Saga: Release - 2
Writer: Akira
Season: Spring
Characters: Eichi, Tori, Tsumugi
Proofreading: hyenahunt
Translation: kotofucius
Eichi: Fufu. I shouldn’t be one to talk, considering how much I go on about the future, but don’t let the thought of sad partings bother you… and just enjoy all the happiness you have right now.
Tumblr media
Eichi: Fufu. I’m probably repeating myself, but staying put in one place will only poison your perception.
You’ll develop biases and prejudices. I can’t say that’ll be beneficial to your future.
Now that our revolution has taken place, it’s the perfect time to take a fresh new look at the big picture, including the unit system.
Why don’t we dismantle all the worn-out tools of old, and reconstruct anew that which we truly need in the present?
Well, we’re still struggling to clean up after Trickstar’s new revolution... so I suppose we don’t have the leisure to do that just yet.
Tori: Umm...?
Eichi: Ah, I’m sorry, Tori. It seems I have the bad habit of getting lost in my own thoughts.
Perhaps it’s because I’ve spent too much time being hospitalised... Rather than just talking to myself, I should communicate more with those around me.
Tumblr media
Tori: It’s okay. When you’re thinking of all those difficult things, forming a strategy for the future, you look so alive and wonderful, President. Geez, I could just keep falling for you over and over~♪
Eichi: Fufu. What’s the matter? You’re more affectionate than ever today.
You say such adorable things. Does working elsewhere make you miss home?
Tori: Yeah. Being in Rain-bows really is fun and fulfilling. But once Project-Saga’s over, we’ll all be on our separate ways; in the end it’s just a short pitstop.
...If I get too attached, I feel it’ll just be harder for me later.
Eichi: Fufu. I shouldn’t be one to talk, considering how much I go on about the future, but don’t let the thought of sad partings bother you... and just enjoy all the happiness you have right now.
Life is short, so fall in love, dear maiden -- right?
Tori: Mmu. I may be cute, but I’m no maiden, you know~
Eichi: It’s simply a figure of speech... Oh?
Tumblr media
Tsumugi: Umm, excuse me~?
Eichi: ......
...Well, whatever do you need, Aoba-kun? Thinking of dragging us fine to one of Switch’s performances again?
If you got hooked on whatever pleasure you derived from it, then my condolences. We might have previously gone along with you out of duty, but it’d be better for you not to think you can move us so easily.
Tsumugi: Ahaha. I guess you are angry about what happened the other day, after all?
But in order for Switch to do a showy debut and get a boost in popularity, we really needed to collaborate with an influential unit, you see...?
Tori: Err, if you’re really Aoba, then... I knew it! I’ve had a feeling since that performance! Could you be... Aoba Tsumugi-sama?
Tsumugi: Eh!? I’m not some bigshot worthy of a title as respectable as -sama, though...
Eichi: Fufu. You see, Tori is a fan of the old fine. I seem to be his favorite for some reason, even though I did all I could not to stand out.
Naturally, as you stood at the center of fine back then, he knows about you and respects you.
Tori: Yeah! Actually, I can’t believe myself! Here I am calling myself a fan but it took me ‘til now to notice?
Tsumugi: Ahaha. To be fair, I’ve started wearing glasses and changed my whole image. Back then, I made a conscious effort to play the part of a cheery and chipper character .
For just a fan, I’m sure that image would win out.
It isn’t your fault you couldn’t recognize me as the same guy from back then.
Eichi: Hmm, did you really change that much, though? I guess you do look a bit more ragged...?
Tsumugi: I wonder. ...Likewise, you have a different air about you now as well, Eichi-kun.
Tumblr media
Eichi: ? Why the sudden formality...? After all this time, what would you ever need from me?
Tori: Umm, should I leave?
Tsumugi: Ah, don’t feel obliged to. In fact, Himemiya-kun, as a fan of the previous fine, you might want to hear what I’m about to say.
You see... I’ve confirmed the current status of ex-fine Nagisa-kun and Hiyori-kun, whose unknown whereabouts had left us worried for a while.
Tori: Eh!? The two leading stars of the past fine!?
Yeah, I’ve been wanting to ask about them! The fans were all confused by what happened, since they resigned just like that.
We were kinda speculating that it was because they transferred, though.
Tsumugi: Mm~ Well, it’s more like we resigned simply because our contracts ended.
The situation was out of hand with Eichi-kun being hospitalized and all, so we couldn’t make an official statement.
We’re very sorry to have made all our fans worry so much.
Tori: Ah, no... there’s no need to apologize to me. It was hinted several times that you’d leave once the contracts ended, so it didn’t come off as such a shock.
But there was no official statement about it, which we’d never have imagined of fine up ‘til then...
So we just ended up assuming the worst, that’s all.
Eichi: ... Hmm, I’d like to hear more on Nagisa-kun and Hiyori-kun, too.
I’ve been on the lookout for any passing info, and I haven’t neglected gathering whatever news I can find...
But I’m no all-knowing god, so it’s inevitable that I’ll overlook and misunderstand some things.
And the place they’ve transferred to seems to excel at information warfare; with how hard it is to gain any inside info on them, they may as well be a black box.
Tsumugi: I can imagine. I heard they even have an organization for that specific purpose, called the Information Bureau.
The closest thing we have is the Broadcasting Committee, but their organization is even more authentic, almost like a military intelligence unit.
Tori: An intelligence unit... Huh, I think there’s something like that in the company my family manages, too.

Febri Talk Interview with Jin (Complete)
Tumblr media
Commissioned by the lovely @sodasexual again!
Part 1: overwhelmed by the power of friendship in “The☆Doraemons: Kaitou Dorapan no Chousenjou!”
Musician and creator Jin has been bringing countless topical works to the world, including “Kagerou Project”. In the first part of this serial interview, we had him talk about a work from the series “The☆Doraemons”, which he experienced in his childhood and continued to be influenced by for a long time.
A work that unexpectedly became one of the origins of “Kagerou Project”.
——Jin-san, we would like to ask you about anime shows that have had an influence on you, following in order from your infancy onwards, so would the first one be “The☆Doraemons: Kaitou Dorapan no Chousenjou!” (hereon, “The☆Doraemons”), which came out in the year 1997?
Jin: That’s right. I watched this one in the theaters when I was either 7 or 8 years old. It’s an animation short that was screened together with “Doraemon: Nobita no Neji-maki Toshi Bounen-ki”, and it had one hell of an impact on me. At the time, I was living in an isolated island in Hokkaido called Rishiri Island, so just getting to watch a movie was quite a spectacle in itself (laughs). Actually, not many animes were broadcasted in Rishiri Island to begin with. There were few channels, and other than that, they aired those black-and-white period dramas in cable TV, I guess.
——No, I think that last one is a stretch (laughs). Did you watch “Doraemon” because you liked it from the start?
Jin: I liked it a lot. But the so-called “The☆Doraemons” is a spin-off about six friends of different colors. If I were to talk about the contents of “Kaitou Dorapan” in a summarized way, it’s the story of the Doraemons receiving a letter of challenge from an mysterious enemy called Dorapan, then completely getting caught into his trap and falling into a pinch... And, surprisingly, Doraemon isn’t active at all in this movie (laughs).
——Aah, it’s a work where the Doraemon friends are the main characters, right?
Jin: That’s right. A duo that didn’t have much popularity among the friends, Dora-med III and Dora-rinho, were set as the main characters in this one (laughs). Of course, I didn’t go watch it thinking that Doraemon would participate actively, but he almost doesn’t do anything. Instead, we were shown these two, who are something like sub-characters, in a big scuffle. But when it ended, I began to really like Dora-med III and Dora-rinho.
——Ahaha. So you totally got into it.
Jin: They had something called a “Friendship Telephone Card”, which was introduced as a key item, and this “friendship” thing made the back of my nose sting – that was the kind of feeling I got from it. Dorapan, the one who plays the role of villain in this movie, attempts to take control of robots from all over the world using the power of the Doraemons’ Friendship Telephone Card. However, there’s actually a mastermind behind the scenes, and one heroine is taken hostage, so Dorapan is doing bad deeds because he has no choice. We find this out in the middle of the movie, and at that moment, Dora-rinho goes, “I see; so that’s what was going on” and voluntarily tries to sacrifice himself. By believing in self-sacrificing friendship, everyone was able to reach a happy ending. That kind of storyline was truly wonderful... To tell you the truth, the initial motif of Kagerou Project (hereon “KagePro”) was this movie.
Making KagePro out of wanting to create his own “Doraemons”.
——Eeh, is that so!?
Jin: I created KagePro because I wanted to write about friendship, or rather, I wanted to make my own “Doraemons”. I started KagePro when I was about 20 years old, as I was vaguely beginning to realize that friendship apparently doesn’t exist at that point in life (laughs). Also, same goes to music, of course, but among the books I was reading back then, quite a lot of them had cynical views. Although these stories were my own taste, I also had the impression that there was a generational trend in them, like “people shouldn’t look at this if they’re dumb” and “those who understand this thing are admirable”. Therefore, I did my best to pretend to be like that at first, but I gradually grew tired of it...
——Ahaha. You were getting out of breath.
Jin: That’s right. So, when I looked back, I thought, “I do like ‘Kaitou Dorapan’ after all”. Therefore, if I was going to make something by myself, I decided to use it as the theme. In that sense, amongst the things I watched in my childhood, this work was a turning point. After watching it in the theater for the first time, I watched it over and over again as rental video, and because of this, I even now remember the moments when the sound effects come in.
——Generation-wise, you’re precisely from the generation of “The☆Doraemons”.
Jin: Yeah, spot-on. Also, the Doraemons from “The☆Doraemons” are comical and cute, but on the other hand, they show us that they are extremely strong-willed characters. Moreover, the Doraemons are rich in individuality – as in, everyone is irregular and there are some characters that make you go, “Isn’t that a problem?” amongst them. For example, the wolf Dora-nichov can’t speak human language (laughs).
——I see! Thinking that way, I feel like I can see the points in common with KagePro.
Jin: Also, all of them are purely good guys. The fact that they’re all good people and only have one enemy is pretty awesome. I believe that this kind of thing has an influence on the KagePro series as a whole.
Part 2: paralyzed by the hardboiled worldview of “Cowboy Bebop”.
In the second part of this interview series, where we ask Jin about anime works that influenced him, we have “Cowboy Bebop”, a masterpiece still loved by many fans even now. Here, Jin, who works as both a musician and creator, discusses thoroughly about the appeal of it.
Learning the attitude and stance for creating things.
——You talked about how not many animes were aired in your homeland, but did you keep watching anime after that?
Jin: If you mean watching on TV, anime was what I enjoyed most. However, the shows on broadcast were limited, so when it comes to series that left an impression on me, it would be things like “Card Captor Sakura”, which I used to watch with my little sister. “Kinnikuman” was also re-aired and I liked it a lot. As expected, I was weak to “friendship” (laughs). When they were fighting for the throne or whatever, man, I cried, for real. This happened around the time I was in grade school, but when I got into middle school, I stopped watching anime entirely.
——And when you came back to it, it was right on time for...
Jin: For the series that I pointed out as second in line, “Cowboy Bebop”. Because my father had made up his mind to get his hands on a satellite television called SKY Perfect TV! I think he probably wanted to watch Discovery Channel, but back then, he also included Animax in the contract. And, by sheer coincidence, a re-run of “Cowboy Bebop” began right at that timing, around 2004 or 2005, I guess. I was a middle schooler then, and there were lots of CMs that went like, “Broadcast begins on X day of X month!” together with that opening theme by Kanno Youko-san.
——So that’s what caught your interest.
Jin: There was also the fact I’d been disconnected from anime for a while, so I watched the first episode not knowing anything. And the contents weren’t aimed at children at all (laughs). Dude sprayed an eye-drop drug into his eyes, went, “UWAH—!” and died, like.
——Ahaha. It was a shock.
Jin: “Cowboy Bebop” was my first time coming in contact with a hardboiled worldview. I was like, “What’s this? It’s so cool”. Until then, I had this impression that “anime was made for kids”, but for the first time, I felt like I was watching a drama. Plus, the story was interesting, so I was super hooked as I watched it, and while doing so, the episode “Jamming with Edward” (episode 9) had an impact on me.
——Satou Dai-san was the one who wrote the script for it, right? You later came to work together with Satou-san in “LISTENERS”.
Jin: That’s right. It was such an impact that it had me thinking, “You wouldn’t be able to do that in a TV drama”. And so, this ninth episode had me completely addicted to it, and in the end, I watched it up to the finale. Later on, when I began my own creations, I noticed that what I was doing overlapped with “Cowboy Bebop”, and when this happened, I realized I was doing something quite risky (laughs). To top it off, just when I thought, “There must be lots of animes like that out there”, there was surprisingly none.
The coolness of affirming that KagePro has both pop and hardcore songs and that this is what it is about!
——Ahaha. Did “Cowboy Bebop” have any influence on you? For example, on the music side...
Jin: Hmm... if you put it that way, maybe not (laughs). Only in the variety aspect of the narrative, as people call it. Each one of the 26 episodes has wholly different colors, so to say. They felt like a gashapon from which you couldn’t tell what was coming out next.
——Like, although there were episodes where they threw in comedy to their hearts contentment, there were also episodes that showed vigorous action.
Jin: When I think about it, there are also episodes that go through a simple approach by way of genres that even I would know. I think the creators must’ve had a lot of fun when making them. So when it comes to what influenced me, it I think it was the variation of songs. I think there probably aren’t that many composers like me, who make songs one by one and have no idea what song to write next.
——As in, you do it while intentionally deciding to change the tone and genre?
Jin: Rather than that, I guess it happens naturally. I was always the type who doesn’t listen to the same genre all the time – it’s like, “Today is rock day; tomorrow is punk day”. I believe it’s possible that “Cowboy Bebop” made me think this kind of feeling was valid. The themes also don’t have to be consistent, and even if you turn upside-down the things that you had been asserting in a previous episode, their value and meaning will still hold. Moreover, I didn’t think that the people who made “Cowboy Bebop” had to plan this stuff up in their heads and study about it so that they could put it to action. It just so happened that when they drew out the things they like and lined them up, it turned out the way it did.
——So they didn’t do it while aiming for that, but rather, it turned out to have a sense of variety to it when it was finished.
Jin: And I think it’s amazing because it validates itself with that. So I guess being able to say all we have to say is what actually matters (laughs). If I were to affirm, “This is what KagePro is about!”, then that’d be pretty much it. Even though there are both pop and hardcore songs in KagePro, nobody can say, “That doesn’t feel like KagePro”. That’s why I think that the coolness of proudly declaring, “That’s what it is!” is something I learned from Bebop. Like, “This is what’s cool”. It feels like, on my own accord, I accepted something that was like a stance to be taken when you create these kinds of things.
Part 3: obsessing over “Tokyo Godfathers”, which had developments where one couldn’t predict what lay ahead.
This is the third part of the interview series where the creator Jin talks about works that influenced him. Here, he discusses about a hidden masterpiece from the director Kon Satoshi, which also had a great influence on “Kagerou Project” and which he encountered during his vocational school years, while living a wasteful life.
——The third work is “Tokyo Godfathers” by Director Kon Satoshi, but when was it that you watched it?
Jin: It was during my vocational school years. After graduating from high school, I attended a vocational music school located in Sapporo, but my upperclassmen from that school taught me many bad ways of having fun (laughs). I used to buy lots of sick equipment. Then, obviously, I’d run out of money, so I worked to death in part-time jobs, and well, lived a wasteful life (laughs), but during that time, a friend from my class lent me a DVD of “Hidamari Sketch”. At first, I told him, “Nah, I’m not too into this kinda stuff”, but when I took it home and watched it, I wailed aloud.
——Ahaha.
Jin: That’s why I asked Asumi Kana-san (who voices Yuno) to play KagePro’s main heroine... Anyhow, “Hidamari Sketch” became the cue for me to start watching anime again. And Director Kon Satoshi was from Sapporo, so it was probably being featured in a video shop. “Tokyo Godfathers” is a 2003 movie, but I saw it in the video in 2008 or 2009.
——What piqued your interest about it?
Jin: It was tremendously well-done and fun, and on top of that, it was sharp – a work like no other up until then, I thought. A dramatic production with parallel storylines focusing on different characters is incorporated within the span of about an hour and half as if it weren’t enough. During that same time, there were also works by Mitani Kouki-san and Isaka Koutarou-san’s “Golden Slumber” was being made into live action, so I believe that the so-called multi-protagonist story kind of approach was being used in all sorts of places. But even among them, “Tokyo Godfathers” was outstandingly interesting. “Where the heck is this story heading to?” You can’t tell at all until the end. Three homeless people pick up a baby on Christmas night and try to take her to her mother, but as the story goes on, it gets to a climax like, “Does she even have a mother in the first place?”. Plus, we find out that the person who they thought to be the mother and handed the baby over to is actually someone who kidnapped her from a hospital. The story just keeps changing over and over.
As the story progresses, the characters’ pasts become visible. It was interesting that the past and present were firmly bound together.
——We can’t predict what comes next at all, huh?
Jin: So, the topic will go back to KagePro now: when I thought of writing a novel, first of all, I decided that I “wanted to do a multi-protagonist story”. To make a story like the one from “The☆Doraemons” into a multi-protagonist story. Back then, I really liked the type of novels that went on in first person – such as works by Isaka-san or Morimi Tomihiko-san, and also Yonezawa Honobu-san.
——I see, I see.
Jin: On the other hand, “Tokyo Godfathers” is structured so that the characters’ pasts can be seen more and more as the story progresses. As if the story progresses with the past mini-arcs as the main focus. Like, “Person A and Person B were actually parent and child!” – it was interesting that the past and the present were bound together so firmly. Moreover, the developments go on at an incredible speed, and there’s a proper catharsis at the end. Also, all the characters that show up in it have rich facial expressions.
——To begin with, the fact that the three main characters are homeless is a twist.
Jin: In the first place, it starts with the main heroine spitting onto people in the streets from a rooftop (laughs). I really like those sharp-edged points of it too. “Tokyo Godfathers” has a content that can be written even if the protagonists were parent and child from an ordinary household. But through making the protagonists homeless, it became extremely vivid.
——It’s as if it turns them into down-to-earth characters and gives you a sensation that they connect with the audience’s “present”.
Jin: If I were to speak of other words by Director Kon Satoshi, I also think that “Paprika” and “Sennen Joyuu” are amazing. But on the other hand, I end up thinking, “They’re so wonderful”. As in, “Awesome, aren’t they? I don’t get them very well, though” (laughs). But “Tokyo Godfathers” is a candid form of entertainment that even an idiot like me can instantly get hooked on. The fact that I indeed want to keep doing entertainment resides strongly inside me.
——Listening to you talk like this, Jin-san, it makes me think that the books you read and movies you watched because you liked them reflect straightforwardly in your own manner of expressing yourself.
Jin: I myself think that I’m usually straightforward (laughs). Rather than “I want it to be seen like this” or “I want people to think of it like that”, I prioritize “I want to do this” and “this is fun”, so to say. By multiplying “The☆Doraemons” to “Tokyo Godfathers”, it turned into “Kagerou Project” (laughs). I feel like that’s my foundation.

