I absolutely adore your IF! the aesthetics, the storytelling, the mystery, the fantasy elements.. everything. I've never read an IF where I've had such a hard time choosing someone to romance. usually I only gravitate toward 1-2 ROs but with yours, I want to romance all of them!!! excuse me while I ramble... [spoilers ahead]

Death: everything they do is just so cute. the way they kept glancing at us from afar at the bar, and that scene where they're lying in our bed and tells us how pretty we are... I was kicking my legs and screaming internally

Lilith/Damien: hottie alert!! can't help but be drawn to them even knowing how dangerous and scheming devils can be... my MC be shamelessly flirting with them in front of yaga and peisinoe

Morgan(a): so charming and swoon-worthy. that dinner date was so romantic! it doesn't help my heart that the Morgan character art reminds me of howl from howl's moving castle... and the angst potential with them being a mortal... I can't wait to see where this goes

Peisinoe: the scenes of their past were heart-wrenching, I just want them to be happy :'( I also love how you've written out the lyrics to their performances, I really feel the melancholic vibes

Hastur: I'm a sucker for the stoic duty-bound types! I can't wait to break down his walls... hehehehe

He Without Name: I can't wait to find out more about him and unravel his mysterious past! really curious as to whether he will take on a more solid form and be able to interact better at the end..? having read up to the memoriam update, I do have a theory about him being related to adamot somehow - I could be totally off, but he said his purpose was to keep balance? whereas tehomot is for entropy/chaos. and maybe he is "the child" that tehomot was referring to in that council of nine scene. also I can't get out of my head how for Valentine's Day, he would just leave a flower under our pillow <3 simple, but cute and impactful

Every time I hear a jazz song lately, I just Imagine Peisinoe singing it. I can’t help but stan them.

Scottie would literally go behind the Toppat Clan to protect his friendship with Charles and help him just like he helped Scot! Charles will forever be loyal to Scottie and Scottie alone with his friends! Charles also uses his healing abilities to help Scottie and the two of them have their flaws but in the end they both need each other for BOTH of their mental health!

AAAAH! THE TWO OF THEM ALSO HAVE MUCH ANGST!! Benzy is so fucking TORN by what happened to Scot that he literally wants to harm himself just so Scottie will maybe accept him as a family member! But we all know that’s a load of nonsense! But the two of them need to overcome their emotions as well as move on! Benz feels left out sometimes but in the darkest of times Scot and Benz need each other to support each other as brothers! They also help each other with the whole… “not wanting to be a girl thing” WHICH IS SO WHOLESOME!

AAH! THIS FAMILY! THIS FAMILY MAKES ME CRY!! REGINALD NEEDS TO TAKE CARE OF HIS SWEET BABY JAY!! Reginald LOVES Jay so much and wants to protect him forever! Jay reminds Reg so much of him when he was younger and Reginald always cares and thinks about Jay even in moments when Reginald is being a hypocrite at times! Okay, we can talk about how fluffy and wholesome cylou is AAALLL day. Which it totally is! It's definitely cute, and I think they have a lot of fluffy wholesomeness potential :)

But, they also have SO much potential for angst...👀

Just a hypothetical idea- but Cyno states that being associated with him already puts you in danger due to his title (I think during his story quest?? I'm not sure, but I definitely remember him saying this). And yeah, although Cyno is incredibly intimidating, there are gonna be people who try and get him anyway.

I think this is why Cyno would want his relationship with Nilou to be private. For comfortability, but also to keep Nilou safe. However, what if somehow their relationship gets leaked to a sketchy group of people👁️👁️ a group of people who have beef with the General Mahamatra for whatever reason

So they decide to exploit their relationship, and pretty much kidnap Nilou (I don't think it would be that hard tbh....I adore Nilou with all my heart, but she's not all the way there💀 she's noy stupid or anything, maybe a bit airheaded and naive?)

Cyno finds out, and he's pissed, but he's also terrified. For the first time, he's scared of what may happen because Nilou is involved. What if they hurt her?? What if they've done awful things to her?? Do they plan on doing anything to her?? Have they already hurt her?? Is it....is it his fault??

Cyno finds them, and the group didn't really think this through because when he finds them there is a look of pure rage on his face. He manages to take care of them, and Nilou ends up okay(maybe a few scratches) though she's a bit shaken. But she had trust that Cyno would come and save her, even if she was scared. Before Nilou can say or do anything, Cyno pulls her into a tight embrace, so tight that it could suffocate her. All while mumbling "I'm sorry" over and over.

And after that, Cyno decides that in order to keep Nilou safe, they need to break off their relationship. Even if it hurts him. Because it would hurt him more if Nilou got hurt because of him :(

This is all very much hypothetical lol, as I like to add a bit of drama to my ships🤭

Sorry if this doesn't match up with some of your hcs, I just really wanted to tell somebody🫠

(When she was so hype to break law when Alhaitham share with her the plan against akademiya kskdsfdsdf) Cyno would like to break up for protecting Nilou, and this is when she start to be mad against him for the first time "Cyno, I am not weak !" before continuing the discussion with a smile, reassuring her man. "It is true, I was so scared. But Cyno, I am more scared to not being able staying with you. I know what is the best for me" or something like this ckvdkv "I will leave, only if it your true wish.." saying this with a bittersweet smile

What made you ship Eivor and Basim together? What was it that made you feel that they had chemistry? (I’m asking because I’m curious and it’s a bit of a different ship) so I’m wondering what was it that made you ship them in the first place if you get what I mean.

