I will now list my favorite things about each S5 episode, I'll list one thing to keep it short

1.finding out Fu met Ladybug and Cat Noir in the past. It could have been anyone who helped him that day in "Origins", but he always knew it would be them.

2.Adrien attempting to greet Marinette with a kiss on the cheek. It's normal for Parisians(and others I imagine) but for a lot of us it tends to only happen with people you feel the most comfortable and closest to.

3.Marinette actively being the image of stress and responsibility piled onto one young person as she tries to think ahead and plan for the worst possible outcome.

4.Ladybug checking Mr. Damocles pocket in hopes there really is a clue to Monarch's location.

5.The cafeteria identity reveal, it was chaotic gold *chefs kiss

6.Luka purposely trying to make Adrien jealous to get him to realize his feelings for Marinette. ufvbhgfvbnjhgv!!! XD

7.Nathalie accepting Emelie's blessing to be a mother to Adrien.

8. The miraculous ancestor making their official debut into the show.

9. Marinette being open about her frustrations and telling everyone its unfair she be the only one who shouldn't love whomever she wants.

10. Alya and Zoe becoming the new(but still temporary) holders of the ladybug and cat miraculous.

11.Adrien unknowingly defying his father and taking back the ladybug earrings from him.

12.Everyone adding their phone numbers to Kagami's contacts so she knows they are all there for her.

13.Luka's vision shifting back and forth between viewing Marinette and Adrien as civilians and heroes.

14. Sabrina gradually realizing that Chloe has no respect for her.

15.Marinette making the effort to not fall back into her old habits, but still struggling none the less cause its hard.

16.Adrien switching to his pajamas so Marinette doesn't feel embarrassed about showing up to the mansion in her pajamas.

17. Marinette being considerate of Zoe's feelings while giving her a proper rejection.

18.Amalie realizing that the rich people she spent her whole life trying to please and fit into is filled with terrible people who don't care about her or her family.

19.Marinette standing up to Gabriel and not taking any of his smack talking, she was ruthless and it was glorious.

20.Lila collecting blackmail, she's evil, but man is she good at it.

21. Lila finally being exposed as a liar, I've waited 80 years(not really) for this very moment.

22. Adrien being rebellious and talking back to his dad, with mom-I mean Nathalie fully supporting him. Him saying bye to Nathalie and not Gabriel was a nice cherry on top.

23. Marinette refusing to let Chloe belittle and hurt her once again.

24. Adrien's nightmare and him still retaining that nightmare. The chaos, the desperation, the drama, holy smokes it was awesome. (I like chaos)

25 and 26. All of it.....all of it

First day of college is tomorrow so

Team Miraculous Headcanons!

(Note: I feel like the temp heros arent fleshed out as much so im only talking about their role on the team and the difference between their civilian and hero persona.)

Ladybug & Chat Noir: you already know.

Rena Rouge & Carapace: Just like the two lovebirds up there, I think there personalities swap in their hero personas. While Alya is the more rational one and Nino the coming up with crazy ideas, Rena is the crazy idea girl and Carapace is the one that wants everyone to think things through. In combat, Carapace is a frontliner like Chat Noir but with meatshield bent. Rena rarely sees combat because she's more of a mission control/guy in the chair/Navigator and yes I can randomly make persona references that supports the team from the shadows with illusions and spying on the villain.

Queen Bee: This might contradict canon but idc, Queen Bee is nice! Like yeah, she still insults her teammates, but not to their faces anymore! Chloe's making an effort to not be bad and she's failing, but it's the thought that counts right? In battle, Chloe is just doing her best Ladybug impression and it's not too bad.

Vesperia: If Queen Bee is Chloe trying to be nice, then Vesperia is Zoe being a savage! The girl has a lot of pent up anger from living with Audrey and Chloe at the same time, so she deserves to cut loose a bit. Vesperia is one of the heroes that uses the most taunts and insults against villains, sometimes to bait them but most of the time it's just her being a little bad. She's a frontliner but with an emphasis on dodging hits and grabbing attention.

Viperion: Luka is approachable, Viperion is not. He has creepy eyes and half of Paris is convinced he's psychic and can read minds (which isn't entirely wrong, he just reads emotions). The bad rep dosen't bother Luka too much, but it gets annoying when his teammates are scared of him.

Pegasus: Despite being a nerd, Max really isn't an uptight person. As long as something dosen't endanger himself, he's open to trying new things. Pegasus isn't. He lowkey believes he's surrounded by idiots including Ladybug (but he obeys her orders cause she hasn't really lost yet). Half of Paris is also terrified by him because he's able to pull off Batman levels of big brain during a fight.

King Monkey: Most of the temp's hero personas have different personalities but King monkey really is just Kim in monkey suit. Max has lowkey sussed out his identity, Kim suspects nothing.

Ryuko: Kagami is calm, which is why no one has figured out her identity because Ryuko is cRaZy. She's like one of those middle schoolers pretending to be their favorite anime character but WITH REAL POWERS! Villains are also scared of her because she has like 3 powers for some reason.

