Clear Card Trivia 2 ~ Alice in Clockland and its meaning inside Cardcaptor Sakura Clear Card
Tumblr media
"But in the end...what the heck was that 'Clockland' ?"
Raise your hand if you have thought so at least once! If you did, then welcome to one of the posts of my Clear Card trivia series, an unexpected one I have to say, because I had scheduled to write other posts before tackling this one, but today I suddenly realized, thanks to a conversation in a community, that probably this aspect of the series takes precedence over other things.
I've seen countless of people confused over this matter ever since the play started in the plot, and everybody knows that usually when things get unexpectedly complex, they are quick to be labeled as "useless" and "nonsense".
No, Alice in Clockland isn't just a flex on CLAMP's outstanding drawing skills, it isn't useless, it is very much connected to the plot and DOES have a meaning.
Now that the main story is over, I would like to tackle this issue. I don't presume to have the Big Truth in my pocket, especially cause Ohkawa-sensei was quite eloquent in her recent public speeches: a motto she's going by is "If you think so, then it's surely true....for you", but I feel like the way I understood and reconnected the whole play and the consequent events inside Momo's book do work out pretty well, so I'll just do what I usually do: I'll write my own interpretation out here, hoping that people reading it will find it useful, will find the right angle to look at all this part of the story, and have some of their frustrations with this arc sedated. And maybe share it around to help other people too.
I just want to get my voice out there so that no one can say "no one understood it".
Of course the text below is full of spoilers if you haven't read the chapters from 64-ish / volume 13, also I will talk assuming you know what is Kaito's plan and what feelings moved him to think such plan.
Then, if you're ready, let's proceed to see in details what this is all about, starting from the play.
The Alice In Clockland Play
Tumblr media
Let's start from the fact that the play is based on Alice Through The Looking Glass, and that is because….well, Alice in Wonderland is Ohkawa's most beloved book, so she really feels connected to it (and as you might know, this isn't CLAMP's first title inspired in Alice in Wonderland). It's just a preference, but for example many other books are referenced in this arc (as you might know from my other post in the Clear Card Trivia series) particularly "Momo" by Michael Ende (yeah, Akiho chose Momo's name from that book!).
The play (first called "The Two Alice" and then at last minute "Alice in Clockland") is undoubtedly the focal point of the second half of Clear Card. It's during the play that Kaito starts the final stage of his plan (and succeeds). But not only that, the plot of the play itself offers a good foreshadowing to what's going to happen to a certain someone later on. CLAMP used the "parallels" structure a lot in this arc, because it enhances the feeling of interconnection between the characters. "I understand what you're going through because the same happened to me". Sakura is an extremely empathetic character so that fits her and her world perfectly.
So the plot of the play Naoko wrote is quite simple: there are these two twin sisters who get separated by supernatural reasons and one of them ends up lost in another world, becoming Queen of it and forgetting completely about her family of origin. In the play they're both called Alice because of the imagery that twins are initially one same being that gets divided in two… Even the family of origin forgets about the lost daughter, but somehow their feelings for her never get erased, and they keep a chair (which stays empty) at their table. It's like they're feeling that someone is missing and are waiting for her to return, even if they don't really know it. One day, a magical black cat gets to meet the Alice who stayed in her world and ends up guiding her to a magical land: his goal is to lead her to meet her lost sister and reunite them. After wandering for a while. Alice finds her sister/Queen of that land, and touching her hands she suddenly remembers who she is, and what she herself came here for, which is to bring her back home. The two go back home together and we reach the happy ending of the play (which we could only see in the rewritten world, but surely followed the scenario Naoko had written). The most important message of the play is that even if we forget about someone, feelings cannot be erased and those will lead us back to the person we forgot and to remember about them. (Does this ring a bell..?)
The Actual Clockland
Tumblr media
It might be useful to remind you that we're currently dealing with two major magical tools shaped like books, at this point of the story: one is the Book of Time Momo is guarding (to which Akiho gave the title "Alice in Clockland" and which will inspire the title of the play), a magical book capable of recording someone's life and, activating the so-called "Forbidden Magic", rewrite it completely. Another one is the magical artifact, shaped like a book, that was engraved into Akiho's body by her Clan and the Association of Magicians, where any magical book that Akiho reads gets "written down" , to store its magical power for use and consumption of those criminals. There's just one "tiny" problem: the more magic gets written on it, the more the book consumes and suffocates Akiho's soul, till the point of no return where the soul will get destroyed. The Clan and Association prefer this outcome as it would be easier for them to manipulate Akiho as an artifact, devoid of any conscience.
In the middle of the school play, Kaito brings Sakura and Akiho to Clockland, which is a "dimension" existing inside Momo's book, to prepare them for the rewriting of the world that he's going to perform afterwards. This world is built using Sakura, Akiho and Kaito's memories (you can see many elements that appeared in past chapters and that come from their memories, like the botanical garden where they had a double date, or the rose garden where Kaito met Akiho the first time). Another thing to be noted is that Hitsuzen (the force of inevitability that rules CLAMP's manga) facilitated Kaito enormously, so much that many things went exactly as he wished and how it was convenient for him (which isn't a good thing, since this led to a big big mess). So following the school play's roles, here Akiho is the Queen of this land, she's the most important character and it makes sense seeing who Kaito is doing all of this for. Sakura keeps being Alice, just like in the play.
In Clockland, Kaito removes Sakura and Akiho's memories and stores them in the botanical garden. He needs to do that for two reasons:
‐ just like the play, he hopes that Sakura and Akiho will follow along their roles and recognize eachother as sisters ‐ as such, this Clockland works as some kind of "primer" for their brain; ‐ he needs to change and rewrite those memories to make them become sisters later on, so he needs to have them collected in one place.
