i can imagine him holding you so carefully while you guys slept

like he was afraid you were going to break in his arms

probably loves to smell your hair before sleeping (ik this sounds like so freaky but hear me out)

your shampoo brings him comfort, he associates it with home

now when it's the morning he is usually up an hour before you getting ready for the day and making breakfast for you

but on the days you're up before him, he is holding you close

you literally have to poke his cheek to get him awake but to no success, he just squeezes you tighter making it practically impossible

seonghwa then mumbles something about wanting five minutes more as he buries his face into your shoulder

and how can you say no to the park seonghwa?

kim hongjoong

ngl i feel like sleeping with hongjoong can be so mf chaotic

like he starts out cuddling you real close and cute

but then once he's asleep he is pushing you to the side because he is sleeping as if he is on the only one on the bed

i'm talking about spreading his legs and arms, maybe even sideways when he is asleep who knows

literally the opposite of seonghwa

since he is working half of the night, it means he is asleep for most of the morning/afternoon

trying to get him up before twelve in the afternoon after he was working was literally impossible

so whenever you woke up, hongjoong was still sleeping soundly with an arm thrown over you

too comfortable in his embrace, you close your eyes for a few more minutes and pull the covers closer to you

i feel like yeosang isn't the biggest fan of physical touch but he always wants to let you know that he's there for you even while you're sleeping

so he comprises by draping your arm somewhere over your body

or maybe he likes to loosely hold your hand as he sleeps but when he turns over that's when he drapes your arm over him

i can also see you compromising by grabbing yeosang's arm like a teddy bear and using his shoulder as a place to rest your chin

probably the most comfortable spot for to sleep on ngl

i can perfectly imagine waking up next to yeosang with his hair scattered in different places as he groggily wakes up and you're just laughing at how cute he looks with his hair like that

yeo is all like why are you laughing at me >:( and you're just like you're just so cute :D

i would also like to add you guys take turns waking each other up by kissing each other's hands

choi san

we all know this man likes to cuddle with whoever he is sleeping with

i can picture him, grabbing you close and always double checking if you're comfortable and urging you to get comfy before you go to bed

sleeping with him is just so warm and loving, i don't know how to describe it

it feels like your worries slip out of your mind whenever you nap with him

waking up however is a different story

waking up your cuddly boy is literally so fucking difficult AND FOR NO REASON

whenever you attempt to wake up san or pull him out of bed, he just pulls you back into bed

literally bear hugs you so tight you can't even get out of bed yourself

mumbles something about five more minutes as your cheek is smashed against his chest

depending on what you were supposed to do that day, you just like san pull back to sleep and you do

you fall asleep on his chest after listening to the calming and steady beat of his breathing

whatever you had planned for the day was going to be pushed back at least two hours

for mingi i feel like he loves to be little spoon more than big spoon

can perfectly imagine you cuddling from behind, your hands wrapped around his front with his back on your chest

the warmth you bring to him is something that can easily put him to sleep

which is why he prefers you to hold him especially when he was hard days

however, mingi has a problem of spreading tf out when he sleeps sometimes so you can either end up on the very corner of the bed about to fall off

i can assure you that sleeping with wooyoung can literally be war for you

also steals all of the blanket somehow if he isn't pushing you off the bed

however you manage to work around wooyoung's shitty sleeping habits and use his body for warmth instead of the blanket he somehow all took

maybe this is why he takes all the blanket, so he could get you to cuddle him without asking (sneaky bastard)

waking up next to him can be a little more peaceful

is always waking you up because he got a good nights rest while you were dreading waking up at that moment

likes to either tug at your warm to wake you up or start kissing your face like a manic

or if he's feeling a little too playful and start kissing anywhere

forcing you to wake up giggling

choi jongho

jongho is another secret little spoon

it just makes him feel so warm, loved, and comfortable

no matter where you were if you were holding him he would end up asleep

throwback to when he came back after kcon la and literally crashed in your arms as you guys were watching a movie at your apartment

the lack of sleep because of the time change and uncomfortable plane ride finally got to him

also very clingy in the mornings

you wake up to him hugging your arm, his face pressed against right below your shoulder

his cheeks have a tiny blush as his mouth slightly hanging open

attempting to wake him up is literally impossible

baby get his best sleep when he's with you so why would he ever wake up

Ingenue vs Gamine: Comparative Essence Analysis

I feel like most people get Ingenue & Gamine essence mixed up. They're easy to confuse because both these essences make the individual look younger than they are and give them a "cute" appearance but there are key differences between the two.

If you look at their features, they have full cheeks, mostly big eyes, a small tapered chin, round foreheads and an overall round face. They look very doll-like and innocent. Ingenue is extreme yin essence so these women look very girl-like even when they're much older (Miranda is 40, Nicola is 37)

All of these women have Gamine essence. Similar to Ingenue essence, all of them look young and cute but while Ingenues have more rounded features, Gamines have a combination of sharp and soft features. Gamine is yin with a dash of yang whereas Ingenue is pure yin. Gamines don't look as "innocent" as Ingenues, they have a kind of mischievous look to them. They're more likely to be cast as the troublemaker who plays silly pranks than the goody two shoes. Ingenues tend to have round faces overall whereas Gamines have more angular faces with pointy chins with smaller eyes and lips. They have a tomboyish charm.

I wanted to juxtapose Shu Qi & Ni Ni with some Gamines because I feel like because of their features they can be mistyped as Gamines even though they're Ingenues.

One distinguishing trait is their rounded foreheads, this is a very youthful trait because we associate it with babies. Another is how their overall features are rounded not angular, pointy or sharp. They also do not seem "naughty" or "mischievous" looking. Their faces seem softer more delicate as opposed to the Gamines.

At first, he didn’t believe in his family’s origins.

It’s not every day that Yeosang would see witches and warlocks as a regular occurrence. But then he started to have strange feelings like no human can do. It did freak out Yeosang about the idea of being a warlock. Magic, witchcraft, and mystical elements are things from fairytales. After believing, Yeosang acknowledges that he has control over anything. However, there is one that he cannot control.

Love.

When you came into his life, Yeosang changed a lot, aside from discovering his family’s history. Let’s just say he heads over heels for you. Yeosang loves everything about you that he couldn’t keep the secret. All in all, you loved him and thought his mystical life was amazing.

Or so you thought.

Around 8:00 p.m., you are studying for an exam that’s worth a lot of points, and it’s stressing you out. Once an hour has passed, you lay on your bed to take a break. In the middle of scrolling through your social media, Yeosang calls you. He usually does it whenever there is an emergency. What seems to be the problem?

“Hey, Yeo. Do you need help?”

“Hi, angel. Um…yes, like a very big help.”