Where should I start from really... if we don't really count the ones from my little 'trip to Egypt' yes I actually had quite a few friends that really had a big impact on my life during my actual 'going to a real school' since I was home schooled for a long period of time during my 'adapting sessions' but I don't want to go way back.. Anywho! This is Fumiko , even her name means beautiful and let me tell you she was the prettiest girl I have ever seen , she was very popular and in all honesty I wonder how we even became friends with her in the first place... must be that one project we had to work on. She was nothing like the other girls , her soul and heart was so pure and full of happiness. Literally when we would hang out I feel like she gleams hahha~. She was really sweet and caring , she always helped me with a lot of different things when it came to homework or some girl advice , or well.. just in general with anything . Fumiko was indeed something out of the ordinary and I am glad I got to know her! She was into fashion if I remember correctly .. she was a huge maniac on making accessories , she even made me a bunch! I was honestly kind of sad to let her go since she decided on studying in Europe , because they offered her a really good opportunity to help her talents develop even more! Truly one amazing person that had a huge impact on my life.
Tumblr media
-> "This card is super rare! Joe - san would you like to take a look?"
Ahh and how can I forget about Kota... the little nerd of our little group. Me and him got the really bad side of the bullying , but funny enough our friend 'Touma' was one of his bullies back then , when he would constantly bug him to do his homework ... I don't remember well the story between those two , but I do remember that they became friends after some period of time. Who would of thought that a nerd will become friends with a delinquent ? Kind of silly right? But besides that , he was a real sweetheart , in all honesty I always enjoyed his company because our conversations would always drift every kind of direction since I was always so interested in some of his hobbies , since I never really had the time to experience the majority of 'normal' things that a person can do with their free time , he was always showing me something new . He was very smart for his age... no wonder why Touma picked on him so much... but let me tell you something.. he used to be a very shy and quiet boy most of the time , until he began to hang out with us. In all honesty I am so happy to see how much more confidence he has now and the amount of passion he has behind everything he does is just amazing!! He even tried to teach me one of those games he plays... but it didn't end well ahaha~. However an important thing I can't forget is that he really had a huge crush on Fumiko ~ it was adorable. I really hope to see him again one of these days... I wonder how he is doing and how far is he with his studies to pursue his career...?
Tumblr media
..->"Ehhh , why do you always have to be so dramatic Joe.. jeez.."
Not gonna lie I still wonder how I became friends with Touma in the first place too... I mean it was so much easier to befriend Fumiko but this dude was a real... mystery to me always. Maybe it's because I kind of saved his ass that one time and he was kind of stunned by my fighting talent that we continued to bump into each other more often and started to talk. He was a delinquent and that's no secret. Touma always got himself into fights , detentions , the teachers were constantly on his case ... he had friends in the past that he kind of ditched because of many conflicts so I guess he has never really known a real friend to begin with. Touma doesn't really talk much about his own past experiences , that's the one reason that always left me curious upon why is he the way he is. He was kind of lazy , always bugged nerds to do his homework , but after he started hanging out with us he began to try and better himself little by little... well it was basically the three of us constantly nagging at him that he needs to pick up his lazy ass and do better because he was not going to graduate. He never did have many plans for the future , he was always interested in motorcycles and all that mechanical type kind of deal. I gotta admit the things he fixes and does is pretty impressive . But regardless behind that stubborn butthead , there was a big heart and he really appreciated that he got to know friends he can count on after all this time... heh guess him and I aren't really that different on that case huh? I wonder if fate will get us to stumble upon each other again... I really miss them.

Sogo Osaka RabbiTube Rabbit TV Part 1: Spending Time With Sogo
Part 2 | Part 3
Staff: ...Now, on to the RabbiTube project.
Staff: Our plan is to introduce the videos by featuring clips on NEXT Re:vale!
Staff: We'd really appreciate it if you could show a side of yourselves that people don't usually get to see on TV. It's a pleasure to be working with you!
Momo: We've got high hopes for you guys!
Yuki: Feel free to fully expose yourselves to the public.
Mitsuki Izumi: Ahaha, please be gentle with us! Looks like I'm gonna have to do a RabbiTube study marathon..!
Gaku Yaotome: By the way, Tenn, I saw you watching RabbiTube videos the other day. Do you know any good ones?
Tenn Kujo: ...I was just watching cat videos.
Gaku Yaotome: Cats, huh. That's not gonna help us learn anything.
Ryunosuke Tsunashi: ...I think they might help! You could learn ways to entertain and soothe people...
Gaku Yaotome: Ryu, not all of us are gonna be able to do that...
Yuki: ...I'm liking the idea of Kitty Gaku.
Tenn Kujo: ...Pfft...
Gaku Yaotome: Tenn, why're you laughing!?
Riku Nanase: Kitties..! So could it be like a video of Iori going into a cat café?
Iori Izumi: Why do I have to go to a cat café!?
Yamato Nikaido: I'm not too excited about making videos like that, either...
Tamaki Yotsuba: I wanna do a pudding tasting!
Sogo Osaka: ...Personally, I'd like to rank my top 100 spices from all around the world...
Nagi Rokuya: And I shall hold a Cocona watch party!
Mitsuki Izumi: You guys aren't bringing anything new to the table!
Iori Izumi: ...Actually, I suppose animal videos do have their appeal, despite how banal they are...
Riku Nanase: Did you say something, Iori?
Iori Izumi: No, nothing.
Momo: Ahaha! Great, you're already brainstorming ideas!
Momo: You've all got the right idea! We wanna see you act natural for your RabbiTubes!
Yuki: Let's have a fun year doing this.
IDOLiSH7 & TRIGGER: Yessir!
- - - -
Riku Nanase: We're going to be RabbiTubers for our birthday project this year..!
Sogo Osaka: All the group chats up until now were fun, so it's kind of a shame that we won't be doing one this year.
Mitsuki Izumi: ...Fair enough. It'll be awesome to make videos for our fans, but I wish we could have our own celebrations too!
Yamato Nikaido: It's become kind of a tradition by now.
Nagi Rokuya: ...We do not work together as much as we used to. Though I understand that it is difficult to match all our schedules...
Tamaki Yotsuba: Do we not get to eat Mikki's cakes this year?
Mitsuki Izumi: The cakes are the one thing we're gonna make for sure! Right, Iori!?
Iori Izumi: Yes. I'll help, too.
Riku Nanase: Hmm... Celebrations...
Riku Nanase: Ah! Why don't we all go somewhere together for our birthdays?
Riku Nanase: I guess we probably can't all go... But we can get our manager to arrange it so at least some of us can hang out!
Mitsuki Izumi: Going out, huh... That does sound like a nice change of pace from all the group RabbitChats!
Yamato Nikaido: It's a shame that we won't all be able to go, but getting to choose a spot does make it feel more special. ...You should take me to a beer brewery, by the way.
Mitsuki Izumi: Sounds like you've already got one in mind!
Tamaki Yotsuba: Let's take lots of pics and videos for the guys who can't go. We can send them over RabbitChat.
Nagi Rokuya: OH! A wonderful idea. It will make us all feel as if we are there.
Iori Izumi: I'm sure uploading them to Rabitter would make many people happy, as well.
Sogo Osaka: That sounds fun..! Let's ask our manager about it tomorrow.
Riku Nanase: Yep! ...Looks like we're going to have pretty fun birthdays again!

Tamaki Yotsuba: Ta-dah! Pretty cool, huh!?
Sogo Osaka: T-this is...
Riku Nanase: A DIY shop! They only accept one group reservation per day, so we figured it wouldn't get crowded if we came here.
Tsumugi Takanashi: Tamaki-san and Riku-san found this place for you.
Sogo Osaka: I see. So that's why you asked me if there was anything I wanted to try doing the other day, Riku-kun.
Riku Nanase: Ehehe. And you said you wanted to do DIY somewhere other than the dorms, since Tamaki gets scared whenever you take out a screwdriver!
Tamaki Yotsuba: Wait... You're gonna use one today..?
Sogo Osaka: Huh? Of course, that's what DIY is for.
Tamaki Yotsuba: Can't you just use a drill or something!?
Sogo Osaka: A drill... It's true that I'll need something powerful, but I'd like to keep this experience more authentic by not relying on tools too much.
Riku Nanase: Are you saying drills don't scare you, Tamaki?
Tsumugi Takanashi: Um, Sogo-san, what were you planning to make today?
Sogo Osaka: Hmm. I figured it might as well be something we can all work on together...
Tsumugi Takanashi: So something big?
Tamaki Yotsuba: How 'bout a table for our back yard? Mikki said he wanted to get one!
Riku Nanase: Oh yeah, he did! He said we could eat outside, since the weather's been getting warmer.
Sogo Osaka: I see... Yeah, that sounds good! Let's make a big table.
Tamaki Yotsuba: Awesome! We're building a table!
Riku Nanase: Can't we get the materials here, too?
Tsumugi Takanashi: Yes, the tools are all rentals, and you can get materials from over there!
Sogo Osaka: Okay, let's go.