Hoooo. I hope you're ready for another novel. 😶

First a disclaimer: It's important to note that this is my opinion and how I feel about the ship; I don't speak for everyone. Second, I enjoy other ships as well. It simply happens that Eivor and Basim is my favourite. (This is not necessarily aimed at you, ask. Just in general if anyone happens to stumble upon this.) A lot of my feelings about this ship are based on my own observations and interpretation of events. 😌

That being said:

What makes me ship Eivor and Basim?

I adore these characters. They're layered and complicated; beautifully flawed.

And I love the potential their ship has.

Their dynamic - Even if there is an odd power dynamic, I love how they push and challenge each other. This creates an interesting tension, perhaps chemistry, as they navigate their differences.

Gods, the potential levels for angst? It's through the roof with this one. Endless amounts if one wants it. The shared pain, personal struggles, and the possibility of conflicting loyalties and goals........ SO MUCH potential for deep and emotional STUFF. The potential for love and betrayal adds such HIGH emotional stakes and intrigue, like 👀 The stakes! THE STAKES!

Their banter:

I love hearing them talk together in-game. Basim is silver-tongued, and Eivor is a poet. Their word battles are annoyingly interesting because they're both so incredibly smart. I love it when Basim challenges Eivor's world-view, and when Eivor seems able to disarm Basim with her honesty and the heart she carries around on her sleeve.

This fragile trust that eventually develops between them:

Basim tells Eivor of his son and the one who took him away. Something that he hasn't even outright told Hytham. I believe Basim truly comes to care for Eivor, making it that much more bitter when he realises exactly who "haunts" her. I mean, imagine the heartbreak or the potential for growth as Basim would have to choose between his vengeance and someone he loves? How would he feel if he actually knew that Eivor rejected Havi?

Eivor accepts Basim as part of her family by telling him he and Hytham will always have a place - a home - in Ravensthorpe. She knows, oh she knows that to Basim, home is family. And she offers up herself and her own family to him. 😭

Again, the dynamic: Makes my brain go brrrrrr.

They have some of that good good "Don't know if I want to kiss you or kill you"-energy. 🫣

I believe, and feel, that where there are strong emotions, there can be passion.

To me, while both Eivor and Basim attempt to act calm and collected in the face of any storm(Basim succeeding more than Eivor on most accounts, at least until he snaps), they're both very much driven by their emotions and come off as deeply passionate beings. Basim with a thick layer of intellect and calculation between his emotions and actions. While Eivor and her emotions are firmly guided by her goals and even desires, she's much more likely to act on impulse.

I think Carlo Rota, Basim's voice actor in Valhalla, also has a point:

"In watching renditions of Basim/Eivor told with the slant of a love story or rather a lost love story I was blown away. It never occurred to me prior to seeing this and yet it makes so much sense regardless of whether it's Female or Male Eivor. Love and hate are two sides of the same coin..."

Love and hate are deep and potent feelings. And sometimes, it's hard to tell when that line has been crossed.

The ambiguity and intensity of their (potential) feelings *chefs kiss*

EDIT:

In my own eagerness, I forgot to mention the very obvious Campfire Cutscene. 😶🥲 The campfire cutscene just showcases such a soft and vulnerable moment for both of them. Basim opens up about the loss of his son, and Eivor reciprocates by sharing her own experiences. The understanding between them. The acknowledgement of the other's loss. The fostering of this fragile trust.... HNNN. 😭

I like them so much they make me incoherent 🥲😭

i'm going to rummage through ao3 as a treat so maybe i'll be lucky haha i'll send it to you if that's ok and if i find anything.👀

i started reading fics on ao3 not so long ago, so my collection is humble and classic, still...

these are purely gen/plot and character focused with rare nsfw scenes:

small secret spaces – i adore this absolute gut punch of a fic, it's about 2k words and is written from bull's tama perspective. absolutely heartbreaking as anything regarding bull's time on seheron.

there's also i can see us gather at the gates from the same author, a 36k words work in progress, bull x f!trevelyan. it studies them both in opposition to each other, this one got me thinking and feeling for days.

there's also a very short the sea is unchanged in the same series, i recommend lilith_morgana's works in general, because just as this one, they're always written with such love for the characters, as well as with wise, mature understanding of them.

ebasit – a different author, another character study, 12k. so far the only inquisitor!bull fic i've seen, not even on ao3, and by god it's tasty. it's adoribull and bull x josephine, but still mostly a character study. bull seems to be more serious and tough here than as a companion. there is also one thing about adoribull that'll absolutely break your heart in the best way possible.

but there's a twist is an almost 60k words modern au adoribull fic that's definitely worth checking out because i'm not overestimating when i'm saying that it's got everything. this will be painful, this will be sweet and rewarding. and the title does not lie. again, this fic seems to be just one of a kind, very glad a thing like this just exists. also, lilacsolanum is overall an amazing writer,

and vasaad proves it. i respect any fic that touches on vasaad's character because there's just so much angst potential in just a few words cole says in canon, and this one? nailed it. it's also 6k words adoribull. bull's got some baggage, bull's gotta understand that dorian's not afraid of it.

