Cuddling with the Stranger Things Older Teens

I’ve been thinking about this for a very long time and decided to write this to revive my tumblr 😭 I will be doing one for the party too :D (also shoutout to all the shifters who see this let this serve as motivation for your adventures)

In order- Robin, Steve, Eddie, Nancy, Jonathan, and Argyle

Robin

It's very easy for her to get comfortable in any position. You’re elbow stabbing her stomach? She’s fine! You’re laying on her throat? If she can still breathe she’s good!

This is amplified especially if she’s already rambling on about something because she is more focused on not trying to sound stupid in front of you

In between thoughts, she’ll ask if you’re still comfortable or if she needs to move

“You’re still ok right?” “Yeah I’m fine” “Are you sure? Like 100% sure. Because I can move like I’m totally fine with moving, it's really easy.”

Would definitely be more like a base for you to snuggle up to because she moves her hands around to talk a lot

If you were the one sitting up she’d just lean her head against you as she keeps talking

After she’s been talking for a while if she needs a break she’ll just lay there in silence for a few minutes before continuing on

If you fell asleep she would definitely freeze up until you woke up

Overall a comfortable experience and you’d probably get to hear all about whatever she was obsessed with at the moment

Steve

He’d probably be a little hesitant because he’s not incredibly touchy, but since Dustin is he sort of learned to be

Touch starved growing up so he does not know how to accept it

His default would be to just hug you, but he’d move however you moved, trying his best to not make it awkward and to not ‘mess up’ as he’d say

Would fake confidence because he’s dated many girls in the past, but he honestly does not know what he’s doing

If he ever ended up uncomfortable he would ignore it and would deny his discomfort at all costs

“Steve, are you ok?” “Of course! Why do you ask?” “You’re tearing up” “Those are happy tears because I’m so comfortable!”

He’d somehow get you to believe him, either that or you’d have to hide your movement so he doesn’t end up feeling bad

Would get very cuddly and would probably end up sharing his innermost thoughts with you

He’s a weirdly comfortable person like a giant pillow so you’d get sleepy really fast, his hair is also really soft so that’s a plus

If he did fall asleep he’d make sure you did first to make sure you’re ok

10/10 you both end up asleep

Eddie

Always, and I mean always up to cuddle with literally anyone he knows, yes it’s because he’s touch starved but in the opposite way of Steve where he’s very touchy

Would pretend you’re weird for asking but, of course, he’s joking

“You wanna ‘cuddle’ with me?” “Yeah” “That’s so weird wth” “Oh” “I’m kidding, IM KIDDING”

Latches onto you immediately and won’t let go until you let go

He moves around a lot until he gets comfortable and you will probably end up as his pillow whether you like it or not

Makes sure his hair isn’t all over your face because it does that a lot

He wouldn’t ask you if you were ok with him talking a lot he would just give you a look and you’d sort of have to notice

“Eddie?” “Hm?” “Would you like to say something?” “Yes, ok so-“

Would whisper “are you sleeping?” in your ear a little too close and would get really apologetic if he accidentally woke you up

A very fluffy person 10/10 experience

Nancy

She is not a very touchy person at all and would be very reluctant to say yes and would probably resolve with an “ok but only for a few minutes”

However if she was working and you asked she’d absentmindedly say yes without really thinking about what she’s agreed too

At the beginning she’d just sit down and she would be very awkward about everything but after a little while she’d warm up to you

You’d be able to tell when she’s comfortable because she’d stop tensing up and just relax

She would have her eyes closed very tight and she wouldn’t really speak to the point where it’d be a little concerning

“Nancy? Are you ok?” “Yes.” “Are you sure?” “Yes.”