It is to be noted that Syaoran here is an intruder, Kaito didn't initially account for him to join in, and wanted to take on the role of the cat himself. In the play the cat is the one who leads one of the Alices to find the other one and make them recognize eachother as sisters, so this is the one thing Kaito wants to do and the role he wants to take on for himself. Kaito also knows that Sakura trusts Syaoran, even at a subconscious level, so he keeps his appearance to ease her in, believing that she'll follow along without making questions (ha, so much for that, Kaito). Not wanting to be hindered in his plan, he uses the Mirror Sakura Card as a red herring for Syaoran. Syaoran, in that regard, even as an intruder ends up achieving a result very in line with his "cat role", which is to make someone remember (Sakura remembers her identity when he shouts her name). The Clear Cards are inside Clockland because Kaito soon will need to use them to power the forbidden spell. As we know from later events, not all of them are there, and some follow his orders (like Shade), some don't (like all the Cards with appearances of Sakura's loved ones, which are trying to give her hints along the way to wake her subconscious up ‐ this is exactly their role and it worked well because Sakura starts to free herself from the spell Kaito casted to keep her subconscious dormant and to keep her in her "in role", symbolized in the manga by a change of fonts used in the dialogues, a thing that those who have read it in English couldn't recognize because they didn't respect that aspect in the translation).
Another thing that Kaito hopes for, while the two girls interact in this "fairytale" (it is very much considered a fairytale by Kaito, since he calls all of them "characters"), is that Sakura will end up creating the Card he needs to operate the exchange of artifacts between him and Akiho (exchanging his pocket watch for the artifact book inside of her). As we said above, Hitsuzen shamelessly favors him and Sakura does end up creating Exchange at the last minute. Once that is done, Kaito doesn't need to keep them in this Clockland anymore, and by the contract they have, Momo starts to activate the forbidden spell on his request, rewriting everyone's memories to satisfy Kaito's wish to turn Akiho into Sakura's sister after he removed the artifact from her with Exchange.
Tumblr media
Now, we know what happened after Kaito activated the forbidden spell. Everyone's memories were rewritten following his wish, and he was turned into a dragon and imprisoned by effect of the Seal of D., which was imposed on him by the Association like some sort of "trap", should he ever mess with Akiho's artifact.
But it's here that the play from above comes back in from the "backdoor", to bring the unexpected parallel: Kaito ends up being the character who's lost in another world and whose existence is totally forgotten by a loved one.
But that loved one got a "memento" of him (the pocket watch, which parallels the role of the chair in the play) and that object causes Akiho to feel strange, to feel like she has to fix it, she's extremely attracted to this pocket watch even if she doesn't know why. In the end, just like in the play, Akiho and Kaito reunite and despite not remembering anything about him, and not even having his true appearance in front of her (cause she meets him as a dragon first), Akiho knows perfectly well that that is the person she loves the most, because her feelings weren't erased (just like in the play).
Sakura's role in the finale ends up being similar to the one of the black cat, making everyone remember who they really are and their connections.
So this is roughly the "significance" of both the play and Clockland in this story. It is to be noted that what happens in Clockland is extremely abstract and full of riddles because Alice in Wonderland + Through The Looking Glass are exactly like that. Have you tried to read the originals by Lewis Carrol? It's quite difficult to follow along and nothing seems to make sense….when actually, with a different reading key, it does. I've had to pause my reading of Through The Looking Glass (that I had started in hope to understand the Clear Card story better) multiple times because it's quite difficult for me to stay focused and understand what's going on. I guess Ohkawa‐sensei wanted to go all out on the references to this story, and give the same narrative vibe. The references of course don't stop at the narrative structure, you can read the others in my post about the literary references that I had linked at the beginning of this post, in the section about Alice in Wonderland.
Kaito's True Feelings
Tumblr media
Another thing to be noted about Clockland is that since it's playing a lot with the subconscious of the characters, Kaito's true feelings end up appearing here and there. The Queen's Castle, the most important place, is built on crystals, a reference to his true name (something that Sakura points out immediately and Kaito doesn't reply to, while showing a pensive face). Their memories together are protected and stored inside the botanical garden, once again made of crystals. Sakura hits the bull's eye particularly when she says that the rose garden (where Kaito met Akiho for the first time) feels extremely important to someone (that someone is Kaito, of course), and Kaito (disguised as Syaoran) looks away and urges her to move forward. The "someone" could be interpreted as Akiho too, of course, but the Cat/Kaito's reaction and the fact that the Cards told Sakura that this place is strictly interconnected with someone's "wish", makes me lean more toward Kaito. The garden pavillion appearing with the Repair card is another important place because it's where Lilie told him "you'll find something/someone you'll like, one day". It's quite telling that Sakura, despite not even remembering who she is, is guided by her infinite empathy and recognizes immediately those parts of this land that reveal Kaito's true heart and the core of this whole matter, through the continuous questions she keeps posing to everyone, in a desperate attempt to make sense of what's happening and subconsciously fight the spell that's keeping her in her "role" (she'll do that with Akiho too, later).
It's interesting to note also just how much Hitsuzen played on Kaito's side, guiding Tomoyo's instinct to re-do the outfits for the two Alices and ending up giving to Akiho a serious, dark outfit with a black veil. I remember how me and some friends commented that more than a queen, she looked like a mourning bride. Considering what happened afterwards, the imagery CLAMP chose was pretty spot on. Not only that, but the black veil also served as a metaphor for Kaito keeping Akiho's subconscious dormant, making her act like the role of the play required her to. Needless to say, Akiho was able to slip away from the grasp of that spell basically on her own, without even needing magic, only relying on her strong feelings for Kaito (she didn't even remember her name, but lifting the veil up - a very powerful imagery - she remembered that she had someone she loved, and also Sakura's name. This gets once again conveyed in the Japanese version by the change of fonts in the script). The rose headpiece is also another quite interesting part of the outfit, as Sakura asks to the Cat/Kaito why the roses in the garden are all white, despite being this the Red Queen's land... For sure, that place was referencing the real rose garden where Kaito and Akiho met the first time, where the roses were all white, but that also means that the only Red Rose in that land is....Akiho. I also remind you that the rose headpiece was featured in the color page of chapter 69, with Kaito cradling it in his arms with a sweet smile, as if he were holding something very precious....we could read the color illustration as "that's the only thing he got left of Akiho".
