Trying out to write about my spidersona and Miguel O’Hara headcanons and some little story.

It’s well known that Miguel and Eve are the best duo in the HQ, both of them always work well together when it comes to capturing anomalies.

They are also the duo who wants to protect Jess because she's pregnant. The reason why this small action was called is because Miguel with Gabi (Ya know the story), Miguel doesn’t wish to see Jess end up like him so he would secretly look after Jess despite knowing Jess is actually fine with all the crime and anomaly fighting. As for Eve, she worked at F.E.A.S.T before, and sometimes there will be some pregnant woman came to seek help, she learned a lot about the struggle of pregnant and the joy of it, which leads to that Eve wanted to look after Jess, to just lessen her from experiencing the struggle of pregnancy and had more joy about it, something like that. It was Eve who came up with the idea. In the first few weeks in the society, Eve noticed that Jess would mostly capture anomalies with Miguel which made them the partner back then. Before Eve appeared, Miguel had been finding a way until Eve appeared with the idea of ‘protecting Jess and her baby’ plan.

Jess doesn’t really bother about it, she just thinks that she could slack off while she can but also train the newcomers as well.

After every SpiderMan and SpiderWoman went back to their universe, before Gwen was recruited, Eve and Miguel would have dinner together with each other every night, no matter how busy they are. Both of them struggle with eating disorders and they know both of them care for each other a lot so they come up with an idea of every dinner, they would eat with each other no matter what happens, at the end of the day they would at least eat a meal together. Sometimes they would have breakfast together, Miguel is mostly the one who brought breakfast unless he insisted Eve to help him buy breakfast.

After Gwen was recruited, Eve would ask Gwen to join them as well if she wasn’t crashing at Hobie’s. Speaking of crashing at Hobie’s, Eve would too, if she feels like singing. Before Eve departs, Miguel and Eve will have dinner first, just to make Miguel eat because she knows even if Miguel doesn’t know Eve didn’t eat, Hobie would force her to and she just wanted to make sure Miguel eats.

Eve and Miguel are legal to drink so they would actually have a night every three months just to get drunk. It sounds kinda irresponsible for being Spiderman and Spiderwoman but hey, they are adults, and they just wanted to relax.

Since at night they are the only ones at the HQ, Eve and Miguel would have some nights that have nightmares or are unable to fall asleep.

Eve would always find Miguel in his office when she had a nightmare or was unable to sleep. At start Miguel would be confused about why Eve is awake at 2am, once he knows why he just stops asking questions. Eve would sit on Miguel’s chair that he hardly sits on, and watch Miguel work and slowly fall asleep. Once Miguel is done with his work, he always finds Eve asleep on his chair, he then carries her to his room because it’s the closest and he doesn’t want to wake Eve up by walking too much. He would let Eve take his bed and he himself fell asleep on the couch. When Miguel woke up, he would find himself on his bed and Eve on the couch, because he doesn’t have the spidey sense and he’s completely relaxed by knowing Eve won’t hurt him, he didn’t even know he was moved to his bed.

It happens a lot of times and Eve did tell Miguel about how she doesn’t want to sleep on Miguel’s bed because then he gotta sleep on the couch, so due to that, there’s now an extra bed in Miguel’s room.

Miguel mostly just keep himself in the office whenever he can’t sleep, because of how Eve mostly would be in the office with him most of the time, he felt extra lonely without her being there with him so he would just called Eve and ask her to come to the office and hang out with him, even it’s like 3am and Eve won’t complain about it at all and still show up in the office after five minutes since Miguel called.

I dare to say, they are like the slow burn romance couple.

They would really be like best friends but at the same time have ‘more than best friend’ feelings for each other but they don’t know it’s that kind of feeling, they just keep lying to themselves about it’s just what best friends would do, because Miguel thinks he should just focus on keeping the spider verse intact while Eve is just doing her job as CloakWidow to help Miguel.

If they ever wanted to date each other, I think it would take up years to finally admit the feelings they had for each other.

“Miggy.” “Mig.”

Yeah I know this is the nickname for Miguel but he loves it so much when Eve calls him that, though he would act like he hated it and whenever Eve calls him that, he would have his full focus on Eve.

“Evie.” “Evelyn”

That’s the nickname Miguel would call Eve just to annoy Eve and watch her face grow red and gently hitting him after. Eve actually likes it as well, because she would think it’s something special Miguel has given to her since she hardly got any nicknames, so it’s a whole different experience for her. (Evelyn is not really her name but it just gives her the vibe of like Miguel being serious with her)

Miguel never missed a show from Eve at Hobie’s dimension, he basically just miggle with the crowd without letting Eve know he’s here.

When Eve and Hobie were hanging out and Miguel appeared, Hobie would literally just try to get Eve and Miguel close to each other. Like Hobie would be the biggest shipper of Eve and Miguel like how he thinks of Gwen and Miles as well.

They love to bet, like they bet a lot. Out of seven days, there’s at least four days they are betting on something very stupid.

Like the Mayday bet, because Eve knows Miguel secretly loves Mayday, he acts like he hates it because of Peter B.

Most of the time when they bet, they are actually just looking for each other's attention.

Miguel is clumsy sometimes when it comes to Eve’s stuff because Eve would as well forgot she left the item there, like Eve would left her favorite cup on Miguel’s table and he’s not used to have items on his table much so he would just carelessly rest his body against the table to knock off Eve’s cup. When Eve found out her cup was broken, she would use her web to cage up Miguel, even if Miguel told her it’s her fault to leave her cup there.

There’s this one time when Eve walked around the HQ in her normal clothes instead of her suit, she decided to annoy Miguel like always until Miguel accidently ripped her clothes when he’s trying to catch Eve.

Miguel being the one who keeps accidentally breaking stuff because he would sometimes forget to control his strength when he’s with Eve because he always ended up in relaxed mode with Eve.

Miguel would always return wounded when he went on a mission without Eve, sometimes he would lie to Eve just to make her not worry about him, even if he tried to hide it, Eve always finds out because Miguel would move differently than usual, even the way he talks as well.

Eve would scold Miguel for not letting her follow him to capture the anomaly.

The reason Miguel doesn’t want Eve to go with him for the dangerous missions is because once Eve got badly wounded, there won’t be much help for her because her universe is gone, so if she gets hurt, she will die due to losing too much blood.

“I know that too, but that doesn’t mean you get to keep me away from it.”

On the other hand, Eve just fears that she’ll lose Miguel before she knows it, as well she just wanted to protect Miguel as well instead of him protecting her all the time.
