nose over tail by revolvermonkcelot. rated T. basically it’s an alternate, no stand au of part 5! narancia is still living on the streets by 17, but gets sort of adopted by buccellati after fugo punches him in the eye bfhsudnsj the characterization and just. pure story telling skills in this fic are amaaazing it seriously needs more credit pls i’m OBSESSED with it. so so so good

that dreamers often lie by pretentiousashell. rated G. idek how to describe this fic all i remember are the emotions i had while reading it, which were a lot i’ll have u know. basically it’s an everybody lives au where everyone is still in the mafia, but narancia gets to go to school!!(that’s not a huge plot point tho) i love the way mista is written in this fic it’s so endearing and their relationship.... hoo wee 🥺 just so sweet and fun!

learning to fall by supposed2bfunny. rated T. AAAAGGGHH THIS FIC!!! ok ok ok so essentially it’s kind of a pre-part 5? i guess? mista encounters narancia being beat up and saves him, and they become quick friends, but narancia decides to cut ties like almost immediately :( they meet again when narancia joins the gang but nara pretends he doesn’t know who mista is and. well you’ll jus have to see what happens next 😈😳

EVERYBODY LIVES AU WOOHOO WE LOVE TO SEE IT !!!!! it’s a 3+1 fic!! there’s making out and smoochin so if that makes u uncomfortable i would say avoid this one but!! seriously such a good read idk what it is about mista but the way ppl write him make me love him a little more everytime. i already love narancia enough so if a fic makes me love him more then that’s pretty impressive, and this fic did! the emoshuns... wow. yeah anyway i adore it❤️

no fair at all by captainsquarter. rated T. i’m pretty sure i’ve put this in a jojo fic rec list b4 but!! idc it’s rly good. this one also includes canonical deaths if that’s smth u want to avoid! it takes place a little after the events of part 5 and gosh. the way mista is portrayed, his anger...his grief... his resentment... it’s all so realistic and makes you feel right alongside him it’s a trip. fugo is also there which is cool but he’s also the one mista is projecting most of his negative emotions onto, within good reason. i would rly rly suggest this one it’s so so wow

coming for to carry me home by silverrollu. rated G. this one starts off start and sweet but gets really sad. i don’t wanna say a lot cause i don’t want to spoil, but just a warning: this fic DOES contain canonical deaths so watch out for that!!!!! it made me cry :((( i mean i cry a lot but whatever. just. a bittersweet read but an extremely good one at that!

you need hands by ghirga. rated T. a band au! narancia is a percussion player and is trying to teach mista the marimba but he sucks ass at it ❤️ so so so cute and fun 😭🥺
