Donghun:

Your eyes lit up as you noticed your phone buzzing beside you, answering the call as soon as you noticed Donghun’s name on the screen.

“What are your plans today?” He asked you as soon as you greeted him, glancing up at your apartment from the bottom of the block. “Are you still at home or are you out somewhere?”

“I’m at home,” you responded suspiciously, “how come you’re so interested in my plans?”

Donghun laughed to himself before replying to you, “if you’re at home then walk towards the kitchen window. When you’re there, I want you to look down.”

“What are you up to?” You sighed, following Donghun’s instructions as you walked towards the window before looking down, noticing someone staring up.

“Are you looking down? Can you see anything there?”

Your head shook in disbelief, “I guess you’re stood outside my apartment block to give me some plans for my day after all.”

“I can go back to base if you want me to,” Donghun teased.

“No way, I’m on my way down now.”

Wow:

It felt deflating for you as you arrived home, watching the last few hours of your birthday pass by as the night quickly began to draw in.

“Have you had a good day?” A voice asked you as you walked towards the window of your apartment to look out of the window, spotting a few individuals who walked around the streets.

“Hm,” you murmured, confused as to what was going on as you heard a voice around you.

Sehyoon chuckled as he watched your eyes flicker up before looking back out of the window. “Y/N,” he called out to you, watching the confusion on your face.

“W-who? What?” You quizzed, following the sound of the voice to see Sehyoon looking back at you with a wide smile on his face, his eyes following you as you moved.

“You didn’t think that I’d miss your birthday, did you?”

It took a moment for it to sink in for you that Sehyoon was looking back at you. “You’re not supposed to be here, you’re busy.”

“You just think I’m not supposed to be,” Sehyoon laughed.

“This is the best birthday gift ever.”

Jun:

You tried your best to ignore the hand that tapped on your shoulder as you listened to your friend, getting more and more frustrated with them.

“I think someone wants your attention,” one of your friends told you. You were unaware of who was behind you, assuming that just like usual it would be one of Junhee’s fans wanting you.

“I’m trying to…oh,” you trailed off as you turned around and saw who was wanting you.

You had never seen Junhee’s smile so wide as he watched you stand up from where you were sat. “Sorry to interrupt, but I thought there’d be room for one more.”

“You’re supposed to be with your mates on your day off,” you sighed, shaking your head back across to Junhee. “You’re not supposed to be here, what are you doing here?”

“I could be with my mates, or be with my best mate.”

You were flustered as Junhee walked towards you and pulled you into his side. “Has the military suddenly made you soppy now?”

“No, I’ve just missed you a lot,” Junhee quickly confessed.

“I’ve missed you so much more, Junhee.”

Byeongkwan:

A sharp intake of breath came from you as you walked through the front door and saw a familiar face stretched out across the length of your sofa.

“Welcome home,” Byeongkwan chuckled as he watched your expression turn up in surprise, blinking several times to make sure that you were really seeing what you thought you were seeing.

“What are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be busy?” You questioned, stuttering.

Byeongkwan nodded as he stood up and opened his arms out to you. “I’ve got a day off so I thought where would I like to go to spend my day? Here, of course.”

“You didn’t even tell me that you were coming,” you scolded, hitting your hand against Byeongkwan’s arm. “You could’ve messaged, the whole place is a mess right now Kwan.”

“I don’t care, I’m just happy that I’m here with you.”

You finally walked into Byeongkwan’s open arms and rested against his chest. “You might have to pinch me for a little while you know.”

“How about I just keep talking to you instead?” He jokingly offered.

“That definitely works well for me too.”

Chan:

Your smile was faint as you opened the door to your apartment to see Yuchan staring back at you, letting go of a chuckle as you stepped aside.

“I’m so bored,” Yuchan explained to you as you silently invited him into your apartment. “I keep going to call out to one of the boys in the dorm and then I remember they’re not here.”

“I keep telling you that you can move in here,” you reminded Yuchan, offering him a chuckle.

He hummed as he passed you by, kicking his shoes off. “I know, but I feel bad. It’s like you’re inviting me to stay because you feel sorry for me being all by myself.”

“I’m offering because I want you here,” you corrected Yuchan as you closed the door, “I’d never say it to just feel sorry for you, I’m trying to give you a way out of feeling bored.”

“Would you really be happy to have me here with you?”

You couldn’t help but nudge Yuchan as he passed you by, “I wouldn’t ask you idiot if I wasn’t happy about the thought of you being here.”

“Hey, who are you calling an idiot?” Yuchan smirked as he met your eyes.

“You, stop fretting so much around me.”

Called you from the airport to let you know what time he'd be back home. Exhausted but willing to do anything you want just to repay for the time off. Bought post cards everywhere they went and wrote you a letter in each of them, blushes when he ask you to read them until you're alone. Avoids talking about the tour for a while, work is done and now he's all focused on you.

Jun

Casually shows up at your place one day, you had no idea when his vacations started so of course you complain he didn't tell you by advance. Smiles but also tears up a little because he was missing you bad. Talks so much about every single person at the camp that you may feel like you already know them. Truth is he made plans for enjoying all his vacations with you.

