Ok so for Markiplier lore we already have established that actor mark is not engineer mark but I need to know if heist mark and date mark are actor mark. Because everyone I see mark in that suit it never feels right. He has the same mannerisms but it makes me wonder if that's the switch between actor and heist mark. One of the connects that ISWM has to AHWM is that dark uses the crystal for the box for heist because that's what we steal in AHWM.

But what bothers me is that heist mark know the captain as the captain and their buddy. So what must have happened in between heist and ISWM is that the captain was in hesit escaped out of jail and then went to space and then somewhere along the way they were also a detective and the director calls the captain to help him find mark. Of course the director was heist mark and refers to them as the captain. So heist mark and engineer mark are not the same.

Heist mark and date mark however are the same because of the reset and thats how ADWM starts.

Sometimes I wonder if the captain as a character is mute ( other than the fact that the person holding the camera cannot talk but I'm talking about this as if they are character not from a filming standpoint)

The Captain is morbidly curious about this universe and this could be because they are aware of the fourth wall. Like Warfstache the Captains mind also broke and that gave them access to the fourth wall and the choices. In Wkm they don't have any choices. But as we get into the ADWM AHWM and ISWM they are more and more aware of the narrative of the story and of the characters.

It also makes me wonder what the over all story for the captain is other than pure wonder and manic curiosity. Like despite their awareness of the fourth wall they are still a character in the show they are still making choices and growing through the motions of life.

Another thing that I find confusing is that the captain is a character who is running between two timelines. There is one timeline which is WKM, ADWM, AHWM,and then ISWM. But as we all know the timeline also runs backwards with ISWM then AHWM and then ADWM. The true ending of ADWM is Warfstache asking y/n or rather the captain of they know who they really are and it turns out to be Chica. But obviously that's just a gag and the narrative is unreliable and we have a situation of the unreliable narrator.

This has been a hyper fixation of mine for a while now so now I'm just super confused with the lore

There are two main reasons why Wilford is the only one not trapped playing a role in Actor Mark’s warped reality and the one who can take him out. One is that not only did he already have the ability to manipulate space-time while he was William, and the second is that he’s also (according to the explanation stream) Actor Mark’s brother.

Their powers come from the same source (the house/house entity) but manifest differently and they choose to use them in opposite ways. This is even reflected in the brothers’ catchphrases.

“Life is for the living/Life is ours to choose.” While the latter isn’t Mark’s catch-phrase (it’s Damien’s) he does wind up taking on this belief. Mark wants to live on after his “murder” as the hero/protagonist in his stories and chooses how the people he traps see the world until they don’t know what’s real anymore.

WMLW: Detective Abe Lincoln thinks he’s been chasing Wilford for years and his recollection of the events of WKM are hazy. Wilford helps him realize that he’s dead so he can accept the past and move on.

Damien: Damien thinks he’s been living with Celine in a cabin in the woods for a whole winter and has to chop down trees every day for firewood. He hears the events of WMLW break through and he starts realizing it’s not real.

AHWM: Mark takes the DA with him on a heist to steal an artifact that will help him warp reality and create new ones more easily. Dark has to pull them out of the story to try and convince them to stop helping him. He is aware of the time loops and alternate realities. Wilford pulls the DA into an interview and closes the artifact, preventing time from rewinding too far back. He complains that the DA is late for the interview and they’re actually on the verge of being both late and early. This segment’s also supposed to be a joke to get the viewer to write about their experience in the comment section of the video but it shows just how aware Wilford is of being in one of Mark’s stories.

ADWM: Mark makes the DA his romantic interest with himself as the lead and tries to convince them that Dark is the bad guy. Wilford helps the DA realize the “truth” and by showing them their reflection in a mirror they find out that they were really Chica all along. I know this is supposed to be a joke but it fits with the DA discovering the truth about being trapped in the mirror and not actually on a date with Mark.

Most, if not all, of the reoccurring “characters” in Mark’s stories that carry over from WKM, except for Wilford, are dead. I know the chef and butler aren’t confirmed to be the same characters across the videos but I’m assuming they are and never successfully escaped the house. Also Warden Murderslaughter is totally Abe who Mark forced into a new role and you can’t change my mind.

The other egos seem to be autonomous so they are either “extras” in Mark’s stories that he eventually cast aside, or he wrote new roles for himself to play and later discarded them. One notably has the same last name as him: Dr. Edward Iplier. In the jail route in AHWM, the cafeteria guard calls out a Mr. Mark Eye-plier and he corrects her pronunciation.

“Life needs a bit of madness.” William used his powers to hop around the house and have fun, and maybe jumpscare some people as a joke. It probably made playing hide-and-seek a real pain. He could effortlessly teleport by going through the liminal space between the real world and the Upside Down/Void. This is the same method the DA used to get from the room Celine hosted her seance in to Mark’s study/Abe’s investigation room. The difference is that William understood how to use the the space to his advantage and the DA got unexpectedly got pulled in by the house.

Wilford later uses his powers to carve out a little safe haven outside of Mark’s fake reality so he can host his interviews and pull the DA out of Mark’s stories. His understanding that reality is actually relative is what allows him to be aware that he’s in Mark’s stories. He also knows that the stories are running simultaneously and time doesn’t run linearly. He’s not forced to play a role because he beat Mark to the punch.

I think that after he met back up with Abe in WMLW and was reminded of his past, Wilford’s memory isn’t as fuzzy as Mark believes and his “crazy shooty bumbling idiot” routine is fake. Mark thinks he’s the only actor in the family, but he isn’t. Wilford knows Mark can check in on his stories at any time so he keeps up appearances by playing up his old trigger-happy and happy-go-lucky personality from his old life. His “flashes of sanity” post-WMLW are really him breaking character to warn the DA about Mark’s schemes.

