Not to be touch starved on main but I’d sell one of my kidneys for a h*g.
#Only like two people in my friend group can drive (and one of them works too so we'd have to find a time that works for both)#So usually if I wanna meet anyone I'd have to take the train/bus bc none of them lives in my village either#Which. Y'know. Is currently not necessarily the smartest idea.#Considering covid number are rising and my 80+ y/o grandpa lives next door and if he has computer issues I'll be the one to go over and help#And he won't even get the FIRST shot before April. (If I'm SERIOUSLY lucky I might get mine in late July/early August)#(But if I'm not it might take till next year)#And while mom *is* vaccinated with her workplace there'd be serious issues if there WAS a breakout and like. Risk is tiny anyway but.#Better to keep it as tiny as possible#I met one close friend around New Year's and my best friend like two weeks ago. That's it that's all face to face contact I had with friends#this year#Like I know I'm lucky bc I live at home so I have my family rather than being alone but. I really miss my friends.#Plus it's like. Vaguely frustrating too bc when I moved from like Bavaria to Hamburg last year I was soo EXCITED that I'd FINALLY be close#to where all my friends are so I could finally meet them more often than like once every couple months!!!!! ... yeah so much about that huh#But while I was studying at least when I visited I'd meet them several times and usually all of them#But now...?#(to be exact i miss the hugs of the friend whom I saw at New Year's specifically. he gives great hugs 10/10 would recommend.)#I have to go to the city at some point soon-ish anyway once the book I pre-ordered finally gets to the book store so I can pick it up#And IF she has time then I can meet one of my friends I haven't seen since uhhhh. December?#(and if we're allowed to meet at all. a few weeks ago you couldn't meet ANYONE in that city bc they had a huge breakout.)#(the numbers are down from then but. who knows.)#(like I'm not too worried about meeting One Friend but public transport...)#(Knowing that people are often Not Good about wearing their masks correctly... would rather not do that too often lmao)

law school ep 15 (and solhwi overall)
gonna put in my two cents for the line that singlehandedly caused the solhwi nation to implode.
(apologies in advanced because my thoughts are too messy for me to neatly put it in a post but i want to say it anyway—also this is just the way i view solhwi so please don't come screaming at me if you disagree!)
i'm a diehard solhwi shipper and i love their relationship, and think they have one of the best relationships out there in the fictional world, and also definitely one of the healthiest. but to me, their relationship extends far beyond the romantic relationships we so often see portrayed in media.
kim beom said in one interview that this relationship between HJH and KS is kin to that of a soulmate relationship that's not necessarily romance, and i find myself agreeing with that notion. while soulmates are typically used to describe romantic partnerships, it doesn't necessarily have to start with romance. (many people have pointed this out in other posts so i won't go further down the fact that HJH x KS's relationship is a friends-to-lovers slow burn but you get me.)
but in fact, this bond between soulmates (or at least how i define it), in my opinion, is far beyond what we usually see in romance. as in, it's not just someone you like, but it's someone whose changed your life in a certain way. i know some may be averse to the idea of having to change for the one you love because loving is the notion of accepting someone in spite of the person's flaws, but what i mean is that when you love someone in this way, you want to change because of them. you see them, and they inspire you, and you grow in your own way. once again—growth is a very subjective idea, and even for HJH and KS we can see them grow in different directions—but we can clearly see how they have impacted each others' lives.
it's quite obvious, imo, how KS's life has been impacted by HJH's. she's,, not the "smartest" out there, and we can't deny that. we know she probably won't make it through law school if not for HJH's help. HJH is always there, a step ahead of KS, but he's not just being proud about it, instead opting to help her understand what the laws are and why they are the way they are, which KS especially needs, being a particularly empathic person. but we've also seen that HJH has helped KS beyond simply academics. he's always been there to protect her—almost all their interactions have proven that (the camera outside her house, the hungover soup, the switching seats—i think literally everything?..?..?.??). maybe she doesn't necessarily need protection, but surely thanks to his protection she's much better than she might've been without, especially knowing her terribly miserable life.