(there's also my father and his father before him from the same author, but even though it's an adoribull fic, it's more of a study of dorian. also highly recommend, gets you very invested in dorian's depressed shenanigans. also the best portrayal of halward i've seen.)

continuing with the vasaad theme, triptych is probably one of the most well-known works on this list. adoribull 41k words soulmate au. it's got such a good grasp on bull's grief. the soulmate au reality only enhances it. i was fascinated at how the system of qunari names was intertwined with the significance of names for the soulmate au. and vasaad? oh. he haunts the entire work, and frankly, it feels right.

cassandra and the chrysanthemum caper is going to be right up your alley if you enjoy older characters exploring pining and slow burning in 16k words while being rather oblivious about it. cassandra x bull, the divine and her bodyguard, and everything you can expect from these two. bonus points for bull with a disability.

stuck on the puzzle – ok, actually this one is the most well-known on this list. i don't really interact with content about cullen, and it's his pov in this cullen x bull 200k beast. but this is a very well-crafted and thoughtful work. plus, there is also an interesting exploration of characters and non-sexual bdsm. just very solid writing.

darkened room – sigh, who doesn't like good ol' ptsd-flavoured nightmares? especially when it's adoribull.

maraas kata – somehow whenever there's qunlat in the title you know it's gonna be good. i consider this to be a bull's trauma exploration. dorian and bull are visiting seheron, very bittersweet. bitter because of course, it's seheron, sweet because bull's got support, and he's not alone.

another country – and another fic from venndaai whose works are absolutely beautiful. not very long. it's adoribull, and i'm weak for time traveling. especially for meeting your loved one in the past. especially when it's this sweet and touching.

so shall it be – rather short bull x adaar, consists of a very technical approach to bondage while also being non-sexual. and it's just sweet!

also, there is some stuff i'm in the process of reading, but still enjoy and find interesting:

run home – i'm only starting reading that one, but i already know it's a high quality work that studies characters in-depth, bull x f!lavellan, bull is an adoptive father of a kid!krem, plus, it's little league au.

better angels – i'm still in the process of reading it, but so far i find it lighthearted and like writer's inquisitor and sense of humor. the plot of m!lavellan x bull losing their memory and trying to piece everything together seems interesting!

aneth ara – as it's easy to realize, i'm in the process of reading many fics. but whenever i see f!lavellan x bull exploration that's over 100k words, i just can't help myself. :) plus, i really like how it's written, it seems very well-built to me.

since it's bull, there's also a good chunk of pretty hot purely pwp stuff:

kindle and char and enflame and ignite – adoribull playing pirates. :) it's pretty lighthearted and sweet, very nice experience!

the summit shrouded in fog – this cullen x bull and x dorian will be your jam if you like more intense scenes. it explores how violent bull is and how it interacts with him being a dom among other things. that's actually not the thing i've seen discussed much before in various texts, so that's cool.

got 180 degrees (and i'm caught in between) – this is a pretty recent work on dorian x krem x bull, made me go !!! i just love krem very much.

come on, get higher – just wanted good ol' bottom!bull and i got it. this is adoribull. also, i know that justjasper created a big amount of works for adoribull in general, and afaik they all are worth checking out,

such as katoh, for example. a very touching compilation of moments between dorian and bull that are sharing the common theme of communication. i like when authors work with the watch word use, it's as important as a good scene.

rivers in the sand – i dunno how explicit it might be considered, so it goes here. adoribull, bull sees similarities between the seheron and the hissing wastes, definitely has a ptsd episode running as an app in the background. bonus points for dorian finding bull being a nerd hot because same.

anyways, thank you sooo much for asking and giving me a chance to rumble about fics i love about a character i love! sorry if i took the task way too seriously, haha. surely there can be much more even with my little experience of ao3, but i'll stop here.

They were two different people: I've been looking for a way to describe the differences between teenage Mavid and adult Mavid and this is just perfect, because if LBAF 4 had been different, less cruel to them they would've been different-saddest part is that Lance's accident has a huge part in it so Mallory isn't a canon event but them changing so much is, right? Please tell me I'm wrong

Every life (like IALS, FMF, LBAF) has a lot of pain for them to get through as a couple and that's one of their things. It's part of their story. OMG DON‘T DO THAT TO ME! I just love them all too much to able to rank them! 😭 (But I will try my best for you)

1. KitTy: Okay, that one was pretty obvious! But I just love them both as characters and their dynamic is amazing (I mean the knife to throat at their first meeting? That was iconic). I also just love the angst (I know, arrest me) and the friends-to-lovers trope! I‘m so excited for them in TWP because they have so much potential!