Byeongkwan

Texted you right after stepping out of the camp "Are you free tonight?" Warned you in advance he's tired so you accept to stay at home and cuddle watching movies. Doesn't talk much about whatever he had gone through all this time, either made a lot of questions to you, feels more like he's trying to pretend everything remains the same than before he left.

Chan

He sounded so happy when he called you that morning to tell you he finally had his week off you freaked out after seeing how exhausted he looks. Insists everything is just fine and he's having fun at the camp but still prefers not talking much about it. A lot of hugs and kisses on the forehead before falling asleep on your shoulder. Visibly bothered for wasting his time with you sleeping.

Prompt: The care package was nothing more than a half-eaten muffin, a cracked Beyonce CD case with no CD, and a note that read, “I tried, then I realized I was hungry, bored, and didn’t really care that much.”

Really, you shouldn’t have expected much from Byeongkwan. It was a miracle you’d even gotten anything from him in the first place. Without disturbing the contents, you snapped photos of the supposed “care package” and note then added them to the group chat without a comment. They spoke volumes.

It took mere minutes for the chat to explode with messages, and a quick glance confirmed the brotherhood had turned on one of their own. To be fair, you regularly fed them and hosted their parties from time to time. You’d earned the right to a little pettiness.

About an hour later, there was a knock at the door. You knew who it was just by the force of the pounding. When you opened the door, Byeongkwan was there holding a bag of your favorite takeout, drinks, and flowers. “Well, look at you.”

“I’ve been instructed to kiss butt and enslave myself for the evening.” He said dryly. You cackled and stepped aside, welcoming him in.

“Serves you right. Can’t believe you had the balls to do that.” You closed and locked the door behind him, then led the way to the kitchen. “Where’d you even find the CD case?”

“Leftover from my high school step team days. I swore the CD was in it.” He set his apology goodies on the counter and began to unpack. “Alrighty, Miss Snitch. You eat,” he glanced at the kitchen sink, “while I get started on chores, I guess.”

“That’s very kind of you.” You batted your eyelashes at him before unwrapping a straw to attack your drink. “I also forgot to unload the dishwasher.”

“This is gonna be a long evening, isn’t it?”

“You know it.”

When Sehyoon and Y/n got back home, Y/n's friend Vicky was on the couch in the living room so she joined her. They were watching some videos then Y/n went to change her clothes and layed down on the bed a bit to take a rest for a couple of minutes from being overjoyed. She also called Vicky to tell her what happened and she was super thrilled to hear that Y/n had a good time with Sehyoon, but also told her that it is still early to assume anything. Vicky started watching some busking videos and Y/n was just laying there on the bed looking at the ceiling but overrhinking about everything.. When suddenly Vicky started tapping her and calling her name:" Y/n, Y'n aren't these the guys that are currently downstairs?" She has found an MV which said A.C.E Cactus, then watched another called Under Cover, and so on they kept watching and watching... Then Vicky stopped the videos and turned off the phone to look at Y/n.. They were both stunned and speachless because they only said they were dancers but now they just found out they are actual idol celebrities which are still not enough well known, but have really good quality of vocals, rap, dance, charm... They suddenly both started talking to each other:" Are you thinking what I am thinking? "Yes definitely!" They both started screaming at the same time from too much excitement! Suddenly the door slammed open and Chan was there and they both stopped and just looked at him with big eyes weirdly.. He asked if they are okay and they both just nodded and he let it go and got out. They continued silently screaming and hugging each other till there was no room for air... When dinner was ready they came downstairs to eat, but discussed from before how can they ask them, so they would do it discreetly as to not disturb them a lot. Vicky turned on the first video they found and started asking them one by one:" Hey isn't this you here on this video Chan?..Oh wait Jun this is you right? Well you look better here haha.." She was trying to make light jokes but started feeling uneasy so she just stopped and then Y/n stepped in and asked:" Are you really the guys from the videos we just watched and showed to you?" Everyone was just silent and serious, then Jun cleared his throat and started explaining:" Yes, we are A.C.E (2,3 Set To Be A Hero A.C.E they did their introduction in front of them) an idol group who is debuted but hasn't really achieved enough popularity yet, but we are super grateful for each and every fan of ours who gives us any kind of support, also we did not want to tell you as you know there are lots of rules, and plus we do not know you well enough yet you might be very surprised, or rude, or try to attack or steal from us etc... Also we did not want to shock you after everything so we all agreed to tell you later on after we spent more time with you but you already found out so yeah, what do you think?" Y/n and Vicky just sat there shocked, but collected themselves and praised them with great manners, but with slight panicking which was totally understandable because it was a lot to take in.

You were never rude to one another, but you also weren’t afraid to tease one another and throw in a few imitations too to really make sure that you got your points across.

C ⇴ COMFORT

The only focus that Byeongkwan had when you were down was picking your mood back up again. He would try his best to cheer you up, doing whatever it took in order to put the smile back on your face. Byeongkwan didn’t care about how much time it took either, he’d stay with you all night long if he had to.