This is the reason why Momo, in a moment where the Alices are on their own, tells Kaito that no matter how much he tries to hide himself behind the Syaoran disguise, his true nature shows up anyway. The whole place is full of elements making reference to very important things in his heart, and his true wish. That is only normal because the whole place is made up of their memories. This is also why Momo says that Kaito gave "all of himself" for the activation of the spell.
Another very interesting part is when Sakura, before meeting the Cat/Kaito, meets her friends Rika, Chiharu, Yamazaki and Naoko in the shape of the corresponding Cards (Appear, Synchronize and True & False). The Cards tell her that what appears in this world depends on what Sakura wishes, but her reply is "This is the Red Queen's land. Shouldn't she be the one to decide what appears here in this world?" which works wonderfully on a metaphorical level to point at how Akiho should be the one deciding what happens from now on, since this place is hers and was built for her alone. Seeing how mad Akiho got at Kaito afterwards for deciding her happiness on her behalf, yes, Sakura's question was pretty legit.
In Clockland we have also lots of meaningful interactions between Sakura and Akiho and words said in conversation that will become absolutely essential to help Sakura reaching the truth in the rewritten world (especially the whole discussion about "memories" and "records"), since they stayed in her heart even with the activation of the forbidden spell.
And I believe this is everything regarding these two parts of the Clear Card plot, a way for CLAMP to undoubtedly experiment with a different kind of storytelling, and to ask their readers to dedicate a little bit more of attention to the story, trying to get out of the logical approach to things, and thinking on a more abstract and metaphorical level.

your reworked designs are so cool <33 I was wondering how you would rework morro?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mooooooooo lil ol bean
So a morro he definitely took the biggest hit because of my sickness so I'll have to elaborate with drawings as time goes on.
The concept of reworking morro is a bit harder than I hoped, because my reworks do effect how the story is written and all my ideas are too ambitious for the fact I'm in midterms. So I reworked morro's fate, if you want a more of "rework so deep that it rewrites s5" then I'll do it in summer break, so yeah stay toon.
(Also yes this is a lmk inspired style, I shouldn't draw sick omg lol)
-how is he back?
Tbh I am not sure tho I know i want him to be brought around dotd but the how is hard to pin point, I like to think of an idea close to "something went wrong as morro was retuning " which caused him to for a lack of a better term to glitch and turn human. He's not fully human ticnicly, morro is in a real reborn human body yes but his glitch caused him to keep some of the goust-nes. The goust remnant show in his goust eye, to show that the new human body and his undead soul are at unity.
-How is he? Where will he go?
He obviously would be confused and scared, I don't believe he would be in the monastery for a long while. I feel he would be in what I call "his tree house" where he trys to clear his mind. He's not isolated just needs time to prosses his emotions. I don't think more will be an official ninja member but more of an ally like dareth.
I like to imagine the gang to call morro because he has mad connections and dirt on people, and morro uses this to be the lovely smug grimlin that he is.
-How does the goust eye works?
Morro can swap between the human form and the goust form, the goust form has the ablity of gousts. Invisibleity, phasing and possesing. He isn't weak to water though, kinda. If morro gets hit with water in his goust form he'll be forced into his human for and can't go goust for about 12 hours.
Morro can go goust as he pleases but it dose tire him out.
-Dose he still have wind?
Yes he still does, still the same
- Design:
I do wana adjust it but let's talk about my ideas. I gave morro a gi that doesn't really match the ninjas or the sensei-s but still feel similar in a way, again like dearth. I plopped up mo's emblem on his gi and I tried to make it look more goat-dragon to separate him from ninjago Western dragon aesthetic but to make his emblem feel more personal. (I love the emblems can you tell?)
This is au category technicaly but I think it's a really fun idea to write, morro is such a great character i miss him and I'll never forget his biggest contribution to the fandom
The monster amv (your welcome for the nestolga)
Spooky scary skeleton, and give morro momos
Bun, out

NATLA - Episode 3: Omashu (2/3)
[Masterlist of my NATLA thoughts]
An explanation of what I'm doing here and my history with ATLA.
Of course, full spoilers ahead.
<previous/next>
Starting the Gaang's POV storyline with Katara working on her waterbending was really nice - getting a little down time just like we get at the beginning of the animated episodes is always welcome when they can work it into the timeframe. We see Katara's skills growing, but having her classic trouble with the water whip - the same form she struggled with in The Waterbending Scroll episode. I like that Aang is trying to help her in his sweet and optimistic way, but he doesn't fully understand the mental block Katara has and she'll need another method of overcoming that block than what Aang provided in the first episode. It's so sweet and a great character moment as Aang blames himself for Katara's failure - he doesn't want her to feel bad about not being a master yet and tries to alleviate her struggle with some humor. We get the cute moment with Sokka bringing back supplies too, mirrored by Momo and it really feels just like the light-hearted beginnings of the animated episodes.
This is continued as we see Aang's excitement at seeing 'another airbender' and realizing they're heading in the direction of Omashu - he's so excited to share info about the city with Katara and Sokka, his joy is infectious - and his open naivete as he asks the 'cart guy' "What makes you think we're outsiders?" while they're in very color-coded clothing in an Earth Nation city is adorable. No idea how some people missed the whole first parts of the Gaang's episodes where they're all just hanging out and bonding.
I like us seeing Zhao sneaking his way into the authority position in his relationship with Zuko - instead of the brash, overbearing Zhao of the animated series, here, he's more subtle and it's harder to go directly against him as all his suggestions seem reasonable. Zuko, of course, doesn't want to allow anyone else to capture the Avatar therefore taking away his one chance of going home. I love how the scene with Zuko refusing to let Lieutenant Jee talk bad about Zhao - it so clearly shows how he values honor and not abandoning the values of the Fire Nation 'even out here'. He may have been banished, but he's desperate to cling to the order that makes him a part of his home - giving that up would be fully accepting he's no longer Fire Nation royalty - at the moment, his whole identity.