From the sound of his voice, you assumed he did do something wrong. “Okay, what is it?” You sigh and let him explain.

“You see, I invited the guys for a hangout and cooked pizza for them. I might’ve put the wrong potion by accident.” Yeosang sounds so timid that you are trying to be patient. Suddenly, you hear a loud cry over the line. It was like a baby cry.

“Kang Yeosang, what was the potion?” Using his full name means you are in serious girlfriend mode.

He groans and softly says, “A baby potion.”

After he told his girlfriend, you are both confused and horrified. He turned his friends into babies. Why does he have it? That question will be answered once everything gets settled. You take deep breaths to calm the high level of stress. “I am heading over right now. Make sure the guys don’t burn down your place.” You reminded him—like a mother telling her son to not cause trouble.

Yeosang looks at the bunch making a mess, and fear quivers in his eyes. “I don’t know if that’s possible, but I’ll try.” He is being honest, and that’s all he needs to do.

As soon as the phone call ends, the warlock quickly rushes to not stop the fight between Baby San and Baby Mingi.

Thirty minutes later, Yeosang slumps on the floor and allows the guys to do whatever they want. Interestingly, he can tell the distinct personalities despite their young age. Seonghwa is gentle, Hongjoong is the bossy child, Yunho is a social butterfly, and Jongho is the quiet, well-behaved baby. While San, Mingi, and Wooyoung are the mischievous little devils.

The warlock’s eyes began to droop until his goddess of victory rang the doorbell. Yeosang perks and hassles towards the door to embrace you. “Oh my god! Please, save me!” He fake cried. He wishes he did but has no time to give up. It’s also his fault.

You pat his back for comfort. “Let me in, and we’ll fix this together.” You don’t need much to say because you could care less about resting for tomorrow’s exam.

Yeosang pulls away to take you inside. Your eyes roamed to see seven babies in different areas of the apartment. Yeosang stands next to you. “I’ll take care of Hwa, Joong, Yun, and Jjong. You take care of those things.” He points out that the troublemakers are fighting for fun. You look at where he is pointing, and it’s no surprise you can tell who is who.

“I now understand why you prefer not to have five-year-old Wooyoung.” You couldn’t contain your laughter. You witnessed your boyfriend of a warlock rolling his eyes. Even though they are rowdy, you can admit they’re so cute.

“Hey, guys.” You bend down to their small size and instantly grab their attention. The cutest thing happens that melts your heart. San’s face etches a bright smile. “You’re pretty noona!” He comments in his adorable, squeaky voice.

Out of nowhere, a small body latches onto your right arm. “She is mine!” Wooyoung glares at San. But Mingi does the same for your left arm. “No! She is my noona!” He exclaims as if he owns you.

Great. This is going to be a long night.

You turned your head and saw Yeosang trying to let Jongho share the Hehetmon plushie with Seonghwa, Hongjoong, and Yunho.

Several hours later, the babies are finally out like the light and sleeping in Yeosang’s room. You peek at them because they look so peaceful and calm. A smile plays on your face. You quietly close the door and go to the living room where Yeosang is resting on the couch.

His entire place is a mess—from the snack wrappers to the empty cups to the cold, unfinished pizza slices.

You take a seat on the couch. Yeosang opens his eyes and moves to put his head on your lap. “So, tell me. Why did you make that potion?” You delicately brushed his dark locks.

The warlock starts to spill the beans. “I was creating one that can make me remain youthful. I noticed my body had been weak, and my hair had strands of gray. I didn’t want to lose my powers and my young-looking self. I was also afraid I wouldn’t be able to stay with you forever. I was making pizza with my magic and accidentally put it in.” He chuckles dryly.

You become speechless from his explanation. Yeosang somewhat did it on purpose. You then caressed his cheek to meet his sharp, beautiful eyes. “Kang Yeosang, you’re already perfect in my eyes. Even if you grow older.” You tried to make your boyfriend happy with your genuine words.

For momentarily, Yeosang comprehends that you love him so much. His insecurity made him too afraid to confess. But he feels a thousand times better by your consolation.

The warlock shifts his head to kiss your palm. A lovely smile curls his pretty lips. He says, “Thank you, angel.”

You questioned Yeosang, “How long does the potion last?”

He waves his hand nonchalantly. “Not that long. They’ll wake up the next morning back to their normal, obnoxious selves.”

Hello Anon! Thanks for sending this in when you did! I'm so sorry about the long wait. Every time I get requests about the dragons fretting about their s/o for any reason, I get so excited because they're all very cute (and maybe even cuter when they worry)

These might be reminiscent of my injured s/o HCs with Jaeha and Kija as the topic of discussion is somewhat similar! (ailed s/o with dragons caring for them)

I also happened to fall sick while working on this LMAO, but side note: using my platform to say please mask up when you go about your day! Masking is a way to protect yourself and your community members, especially those at risk/who suffer chronic conditions due to or not due to the novel COVID-19 virus— the pandemic is not over!

Pronouns for this ask will be she/her as used by anon!

Kija

Kija is a member number 1 of the overprotective squad. He already wishes to treat you delicately under normal circumstances, so if ailment befalls you, you can bet that protective nature will flare up more. He makes sure you're in bed and resting no matter what you say and takes care of all of your chores for you.

Much like he would in my injured s/o HCs, Kija would want to be as knowledgable as he could be about your illness and would ask Yun questions about your condition, unusually attentive and serious while taking the info in.

He's very worried about you! It agonizes him to see you suffer headaches or sore throats— anything that your illness inflicts on you, he would take in your stead and he would often voice this to you at your bedside.

He'd help you eat and feed you without question, and maybe even force feed you before Yun tells him not to bother you too much in case you're suffering from headache/unable to stomach anything, but of course you make sure he knows his intentions are appreciated.

I don't know what to call this factor; something like this applies to all the dragons in different ways, so I'll tell you how I think they'd go about processing and expressing this: Kija is ecstatic he gets to take care of you. He thinks it ill-hearted on his part to be happy about your unfortunate state, but really, he's just happy to be at your service in any way he can. Your being sick only increases the opportunities for him to show you how much he loves you and how much he cares.

Shinah

Shinah is member number 2 of the overprotective squad. He'd go to great lengths to make sure you're well-accommodated and ask Ao to be with you at times he may have to leave your side. He gives you his fluffy coat of fur and braves the cold without it because he thinks you need it much, much, much more than he does.

He sends you glares if you try to be proactive. He really really wants you to rest because Yun advised it and said it would go away faster if you slept and ate and don't overexert yourself.