but i often wonder why HJH is so heart-eyes of KS of all people. i mean, i know love is love and sometimes you just catch feelings, but i believe there's more meaning behind their relationship than meets the eye. like you don't just look at someone so lovingly for it to be just a crush, y'know? the first reason that comes to mind is clearly simply KS's amicable personality. she definitely stands out: she's not that intelligent, struggling and barely surviving, but she has insane passion to pull through even despite truth attacks (like SJH saying she should reconsider her life decisions, saying that a chance of passing isn't something to be proud of, etc). she treats everything with such a positive outlook, and, well, KS is just an adorable human, so it's hard not to have a little crush her.
what makes KS stand out most, the core of her personality, is that she has hope, despite everything. she's been through shit because of her circumstances—left by her twin sister without a word, been in juvie, has no money to deal with it—you know, entire backstory. but instead she fights her weakness, even though she feel like it should've been her sister, even though she's not smart enough, because she has to do this. she keeps going, even though things keep turning out for the worse for her, holding hope when circumstances are most dire. but why? because she strives for justice. she doesn't want to be wronged. she wants the law to own up its mistakes, wants to make sure the law gets its own revenge. that's why she wants to work in law, yeah? and so she keeps fighting, even when hope seems lost.
okay but why did i mention this? because i think this is what HJH sees in KS. why? because this is what he needs.
HJH had lost hope. in an episode (i don't remember which), he mentioned he doesn't trust anyone, and it's obvious why: his uncle. it's the worst kind of betrayal that causes your ideals being burned down. he realized that even people who work in law can be corrupt, people who he thought he could trust above all others, people who seemed utterly good. and then he just begins to regard everyone with baseline amity, and no further. many have pointed out he doesn't have real friends (other than KS), even though he looks outgoing and friendly. it's not quite shown, but it must've been lonely. and a lonely fight, trying to prove that he will be a better prosecutor than his uncle was. and we know that HJH's nature as a person is to be calculating, objective, seeing things through facts and statistics; it's what makes him so intelligent. what that also makes him is realistic, and more often than not, that is almost equal to pessimistic—because reality just... sucks, as has been proven by the betrayal of his uncle. and further into the drama we see only more corrupt people in the business, so we certainly don't get out hopes fueled.
there's scarcely anyone in what we see who's actually pursuing law because they're passionate about the law, or if they are, they're not often very... human in doing it. examples: YJH, SJH, KSB are all very cold and indifferent types, people who really just come and do what they do, focus on studies (in the case of YJH, his teaching), and interactions with others are treated as "lesser". SJH and KSB in particular—they're good at the law, sure, but they seem to prioritize their position in law first and foremost. SJH and KSB don't hesitate to call out their losses, and even would rather not intervene for justice if it meant their position would be compromised. not that they're bad characters, not at all; i mentioned them simply to compare them to KS, who, despite not having the brains to do half the things she's supposed to do and earning herself nosebleeds everytime she tries, still does what she does for justice, passionately, hopefully, all for righteousness.
okay this was longer than i intended WHEW so i'll cut to the chase: long story short, HJH needs KS because KS gives him hope. hope of a humanity where people actually work in law and choose to fight for justice against all odds, even if the system itself is infiltrated by filth and corruption. KS is someone who, in her first lecture, was grilled the fuck out by Yangcrates, yet the first thing she does after she nearly throws her guts out is ask HJH whether he can tutor her. she does not ever lose hope, and that, truly, is what stands out to HJH, what he needs.
and KS needs HJH because he is her hope as well! hope by itself does no good if you can't actually do something about it, and KS knows this. HJH, despite seemingly just being someone to help her in her studies, is someone she needs if she wants to achieve her goals, if she wants to get back on the law the right way. which is why, in the end, KS and HJH are, while independent in their own way, dependent on each other in terms of their growth—KS gives HJH hope in humanity, HJH helps KS realize (make real) her hopes that would have been dreams if not for her.
oh my god i've rambled on this long without stating my point: THE DAMN LINE.
