So we’ve all heard the theory that ghosts speak through their cores?

What if it sounded like intricate whale song?

Pushing it even farther, ghosts rarely leave their own haunts, so they communicate primarily via long distance ‘song’.

Bruce Wayne has been trying to track the signal of the new sound bouncing back and forth from somewhere in the midwest that only his new satellite transmitter is picking up. The league would appreciate him tracking down the information on what seems to be a new alien species. Unfortunately, both Jason and Damian hear something completely different from the original recording. Looks like a small town called ‘Amity’ is going to need a visit.

Twisted wonderland ghost prince au!

So, i was board and wanted to write something to deal with it <3

i do not own twisted wonderland this is just an au.

so, this au starts with Yuu running from God knows what and are backed into a corner with a mirror in that corner but right as they hit the wall with the mirror they fall into the mirror. they wake up in front of a mirror similar the one they fell into; they see a figure (They don't know it yet but its ortho) They run to the figure to ask where they were but as they got closer, they realized that wasn't a person, it was a ***Ghost***.

so, the seven house wardens are all princes and all dead, and to finally move on to the afterlife they have to find a princess/prince bride/husband (similar to the ghost bride event) but they can't take a living spouse to the afterlife, can they? So, they do something I call taking the dive (like when u pick your first goober) were like in corpse bride the living spouse kills themself to be with the already dead spouse, but each prince has a different way of killing the living spouse.

Riddle: off with your head obviously, you don't need you head if your dead anyway

Leona: unsure, maybe falling off a high space or something.

Azul: you're going to drown, that sounds super painful.

Kalim: maybe quicksand but I'm still unsure.

Vil: poison, depending on what kind your death will either be painless or hella painful.

Idia: ok so I was thinking like you put one of your hairs on this thing and when u cut it (by it i mean the strand of hair) u die. Like in the actual movie!

Malleus:(The one i would go with) You prick your finger on the spinning wheel, and it has like a painless poison, and it just feels like your falling asleep(forever)

Marc x Steven Headcanon

Before going to bed each night, Steven would read to Marc. They had a nice full size mirror installed next to the bed, that way Marc could lay down beside Steven in the bed's reflection.

Marc would always listen intenly as the story was brought to life by Steven's way of story telling. As time would pass, the softness of Steven's voice would lure Marc to sleep. He would fight against it's pull for as long as he could. He never wanted these moments with Steven to end. Ultimately however Steven would feel the tiredness washing over Marc and would gently coax him into sleeping.

A soft "I love you" would leave Marc's lips before he fell soundly to sleep. Steven would always smile brightly at the words and whisper a "Love you too" in return.

okay quick meta while theyre live time.

so ceryn said that hes been ignored a lot and his rationalizing of that is "everyones so upset and i cant fix it" and caimsey responds with "its not your job to fix it" also after talking about how he has a cane now due to being pushed off the bridge by ctubbo. it sort of shows me how they both try to rationalize coming to this server whose inhabitants is so deeply traumatized.

Like ceryn came to this server wanting friends, specifically to rekindle with ctommy. ceryn also canonically can hear the screams of death which is very loud near ctommy's house and lmanberg crater. ceryn is being ignored yes he's walked into this world where people dont trust, are scared, and to a friend (ctommy) who is so deeply different due to exile and in constant danger from cdream and his brother figure has come back to life and they are working through a lot. ceryn feels like as a result he has to fix that. that he knows people are hurting and so he must fix it to have friends, at least thats what he thinks.

caimsey has lost a canon life and faced similar things to ceryn in this regard, like with ghostboo too. but caimsey has taken the route of "its not my job to fix it" a la her forgiving ctubbo for what he did to her.

Dwelling in the Apocalypse

Okay so what I write for this title is Palps would be revealed as a Sith and instead of having the Republic be turned into his Empire, since the Jedi are still alive and there are no chips, he instead runs away and causes destruction where he can

The Jedi search for him and their leads are with planets being completely destroyed, either becoming desolate due to Palps’ magic of destroying the food or climate or being turned to ash

So most people know it’s inevitable and they don’t know when he’ll strike next - the pattern to inconsistent to catch and there is no place safe

For everyone, it’s kind of become an apocalypse because for Coruscant he brought the monsters up from the lower levels to the upper levels; for Tatooine, he messed with the climate to where it’s consistent sand storms that have left families starving cause they can’t go outside to get water or food; Naboo becoming desolate when farms and crops were targeted and the water poisoned; etc.

Before Palps left though, he took Fox with him. So Fox is watching this all go down, maybe even some planets being destroyed as punishment for not obeying Sidious’ orders or failing certain tests.

Everyone thinks Fox died on Coruscant though or on duty, so no one is looking for him so it’s easier for Palps to hide his trail when he has Fox to help cover his tracks and make a new trail for the Jedi to follow

Fox becoming so used to punishments that include electricity that he becomes more reliant on Palps so when Palps leaves the room, Fox doesn’t even try to escape anymore (like the test scientists did before where a dog was basically shocked for so long and when they finally opened the cage, the dog become so used to it that it wouldn’t leave the cage)

The start of this fic would go like this: Fox is out making a new trail when he runs into Quinlan who doesn’t know it’s him but knows he’s a clone and takes him. Cue Palps searching for Fox while Quinlan has Fox help him find Sidious. All the while, Fox didn’t meet Vos before so he doesn’t know Vos is a Jedi (and Vos doesn’t tell him) so he’s running from Palps and the Jedi which is like…it’s a bunch of circles is what all of them are doing

But yea, that’s what I got for this title

After Smallvile High, Kon went to cosmetology school.

5% so that he could get a skilled job sooner than — oh god 4 more years of this torture called school. Despite having superpowers he really doubted he would survive that.

15% so that he could show Ma and Pa that he was becoming a responsible adult and planning for his future, ready to jump into the work force.

8% because it was fun, talking to people all day, playing with colors and such.

71% to meet girls.

And 1% to meet guys.

Tim

Tim is an aspiring photographer (currently a photography assistant) at a magazine Kon ends up doing freelance work for.

Jack Drake is an electrician. Excellent at his job when he can make it in, but that's less and less frequently these days.

Fixing things really was his passion regardless whether or not he could manage the proffessional parts. Tim has happy little kid memories of following his dad as he worked on their own home; behind appliances, under floorboards, into crawlspaces. "Backstage" Jannet calls it.

The practical skills Tim learned set him up well to assist on photoshoots. He knew when to handle equipment delicatley and when it really was just time to start breaking things. He knew how to fix them too, with a speed and subtlty that meant it was rarely noticed.

His reputation is less of a skilled tech, and more of a vague 'luckiness' that the crew would have if he was there. Tim's not sure if he should feel grateful for this, but he is. His invisibility is probably not good for a career, the ability to support himself, to help out his parents… but being noticed feels like a weight.

Janet spent her career in retail. Tim saw her cycle through every possible position, methodically mastering each one. As a kid he'd sit quietly behind the counter. This was definitely against the rules, but Janet had terrifying skill when it came to charming and creative bribing. He grew up, mind humming at all the beautiful fabrics and complexities of trends.

So he has reasons for being where he is. He wants to be here, among the deadlines, and frustration, and all the shrill humanity. That's what it takes to be around the art, the process of creation, the bits of life that light up his neurons like a Christmas tree.

It's not something he can really put into words though.