For Aang in this episode, we do miss where he gets to reminisce about the airbenders and be upset at the changes to the temple like he did in the animated episode that included Teo and the Mechanist - though I do think there's still room to bring that back in a later season as Omashu has been taken and they might show up again as refugees that took shelter in the Air Temple. You got hints of Aang being upset at how the world has changed in the Warriors episode with him not understanding why people wouldn't be open and welcoming and with how Omashu is now, but I think his real issues with the way the war has changed the world will come up in the next two seasons. I saw them drawing from different things for Aang's part here. Aang's journey pulled from his last bit from the Kyoshi Island animated episode where he decides that instead of running, he was going to do what he could to help. In this episode, he starts taking steps to stop running away and deal with threats to average people rather than focusing on the bigger picture stuff like getting to the Northern Water Tribe and learning waterbending. He's still figuring out what the world is like now and finding ways to help 'one person at a time'. He also gets to see people ready and willing to fight - like Teo and his desire to attack.
While it could be nice to see Aang taking the lead in battle strategy like he does in the animated episode, I like that it's Teo who brings up the idea that with Aang, they have air power - which the Fire Nation doesn't have. After all, Aang is a pacifist and not really wanting to strike directly at the enemy yet - but Teo has had years of resentment and pain due to the fire nation and it makes sense that that's his first thought when he meets Aang.  It does seem a bit odd in the animated version how ready Aang is to go to war, create battle strategies, and kill fire nation soldiers (because knocking them off mountains is 100% killing them, like, let's not pretend it's not). I get that he's angry and defending the Air Temple, but I think it was smart to avoid that level of violence from Aang so soon. I know he attacks fire benders a lot, but his actions in the animated episode felt more like outright war than just little skirmishes. It's a small aspect, but I can see why the writers of the live-action didn’t feel like that storyline was crucial to the plot or character development just yet - rather, focusing on what little things Aang can do wherever he goes to help people is the point they're making right now.
With Azula's addition - plus the introduction of Mai and Tylee - I know some people are worried about how that'll square with how Azula makes her team in season 2. I think it can still work out pretty much the same (if that's the route they choose) as it's likely Ozai sends Azula out alone like before and it's only later that she forms her team. So we can still have Mai and her family take over Omashu (as Azula took it at the end of this season) and Tylee could just stay in the capitol - there's nothing to say she isn't currently in the circus - she could just enjoy spending her time off with her old childhood (younger childhood) friends. So no, I don't think including them here was 'plot destroying fan service'. Also, what's with the criticism that she knows how to shoot a bow and arrow? She's a warrior - brutal and efficient. She can use her damn hair pin to cement herself to a cliff face - what makes you think she doesn't have mad skills with tons of weapons? There's nothing in canon (that I can remember) that says that firebenders using weapons is looked down upon, so not sure what the problem is here.
Seeing all the actors and how YOUNG they are, I'm totally cool with the writers skimping on most of the romances - Sokka being the oldest makes sense that his romances become things, but everyone else is a literal child. I can see in like, two years Zuko and Mai being cute together, maybe Aang and Katara (though that age gap is huge for the actors), but right now, all I can see are babies. Canon accurate, but just like with Azula, Mai was NOT drawn as a child - she looked waaaay older - like full on adult older.
Since we're speaking on the Fire Nation, right now: I love the choice for Iroh getting captured by protecting Zuko instead of him just getting caught sitting in a hot spring - it adds way more depth to both Iroh and his relationship with Zuko - plus, it's the first time in the live-action we ever see Iroh firebend. His first display of power is in a bid to draw the attention to him so that he can be punished instead of Zuko and I felt that was just super impactful. I think he did this because Zuko's ponytail would identify him as Fire Nation pretty quickly - and with all the guards, they could spot and take them down - Iroh sacrificed himself not pointlessly, but to draw every eye to him. Also love the detail - that they repeat next episode - that Iroh's firebending is POWERFUL! His fire blasts are SO much bigger than any we've seen - even with Ozai, we haven't seen the sheer magnitude of his bending even if we saw it reflected in Azula's eyes. Like the paralleling of the brothers here where we see the kind of power they have

[It's me. Momo. Back at it again writing more Nabsgan one-shots instead of working on my New Year's Resolution of getting my book published. 👍
Anyway, I've just had a mighty need lately so this is happening. Small warning, it's a little spicy but nothing explicit or graphic. Got a little bit of angst if you know how to look at it ahaaaa. BUT I hope the three Nabsgan fans on this website enjoy this little sweet and fun thing I wrote for two dumbasses. :'3
Translation note: "miv ra'aq" literally means "my sun" but it is a term of high endearment for the Gerudo.]
While Nabooru welcomed the ache in her muscles from her final training session of the evening, the sweat glistening on her skin in the torchlight and the cooling sensation afforded to her whole body from the night’s air crawling in through the windows of the fortress, she did not care for the exhaustion weighing heavy on her limbs and eyelids as she trudged toward Ganondorf’s room. The final task and request of the night–one she was running later for than she meant to–and then she could catch a few winks of sleep before waking with the sun and starting over again. That thought in mind, she considered saving her some steps and energy after their meeting and staying in his room instead. If her tardiness didn’t sour his mood so much that he would refuse to let her.
Approaching the ornate doors, the gold embellishments gleaming too brightly in her tired eyes, she pushed the door open and entered, stifling a yawn with the back of her hand. “Sorry I’m late. I wanted to make sure the new beats for the guards covered the blind spots we previously had in surveillance.”
“I did not realize such a task would work up a sweat.” Ganondorf snapped his book shut and stood, dropping the tome on the cushions he abandoned. He stretched his arms over his head, drawing her gaze, purposefully or not, to the lengthening of his muscular arms and bare torso. His arms dropped back to his sides, thick brows low over his amber eyes and his disapproving frown tugging the corners of his lips downward. “Were you sprinting to do these rounds?”
