I hate timezones. It's why of many reasons I don't think I could handle travelling very far. The fact that time is different in nearly each country (sometimes even different within regions of a country) upsets me. If I were in control of the world, there would be no daylight savings time and no timezones. Everything would work on one simple standardized timezone. Or at the very least there would only be 2-3 timezones. There'd certainly be less than there are now.

I realize there's no easy solution to all this, but I kind of wish there was at least a way of simplifying it. We have like at least 20 timezones, right? It'd be easier if there like only 9 or 10 of them. I doubt that'll ever happen, but it would at least in theory make things easier. And if we can't get around to getting rid of timezones, I think we should at least get rid of daylight savings time. That's the least we can do.