HJH saying he owes her makes sense in this light because, indeed, KS's positive outlook in everything keeps him going. it gives him a reason to keep wanting to work in law, because she is a reason to believe in goodness and justice, that there will be people who keep fighting for justice against all odds. he owes this to her—and perhaps that is why he goes all out to help her achieve that hope, perhaps that's why he goes out of his way to care for her. because they are each other's missing puzzle piece, the other half. soulmates.
sigh ok this was long ONE FINAL POINT. everyone has their own opinion on a solwhi ending, so i might as well chip in mine.
certainly, as a solhwi shipper, i want them to end up together. i believe they're really the best of soulmates, two people who just complement each other so well. but in the current timeline, them having a romantic relationship out of the blue would be,,, simply unnecessary, imo. they're still very much in the stage of friendship, and are both dealing with their own personal baggage, that shoving a romance would just take away the focus from their growth. i personally think even this platonic relationship is already a beautiful one, one that outshines many of the romances i've watched, even without having to flood everything under the romance light—which i think many can agree with me, seeing as how solhwi is shipped so much. i still want to see them end up together, though, so SEASON TWO LAW SCHOOL MANIFESTATION. please please please directors writers make it happen i am begging you. thank you.
sorry for this long ass post, thank you if you do read it and leave any thoughts! again this is just my opinion, you're free to let me know if you think differently or anything, or shoot me a message if you want to scream about solhwi or whatever i'm just solhwi brainrot 24/7 🤸🏻‍♀️

y'know i think its about time ive refurbished my psychonauts headcanons/theories
what??? me??? rewriting my psychonauts headcanons in a more comprehensible and informed way???
ye
alright, i think everyone knows what im talking about, by headcanons i mean headcanon as in singular, and as singular, i mean my "raz is somewhere on the spectrum of adhd".
so lets just get into it:
what is adhd actually?
adhd by definition stands for attention deficit hyperactive/hyperfocus disorder (yes, let me get into the details in just a sec). it is a nerodevelopmental disorder that is almost completely reliant on genetic factors, however conditions during pregnancy can sometimes contribute to certain aspects of how adhd manifests itself.
long story short, people with adhd have a smaller frontal lobe, and therefore less dopamine in general (even though yes, it is more complicated than that).
theres also a little bit of "chicken or the egg first" goin on here, certain behaviors or personality tendencies can also affect how adhd is presented in one individual to the next, however its still not clear if that is because it is an accommodating for a certain thought process or if someones experiences and personality shape their symptoms of adhd entirely. its a very blurry line, and the answer is different for everybody.
hyperactive type
hyperactive type is probably the closest to most stereotypical depictions of adhd, think the 5 year old whos parents brush off their child’s hyperactivity as something that will “go with age”. however, this isn’t only present in children, adults with adhd have to deal with a constant need for stimuli to make up for the lack of dopamine their current activity is providing them. this results in someone fidgeting frequently in repetitive or predictable motions, unable to hold attention to a specific task for long periods of time, or many other of the symptoms associated with adhd.(i sadly cannot provide more information in this area, i am not knowledgeable enough to...)
hyperfocus type
hyperfocus type is a tricky one, it can look like the complete opposite of adhd in theory. hyperfocus can look similar to special interests or hyperfixation, a great deal of time and knowledge dedicated to a very particular thing (although it is important to note that even though hyperfixations and special interests are incredibly similar, special interests is a term more typically used within autistic-circles, and isnt really the best word to use if you happen to be neurotypical). Think of maybe that kid who knows all the cool animal facts and won’t shut up about them. Its because certain trains of thought or activities might release more dopamine then others, so to get more of that dopamine, someone of hyperfocus type will be mentally unable to stop thinking or doing a very specific task or topic. this results in someone seemingly always spacing out, unable to change subjects or changing subjects too fast or with little to no correlation, or being completely unable to have enough motivation to do simple things.