2. Thomastair: They just stole my heart from the moment I read the Paris scene. Their story was so wholesome and I love how they complement each other (Thomas being more confident and Alastair finally being able to be his true self). Their scenes in CHOT were my favourite and arghh I could rant hours about them.

3. Wessa & Herondaisy: Look, I really can‘t choose between those two. They are both relationships that are so dear to me and that have so much angst and miscommunication (two tropes I quite adore). I wish we could have seen more of married and happy Herondaisy in CHOT, but they are one of my favourites nonetheless! As for Wessa: They are such relationship goals (Get yourself a man that talks about books with you and will do everything to save you).

Just played the demo for the first time, I really like the whole concept of the story! I think it's been the only story I've read about elemental users in a modern setting, so I can't help but find it refreshing (bonus points for having ATLA/TLOK as inspos, good taste indeed).

My thoughts, in no particular order: I want to give MC a warm hug, a fluffy blanket and a cup of hot chocolate (+ praying that the lightning deity that blessed MC will also smite the orphanage and Mother down in the future. Do it for the poor little meow meow, o great deity!), Mother sounds like one of the caretakers or the head of the orphanage, I love L and A to bits, after the new info about J (what with MC having trauma regarding earth weavers) I'm looking forward to their interactions w/ MC, I hope we see Professor Astor again...

Lore questions that popped in my head: Do people know how many elemental deities are? Since there's apparently a hierarchy in place... And the fact that lightning as an element is very rare for weavers makes me think that there're probably more deities for an element than others (either that or the deity is very stingy with their blessing lmao).

Romance-centered thoughts: I absolutely will romance all of the ROs, I can't resist their allure at all. I'm making three separate playthroughs as I speak 🏃‍♀️ (though I have to admit I'll romance A first. 'Cold and detached exterior with a warm and nice side underneath it all for those who break their walls' characters are my one-hit K.O. weakness fr 😔). It also makes me think... How would you rate the RO routes for slowburn and angst purposes? L and A seem to have some baggage concerning their families, J is a mystery for now, and MC can be the biggest touch-averse yet touch-starved person in the whole story. Also, the implications of some of the choices make me imagine that MC could potentially not see themselves as someone worth loving, you know. They're gonna be so confused and scared at the whole falling in love business that will ensue in the future 😭.

Ohhh I love asks like these. They make me re-think some of the decisions I’ve made while writing - in a good way of course!

I’ve always adored the world of ATLA/TLOK (though I admit I have not finished the original series yet, only Korra’s). The little fanfics I’ve written for it (for myself only) are my favorites

The amount of deities that exist are unknown, but there is more to be revealed about the existence of weavers like the MC in the future. Let’s just say that the realm of elemental deities have their own shit to take care of 👀

The relationship angst and pacing entirely depends on how MC interacts with them romantically. The variables for MC affection for RO, and RO affection for MC are separate. I’ll just let you imagine what that means 😏

Hope your doing ok 🥰 would it be alright if I request what if hcs for healer Happy please 🙏 ( he has so much potential and I wish we saw him do more things , maybe him even getting his own arc where he’s a healer and how he feels that Wendy is also a healer to , could be happy to have another pair of hands to help heal the team or angst that the team might not need him anymore👀)

Ohhhh healer happy. I remember mentioning it all the way in Phantom or TOH on this blog, okay, here I go,

Healer Happy would, to preface, separate himself from Wendy in the sense that he's a resourceful healer, while Wendy is a magic healer. This means he's the one to run to when you need bandages, medicine, herbs, heat packs, needles, etc. Wendy doesn't need those items because she can heal any of those (including sores, motion sickness, so she doesn't need any tools or home remedies) but since troia works less the more you stack, Happy continues to come through with warm ginger teas and massages. Or a wrench, or a hammer, or a fish! Or frozen peas. He also has scissors and hair clips and staples and anything you can think of that fits inside a very well-furnished first aid kit. He throws them at enemies when he's fighting, they all come out of his bag.

Whether his bag is an endless doraemon sack, or if he uses requip to seem like he's pulling ridiculous things out of his bag-- up to you. I think it's funny to see him pull a huge bag of ice out of his tiny bag and flip them over someone's head, goodbye

This gives me a fun idea, honestly-- he'd definitely hang around Porlyusica's place a lot. She hates humans, and I think that canonically extends to cats as well, but let's say it doesn't. (thinking about the jade dragon from GMG graveyard and maybe all dragons are silly tolerant with cats. Maybe that can be a trend. She is an Edo version of a dragon after all--) but anyways! Maybe he's her pseudo-apprentice of sorts, since she does the classic witchy potionmaking. ('Apprentice' as in he stares at her while she works, from some corner of the building or thorugh the window. And she gave up trying to chase him out.)

