#the owl house #toh #luz noceda #willow park #gus porter #hunter toh #(he's there too! just very small. let me have this) #i had a lot of fun trying to figure out Hyacinth and Azura! they were unfamiliar so it was a challenge #hyacinth especially doesn't have a face I'd normally draw but i ended up really enjoying getting out of my comfort zone for him #i hope all the details translated well and that i interpreted aspects of their designs correctly? #i ended up accidentally giving Azura a slightly hooked nose bc i for some reason thought she had one? also struggled w/ her mouth a tad #but i decided to keep it in bc it made her face more unique lol. i already draw amity with a hooked nose so it kind of makes sense #you could say it's from alador though (which was also how i justified the way i drew her mouth since i normally draw Luz's differently- #-just imagine she got it from Camila) #also i recognize thst Hyacinth's cane arm is wonky?? really sorry about that! he was leaning on it a certain way in the ref photo #and i tried to replicate that but. eh #It's been a weird difficult time art wise recently #mainly cause of the hiatus I had to take cause of exams that I'm still recovering from. #Probably gonna end up taking another art/posting break (though we'll see how that all plays out??) #it's been a weird few weeks but not bad. this was mostly me wanting to share the design for my Deltarune Monsterswap AU's monster Kris as they appear in the Dark World, but it also doubles as a little something else: a glimpse into one possible Weird Route. the Kris of this AU isn't bound to Player choice... and thus far less defenseless against their whims.

the question is: what does it take to make a good dog bite?

#kris dreemurr #deltarune #kris deltarune #deltarune AU #deltaswap #monster kris #my art #Deltarune Monsterswap #so a few fun notes about their design: since they're based on a cadejo I wanted to work in a lot of related details #they're a white/angel cadejo in the dark world :) #hence the blue eyes and halo circlet! #but aside from that! cadejos are also sometimes depicted with hooves and/or shackles and BOTH felt good symbolically #mind you the shackles have some other significance too but :)c shhhh. i'll dig into that at a later time. they're important tho. #and finally: instead of a sword they dual-wield a pair of macuahuitl bladed clubs! i wanted them to have something closer to their origin #and those fit the bill! pretty wicked weapons actually; those blade edges are obsidian shards. extremely sharp. #the ones on theirs are designed to look like teeth but that isn't exactly a traditional design. felt right for them tho #anyway. i really like how this came out tbh. they aren't legitimately threatening very often but... the dog has limits. :)

thinking so many thoughts abt iris fresh out of the vault so scared, confused, vulnerable, alone, grief about to hit in full force, and still malleable, just for poppy to be the first person to find her and she has iris wrapped around her finger for a while

I was originally intending on finishing this one, before posting it here, but I don’t think I’ll have the motivation to do so. Initially began this character as a design for a DnD character, but he’s dead now in the campaign I played him in. Decided to also make him a character in my main WIP, though, with a similar backstory to his DnD counterpart, so he wasn’t wasted!

let's see... with kazooie, it's probably clankers cavern because i just really like clanker. he's so cool and i like hanging out with him.

with tooie, while i feel like it's everyones favourite, it's gotta be witchy world. it's just such a fun world overall that it's hard to pick anything else.

#Doodles #The weird little guy is me #Much closer now! Nearly complete! Just one more push #I actually did the entire design iteration process in one sprint and it was really fun :D #So these are very close! But there's still a few details to get right in the next set >:3c See if you can guess them before they appear! #I think the rattails were really the biggest and best addition - darkening and adding opacity to the inner hem of the fabric is good but ♪ #The hair! Oh and the Center lol finally decided on a nice simple design :) I'll go into it more in the next one but it's a pink-drip heart! #Since they're at least partially Fallen but still an Angel I don't think I'll be following the AGE lore that closely #Just something unique to all the established angels haha #Not cleaning the guidelines was really hard haha I was like ''But...but I could! I could do it!'' No that defeats the purpose lol #Gotta do the classic over-the-shoulder kicky feet pose! Did the same with Celestrians it's a good pose! #I'm just glad they're finally at a point where the details are Enough that it's fun but not So Much that it's hard to keep track of #I'm pleased :) Balanced ♪ #The goop panel lol >:3c #I mentioned in the first one thinking along the lines of Charm and [Purple Text] but I didn't want to just make Geode again - distinct #But I love the ink/candle gloops! Same with Sky and Hiraeth's angel forms! And Hiraeth's god form! It's just fun shapes! #So I was thinking of making the goop a conditional form for High Emotions - positive or negative causes melting haha #It reflects their Center :) It's just an extension of the base of self #Also did some testing with different feathered tails - I like the peacock one but it might be a bit busy haha #The little tail is cute but I don't like it at all lol #And the bird legs were definitely too much! Haha but they were fun to test out ♪ That's what concept art is for :D

Aaa thank you so much!! :D And nah, the ribbon is mostly just meant to add some visual interest to his tail. Originally I only drew the ribbon for his pilgrimage outfit because it looked more ragtag, but nowadays I also draw it for his Qitian Dasheng attire, so I have been thinking that the ribbon remains a little piece of his past he manages to keep with him.