Sogo Osaka: Hmm...
Tamaki Yotsuba: What's the holdup, So-chan?
Sogo Osaka: I'm not sure what wood we should use...
Riku Nanase: Does the wood we pick make a big difference?
Sogo Osaka: If we're going to keep the table outside, then it needs to be made with something that can withstand the elements.
Sogo Osaka: If we take into account the cost factor and beginner friendliness, this western redcedar or SPF lumber might be...
Tamaki Yotsuba: Western... huh?
Tsumugi Takanashi: You really know your stuff, Sogo-san...
Sogo Osaka: ...Yep, this one. Let's go with the western redcedar.
Tsumugi Takanashi: Alright! How big should we make it..?
Sogo Osaka: Let's see... Tamaki-kun, Riku-kun. What would you first like to eat when this table is finished?
Tamaki & Riku: Barbecue!
Riku Nanase: Ahaha, we both had the same idea!
Tamaki Yotsuba: Obviously you gotta eat barbecue if you're outside!
Riku Nanase: Yep! I want to roast up all kinds of stuff!
Tamaki Yotsuba: Like what?
Riku Nanase: Pineapple!
Tamaki Yotsuba: Pineapple!? That's not meat!
Riku Nanase: All the fancy barbecues do fruits, too. That's what Yuki-san told me!
Sogo Osaka: Hehe, okay. In that case, the table should be big enough to fit large platters.
Tsumugi Takanashi: Right! Let's get the biggest lumber set they have.
Sogo Osaka: Thank you, manager. Can you two help us out, too?
Tamaki Yotsuba: Duh! We're gonna surprise 'em with the coolest table ever!
Riku & Sogo: Yeah..!
- - - -
Sogo Osaka: ........
Tamaki Yotsuba: ........
Sogo Osaka: ........
Tamaki Yotsuba: S-So-chan...
Sogo Osaka: ...What?
Tamaki Yotsuba: Maybe you should use the screwdriver, after all...
Sogo Osaka: Huh..? Are you sure? You said you wanted me to use the drill...
Tamaki Yotsuba: Yeah... I take it back. You're even scarier with that thing.
Riku Nanase: Why are you scared of Sogo-san? He's always so nice.
Tamaki Yotsuba: ...Rikkun. Some things you're better off not knowing.
Riku Nanase: Ahaha, you're starting to sound like Yamato-san!
Sogo Osaka: I don't really get it, either... But I guess I'll just use this, then.
Whiiiiiiiirrrrrr
Riku Nanase: Whoa! I didn't think it'd be that loud!
Tamaki Yotsuba: ...Pretty freaky, huh!?
Tsumugi Takanashi: We should get Sogo-san's enthusiasm on camera..!
Tamaki Yotsuba: Hey Rikkun, that leg's on backwards!
Riku Nanase: Huh..!? Ah, you're right!
Tamaki Yotsuba: Holy crap, it's just like a haniwa sculpture!
Riku Nanase: ...Hehe... D-don't make me laugh, Tamaki! I'm holding a hammer!
Tamaki Yotsuba: Get a load of this haniwa, manager!
Tsumugi Takanashi: O-okay..!
Riku Nanase: It's not a haniwa! Hehe...
Whiiiiiiiirrrrrr
Tamaki & Riku: Whoa..!
Sogo Osaka: Ah, sorry. Did I startle you?
Sogo Osaka: ...Wait, that leg is on backwards...
Riku Nanase: We made a little mistake...
Sogo Osaka: Hehe... It's kind of like a haniwa sculpture.
Riku Nanase: Huh!?
Sogo Osaka: ...Did I say something strange..?
Riku Nanase: No, you didn't! I was just surprised by how similar you and Tamaki's instincts are..!
Tamaki Yotsuba: ...Ugh... I really don't like that...
Sogo Osaka: Instincts..?
Riku Nanase: It's nothing, don't worry about it! Right, manager!?
Tsumugi Takanashi: Right..! Let's put a haniwa in front of the table and take a picture..!
Riku Nanase: Let's! Tamaki, Sogo-san, c'mere!
Sogo Osaka: Okay. Is this a good spot..?
Tamaki Yotsuba: Rikkun, that was just coincidence, we're not starting to think the same!
Riku Nanase: Whatever, just smile for the picture!
Tsumugi Takanashi: Say cheese..!

Part 7
Since the spontaneous beach date in Santa Monica, time seemed to blend seamlessly from one day to the next. Nearly three, blissful weeks had flown by in a blink of an eye, and your relationship with Keanu blossomed like a fresh flower in the spring. The connection had grown more profound when the two of you crossed the line between friendship and romance, the sweet kiss on the sandy shores being the final push you needed.
The days that followed felt something akin to the beginning of the honeymoon phase in a relationship. Your parents had been right; Keanu was a good man who loved you very much. Each day he was winning over your heart more and more. He treated you like a queen with a tender adoration, unlike no other. He made you feel things you didn't believe anymore, pulling you away from the past you've known and despised, and replacing it with moments much better.
Keanu had made it his mission to bring you to all of the favorite places you used to go together. He took you to a fancy restaurant up in the hills, an art gallery you spent hours at, and most recently, a botanical garden where you found out about your newest affinity for flowers. Everywhere you went, Keanu shared with you cute little anecdotes from the last time you visited, adding more stories to cherish in your heart forever.
Along with that, you were also unable to keep your hands off of each other. Touches seemed to linger a little longer, and holding hands while out in public became the norm. You realized how much you were addicted to kissing Keanu, and how your heart would melt with every adoring look he gave after pulling away.
Sometimes, you would steal a kiss from Keanu when he least expected it. He would be in the midst of telling you about his day at the Arch office when suddenly, you would lean in and kiss the living daylights out of him. After a moment of surprise, he would quickly kiss you back, his lips perfectly melding with yours as he held you close. You didn't know of another man who could kiss you breathlessly like Keanu, and deep inside, you didn't want to.
You only wanted him.
Though the two of you had gotten closer over the last few weeks, you didn't miss the slight sadness hiding behind his eyes. Whenever you tried to get Keanu to open up about his feelings, he was often reluctant to do so, answering with short, vague responses that barely skimmed the surface. Something was clearly troubling him, and it was a bit worrisome that he couldn't tell you why.
But you still trusted him. Perhaps it was quite naive of you to believe that he has done nothing wrong, but he never gave you a reason not to. Your best guess was that he continued to blame himself for your accident. There could have been a quarrel that night, causing you to leave the house, which wasn't unusual for you to do so. After all, you did have a bad temper, and a bad temper was typically followed by impulsive decisions, usually unfortunate ones.
Such as driving in the dark, in the middle of a nasty storm.
And if you were correct, then Keanu shouldn't feel guilty about what had happened, and he needed to understand that.
"Y/N?"
A gentle voice spoke your name, and you glanced up, seeing Harry, the receptionist at the office. Your doctor had cleared you to return to work earlier that week, and you were excited to finally have something to do rather than stay at home all day. You weren't sure what exactly your job entailed, but being that it's related to one of your passions, you couldn't wait to get started.
"Hey, Harry," you smiled as you stood up from your seat, smoothing out the wrinkles from your blouse.
"Nicholas is ready for you in his office," the older gentleman informed you. "It really is great seeing you again here. Everyone was so worried when we got word of your accident and the amnesia. I almost didn't believe it until you walked in here and didn't recognize me right away. But all that matters is that you're fine now, and you're back."
"Thank you. I appreciate the card you sent me while I was in the hospital. It was lovely of you to do that."
"Of course, honey. You and I were inseparable, and I wish you could remember the shenanigans we've done here."
"Me too," you added. "Don't worry, one day we'll get lunch together and catch up."
"I can't wait." Harry beamed brightly, leading the way to Nicholas' office.
Stopping in the hallway just several feet from your boss' door, Harry turned around to face you. "You ready?"
"As I'll ever be," you answered, sensing the slight jitters in your body.
"Don't worry, Nick is a nice guy. You're going to love him," Harry responded before approaching the office and knocking lightly on the wooden door. "Sir, she's here."
Seconds later, the door swung open, revealing a tall man with a bright smile, joy and relief emanating from his face as his eyes settled on you. He was younger than you had expected him to be, more charming and good-looking, too. You felt Harry softly squeeze your shoulder before walking away, leaving you alone with Nicholas.
"I can't believe that you're back," he said, stepping to the side and allowing you to enter his office. "When Harry mentioned that you were coming to visit today, I was ecstatic. We've missed you around here. Well, mostly me because I thought I had lost the best assistant I've had."
Sitting down in front of his desk, you studied the walls around the room. It was decorated with what you assumed were his best works, as well as the plaques, certificates, and awards he had received for his talent. According to Molly, Nicholas was very well-known in the industry, and you were lucky to have worked alongside him.
"Impressive, huh?" You heard him say, and you shifted your gaze forward. "It took years of hard work and dedication. Not impossible as some people may think."
"I didn't pursue a career in this at first because that's exactly what I had thought—it was impossible."
Nicholas nodded. "That wasn't your mindset any more after you started working with me. You have the talent and tenacity. I could see you owning a successful business one day."
"Really?" You smiled at him.
"Surely," he replied, sliding a portfolio towards you. "Here, these are your most recent works. Back in January, we were doing this big fashion shoot in Prague. Soon after it was over, we went to Paris and then Milan. Your gift really shone at that time, and I'm very proud of how far you've come."
Flipping through the photographs, you couldn't believe that this what you were now doing for a living. It certainly was a step up from those boring 9 to 5 jobs you used to have.
"We actually have another project for a client coming up soon. It'll be a week in Japan, and I was hoping that you'll be well enough to come."
"That sounds amazing, and it would be an honor," you began, closing the portfolio and handing it back to Nicholas. "But I'm not sure if it’s the best idea to do so soon. I don't think I'm as good now than I was before the crash."
"Nonsense," Nicholas chuckled. "You are a natural, and I've known that since the very first day you walked in here. I'll tell you what, just think about it and get back to me in a week or two. I would really love to have you back on our team again."
"Okay," you nodded your head, accepting his suggestion. "I'll think about it and let you know if my decision changes."
"Good," he grinned, giving you two thumbs up before getting up from his seat. "Now, let me show you around and re-introduce you to everyone else. I'm sure they're all excited to see you."
---
You were practically skipping out of the building at the end of the day, overwhelmed with excitement knowing that you would be officially back to work next Monday. Although you wouldn't be doing everything you were usually responsible for, Nicholas was willing to use the time you're there to train you again.
As you walked to the quiet parking lot across the street, you heard the clicking of a camera shutter, a sound that was unmistakable in your ears. There was a sudden flash of bright light, followed by another click, whirr, and repeat. It was coming from behind you, you could tell, and your feet began picking up the pace. You could already spot Keanu's car which you had borrowed parked at the very end of the lot, and you quickly searched for the keys inside your purse.
"Damn it," you muttered when you stumbled, dropping your bag and its contents all over the concrete.
Your heart thumped wildly in your chest as you caught a glimpse of the stranger approaching you. It wasn't that you were scared that he might hurt you. You had become somewhat used to the presence of paparazzi whenever you and Keanu were out and about. But this was the first time that you were alone, cornered by one, and you didn't know what to expect.
"Here, let me help you, Y/N," the man's deep voice sounded as he crouched right beside you, a camera ready in his hand.
"No, it's fine," you gruffly spoke, grabbing your belongings and tossing them back into the purse as fast as you could. "Please, just leave me alone."
"Hey, there's no need to be worried," he assured. Though he wasn't menacing, you could tell that trouble lay ahead the more he spoke to you. "I only want to talk, that's all."
Finally, you stood up and swung your purse over your shoulder, walking briskly towards your vehicle. "No, I don't want to talk to you."
"Listen, Y/N, I'm running a story here about you and your boyfriend Keanu," the man trailed closely behind you. Merely a few steps more, you thought to yourself, and you would escape his bold intrusiveness. "There's been reports of your break-up before the accident—"
"Break-up?" you halted for a brief second, the mention of it catching you off-guard. Turning your head, you looked at the man in the eye. "You must be mistaken."
You didn't know why you were still talking to him. What you should be doing was getting inside the car and driving back home.
Back to Keanu.
But your mind couldn't shake away the strange feeling unexpectedly washing over you. You drew in a shallow breath, unable to ignore a certain uneasiness. You dared not to ask anything further, afraid that the man's answer would be nothing but hearsay. Yet, you remained intrigued, not fully understanding why. It sounded familiar as if it wasn't the first time you had heard it.
"Yeah, break-up," the man carefully nodded. "The two of you hadn’t been seen together in months. There were reports of tension between you and Keanu for a while. Surely this rings a bell, yes?"
You stayed silent. According to Keanu, no one outside your family and a select number of friends knew about your amnesia. His team hasn't caught wind of any article mentioning your current condition either, and you wanted to keep it that way.
"I-I have to go," you stammered out before promptly opening the driver's side door and sliding inside.
From the rearview mirror, you could see the man taking more pictures of you, even as you pulled out of the parking space. You drove away from the building and further down the street, turning into a convenience store lot once you were sure that you had gotten far enough. Putting the car in park, you sat there for a moment, hands still gripping the wheel as doubt gnawed at your guts.
The quiet purr of the engine filled the empty air, offering itself as a fleeting distraction from the hurricane of thoughts swirling inside your head. You didn't want to believe what some stranger had said to you, but you couldn't easily brush it off. It perturbed you, causing you to second guess everything you know, what Keanu has told you.
The perfect relationship you had painted— the one deeply ingrained in your mind for some time— was now falling apart. It crumbled down the more you tried to fit the pieces of the puzzle, your heart both seeking and fearing the truth. You had always ignored the possibility that Keanu could have been lying to you, pushing the idea of it away because you wanted to hold onto the happiness.
But perhaps you were indeed that naive after all.
---
Keanu flipped back to the first page of the script he had finished reading, thoroughly enjoying the plot and the storyline of the character he was being asked to play. He could see himself accepting the role and working on the movie scheduled to shoot early next year. The only thing holding him back once again was you.
Things between him and you were going great, to say the least. It felt like everything was back to normal. The kind of normal which Keanu had missed so dearly and at one point, thought that the two of you would never get to experience again. This entire journey of showing you the memories that you've lost was also reminding him of what was special about you. It reminded him of why he fell in love with you, something he had forgotten before the accident.
You would be coming home anytime soon, so Keanu decided to simply wait and discuss with you about the upcoming project. As he sat there on the couch, scrolling mindlessly through the hundreds of emails on his phone, another text came in from Molly, and he heaved out a sigh. Opening the notification, he then read the words on the screen, realizing that it was the same question she has been asking him for weeks.
Have you told her yet?
No, Keanu typed out and quickly hit send.
When will you? It's been weeks, Keanu. She deserves to know the truth.
Ignoring Molly's response, he deleted the messages and set his cell down on the coffee table. Keanu was lucky that she had not mentioned anything about it yet to you despite how often you and Molly were talking now. He knew it would only be a matter of time before she told you, however, either on purpose or a slip of the tongue. Keanu should be grateful that Molly was giving him the chance to confess to you himself instead of hearing it from someone else.
As if it fared any better the last time.
Keanu was mulling over his predicament when he heard the car pulling into the driveway. Quickly, he got up and headed to the front door, ready to greet you and ask you how your day went. But when he stepped outside and saw the crestfallen look on your face, the smile he had on faltered, withering away as he hurriedly met you halfway.
"Hey, what's wrong? Did something happen?" Keanu probed, bringing his hands up to hold the sides of your face. You didn't even glance up as you pushed him away, silently walking past him. You almost made it to the door when you paused, your body tense as it slowly spun around to face him.
"Ke," you said his name in a whisper, your teary gaze meeting his own. You opened your mouth again to speak, but no other words would come out. Keanu waited as you attempted to collect yourself, but your chest continued to rise and fall with rapid breaths. "I-I can't… There are just too many thoughts in my head. I-I feel so scattered."
Exhaling deeply, Keanu recognized it almost immediately. You were clearly overwhelmed, and he knew a way to calm you down. Closing in the distance between you and him, he placed a palm on your cheek, urging you to look at his eyes. "Do you trust me?"
"I-I don't know," you stuttered lowly, much to Keanu's shock. "I don't know what to think anymore."
"Then let me help," he spoke softly. His hand moved down to grasp yours, tugging it slightly as he began heading towards the garage, encouraging you to follow.
Punching in the code, the door opened slowly, revealing his array of motorcycles inside. Keanu led you to his most treasured bike, his sleek and elegant black Norton Commando which had become your favorite one to ride with him. He caught the hesitation etched in your features, so he gave your hand a reassuring squeeze.
"I need you to trust me right now, can you do that?"
You shrugged, eyes remaining downcast. "What are we doing?"
"We're going for a ride," Keanu answered before swiftly retrieving two helmets and the keys by the back wall. "Here, put this on while I wheel the bike out."
Moments later, Keanu was on the motorcycle with you sitting behind him. Your arms were tightly wrapped around his waist, afraid of losing balance. The bike idled underneath as he glanced over his shoulder, seeing you looking back at him.
"Don't worry, just relax and hold on," he said over the rumbling sound of the engine running.
Pushing the kickstand up, Keanu twisted the handlebars and smoothly pulled out of the driveway and onto the quiet street. Usually, he would have gone at a faster speed but decided to drive a mile or two under the posted limit. He wanted you to get used to the feeling of riding a bike again, which he hoped was currently working.
He felt you leaning in close, your chest resting on his back as he carefully navigated up and down the winding roads. The cool nighttime breeze blew gently into Keanu's face, but all he could focus on besides the path ahead was the heat radiating from you. A familiar warmth spread throughout his body as you clung on to him.
Yet another thing he has missed.
Reaching a red light, Keanu placed a foot down to steady the bike, waiting for the signal to change. He then looked back at you, noticing how your eyes had softened and the small smile on your lips. "Are you okay?"
You gave him a nod. "Yeah. I actually quite like this."
Keanu removed a hand from the handlebar and placed it above the one splayed on his abdomen. He intertwined his fingers with yours, allowing the simple touch to bring you comfort and reassurance. Eventually, the light turned green, and he started to drive again, the destination in mind just another mile up ahead.
Slowing down as he reached a bend, he brought the bike to a stop along the side of the road and shut off the ignition. Keanu slid his helmet off, brushing his messy locks back as you did the same.
"Is this…" you trailed off, seeing the bright lights of Los Angeles in the distance, the scenic view in front of you nearly taking your breath away. "This is the overlook from that picture back at the house."
Keanu smiled as he took your hand and began strolling through the grassy hill, bringing you closer to the edge. The sky was like a dark, infinite canvas with millions of twinkling stars painted upon it. They shone brilliantly in your eyes that were filled with wonder and awe. He led you to a wooden bench, gesturing for you to sit before taking the space next to you.
There was silence, and as much as Keanu wanted to break it, he let you bask in it for now. The overlook was a special place for both of you, not only because it was where he kissed you for the first time. It was the place you went to when life got too stressful, and you needed peace. It was a place for you to get away for a little while just to think.
"When I left the office, something happened," you revealed, your attention still on the skyline. "A guy approached me, one of those paparazzi, and he said we broke up before the crash."
Keanu's breath stalled as your glossy gaze slowly shifted to him.
"I know I shouldn't be paying them any attention or believe a word that they say," you sighed. "But it stuck to me and left me wondering if there's any truth to it."
This was it. It was Keanu's time to finally come clean. This was his opportunity to tell you what truly happened that night and the months leading up to it. As he sat there staring into your pleading eyes, he could already sense the hurt in them, and Keanu knew he would only be adding more.
"We didn't break up," he said tautly, his voice thick. "But for a while, we were in a bad place in our relationship."
"A bad place?" You repeated shakily. "What happened?"
Keanu licked his dry lips, his eyes flickering down in shame. "We were fighting a lot. I was doing a movie out of town, and the distance made it worse. I'd promise that I'd be home to spend time with you but never followed through. When I did come back, I let out all of my stress on you and pushed you away whenever you tried to get close. You were growing tired of it—of me. Meanwhile, I just ignored it."
Truth.
"The night of your accident, we got into a huge argument. I had said so many hurtful things to you that I still can't believe those words came out of my mouth," he continued, running a hand over his face.
Half-truth.
Keanu still couldn't force himself to admit it, the real truth. No matter how hard he tried, he just couldn't say it. It was already difficult for him to tell you pieces of the story. The memories of you and him screaming at each other and hurling insults broke his heart all over again.
If there was one thing Keanu had learned that night, it was that he couldn't lose you. He has gone through tragedy after tragedy for years, and he didn't want you to be another one of his devastating losses. He believed that he'd make up for his mistakes later on and prove to you how much he regretted making them.
Prove to you that he still loved you despite what he had told you before you stormed out of the house.
"Y/N?" He murmured, his hand coming to rest on your thigh, gently shaking you out of your daze. "Please, say something."
You blinked at him as you placed your hand on top of his. "We all make mistakes, Keanu."
"I know, and I didn't want to tell you because I was scared."
You knitted your brows. "Scared of what?"
"That you'd leave me. I was scared that if I told you that we were at the end of our ropes, you wouldn't stay. But I need you, Y/N. I love you, and I can't see myself spending a day without you."
"I don't like lies, Keanu." Shaking your head, you cupped the side of Keanu's face, the pad of your thumb brushing against the prickly scruff along his jaw. "You should have told me this earlier."
A single tear streaked down his cheek, and you wiped it away. "I know."
“But is that all?”
Swallowing thickly, Keanu nodded once.
Lie.
“Okay, I believe you.”
He exhaled a long breath. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to keep that from you.”
"You don't have to be perfect, Ke, because no one on this earth is. I might not remember how I felt back then, but all that matters is what I'm feeling now."
"And that is?"
You smiled softly at him before nuzzling your face into the crook of his neck. "I feel like I'm falling in love with you."
With his free hand, Keanu tilted your chin up so that your eyes could meet. Though there was less weight on his shoulders now, he had yet to share with you one last important detail of the story. He's now caught in a battle between telling you to clear his conscience or let the secret be forgotten but risk dealing with the consequences if you end up finding out on your own.
But when you leaned up to his face, your soft lips sweetly molding to his, Keanu saved the fight with himself for another time. Because god forbid you do uncover the truth and leave, he wanted to at least savor every moment he has left with you.