I'd imagine a sort of Dr Kureha and Chopper type dynamic. Maybe she's where Happy gets the knowledge from (Happy-sensei exposition duty,) she doesn't directly teach him anything, but he does learn a lot just from hanging around her house.

Which would mean the two people Happy are closest with both have pink hair hahaaa I kinda wanna see Meredy and Sherry learning this, thinking it's adorable, and trying to get into the club. I would think he loves sakura season because of the pink. There is... so much chopper similarity what the hell. Even Dr Kureha's catchphrase is 'ya happy?' and I'm obsessed with that actually. Reincarnation fic I need

I would imagine just like in battle, Wendy has less actual field knowledge. Which means we could have situations like setting bones properly before healing them (because healing them right away would fuse wrong and cause permanent damage). Or situations where Wendy can heal a contagious epidemic, but they have no idea where it comes from-- Happy would be able to realize it's a magic problem, or a virus, or a curse, and where it'd come from (animals, trees, sewage, etc.) We could also have Happy the therapy cat, where people go to him to talk feelings. We could address the PTSD or depression that's displayed in some characters. Maybe he's already helping them through some of it! Maybe he displays some of this when Edolas happens and it's the breakthrough that pulls Carla out of her darkness? And so on, and so forth.

I can imagine FT would take a more genuine direction with their injuries if there was a healer happy. The anime erases most of them, but I'd like to see Happy actually scolding people who are too reckless when injured (most of our boys,) needlessly causing injuries around in barfights (splinters are hard to get out! Hey!) or even refusing medical advice to go be stupid. (I'd like to see a situation where someone's stubborn for a mild injury, it gets worse, and becomes permanent damage. Eg Thunder Legion not bothering with persistent eye discomfort, only to figure out too late there's an infection and end up with blind/astig/photokeratitis/migraines. It could serve as a lesson for the rest and a character building moment for happy. Maybe something like that could even be in the BoFT, where Happy points this out to Lucy and that helps them win the fight.) I'd like to think we could include Loke in this group of people that Happy mother-hens the hell out of, because something's always been weird about him, Happy just doesn't know what.

All that doesn't stop him from maybe feeling a little obsolete or distressed about his role in the team once Wendy arrives, though. I feel he'll overlap with Wendy a lot, and if there was an arc about him, I'd expand on this. How-- well, by having Wendy and Natsu switch cats for a mission! (It'd be set right after Wendy joins.) It seems like Carla and Natsu are both headstrong, straightforward types, while in this AU Wendy and Happy are a little more humble, behind-the-scenes, and resourceful healers. This duality will make a fun shenanigans arc where they work together to find their flaws and differences and learn to appreciate both their original partners and their new addition to the guild. Wendy is still learning the ropes, so Happy gets to be 1. a big brother for once (he's usually baby of the family always) and 2. learn about finding individuality, confidence, and strength at your own pace. (Something Wendy is also working her way through, but from a different perspective from Happy.)

Thank you for the ask!! This will be a ramble of me, so I'll put my opinions under "read more"

Invisible Poison (Fiona x Tyrian)💚💜

Funnily enough, despite me being the one who introduced you to this ship, I will admit that my liking for them has sort of lowered, but I do know it has to do with Fiona not being that much explored as a character, so putting her together with an ecentric character like Tyrian, with who she doesnt have any type of dynamic with, does make it a little bit hard for me to get very invested in the ship :[

But I am re-watching RWBY, so when I'll get to Vol 7, I'll see Fiona once again and my spark for the pairing could come back.

(Can we also talk about how no one seems to have writen a single fic about them? Not even a smut one? But at the same time there's 7 works of Jaune x Fiona??

Y'know, shit is getting hopeless if no one in RWBY fandom had made at least one chapter of you ship in their extremly smutty fic :/)

(I already have many wips, but screw it, they're on my priority wip lists now...I say as I haven't touched my Tyrian x Fiona wip for a whle now)

Despite my lowered love for them, I know that what drew me to this ship at first, was their Faunus identities - Fiona being a sheep Faunus & Tyrian is a scorpion Faunus.

I still dont know how to put in words, but with both being different type of Faunus, it would have been interesting to have it explored how both could've been treated because of their identities and how it impacted them. (I know this isnt much of a point towards the ship, but hush)

In general, the whole "sheep = innocent" "scorpion = dangerous" thing and have these two different people some odd Enemies to Lovers story going on between them.

Also Tyrian is the type of character who does know how to push others buttons, so I like the idea of him meeting Fiona and him noticing things about her that she may hide about herself from others. (Which would have explored Fiona's character a bit). And he just keeps pushing these buttons.

Then there's also their loyalty to their leaders - both being devoted to Robyn/Salem, but the difference is that Fiona & Robyn care about each other and have a good relationship, while Tyrian has unhealthy dynamic with Salem.

So, yay parallels...sort of.

Even if there isn't much in canon, except for Tyrian attacking Fiona, this pairing in fanon is still interesting and in a way funny if we focus on the absurd humor potential.