“I’m here now, aren’t I?” she sniffed, folding her arms as she crossed the room. She paused in front of him. “And if you must know, I wanted to get a last training session in since the meeting you called cut my usual morning training short.”
“I suppose it makes the bath I prepared for us more worthwhile.”
An eyebrow rose in question, but she did not fight the calloused fingers tracing along the top of her pants to rest at the small of her back or the lips finding purchase against her neck. “A bath and feeling me up is hardly urgent business,” she responded, head tilting as her hands wandered along his sides, “especially not with that look you gave me when I walked in.”
“You know I don’t like to be kept waiting, Nabooru.” The growl in his voice sent a shiver pirouetting through her body, her response silenced by his lips attaching to her own. “And I don’t want the water to get cold.”
“I figured you would revel in the excuse to show off your magical prowess.”
A punishing nip to her lower lip elicited a soft giggle before she kissed him again, arms looping around his neck as he deepened the kiss. Hands on her hips, Ganondorf lifted her from the ground, feet leaving the rug beneath them. Legs wrapped around his waist as he carried her to the private washroom in the back of his room, the trip problem free despite their maintained lip lock thanks to his heightened awareness and familiarity with his space. One hand left her backside to push the curtain aside and, once they were in the room, the steam of his magically filled and heated tub swirling around them in a humid mist, he parted his lips from hers.
With a slight lift of her backside, he silently coaxed her to release her legs from his waist and lowered her to the mosaic-tiled floor. She dropped her arms from his shoulders in favor of pulling the ruby from her hair, her crimson tresses falling down her back and over her shoulders. She idly shook them out as she unabashedly watched her lover remove his pants and climb into the tub with a content sigh. The basin had been remodeled to give him ample space within it to stretch out and relax, despite his protests to avoid wasting time and resources when he could make due with what already existed in the chief’s or king’s quarters. However, Twinrova insisted the king deserved to bathe in privacy and comfort instead of being subjected to a tiny bathtub or the communal baths with the rest of the tribe. While the snobby demeanor of the sorceress’s request irked her, Nabooru couldn’t complain too loudly about it; private baths with Ganondorf were one of her favorite ways to spend time with him.
Plucking her rings off each finger, she set them and her gloves next to the wash basin, followed by her choker. “Is it still warm? Was all your attitude for nothing?” she asked, toeing off her shoes.
“Mm, indeed.” He draped his arms over the lip of the tub, cracking an eye open to watch her finish undressing. “It's the perfect temperature.”
“I’ll be the judge of that.”
Kicking her pants over to where she discarded her top–still the typical white of an Elite; her mother still worked on her specially tailored outfit to better suit her rank of second in command–she padded over to the tub and climbed in. Immediate relief washed over her, a pleased sigh escaping her lips as she sank beneath the water across from Ganondorf, adjusting her legs to allow them both to share the space comfortably. She inhaled the soothing hint of cool safflina entangled with the rising steam and closed her eyes. The combination of the two soothed both her aching muscles and her tired mind.
“Well?” asked Ganondorf after a moment, his deep voice drawing her back from her near doze.
“Mm, eight out of ten on the heat level.” Nabooru smirked when she opened her eyes, and noted the flare of his nostrils. “But the cool safflina scent is a nice touch and makes up for it.”
“In retrospect, I should have chosen a different scent it seems,” he mused, “one with less of a chance of putting you to sleep.”
“Like feet?”
Before Ganondorf could process her ludicrous suggestion, Nabooru braced her hands on the lip of the tub and, stretching her leg toward him, lifted her foot from the water so it was level and an inch from his nose. She cackled as he grunted and turned his face away. “I think that would keep us awake, don’t you?”
“Childish,” he rumbled, but his smirk belied his annoyance with her antics. In half a blink, his calloused fingers snagged her ankle in a grip just tight enough that she couldn’t wriggle free from. “But I have a better solution.”
A firm, forward tug of her ankle yanked her beneath the water, her surprised gasp filling her mouth and lungs with water. Limbs flailed as she struggled to resurface, and her hands finally found purchase on the side of the tub again to tank herself back from the depths of the tub. She sputtered and coughed, her wheezing juxtaposed by Ganondorf’s hearty laughter. When she regained control, she slapped the surface of the water, splashing water in his face. However, his laughter was infectious enough to revive her smile.
“You wouldn’t be laughing if that killed me.”
“So dramatic,” he teased through the tail end of his chuckles. He held his arms out to her, beckoning her into them with a crook of his fingers. “I simply think you’re absolutely stunning when you’re soaking wet.”
Nabooru smoothed the curtains of damp hair back away from her face and heeded his invitation with a mild pout. It melted the instant she rested her back against his chest and his muscled arms curved around her frame. Her fingers danced idly along his forearms. “Well, there are much more pleasant ways you can do that.”
Another chuckle, and he lifted her hand to his lips. “Mm, perhaps,” he muttered, kissing along each of her knuckles. He turned it over and kissed her palm. “But I like to keep things interesting. I couldn’t bear to be predictable.” He nipped her palm, then, smirking. “I'll focus on that later.”
“I'll hold you to it.” Cupping his cheek, she twisted at the waist to steal a proper kiss. “I do still love you despite your attempt to drown me.”
He smiled as she resettled in his arms and nuzzled the top of her head. “I love you too, Nabooru.”
Silence once more fell between them, comfortable and easy. Ganondorf would occasionally toy with her fingers or kiss her temple, face lingering against her head. Finally, just when her eyelids closed and a dozing sleep overcame her, his voice, tender and velvet, tore her from sleep's grasp.
“I have something for you.”
“Mm, yeah?” she answered through a stifled yawn. “It's not bad news or something, is it?”
“I hope not.”
Carefully, Ganondorf readjusted her position in his lap so she sat sideways on his thigh. He held his hand out. Shadows swirled momentarily within his palm before a glint of gold replaced them. Nabooru's lips parted in awe, the appearance of the stunning and intricate piece of jewelry fully distracting her from her discomfort with the magic used to materialize it. The ruby shimmered in the light of the torches along the walls, the gold seemingly lit aflame.
