after all these years, i want to be excited for the bad batch but.

coming back to the series after 4-5 years and realizing just how bad the whitewashing is on top of the bad writing, my trust has been completely eroded in the team’s ability to make a satisfactory end to the series

#personal #they didnt even try to pretend they were trying to make the clones look anything like temuera morrison #the politics and moral messages are also just... bad #like i genuinely cannot tell if i’m supposed to root for a character or take them as intentional commentary on an issue #like satine. and bo katan. like i know bo katans whole thing was her ‘change of heart’ after maul took over but #even then her reasons were based on a selfish bias and misunderstanding of mandalore rather than #actually recognizing that maul would bring mandalore to ruin #‘an outsider will never rule mandalore’ yeah well maul beat pre in honorable single combat and won thats how it works #death watch claims to follow the old ways and bo katan should know that that’s how leadership is traditionally passed over #her whole thing is ‘i honor the old traditions and think they’re The Right Way except for the parts i disagree with’ #she only went back to help satine because she would rather have her rule mandalore than ‘an outsider’