D ⇴ DISAGREEMENTS

At times Byeongkwan can be a little bit strong with what he wants to do and his opinions that can lead to a bit of a disagreement between the two of you. When he gets stubborn and adamant with you it forces you to do the same, especially when what he’s saying is something that you really don’t agree with. After a bit of time to relax and calm down though, the two of you soon forget about what went on.

E ⇴ EARLY YEARS

Neither of you could really remember the start of your friendship because you met at such a young age. You remembered getting along pretty much from the start, but aside from that you were both pretty clueless. The one thing that the two of you did have was several school reports that remarked how often the two of you would sit together and cause mischief in the classroom, much to your teacher’s disapproval.

F ⇴ FAMILY

Byeongkwan’s family treated you often as if you were a part of the family, always looking out for you. If they sent things for Byeongkwan, you could guarantee that something would be thrown in for you too, they loved to spoil you just like they spoiled Byeongkwan. Even when they called him, they’d talk about what he was doing for a little while before asking him exactly what you were up to as well.

G ⇴ GETTING TOGETHER

One of the things that Byeongkwan always tried to get you to do with him when you hung out was play games. Even if you had no idea what you were really doing, Byeongkwan would offer to show you the ropes and talk you through everything that you needed to do so that you could keep him company as he gamed.

H ⇴ HABITS

The two of you had a habit of winding each other up, you took a great deal of satisfaction from getting underneath each other’s skins. You loved to annoy one another, that was one of the main things that your friendship was built on, the constant need to tease and mock one another to make yourselves laugh.

I ⇴ INSIDE JOKES

With someone as funny as Byeongkwan with you, inside jokes were inevitable. He constantly left you in hysterics, with your sides usually hurting too, and they were the jokes that you tried your best to remember, knowing especially that you would never tire of thinking about them and how they made you feel.

He tried his best not to get jealous. Byeongkwan never felt particularly threatened as your best friend, but from time to time he liked to think of himself as concerned. He knew after so many years as your best friend the sort of people who were good for you, and if he felt that someone wasn’t the kind of person that you should be dealing with then Byeongkwan definitely didn’t shy away from letting you know that.

K ⇴ KICKS

Byeongkwan got a kick out of being able to tell you a funny joke, especially when he could tell that you were trying not to laugh. You loved to try and pretend that you didn’t find him funny, but that would just encourage Byeongkwan to make you laugh, which was something that he succeeded at all the time too.

L ⇴ LOVE

He loved how well you knew him, even if it scared him sometimes just how well you got him. You knew exactly what Byeongkwan’s favourite things were and exactly what he needed someone to do when he needed cheering up, qualities that spooked him a lot. He never imagined somebody would get him as well as you did, but after so many years and so much paying attention, you learnt plenty about him.

M ⇴ MEETING

The two of you first met as kids when you were in the same class together, you found yourselves gravitating towards one another quite early on in your lessons. As Byeongkwan became quite the class clown, you found yourself feeling pretty smug that you were able to call yourself his best friend.

N ⇴ NONSENSE

Most people see Byeongkwan without a care in the world anyway, but that tiny bit that he holds back as an idol will pretty much always come out when he’s with you, there’s no walls up in your company.

O ⇴ OBSESSION

Byeongkwan was obsessed with your personality and how well the two of you got along. Having a best friend who he’s compatible with has always been something that he wanted, and you definitely did that.

P ⇴ PRECIOUS MOMENTS

His highlights usually include being able to make you laugh, Byeongkwan is at his happiest when he knows that he’s the reason for your smile. He doesn’t care how silly he needs to be to try and get some sort of reaction out of you, Byeongkwan will be funny until he’s able to see you cracking at least a smile.

Turning to you for advice is something that Byeongkwan does often, there aren’t always too many people around him that he trusts to be able to help him out, but you are definitely someone who he counts on.

R ⇴ RANDOM FACTS

He loved to joke with you that you were stuck with him for life as a third wheel as he didn’t see himself marrying. If you were in a relationship, then Byeongkwan would absolutely be a part of that as he didn’t find himself wanting a wife so instead, he relied on his best friend, no matter if you were single or not.

S ⇴ SUPPORT

The other members loved to tease Byeongkwan for how much he relied on your support. He liked to act as if he could stand alone and didn’t need anyone in his corner to pick him up, but deep down Byeongkwan absolutely relied on you. Before a show he would always wait nervously for your text so that he could get your support.

Whenever the group were going somewhere, Byeongkwan tried his best to wangle an invite for you too. He loved having you there, most of all because he loved being able to show you a new place in the world.

He loved being around you, he felt incredibly lucky more than anything else that he had a best friend like you in his life with him.

Surprising you was definitely one of Byeongkwan’s favourite things to do, especially when you least expected it. He loved to stop by at your workplace or show up at your apartment at a random time of the day.

There were definitely moments when Byeongkwan could be serious, and when he gave you advice was when he proved that to you.

The two of you were pretty affectionate around one another, you didn’t care about embarrassing yourselves or what you looked like to other people as most of the time you were lost in your own little worlds.