“Did you make this? Like really make it?” she asked, tearing her gaze away from the armband to meet Ganondorf's amber gaze. “It's…stunning…”
“With a little guidance from Shini, yes. She probably could have done something more intricate but…I wanted–no, needed–this gift to bear more meaning than a craft commissioned from another. Or created through magic.”
Her heartbeat doubled in tempo, anticipation coiling in her core. “Oh?” she croaked out, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. It took every ounce of her control not to squirm in his arms. To not assume the meaning of his words before he spoke them.
“Nabooru.” His free hand cupped her cheek then trailed down to the center of her left bicep. “I can no longer remember a time where I was not in love with you. Nor can I fathom going a single day without you by my side in the future. Someday, I hope to call you more than just my lover, my second in command. I hope to call you my queen.”
Queen. The word echoed through her mind and off the stone walls and tiled floor, eliciting equal parts gratuitous excitement and mild panic. Years ago, she would have sworn to the world, the gods, and anyone else that she would never marry. It was hardly important to the Gerudo, anyway, and her ambitions would frighten most prospective partners. However, as her relationship with Ganondorf evolved, each new day making it harder for her to deny the depth of her love for him, the idea, when it waltzed into her mind on those idle days where she couldn't focus on paperwork or as she laid in his arms halfway between waking and sleep, ceased to feel so uncomfortable. Outlandish and impossible. And now, with his proposal presented, the knee jerk panic that swept in dissipated. Lips curling into a grin, she crushed her lips to his and looped her arms around his neck. He returned her kiss with equal ferocity, arms tight around her.
“I would be more than honored to be your queen,” she answered, breathlessly against his lips. “Not just for the opportunity to continue to lead our people at your side but because there is no one else in this world I can imagine binding myself to like this.” She cupped his face in her hand, thumb tracing along his cheek bone as she kissed him again. “I will love you until the end of my days and beyond, Ganondorf. Nothing will change that.”
He smiled and recaptured her lips in another passionate kiss, tongue slipping past her parted lips as the arm draped around the small of her back pulled her flush against him. His free hand masterfully secured the band to her left bicep. The cool metal on her warm skin felt right, the weight perfect.
“I just have one request,” rumbled Ganondorf, giving her kiss-swollen lips a playful nip and lick.
Nabooru hummed, amused. “And what would that be?”
The Gerudo king tugged her close, hands trailing the length of her spine to her backside. He gave it a squeeze as he leaned forward, his hot breath tickling her ear as he said, “I want you to keep the armband on while I ravish you tonight.”
The simple request sent a blazing fire rushing through her, thighs squeezing together. A nod. “Anything for you, miv ra'aq.”

TIAM IS Side Stories: Bathhouse
Tumblr media
Welcome to this side story, I'll let you all find out what happens. Oh yeah and I used the picture @twice-inamillion used in the Dahyun part of the story because I thought it would be easier.
While you were going to be busy, Jihyo was with the children at her parent’s home, and Chaeyoung was on a family trip; the others decided to visit the spa you had taken Dahyun to a few days earlier. Once Dahyun had mentioned how nice it was and that you had the lifetime membership, everyone jumped at the opportunity to go. You made the call the day before, and Samantha cleared the board for you, ensuring the members had the entire place to themselves. Dahyun led the way as she waddled through the doors. Samantha stood in the reception area, smiling at the group. “Sorry for making use of knowing you so soon, Samantha,” Dahyun says as she reaches her.
“It’s no problem, really. You have the entire place to yourselves. Let us know if you need anything, and we’ll handle it.”
“We will; thanks again!” Dahyun cheerily says as the group makes their way to the large bath. Before they got in, the members cleaned their bodies with a short shower as they stripped down and sat on the short stools to start. Sana immediately began to touch the others, sensing an opportunity. She poked Momo’s sides, saying, “Wow, you’ve really been working on your abs!” Momo. Momo jerked, feeling her side being continually prodded by the ever-touchy Sana.
“Sana, stop!” She said while trying to smack Sana’s arms away. The others watched as the two j-line members started to play, chasing each other around the area. Jeongyeon seeing that they were wasting time they could be using in the bath, grabbed Momo and Sana's ears when they came by her.
“You two cut it out; start washing yourselves,” she commanded. Like children scolded by their mother, the two sheepishly got onto their stools and started cleaning themselves.
“I told you to stop,” Momo muttered to Sana.
“You’re the one who started running.” Sana retorted.
Sana would look over at everyone else, admiring their bodies. “Waa, everyone looks so nice,” she says loud enough to draw some laughs.
Once everyone had washed up, they made their way into the bath. The warm water on their skin felt great as they came from the cold outside. The members let out sighs of relief, getting to all rest together in the warm bath and removing their stress.  Dahyun tilts her head back as she relaxes, “Do you think the present we decided on is going to be okay?” she asked.
Nayeon is the first to respond, “I’m sure he’ll love it. He loves the kids. Why wouldn’t he want a calendar of them? It’s so cute.” The others nod in agreement.
“He’ll love it, Dahyun,” Tzuyu says with sincere support.
“You know what he’d really love? A sexy calendar of Jihyo, Mina, and Dahyun. We could make it for his birthday.” Sana says with a great big smile on her face.
Dahyun blushes and covers her smile, “That’s too embarrassing. I could never do it.”
“Come on, Dahyun, you know he would be staring at it forever. Thinking about all the things he’s done.” Sana says as she moves next to Dahyun.
“I don’t know.”
“I’ll do it too if that’s what it takes,” Sana says, shocking everyone.
“I don’t know…if everyone takes part, I guess I wouldn’t mind.”
“I’m not doing it!” Jeongyeon says, denying it outright. “Why should I have to be sexy for him?”
“I-I’ll do it,” Tzuyu says shyly as she raises her hand.