personally i tend to fall under the category of hyperfocus myself rather than hyperactive, however the two are not mutually exclusive, its more common to find people with both types rather than just one. even myself, i might exhibit more tendencies to place me under the label of hyperfocus, but that doesn’t mean i don’t have any symptoms of the hyperactive type. its my personality that affects my mannerisms, which then makes certain aspects of my symptoms more or less apparent. Thats because im an INTP-T, i just tend to be more to myself and constantly in a state of thinking abstractly. I have trouble communicating and even sometimes recognizing my needs, and get to a point where im unable to do the simplest of things without feeling emotionally drained. Thats just my experience though, everybodys different.
so what the fuck does this have to do with raz then?
well lets think about it, rather than have it just be me projecting myself onto a comfort character:
raz finds issue with connecting to kids his age
lets be honest. none of the campers really like raz that much. or at least some do the bare minimum to be try and be polite. it doesn’t seem like any of the other campers besides dogen, whos also socially outcasted, are really fond of raz. lili might like him, but that can definitely be interpreted as curiosity in someone new and different from the norm. It might not be that the kids despise him, but nobodys opinionated enough to care whether he is around or not.
social isolation is one of the most damning things i had to experience from an early age and still feel even today. there is a sense of feeling that you are different among your peers, whether that is a good thing or bad thing. it feels difficult to interact with other people you are not familiar with, and can really stunt you emotionally and socially. from a really early age, theres somethin in you that knows something is very different between the experiences of your peers compared to your own, and it can feel incredibly isolating.
raz and his borderline stupidity
time to get real again. raz is a fucking idiot. at least in the sense that sometimes his decisions seem incredibly spontaneous and not really thought through. he runs from home to attend a summer camp, not really thinking about the logistics of how he will get there, how the staff will react, how long its gonna take for his parent to find him, and so on. it doesn’t seem like he over or underestimates his abilities, he just goes for it without considering. that doesnt seem like the smartest thing to do, even though we know hes incredibly intelligent when it comes to larger, abstract situations. its the little details that he misses, small minuet things that seem unimportant that he overlooks, which can sometimes make things harder for him in the end.
i think its obvious that impulsivity is one symptom of adhd. however i cannot stress how difficult it is to think at supersonic speed and still feel incredibly stupid. i mean, thinking faster doesn’t inherently mean you will have better ideas, you can always be stupider faster, but being able to realize stupid mistakes or inconsistencies in your own thought process is annoying as hell. it feels like every time you try to recognize the issue, fix it, and move forward, you only end up not paying attention to another issue that gets bigger and more annoying than the first. Its always two steps forward, one step back, constantly making the same mistakes even though you try everything in your power to avoid them or grow as a person. The simplest of facts, ideas, or just things to remember end up being forgotten, and once youre reminded of them you remember them and feel like an idiot. however, arbitrary things and complex issues are much easier to digest and remember for me, things like history and the whole blame game charade of it all, biology and how every minuet thing has a greater impact on others and intertwines with every single factor of its environment, philosophy and theorizing why we think the way we do and what can be changed. but oh shit, im a dumbass i forgot to do my laundry. shit. god fuckin dammit.
empathy over sympathy
one of the basic themes of psychonauts is empathy. simple as that. raz goes around into other peoples brains, and tries to help them as much as he can, even if his efforts are not always successful in the way he intended. he never demonizes anyone to the point of unredeemability, and can empathize and understand other peoples perspectives. hes open to new ideas and
although some studies out there theorize that empathy is impaired due to adhd, from my perspective i feel like that is simply not true. if anything, i would say the sensitivity that comes with adhd (hypersensitivity) only enhances that empathy. i could definitely see social disconnection being one of the reasons it might appear that someone with adhd is less empathetic, however i would doubt that adhd would impair a persons empathy. adhd tends to also entail heightened emotions, this doesn’t necessarily mean a more outwardly emotional person, however it definitely shifts a persons perspective of their own emotions as well as others. the concept of hypersensitivity also completely contradicts the idea of people with adhd be less empathetic.
