#cause apparently there's this interview where someone who worked on it i think? #said she didn't go super saiyan cause the doll episode set her up as being a damsel in distress but like #it didn't have to be that way????? #like. a character can have an episode where they get into trouble and need to be saved or whatever #but then you can like?? have them get stronger??? or put them in a situation where they're like #'oh nobody's coming to save me this time/help isn't going to come soon enough; i have to save myself' #and then bam you get an episode where there's like. growth or whatever #and after that they start to participate more and more in the fights in the series and need less saving #and hey; maybe they can even defeat the big bad at the end #and besides that she stopped a bunch of guys with guns from robbing a bank in the first episode i think?? #so like. they could've at least TRIED y'know? #and like i'm watching that scene where pan's passed out in the desert while giru's fighting that trapinch-lookin thing #and would it have been underwhelming for her to go super saiyan for the first time against a giant worm? maybe #but it almost maybe seemed like it was leading up to her waking up and mustering up the strength to fight the worm (with the help of giru) #and then she just. wakes up and giru's already killed it #like. #ok. #a fungus watches dragon ball gt