If she falls asleep be prepared to never move again because she goes deadweight pretty much immediately

Since she’s always busy she will more likely than not fall asleep

It takes some getting used to but she’s sweet 10/10

Jonathan

He definitely grew up cuddling with Joyce and Will a lot so I feel like he’d say yes and not think much of it

Very much the type to hold you versus having you hold him because with his family he was always the one doing the holding

He would let you hold him but you’d have to ask

Surprisingly takes up very little space because he sort of just curls up with his knees pressed to his chest to make sure you have enough room to get comfortable

Would sit there in silence but not in an awkward way it’d be a comfortable silence

It’s weird to describe but he has the same vibe as a cold pillow so you might get a little sleepy

If he’s either high or just very comfortable with you about 30 mins in he’d start asking you the most random of questions

“What do you think frogs think of puddles?” “Hm?” “Like, imagine finding a smaller version of your house” “Jonathan-” “Just saying it’d be a little weird”

Eventually he’d up silent again and his hold would get tighter than before as he slowly gets used to you, but he somehow isn’t aware he does this despite doing it every time

Overall you’d feel very secure and comfortable, plus you’d get to hear a wild thought, 10/10

Argyle

Of course he would say yes

Basically a giant teddy bear this man is so cuddly

Would probably just close his eyes and wrap his arms around you before whispering ‘this is nice’ in the most stereotypical way

Makes comments about your clothes if the fabric is uncomfortable or especially if it’s really comfortable

An awkward silence will not happen because if it does he’ll call it out and start a conversation

If he’s high he might try to stand up before apologizing

*he tries to stand up* “Dude I’m still here!” “Oh sorry man totally forgot you were there”

Will randomly start singing just because he likes singing and he does it whenever he’s comfortable around someone

If you guys started talking if something you said reminded him of a story he would immediately change the subject because he needs to get the thought out

“Yeah, I had a frog once and-” “FROGS! That reminds me-”

Would later on apologize for interrupting you

If he somehow ended up uncomfortable he would definitely tell you but he would make sure you didn’t feel bad about it because to him it’s not really a big deal since it’s an easy fix

Overall he’s a very comfortable and chill person, 10/10

I forgot how fun writing stuff was so I think I’m gonna start posting a lot more now. Anyways, I hope you guys like it :)

My thoughts on episode 3 of PJO: (spoilers)

I so enjoyed doing this for the first two episodes and the response was great, so hey, maybe this will be an entire series thing

-The oracle was amazing. It was a perfect mix of creepy yet humorous with Percy’s perfect voice crack and “you’re a Halloween decoration” line. Having just reread the book, I wouldn’t have remembered that the prophecy came from Gabe so that was a really cool, book-accurate detail I enjoyed.

- The WAY PERCY CHOSE ANNABETH! I freaked out. Cause you know in the book Annabeth is just like “I’m coming” and that’s that. To see Percy go out of his way to CHOOSE her for his quest was so special to me and I loved it (even tho it was for a different reason than I originally thought.)

-Annabeth’s reaction to getting picked was perfect. This is a girl who has waited YEARS for a quest and in no way do I think she was expecting to be picked. Hoping, of course. But Leah’s expression of shock then excitement was perfect

- Grover talking to the horses

-Percy picking Grover

-“I’m going to back the best snacks” The snacks in question being tin cans

-Bro give Thalia a break Percy, wth 😭. He came at her so hard for someone he hasn’t even met. Which was hilarious and so Percy-like, but dang. I thought Annabeth was gonna kill him right then and there.

-“She met a Pinecone’s fate” Like this boy…🤭

-I loved watching Leah’s expressions the whole time the three of them were traveling to the bus terminal. I will never get over how subtle she is able to make her thoughts appear on her face. Like you could clearly tell she was taking everything in for the first time in 5 years, while still trying to remain calm and seem in control in front of the other two

-THE BICKERING OMGS. I wasn’t ready for the arguing, but it fits so well. It MADE SENSE. Like none of these kids know just how much they can trust each other and their all scared and they don’t really know what they are doing so of course they are going to fight and argue and take out their emotions on each other.

-Grover’s consensus song was perfect. I had no idea why he was clapping at first and when he started to sing I was scared because it had potential to be really cringy but I honestly think it fit his vibe and was cute.