miscommunication and disconnect
sigh, the dad thing. yup. raz has that very iffy relationship with his dad at the beginning of the game which is eventually resolved. very abruptly, might i add. but thats not what this is about, thats a topic for another day. miscommunication seemed to be the root of the issue, however we only get razs side of the story. not to mention the severity of his claims and willingness to seemingly drop everything afterwards. kinda sus, ngl.
alright this ones a doosey. this, i feel, cements my theory pretty well. like i mentioned before, social disconnect and hypersensitivity are side effects of the symptoms of adhd.  this means people with adhd are highly more likely to either misinterpret someones words or actions if those in question are not completely transparent, its because they tend to overthink and interpenetrate responses with too much thinkin n such. the social disconnect makes a whole lot of it worse, it can just pile on top of already established feelings of inadequacy and isolation. and oversharing as a poor coping mechanism isnt an exclusively adhd related thing, it tends to be shared within similar neruodevelopmental disorders such as autism or even ptsd. i find it incredibly easy to disconnect myself from my own emotions at times and think critically at what i feel and how it affects me. which is a bad thing. if i dont acknowledge my emotions like they are my own for too long, everything falls apart. its not fun. but, that disconnect can make talking about certain more traumatic experiences or instances that had deep personal effects on my life and development as a person much easier to just share. and not always in an appropriate manner, comedic opportunity can be   v  e  r  y   enticing. this also explains why raz might have been able to drop everything about his dad after he apologized. he didn’t really, he probably still suffers just as much afterwards as he did before. but he probably wont realize that for awhile, since logically, the issue has been resolved. long story short, he has not had the time to cope, and to put that off he detaches himself from those feelings. w a c k
of course i have other reasons why i feel like raz could potentially have adhd, or at least be accurately represented in headcanon with adhd, some minor mentions being:
he uses his camp map as a journal to track his in-game progress, list of goals, and notes/snip-its of information. writing down information on some form of notepad or book is a common tool used by kids and even adults with adhd to help them keep track of minuet, individual tasks. its just using a planner, but with a bit more information.
just from my personal perspective, the lengths raz goes to pursue his dream of being a psychonaut feel more like a special interest/hyper fixation sort of thing. he can jump between having genuine conversations with his fellow campers and just exploring the campground, to investing himself entirely in obtaining his goal, even when it seems almost impossible. thats some serious dedication to one very specific thing, y’know?
this one isnt as solid as the other but: m̶̖̰̯̫̍͝o̵̦͖̟͈̹̤̥̝͐̿̄̀̀̎̓ņ̶̛̭̠̐̊̆̍͝ķ̸̝͈̺̙̰̊e̶͉͚̼̅̔͗̂͐̍̕͝͝y̶̦̖̼͖̪͎̝̖̠̐̑͋̾̔̑́͐͘ ̵̢̲̘͎͉̔̀͒̄͌͊̀͌̀m̴̲̫̮̪̖̍̐͆̕͜͝ͅả̶͙͚͗n̶̗̳̩̙̘̼̦̦͇͝ ̷̡̨̡͔̗͕̘͍̥̑͒̎̐̃g̴͔̔̈̅̐̏́̌̔̈́́o̶̥̱̽̆̂͌̀͗ ̶̝̩͙͕͛́s̴̛͓̥̲̜͓͚̣̠̆̓̌͌p̶̜̹̯̦̫̯̣̎͐̽̉̾ḙ̴͇̬͑̈́̐̈́͘͠ͅȅ̶̡̗̞̩͔̫̪͈͑̓͗d̵̠͇͎̜͔͇͒̈́́̀̅̈́̒͘y̸̡̦̠̻̖̥̿ͅ. yeah, its the most generalizing reason but look, hes moving nonstop the entire game, climbing and running around the entire goddamn place wrecking havoc. a bit of imp can be found in most people with adhd if you look hard enough.