While he's out in the field and happens upon some wildflowers and thinks of you, he may hear from Yona or Zeno that he could give them to you as a get-well-soon gift. Even though it's a form of courtesy, he wants to believe that it's like a prayer for you to get well soon and thinks it will help you fight your illness.

He always keeps an eye on you. Every time you run out of water, Shinah would make sure to fetch some more for you. You don't even have to ask— if he sees that your cup is empty, he'll be right back with it full. Even at night, if he happens to be on night guard duty, he'll care for you all the same.

I don't know what to call this factor; something like this applies to all the dragons in different ways, so I'll tell you how I think they'd go about processing and expressing this: Shinah loves taking care of you. He feels like he's doing something good and that makes him feel good and worthy. He has a bit of a hard time expressing his feelings for you in words, so in some ways similar to Kija, Shinah would take this time to make sure you're well-taken care of because he wants you to know how much you mean to him. He really, really wants you to get better.

Jaeha

While you're sick, Jaeha often teases you with things like feeding you dinner and saying that you must've gotten sick so he can dote on you, or hoping that he'll catch your illness and be in bed with you, but he's actually really careful (worried) and observant of your state and wants to make sure you're comfortable.

As always, he cares much more than he lets on, and does things for you outside of the periphery of you and the group. Once he's caught, he plays it cool (like he always does) and keeps going about his day doing things for you.

While you're sleeping, he'd often sit there and watch your peaceful expression. If you have fever, he'd be there to change out the wet towel on your forehead, but he's otherwise there just watching you. When someone else walks in on him, he's unusually startled— I'll let you decipher why on your own. :) (spoiler: he's embarrassed for no reason and gets more embarrassed because he felt embarrassed but he plays it cool— it's complicated. TLDR Jaeha's silly but we already know that.)

Generally, Jaeha may tease you but his true feelings can be gleaned from how he blows on the steaming porridge in your spoon and the way he pulls the covers over you when you lay down.

I don't know how to word this factor; something like this applies to all the dragons in different ways, so I'll tell you how I think they'd go about processing and expressing this: Jaeha secretly loves the intimacy of being at your side and having you rely on him. He'd be quite open about how he's loving it (it'd come off a bit teasing and as typically non-betraying-his-feelings as Jaeha can get), but there's a deeper emotion that he's feeling while he goes through the motions of taking care of you that he wants to keep all to himself.

Zeno

When you're sick, Zeno already knows the motions of caring for you pretty well. He's his usual cheery self and his sunny disposition almost cheers your recovery on like a cheerleader.

Outside of caring for you, Zeno likes picking flowers as get-well-soon gifts. He likes to tell you all about the shenanigans of the group that you may have missed in your time resting, and his lips stretch into that heart-wrenching smile of his as he watches you giggle about how silly the group can be.

Zeno sticks by you the most out of the three dragons. Because he's immune to illness and fatigue, Yun trusts him to look after you the most while he may have his hands tied with other chores. Because of his inability to feel fatigue, Zeno also rests by you while you sleep despite your many demands for him to get some sleep. "Zeno doesn't need sleep, so you rest well, Y/N." You can hear his care in the way your name rolls off his tongue despite his infrequent use of it.

When he feeds you, he lightly brushes his lips against the spoon to make sure it's just the right temperature.

I don't know what to call this factor; something like this applies to all the dragons in different ways, so I'll tell you how I think they'd go about processing and expressing this: He finds your sick state incredibly endearing— it evokes a lot of memories for him that are bittersweet but nevertheless precious. He knows your pain will only be temporary and takes each action he takes to care for you with a profound contentedness and hope that he'll see you bounce back within a few weeks' time.

If they were animals…

(Don’t. Don’t even ask where this idea came from…. Actually you totally can but anyway)

ALBEDO

Mouse. The reason for this is because I view Albedo’s storyline similar to that of a mouse test subject. Intelligent, used for experimentation, and quietly unassuming but capable of extreme destruction.

KAEYA

Fox… 100% because of the stereotype but then also because of the fact that he defies the stereotype. It’s just that he is expected to trick others by people like Diluc (and mostly only Diluc since he’s very helpful to everyone else). He just has that way of speech that makes him seem shadier than he is, and he’s probably willing to do things that even Jean isn’t in order to ensure Mondstadt’s safety. Resourceful creature.

JEAN

Golden retriever. Okay, this is getting specific, but how else do you describe the most loyal, most eager to help, most self-sacrificing lady in Mondstadt (okay, debatable, but she’s one of them for sure!). Plus, she probably melts like putty when shown the slightest amount of affection. She’s a big softie.

LISA

Surprisingly, not a fox… but a koala. She’s very low energy, and while for koalas it’s because of their diet, for Lisa I think it focuses on her conserving energy for fights (of which she even has a sort of languid style then, too). In this sense, you could think of her as a lion, but I feel koala is more suiting for her because she has a very approachable demeanor. Soft and… cuddly. Sure. Koalas enjoy the quiet, peaceful times, and this reminds me of Lisa’s tea time when we found her sitting by herself. Plus, she works in a library—is that not fitting for a quiet environment?

VENTI

Dolphin. Highly intelligent, friendly, quick, constantly moving creatures. Shown to be very helpful to humans when they’re in danger. Shown to like to be around humans. Curious creatures. Shown to be very like humans… see where I’m going with this?

(If you heard weird things about dolphins… doesn’t apply here. Wipe it from your mind.)

ZHONGLI

Elephant. Highly intelligent, protective, strong memory. I think one key feature of Zhongli is that memory, that and his geo indestructible abilities remind me of how impossible it is to move an elephant, thus…

TARTAGLIA

Hyena. Something about how a hyena’s laugh isn’t actually a very joyous sound, it’s actually terrifying most of the times you hear it, and the rough upbringing of hyenas in general reminds me a lot of Childe’s backstory and his current state of putting on his bloodthirsty front for a fight. It’s extremely concerning. The only thing that is hard to connect with these two is that a hyena typically fights in a pack while Childe is the lone type, and he seems to prefer it that way.

SHENHE

As a lot of artists depict, the snow leopard is so right for Shenhe’s personality. Elusive, solitary creatures that avoid confrontation not just with other cats, but also with humans!

YUN JIN

Rabbit. Not only because they’re very cute… from my experience with them—which isn’t much—they’re very sociable creatures that range from being a bit timid but also extremely silly depending on the circumstances. Kind of a generic animal to pick, but the strongest qualities that I think resonate Yun Jin for me are that they 1), like to keep their living quarters neat (screams Yun Jin to me who may have a messy quarter due to her busy life as a performer, but I like to think during her “free time” she enjoys cleaning up around her place), 2), are great pets for ‘quiet kids’/are also great at teaching kids patience, and 3), can absolutely be so dramatic in the ‘quietest’ way.