-ok, so for the scene with Annabeth in the store, I loved of course cause it was my girl and I originally watched it as a kid with a lot of money placed in front of infinite candy and she couldn’t just pick ONE so she got them all and it was adorable. But I’ve also seen posts talking about her trying to read the wrapper and since she’s dyslexic she couldn’t tell what flavor was what so she got all of them, which would also make sense and is a perfect subtle detail. Now I just saw one post that said she was trying to pick the perfect candy to make Grover and Percy LIKE HER and that just about broke my heart. Feel free to comment or reboot with your opinions because I’ve loved seeing all these different takes on that scene. All I know is it was awesome and the contrast between a girl picking candy and immediately sensing something is wrong and putting up her guard was a perfect way of showing how life is for demigods

-The invisibility cap!!!!

-“We’re lost in the woods, somewhere in New Jersey and we’re never gonna make to LA” was all I could think about

- again the BICKERING. Annabeth calling Percy out. Her asking what he’s afraid of. Grover trying so hard to keep the peace. (As a middle sibling, I felt that in my soul). “He was my protector first!” Loved that. Just the whole conversation was so interesting

I’m gonna make a part two because I have so many more thoughts on Medusa and her story and I’m hungry so I’m gonna go eat.

─ ౨ৎ ‧˚ oldersister!nat who was kinda awkward when you were born, not knowing how to get along with you or how to act—until one day, she fell on her face tripping over one of your toys, and you burst your ass off laughing, staring down at her from your high chair.

“stupid baby,” she said with a frown, rubbing her forehead, but couldn't help joining in the laughter as she found your little giggles very cute and contagious.

that entire afternoon, she kept fake tripping just to make you laugh—by the time she realized it, her legs and arms were all bruised up from all the falling.

you’re the most important person in her life and she’d do anything for you. literally.

you’ve had fights before due to her drinking and drug addictions, but she promised you that she’d try her best to quit—or at least to do it less frequently. you try to go easy on her though, because you know it’s not easy for her after what happened to your dad. not only that, but since your mom isn’t really present either, she feels very responsible for you, which at times makes her feel stressed. she really is trying her best though, cuz she hates to feel like she’s disappointing you, it literally breaks her heart.

both of you take care of each other equally. she has no (stable) parental figure to rely on, unlike you, who have her as your older sister. so, even though you're younger than her, you always try to show her that you can take care of yourself and that you can always take care of her too whenever she needs it.

she often feels guilty about your dad's death, but you've always reassured her that it wasn't her fault. you've told her many times that no matter what anyone says or thinks, she's not responsible for his death, and that you've never ever doubted that.

she isn’t very verbally expressive but will show her love for you through actions or by randomly ruffling your hair or rubbing your arm/back.

type of person to say “if you need anything just give me a call and i’ll get there in a heartbeat,” and then proceeds to put her phone on night mode and goes straight to bed ☠️ she added a focus button for whenever you go out tho, so that way, if you text her late at night in case of an emergency, she’ll actually get a notification.

she gets mad when you call her natty in public—especially after you called her that in front of tai and she bullied the shit outta her 😭😭 being like “you tired, natty? 🥺🫶🏼” at practice.

she texts “:3” ironically ☠️☠️ also sends you lots of sigma and monkey memes on instagram.

“yo i found this restaurant the other day and they fr serve the best chicken in new jersey, you’ll love it” *takes you to jollibee*

you asked her for help on your homework once and literally failed the assignment ☠️ like, you straight up got a ZERO 😭😭 the worst part is that for the next assignment, you went over to van's trailer for help, and you failed once again 😭 it wasn't until tai came over to see van that you asked for her help as a last resort, and you finally got a B+.

not a morning person at all, she would wake up at least at 1 pm every day if she could. she gets very grumpy if you wake her up before that time on the weekends or when there's no school.

“there’s NO WAY your girl kisser ass is dating travis martinez wth 🤢😭 where’s lottie when you need her” *blocks you*

you gave her a leather jacket for her birthday, and it took you forever to save up enough money to buy it since it was an expensive one—but it was worth it, cuz she loved it so much that she literally wears it every single day.

Alright listen. I’ve been thinking for a second and I had a small AvA thought, but I’m slightly scared of it but I need to share it here so if it happens (probably won’t) I’ll be like “called it.”