What is it, section chief?
Togawa: One of our regular clients is planning to hold a bigger-scale Wedding Fest this year.
I'm in charge of that project, so I was just discussing a few things with the other party, like the stage design and programme.
Itaru: (Do we do that kind of work, though…? We're a trading company.)
(But well, let's just go along with him for now.)
Oh, I see. What kind of plan is it?
Togawa: The plan right now is to exhibit all kind of bridal gowns from all around the world and invite guests from overseas…
But the truth is… the plan that the other party wanted to do the most is this one.
Itaru: This document… "Best-of-Three Bride Contest"?
Togawa: We're going to have the participants take on the role of a bride and act out three different kinds of situations.
Itaru: (Ah… So it’s like the bride version of the "Bridegroom Battle Royale" Tsuzuru and Citron participated before.)
Togawa: The other party wants to have this plan realized no matter what--.
But in order to make that happen, we need to recruit several actors to be the participants' co-stars first.
So I'm wondering whether the theater troupe you're affiliated with can lend us some help.
Itaru: ...I beg your pardon?
Togawa: If you're one of the members, I’m sure they have a pretty good line-up of actors there.
And since we can't afford to spend much money on this… would you do me a favor?
Itaru: Hmm, how should I say this… I'm very happy that you reached out to me, but I’m not the one making the decision here…
Togawa: In exchange for helping us with the contest, I'll let you be the last performers at the event. I'll try to negotiate it with the other party.
Don’t you think that will be a good PR for your troupe?
Itaru: …
Tumblr media
Itaru: ...Well, it took longer than expected but that's about it.
Yuki: I see.
Izumi: (Come to think of it, I wonder why Itaru-san's company actively participates in a bridal event…)
Itaru: To put it simply, it's like a variety show version of etiquette proficiency test.
In accordance with the event, it looks like they want to plan something related to wedding.
Izumi: I've gotta admit being the last performers at such a large-scale event will be a good publicity…
Maybe it’s better to accept the offer.
Itaru: I knew you would say that.
I’m gonna talk this out with Sakyo-san as well.
Izumi: Thank you!
Itaru: Alright, I'm gonna change my clothes now.
Muku: Wedding Fest, huh… What a beautiful event…
Citron: Etiquette proficiency test seems fun! I'm berry interested in it!
Yuki: It should be, "very interested," you know. By the way, until when are you going to wear that wig?
Citron: Oh! I've gotten so used to wearing this I forgot to take it off!
Tumblr media
Azuma: This sake is delicious. I feel like this is my first time trying this.
Guy: It was included in our regular package the other day.
Azuma: Oh, really? Fufu, it goes well with this snack too.
*phone buzzes*
Guy: Hm? Looks like I got a text.
...Is it from Mika?
Azuma: What’s the matter?
Guy: No, it’s nothing.
Azuma: ...Is that so?
Tumblr media
Izumi: ...Therefore, we're going to act out specified situations this time around.
Itaru: Director-san, thank you for your cooperation.
Juza: OK.
Azuma: Fufu, I'm looking forward to this. It seems fun.
Itaru: There will be three actors taking the stage at the event.
Objectively speaking, I think Azuma-san and Juza are just the right men for it.
And since my section chief told me to make an appearance, I have to join you two. In the meantime, senpai ran away…
That person is hella good at evading this kind of subject.
Izumi: Then, I'd like to ask Azami-kun to handle the makeup and Citron-kun to escort the winner of the contest.
Azami: Got it.
Citron: Leave it to me!
Itaru: Then, I'd also like to ask Muku to help out as my assistant…
Muku: Okay, I understand!
Itaru: Sorry for making you do this odd-job-like things.
Muku: It’s no problem at all! I'm very interested in this festival, after all. To be able to take part in this event alone has already made me content!
Itaru: God, what an angel… So dazzling.
Juza: So proud of my cousin.
Citron: That’s my son for you!
Azami: He’s not your son, Citron-san.
Itaru: By the way, my section chief told me he had entrusted the duty to deliver the last performance to us.
Izumi: I’m going to have you all go on stage for that!
Azuma: I’m looking forward to both the Best-of-Three Contest and the performance.
Tumblr media
Muku: Phew…
Citron: You’re under arrest! You’re under arrest!
Muku: Whoa! You surprised me right there…!
Citron: Sorry, I’ve unintentionally pretended to be Shinsegumi!
Muku: Fufu, Citron-sama looks cool as Shinsegumi!
Citron: What are you reading, Muku?
Muku: The new issue of a shojo manga! It came out just recently.
It’s a very romantic story that centers around royalty. It follows the protagonist whose fiance is actually her first love.
Citron: …
Muku: ...Citron-sama?
Citron: Oops, sorry! It’s nothing.
Muku: Speaking of which, did you decide to stop sporting that hairdo from before, Citron-sama?
Citron: That hair extension actually suits my fancy…
But since no one is surprised by that anymore, it doesn’t feel new. So I took it off.
Muku: I see.
Citron: Now that it has come to this, I’ll have someone else put that on instead. For instance…
Muku: ?
Tumblr media
Izumi: I’m home.
Tsuzuru: Welcome back. Dinner’s ready.
Izumi: Thanks! Whoa, it looks tasty today too!
Citron: You’re back, Director?
Izumi: Yup, I just got back.
Citron: ...Are you prepared?
Izumi: Huh? I… I guess…? I don’t know what you’re talking about, though.
Citron: Come on!!
Muku: W-Welcome home.
Izumi: Eh!? Muku-kun…!?
Citron: Our prank was a big success!
Tsuzuru: Huh!? What’s with that?
Citron: I have Muku put on the freebies I got the other day!
Muku: On, on second thought, this is surely embarrassing…!
Citron: No, you’re fine! It looks incredibly great on you!
My addiction is never wrong!
Tsuzuru: It should be prediction, not addiction.
Izumi: You really look like a girl.
Tsuzuru: Yeah, indeed… I’ve been considering this since the inner palace play, but maybe I’ll have you take on female roles in future plays.
*bell rings*
Citron: Hm? Who came?
Izumi: Maybe a courier?
Tsuzuru: At this time? I’ll go greet them for now.
Izumi: For real, though… you look so great in this that you don’t look weird at all.
Muku: Sho-should I be happy about this…
Citron: Obviously! You’re very cute! Lemme hug you, pretty Muku!
Muku: Ci-Citron-sama…!
Izumi: (Ahaha, they sure are close.)
Tsuzuru: Hey, hold on! What on Earth are you--.
Izumi: ? Tsuzuru-kun?
*door opens*
???: ...Citronia-sama!
Izumi: !?
Tumblr media
???: …
Citron: …
Guy: …
Izumi: Uhhh, alright, they all have left so please tell us what’s your business here…
Leila: ...My name is Leila.
Just as I mentioned earlier, I came from the Kingdom of Zahra.
I’m here to meet Citronia-sama…
Izumi: (Leila-san… is very beautiful. Furthermore, she’s really fluent in Japanese.)
Ummm, can I ask what’s your relationship with Citron-kun…?
Leila: ...I’m Citronia-sama’s fiancee.
Izumi: !?
Tumblr media
Izumi: Fiancee!?
Guy: A fiancee candidate, to be precise.
With his status as the prince of Zahra, Citronia already had a fiancee candidate since childhood.
But both me and Citronia are pretty much clueless when it comes to details of the candidate.
I did hear from Mika that someone claiming to be Citronia’s fiancee is heading to Japan. To think that he was actually telling the truth...
Izumi: (Wow, as expected of a royal family… They do have a fiancee since childhood.)
Guy: However, Citronia is no longer in line for the throne.
I believe talks about engagement should be over as well...
Leila: It doesn't matter whether or not Citronia-sama is in line for the throne. I want to marry him.
Izumi: (She looks very determined…)
Citron: ...Sorry. I’m very happy to learn of your feelings, but I can’t marry you.
Leila: Why? I’ll do anything for you.
I’ve been attending marriage preparation class and learning a lot of subjects. I’ve also been studying your beloved Japanese, Citronia-sama.
If there are other things I need to do, I’m more than willing to do it.
Citron: ...Thank you. But still, I can’t marry you.
Leila: …
...Is the woman just now your lover, Citronia-sama?
Citron: Eh?
Izumi: Woman…
(This is just my hunch, but don’t tell me she’s referring to Muku-kun who was crossdressing…!?)
(I can’t blame her for thinking that way though, especially since Citron-kun was hugging him just now…)
Citron: ...That’s right.
Izumi: Eh--!?
Citron: ...Director.
Izumi: (...Guess he’s trying to settle this thing down for the time being.)
(Let’s see how it goes for now.)
Citron: I have a lover. Therefore, I cannot marry you.
Leila: ...I see.
Izumi: (I wonder if Leila-san accepts it. She should be giving up…)
Leila: ...YOU’RE SORELY MISTAKEN IF YOU THINK I’M GOING TO GIVE UP JUST LIKE THAT!!
Izumi: !?
Leila: I can't accept it! If it comes to this, I'd like to challenge her to a head-on battle!
Citron: Oh! She has turned into a completely different person!
Guy: She's really passionate.
Izumi: B-But how are you going to…
*door opens*
Itaru: Director-san, I wanna discuss the "Best-of-Three Bride Contest" I told you before…
...Hm? Sorry, are you in the middle of something now?
Izumi: Yes, very much!
Leila: Best-of-Three Bride Contest… That's it!
Izumi: Pardon me?
Leila: If I win against that woman in that contest… Please come back to Zahra and marry me!
Izumi: Eeeh!? That's just too unreasonable…
Itaru: What kind of development is going on here?
Leila: But if I lose… I'm going to pay an appropriate amount of money as a reward.
In addition, I won't approach Citronia-sama anymore.
Izumi: Even if you say that, there's no way we will accept--.
Leila: Let's talk about the details later. I'm going to leave this number here. Be sure to call me up.
I shall take my leave now. Excuse my intrusion.
*door closes*
Izumi: She, She's gone…
Citron: …
Tumblr media
Izumi: And that's what happened...
Azuma: It turned into such a fuss, huh.
Azami: F-Fi.. Fiancee… are you for real?
Citron: Being popular sure is tough. Sighs…
Juza: You sure she ain't just joking?
Itaru: I don't think so. I just took a look at the participants list and her name is there.
And it looks like she's one of the overseas guests who are invited to the fest.
Izumi: That explains it, then…!
Juza: Oh, so that's why she came to visit Citron-san who's in Japan.
Azuma: Being a guest means she has quite the social status and probably an authority too--.
So it may not be impossible for her to… bring him back to Zahra.
Azami: It that really possible, though?
Izumi: Who knows…
Itaru: I heard she's an heiress of a famous corporation in Zahra.
Izumi: (That explains why she gives off the vibe of a well-educated person.)
Muku: …
Izumi: At any rate, we're going to talk with Leila-san some more in regards of the contest…
Muku: ...I'm going to do it.
Izumi: Eh?
Muku: I know there's a chance this may be nothing but a joke.
But if Citron-sama will be forcibly taken away by a group men dressed in black because I reject the challenge…
Then, we won't be able to meet again because they forbid him to get in touch with a dessicated lotus root like me…!
Azami: There's no way that would happen. And calm down.
Itaru: I think we should have senpai or someone else stay by our side in case what Muku imagined does occur.
If Muku takes on the challenge, I'll help out… So what should we do?
Juza: I'll help out too.
Citron: No problem here! I'll try my best!
Azami: Well, it's your call. You're the one involved in this, after all.
Muku: ...I'll do it.
Izumi: Got it, if that's what you want.
Azuma: It may be better not to announce that Muku is going to participate while dressing up as a woman.
Itaru: We need to come up with a fake name, then.
Citron: Let me think about it!
Azuma: Fufu, I feel like you're going to come up with an adorable and fun name.
Tumblr media
Izumi: (Guy-san said he already contacted Leila-san, so… all we need to do now is gear up for D-day.)
(But…)
Citron: "My honey, your miso soup is so delicious today too."
Muku: "Really? Thank you."
Azami: "You always say it's delicious as long as it's mom's cooking, dad."
Citron: "It really is delicious, since you put your love in it, honey."
"Your tasteless soup that's the result of you forgetting to add seasoning, your red hot stew that is served after putting too much red peppers…"
"Your salty cake and your cookies that are as hard as stones… my sweetheart, all of them are supreme cuisine to me."
Muku: "Oh darling…"
Citron: "Back when I first tasted your cooking, I felt like an electric shock running through me. God made us find each other."
Izumi: Hey, stop stop! What's with that play!?
Citron: No, no, we're practicing properly.
Izumi: (Sighs… it's been like this for a while now. Will we be all right at the bride contest?)

