Bruh apparently there’s been like these unusual cases of kids ages 2-5 getting like this weird ass hepatitis caused by an adenovirus in Europe and at least 4 states in the US, and two of the kids had to have entire liver transplants due to it. I’m just over here like “kids getting a mysterious illness ??? The Darkest Minds??” But obviously I’m just making the loosest connection possible but other than that this shit weird as hell like….no one is for sure why the fuck this is happening cuz none of these kids were immunocompromised

Three weeks ago after his six month recheck on bloods and ultrasound found a very slight improvement in Hannibal’s liver condition but unfortunately found kidney disease. Another consequence of his adenovirus. Three weeks on a medicine help the Uric acid levels and he had a repeat blood test today. His levels are below what they have been before and is now normal “or below normal levels they mostly see” as the vet said today. But as the levels can be normal at 0. He gets to come off that medication for now. He hated it so much. As long as he looks and acts well he’ll have another recheck in 3-6 months so fingers crossed. For now it is really good news. Adenovirus là gì? Là bệnh truyền nhiễm nguy hiểm ở người và động vật gây nhiễm trùng đường hô hấp hoặc viêm niêm mạc mắt, viêm kết mạc, tiêu chảy,... Bài viết dưới đây sẽ đầy đủ thông tin giúp người dân chủ động phòng ngừa và phát hiện sớm để điều trị kịp thời.

Adenovirus gây ra bệnh gì, triệu chứng như thế nào?  

Ai cũng có nguy cơ mắc bệnh do virus này gây ra, trong đó đối tượng trẻ em và người già có nguy cơ cao hơn. Khi nhiễm virus Adeno, người bệnh có nguy cơ mắc bệnh với các biểu hiện khác nhau: 

Viêm họng cấp: Thường gặp ở trẻ sơ sinh và trẻ nhỏ với các biểu hiện sốt, sưng họng, ho và chảy nước mũi. 

Viêm họng kết mạc: Có triệu chứng giống viêm họng nhưng kèm thêm viêm kết mạc thành dịch ở người trẻ tuổi và trẻ em. Bệnh lây qua đường hô hấp và tiếp xúc trực tiếp. 

Viêm cấp tính đường hô hấp: Biểu hiện bằng viêm họng, sốt, ho. Bệnh diễn biến cấp tính, khỏi nhanh sau 3 - 4 ngày, chủ yếu ở trẻ nhỏ. 

Nguyên nhân gây viêm kết mạc là do Adenovirus

Viêm phổi: Chủ yếu người mắc bị nhiễm type 3 và 7, chiếm tỷ lệ 10% viêm phổi cấp ở trẻ nhỏ. Viêm phổi do Adenovirus có tỷ lệ tử vong 8- 10%. 

Viêm kết mạc mắt (bệnh đau mắt đỏ thành dịch): Bệnh dễ dàng phát triển thành dịch biểu hiện viêm cấp tính kết giác mạc, dễ bị bội nhiễm nếu không can thiệp kịp thời.

Bệnh viêm dạ dày - ruột: Biểu hiện viêm dạ dày và ruột cấp tính, virus được đào thải trong phân và là nguồn lây chủ yếu. 

Các triệu chứng cụ thể cần chú ý như ở đường tiêu hóa (như tiêu chảy, chán ăn, buồn nôn), sốt, đau vùng gan, vàng da, có đốm xuất huyết nhỏ.

Phòng bệnh liên quan đến virus Adeno bằng cách nào? 

Hiện nay, chưa có thuốc điều trị. Do đó, để hạn chế tình trạng của dịch bệnh, mỗi người dân nên chủ động có các phương pháp phòng bệnh cho người thân, cụ thể như sau:
