going thru my own old art via the aghhtdraws tag and..... wow, my art is pretty ding-dang good!!

I've always liked my own drawings and arts but there will often be moments where I feel frustrated with the world or even just one drawing or moment itself. Like sometimes there'll be bad days and the art wont be that good either. But it feels good to draw and that feeling itself is often what I'm looking for when making something new. just the fact that I made something starts to make the work itself better eventually in my eyes.

I think I don't really complain a lot about how I draw or how annoying something is about the process, so it might not show that it's a struggle but.... guess I just wanted to express how it's ok to feel like your art ain't working out. that's alright. sometimmes (or even often), it takes work to like your work,

even when it sounds like I'm not feeling particularly bad about mine. a drawing I made might look bad in a moment but a few moments or weeks, years from it... it'll look alright again.

and well, a lot of times a drawing will just look different from moment to moment, which is totally normal too. i.e. you drew it at night when tired vs you're looking at it the next morning

Here's what the new Scatter Mix bitmap brush type looks like in action! Some test with basic shapes on one layer and 2 previously existing bitmap brushes which I used as scatter watercolor previously.

So, we finally have a custom mix brush option!!! This is like the Fingerpainting/Mix brush which you can create from the default brushes list, but you can use your own custom bitmap. This is so cool! No need to experiment with your watercolor brushes with minimum color anymore, this brush will only mix and not add color :)

random SanUso from this week bc I haven't drawn any fanart in so long, it just called to me ;>w>

a few days into february, i caught up with One Piece for the first time since 10 years ago and One Piece has been on my brain for the past 3+ weeks now (after I finished watching OPLA haha)

Anyway, I don't post a lot of ship art, but this is an old ship I liked in the early days of browsing FF in the mid-00s or so and it's been popping up in my head that these characters still feel sorta close. This art isn't much but I just wanted to play around with inks and colors a bit. It's cool seeing so much fanart of the ship these days!!! I like Usopp, he's a fun character, and Sanji's just the sort who gives a shit a bit too much. They can be fun and silly together, caring but also daring in different situations. It's a fun dynamic!

anyway smth possessed me to draw this just because I could. busting out of the art block like HEY….I'M HERE….

Lineups and outfit ideas for my TMNT x USAGI mega-crossover! Pt 1!

Heyo! so this was done a while ago (summer and a bit of autumn) but I wasn't in the mood to post it yet as I was very busy this past year.

Here we have: Gen, Chizu, Kitsune and Usagi in undercover outfit ideas for when they find themselves in New York city in 2023, where they're found out by a few strange older turtles... and some of the 2003 cast from 2023! Don't worry, I have another sheet for Mikey and Donnie, they are not absent from this crossover :)

Hope you enjoy! These were very fun to draw and put together :) I'm particularly proud of that Gen and Kitsune!

The prompts were monsters and hurt/comfort and I liked both so I tried to combine them! I know these aren’t really very monster designs for them... I was thinking dragons and gargoyles but kept working towards something simpler. I hope they look monster-ish anyway!