Tharja & Morgan: C - A Supports (Mother/Daughter)
(Rewrite requested by @thewisemankey)

Morgan: Hmm... I wonder why I have no memory of my mother...
Morgan: All of my memories of Father are so crisp and clear... I remember what an amazing tactician he was, all the time we studied together...
Morgan: But nothing at all about my mother. It's one big blank.
Tharja: Hmm, Morgan? Is that you?
Morgan: Mother! That's amazing! I was just thinking about you! This is totally fate! Family-style fate!
Morgan: ...Wait, no. How did Father put it?
Morgan: "We're not pawns of some scripted fate. It's the invisible ties we forge that bind us."
Morgan: So yeah, it's not fate. It's the whole invisible bond-link...thing!
Tharja: Ahaha... That does sound like something your Father would say.
Morgan: Yup! Even without my memories, there's an invisible thread that links us.
Morgan: Er, but that reminds me... I was just wondering how I could possibly have forgotten you, Mother.
Morgan: Do you think you could help me get those memories back?
Tharja: Certainly, dear. I always have time for you...
Tharja: I did plan on working on a curse to put on some particularly irritating soldiers... but I suppose that can wait.
Morgan: Yay! Thanks so much! I'll start preparing. Oh, I can't wait to get started!
(Morgan leaves)
Tharja: Hmmhmm... She’s more like her father every day.
B Support
Morgan: Mother? Do you have a moment?
Tharja: Of course.
Morgan: Perfect! Then let's get started on Project Get Memories of Mom Back!
Morgan: Step one -- figure out how we're going to trigger some flashbacks.
Morgan: I've already tried banging my head against a post, but nothing.
Morgan: I mean, it made me dizzy and nauseated, but it didn't unearth any hidden memories.
Morgan: What do you think, Mother? Perhaps a stone wall would work better?
Tharja: You’ve... what? No, no, no. That won’t do. We can’t have you smashing up your perfect little face.
Tharja: I have a better idea. Try just looking at my face. Focus on your feelings.
Morgan: Argh, that's perfect! You're a genius!
Morgan: I must have seen your face a million times in the future. It's bound to bring SOMETHING back if I stare at it long enough.
Morgan: Okay, sorry to invade your personal space here, but... Here goes...
Morgan: ......
Morgan: .........
Morgan: ............
Morgan: ...............
Morgan: Drats! It's not working. I don't remember a thing.
Morgan: It's like... Have you ever stared at a word so long it kinda fell apart?
Morgan: And you think, "Is that how that's spelled? Wait, is that even a real WORD?!"
Morgan: Except here it's "Is that what Mother looked like?"
Tharja: Well, we’ve certainly tried our hardest... Perhaps we should take a break.
Morgan: Sure... I'm still a little dizzy from banging on the post earlier to be honest...
Morgan: But this doesn't end here! I'm not giving up until I remember you, Mother!
A Support
Morgan: *Sigh* No luck today, either... I'm going crazy trying to remember you. I feel so useless! I'm just so... *sniff* Why can't I... *sob*
Tharja: Oh, dear... (Now what do I do?) L-Look, please don’t cry...
Morgan: B-but I know I must have loved you just as much as I loved Father.
Morgan: I bet we had a million memories together, and the thought of having lost them... I feel like I failed you. Like I... Like I... *sob*
Tharja: Morgan...
Morgan: *Sniff* S-sorry, I guess I got a little carried away there...
Morgan: Ngh! M-my head!
Morgan: ...Wha—?!
Tharja: What is it? I hope you haven’t been banging it against pillars again!
Morgan: I...I remembered something! Just one tiny little memory, but...I remember!
Morgan: You were smiling at me...and you called my name...
Morgan: Haha! Yes! You looked a little bit older, but it was DEFINITELY you!
Morgan: Oh thank you Mother, I never would have remembered without your help.
Morgan: And hey, this is great! If I can get one memory back, maybe I can get the rest!
Morgan: It may take time, but I won't stop trying until I remember everything about you.
Tharja: That sounds excellent. I’m sure you can succeed at anything you put your mind to, dear. Just like your father...
Morgan: Aw, thanks Mom.