ROSARIA

Orca. One, I really like that the orca is also called the “killer whale” but are, in fact, very friendly towards humans. They’re terrifying in that they are larger than life creatures, and the way they play with their prey (seals in particular) is brutal, but their threat to a human is nonexistent. Two, mother orcas help their sons in particular survive, and while Rosaria is only a sister to Razor, I find this dynamic potentially reflective in that Rosaria is clearly older but also extremely protective of her brother, and I just like the thought of this big sis ready to kill for her only brother.

Lunarix has made their MAMA debut! Attending both days of the award show, the girls were nominated for Rookie of the Year and Music Video of the Year. The girls also performed on both days, the first day performed their own song while on the second day, Yoomi joined Huh Yun-jin (Le Sserafim), Xiaoting (Kep1er), Bada Lee (Street Woman Fighter 2), Monika (Street Woman Fighter), Minnie ((G)I-dle) for the super stage "Goddess Awakened".

Being styled in sparkly white and black dresses, the girls stunned on the red carpet, posing for the cameras like pros with many heart poses and eye-catching smiles. The girls were noted to be very photogenic and playful with photographers, clearly enjoying themselves.

For their performance, the girls would perform their latest title track, "NONSENSE!" though they would not be drawing clown outfits for makeup this time around. They would be styled in simple yet quirky pink outfits.

For her part in the "Goddess Awakened" stage, Yoomi would perform a dance to "What ur Secret? (MAMA VERSION)" where only the instrumental was played while Yoomi danced with backup dancers around her in white. Yoomi's outfit was a baby pink with iridescent gemstones adorning the top of her dress.

The girls' performances were highly praised for their energy and crowdwork. At the start of their performance of "NONSENSE!" the girls actually started in the crowd, interacting with their colleagues as they sang the intro to the song. Evie started the song off sitting between Xiaoting and Chaeyeon of Kepler, looking at both the girls with an excited smile on her face before saying, "Are you ready for this?" as if she was asking them personally. It was a cute moment as the girls played along, cheering excitedly and nodding.

Once the girls all met back on stage for the chorus, they would deliver an electrifying yet fun performance. Despite giving it their all, the girls were met with a predominantly black ocean. Celestials blame this on Lunarix not having an official lightstick and the fans that were there not having any real way to show their support in the crowd besides cheering. The black ocean would cause more buzz than their performance, which only upset fans further. The girls are presumed to be ignoring this as they haven't brought it up.

Yoomi's performance, while not met with a black ocean, thank god, was met with heavy criticism from netizens as they claimed she was lacking compared to the other idols around her. Yoomi claims to have been practicing her routine for months, working with choreographers and professionals to make sure she performed to the best of her abilities. While some were critical of her, many professional dancers who reacted to the performance said that Yoomi performed very well and only seemed to lack facial expressions.

Despite their composed demeanor for the cameras, the girls couldn't keep it together behind the scenes.

Case in point: during a jewelry mishap, Taerin's pearl necklace snapped, scattering pearls everywhere. Cue collective shock from the group, drawing amused glances from other idols. Siyeon quickly shifted from laughter to action, diving into a Ricky fan cam moment as she picked up pearls while apologizing to the boys through fits of laughter.

The girls also made waves with their reactions to a certain Treasure member. As Hyunsuk appeared on screen during Treasure's performance, the camera caught Laila looking unamused and Siyeon scratching her head with a puzzled expression.

A fan-edited video showcased the girls enthusiastically reacting to Somi and (G)I-DLE's performances, only to abruptly switch to forced smiles during a boy group's act. The video became a viral reaction meme among Celestials.

Navi's genuine enjoyment of Le Sserafim's performance turned heads. Expressing shock when it ended too soon, she turned to Siyeon in disbelief, questioning, "They only get one song?" with a distressed look.

Backstage, Yoomi and Laila, dressed in performance outfits, covered Siren with Riize's Shotaro and Sungchan. The video earned praise for the girls' ability to handle challenging choreography. In the caption, Laila mentioned, "Ahh, my favorite song and dance 🌟. Asked Shotaro to get Siren on Spotify, and he said he's working on it 🥲."

During Xiker's performance, Evie enthusiastically nodded along, turning to Taerin and inquiring, "Do you think they'll play Tricky House?" Taerin's reply? A puzzled, "I don't know what that is."

Navi stole the spotlight with an infectious smile when she showcased the Sugar Rush Ride choreography (our certified moa) on the big screen. Her visuals went viral, prompting the trending phrase "WHO IS SHE?" on Twitter.

The girls, excluding Evie, were visibly surprised when they lost the Rookie of the Year award. Evie, on the other hand, nonchalantly shrugged while clapping for the winners, having foreseen the outcome.

growing up, childe always lent a helping hand around the kitchen while his siblings were outside playing

and, truth be told, he feels most at home there

so when you come home and see childe in a lovely apron, calmly whisking ingredients together into a thick batter, you’re floored

how could your boyfriend looked so hot cute??? and act so nonchalant about it??? mother fucKER WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS 🤬

and when he looks up to you???

he literally breaks out into a smile, eyes crinkling up at the very edges

he’s all smiling and warm inside because he’s just so happy to be with his favourite person🥰

ugh, he’s precious sometimes

if you ever want to join in, childe is all for it!

most of the deserts you’re making are for his younger siblings though! be warned!!

and childe does become a little more... distracted while baking with you

while you’re in the kitchen, he wants to be touching you at all times

leaning his head onto your shoulder, hugging your waist with one hand, and hugging you from behind are his top 3, for sure

given the chance, he will pepper kisses into your neck as you mix and measure ingredients

if you happen to mess up because of his actions, childe will mumble an insincere apology

if you are really serious about baking though, childe will be very helpful!

he has a few tricks up his sleeve and knows the perfect way to bake (and cook) something he’s familiar with

if it’s a new recipe though? he’ll still bring the same confidence as before!