Like, imagine Tyrian of all people having this lovely family life with Fiona?? (I actually drew a fankid for them :D)

(For now I have named her Ophelia)

Just like in fanon, they would be fun to explore in AUs.

Them knowing each other since they were kids, but not being excatly friends? Tyrian ditching Mantle as he grows up and the elections being a place where they reunite after all these years?

I can smell the angst here, fellas.

This isn't mine AU, but an AU where Tyrian is one of the Ace Ops? What then their dynamic could've been?👀

Of course, there's the whole aesthetic of their characters, which I like.

In general, I like them and think it would be an interesting pairing to explore.

Ironhill (Ironwood x Robyn) 🤍💚

Gonna be honest, I have wanted to talk about them without worrying I might be annoying, but now that I've been asked about them, my brain suddenly is empty, not knowing what correct answer should I give😅

(I haven't watched Vol 7 for a while now, so might misremember some of the stuff)

I actually didn't expect myself to even consider this ship at all, but then this happened

Robyn, who up until this moment didn't trust Ironwood, realized that he genuinly cares and wants to protect others, that he isn't doing all of this for himself. He isn't her enemy.

(The way both at the start looked each other with distrust and dislike in their eyes, only for the way they look change as their views of the other change as well)

And it pretty much made me adore this ship. And of course, there's also their dislike of Jacques as well.

While they didn't share much moments were it as just two of them, them working together was enough for me...I say as them holding hands lives rent free in my hand (👏THEY👏HELD👏HANDS👏YOUR👏HONOR👏)

Of course, them trusting each other isn't the only thing about them.

I really suck at putting my thoughts into words, but while Ironwood does care for both Mantle and Atlas, he still is mostly at Atlas, while Robyn is potrayed to represent Mantle, so like them working together not only to rebuild the hole in the wall in Mantle, but also uniting Atlas and Mantle. And with both of them becoming allies, they wouldn't fall for the bad guys attempts at making them distrust each other. And when the evil is deafeated they would continue working together. (but Vol 8 decided to ruin this idea-)

(As a divorced Ironwatts believer, I also think it would be funny if like Watts saw them on the tv, holding hands and just was a very bitter ex about it.

"Oh, wow. Someone moved on pretty quickly if you ask me🙄😒" he says as it hasn't been 10 years already + the world believes he's dead)

Then there's this small things, like of both having shooting type weapons (and them shooting at Tyrian/Watts is a parallel in my eyes-) and they way they adress one another - "General" & "Miss Hill". There's just something about characters calling the other by anything but their names🤌

Obviously, my mind had to once more imagine a scenario where they protect each other with their weapons and slowly start adressing the other with their first names.

I also once came across a reddit post which talked about how Robyn also seemed to be paraniod and it made me think back to her Semblance and with how Semblances are based on the user, I made a hc that maybe Robyn either had her trust shattered mutliple times in her childhood, making her only to know the truth so she wouldn't get hurt anymore or that behind her confident personality Robyn is nervous/anxious person, which is what resulted into the creaton of her Semblance.

And in a way Ironwood could understand how it feels like you can't always be sure of things or feeling like things will fall apart no matter what and they could develop a bond from it. (which then would make Ironwood's villain arc heartbreaking for Robyn, because to her, he was one of the few who truly understood her struggles)

I know they didn't have much of a dynamic, but I like to imagine them having this teasing going on (with Robyn being the main one to tease Ironwood) Just two of them enjoying each ones company. I'm aware it's mostly fanon, but it's just a fun thing for me.

While I enjoyed this ship, I had been spoiled about Ironwood becoming a villain before, so it kind of sucked seeing the potential of his & Robyn's dynamic and knowing it will not get a chance to get explored. And let me tell you, wasn't big fan of Ironwood's villain arc. Also I started disliking Roby as the Volumes progressed :/

But hey, that's what fanfiction is for right? There's probably something on ao3-Aaaaaaand it's smut. Great, I'm in hell :)

Ladybug (Blake x Ruby)🖤❤️

When I started watching RWBY for the first time, they did not catch my eye at all, but then I picked up the show again and BAM Ladybug strucks my heart.

From their conversation in Vol 1, I was quickly sold to this pair. I just like this contrast between them - Ruby the younger, optimistic leader with a dream that can be seen childish and Blake being the more realistic, but outspoken teammate with a huge goal in mind.

Even if they didn't get much screen time together, there still were those small things that made like Ladybug even more - Ruby being the main one who openly worries about Blake after her argument with Weiss or when Blake refused to go to the dance, Ruby being the one to find Blake isn't in her bed and wanting to find her, Ruby straight up not seeing a point to go to the dance if Blake wasn't coming, Ruby being the first one to bring up Blake after she, Weiss and Yang had reunited and being the one who speak with Blake when the reunite with her at the end of Volume 5.

While this all is from Ruby's side, I will add that in Volume 5, Ruby was the first name Blake said whenever she brought up her team to Sun, so a win for shippers/j

Then there's Volume 6 with it's Apathy Arc and let me tell you, when I first watched it, my shippers heart was screaming in joy when Ruby reached out to Blake and activated her Silver Eyes.