“Me too,” Nayeon says, raising her hand slowly.
“You’ll do it too, right, Momo? For Dahyun?”
Momo thinks about it for a moment before saying, “sure, why not?”
“Yaa, you can’t be serious. All of you are willing to do it?”
The others look at each other and nod simultaneously. Nayeon speaks up, “This is for Dahyun.” While they could claim it was for Dahyun, four of the six of them were in some sort of relationship with you. It was never going to work out for Jeongyeon. After a few minutes of begging her to do it, Jeongyeon relents.
“Fine, I’ll do it!” Everyone but her cheers as they have decided to do a special calendar.
While everyone relaxes and chats with each other, Sana, still next to Dahyun, starts rubbing her belly. “You’re belly has really grown, Dahyun.”
“Yeah, it’s pretty big now. The baby will be here soon enough.” Dahyun says with a smile as she looks down at her swollen belly. Both Nayeon and Sana eye Dahyun’s belly with a wanting look.
“Your boobs have grown too, Dahyun,” Sana says as she gently squeezes one of them, drawing a small moan from Dahyun. The sound attracts the other's attention.
“Have you started leaking yet, Dahyun? I remember Momo leaking a little.” Tzuyu chimes in as she moves closer.
“I have been starting to lately. It’s a problem when it goes through my shirts.”
“Why don’t you have Oppa suck on them when they do?” Tzuyu says with such an innocent voice that the others can’t help but laugh.
“Oh, Dahyun, how does it feel when he sucks on your tits? Come on, tell us.” Sana says.
Dahyun’s cheeks turn red as she’s confronted with Sana’s question; a loud “ooh” comes from the others as they see Dahyun become embarrassed. Sana squeezes Dahyun’s swollen tit and sees some fluid leak. She latches onto Dahyun’s nipple, and Dahyun moans as Sana’s warm mouth tries to get milk from her.
“I-I want to know what it’s like too,” Tzuyu says as she gets on the other side of Dahyun and captures her other nipple. As her fellow members suck on her tits, Dahyun whimpers and tries to hold back her moans. The others start to gather around her wanting to feel Dahyun’s pregnant body. While that happens, Sana slips her fingers along Dahyun’s puffy lips.
“Dahyun, have you had sex with him while you’ve been pregnant?” Sana asks. Dahyun shakes her head, refusing to answer the question.
“Then tell us. How big is he? Jeongyeon asks. Seeing as you had drawn many members to you, Jeongyeon had to know what it was that drew everyone in. Instead of a verbal answer, Dahyun gives a rough size of your cock with her hands. Seeing how far apart Dahyun’s hands were, Jeongyeon imagined your cock; she placed her hand roughly where it would end if it were inside her.
“How did it feel inside you?” asked Nayeon wanting to know when it came time to have sex with you. “Did it feel good?”
Dahyun nods her head. “Yeah, really good.”
“Tell us more than that we want to know.”
As Dahyun starts to tell the others how it feels to have your cock inside her, they all move their hands downwards to their pussies. As Dahyun continues, each member stifles their moans as their fingers move further inside them. They all imagine what it’s like to have a cock that big tearing them apart. Sana asked, “Did it feel like this?” before she plunged three fingers into Dahyun’s pussy. Dahyun moaned loudly as Sana’s fingers explored her insides without restraint. “Oh, this feels so nice. Momo, come here and feel Dahyun’s pussy.” Momo did as Sana told her and moved to Dahyun, Sana retracted her fingers, and Momo’s went in. As they fingered Dahyun, the others continued to finger themselves, now that Dahyun had broken the barrier by moaning. They all let themselves give in pleasure. Dahyun feels an orgasm approaching from having Tzuyu sucking on her tit and Momo stirring up her insides when Tzuyu unlatches and says she wants to finger Dahyun. This shocks everyone, as their maknae has suddenly become quite bold. Momo’s fingers are replaced by Tzuyu, who quickly slides two fingers in, curling them, so they drag along Dahyun’s walls. Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Sana, and Momo all fingered themselves, watching their maknae finger Dahyun without remorse.
It didn’t take long before Dahyun reached her limit, shouting, “I’m cumming” seconds before she came over Tzuyu’s fingers. Cutely Tzuyu says, “Dahyun, your pussy felt great around my fingers.” This drew laughs from Nayeon and Jeongyeon, who said they have to protect Tzuyu, that she’s too pure. “I want to feel my unnies too,” Tzuyu says, breaking the silence that had come over the room after Nayeon and Jeongyeon’s words. While they’re all shocked about Tzuyu's newfound boldness, they soon think she’s not the same as when they first met. Momo volunteers herself and gets in front of Tzuyu. “No, Unnie, I want to see what it looks like when I do it.” Understanding what she met, Momo gets out on the bath ledge and spreads her legs for the others to see. Momo spreads her lips, and Tzuyu slides hers into her Unnie. Momo coos as Tzuyu’s finger push deep into her pussy. The others watch with pleasure as they finger themselves, except for Dahyun, who’s being fingered by Sana again.
As Tzuyu continues to slide her fingers in and out of Momo’s increasingly wet pussy, her face inches closer to it until her lips press against Momo’s folds. Before Momo can tell Tzuyu to stop, she moans as Tzuyu’s tongue slips inside. “I want to see what my unnie tastes like,” Tzuyu says while showing off her best puppy eyes. Behind her, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, and Dahyun all let out tremendous moans as they cum in the pool. Dahyun floats as she struggles to remain conscious from the two orgasms she’s gone through in the last few minutes. Before Tzuyu can continue, Sana is behind her stopping her from continuing at that moment and saying that she can taste her later. Tzuyu felt a little sad having to stop her, but she did nonetheless.
At this point, all the activity calms down, and the girls return to simply relaxing in the pool. When they finished, they returned to the changing room and prepared to leave. When everyone got home, you greeted them warmly. They all went to do something around the house, leaving Tzuyu to help you cook. As you bend down to get some spices from the bottom cupboard, Tzuyu gets next to you and whispers that she wants to try oral for her next lesson. “I want to give you a blowjob, and I want you to cum in my mouth during our next lesson.” She said with determination.