“alright, so add one teaspoon of vanilla... hm. babe, how about we swap out the vanilla for some rum? what?! it tastes so much better— arg, fine, fine, i relent! i suppose getting my younger siblings drunk on cookies isn’t a very good idea...”

ayaka likes decorating the deserts you’ve made!

but otherwise, she does not like baking!!

she gets really frustrated with the recipes, as most of the ones she uses are worded strangely or too complicated

she would read the recipe, follow the instructions, measure everything EXACTLY to the grain

....except... she’d still mess up along the way

but hey!! you still get cookies in the end!! they just don’t taste/feel like expected!

so, she sticks with decoration

and a small section of ayaka’s kitchen is just reserved for that, actually!

she only ever uses it whenever you bake though

and she loves, loves, loves watching you bake

ayaka will happily stand in the kitchen with you, simply enjoying your presence😌

and, no matter your experience with baking, she’ll love to call you some sweet related nicknames (sweetie, honey, and rarely honey-buns)

it’s a very calming experience for her!

even if you get distracted and almost burnt down the kitchen!! she’s never been more calm in her life, don’t worry!

but when it’s time to decorate? ayaka completely switches places with you

she's now become the master in the kitchen while you stand back, amazed

and whatever she decorates always turns out so pretty, definitely earning a place in your camera-roll

your cookies are... unique!! compared to ayaka’s at least

but ayaka loves them with every bit of her being!!

she just can’t help but chuckle a lil when you put them side by side

“oh, don’t be so hard on yourself! your cookies look... charming! no, i’m not lying, darling, please trust me. hm... if you want i could let you know a few tips and tricks for decorating— er, only if you want to though, sweetie!”

yun jin doesn't bake often... but she would with you!

mostly because it’s an excuse to touch you, due to the small kitchen space

but she won’t let you know that, of course😉

although, you have a sneaking suspicion yun jin enjoys leaning her head on your shoulder more than the actual baking...

oh, and besides trying to be close to you, yun jin does try to dance with you too!

while your pastries are baking, she’ll gladly take your hands and twirl you around

it doesn’t matter if yun jin makes up a dance on the spot or if each careful step and twirl are apart of some ancient dance— she makes the moment special

she’ll still smile and laugh with you as she spins you around and around

and you won’t notice this, of course, but yun jin doesn’t let go of you until the dance is over

truthfully, she never really wants the dances to end but... the pastries cannot be burned☹️

and when you do need yun jin’s help, she’s more than willing!

she practically dances on her own whenever she fetches ingredients and tools around the kitchen

and if yun jin ever needs to move past you, she’ll gently grab you by the waist and move you over

her touch is feather-light and without any pressure, and you barely notice it until you’ve been moved

it’s still a flustering experience for you! (it’s yun jin, c’mon)

but yun jin is oblivious to any effect this has on you!!

until she catches a hint of enjoyment from you, whether that be a smile or flustered expression

and she will (unknowingly) tease you about it, by the way

“oh! excuse me, my love, but the whisk is just behind you. pardon me— okay, here you go, love. er... my love, what’s with that smile on your face? d...do you like me picking you up, my dearest? wha— no, love, it’s a genuine question—”

sucrose is a great baker!

she has the cutest cooking tools and appliances!!!

all of which she uses very often, by the way

and she applies the same seriousness she uses with her lab experiments with baking

also, sucrose really wants to impress you with her baking skills👉👈

so she starts giving you her “samples” and eagerly asks for your opinion on them

slowly, but surely, sucrose will find out your preferences😈

sure, she could ask you what you like

but where’s the fun in that, right?

oh, by the way, if you’re ever right next to sucrose you can catch a whiff of vanilla from her

please tell sucrose she smells nice, she’ll melt

also, please let sucrose talk about baking!!

you’ll be blessed with a very excited sucrose who is babbling on and on about how her work and baking aren’t so different

and she has stars in her eyes and she’s smiling and she’s getting louder and she’s so cute and—

but if she notices that you’re staring at her, sucrose will clam up

she may have mistaken your look of adoration for boredom...

sucrose’s really worried you might grow bored of her

or worse! you might think she’s really annoying and just want her to shut up

but sucrose is delighted when you encourage her to go on!

she will happily talk as you both wait on the pastries to bake, gradually regaining that confidence

“and really, the only difference between my lab work and baking is the amount of mistakes i can make. no, seriously! with recipes that have been used for years, i know what product i’ll get at the end of my experiment. but, when i follow mister albedo’s notes—”

Costume Meta 6x16

Thank you costume department for giving me an easy ride this week after a couple of weeks of epics!!!!

So there aren’t a lot of costumes to talk about this week (only 9) and only for 4 characters - Jee-Yun, Maddie, Chimney and Hen. Everyone else was in uniform the entire time. There wasn’t even all that much going on with the uniforms to talk about either - they didn’t single anyone character out as separate from the rest!

In more general terms we got to see check and stripe theory at play again on the characters in peril or trouble. We continue to get children in peril foreshadowing going on and I was obsessed with the choice to put Jayden in an army green zip up top an a tee with hand prints all over the front. It wasn’t only a nod towards the many voices making light work of locating him when he snuck off, but it also would appear to be foreshadowing for the idea that it will take many hands to rescue Chim (and whomever else needs saving) in the finale.

As always its below the cut to save your dash!

Jee-Yun

Baby Jee why you have to be so cute? Ok so other than the adorable way she kept staring at Bobby in the scene in his office her little denim jacket was very cute. I’m intrigued by the fact that we had Chris in a denim jacket last week and we’ve got Jee in one this week, I think I’ve talked about it in one of my previous costume meta’s, but Denim jackets are a symbol of rebellion, freedom, change and comfort. To me the use of these denim jackets (and we can include the sort of one Maddie wore in this as well) are a form of foreshadowing - telling us that change is coming/happening. For Chris last week it could be symbolic of the Diaz boys moving on from Shannon and while still honouring her and including her in their lives, they are in a place to make change and move forward. While For Jee it is being connected in with the engagement ring and so represents the change in family dynamic that is upcoming reenforcing the engagement (and subsequent marriage) of Madney. In both cases the suggestion is that the change will be a comfortable one.

these pyjamas are just so lovely - I want grown up sized ones please!! They do however have some super interesting potential meanings attached to them. Firstly I would not be surprised if the choice of floral pyjamas (again attached to the ring) are foreshadowing Jee-Yun flower girl duties at the Madney wedding. Secondly the choice to have ones that are only partly coloured in is interesting - it suggests there is still ongoing work and that things aren’t finished yet - its a work in progress - here telling us the engagement isn’t a foregone conclusion in the way we perhaps think - there are lots of ways this could be read - Maddie proposing before Chim, Jee handing the ring over, the ring being found, them both proposing to each other - lots of possibilities - the unfinished nature of the pyjama print is likely telling us things are not going to go as we expect them to! then there is the types of flowers on the pyjamas and wha they mean in relation to the arc of this episode, but also more widely with Maddie. There are two main flowers on these pyjamas - gerbera daisies and sunflowers. Gerbera’s mean cheerfulness and loyal love, while the sunflowers represent happiness, loyalty, resilience, hope, endurance and enduring love and if you are not seeing how those meanings perfectly describe Madney then I don’t know what to tell you! Sunflowers are also closely connected with hidden disabilities and especially with mental health, this is where the resilience and endurance comes from - I think they are supposed to further highlight Maddie’s mental health struggles which were discussed in the episode, but their appearance on Jee show us the bright side - the hope that comes from fighting on and coming out the other side - it ultimately connects into the ‘I got out of the ocean for you, for both of you’ of it all - the idea of following your own personal sun!