Actually the more I think about it the more it makes sense IM ACTUALLY SCARED OF THIS THING OMG

THEORY TIME!

So I’ve been thinking about Alan. My question was “well wth are they gonna do do him?” Because, well, they can barely do anything to him as it is right now. Alan’s a real person, there’s not much they can do to mess with him other than maybe break his computer. But if they wanted to do that, they would’ve followed Chosen into Alan’s computer, and they definitely would have seen him there when they went through Chosen’s memories. So why did Victim even interrogate Chosen about Alan in the first place? It seems worthless to go through with all that for a simple cyberattack.

I think (and hear me out on this) they’re coming after Alan in the actual world.

I think they want to find where Alan actually lives and attack him there. But how?

Well I don’t think The Box is just for keeping Chosen. I think it’s for keeping Alan. If Victim can only be amplified inside The Box, why try to being him anywhere else? If they keep Alan in the box, they could do anything to him.

Looking back at the episode we see a lot of parallels to the first AvA. Victim’s clones, the weapons he uses, yada yada. Of course Victim would want to make Alan feel what he went through. However, the only reason Victim is so strong is because he is inside The Box. Chosen was nothing but a test. Seems kind of extreme, but it makes sense when you look at it from a stick figure point of view. From that POV, Alan can be considered a god. They’re making something to hold and torture what they think is a god. (Which is funny to me bc they’ll be real disappointed to find out he’s just some wet cat.)

This is plausible and all, but the question is how would they get him in there? Simple. Virtual Reality. We already know Rocket is some sort of agency, manufacturing isn’t too far out of their league. Once they find where Alan actually is in the real world, blackmailing him and getting him to put on the headset wouldn’t be so hard.

If we’re to go even further, they could upload Alan’s consciousness into the internet and give him a body so he’d really feel the pain. They’d keep him contained, and probably try to kill him

ok hear me out, you guys have a garden at tweeks house. it's y'alls relaxing garden whenever you guys are stressed from school. and it smells like coffee cause tweeks parents grow their own coffee beans their!! you guys built this garden by yourselves. it has a mini water fountain and everything. even a lil bench. you guys mostly planted flowers there.

sneaking out to the park late at night is a thing you guys do once a week. at first tweek was skeptical because you could get kidnapped. but after a few times going he now enjoys it. you guys play hide and seek cops and robbers tag and much more. it's so chaotic too because it's at night you can't see anything. lot's of screaming is heard and the neighbors once called the cops on you guys because. they thought a murder was happening💀. you guys ran away whenever you saw blue and red lights.

on those lazy days you and tweek go to craigs house and set up his movie projector outside in his backyard. you guys lay on his trampoline with blankets and munch on snacks. ghibli movies are %100 being watched. but it's all fun and games until CRAIG starts jumping. oh nah you and tweek always be flying like 300 feet into the air. so you and tweek always get craig back with a double jump. craig finally got to visit outer space that night😍.

making coffee drinks at 3am since you guys have such a bad sleep schedule!! since tweek has the keys to his parents shop. you guys sneak in and, that's when it gets real fun and messy. you guys either make the most delicious heaven sent frappuccino's on earth. OR THE MOST DISGUESTING COFFE DRINK THAT WOULD KILL A WHOLE POPULATION. like, "no tweek i aint gonna try your coffee mayo topped with celery🙄". "i'll give you $5 bucks" "ok bet" tweek really couldn't believe you drank that. he was so disappointed in you too. you drank all that just for 5 dollars tf?? even though he was disappointed in you, he recorded you drinking it. he was laughing his ass off the whole time too omfg. the next day he was so worried because he thought you died😭😭😭. in reality you got a new and exclusive virus😍.