[i7] Ryunosuke Photobook: Special Interview
"I got kind of inspired, knowing that you've been doing your best for me."
“I had the chance to have it produced by Gaku, so I can recommend it with confidence.”
Gaku: Ryu, good work.
Ryunosuke: Good work! Thanks for producing for me!
Gaku: Yeah. Did you have fun?
Ryunosuke: Of course! I'd been looking forward to today ever since it was decided that you'd be producing for me. You have a good eye, and there aren't many opportunities for our members to produce for each other.
Gaku: That's true. I'd also been looking forward to produce for you! I did the best that I could not to let your good looks go to waste.
Ryunosuke: That makes me happy! Did I meet your expections, Producer Gaku?
Gaku: Yeah. I was able to take the best pictures ever.
Ryunosuke: I'm glad!
Gaku: I mean, the photographic subject was good too! I was able to feel confident in my producing abilities (lol).
Ryunosuke: I'm glad, but that's kind of embarassing!
Gaku: Hey hey, aren't the people looking at the Ryu Photobook cover the ones who should get embarassed?
Ryunosuke: I wonder if it'll make their hearts pound?
Gaku: Of course. I can assure you it will.
Ryunosuke: Really? I can't wait to see their reactions! Well then, Producer Gaku, I wonder if I could hear about your concept for the cover picture.
Gaku: Sure. Among the twelve of us, you're the tallest and you have the best build, so I thought that anyone would want to make use of that. So, at first I thought of making use of your broad chest or of your muscles, but I couldn't settle on anything...... Thinking about this and that, I called out to you from behind the other day after our lesson, while we were changing, right? At that time, seeing you looking over your shoulder, I thought "This is it."
Ryunosuke: That time, huh! I was startled when you suddenly went "This is it!" but I see that you'd been thinking about it.
Gaku: It troubled me so much! You have a lot of magazine gravures, so to avoid giving a sense of deja-vu, I couldn't think of anything else than the fact that, maybe, it would be best to come up with a composition that highlights your gentleness or open-mindedness. It was a real pain.
Ryunosuke: W,was it a pain!?
Gaku: I'm exaggerating a bit (lol). Well anyways, when I saw your back, I felt that it would convey not only your sensuality, but also a variety of your charms.
Ryunosuke: That makes me happy. I got kind of inspired, knowing that you've been doing your best for me.
Gaku: Of course I would. I can't let your photobook flop because of me, and Tenn also did his best to produce mine, so I can't lose.
Ryunosuke: Hating to lose is just like you! The cover that Tenn produced for you was really nice.
Gaku: Thanks. That goes for mine too, but it seems that the one that Nanase produced for Tenn, and the ones that went on sale before his were all successful! I don't want to lose on that front either.
Ryunosuke: Thanks to you, I feel like I'll be able to recommend this photobook to our fans with confidence!
Gaku: Oh, then should we reveal the cover during our live? If we project it on the big screen, I feel like people will go crazy (lol).
Ryunosuke: Ahaha! TRIGGER will be complete with mine, so we should project all three of them. Though if I joke about this, I feel like Tenn will get mad at us (lol).
Gaku: Sounds scary, huh. Maybe we should hold back on the jokes (lol).
Ryunosuke: Yeah! ......Either way, I feel like I'll have a great birthday thanks to the fact that the photobook that you've produced for me will go on sale, so I'm excited.
Gaku: Getting to produce it and to have this conversation feels fresh, doesn't it.
Ryunosuke: Yeah. I'd like to be able to have a conversation with Tenn too, next time.
Gaku: Since I got to talk with you and Tenn, I feel like it'd be fun and new to get to talk to members of other groups too.
Ryunosuke: That's true. With the twelve of us, it must be fun no matter who we talk to!
Gaku: I'm sorry, but please be content with just me this time (lol).
Ryunosuke: Don't say that! I'm really happy to be able to do this kind of work with you.
Gaku: Oh, yeah.
Ryunosuke: Sorry, I got too passionate......
Gaku: No. You're really a natural flirt (1), aren't you.
Ryunosuke: Huuh! You told me that before too, didn't you!?
Gaku: Hahah. Did I?
Ryunosuke: It doesn't give off a good image. I have to work on that......
Gaku: Just be yourself.
Ryunosuke: Is that okay......? I wonder if Tenn thinks that way too.
Gaku: Aah, talking about Tenn, he was going through the pictures of you that he had saved on his phone. I think he's selecting the picture to insert in the social media section of the photobook (2)?
Ryunosuke: Really!? Tenn is good at taking pictures, so I'm sure he'll choose a nice one for me!
Gaku: Maybe not having a contribution in the Ryu Photobook is making him feel lonely (lol).
Ryunosuke: If that's so, that's pretty cute! I'll ask him about it later.
Gaku: Hey hey, don't do that. He might pick a weird picture to hide his embarassment! ......Actually, if we keep talking about him like this, I don't know what he'll say to us later...... Let's move on to the next topic.
Ryunosuke: Ahaha! Got it. Well then, could you tell us how you decided on the composition for the Special Gravure?
Gaku: By showing you cooking for others, I wanted to express your gentleness and broad-mindedness, rather than your sensuality, if we compare to the cover. I wanted to show your good physique here too, so I had you swiftly reach for something placed high up. You really seem like you'd cook for the person that you like, after all!
Ryunosuke: I quite like cooking, so was I able to give off a spontaneous atmosphere?
Gaku: Yeah. You were perfectly into it.
Ryunosuke: I'm glad!
Gaku: Next, it's one of the planned questions, but tell us about your type?
Ryunosuke: Let's see...... I guess someone with a nice smile? And if it turns out that we both like each other, I'll support them so that they can keep smiling forever.
Gaku: I thought so last time you said it too, but that's just like you. Everything you do is for the sake of others.
Ryunosuke: Huh, I've said this before!?
Gaku: You don't remember? You said it really loudly when you were drinking!
Ryunosuke: Huuh!? You're kidding right?
Gaku: It's true. You even went out of your way to stand up before saying it, so the older Izumi and Nikaido burst out laughing. The drunk Osaka said "Tsunashi-san is cool even when he's standing......" under his breath.
Ryunosuke: Not only that, but I did it while we were drinking with the IDOLiSH7 guys!? Aah, that's embarassing......
Gaku: They even brought it up in a conversation. I won't call out anyone's names, but let's be careful about getting black-out drunk......
Ryunosuke: You're right...... Sorry, Gaku......
Gaku: Pull yourself back together, and let's move on to the next question.
Ryunosuke: Right.
Gaku: Can you tell us about something that made you happy, from your activities until now?
Ryunosuke: I can't pick...... Everything about the TRIGGER that I achieved with you and Tenn is a special memory to me.
Gaku: Yeah. Me too.
Ryunosuke: Also, this is kind of abstract, but I get so happy when I feel that I'm able to contribute to TRIGGER. Those times when people come to be interested in TRIGGER because of me, or when they grow to love it even more, I can feel from the bottom of my heart how glad I am to exist as TRIGGER's Tsunashi Ryunosuke.
Gaku: Don't say that. You're not just "contributing." If you weren't there, TRIGGER wouldn't exist, you know.
Ryunosuke: Thanks, Gaku.
Gaku: I'm glad I can work with you, Ryu.
Ryunosuke: It's kind of embarassing to be told up front. Though, it's thanks to you and Tenn that I can be doing this right now. Back when we had just formed TRIGGER, I thought that you and Tenn were perfect at everything, and that I was the only one who was disappointing. But, you both acknowledged me as a full-fledged member, and you always asked for my opinion. When I realized that, I thought, I've really become a real member of TRIGGER. I'm really thankful.
Gaku: I feel the same. I'll keep depending on you from now on.
Ryunosuke: Yeah!
Gaku: I'm really touched.
Ryunosuke: Me too.
Gaku: It would be nice if the talk ended here, but there are still things I have to ask you. ......Can you tell us about something that made you sad?
Ryunosuke: Sure......
Gaku: Are you thinking of something?
Ryunosuke:  That would be the times when I felt that TRIGGER or my family members, the things that I hold dear, were acquiring a negative image, as a collateral of my happiness.
Gaku: Ryu......
Ryunosuke: But what I have to do is to sing, to dance, to just keep working seriously as I had been this whole time, so that I can reach the hearts of everyone who has been supporting me as TRIGGER's Tsunashi Ryunosuke through each of our performances.
Gaku: I was sincerely amazed by your strength. Even I got cheered up by you.
Ryunosuke: The same goes for me though! When I read the Gaku Photobook, I gained strength from your words. I thought, I have to do my best as TRIGGER's Tsunashi Ryunosuke too.
Gaku: Everyone makes fun of that phrase huh......
Ryunosuke: It just means that it stayed in people's hearts!
Gaku: That would be nice (lol)! Well then, shall we finalize this.
Ryunosuke: Yeah. I'll do my best to produce for Momo-san next!
Gaku: That's right, you were the one to produce for Momo-san.
Ryunosuke: Yup. Momo-san is always doing things for me, so to convey my gratitute to him, I thought that I should give it my best. Look forward to it too, Gaku.
Gaku: Yeah. We don't see Momo-san stripping much, but as an outdoors type of person, shouldn't his body be quite well built? You could have him strip, but you could also have him give off a healthy image while dressed too!
Ryunosuke: Don't make me hesitate.....!
Gaku: Ahaha! Do your best. Oh right, I forgot. Lastly, please send a message to your fans.
Ryunosuke: Right! To all of you who read the Ryunosuke Photobook, thank you so much for always cheering for me! It's a bit embarassing to have your own photobook, but I had the chance to have it produced by Gaku, so I can recommend it with confidence. I'd be happy if by reading this photobook, you could come to know more about me, and about my beloved TRIGGER! As TRIGGER's Tsunashi Ryunosuke, I intend to give it my all everyday so that I can deliver charming performances for you all, so please look forward to TRIGGER's future. (1) Gaku calls him "tennen tarashi" (天然タラシ) which usually refers to a character (male) who does something flirty without intending to, or does something which makes people fall for them naturally. For example, imagine that a girl got a new haircut. The guy notices it and tells her it suits her. Someone who keeps noticing the little things and being attentive is tennen tarashi. So this term usually applies to someone who's very kind in that way. However, this is a tangent but, being tennen tarashi may not always be a good thing, because if the other person actually likes you, they may be really disappointed if they find out that you didn't have any romantic intentions... It has similar connotations to “heartbreaker.”
(2) For those who don't know, there is a section in the photobook which shows social media posts by other characters. Here is an example from Riku's photobook.

TsukiPara Drama - Chapter 10 Translation
[This chapter is about Six Gravity preparing for the joint live. Enjoy under the cut~]
10章 – Chapter 10
合同へ!~グラビ編~
Towards the joint live! ~Gravi Version~
1話 – Part 1
「ツキウタ。ラジオ」の時間です!
It’s time for “Tsukiuta Radio”!
Koi:  Okay! We will begin again today! Delivered to you in a live broadcast, it’s time for “Tsukiuta Radio”, abbreviated “TsukiRadi”!
Kakeru:  Your hosts will continue to be the same, December’s Kakeru Shiwasu and…...
Koi:  February’s Koi Kisaragi, bringing it to you!
Koi:  Today’s broadcast will feature the special tour for our game app “Tsukino Paradise” so…...
Koi:  Wow! After a long wait, every member of Six Gravity is gathered, making this a special version episode!
Kakeru:  Yay! Applause!  Then I’ll hand it over to the representative, Hajime-san, for a greeting!
Hajime:  Hello everyone.  It’s been a while since I’ve been on TsukiRadi, hasn’t it?  I am Gravi’s Hajime Mutsuki.
Hajime:  I’ll be with you for only a short while today but, I believe all of our fan’s will have a good time.  Please take care of me?
Kakeru:  …...And there you have it!  Everyone, are you ready?  All of our listeners, say it together with us!
Koi:  The “Tsukiuta. Radio”, abbreviated TsukiRadi, special episode is…...
 Everyone:  Starting now~!
 Kakeru:  Good work guys!
 Haru:  Yes, good work.
Aoi:  It’s been a while since everyone has gathered together for TsukiRadi.  Live broadcasts make me nervous but, it was fun.
Arata:  It really surprised me when Kuroda barged in though.  Isn’t he already beyond regular*?  How did he get in the studio anyways?
[*I think he means that he’s no longer acting like a regular or normal rabbit]
Hajime:  Now that you mention it, where did Kuroda go?
Haru:  Tsukishiro-san got one step ahead of us and already took him back to the dorms.  We could have left him in the waiting room but…...he’s a little big.
 Koi:  Yes he is.
Arata:  Well then, we have solved the matter of Kuroda for the time being.  Now that I’m relieved…… I’ve gotten hungry.
Kakeru:  Me too me too!  Let’s eat something and go home!
Koi:  Oh!  It has to be meat!!  I’m in the mood for yakiniku*!
[*grilled meat dish]
Aoi:  What? But I’m pretty sure they said there was a meeting right after this?
Kakeru:  Oh, I guess you’re right.  We still haven’t decided what to do for this Tsukipara Live Festival.
 Koi:  Oh…...Goodbye!  My yakiniku!
Haru:  Yakiniku would be difficult but…… How about we chow on some pizza while we’re talking together in the dorms?
Arata:  I have no objections.  Let’s do that.  It’ll be a pizza party with everyone.
Hajime:  And it’ll be a business meeting, okay?  Well, we might get some good ideas from it.
Hajime:  …...Well, now that we’re full, we should talk about the Tsukipara live…...
Haru:  Has anyone come up with any good ideas?
Kakeru:  I haven’t. I’ve thought a lot about it since we talked with Procella but…...I haven’t been able to think of anything.
Arata:  Me too, I’ve been seriously thinking about it every day before going to sleep.  Because of that…...
Aoi:  Have you been unable to sleep?
Arata:  Nope, I’ve been sleeping very soundly.
 Koi:  Don’t fall asleep!
Arata:  That’s just how hard I’ve been thinking about it.  But, I haven’t been able to think of anything good enough~
 Everyone:  Hmm…...
 (To be Continued)
2話 – Part 2
珍しく恋が残念じゃないアイデアを出しました
Unusually, Koi has come up with an idea that’s not disappointing.
Hajime:  …… It’s just like Tsukishiro-san and Kurotsuki-san told us before, that thinking too hard will have the opposite effect, right?
Haru:  That’s right. Let’s just take it easy while we’re thinking.  I think it would be best to do it in a way that allows us to be completely relaxed and enjoy ourselves.
 Kakeru:  Be completely relaxed…...
Aoi:  …...Speaking of being completely relaxed…...
Aoi:  We could do something like “TsukiRadi”.  Well, I somehow got the idea just now.
Haru:  Oh, that might be a good idea, “TsukiRadi”.  We’ve been doing that program for a long time so our fans will know it…...
Haru:  We’re also accustomed to it.  Even during today’s editing, we were able to continue it, without getting too worked up, so we were naturally completely relaxed.  Don’t you all feel the same?
Koi:  Ahaha, it is certainly true that I was completely relaxed to the point that I could say there was too much freedom~!
Hajime:  That seems like it would be good as a main focus.  “TsukiRadi” on stage…… It sounds like it could be interesting?
Haru:  But different from being on the radio, we will be right in front of the fans, so I want to be able to get them excited.
Arata:  So we need to do it in a way that both the audience and us get roused up, huh…...
Aoi:  If you think about what the appeal of “TsukiRadi” is, it would be that we could deliver our voices directly to them live.
Koi:  Okay! Let’s do a lot of ad-lib!  We won’t know what will occur!  But, that’s what’s so fun about it!  …...That’s what I think we should do.
Kakeru:  For Koi and me, who are the regular hosts, we always feel some tension each time though. But it’s worth doing.
Haru:  It’s important that we don’t forget that this time we’ll be “linking it to the game”.
Hajime:  That’s right. This is originally a live for everyone who enjoys playing “Tsukipara” anyways.
Koi:  Ding ding! I’ve thought of something!  If that’s the case, why don’t we do a “game live broadcast”?
Koi:  We could project the game onto a giant screen, and then we could play it there! Then it would be a live broadcast of the game…...
Kakeru:  Oh! Unusually, Koi has come up with an idea that’s not disappointing!
 Koi:  Stop saying I’m disappointing!
Arata:  A live broadcast huh.  That could definitely be interesting~.  I’ve watched videos of those once in a while when looking around online.  Not too long ago, those types of videos were really popular too~.
Aoi:  I know what those are just by hearing the name but, I’ve never actually seen one before. It sounds interesting…...
Hajime:  I’m the same as Aoi.
Aoi:  Later on, let’s ask Arata and Koi to show us some videos.  Hajime-san.
 Hajime:  We should.
Haru:  That sounds great.  The audience can enjoy it together with us while watching the screen, and if we can convey to them the merits of the game, it would be best if they could see it in reality.
Haru:  Hmm, so have we decided on doing a live broadcast?
Hajime:  Yeah, I think it would be good?
Koi:  Hurray! We’re using my idea!
Hajime:  …… Now that we’ve decided that, we need to verify if it’s actually possible to implement it on stage.
 Haru:  I guess you’re right.
Kakeru:  …...And if that’s the case?
 (To be Continued)
3話 – Part 3
それじゃあ今から皆で練習しましょう
Well then let’s all start practicing from now on.
Hajime:  First we need to have someone make and install equipment that will be able to use a screen.
Haru:  After that, we also have the problem of figuring out what would be the best way to place it on stage.
Haru:  If we just leisurely play the game it will be too simple, so we need to think of how to broadcast it in a way that excites the audience too.
 Aoi:  I guess you’re right…...
Hajime:  …… And that also means, we need to be able to play the game to a certain degree.
Haru:  That’s for sure.  If we show an uncool play, it will give us a negative image in many ways.
 Hajime:  You got it right.
Arata:  If that’s what you’re trying to say, then I might be in trouble~.
Arata:  I play the game now and then but it’s not like I’ve gotten that high of a score.
Aoi:  Arata is the type that wants to play at his own pace, rather than aim for a high score.
Haru:  If you say that, I wonder if the person who suggested it, Hajime, will be okay?
 Hajime:  …...
Hajime:  …… The truth is, I don’t have any more confidence than Arata.
Kakeru:  Huuuuuh!? There are times when even Hajime-san doesn’t feel confident!?
Hajime:  What kind of guy do you see me as?
Hajime:  It’s just an excuse but, I’ve been so busy I haven’t played it much in the first place.
 Kakeru:  Oh-…...
Hajime:  Since I don’t play them often, I’m still not really used to playing any types of games anyways.
Kakeru:  I see……. I want to give you Koi’s useless video game skills and some free time…...
Koi:  I heard you say useless!
Haru:  Hahaha…… Hajime has only just begun playing app games after hearing the explanation of what they were.
Hajime:  However, if you can show skill in the live, it won’t show that kind of dependency.*
[*I’m not sure about exactly what this means, I think it means that their skills would show that they don’t need to depend on anyone else]
Arata:  Oka-y. Well then let’s all start practicing from now on.  Let’s do this.  Hajime-san and I will do nothing but extensive training.
Kakeru:  That’s right~.  If we all give each other advice, I think we will improve fast!
Aoi:  I don’t have a score that’s good enough to be proud of either so, let’s work hard……!
 Koi:  Heh heh heh…...
Koi:  Hehehe, hehahahaha!  It’s here----!!!  This is my time to shine!
Koi:  Gravi’s number one gamer Koi-kun, will become everyone’s proper and reliable teacher!
Arata:  Pink head is getting carried away as expected.
Aoi:  Hehehe, actually, he’s being pretty reliable.
Koi:  Now then, everyone.  First let’s get an accurate grasp of the situation!  Show me your scores.
 (To be Continued)
4話 – Part 4
君もきっと一人前の音ゲーマーになれるぞ!!
I’m sure you could also become a public music gamer!!
Kakeru:  Okay!
Hajime:  …… To display the score.  Where do I press?
Haru:  …… Hajime, you really aren’t used to operating games are you.
 Hajime:  …… Haru.
Haru:  Okay okay. Here, let me see.  The score display is…… umm, here.  It’s right here.
Koi:  Let’s see what we have here…… Everyone’s skills are……  Oh!  Kakeru and Aoi’s scores are pretty good!
Aoi:  Huh, is that so?  I’m a little relieved.
Kakeru:  Hehehe-. I guess since it includes our songs, it was easy to get used to. I got better really smoothly!
Koi:  With this amount, I wouldn’t have any worries about Kakeru and Aoi during the main performance.  Now for Haru-san…...
Haru:  I’ve tried really hard but, I don’t think it’s as good.
Koi:  Ah~, but, it’s not that bad.
Koi:  I’ll show you the tricks of how to play, so if you remember it and practice then I’m sure you’ll get better!
Haru:  Please teach me.  I don’t want to show the fans an embarrassing side of me.  I want to raise my level before the day of the performance.
Koi:  To continue on, Arata’s score is………… Huh?  It surprisingly isn’t that bad.
Arata:  …… Really? I don’t really know what the normal score would be.
Koi:  It’s not bad. What-, I thought it would be way worse. I think it may be even better than the average score?
Arata:  Oh…… Is that right.  Good job, me. I feel like I can do it now.
Koi:  With this score, I’m sure you could also become a public music gamer* after I attentively guide you!!
[*meaning someone that can play music games in front of an audience]
Arata:  I don’t need such weird and disgusting guidance.
Koi:  Last is…… Hajime-san!  Can I see your scores?
 Hajime:  Yeah, is this good?
Koi:  Yeah. …...Huh?  Hajime-san, you haven’t played anything except easy mode?
Hajime:  I can have enough fun just playing easy mode.
Hajime:  …… Or rather, to be honest, this is the first time I’ve heard that there are other modes.
Koi:  I have to explain from there!?  Geez, how many times have I had to say that line!
Koi:  O-Okay. Nevertheless, I think you can still raise your score a little bit more.  With your reflexes it’s possible.
Koi:  Hey Hajime-san, it doesn’t matter if it’s the easiest song for you, but could I watch you play once?
Hajime:  Yeah…… Then, I’ll do this one.
Haru:  Huh? Hajime, the way you’re holding it…...
Kakeru:  Ha-Hajime-san!?  It’s not like you have to play it with one hand you know!?
 Hajime:  ?  Is that true?
 Aoi:  N-Now I see…...
Arata:  All of a sudden, we have solved the riddle of why Hajime-san’s score is so low.
Koi:  Umm…… Hajime-san.  I’m going to play it now so, can you watch me?
 Hajime:  Okay.
Koi:  Well then…… Koi Kisaragi, is here!

