I've been learning a lot about "AI", machine-learning, procedural generation, and have decided where my chips fall.
These are great tools for making new and interesting art and design, but not at the expense of others, and not in areas of industry where automation isn't needed.
When we tried the Lensa app one of the things that really bothered me was noticing fragments of what looked like logos or signatures in the corners. If the art the AI had been trained on was ethically sourced then why would they leave those in, I had to ask? Digging deeper and deeper, there's just no comfortable answer for any diffusion model image generator I have found.
Setting these tools loose to learn from people and copy their unique voice that brought them work is wrong.
And, further, companies should not be allowed to opt-in any of their illustrators' work for AI generators. That artist's style is part of the artist. Once they leave, a trained robot should not be able to emulate them. It's basically like organ donation– a very personal decision that corpos can eff right the eff off of.
While I'm not afraid of new tools, eager to learn more about them and take advantage of them, it's clear that this new technology requires regulation and artists may require protection.

Please, if you follow me be serious about this topic:
AI are just tools.
Corporates and GAN's use it in a bad way, but many digital artists use free image bank to do their art. As simple as that.
Complain against the platform who steal contents but stop blaming a tool who can be adapt in a respectful use and that is used by contemporary artists.
I just see people reacting quickly to a phenomenon they don't understand and it's quit frustrating because you just reject a part of creativity, art and also new contents from new creators who are specialist in using these AI and apply their own set up and free bank images to create (it's not from a plateform, they're using the software itself).
Also, if you think AI isn't art; think again about what is art. It's 7 A.M. right now and I'm not able to talk about that, but if you think it's not art, you just don't understand what art is all about. No one should define art based on a simple definition, few reactionnary precepts and worshipping a fake ideal of what is "being a TRUE artist". Doing that, you'll just insult this whole website and every traditional / digital artists who just make Fanarts (and many others of course but it's just an exemple. I'm talking on Tumblr. But i could also talk about contemporary art like Pollock and how people thoughts and still think "it's not true art"). That'll be hypocrite and idc to show it because you should aknowledge your lack of thinking about it.
I won't judge you tho, but you shouldn't judge a tool too, just because capitalistic buffoons play with it like every new technology since 100 years and maybe more; just to exploit and make easy money from a public who don't understand it and their ethical implications.
Use the correct words. You're not against AI, you're against corporations.

How good is AI at drafting legal documents?
As AI continues to transform nearly every industry, it's no wonder that the legal sector is also starting to embrace this technology. With the help of machine learning and natural language processing, AI can now assist lawyers in drafting legal documents. But just how good is AI at this task?
While AI has come a long way in recent years, it's important to remember that it's not a substitute for human expertise. While AI can help automate certain aspects of legal document drafting, it's still important to have a legal expert review and approve the final document.
That being said, there are several benefits to using AI in legal document drafting. AI can help identify potential errors or inconsistencies in legal documents, saving time and reducing the risk of errors. It can also help lawyers identify relevant legal precedents and case law to support their arguments.
As with any technology, there are limitations to what AI can do, but there's no doubt that it has the potential to revolutionize the way legal documents are created and reviewed.

re: artists and working-class solidarity
I'll never fucking forget back in like 2011-2012 asking fellow working class artists where they got their shitty enamel pins made and many of you refused to tell me because it wouldn't be special anymore.
I hope AI takes ur jobs 💖

Thoughts on AI and Art
So the recent war against AI created art gave me a lot to think about.
First you need to know that I'm a techie (I am studying computer science) and do art (mostly painting, digital and oil) as a hobby. So I am kinda from both worlds at the same time.
The main goal of the #stopAI is (i guess) to spread awareness how far AI art has already come in replacing the digital artist that makes their money from posting their artwork on social media (because lets be real, there is no stopping the big money people...). But also to stop the devs of the AI's from using the art of creators unauthorized for training their AI's. Because thats were the real theft happens.
If we are looking at the most popular (often even free to use) online tools that can replicate a style of an artist and paint a similar picture according to a new given prompt, its not hard to loose hope and think that maybe, the time for the artists has come. (Or at least will soon).
Even my techie self sometimes feels pretty hopeless when looking at e.g. GPT 3 (an AI for language and science) solve the coding exercise that I have been given more perfectly and faster than I ever could.
The only hope I can end my thoughts on, are always (maybe a little illusionistic):
something that AI has so far not managed is replicating our creativity...
AI is still trained on other creativity. And just starting to paint a lot of stop AI signs... That might actually work for some time at least.

AI created works are capitalistic : it steals people’s labor, costs cheap, creates quick and effortless art and stories so companies sell them quickly. That’s why they love it so much.

How do you create Animated Talking Characters for my clothing Instagram channel?
There are several ways to create animated talking characters for your clothing Instagram channel. Here are some options you might consider:
Use a character animation software: There are various software programs that allow you to create and animate characters, such as Blender, 3D Studio Max, and Maya. These programs can be quite complex, so they may be best suited for people with some experience in 3D animation.
Use a character animation tool: There are also various online tools and apps that allow you to create and animate characters more easily, such as GoAnimate and Animaker. These tools often have pre-made characters and templates that you can customize to create your own animations.
Use pre-made characters and animations: There are also various websites and marketplaces where you can purchase pre-made characters and animations, such as MotionElements and VideoHive. You can then use these to create your own videos and content for your Instagram channel.
Regardless of which approach you to choose, it's important to keep in mind that creating quality character animations can be time-consuming and require some technical skills. If you're not familiar with character animation or don't have the time to create your own animations, you may want to consider hiring a professional animator to do it for you.