doing your skincare for him. i feel like sometimes his anxiety makes him break out sometimes. so he comes over to your house to ask you for skin advice and for you to do his skincare! you were so excited when he asked you that like you were screaming and jumping!! tweek didn't really get the hype though🤨. first you started off with a cleanser, then a face mask. he didn't like the consistency off the face mask because it was slimey. he was like "what am i frog🙄🙄" "yes" after that you used some serums and moisturizers then you dried him off with a fan. bro was so tired and about to fall asleep until he saw you grab more boxes. "oh jesus christ what now" "nose strips and pimple patches duh🙄" tweek actually felt nice and relaxed after you were done. it became it weekly thing for you to do his skincare. but after a while he finally does it on his own everyday. he now has the most clearest skin!! thanks you to you ofc<3

so yk how tweek has his buttons all messed up on his shirt. sometimes they pop out due to his twitches so you always sew them back on just for him. but you've been sewing his buttons on for awhile and he quicky grasps the steps very easily. after a bit of practice he learned to sew his own buttons. anyways he wanted to learn a little bit more advanced things then just sewing buttons. so you taught him more! after a couple months he made so many things. like gloves, plushies, bags and much more. but his favorite thing to do is emborder his jeans and shirts. once you guys bought each other jeans and spent the whole night and morning embroidering little things and doodles about each other. i just think this is a cute little niche thing that he does. :)

baking coffee cupcakes with him is for sure a thing you guys do. he has a huge sweet tooth! i feel like older tweek is not trying to drink as much coffee since it's been damaging him since he was a kid😭. so he starts somewhere small. you suggest coffee cupcakes since he has a sweet tooth and he loves the idea. it still has coffee but not as much. he actually created the cupcake recipe and it turned out so good!! so don't be surprised when it's 4am and you get a message from tweek that says, "lets go to walmart and get stuff for coffee cupcakes." you say yes ofc because his cupcakes are so delicious!! once you guys get back from walmart. you guys put on your matching aprons and then start baking together. tweek is the cupcake expert here so you follow his instructions. whenever you mix and measure things tweek has to watch you because. one time you put the whole bottle of vanilla extract because you were talking to him and you didn't even notice. once you guys bit into those cupcakes...... you spat them back out cause they were so nasty. this time the cupcakes turned out delicious because tweek was monitoring you😭.

so i hc that craig loves space as much as stripe so going to the space museum. are definitely things that you guys love to do and always do. you guys always go once a month if not more!! whenever you guys to the space museum, you never fail to smile at craigs lit up face when he enters🤭. his favorite exhibit is the big shuttle that takes up the whole place. the first time you guys were there you snuck onto the shuttle and toured it. it was all going until you guys got caught by security. you tried to ditch them but y'all still got caught. you both flipped off security whenever they escorted you out🙄. his 2nd favorite exhibit is the star room. it's a projector that shows stars on the ceilings and all the planets are hanging in there. there's also old love music playing in the background. this exhibit is for couples but he don't care. every time it's empty you guys pull up and start slow dancing. only for a minute because every time you see craigs serious face you start laughing and he does too. you guys can't take anything seriously😭 .

you and craig always have photoshoots with your guinea pigs. ik this sounds childish but, you and craigs love for guinea pigs are unmatched😔🙌. craig always goes to your house for the photoshoots. some examples that you've guys done are astronauts, race car drivers, and barbie and ken! and these photoshoots turn out so good im not even kidding. the accessories and clothes are hand made by y'all ofc. and the backgrounds are painted by craig. you always take the photos. craig does too sometimes but they turn out blurry. "i can take the photos this time if you want" "NO ITS OK I'LL TAKE THEM" (craig always prints out the photos and tapes it to his walls.) once stripe and piggy are done you let them run around in their own play area. BUT only when the stars are extra pretty. obviously craig owns all the astronomy books so he brings that and a flashlight! you on the other hand, you bring blankets and snacks! craig always reads while you just sit and listen. you never offer to read just so you can hear his voice more🤭. "astronyisaphenonminathathathasbeen-" "WOAH OWAH SLOW DOWN" you say. craig says, "it's not my fault im a smarter intellectual and faster reader than you🤓🤓🤓" (with sarcasm) you guys also look for constellations too! craigs house is the best place for constellation sighting. "no you dumbass it's the big dipper🙄" you always stay up on his roof top until the dawn of morning. so it's a bonus that you get to see the sunrise too. craig has a thing for lego's so he insists on inviting you whenever whenever the lego set he got was easy enough for you to build. if the set is advanced then he'll stick to building it himself and here's why. it was your first time building a lego set with craig. it was that big star wars starship model. it was all finished and craig was so proud he could cry. ohhh but he did cry whenever you dropped the starship model on the ground. 1. B*tch, this show has no right to make me cry in the first 5 minutes of this episode so early in the morning. 😭😭😭 I feel so much for Yo. At least Yo and Plug are back into each other's arms.