5話 – Part 5
ゲームの腕前もしっかり磨いておけよ?
Make sure you also steadily refine your game skills, okay?
Aoi:  Wow! That’s amazing!  Such smooth movements!
Haru:  He’s getting them all perfect.
Kakeru:  He’s really skillful for just playing it casually…… Even if it’s because he’s sacrificing sleep and his tests……!!
Arata:  I know what you mean.  He’s the type that as he raises his game level, his real life level lowers.
Koi:  Just wait a minute~!?  That just plain hurts!?
 Haru:  Score S! As expected…!
Koi:  Heh, I just unconsciously played seriously.
Koi:  …… Well, I was trying to look cool but, that’s pretty much how it is.  It’s okay to use both hands.
Koi:  You can hold it in whichever way is easiest for you.
Hajime:  I see. That was great, Koi.  Well done.
 Koi:  E-Ehehehehe~
Hajime:  Now I feel like I understand by watching how you played it.  …...I think I’ll get a little better after this.
Aoi:  Huh? You are going to try it again already?
Hajime:  I think I can do it a little.  For the time being, I’ll just try it.
 Hajime:  …… Heh.
Kakeru:  W-Woah!? Hajime-san, you suddenly got really good!?
Aoi:  The awkwardness you’ve had until now, has completely disappeared…… It’s like a different person is playing.
Haru:  Ahaha, that’s just Hajime, as expected.
Hajime:  It’s certainly true that, now that I’ve gotten the hang of it, it has become much easier to play.
Hajime:  I’m still not at the level where I can play in front of other people but, if I practice, I should be able to raise my score.
Arata:  Hajime-san has gone into serious mode.  Alright, with this, I have a premonition that out of all of Gravi’s members, I have dropped to the bottom of the list!
Koi:  So he’s being serious…… By watching me play it just one time, he improved this quickly…...
Kakeru:  As expected of the king……!
Aoi:  So you got a score rank of…… A.  Oh! Just a little more and you’ll reach Koi’s score!
Koi:  Ugh…… My precious student, has suddenly improved and become my rival!
Koi:  I also have pride as a gamer!  Even if it’s against Hajime-san, my game score won’t lose!
Kakeru:  Oh…… Koi has gotten fired up!
Haru:  Ahaha. But trying to do this, is pretty fun. We should be able to get fired up during the real live too don’t you think?
Hajime:  You’re right. With a little more practice, all of our skills will be equally matched.
Aoi:  We’ll also be trying a little bit to level up, right Kakeru.
Kakeru:  That’s right, Aoi-san.  Let’s devote ourselves to it.  Otherwise, we’ll be surpassed by Hajime-san in the blink of an eye.
Hajime:  After that…… well.  I guess we should do something like a score showdown with Gravi and Procella?
Koi:  Oh, that would be good!  The fans would also be able to participate by cheering!
Arata:  The fans will be cheering, huh.  Then, we seriously must do that.  I want everyone to see me at my best.
Hajime:  Alright, I guess we should propose this idea to Procella.
Hajime:  You guys, in preparation for the joint live you should refine your singing and dancing. And after that, make sure you also steadily refine your game skills, okay?
 Everyone:  Okay!

Ensemble Stars Event Translation: Magical Halloween WITCH CRAFT Part 1
Surprise y’all didn’t expect another translation from me so soon did ya
This is a collaboration project between me and my friend Dreamy! Go compliment her on her Shu cosplay we took pics together and I was living my full ValkP fantasy.
Tsumugi shows up to find Sora and then the two of them go to find Mika who happens to be surrounded by a bunch of cute children. He also blesses us with the most beautiful CG in the game don’t fight me on this y’all.

Sora: HaHiHuHeHo~♪
Tsumugi: He~y, Sora-kun 🎵
Sora: Ah, Senpai! Trick or Treat ♪
Tsumugi: Yes, Trick or Treat……..🎵 I don't have any candy on hand right now. What will you do? Will you play a trick on me?
Sora: Yes! That is the rule! Take this, knee attack ♪ (T/N: Have you ever gone behind someone and knocked them behind the knees with your own? Yeah that's what Sora is doing)
Tsumugi: Wah, I almost hit the ground....... It's easy for the hem of this outfit to be stepped on or tripped over, so please go easy on me, okay?
Well, I did make it myself so I shouldn't complain about it, I suppose.
Sora: Senpa~i, what kind of costume is this? A princess?
Tsumugi: No, no. We're all grouped together as "wizards" after all~ This is a "summoner." Do you know what summoning magic is?
Sora: Ah, I read about it in a manga Hina-chan lent me! You draw a magic circle round and round~ And then you call on monsters and stuff, right?
Tsumugi: Yup, yup. Going with the flow of the Live, "Switch" will be performing first......
We'll be drawing a magic circle with our dance steps, and with that summon "Valkyrie" who are acting the role of “demons,” right?
Because of that, Shu-kun said we needed to have a summoner, so I rushed and arranged an outfit.
Shu-kun has always been very particular when it comes to arranging and the like.
Sora: HaHa~🎵 Such "pickiness" is needed! Sora likes "Valkyrie." They give off such a detailed and pretty "color," see~?
Tsumugi: Yup, yup. That isn't something that can be replicated so easily~ It's the work of a genius. Let us do our best so that we don't get in their way, Sora-kun 🎵
Sora: Yes! "Switch" is also a wonderful "unit" that will not lose to "Valkyrie” 🎵
But anyway, does Senpai have some sort of business with Sora? Or did you just meet me by chance?
Tsumugi: No, I was looking for you, Sora-kun~
We'll be having a joint practice before the actual performance soon, you see. Once we gather Sora-kun and Mika-kun from "Valkyrie" we can start.
Sora: Ah! I'm sorry, Sora was having so much fun I forgot about the time!
Tsumugi: It's alright, as long as you had fun. Even in the possibility you ran late, I would definitely have come to pick you up as I did just now.
Sora: Yes! Senpai can find Sora no matter where he is, huh~🎵
Tsumugi: I`m quite good at things like finding people. If you look from a bird's eye view you can get a grasp of the whole situation. It's a privilege of being a bystander.
Mika-kun is also supposed to be around here. Have you caught a glimpse of him somewhere?
Sora: "Caught a glimpse" of "Mika"........
HiHi~ Bad puns make such a fun "color," huh? 🎵 (T/N: This is a joke that doesn't translate well into English. The pun here is that in the original text Sora says "Mika wo mikakeru." Because the beginning of both words are the same, Sora calls it a bad pun)
Tsumugi: No, it's not a bad pun~ I'm not Eichi-kun after all.
H~m, it's hard to believe that Mika-kun would forget the time of the joint practice. I wonder if he's run into some trouble.
I'm a little worried. It seems my calls won`t go through either.
Sora: HuHu~ There's a large crowd of people today, so the radio waves are producing a messy "color," see~?
If it's Mika-chan-san's "color" then I remember it. He's probably over here 🎵 This way, this way~

I also thought it`d be bad if I didn't hurry to the soundproof practice room, but these kids just won't let go of me, ya see.
Tsumugi: "These kids?" Wah, there's a bunch of small children, hmm...? Everyone is wearing costumes, so it feels a little like the night parade~🎵* (T/N: The 百鬼夜行 (hyakki yagyo) is Japanese folklore that consists a night parade of youkai that would spirit you away unless protected.)

Mika: Nnah, there's no pullin` the wool over Sora-kun's eyes, huh?
Yeah, these kids are acquaintances from my hometown. Seems like they came to cheer me on.
They didn't tell their moms and dads and rode the bullet train here after savin' up all their pocket money… Seems like they came to secretly watch the "Halloween Party."
Really now, it`s bad news for you guys to do stuff on your own ~ When I called back home everyone was real worried, ya know?
Tsumugi: Ahaha. That's just how badly they wanted to see you, Mika-kun. Isn't having people who will cheer you on a wonderful thing?

I thought everyone back home considered me a burden, but it looks like I'm unexpectedly rather liked.

Looks like they're big fans of me~ They own lotsa goods and whatnot.
But ya know, everyone... Make sure that you never ever follow my example. Don`t make yer mom and dad sad.
Tsumugi: There there, that's just what children do, so...
You properly contacted the families of these children, right? They came all the way out here, so it's fine to let them cheer you on.
Let's prepare some special seats for them. They're Mika-kun's precious fans after all.
Mika: Nn~ Tsumu-chan-senpai is soft when it comes to kids, huh.
I guess it`s fine, but once yer done watchin' the Live, all of ya make sure you get home properly. I`ll go with ya until we reach town.
Good grief. Even though ya went to the trouble of saving up all yer money, ya had to blow it on the fare for the bullet train...
This goes beyond the concept of Tricks. I can't win against you all.

Nnah? Ahh, it's not like I'm angry. Yer just kids after all. It's good that ya do what you want and what ya like to do.