Dark, Bim Trimmer, and the Host are the only ones in on the “joke.” They’re the only ones who can warp reality and leave the stories so it was easy to pull them into Wilford’s studio and explain it to them. They agreed it was safer for none of the egos to know so Mark wouldn’t be suspicious.

The reason they convene in what the fandom has dubbed Ego Inc. is because it’s in Wilford’s pocket world. Dark’s white noise prevents eavesdropping while the Host’s narrations can warn them if he’s close by.

Mark alters reality so people see things his way and Wilford alters it so they can see the truth.

Actor Mark’s uses his abilities to warp reality and trap people as his puppets in whatever role he wants them to play.

If Mark and Wilford are brothers why don’t they have the same last name? It’s because Mark Iplier is a stage name.

So iswm part 2 came out...FUC-

Spoiler warning proceed with caution⚠️

I have thoughts, sooo many thoughts and a lot more feelings about this, first of all found warfstache and YANCY MY BOYYY oh god I miss him, he even made a musical for us but we couldn't here it since mark said fuck you, but its still great. Also love how the date for our interview with warfstache is the same interview in heist which is just cool to me.

And then there's darkiplier and hooo boy, first of all we were right Dorine is Celine called it which is nice, and second of all WHAT THE FUCK was that, we saw dark....just the feet and hands and I suspect that is the most we see of him in iswm, but atleast its something? But now I'm confused because I was under the impression that iswm is the sequel to heist but the true ending kinda contradicts that with dark getting the warp core crystal thing and it was implied that it's the same thing as the crystal on the box which makes me wonder which came first? Is it iswm or ahwm or adwm.

Other egos or past characters or people we encountered, henry and chica are in this (SO CUTEE), and ofc Abe our beloved detective, we got stan the water man as our dad, game theory parody and Mack, rosanna is back just in puppet form, we got serial killer mark that looks awfully similar to his look in the drowned man, the chef opening up his own diner, and many many more.

You can tell Mark and his team worked on this with their heart and soul and it came out great, the set designs, the effects, the acting was soo beautifully done and actually made me cry in some parts. So proud of what mark has accomplished with a date with markiplier being a small valentine project to now in space with markipliier with cgi and lore, It's wonderful and I'm looking forward to the next big project.

Yeah it was. And yesterday I made two posts about the drop happening today at 9 AM. But thank you for this!

I ordered some stuff which is great!

But my plan was to get two metal posters, I bet they have a reason but just for one that is 18” x 24” is $190 CAD and with shipping that is $200. I can not afford that, maybe some other people can. I’m glad I got the paper posters cause the art looks so cool! For AHWM I couldn’t afford any merch and it sucked so at least this time around I have something! Also that Chica pin is so adorable! My favourite thing about out theories on who we really are is that I never found a connection between the DA from WKM and us from AHWM, ADWM, or ISWM

Like, the DA (us) became Dark after WKM. So technically we’re dead. And in DAMIEN we can see that Celine and Damien were working toward controlling the body.

There are theories that the “With Markiplier” shows are taking place in like a fantasy around the Manor, however I think we’re still someone different.

Because the DA is gone. Their broken body became Darkiplier.

So unless there’s a proper connection, I’ll stick with the whole “we’re Chica because ADWM ending” theory

Even though I don’t like that one as much.

sol im bored can you tell me about iswm

SITS U DOWN. ok so like. wkmverse/iswm/ect i was gonna focus on one fo them but i know i wont do that.

SO LIKE. ok. im gonna skip on the backstory idk ill infodump abt that if i ever force fc to watch wkm with me bc i have so many thoughts abt that and i cant put it into text BUT LIKE OK. skipping backstory means we skip who killed markiplier, wmlw and DAMIEN specifically bc i cant infodump abt DAMIEN or wilford motherloving warftstache w/o explaining all of wkm . so. that brings us to. a date with markiplier and a heist with markiplier. using them interchangeably bc im gonna be jumping around a lot.

A DATE WITH MARKIPLIER IS MESSED UP IN SUCH A WEIRD WAY i dont think we exactly Know why a lot of the stuff in it happens, like. ok we DO. kinda. but we dont. i think a lot if t can be put down to mark just wanting to mess around with it 'cause adwm was the first of the choose your own adventure plotlines, BUT. we get some GREAT things from adwm such as: darkiplier content. tyler (whom is theorized to be and iirc possibly confirmed to be benjamin from wkm but that's another plotline i cant infodump abt w/o explaining wkm) and ethan saying "bonjour" a bunch, the ending where there's aliens, the ending where we're revealed to be chica. and who could forget: being threatened with violence after not paying the bill.

HEIST IS. MORE COLLECTED. BUT STILL CHAOTIC. in ahwm mark and i/yn steal a priceless artifact from a museum;

which only gets referred to as "the box" - which is never explained in ahwm WHY mark and i planned to steal it but in iswm it's somewhat heavily implied/confirmed the box is basically its own miniature wormhole and thats why, through all of heist it can teleport mark and i and give us seemingly perfectly on time objects for situations we're in. now you may think "man it must take you guys a long time to get it right?" no thats the easy part. but from THERE theres a whole bunch of branching pathways such as: a tunnel with cultists. prison. the zombie apocalypse. a cave with indiana jones but markiplier. and more!

i'd give you my favorite endings from heist but its obviously the ones w dark and wilford. ofc. <3