(I was planning on reading volumes 1-11 via physical volumes but I couldn’t wait to buy volume 10 so I decided to read it online but I ended up catching up on the entire series ?? 🙂🐸)

So here is my genuine reaction to chapters 70ish thru the current chapters

ok first of all, the character development Denji AND Power have gone through is insane. I didn’t think they could get this close, which genuinely breaks my heart that they didn’t have this for long 💔💔

They both matured for sure, there’s no denying it.

I also wanted to point out the bath scene, I haven’t really seen anyone talking about it enough, but the fact that Denji didn’t fall for selfish desires and actually helped Power bathe instead of making the situation awkward, was so sweet omg 🥺🥺

again, here we can see the difference in how he has matured, before he wanted women for his own desires but now he starts to realize that he is able to have platonic relationships with women like Power

OKAY BUT THIS WAS JUST CRUEL. IM GOING TO START BAWLING WHEN THIS GETS ANIMATED LIKE WTH

FUTURE DEVIL DID 👏NOT👏STUTTER👏 THIS WAS THE WORST POSSIBLE DEATH OMG.

I didn’t think he would die THAT quickly, this chapter literally crept up on me SO FAST

okay, and I had also gotten spoiled on this scene too but I didn’t know the context of it but now I’m sobbing 😭

Denji and Power’s relationship is literally so heartbreaking wth 💔💔 and the fact that Denji was already mourning Aki’s death made this 10x worse

ok and then this made me laugh fr I was crying like WHAT IS THIS 😭😭

Kobeni’s short return was so funny for no reason 💀💀 Like my girl is TIRED of dealing with devils, give her a break Fr 😭👏

BUT THIS HAD ME THINKING ALL. DAY. WHY IS NOBODY TALKING ABT THIS???

when I saw this page ⬇️ I was like NO FREAKING WAY… and I turned out to be right 😭😭

BIGGEST PLOT TWIST OF THE YEAR FR 😭

I literally had no idea she died, I guess I wasn’t spoiled too much for this series but yea I was kinda laughing at this tbh like WDYM HE CONSUMED HER ??

also I had no idea that this was all one big arc…

When it said “part 1” I was lowkey shocked

ok and here’s where I start talking about the second arc/current arc

Okay, for starters this arc is honestly a lot more interesting than the first one, (I love the characters in the first arc more tho) I literally love the whole idea behind all the tension between Asa and Denji, Asa is a little confusedwhen it comes to her feelings and is convinced that she doesn’t have any feelings for Denji OR Chainsaw Man but which is honestly really funny considering Denji’s personality. And Denji is just as confused as she is. 💀💀

Also I’m loving the whole idea of the alter ego dynamic where Asa’s main obstacle is the War Devil, something she is constantly battling, and is the complete opposite of, Fujimoto wrote her well imo

Also Denji being straight up blunt abt his desires was so funny to me, he is the total opposite of Asa who for the life of her (literally) cannot be selfish

I mean… at least he’s being honest BUT I think I know where this is going…

From the beginning, Denji has never truly understood love, all the girls he “fell for” were just using him, and he only wanted them for their looks, bodies, etc. but now when we bring Asa into the picture, I think she’s definitely going to change him for sure, just like Power and Aki did. I think they’re definitely going to be end game, with Asa he doesn’t really have feelings for her *yet* but I’m sure he will catch on and realize that there’s more to women than just their looks, and Asa will humble him. I cannot wait for this duo to get more and more chaotic 💀💀 I’m living for them fs ❤️