so thanks for reading this far i guess? im oversharing even right now with this, like an i d i o t but yknow what i dont want to read the great gatsby rn, so ive got nothin better to do. who knows, maybe the second game will give us more info to either support/discredit this theory? gotta wait for pn2 i guess
:^)

🐺 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝖂𝖊𝖗𝖊𝖜𝖔𝖑𝖛𝖊𝖘
pt.2
Hello this is (not) JYPE
Welcome to what my beibe delphine came up with as Moonlit Monday, otherwise known as admins abo tmi or "𝖂𝖊𝖗𝖊𝖜𝖔𝖑𝖛𝖊𝖘, 𝖜𝖔𝖑𝖛𝖊𝖘 and basic shit you should know before interacting I guess~"! Before we continue please like and subs- no before we continue I thought I would just mention you do not have to read if you don't want to lol these are mostly info for my rp's, these posta are not regular things but if you want to be tagged you can tell me and I'll make sure to @ u bc I'm lazy rn, remember these are long af considering I try to cover as many bases as I can, and also:
*Disclaimer: all the information this post contains will be based on things I’ve learned over the years and my personal modifications are NOT to be taken as the general rule. This is MY abo concept for this bot in particular. Yall are free to agree, disagree, take ideas, adapt to your own bot, etcetcetc. Bye.
In today's episode, I'll present y'all with some things you may not care about but I wanna go over with anyway because they seem to be compleeeetely ignored on my dm's and they're well IMPORTANT y'know as I run a WEREWOLF BOT ehem shall we begin
Werewolves abilities.
Packs and hierarchy.
🌙 𝖂𝖊𝖗𝖊𝖜𝖔𝖑𝖛𝖊𝖘 𝕬𝖇𝖎𝖑𝖎𝖙𝖎𝖊𝖘...
To begin with, I'd like to go through some basics of wolves' abilities. As always, let's take a small trip back in time and remember what kind of characteristics and traits people believed were supposedly "common" on werewolves. It was said unibrows, excess body hair, and certain facial features were enough to identify a human who was a werewolf (let's also remember it was believed that most humans *didn't* know they were werewolves, as the "beast" only came out on full moons and it was it's own being within the person). It was also thought that the easiest way to identify which wolf was a werewolf was the abnormal size, the very human-like eyes they carried, and the absence of a tail (if you're familiar with witches you'll know this was common on witches who took on animal forms to hide from witch hunters. they lacked tails, just as believed in werewolves. this goes back to the connection with demonic magic and stuff for some reason. anywho most magical creatures associated with hell and demonic powers seem to share v v weird traits jsnwjwj).
Anyway, if so many of these traits seem to differ from culture to culture, something we can still see in most -and almost every magical creature- is the abilities they have. These usually are speed, strength, healing, and hearing.
Now, if you're kind enough to read over here, I'll proceed to elaborate on some of my wolves magical abilities
Sharpened senses: All the wolves, regardless of their position and hierarchy, have extremely sharpened senses. This means all, their sight, smell, hearing, taste, and touch have developed over the centuries. Their sight is good enough to see with barely any light, very useful considering wolves used to live in the woods rather than the city. Their sense of smell allows them to sense preys miles away and everything in their surroundings. They can pick up changes in weather, in one's emotions, chemistry, and even pick up scent trails very easily if they know exactly what they're looking for. Alongside their hearing, these two traits make catching them off guard and surprising them really hard if they're in alert mode. Their hearing is fine enough to hear your heartbeat and recognize it easily, think about that. If so their taste and touch are also weirdly overdeveloped, the only real advantage is recognizing anything that might be poisonous for them and changes in temperatures. There are no other advantages known as of now.
Strength: like many other magical creatures, werewolves are known to be naturally stronger than your average human. Their strength may vary according to their physical condition, range (alpha, beta, omega), and the belonging to a pack or not. Alphas are naturally the strongest, their power being hardly matched during full and special moons if they happen to have packs. Betas and Omegas are hard to classify. Betas could be weak and Omegas can easily take on them 1:1. Betas are their strongest in groups.
Speed, agility, and stamina: not much to say, they just fast puppies, v smart and never get tired JSNSJSJS. Regardless they're just fast enough to hunt and escape. If you put a wolf next to a vampy they're DONE FOR. Wolves are naturally buff, their metabolism is fast and it's easy to gain muscle so their agility, even if better than the average human, isn't as good as other creatures.
