Yeah, we’re old friends!”

Rinne tilts his head up, as though he’d be able to look over the counter this way. Hiiro brought someone with him? Hiiro made a friend on his own? He squints up at Kohaku, noting the surprised yet pleased expression on his face. Whoever this person is, he must be something special. Rinne’s never seen that look on Kohaku’s face before. It makes him curious about what Hiiro looks like, too.

“Then I guess I only have to introduce you to Shiina-san!” Hiiro says. Rinne can practically hear the smile in his voice. “Shiina-san, this is my friend, Aira! Aira, this is Shiina Niki-san. He owns this café. Shiina-san and Kohaku-san knew my brother.”

“Shiratori Aira,” the friend, Aira, says. “Nice to meet you, Shiina-san!”

“You too,” Niki says. “How did you and Hiiro-kun meet?”

It suddenly becomes oddly silent. Niki’s professional smile falters.

“Aira picked me up after I… learned about Nii-san,” Hiiro says quietly. Rinne goes rigid. Niki’s eyes flicker downward, meeting his, before looking back up. “He helped me get back up. And now we’re roommates! He’s been teaching me a lot. I don’t know what I’d do without him.” There’s a bit of forced cheer in his tone, but the sentiment is real.

“I haven’t done that much, Hiro-kun…”

As the two begin a stupid debate over whether or not Aira has done a lot for Hiiro, Kohaku and Niki exchange glances. They don’t look down at where Rinne hides near their feet again, and he’s grateful for it. He doesn’t know what expression he’s wearing.

It’s incredible, in a way. Rinne was the one who left the village in search of something more, only to get himself killed. Hiiro left the village to chase after him, but he’s the one who’s been able to live. He decided to stay on his own instead of returning to the village, and now he has a friend and roommate. There are probably so many things he does outside of the café that he hasn’t talked about with Kohaku and Niki. Rinne… is glad. He’s so proud of him for getting this far, for being willing to step out of the absolute obedience of their village.

And all it took was for Rinne to run away and die.

“This is a lot of food for the two of you,” Niki is saying as Rinne starts to tune back in. At some point, they had moved on to ordering food.

“Aira and I are meeting some friends soon, so we’re getting food for them too,” Hiiro says. More friends. Rinne didn’t know.

“So you want this to go?”

“Yes please!”

“Alright, it’ll be ready soon.”

“Thank you!”

Rinne takes the time to crawl into the backroom as subtly as he can. Neither Niki nor Kohaku call him out on it. There's no use in getting upset now. He made his choice—and he doesn't regret a thing.