Of course there's also Volume 7/8 (?) (i don't remember tbh) with it having Blake's whole speech about how Ruby inspired her, but because I feel like hers and Ruby's relationship didn't get explored in the story, the speech sort of also felt flat, because why not show the progress of how Blake views Ruby.

Their lack of screen time will always annoy me, but this criticism isn't aimed only at Ladybug, but at Team RWBY in general.

So, yeah, wish we had more of them and their reunion in Volume 9 should have been more emotional, but no, only Blake's and Yang's reunion can be emotional, I mean it's not like Blake and Ruby fell down together, with Blake having went after Ruby to save her-OH WAIT.

Anyway, I shall hc that Ruby has a crush on Blake and she's finds herself feeling a bit jealous of Yang.

But yeah, their whole aesthetic/color schemes are very nice.

I'll be honest, before you, Rin and I agreed on giving the polyship a try, I was a little nervous about it, because...well, I wasn't sure you guys could see it. My Rick has such different relationships with my Rick and Rin's Rick, and the same goes for Fish and the two Rick and Rin's Rick with mine and Fish. They are all good dynamics, so I was kinda of worried that offering a three-way would seem like...idk, minimizing how good each pair is? But eh, you know me, I'm paranoid as fuck x'D

But, well, in any case, I'm really glad you two ended up agreeing with me! Having them in mind as a trio doesn't get in the way of developing each pair individually, but it adds to it, if you ask me. Way more tension (for how things are between the three of them right now) and in the future a chance for the characters to develop and be better through their relationship (watch these three goblins having to learn how to truly communicate because polyamory needs communication).

It's going to be hard, there's gonna be lots of insecurity and jealousy and conflict, but that just makes the building even more delicious.

Okay, but hear me out. Kyson acting as Chrysta’s guard dog for the White Weddjng AU. Basically assigned to the bride to both protect and watch her. Too bad for the boys, wolf boy is a sweetheart and feels bad for her and tries to help her as much as he can. Kinda acting like that one guy in the swan princess like “you should write a book. How to offend women in five syllables or less” and trying to get the boys to see that this is not how to make someone love you lmao

Also, the potential to add a sprinkle of angst with him trying to sacrifice himself and take her place as the “bride to be” so she can be safe and happy. Because Chrysta deserves happiness in this AU

I'm so sorry it took me forever to answer this I just couldn't stop thinking about it!!! 😭 I totally love the idea of Kyson being super protective over Chrysta, following her around and keeping watch if her in the day when the boys sleep- or those nights when he's in his wolf form and she just pets him while watching the stars, feeling comfort and a little less lonely now knowing she has a friend. 🥺

I also adore him taking her place, I could see him pleading with David or the boys and David really does have to fight taking him up on that offer... 👀

What kind of cat do you think they would be if they weren’t an Anthropomorphic cat? (Example: I think Tugger would be a Russet Marble Tabby Maine Coone Cat and Cassandra would be a Dark Mink or Solid Burmese Cat)

Sorry this took so long, just school. I think answering all of these will take a long time lets just be honest. But I'll try to work with these whenever I can. ALSO, there might be spelling and grammar mistakes because english is not my first language.

My thoughts and feelings for the twins were like nonexistent when I first got into cats, but after seeing the international tour in november they just shot right up into my top ten. Espessially Tantomile as she was the green eyes that went by me when the show started and was like 4 meters from me during the naming of cats and Mister Mistoffelees (and I swear we had a special moment during the naming of cats cuz we 100% made eye contact and right after that she reached her paw out, TO ME, but sadly there were two people in our way...)

Eh, so with that being said, here are my headcanons for everyones favorite mystical twins!

Headcanons:

Tantomile and Coricopat share the same spirit so if one of them becomes the Jellicle choice, they are both chosen.

Although the spirit is the same, the cats are not. Coricopat is much more um... dumb. It's not the right word but the only one I can think of. Like he's just.. he's there, having fun. While Tantomile is definitely the older and more mature of the two. Their reactions during the Mistoffelees number is the best explanation I can give. Just look at them.

When it comes to their powers they are both very strong with their psychic energy but again Tantomile is just keeping a little secret about her more cryptic side. The only other cat to know about her other side is of course her other half. They are like ying and yang kinda, but not really. Again, this thing with putting my thought into words. Either way, more on that later.

Random but Coricopat loves butterflies.

Backstory:

Now my usual backstory for these two is that they lived with a real witch and that they found the junkyard and the Jellicles thanks to their powers. Quite simple.

But, today I read through the Cats wiki just for fun and stumbled across the hc that Tantomile and Coricopat are Macavitys children. And I just died right then and there.

Is it in my main headcanons for Cats? No... But it sure as hell has it's own little world in my brain now. Just, stop and think about it for a minute and perhaps join me on the floor while I scream about the potential angst.

Family:

This goes without saying but, they're twins.

While they don't really have a real parents, unless you wanna go the Macavity route, Munkustrap has an extreme soft spot for them. So Munkustrap is their unofficial dad even though they are just a few years younger then him.