Maddie

Fascinated by the choice to have Madde in black and purple for both her costumes this week. The first is a black top under a black jacket with a yellow and purple check pattern as well as a cat, skull and wing logo dotted across the jacket. Black is a power colour, but it is also about concealing vulnerabilities, while purple can be a colour that encourages self knowledge and deepens our understanding of our innermost self. I think their use in both costumes here is not so much about Maddie in the scenes we see her in, as much as it is reflecting on the amount of growth and work she has done on herself to get to where she is right now - how she concealed how vulnerable she was from everyone including Chimney back in season 5 when she was at her lowest with PPD. Then the presence of purple shows us how much Maddie has learnt and how far she has come - it is an indicator of her current state - she is in a good place and has a good understanding of both herself and of her relationship with Chimney. That isn’t to say that Maddie isn’t still concealing vulnerability - we have seen her talk with Josh about not wanting to change the status quo because they are in a good place so there is still an element of underlying tension etc which will need to be resolved before the engagement can become a reality.

Then we get this black shirt worn with bright purple sweats. The two heart necklaces are worn in both scenes this episode, the smaller heart necklace is a new one, the larger one has been around all season and has seemingly been used interchangeably to represent different characters at different times. What I find interesting about Maddie now having two hearts rathe than one is that idea that the large heart was much more about family - this included Buck. It still does mean family, but now with the smaller heart it suggests there is a division between familial love and a different type of love - romantic love. To me this diviion at this moment is important. it tells us that Maddie has previously kept Chimney in the box of family - so while she loves him and is in love with him and fully committed to the relationship they have, it has always been a whole - a part of her familial love. This has been a self preservation tactic for her - she still bears the scars of her marriage to Doug and keeping Chimney in the box alongside family is a way of her protecting herself. Now though, now we have it separated - it is smaller, not because it is lesser, but because it is a tentative step - testing the waters as it were - a representation of Maddie deciding that it is safe enough to set that love free properly, that she is ready to take that leap again and have a marriage not just a family.

Chim

Chim being almost entirely in grey this week (with a blue marl tee under the grey zip front hoodie) started wit the grey shirt we see him in at the jewellery store. this shirt is a cleaver piece of costuming because it has both a horizontal stripe and a check pattern on it. the white horizontal stripes play in to stripe theory - change is coming for Chim, while the darker grey vertical lines help to create a check pattern which continues the Chim in check theme we’ve seen all series and is very much foreshadowing his being in danger and impending injury.

Chim’s grey zip front hoodie is a waffle knit which gives it a subtle check pattern, so here again we have more check on Chimney - all building up to whatever peril he is going to be in in the season finale. Grey is a conservative colour and is associated with being unemotional but also compromise. It is also a colour of stability and control, so I found it especially fascinating for him to be wearing it throughout this episode where he appears to be anything but unemotional, stable and in control!

I do however thing the grey is an intentional call back to his father - who we saw in a lot of grey. It makes me think of the conversation Chim had abut his father with Myung-Soon about him not being able to make his first relationship work, or his business, however his relationship with Myung-Soon has workd - well as has his business - when he was in the right place.

With their being a loud call back to Tatiana and Chim not being able to make that relationship work because ultimately they wanted different things, whereas his relationship with Maddie has worked despite all of the obstacles they have faced and Chimney is successful in his career (hello very pointed visual of Chim in the captains chair and office!). I’m also amused at the choice to have him wearing a head torch - a nod to the ring box having a little light in it and it being empty - in the same way that Chim’s search for the ring in the garbage heap is also coming up empty.

Hen

This Celtic knot jumper is my favourite outfit of the episode. the red white and blue hints at patriotism, but in this case I think the patriotism is code for being supportive towards your friends and family - as we see Hen doing here - supporting Chim even though she has reservations about him proposing to Maddie.

The use of Celtic knots - specifically the Solomons Knot is a really cool choice. Celtic knots in a general sense mean infinity or eternity - and can be attached to various concepts such as faith, friendship or romantic love. The Solomons knot specifically has connections to wisdom and knowledge as well as having a connection to the endless cycle of time and the concept of setting things in motion. These are all meanings that connect with this scene so well, the other thing to consider though is that these knots aren’t just found in western culture. they are commonly found in African culture - the knot is often found on the clothing of the Yoruba people where it denotes royal status, and on the people of the Kuba, it has a very different meaning, it is known as the Kramo bone symbol and means "one being bad makes all appear to be bad"

The duality of meanings is fascinating to me - I think the jumper is signalling Hens unending love for Chimney as her friend, but also hints at her reservations about Maddie - that idea of one being bad makes all bad is pretty interesting in the context - the idea that Hen isn't convinced about Maddie because she 'abandoned' Chimney and Jee once. It hints at Hen making sweeping decisions or forming an opinion based on one thing rather than seeing the whole picture - its about Hen not being in the relationship and therefore not seeing all the parts of it - its a direct call to The speech Eddie made on Bucks balcony in season 5 about Buck not being in Maddie and Chim’s relationship and Buck loving Maddie in a different way to the way Chim loves her because he knows her in a different context.

Yellow hoodied Hen my beloved! Its just such a good colour on her! It does of course (as always) represent communication - and in this instance, a representation of the fact that Hen and Chimney are communicating properly once more - they had their talk and are now back on the same page and back to getting themselves into trouble together! The white trousers we definitely a choice! Although I think what the costume department were trying to do here was show Hen getting her hands dirty in a physical way - in a visual representation of penance - undertaking a mucky and unpleasant task asa way of making up for her not talking openly with Chim about her concerns.

“Oh what a tangled webs we weave when first we practice to deceive!” The Walter Scott quote appears apt on the surface for this hoodie Hen wears at the end of the episode, as it looks to be a web like design. I however didn’t think the web metaphor fit here - if we’d seen her in it at the beginning of the episode, it absolutely would as she tangled herself up in a web throughout the episode.

To me it looks more like shattered glass or broken ice (interestingly enough the pattern is described as sea ice on the designers website!) both are perfect analogies for Hen at this moment - her preconceived notions and her illusions and worries have been shattered. The broken glass could represent the image she saw of how things were in Madney’s relationship have been shattered - it can represent her dismantling the image she saw - the reflection (which is never the actual reality) and recognising it as false enabling her to move on and forward. The broken ice metaphor is both playing into the concept of ‘breaking the ice’ like those silly office team building games etc that get played - Hen breaking the ice post her and Chim’s big conversation from earlier. But the broken ice metaphor can also be about being trapped in a way of thinking and without obvious escape without help. It’s a nod to the fact that Chimney offering his forgiveness to Hen is an act of breaking the ice that had covered their relationship - Hen being the one wearing it is a representation of the person who created the ice in the first place.