Healing: Their healing is the most important of their abilities. Wolves have regenerative abilities that allow them to overcome any wound or sickness in days or even hours. It's very hard for a wolf to actually get sick unless they're around something that is naturally capable of weakening them. There are only some creatures with the ability to hurt them badly and potentially cause death if their wounds aren't treated. If their healing seems compromised in any way, other of their abilities will be affected too since the wolf will naturally give up power to that one action only. Healing is survival.
Power: Wolves, even if not capable of magic on their own, are still magical creatures. Their power may vary, alphas being capable of taking magic and giving more of their essence better than others. Wolf fur, blood, etc can be very useful for potions or ceremonies, spells, etc.
Bonds: bonds only happen when an alpha wolf claims someone as part of their pack. these bonds are useful to sense when someone is in danger, troubled, or even simply to locate them easily. bonds only happen after a special ceremony between both the alpha and the pack member and even though it could be done between a wolf and non wolf/humans, these are very dangerous and could be fatal.
Specific characteristics: these are some specific leans and modifications I've given my boys and packs when I plotted them. I never really got to elaborate on them because I don't have many fantastic or magic scenarios, but I think it's important to point them out and they'll probably be elaborated on their stories someday.
The longer a pack has been around, the stronger and resistant the wolves coming from them are, evolution helping them survive better on new worlds.
Chris has a magic lean. His pack has been around for centuries, probably the first one to ever step foot on those woods-. It's weird to have a magic lean, wolves are taught to not interact with anything outside their nature, but it can happen. Chris is resistant to most kinds of magic. Spells have barely any effect on him. This is an evolutionary trait of him only.
Chan has nature/earth lean. It's very curious, considering he's in no way interested in such things, but one of Chan's specific traits is to connect with the earth. Almost on a nymph-like level. Chan is capable of not only growing very weird plants, such as medicinal ones, but he can also connect with the nature around him. It's hard to explain, but it's almost as if nature "spoke" to him, making it easier to locate things he might need and avoid getting lost.
Channie has a celestial lean. This does not mean he has a lean towards angels or heaven or anything alike but instead, is related with celestial bodies. The sky, sun, moon, stars, planets. This might be the reason why he tends to sleep much during the day and be up at night, naturally being driven to connect with the night sky above. If so Channie's abilities related to this aren't very clear, it's easy to notice his mood swings and abilities affinity vary depending on the time of the month, the lunar cycle, and planets alignments. He's the most sensitive, which's believed to be related to this lean too. He hasn't explored it much, but he's noticed the stars always seem to point him the right way.
Weaknesses (notice, these won't necessarily KILL them, but they can harm/be lethal/weaken them): silver (in any form), heaven/hell forged weapons, alpha wounds (for lower ranks), magic; plants such as wolfbane, mistletoe, anything grown in heaven/hell; mountain ash; lunar eclipses; fire.
🌙 𝕻𝖆𝖈𝖐𝖘 𝖆𝖓𝖉 𝕳𝖎𝖊𝖗𝖆𝖗𝖈𝖍𝖞...
Some of you might or not know that in real life, a pack's alpha is chosen after all the males in said pack -or those who want to overthrow the current leader- fight each other and one comes out victorious. This is done to show their dominance and capability. You can see it in dog packs, wolves, lions, etc.
Generally, alphas will be of the biggest, strongest, and smartest wolves on the pack, the other members are classified as the betas, the followers, and any of them has the capability of being the new leader if they prove themselves to the pack. Omegas are a different story, they aren't really a classification on their own, scientifically speaking. The definition of omegas varies from those who are weak and could never be dominant, to those who are loners and don't fit or simply chose to be alone, to those who are caregivers, usually being females who take care of cubs.
It's common for omegas in ABO and omegaverse to be considered the smallest wolves, who can't fight, mate only with alphas, and are just your average stereotypical sub; and for alphas to be the biggest, sometimes eldest members, usually portrayed as big, buff, strong dudes.