Purple Tigress: What more can I add? We all saw her: a raging cat lesbian. She's a berserker!

Pigella: She's like that one "threatening positivity" post: you will feel better, you have no choice >:)". the Love square between her and Tigress is real also. In fight she's like those really annoying spell casters that hypnotize your party members.

Miss Hound: When Sabrina transforms she just goes full Chloe! All the years of being mistreated come out as her being 10× meaner than any other hero! Miss Hound dodges a villains attack? "And thats why your useless, utterly useless!" She and Vesperia are besties!

Hi Y'all!

Hi everyone, long time no see, hasn't it?

Anyways, I want to say that I'm truly sorry if the blog seems inactive again. I know that when I first came on here, I made a promise to both Chloe and Zoe fans to not only give them the fanwork and the positive relationship they deserve, but also both the amount of love they both need; especially after that disaster clusterfuck known as Season 5 did to them both.

However, now that the year will be ending, now I feel like is the time to start over and try again!

As I'd said in the past before, it's going to take time to actually start writing again due to my massive IRL busy schedule and dealing with health (physically, mentally, etc...) as a whole. 2023 wasn't 100% the best year for me as I kept falling down and relapsing, but now, it's about time I make a change for real this time!

I will admit, I don't have all the pieces together yet because as of November 24th, I'd been on a 1 month and a half hiatus from the internet; focusing on my mental health and other aspects that help me get through the day and keep going.

Regardless, by 2024, I promise that things will start making a difference not only here but on my other 3 blogs as well (@muggle-born-princess; @princessgemsart and @pens-and-gems).

It's gonna take time for me to get back on track, but I promise: this Queen Bee / Vesperia stan will definitely feel and be healthier and happier once the time comes!

Ml fandom logic.

Chloe: Bully's everyone at school, makes Marinette’s life hell for 4 years at least. Sexually harasses Adrien, Abuses her sister and trys to deport her. Betrays Ladybug and sells her country out to a terrorist.

Fandom: Awww poor baby! Her mum is so mean! The others won't give her a chance!

Zoe: Uses her pain as motivation to make herself a new person. Is just genuinely nice and a good friend. And trys to do what's best for her friend's when it's clear they're troubled. Also uses her powers to actually be a hero.

Fandom: Uhh! So boring! Mary Sue!!!

If you think about it, Ladybug's yo-yo is just half a set of extra long, kid-friendly nunchucks :0 it's an exceptionally well-thought out weapon

Just like nunchucks, she can target people with the hard end

It can function as a grappling hook

The string itself is very durable and can cut through most things

When spinning fast enough, it can dig through materials

Functions as an offensive and defensive shield when spun

And because it never tangles, she can also do this thing 🧍‍♂️

pretty sick weapon imo

Okay, since going into the "Zoé Lee" tag results in being floored with a bunch of salty/hate posts - a thing people shouldn't do, because tagging a hate/salt post about any character with said character's name just to get more view is plain rude, immature and disrespectful to their fans, but they do it any way - I'm gonna start avoiding the tag and ask you this:

Genuine question so I hope this doesn’t come across as rude: why do you like Zoé so much?

I think she’s nice and yay gay rep but she really comes out of nowhere and just feels like a Marinette clone to replace Chloé so fans would stop asking about her failed redemption and stuff

Again, you’re entitled to your opinion and there’s things wrong, just curious

Let's start at the very beginning. I knew absolutely nothing about Zoé going into "Sole Crusher", and I first watched this episode in German dub without subtitles. So I had no idea what was going on. I honestly thought that this new blonde girl was Chloé's cousin or something. Then I read in the summary that they're half-sisters, and I was pleasantly surprised. I thought it was interesting to make their familial connection so much closer than expected, as I don't really see cousins as close family. And then I read that Zoé was the result of Audrey having an affair, and I was shocked, but also really respected the writers for having the guts to add something like that in. Maybe this is just because I haven't watched/read too many stories, but Zoé is the first time I've seen the affair child of such a bad person being portrayed in such a positive light. It kind of changed my view in a way.

I like that Zoé is so sweet, but also a little snarky sometimes. This is just my opinion, but I like that personality. You call her a Marinette clone, but other people have also compared her to Chloé, Adrien, and even Lila. I think at some point in the mixing process, she would have just become an original character, don't you?

When she became Vesperia, I really liked that she had value outside of just the Miraculous. Other heroes would often just use their powers and that's that. Doesn't make them look that unique. But Zoé used to acting skills to taunt Queen Banana into releasing Ladybug, and then tricked Chloé into accepting the Magical Charm. I feel that that gives her uniqueness. I'm a bit disappointed that this hasn't really been utilized since, but it's still something. And no offense to Queen Bee fans, but she made Venom look lame. I only saw it as cool after watching Vesperia paralyze the gigantic gorilla.