I didn’t manage to get this out as quickly as I’d hoped this week, real life decided it wanted me to be very busy!! But I go there in the end! hope you enjoyed reading it and let’s see what next week brings us (I think it might be a case of normal service resuming and there being a million costumes to talk about!!

Chongyun

✧ This boy plays all (absolutely all) paranormal games. He is also no stranger to horror as the two genres often go hand in hand. For this reason he got a lot of viewers, as he sticks to the trends.

✧ He started recording thanks to you and his friend Xingqiu. He believes that this is how he can easier meet someone who spoke to ghosts before which has been his dream for a long time. He had a few reports so far but though he had thoroughly investigated them, they turned out to be false. His dream is to see at least one ghost in his life.

✧ Chongyun likes conspiracy theories. He has a couple of videos commenting on them. He believes in a lot of strange things.

✧ Fans loved him mainly for his personality. He is very open towards them and does not criticize. For this reason there were some haters very early in his career saying that he was actually faking kidness because no one can be so nice all the time. Chongyun said he didn't mind but you decided to intervene because it shouldn't be like that.

✧ One of his special signs is ice cream. He overheats very quickly and always keeps spare tube in the freezer. He ate them in front of viewers to such an extent that a brand of frozen sweets offered him cooperation. He agreed and now you can see his entire line in stores. In return, he got a huge supply, so he's happy.

Yun Jin

✧ She started her career working in the opera. Thanks to this and education devoted to singing, she dedicated herself to this field for the rest of her life.

✧ Lady lawyer whose channel is very small. Mainly because Yanfei rarely plays and quite niche titles at that. For this reason, she does not invest in equipment and has problems with it. Yanfe is a streamer because she values real-time interactions with viewers.

✧ A little more publicity brought her series called Ace Attorney. The adventures of the main character, who performs the same profession as her, meant that she could perfectly relate to the events on the screen. She explained in an accessible way what are the differences between the game and how the law works in reality.

✧ When someone leaves donations for a new piece of equipment, she sets it so they can choose a certain law and she recites it from memory. She has never been wrong. You wanted to buy Yanfei a better camera for her birthday but she said no. She wants to buy things for her hobby on her own.

✧ Yanfei considers it unethical to handle the affairs of her viewers. If someone introduces himself like this to her law firm, she will transfer the case to someone else. However, if these are general questions that appear on streams, she will answer them right away and quite extensively.

✧ Her Grandma - Ping sometimes comes into view. She usually brings tea or cookies. She waves to viewers but has not agreed to appear in public outside of these occasional meetings. You also stay away from your darling's youtuber work.

we're rating ships? omg. i have.... a couple. but! i will present to you the ones i think. are the most sensible. the cream of the crop if you will

kaelisa - likely more of a fwb situation than a full-on romantic relationship, but lisa is... both laid back *and* intensely headstrong about things she sees as actually important. i think that combo *may*, under certain circumstances, lead to kaeya opening up just... just a *little*. also they're. hot. godbless. xinyan/yun jin/shenhe - like two ships? make it poly! xinyan and yun jin are cute on many levels to me, with yun jin's enjoyment of xinyan's music and xinyan's quiet enjoyment of traditionally feminine things in private. also, xinyan's loud, outgoing, and positive nature would endear her further to xinyan, i'm certain. yun jin and shenhe's dynamic has already been laid out thoroughly in the jade chamber questline. that's lesbianism. to me. i also think that xinyan and shenhe would have an interesting vibe to their interactions. both are often seen as 'odd' or 'wrong' and 'scary'. i think xinyan would solidly treat shenhe as a *person* rather than falling into the adeptus/witch dichotomy that shenhe describes people falling into with her.

idk if i was supposed to argue my case but i had a lot of fun doing it o7

hmmm. yeah, i can see fwb kaeya\lisa situationship happening. idk about this leading to kaeya opening up tho. like mb? in best case scenario? idk how tho. but also lisa has her own ~manipulating u for ur own good, sweety~ streak, and kaeya already pathologically struggles to interact even with ppl he likes without mind games. im afraid this can lead to their mind games clashing and turning into manipulator vs manipulator toxic power plays that can tear like entire knights office apart. sex would be very hot tho, yeah.

i already really liked xinyan/yun jin and i agree that yun jin\shenhe interactions in archon interlude were very lesbianism. shenhe allowing yun jin to see ugly, horrible tragedy in her past that shaped her into what she sees as a monster, and yun jin making it art that says, no, you're not a monster, you were so brave and a hero, you deserve love and admiration. and them never saying it out loud, but having public opera performance while locking eyes. extremely yuri.

i never thought about xinyan\shenhe tho. hm. im thinking. my mind horizons are expanding. you know, i do think there is interesting potential. id love to see them interact on screen first, bc i dont remember it ever happening. but yeah.

Tang Yun x Hall Headcanons:

(I feel like some of these are ooc/mischaracterized I'm so sorry)

They already met before either joined the Decree because their brothers hung out a lot, but they only started to know each other after becoming shadow guards

They first met when Bardon dragged Hall to one of Lucas’ shows, and while trying to find a spot to get away from the overwhelming music and yelling, Hall found Tang Yun hiding in a secluded corner, at the brink of tears and having a huge sensory overload (one day I’ll write a fanfic about it)

They both have very cheesy but cute pet names for each other:

I've already mentioned in a post that Hall calls Yun "Angel" because of the shape of his ears, but he also calls him "Min Elskede" which means "my darling" or "my beloved" in danish

And Yun calls Hall "pudding" because he likes to say that Hall is very sweet, just like pudding

Tang Yun likes to play with Hall's hair when he's bored or as a distraction to pass thr time after missions, he always does tiny braids on it

They’re both bilingual and they're teaching each other how to speak their languages(Hall speaks Danish and Tang Yun speaks Mandarin)

When they first started dating, Leon threatened to snipe Tang Yun if he ever hurt Hall's feelings and the Xie twins, especially Yuzhi, also made similar threats towards Hall (they threatened to bury him alive if he ever fucked up)

They can't even stand next to each other without some shadow guard yelling “GET A ROOM”, it's mostly either Freddy, Jeanne or Yuzhi doing that just to annoy them

Tang Yun learned how to write in braille so he could leave little notes with loving messages scattered around Hall's apartment for him to read, Hall thinks it's really cute and he kept all the notes found so far

Hall is the only person in the SD that Yuzhi refuses to prank and if asked why, he’ll say that it's out of respect for Yun, since the two are dating (bullshit, he has seen the damage Tang Yun can do to someone who messes with Hall and he doesn't wanna risk ending up at the morgue over a prank, Yuzhi enjoy being alive with all his bones & organs intact, thank you very much!)

