I have been playing Ace Attorney for four hours and I'm still not done with the 26th despite it being well into the early hours of the 27th already

1-1 is the best of the training levels because it’s the introduction case not just to the game but the entire series and therefore knows that it can’t rely on any previous goodwill or prior knowledge of how the mechanics or story progression works from the player, and is still enjoyable to replay because it’s written wittily and with the player in mind of carefully funneling them into the correct choices without speaking down to them, so no matter what level of proficiency you come in with, there’s always some character quirk or bit of brilliance that is enjoyable to re-experience, and is always satisfying to see the conclusion to as it feeds into the larger game as a whole; 2-1 in comparison is somewhat lacking because it has to account for new and old players alike, and so has to fall back on tropes that even in 2002 had been seen a good handful of times before, and then doesn’t stick the landing (pun intended) of its own setup by not seeing through to its conclusion in the cohesive and chronological way that 1-1 lead its audience through, thus making it a weak sequel hook as well as difficult for new players to get into the series without knowledge of the first game

That's a personal initialism, don't worry! It's not widespread, it's just a housekeeping tag - it's short for Will Plays [The Stanley Parable] :)

All of my Gameplay posts are under the WP[initials] tags! Deltarune, OFF, Phoenix Wright, etc. etc. I don't think I've ever collected them all into one place before though, it's a bit sporadic haha

You weren't gone for forever but for a good while #Trying to rediscover a chibi style I'm happy with and replaying PWAA - it was all inevitable for a Will return #He still suits .5 best just because he was designed with a medium graphite in mind but he does well with .3 too #I did remember his coat in the first one it's just not as obvious as the later doodles - I totally forgot about his cuffs tho lol #That little floaty accent is still so silly haha #I also had the idea of an interaction with the punchline ''Ace Attorney'' but I haven't gotten to it yet - maybe at some point #Probably depends on how JfA goes lol #He's still got a fun design if nothing else #WPVG

Edgeworth deserved better

#WPPW #Wow what a shock I replay one case and all my Edgeworth feelings come back lol #Every time I think about 1-5 I just get mad all over again lol He shouldn't've been the prosecuting attorney for that case!! #He was emotionally fragile give the man a break I beg you #I just finished Turnabout Sisters again and hey I love to hate him ♪ Although I did almost cry a couple times again lol #Once at just how underhanded he was being because there's angst to it now thanks 1-4 #And once again at Mia because I miss herrrrrrr ahhhhhh #I was originally gonna skip right to 1-4 but it really needs the preamble of 1-3 to show Edgy's slow arc #It's all the more satisfying watching him put the pieces together from the other side of the courtroom ♪ #And I couldn't pass that up so 1-3 again it is!