On my concept, the first thing I need you to remember is that the wolves present at a certain age (14-16) according to how they've grown up, been raised, and what they're truly capable of. This is how the hierarchy works and it does NOT in ANY WAY connect to their sexual preferences. There's also no way to go higher than what you are. Once you present as something, you can only go down. A beta can never be an alpha, but an alpha can turn into an omega.

Alphas are made to lead. Being alpha doesn't only mean being the head of a pack, but they're responsible for everything that goes down. An alpha's duty is to make sure their packs have a safe territory, make sure to keep good links with other packs and hunters in the area, make sure to educate the members on the history of the species, help out with ruts and heats, keep everyone safe, train new wolves, teach survival skills, self-control, they make themselves responsible for any trouble the pack may cause, they make hard calls, etc. Being alpha is way more than being big, buff, and scary. It's about being capable of running a small community in the best and most beneficial way for everyone.
Alphas are made to lead, shape, protect, and serve. This is why most packs, once someone presents as an alpha, take them away for "training".
You can be a born alpha or present like one unexpectedly. Born alphas tend to be natural leaders, always taking charge of situations, protecting others, putting more weight on their shoulders than anyone else.

Betas, as usual, are the ones with the average traits. They're members of packs, they can be on teaching duty, guard duty, caregiver duty. The importance of betas is bringing unity and strength. The more united a pack is, all betas and their leader, the stronger the wolves are.

The omega concept on my bot is a mix of loner and caregiver concepts. This means an omega can be or is both, a wolf without a pack and also a wolf with a lean to look after others. This is pretty much logical if you look at the conditions in which a wolf ends up being an omega. Another characteristic is that my omegas aren't weak or small. They are more at risk? Of course. Are they easy prey for hunters? Definitely. But on a 1:1 fight, an omega like Chris could easily take on a beta, for example. Omegas are forced to be alone and survive on their own when naturally they should be supported by a pack, therefore omegas can not be weak, but instead develop strength and agility as survival mechanisms.
Presented omegas: A presented omega is someone who lost their pack before they got to present. Lost can mean the pack was killed off, the pack kicked the wolf out, or simply that the wolf didn't fit in the pack they were born, therefore always being an outcast. This kind of omegas present as such because they never had the preparation or education to be betas and function in a pack, as they're usually pushed aside or alone.
Forced omegas: Any transformed wolf, kicked out of pack wolf or wolf forced out of their position AFTER presenting ages can turn into an omega temporarily. An alpha forced to be an omega by being overthrown can still create a new pack and regain its status. Betas can also regain their status if they find a new pack to belong to.
Chris is a presented omega.

The importance of packs is, as mentioned in the Betas section, to keep unity and make individual wolves stronger. But also, what are packs? A pack is a community and the center of a wolve's life. Packs are the groups of people wolves are surrounded by since birth, they're as united as a family and are essential for the correct development of a wolf. They're essential to learn shifting, control, abilities, to develop proper social skills, learn techniques to hold the inner wolf at bay. If you're familiar with basic psychology, you'll know how important direct family and the inner circle is for a person to grow up and be, you know, a functional member of society. Packs are this inner circle, all of them.
If you're not welcome by everyone, a crack happens. A crack in a pack is dangerous, this means unity, respect, and trust are being jeopardized and that will lead to weakness. It's very important that alphas understand this and always prioritize the pack; the wellbeing, and the safety of the community they have.
There are different kinds of packs. Some, like Chris's, are family packs in which each new alpha to present takes on the place of the current one, or is allowed to create a new, smaller circle within the pack. This makes for big packs, large communities that tend to live on their own, away from the cities. There's family packs with ramifications too, like Channie's, creating this way family trees. Each branch of the family is a pack on its own, but they all come back to the same origins. Both these packs go back generations, making them not only old but powerful and full of knowledge. Finally, we have packs of packs. This kind doesn't necessarily see itself connected to others by blood links, but by history. Packs or packs, like Chan's former and current pack, are originated by alphas who leave their former packs to create new ones. The main characteristic is that these packs create their own family, being composed by wolves coming from many different communities who don't necessarily have a prior connection.
