Flux Is On (TUNIC [2022])

This is a game I watched a Twitch stream of, clearly one of those games that, given my oddly specific taste in games, is more enjoyable to watch than play, and so I watched a whole playthrough worth of streams rather than playing it for myself, but boy was the time watching it incredibly fun, as well as pleasant in aesthetic!

This track gives me a comfortable atmosphere like a mysterious but peaceful place to rest in, one that might even be called futuristic! That being said, it’s actually for a secret room to change your appearance, so its music seems to take on more of a secret fashion show feel! So much echo-y effects to appreciate as well, it makes a normally generic happy track that much more special.

If you want another adventure game as puzzle-focused in design philosophy as the very 1st Legend of Zelda, right down to strikingly similar artstyles in their manuals plus difficult puzzles, this game is made for you, without a single doubt in my mind!

Xbox Live and gold is the biggest ripoff ever. So I share an account kind of with my friend so we both get Xbox live gold and game pass. He couldn't afford it this month, so it expired. Here's the weird part. He still had gold. He was buying Game Pass which included gold, so how Game Pass could expire but he still had gold is confusing. Here's where it's even more confusing. The games I bought, the games I fucking owned, in no form can I play online. However, the games I got for free, the games that are micro transitions, pay as you go, etc, I can play online. What the fuck. Seriously what the fuck. You're telling me I get more out of the game that I got for free than the ones I spent actual fucking cash on? Burn in hell microsoft. I hope Bill Gates dies now. I mean I always hoped he die, but now I hope a little faster. And I know he doesn't even have really any influence on Xbox and stuff, I just hope he dies. He's a bad mother fucker. This just made me more motivated.

I just learned how technology companies lie to you & blame you (and have your whole life)....

Xbox. Xbox live (because you MUST play to use the internet beyond paying for the internet because capitalism.)

It started fucking up, bad, when gaming with a friend in dead island 2. It's done this before over the years. It's usually their servers*. They say too many people online but when it's a fucking wednesday night, the answer is no. Fuck off with that.

Slowly, the system seems to be working ok....but...having issues in chat rooms and connecting in games all of a sudden. We can game, but not together. WTF. Friend signs off, out of irritation. I go to play some games and try to stream.

First it says high packet. I do a test. 100% high packet. I look it up. Shit tons of people, over the years, have had it. NONE seem to have a REAL solution (restart everything is the default, people). It just HAPPENS. WTF. There's a reason for everything...

Then when I try again, it says MY (ME. MINE) privacy settings may be to constrictive and I need to change them. WTF AGAIN!!! Either YOU fucked with my settings OR you fucked up the system, period.

ANY time there is an outage of ANY service (internet, cell, streaming service, online games, etc), you should get a refund. Even if it is fucking pennies. Better you than these conglomerates that rule our lives!!!!!!

Think about it: how many times, software or hardware, of a device you were using FUCKS UP OUT OF NO WHERE< then blames YOU or something you did for the break, to literally be a lawyer and dissuade you from blaming the manufacturer?

*I use a site along the lines of 'is it down' . com or some bs. It said about...20 minutes before we had fuck ups, reports of issues went from 0 to 16k. My friend checked xbox.com and said they reported no issues and I said to him (literally) 'That's also why you don't go to cops and ask them how many bullets they fired. They have reason to lie/.'

Doing considerably better with my Covid recovery. Still have a cough, throat still sometimes hurts after sleeping, but my body seems to be doing well otherwise. Been playing Animal Crossing and Super Mario Sunshine, and working on some new art, too! My family’s Xbox One has been crapping out for a while, so I've been wanting to get us an Xbox One X (with the disc drive). I'm hoping the newer model will work better for Minecraft and stuff, and I want to be able to run that new S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 game when it comes out. (I just hope it doesn't suck, as there are some very big douchey "AAA" red flags about the new game...)