So, you know Dæmon AUs? From His Dark Materials? Yeah, I may have gone insane and created one for Atla… oops…
But hey, at least it gives me an excuse to practice drawing animals! I now give you the scary lady trio for your viewing pleasure (sorry for the shitty lighting)
Tumblr media
Azula gets a golden eagle (we’re ignoring the fact that in His Dark Materials, birds were mostly for witches). His name is Yōjin and he’s supposed to be a Japanese golden eagle but from what I can see they’re smaller than what I’d like him to be so yeah
Tumblr media
Then we’ve got Mai, whose dæmon is a black leopard named Hanh Phúc. He is very friendly because Mai likes her friends on the inside behind five barbed wire fences
Tumblr media
And finally, Ty Lee gets a lar gibbon so that they can be a dual act in the circus. His name is Menumpukan and he’s a little bit more chill than our girl, but not by much. Also I’m sorry for his face, I couldn’t get his eyes to pop so he’s looks like he doesn’t have any and it terrifies me
The names aren’t set in stone, I thought it would be funny to name them after adjectives that describe them in various languages. Also the dæmons are all regular animals from our world but the normal atla animals are still like in the show. It makes them extra quirky lol
I’m also this close to writing a series for this and I need to stop, please help. Anyone wanting to write it for me is very welcome to do so. Also Aang doesn’t get a dæmon because Avatar bullshit, but he still has Appa and Momo so it’s cool

What about class 1-A with a class mate with the same personality as Angie yonaga or toko fukawa.
✿✞✡︎✞✿
I was kinda shocked that three people requested for Angie, but I’m not complaining because I love Angie. Sorry this couldn’t be longer and I apologize for the long wait.
Quirk — Arts and Crafts: The user can create life and objects by painting or sculpting them. (Think of Abilene and Painter Kirby for reference.)
Class 1-A having a classmate with the same personality and talent as ᗩᑎᘜIᗴ YOᑎᗩᘜᗩ
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[ᖇᗴᗩᗪᗴᖇ]: You would be wise to stop preaching such sacrilege. Atua may curse your bloodline for over three generations.
[Bakugo]: I’ve cursed out tons of members of my family! Bring it on!
You were a brand new foreign exchange student. Iida wanted to lecture you because you lacked the regular school uniform, but let it slide as he didn’t want to offend you if your clothes held any cultural significance.
The class was thankful for having someone so cheerful join the class. With the newfound stress of the Sports Festival and having the other classes hate them for being attacked, it alleviated some of their worries.
Sure the Atua stuff perplexed them a bit, but wanting to appear welcoming they didn’t question it too much.
It was mix bag when it came to academics. There were times where you’d be absent on the account of your god telling you to prepare a tribute of some kind.
[Kaminari]: I thought Atua was a peaceful god?
[ᖇᗴᗩᗪᗴᖇ]: He’s peaceful when he wants to be. Today he chooses violence.
When it comes to combat you aren’t one to be trifled with. Turning a one-on-one into a someone getting jumped by a flying cloud with an eyeball and a dog with three heads.
Midoriya was not too fond on giving up some of his blood, but you were almost able to get Todoroki to agree.
Momo and Iida try to be respectful but they have a hard time accepting the way you convert try and enlighten people. Iida will interfere when you start getting a little too close for other student’s comfort.
Kaminari is one of the few who (usually) stay after you preach about your god and enjoys showing off some his own drawings. Since Atua favors the boy, he is allowed to watch while you paint. Together both of you were to make some scarily realistic wax figures of some of your classmates.
[ᖇᗴᗩᗪᗴᖇ]: Kaminari, do you think I made Bakugo’s heads too big?
[Kaminari]: Seems fine. It looks as big and scary as the real deal.
While a lot of your classmates were creeped out they couldn’t argue about how well made them were.
[Kirishima]: My muscles could be a little bigger…
Most couldn’t argue. . .
Spreading the word of your god around school wasn’t always the best. Monoma was very vocal and quick to shoot you down in hopes of destroying you and your faith.
Your class and class b try their best to keep you both separated. Sometimes they fear for Monoma’s safety.
[Asahina]: Everyone’s going to the pool for some fun! Don’t be late!
Even though your classmates find you odd and scary at times, they never exclude you from the fun. They know (more so hope) that your intentions are pure. Their your friends and while they may not be true followers to Atua, they are important to you.

Well I'm honored to be your 1# sahyo enthusiast! Seriously most of my favourite sahyo stuff were done by you, they're always amazing (also I haven't watched bottoms yet, its always slipping from my mind, is it good?)
Take all the time you need, it's best to take a break as to not overwhelm yourself! We'll always welcome you with open arms! I think I can understand what you're going through
I've always got those big sketchbooks and I used to fill them up pretty quickly, nowadays I got hit by this massive art block + I'm full of shit to do and it feels like I'm always tired, haven't been able to draw properly, it sucks
thank you 🥺 and it's really, really silly and goofy and so SO good 😭 it's quite stereotypical but that's the whole point of the movie. it kind of gave me scream vibes although it's not a horror movie, for some reason that i can't put to words... it's everything we (lesbians) had been waiting for. you should definitely give it a watch, it's not a long movie!!
the idea of jihyo as a patricinha (i can't remember the english word for it but you will know what i mean) and sana as a major loser who will go really far to reach the cheerleader who's dating the 'badass' jock is so amusing to me and i'd love to read/write something like that honestly 😭 and momo could REALLY be like pj. you will get it after you watch it!
about getting a block, it's really tough. i don't think it's what's happening with me because i really want to write and i do write but nothing comes out good enough and then my effort gets wasted because i've been deleting file after file of unfinished stuff... do you know what i mean? but i totally get the 'being tired' part. it really gets tiring after a while, both not being able to do your art or doing it and disliking it... i feel you 🥲