Donderdag, January 19
Hello there!!  Two more weeks have gone by - crazy, right?  I sure think so…  Seriously, the time this past month or so has just FLOWN by, I can’t really fathom it.  I guess the time flies when you’re having fun, huh?  I’d appreciate it if we could just… slow down a little.  I’m almost to my halfway point!
These past few weeks have been less hectic than winter break was, so this blog post may be a little more boring.  But rest assured that I’m having a great time just… being here?  It’s been good, guys.
Last last weekend, my host parents and I hosted a party here, for their anniversary and Saskia’s birthday.  It was a really nice party!  I spoke in only Dutch the entire evening, and only had it spoken back to me, and participated in some really nice conversations.  All that Dutch was good for my ego, certainly :D  I chatted it up for a while, floating from group to group.  A bit later on, I met a boy a year or so younger than me.  We talked for the rest of the party, two hours or so!  About the obvious topics such as exchange and culture, but also just some shared interests.  It was really, really nice.  Once the party was pretty much over, my host family and I stayed up late talking to our neighbors.
Tumblr media
The whole night felt like what a dinner party back in the States would feel like, in a really good way.  I didn’t realize how much I wanted to share my opinion until I couldn’t anymore, so it felt comforting to have gotten over the language barrier (finally).
Well, I wouldn’t say I’m OVER the language barrier yet?  If we’re going with the idea that it’s an actual barrier: I’d say I’m reaching over the top, maybe with feet scrabbling in the air below me, but certainly latched onto by hands that are all willing to pitch in to drag me to the other side.  And, wow, does it feel good.  It’s so, so, so nice to be able to understand.  I actually know when my math teacher is making a joke now, guys!!  He’s just as funny as everyone had been telling me :D  But, yes, my Dutch continues to improve!  I really do understand quite a lot (and what I don’t, I can usually infer from body language or the other words in the sentence).  And everyone I talk to is so kind about helping me when I don’t understand.  I think I’m making all my friends here get better at explaining complicated words or things simply ahaha :D
Anyways!  The day after the party, we went to Thialf (a skating rink in Heerenveen) to watch the European (long distance) speed skating championships.  (At least, I’m pretty sure that’s what they were… Pretty sure.)  Speed skating isn’t really my thing, we found out, but I still thought it was a cool experience!
Tumblr media
Thialf is known for having really crazy fans.  The lady that was next to us was VERY into it, certainly, which was nice to see (if a little… intimidating).  And we got free NL gloves and hats!  They have a tradition at Thialf where, at the end of the day, the winners are paraded around the ice in a horse-drawn sleigh.  Cool, right?!?!  I thought so too!  Until they started pooping on the ice…  There were two men who followed behind picking up the poop as they skated which the entire audience found absolutely hilarious - us included ahaha :D
Tumblr media
Remember the history test that I was…. pretty sure I passed, but not completely?  Well, guess what?  I passed it!!  With an 8,9 - one of the highest grades in the class.  It felt really good to have gotten that grade (and it certainly raised my overall grade in the class quite a bit…ha…ha….ha….).  It seems I’m on a passing things streak, including but not limited to: my English test (yea… perhaps that shouldn’t count…), my Dutch test (I know, right! Although it was grammar, so I could actually study for it), and my math test (this next unit is gearing up to be much harder… wish me luck).
It snowed last week!  It wasn’t a lot, but it was enough to stick, which is enough for me!
Tumblr media
Although I found it a little less nice when I couldn’t feel my toes after biking to school as it was snowing…  But they soon warmed up, because that day we had gym class.  Now, I didn’t mind gym class back in California, but here I think it’s super cool.  Last week we did rings.  It felt like a mini aerials class in our gym :D  You literally grabbed the rings, then pushing off the floor and running a little, swung.  (Imagine a pendulum on a grandfather clock)  I thought it was a super cool thing to do in gym class!
Pretty much all of last week after school, I was working on my book report for Dutch class.  It was a little difficult, because the book I read was for ten year olds (I chose it so I could understand it ahaha), and not people our age.  That meant that a lot of the questions were a little hard to answer, because the book was simpler than the books my classmates had read.  I did feel good after, though - both the report and the book were all in Dutch.  It was kind of exciting to know I could do that.
Tumblr media
Speaking of school projects, we all just finished a big art one today!  Pretty much my entire art class (okay, that’s not saying alot… there’s only eight of us) came in today after lunch and just worked on our paintings until school officially ended (4 o’clock).  It was really nice and gezellig and :D
Tumblr media
My host mom and I have begun watching a TV show called ‘Wie is de Mol?’ (‘Who’s the Mole’ - although it looks a lot like English actually, the name of it).  I can’t really explain it well, buuut.  One person is the ‘mole’, and nobody else on the show (or of the viewers) knows who they are.  As the show continues, every week they must take a quiz about their current guess for the mole.  The person who scores the worst on the test gets sent home.  So the goal of the game is to figure out who the mole is, I suppose, while the mole is trying to fake the other participants out.  They do a really good job of keeping the viewers engaged - there’s an app, and everything ;)  My host mom and host aunt are really serious about it.  After ‘Wie is de Mol’, there is a program called ‘Mol Talk’, where participants from previous years analyze the episode, and apparently my host aunt watches that as well (Saskia and I aren’t quite that serious…).  So I think we’ll have a lot to talk about, next time we meet up ahaha!
Anyways, that’s it for today!  If there’s anything specific you’d like me to write about, be sure to let me know - I have no idea what you guys would find interesting to learn about.  That aside, see you in two weeks!

Tamaki Yotsuba RabbiTube Rabbit TV Part 1: Spending Time With Tamaki
- - - -
Tamaki Yotsuba: A King Pudding Museum..! Wow, I'm in heaven..!
Yamato Nikaido: Haha. Calling it heaven is a little much, don't you think?
Tsumugi Takanashi: He's our resident pudding lover, after all.
Sogo Osaka: I'm glad you like it. This museum was built at the end of last year, so I figured you hadn't been here yet.
Tamaki Yotsuba: Nope! Did you come up with this, So-chan!?
Sogo Osaka: No, it was Yamato-san's idea. He's the one who told us about the museum.
Yamato Nikaido: ...I would've been totally okay with you taking the credit for this, Sou...
Sogo Osaka: Why? I don't see any reason to lie about it.
Yamato Nikaido: I'm just here to keep things running smoothly.
Tamaki Yotsuba: Running..?
Yamato Nikaido: Hahaha. Don't think too hard on it. ...So, Tama, what do you wanna see?
Tamaki Yotsuba: Everything from this side of the place to that side of the place!
Sogo Osaka: ...Uh... The toilets are on that side of this floor...
Tamaki Yotsuba: I didn't mean the toilets!
Tsumugi Takanashi: Ah, here are  some pamphlets.
Yamato Nikaido: Thanks. ...Let's head over here, for starters. The King Pudding History Theater.
Tamaki Yotsuba: Let's go!!! Time to learn history!
Sogo Osaka: I wish he was this passionate about his actual studies...
- - - -
Tamaki Yotsuba: ...That was awesome..! I can't believe the pudding jar looks different from what it used to..!
Yamato Nikaido: I didn't really know about this pudding brand before we started living in the dorm together, so it was pretty interesting to me, too...
Tsumugi Takanashi: It turns out Princess Meringue's character wasn't added until much later..!
Sogo Osaka: ...Did they change the containers for convenience's sake? Or did they have some other reason for it? Maybe food products just change with the times...
Tamaki Yotsuba: ...So-chan, you're clearly thinking way too hard about this.
Sogo Osaka: Huh? I wouldn't say that...
Tamaki Yotsuba: You're not allowed to think hard today! And my word is law!
Sogo Osaka: It is?
Tamaki Yotsuba: Yep, since it's my birthday. ...I'm King Tamaki! Hehe.
Yamato Nikaido: That's one hell of a king we've got.
Tsumugi Takanashi: You're today's star, Tamaki-san, so you can ask us anything!
Sogo Osaka: Exactly. As long as it's something we can do, of course.
Tamaki Yotsuba: ...Anything...
Tamaki Yotsuba: ...In that case, I wanna eat this museum's limited edition pudding with you guys!
Yamato Nikaido: Wow, they've even got their own pudding flavor.
Tsumugi Takanashi: Let's see... according to the pamphlet, you can even go see where it's made!
Sogo Osaka: Are you sure you want to ask us something so small, Tamaki-kun?
Tamaki Yotsuba: It's not small. I know you and Yama-san don't like sweets.
Tamaki Yotsuba: But if I'm selfish and ask you to eat it together with me, maybe it'll taste better to you guys.
Yamato Nikaido: ...That doesn't even come close to being selfish, Tama.
Yamato Nikaido: Let's go have a treat! King's orders.
Yamato, Sogo, & Tsumugi: Yeah..!
Tamaki Yotsuba: Hehe. Awesome.
- - - -
Tamaki Yotsuba: Wow... Look at all those puddings on the conveyor belt!
Tamaki Yotsuba: I wonder if I could even eat this many in my lifetime.
Sogo Osaka: W-within your lifetime? Well, if you were to eat two every day for 80 years...
Yamato Nikaido: Sou, King Tamaki told you not to think too hard, remember?
Sogo Osaka: Ah... I-I'm sorry. I guess that was more of a rhetorical question.
Tamaki Yotsuba: ...I wish I could've come here with Aya and Mom, too.
Tsumugi Takanashi: Tamaki-san...
Tamaki Yotsuba: Haha. I know that's not possible. But King Pudding's just really special to me.
Sogo Osaka: ...We'll come here with all of IDOLiSH7 another time. You can count on that.
Tamaki Yotsuba: So-chan...
Yamato Nikaido: Yep. Sorry, manager, but we're hoping you could arrange our schedules for that...
Tsumugi Takanashi: Of course! I'll work something out!
Tamaki Yotsuba: Guys... Thanks a lot.
Yamato Nikaido: 'Kay, time to eat. Let's go have some of that limited edition pudding.
Sogo Osaka: I wonder what makes it so unique.
Tamaki Yotsuba: You get to pick your own toppings!
Tamaki Yotsuba: Also, you get to draw on the label!
Sogo Osaka: D-draw!?
Yamato Nikaido: That's pretty cool. Your pudding's guaranteed to be one- of-a-kind.
Tamaki Yotsuba: I know, right!? That's why I said this was heaven!
Yamato Nikaido: Haha. Figures.
Tsumugi Takanashi: No wonder so many of the people who passed us by were holding all kinds of puddings I'd never seen before!
Tamaki Yotsuba: Yeah! I'm gonna put a ton of chocolate sprinkles on mine. I wonder if they come in 7 colors?
Yamato Nikaido: Let's hope they do! And even if they don't we can use something else to make up for it.
Sogo Osaka: Just out of curiosity, do they have any spicy...
Tamaki Yotsuba: Nope!
Sogo Osaka: I knew it...
Tamaki Yotsuba: ...Listen.
Yamato Nikaido: Hm? What's up?
Tamaki Yotsuba: Thanks a lot... For bringing me here today.
Tamaki Yotsuba: King Pudding was a big part of my memories with Aya and Mom, so I'm really happy I get to share it with you guys.
Tamaki Yotsuba: We got to make some new memories together!
Tsumugi Takanashi: ...And we'll make many more, so your life as an idol is just as bright as your life was with them!
Yamato Nikaido: You're pretty dear to us, Tama. So you should tell us more about yourself.
Sogo Osaka: Can you teach us what kind of topping goes best with King Pudding?
Tamaki Yotsuba: Sure! But it's not gonna be beer or tabasco!
Tsumugi Takanashi: Hee hee. Let's use this chance to take a picture of you all..!
Tsumugi Takanashi: Say cheese..!

Momo Holiday Collection Rabbit TV Part 1: Momo's Christmas
Part 2 | Part 3
Rinto Okazaki: Momo-kun, Yuki-kun! Good work, as usual!
Rinto Okazaki: Just to wrap things up, I'm going to give you your schedule for tomorrow, as well as information on a new Christmas job for you.
Yuki: Christmas?
Momo: This Christmas?
Rinto Okazaki: This Christmas!
Yuki: How many does this make?
Rinto Okazaki: Six! I'd expected nothing less from Re:vale! You're so in vogue! It's very exciting!
Momo: It's because we've got such a great manager!
Momo & Rinto Okazaki: Yaaay!
Yuki: No, hold on. Aren't we working way too much?
Yuki: If we keep this up, both our fans and I will be in trouble, so...
Rinto Okazaki: You'll be filming a tie-in commercial for the Christmas coffret of the G-Rit cosmetics brand. Its theme will be: "A gift to those who've worked hard all year, or a reward for yourself"!
Rinto Okazaki: You'll shoot the CM and a poster, focusing promarily on the recording of your Christmas song for the CM, which will then be broadcasted over the holiday season on billboards and displays around the city...
Rinto Okazaki: There's also plans to put your posters up in shopping malls and train stations!
Momo: Okazaki cuts Yuki's vacation pass short, he shoots!
Momo: And he scores!!!
Yuki: He sure did.
Rinto Okazaki: I certainly did! Hang in there, Yuki-kun. TRIGGER and IDOLiSH7 will be working with you on this project!
Yuki: Ah, they will?
Momo: Oooh~!!! I love doing shoots with those guys, it's always so much fun!
Rinto Okazaki: Ah, no. Each group will be filming their respective CM separately.
Momo: Huh!? Then what's the point?
Rinto Okazaki: There is a point, Momo-kun, don't worry!
Rinto Okazaki: There are also plans for a limited number of customers to receive cards with Christmas messages from each idol when they purchase a coffret.
Momo: Huh!? They'll get a message dedicated to them from Yuki?
Rinto Okazaki: They will! They'll also receive one from you!
Yuki: In that case, we should go buy them together, Momo.
Momo: Yeah! We need to reserve our own G-RiT Christmas coffrets right now, Yuki!
Rinto Okazaki: Yes, thank you! That's the attitude you two need to maintain!
Rinto Okazaki: You're in such high spirits!
Yuki: No we're not, we had a hard time today.
Momo: And it's a shame that we dont even get to meet the others, even though we're working on this project together~.
Yuki: I guess so.
Momo: Oh, I know! Since it's Christmas, why don't we use this reward or present theme as an excuse to hold a party!?
Momo: It'll be a reward for them, and for us!
Yuki: Sounds good.
Rinto Okazaki: Hmm, will your schedules match up? You've also got other work this December...
Yuki: If we start arranging our schedules now, it should work out.
Momo: It doesn't have to be a long party! We'll contact Maneko-chan, Ban-san, and Kaoru-chan, so all you need to do is arrange a couple things!
Yuki: We need a breather. Momo's cute when he's all fired up like this, and I'll do my best, too.
Re:vale: Please, Manager Okazaki!
Rinto Okazaki: ...Very well!!! If you insist, then I'll do my best to help. I do want you to be able to rest, after all.
Re:vale: Awesome!
Yuki: Thank you, Manager Okazaki.
Momo: I'll message everyone right now!
- - - -
Momo: Oh, Tenn! Good work today!
Tenn Kujo: Good work. Thank you for the party invitation.
Momo: Sorry for springing it up on you out of nowhere. Do you think you can make it?
Tenn Kujo: It's not for certain yet, but Anesagi-san seems to be adjusting things so I can come.
Momo: Wow! It'll beso much fun to have a Christmas party with TRIGGER!
Tenn Kujo: I'm looking forward to it, as well. Gaku and Ryu were happy to receive an invitation to something like this, since we don't usually tend to take time off.
Momo: Really!? You're making me wanna sponsor you guys!
Tenn Kujo: I believe meeting outside of work like this can be stimulating for both of us.
Momo: I see. I'll have to make sure the party is happy and stimulating enough for you, then!
Momo: Ah! By the way, I had a job with Ryu the other day!
Momo: So I asked him to cook for us!
Tenn Kujo: I see. I hope you'll enjoy Ryu's delicious cooking.
Momo: Since it's a party, I thought it'd be nice if everyone brought something! Plenty of the IDOLiSH7 boys seem to bee good cooks, too!
Tenn Kujo: Speaking of IDOLiSH7, I had work with Riku the other day. He was very excited for the party.
Momo: Oh, that's nice to hear!
Momo: I'm your senior, after all. I'm sure these kinds of invitations can be kind of hard to turn down, even if you want to.
Tenn Kujo: Momo-san, it's very considerate of you to worry about something like that... Thank you.
Momo: Ahaha! I'm still your senior, after all! But don't tell anyone I said that!
Tenn Kujo: Alright. He was genuinely excited, though. So I told him to take care of his workload, first.
Momo: Ahaha, you really are his big brother!
Tenn Kujo: Naturally, I also want to do well at work for this party.
Momo: Tenn... You're so stoic and hansome!
Tenn Kujo: I take everything I do seriously. That includes vacations, and the party.
Momo: I don't really know how you can take a vacation so seriously!
Momo: But I'll try to come up with lots of fun stuff, so you can relax a little!
Tenn Kujo: Thank you. I'll do my best to follow your example.
Momo: You're such a stoic~!
