I literally do not care what the Bible says about any political issue. I am not Christian. Christian scripture should have zero effect on my life or my personal freedoms.

"France became the first country in the world to make abortion a constitutional right Monday [March 4, 2024], with French lawmakers adopting the bill in a 780-72 vote in a move inspired by the U.S. reversal of Roe vs. Wade.
The law gives women a "guaranteed freedom" to choose for themselves if an abortion is the right choice to make.
The amendment won the support of the three-fifths of the 925 National Assembly and Senate members required to pass in an extraordinary afternoon session at the Palace of Versailles just outside Paris in a move that was overwhelmingly supported by the public.
Prime Minister Gabriel Attal said to those assembled in Congress Hall that "we owe a moral debt" to the women who had to suffer through illegal abortions in the past.
After the vote to approve the constitutional change, Paris' Eiffel Tower was lit with the words in French "my body my choice" in the country where abortion was first legalized in 1975, two years after the United States' first ruling on Roe vs. Wade...
While limiting abortion ranked very low on France's political agenda, lawmakers were prompted to take action to protect abortion rights in 2022 following the U.S. Supreme Court's overturning of the 1973 Roe ruling that legalized abortion. Subsequently, several American states have passed laws to restrict or outlaw the procedure.
"I say to all women within our borders and beyond, that today, the era of a world of hope begins," said Attal, who at 34 became the country's youngest prime minister.
This was the first time since 2008 that France took steps to change its constitution. There will be a ceremony to finalize the amendment on Friday [March 8, 2024], which is also International Women's Day."

Note: It may be the first, but I am confident that it will not be the last!

So American judges give life sentences to women for miscarrying and aborting but contend themselves with a slap on the wrist for males who murder their future children and risk their wives' lives??

Instead of forcing women to go through extreme physical, psychological, hormonal, societal & economical changes against their will, start …
1.) holding men accountable for causing unwanted pregnancies.
2.) creating a better society which doesn’t systematically disadvantage and harm pregnant women & mothers.
3.) creating a society in which pregnant women‘s & mothers financial independence, careers and freedom aren’t limited.
4.) improving the medical system and the knowledge of women‘s anatomy & specific medical needs so every woman has access to the best treatment possible.
5.) eliminating medical abuse and medical neglect.
6.) funding EVERY treatment/support a pregnant woman and mother might need or want to feel as good & healthy as possible (recovery MUST be a priority).
7.) challenging societal expectations and judgement regarding pregnancy, mothers and motherhood.
8.) providing actually informative and female-centered sex ED.
9.) providing free & accessible birth control.
10.) and if you‘re really THAT ignorant and "pro-life", start making vasectomies mandatory.

My husband [ 26m] took out my IUD last night,
TW: ABUSIVE MARRIAGE , REPRODUCTIVE COERCION , PHYSICAL AND SEXUAL ASSAULT
So this will sound crazy , and I guess it kind of is .
I am 23F and have been married to my husband for 2 years .we have a 1.5 year old daughter . I love him so much and he is a great father . He I told him I wasn't sure when I'd feel ready flr another kid since I just got off maternity leave a year ago and am working full time .
In the past few months after our daughter turned 1 , he's been really vocal about his wish for another kid . we usually use the pull out method , but it got to the point where I didn't even trust him to pull out ( this was how our daughter was conceived actually ) . so last month I secretly booked an appointment with my doctor and he gave me an IUD despite my aversion to getting hormones .
My husband does not know about my IUD . He has not been pulling out very often which makes me glad I got the IUD . however , yesterday , he found out because he caught me reading about it on the Internet . He got angry at me for hiding it from him and when we were about to have sex that night , reached in there and tried to get it out , which hurt like hell . I was panicking and hitting him and yelling for him to stop , but he ignored me and managed to pull it out . he then threw it in the trash and told me that "those things" are not good for my body anyways .
I'm so shaken . I'm normally a very calm and tough person but he really scared me. He apologized to me this morning and said he was just angry for not telling him about the IUD and getting it done behind his back .
What should I do ? I feel violated . My husband has always been rather pushy and mad when he doesn't get his way , but he's never gone this far.

This past Saturday marked one year since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. Find out from the Guttmacher Institute where abortion laws currently stand in every U.S. state 👇.

i just wanted to say this, to anyone in the united states that follows me, i’m so fucking sorry.
abortion is healthcare, healthcare is a human right.
a fetus has no right to be in YOUR body for months without permission, to use your organs.
if there was any sense in that bloody supreme court, they would acknowledge your right to remove that fetus from your body.
also, if anyone here supports the overturning of roe v wade, get fucked. you’re not welcome on my account and you never will be.
*edit* pro lifers, when i said you’re not welcome here, i meant it. do not interact with this or any other of my posts. fuck. off.

You know what, I’m getting real tired of calling people Pro-Life when they are really just Anti-Abortion and do exactly nothing to save or even just marginally improve the quality of the lives of any actual human person who has been born - including the same infants and children who were once the fetuses they were so concerned with saving.
Edit: I am not saying that every pro-life individual or organization does nothing to help and/or save the lives of born people (often specifically focusing on infants/children and their parents/caretakers, especially those who might otherwise have been aborted/got an abortion). Nor am I saying that every pro-choice individual or organization is out there giving their all to help/save lives and support infants/children and their parents/caretakers. This post specifically calls out pro-lifers who aim to stop other people from getting abortions without taking any other sort of “pro-life” action to help or save any life that isn’t a fetus, embryo, or blastocyst.
If your pro-life agenda is to help and provide support for infants/children and their parents/caretakers, then I am in full support. If your pro-life agenda is to help and provide support for infants/children and their parents/caretakers and stop people from being able to get abortions under whatever circumstances you don’t agree with, then I am in support of the former but not the later. If your pro-life agenda is to stop people from being able to get abortions under any circumstance you don’t personally agree with - then I am in full opposition.
Thanks to everyone who shared their own thoughts in the comments. One of the reasons I post is to get feedback and learn new insights/information. However, I now ask that you please do not respond if you only mean to spew rhetoric and/or insults at me.