In "Transmission", Zoé is the only one being a good friend to Marinette. She doesn't partake in the party, and later goes to check on her when nobody else thinks of that. That made me respect her even more. And obviously, Kitty Noire slays (Blaqueminette is a better name though).

In "Deflagration", I like how she doesn't stand up for herself, but is fearless in protecting Marinette from Chloé. I think that solidifies how good of a person she is. But I was super disappointed to see that she wasn't Sole Destroyer like the leaks indicated. I mean, the name even fits her better. But I guess that idea is too cool for this show.

When I read the leaks for "Adoration", I initially didn't like it. I thought, "This doesn't further Zoé's character, it's just a plot device to push Adrienette further. Zoé deserves better." But after actually watching the episode, I ended up liking the confession. The way they did it was very sweet.

I think the only episode I have a problem with her is "Collusion". First, she has exactly one line, which just feels weird. Second, she says that Andre is a good man deep down, despite him hurting God knows how many people during his corrupt political career. This connects to a larger issue I have with the show, where they portray it that if you're forgiven by one person, all your past actions no longer matter, even if this person isn't the one you hurt most. But this episode is pretty much Zoé's only L in my book.

I understand that not everybody likes Zoé, and I don't expect them to. Honestly, I think her character and her introduction to me was just a perfect storm. I don't think this will change minds, but maybe it'll help you understand my point of view at least a little bit.

Andre KNOWS Audrey is abusive and yet is perfectly fine with sending Chloé to live with her anyway all while admitting Zoé is his favorite. And he declares custody over her even though legally he wouldn't be allowed to do that. And in the end, Chloé gets booed and jeered while leaving Paris in disgrace. What kind of fucked up ending is this???

It's official, Zoé was intended to be Chloé's replacement, nothing more. This was the final nail in the coffin for her, I'm done giving Zoé chances. Too much of the narrative has suffered just to make her work and Chloé... oh god Astruc went too far this time.”

Did it ever occur to anyone that both Chloé and Zoé don't wanna be lonely?

Let’s look at some examples.

In “Despair Bear,” this is the first time we see Chloe’s insecurities deep down. In the episode, Adrien threatened to end their friendship until she learns to change for the better.

This takes a toll on her for three reasons.

1. We find out that her mother was someone who abandoned her at a young age, something she still is traumatized by.

2. As seen in the flashback, we see that Chloe had a stuffed bear called Mr. Cuddly that was her coping mechanism to help her cope with her mom leaving her.

3. In the same flashback, we see Chloe and Adrien starting up their friendship while Mr. Cuddly is there.

Therefore, Chloe doesn’t want to be lonely because her own mother abandoned her, so she acted clingy to Adrien (and Ladybug) so the empty hole in her heart could be filled.

Meanwhile in “Sole Crusher,” we learn that Zoe had only one friend in NYC as they were the only who wrote on her shoes as a goodbye.

Then as the episode goes by, Zoe is pressured to be like her family: Mean, Narcissistic, and Rude to everyone around her in order to fit in. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work because it’s not something she likes or even wants to be apart of.

The only person who does give her sympathy is Andre, her stepfather.

Furthermore, from what we gathered, even Audrey treated Zoe poorly back when they lived in NYC.

Therefore, I must ask:

Why the hell didn’t neither Chloe or Zoe realize that Audrey was an abusive piece of shit mother and both decided to abandon her, and actually develop a relationship based of their trauma? Hell, both of them could've helped each other healed and moved on from the pain.

In addition, as we saw in "Optigami," Chloe still has some disdain towards Audrey. She laughed when Alec insulted her. Implying she hasn't forgiven Audrey for neglecting her.

So yeah Thomas, WHY COULDN'T YOU HAVE THEM DEVELOP BASED ON THE SAME TRAUMA THEY HAD!

Oh wait, I remember:

"bEcAuSe ChLoE mEaNiE aNd ZoE sWeEt AnGeL!"

Seriously?

SERIOUSLY?!

YOU COULD HAVE EASILY MADE THEM REALIZE THAT BOTH WERE BEING INFLUNCED AND MANIPULATED TO BE LIKE AUDREY JUST FOR THE SAKE OF HER ATTENTION!

This was implied back in Season 2 of “Style Queen” when Chloe attempted multiple times to get Audrey’s attention.

In conclusion, this would not only be a good relationship between both girls, but also a great character arc for both Chloe and Zoe.

Both could learn to move on and not be like their mother at all.

Both could learn to be their own person.

Both could have mentor one another:

Chloe could've taught Zoe to gain confident, learn to say what's on her mind, and not let anyone step on her for wanting her to change.

Zoe could've taught Chloe that she's not alone and that she doesn't need to be mean and angry 24/7 to get attention, and with some patience, she can learn to do better.

Kitty Noire is a fine name, and the suit really isn't that bad.

OK, yeah the lipstick is gaudy af, but don't act like you didn't have a bad makeup choice now and then.

That glitter eye shadow you had at 13 wasn't tasteful either.