Tang Yun's love language is biting, no I will not elaborate

Hall learned how to make homemade chocolate pudding to surprise Yun on his birthday, or when he's having a bad week

Tang Yun is very needy and affectionate, but he's terrified of becoming annoying or a burden to Hall, so he tried his best to not be needy at all(abandonment issues does that to people, saying this from experience :D)

They crash at each other's place so often it feels like they're practically living together, they even have keys to each other's apartments:

Because of this, Hall started keeping hair products in his apartment even though he doesn't need them, they're for Yun since he comes by so often, sometimes Hall will use some of the products just because the scent is nice and reminds him of Yun

Tang Yun started keeping some of Hall's clothes and favorite action movies for a similar reason, he'll sometimes watch some movies by himself when Hall is away in a mission

The only person that can convince Hall to put on a shirt is Tang Yun and no one can change my mind

Hall started carrying noise canceling earbuds with him just in case Yun start having a sensory overload during one of their dates or in general

They're the only people in Grandis that Sander trusts enough to pet sit his cat for him, they even nicknamed the cat "Indigo"

Hall will frequently buy a random trinket and gift them to Tang Yun because it made him think of him(they're usually mini stuffed animals, mini axolotl figurines, ponpon keychains, bracelets, etc), as much as Yun thinks it's adorable and cherishes every single trinket given to him, he can't help but worry about Hall's spending habits

Tang Yun's avataras are also very affectionate to Hall, but that actually makes Yun a little jealous (this hc was inspired by "The New Guy" btw)

Hall started hanging out with the Xie twins more often because of Yun, He became their alibi whenever they did their pranks and sometimes he joins in on it as well

Tang Yun paints Hall's nails for him, they sometimes wear matching nails

I re-read your cat Lin Kuei fic and it got me thinking. Bi Han could be a Pallas cat, Kuai Liang is a Ginger Tabby and Tomas is a Black-footed cat!

Oh I never thought about that to be honest!! Do you think it would be good to have colored collars for them to identify who is who.

Also, should Bi Han be a menace cat and knock stuff down and ruined Raiden’s chances to ask his sister Yun Jin (reader) out on small dates.

Part two will be delayed for a bit so I’m sorry for the inconvenience. But I think Bi Han would fit as a black cat since he gives that same energy vibe. Bro hisses at everyone and is a menace.

I can imagine him having beef with Tomas but is a big softy towards his little sister who may or may not put cute bows and clips on him. Bi Han is a moody kitty as he loves to be a menace.

The CAT-Astrophe story series will be soon work on, I just recently finish a family issue that was very stressful and nerve wrecking for me. Sorry for the delay and inconvenience, I have been catching up on some sleep because on how mentally exhausted I was with everything.

I started brainstorming and writing down my new remastered version of Babysitting 101. It will have some lore and a good storyline but it will take me some time to plan in the meantime.

My favorite K-Drama Couples 2023- Spring 2024

NOTE: I tried to include 2022 but my list got too long :)

Moving (Bong-Seok & Hee-Soo, Joo-Won & Hye-Won & Doo-Shik & Mi-Hyun): It's very obvious by this list how much I love this drama and how many blorbo-from-my-shows it created for me. And I know I'm only reviewing couples, but I was blown away by this drama. I don't even LIKE superhero shows, but I made an exception for this one and I'm so glad I did. If you like character development and plays on good vs. evil, I highly rec this! Bong-Seok and Hee-Soo are one of my favorite couples EVER and I loved the softness and epic romance of Joo-Won & Hye-Won. (And we all know that scene at the rainy window with Bong-Seok and Hee-Soo). These couples are really EVERYTHING.

Tale of the Nine Tailed: 1938 (Lee-rang & Yeo-Hee): This is the only time I've ever watched a season two and liked it better than season one. It's probably because it featured my favorite tragic half fox Lee Rang and gave him a love line with a mermaid. The two are SO sweet together---SOB!

Tell me That You Love Me (Mo-Eun & Jin-Woo): Wow. Maybe one of the softest couples I've ever seen in existence. Just watching them together was like a warm blanket in front of a cozy fireplace. I didn't like the ending choice which is a shame, but the drama was super well done and I still think people should watch it. There is also a very cute high school couple too!

The Eighth Sense (Jae-Won & Ji Hyun): not to be dramatic (just kidding!) this is the best bl kdrama I've ever seen. Literally this is it! I don't even want to tell you about the couple because I want you to just watch it! I'm dying for the writer to make another one because we need more queer media like this one!

Crash Course In Romance (Haeng-Seon & Chi-Yeol): Give me a noona romance featuring a man who has not felt warmth in 1000 years (ok not literally but this dude needs to have a warm meal made by an amazing lady!) This drama fell apart at the end (this seems to be a theme this year) but the couple makes it worth watching.

King The Land (Gu-Won & Sa-Rang): If you're looking for a low stakes, totally fluffy, rom com with TONS of chemistry (featuring MY BIAS!), King the Land is for you. Amazing skinship, kisses and just like a really fun duo to watch. Plot? Not so much but there are a billion good moments-- just look at the tags: They are full of cuteness.

Love After Divorce Season 4 (Benita & Jerome): Listen, I know I'm cheating by putting a reality tv show on this list but if you're in the mood for one, I highly recommend this season (it's on Netflix). Benita and Jerome will steal your heart and they are still together! I'm rooting for them. <3

See you in my 19th Life (Ji-Eum & Seo-Ha, Da-Hoon & Cho-Won): My bias Shin Hye Sun kills it in this drama featuring past life romance. Honestly it's not fair because this drama is totally my vibe so I'm obviously going to love the mains. But when a drama gives you more than one love line and they are both interesting and lovely?? Chef's Kiss!

Dr. Slump (Jeong-Woo & Ha-Neul): This drama TOTALLY fell apart at the end and left us all very disappointed, but that's not because our leads weren't a perfect couple! They bonded over mental illness and even took their meds together. Communication: check. Comfort/Healing: check. Chemistry: check!

The Story of Park's Marriage Contract (Yun-Woo & Tae-Ha). You probably don't know this but I've been following Bae In Hyuk's career since we was in silly little web dramas. Seeing him as a lead is really wild! To be fair, he's not nearly the actor that Lee Se Young is, but do we care about that when there's a time slip romance drama featuring a historical lady who's been thrown into the future and has to fake marry someone who looks just like her de*d husband for reasons??