Pairings:

*Slams my hands on the table* CORICOPAT AND FRICKING MUNGOJERRIE ARE THE MOST ADORABLE DORKS YOU WILL EVER SEE!!!

Also love the rarepair of Tantomile and Demeter. Them just laying in Demeters pipe cuddling *chef kiss*

Personality:

Coricopat is a dork, an adorable dork, and I love him. He gets easily distracted, especially when Mungojerrie is within his psychic range.

Tantomile has a calm presence, even when some cats gets weirded out by the twins. Something she hides extremely well however is her cryptic side. Let's just say it's very much the opposite of the Tantomile we all know and love.

Plotbunnies:

Oh I loooove this one!

So Macavity is obsessed with magical cats right.. so he kidnaps Coricopat, ya know as you do. The thing is, Tantomile is of course not okay with that.. so um, she ya know. Goes all cryptic and ballistic on Macavitys ass and saves her brother.

Yea, that one has been stuck in my brain for the longest of time and I love it so much.

Food:

Oh uh yeah, they don't eat. Might be a weird hc but it's mine.

Human home:

They primarily live in the junkyard but they do have their little witch hut together with their old little witch lady. It's quite small but it's perfect for the three of them. There is a bunch of pillows and blankest all over the place just for the twins. And there is a lot of purple.

Maybe a mix between Korat, Balinese and Russian Blue.

Work has been so busy recently and I've been heads down working on my latest fic, but the amazing @lilredghost and @dark--whisperings both tagged me in this game!!!

188,000 words!

3. What fandoms do you write for?

My jam these days is Star Wars (Obikin) but previously I was involved in MCU verse (Stony, TaserTricks). I am also eyeing some potential fics in OFMD and Lokius...if I ever get the time lol.

4. What are your top five fics by kudos?

5. Do you respond to comments?

Yes! Comments are my favorite thing and I love reading and responding to them! They're honestly one of the best motivations to keep me writing...I've changed fics mid-plot just because of comments lol.

6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Hmm...probably Lie To Me or While You Were Gone, both Sherlock (Johnlock) fics. Both stories are very dark and gritty, especially WYWG, and I think I might have been going through *some stuff* when I wrote them that influenced how they turned out lol. I absolutely adore WYWG - it's one of my favorite fics that I've written.

For Obikin, the angstiest fic is probably Away From Me (Don't Fall) which is a post-Order 66 fic where Anakin's fall to the Dark Side caused Obi-Wan to fall as well. It's a recent fic and I've got a sequel half-drafted just waiting to be finished. There's a twist at the end that I won't spoil...you'll have to go read it if you want to know what happens 👀

7. What's the fic your write with the happiest ending?

Ohh..that's a tough one! I always strive for happy endings (no pun intended) even in fics that are literally just porn (in which case, pun definitely intended).

I think To Tell The Moon has a very sweet happy ending. It's a same-age AU where Anakin and Obi-Wan are both padawans and end up taking part in winter festivities on a planet during a mission. It's a very wholesome fic all around (though since it's me, there is some angst haha).

The next one would probably be Forget Me Not and A Perfect Distraction, which I linked above, if only because both of them feature Obi-Wan getting what he wants and deserves, which he never does in canon, and I want him to be happy.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Not in a long time, thankfully. When I first started writing fanfic I did get some hate which was very demoralizing but eventually I just decided to tell those people to fuck off very kindly. I've been so lucky to be in fandoms where everyone is pretty accepting and supportive 💕

9. Do you write smut? What kind?

👀😉😎 Check my AO3. There's smut. I'm a big fan of dirty talk and D/s undertones. Obikin delivers plenty of opportunity !

10. Do you write cross-overs?

Not yet! I would love to try one day if the opportunity presented itself.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I know of!

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Not yet, but I would love that if anyone every felt so inclined! Same with podfics.

13. Have you ever cowritten a fic before?

I have not but that would be an interesting experience!

That's such a tough question haha. If I had to choose, I'd pick, in no particular order:

15. What's your WIP you like to finish, but doubt you ever will?

I want to go back and finish A Different Sort of Knife one day. I had such a fantastic time writing Sith Obi-Wan and his catnip Padawan Anakin. I hope that I get the motivation to go back to it.

I just finished a WIP that I had started last year and ended up coming back to it after a hiatus (Forget Me Not), so there is hope!

16. What are your writing strength?

I like to think that I'm good at characterization. It's something I obsess over when I'm writing, to the point that I end up throwing out whole passages if I don't feel like I'm conveying the character correctly. I've been told that my descriptions and metaphors are good, which is lovely to hear ❤

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Probably that it takes me too long to write something haha.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I love reading fics with dialogue in other languages! It adds so much depth to the story and is very immersive.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

MCU (Loki/Darcy Lewis). Back when I thought I was straight, but Tom Hiddleston and Kat Dennings are both babes so I stand by it.

20. Favourite fic you've ever written?

Probably To Tell The Moon or Forget Me Not.
