ok so I’m seeming some cold takes about the Hunger Games prequel being titled in the new ya format as “a blank of blank and blank” but I gotta say it 100% makes sense with Lucy Gray’s backstory and the Covey. Maybe the title was formatted like this to be more marketable in the current ya environment but rest assured it’s every bit as meaningful as the original series and not at all a cash grab. Music and songs were a huge theme in the Hunger Games and Katniss’s story and you can really see why the powers that be hate them in the Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes
